Salesforce is an impressive company. They pretty much invented the SaaS model, and are the fastest-growing enterprise software company ever. In addition, they consistently get voted as one of the best places to work around the globe. It’s rare that you don’t see Salesforce grabbing the #1 spot, or at least a close second or third.
If you’ve ever been inside a Salesforce office (or Tower!), you will know why. They put a huge emphasis on employee well-being. This doesn’t just include the free snacks and plush offices, but also an emphasis on work-life balance, physical and mental health. Of course, a part of becoming one of the best places to work is also paying well, and boy do Salesforce pay well! This article includes some of the most common jobs inside Salesforce, including respective salaries and bonuses.
Salesforce Salaries 2022
These figures have all been sourced from Glassdoor, and we’ve focused on roles that have the highest number of salary reports, so we can be sure the numbers are pretty accurate. To keep things simple, we’ve used salaries from the USA, but you will find most of these jobs globally, and the salaries and roles will be relative.
Account Executive
Salesforce Account Executives are the Salesforce sales team army, and they are charged with managing Salesforce’s 150,000 customers. Account Execs will manage a varying number of accounts depending on the size of the customer – this could range from 50 smaller accounts to a single account like Coca-Cola.
Account Executives are typically paid on a 50% split of annual basic salary, with 50% made up by commission. These are the guys and gals that close the deals!

Business Development Representative
Business Development Reps, often abbreviated to BDRs, are the people responsible for generating Leads for Salesforce. This could come in many forms such as phone calls, email, social networking, etc. Once BDRs have a bite, they will qualify the Lead and pass it onto an Account Executive to take them through the full sales cycle and close the deal.
BDRs are typically paid commission on the qualified Leads they pass over to AEs, not on the closing of a deal.

SDRs and BDRs can often have interchanging roles from company to company. However, in Salesforce, they are charged with qualifying inbound Leads. These Leads could come from Salesforce’s website, events, or webinars.
SDRs will qualify the Lead, and then pass it to an Account Executive. Typically you will only find SDRs in the smaller customer segments.

Solution Engineers are Account Executives’ best friends. An AE is in charge of relationship building and actually closing the deal, and a Solution Engineer is the technical product expert. They are in charge of gathering the customer’s requirements, digesting the pain points, and creating a fancy demo to show the customer the power of Salesforce.
SEs are paid a fair chunk of commission as well, but this is usually based on team performance (not individual).

To set up the basic parameters of payroll accounting, VLSI provides a wizard to get started. To add additional parameters or change them, in the “Employees / Salary” section, select an organization, click and go to “Accounting and parameters”.
Set up:
start date, AtoN, insurance premium rates, injury rate and more – in section “ Settlement »;
conditions for payment of salaries and advances, rounding of their amounts, banks for issuance – in section “ Payments “;
calculation of vacation pay with a rolling period, formation of a reserve – in section “ Vacations “;
territorial conditions, participation in the FSS project “Direct payments” and details of the payslip – in the section “ Special conditions “;
responsible departments for the payment of personal income tax – in the section “ Reporting “.
In the “Calculation” section, set the date from which you start keeping track of wages in VLSI. From this date, debts to employees will be formed.
When loading payroll data from reports, the work start date will be set automatically. Accruals before this date will be downloaded from the reporting, and after that they will be calculated in VLSI.
If you repeat salary turnovers manually or from 1C, then only the salary will be calculated before this date, and after that, all permanent allowances, including northern and regional, sick leave and vacations that you added to VLIS.
Specify the taxation system or add several when combining modes if you are just starting to keep records in VLIS. Click .
If you have already kept records in VLSI and want to change the AtoN in connection with the transition to another mode, in the “Change system from” line, indicate the date when the new AtoN is applied.
Change the conditions for calculating insurance premiums. The rates depend on the main type of economic activity of the organization and on the conditions determined by the Tax Code of the Russian Federation (Article 427 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation). If company:

Specify how to calculate the salary for a month not fully worked: according to the days or hours worked. You can change this setting for one or more employees.
Select how to calculate the salary on the shift schedule if the salary is calculated per month:
from the schedule – actual hours worked are multiplied by the cost per hour;
from the shift plan – the employee is paid a salary regardless of the number of hours worked per month.
If you want to change the conditions for an employee, create a document “Change of wages”.
Set up the payroll calculation for totalized time tracking.
Click Apply.
Set salary and advance payment dates. The advance date refers to the current month, and the salary date refers to the next.
You can also set up salary payment on the last working day of the month or on the current date. To do this, click “numbers” and select the desired option.
For branches and subdivisions, you can choose a different payment procedure. To do this, click “Subdivisions with other payment terms” and specify the values.
Select the advance payment method or set a fixed amount on employee cards.

Add a bank if the organization is involved in a payroll project.
Click Apply.
In the “Vacations” section, specify how to calculate the average earnings for holidays that affect several working periods: for each period or only for one.
To create vacation reserves, enable their formation.
Specify the conditions for issuing vacations for employees who have a personal VLSI account:
check the box to enable employees to arrange vacations on their own;
indicate the period during which you need to take a vacation;
Add a document that can or must be uploaded to receive leave.
Specify additional vacations under the collective agreement of your organization: select the type of vacation or create your own.
How to set up vacations under a collective agreement?
Click Apply.
If you start keeping records in VLIS and enter the remaining vacation days of all employees, issue a vacation adjustment.
Set up the application of regional coefficients and percentage bonuses to wages (Articles 316, 317 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). To do this, set:
territorial conditions;
maximum northern allowance;
local and federal district coefficients. They may differ. The federal coefficient is used when calculating the sick leave from the minimum wage, the regional coefficient is used when calculating salaries. Complete both fields, even if the odds are the same.
After selecting the territorial conditions, you will be able to see the amount of the allowance by region. To do this, click .
Enter the number of additional vacation days that all employees in the organization are entitled to, and click . You can set them up for a specific employee in his card.
To specify special conditions for a branch located in a different region, click “Subdivisions with other territorial conditions”.
If the conditions for the branch are not specified, the data of the parent organization will be used in the calculation.
You can specify the northern allowance for an employee, taking into account the length of service, from the employee card or the employment document.
Specify the date of joining the FSS Direct Payments project.
The project is applied to the entire organization together with its separate subdivisions, regardless of the region in which they are located.
Set the payslip printing options.
How will the payslip be displayed when printed?
Click Apply.
If your organization has separate subdivisions (OS) that are located on the territory of one municipality, then you can pay personal income tax:
at the location of one of the OPs – if the parent organization is located in another municipality;

Payroll accounting for the simplified tax system – Kontur.
Accounting – SKB Kontur
Companies and individual entrepreneurs on the simplified tax system with the object of taxation “income – expenses” can take into account labor costs as part of expenses when calculating the tax base.
Labor costs
Companies and individual entrepreneurs on a simplified tax regime with the object of taxation “income – expenses” can take into account labor costs as expenses when calculating the tax base (clause 1, article 346.16, clause 2, article 346.18 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation). This must be done in accordance with the rules of Chapter 25 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation (Article 255, Subclause 6, Clause 2, Article 346.16 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation).
Companies on the simplified tax system use the cash method of recognizing income and expenses, so labor costs can only be taken into account after they are paid (clause 2 of article 346.17 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation).
Labor costs include:
accruals in favor of employees at tariff rates, salaries, piece rates;
incentive charges and allowances;
compensation related to working hours and working conditions;
company costs for the maintenance of employees.
A complete list of labor costs is contained in Article 255 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation.

Which labor costs cannot be taken into account in full
Some expenses relating to labor costs cannot be taken into account in full. In particular, these include:
expenses under contracts for voluntary insurance of employees, non-state pension provision;
expenses for additional contributions to the funded part of the pension;
expenses for reimbursement of interest paid by employees on loans and borrowings for the purchase or construction of housing (clause 16, clause 24. 1, article 255 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation).
For example, the total amount of contributions under contracts of long-term life insurance of employees, voluntary pension insurance and (or) non-state pension provision of employees is taken into account for taxation in the amount of no more than 12% of the amount of the organization’s expenses for labor remuneration (paragraph 7, paragraph 16 of Art. 255 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation).
Expenses for reimbursement of employees’ expenses for paying loans and borrowings for the purchase or construction of housing can be included in the calculation of the tax base if they do not exceed 3% of the amount of expenses for wages (clause 24.1, article 255 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation).
Labor costs and tax base
In order for labor costs to be included in the calculation of the tax base for the single tax, a number of conditions must be met.
Such expenses must be economically justified, documented and aimed at generating income (clause 1, article 252 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation).

Abstract
Sialic acid is found in especially high concentrations in brain gangliosides, and supplementary sialic acid is associated with increased learning behaviour in animals. It was hypothesised that breast fed infants may have higher concentrations of sialic acid in body fluids and tissues because human milk is a rich source of sialylated oligosaccharides, while formulas contain very little. The aim therefore was to compare the sialic acid content of saliva collected from full term infants who were either solely breast fed or formula fed until weaning at 3–5 months of age. Thirty three infants, 18 breast fed and 15 formula fed, were studied at a mean (SD) age of 5 (2) months. The breast fed infants, when compared with formula fed infants, were found to have almost two times more free sialic acid in saliva (mean (SE) 16.0 (2.7) v 8.2 (2.1) mg/l, p < 0.036) and nearly 50% more total sialic acid (47.3 (3.9)v 32.2 (4.4) mg/l, p<0.014). The findings provide a preliminary indication that an exogenous source of sialic acids derived from human milk may contribute to higher concentrations of sialic acid in body fluids. There are important implications for the formulation of human milk substitutes.

Preterm infants who consume breast milk in the early weeks of life have been shown to have significantly higher developmental scores at 18 months of age and higher IQ scores at 8 years than those who are formula fed, even after controlling for confounders such as socioeconomic status.1-4 The distinction becomes more pronounced as the duration of breast feeding increases.5Human milk contains many factors that may promote the development of the nervous system, including long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. The results of supplementation, however, have yielded conflicting findings.6 We believe that a sugar called sialic acid, present in human milk and brain gangliosides in large amounts, but virtually absent in some infant formulas,7-9 may be another factor which promotes brain development. In a previous study, we showed that human milk contains between 256 and 879 mg/l sialic acid derived from the human milk oligosaccharides. 10
N-acetylneuraminic acid is the predominant and perhaps only form of sialic acid occurring in humans.11 It is commonly present as a component of oligosaccharide chains of mucins, glycoproteins, and gangliosides. Especially high concentrations of gangliosides (a large group of sialic acid containing glycolipids, composed of sialyloligosaccharide and lipid moieties) are found in the cerebral cortex of the human brain.12 Studies have shown that intraperitoneal and oral administration of freeN-acetylneuraminic acid (= sialic acid) during the early postnatal period in the rat,13 results in a significant increase in the concentration of sialic acid in brain ganglioside and glycoprotein. Addition of gangliosides to cell cultures was also shown to enhance neurite outgrowth and to stimulate regeneration of neurons in the central nervous system.7
12 In rats during the early postnatal period, a decrease in exogenous sialic acid concentration leads to irreversibly impaired learning behaviour. Conversely, supplementary sialic acid improves learning.13
These findings suggest that the normal development of the infant brain may also be dependent on the sufficient production and maintenance of brain gangliosides and therefore dependent on an adequate supply of sialic acid. Mammals can synthesise N-acetylneuraminic acid from simple sugar precursors, however, the human infant liver may not have the full adult capacity for synthesising sialic acids during the early postnatal period.7 This was shown in young rats where the activity of uridine diphosphateN-acetylglucosamine-2-epimerase (responsible for catalysing the first step to the biosynthesis of sialic acids) was low.14
Studies comparing sialic acid concentrations in human infants have not been reported. This study was initiated to determine if there were any differences in the sialic acid content of saliva collected from full term breast fed and formula fed infants. Although preterm infants show greater brain development ex utero than term infants, there is still significant accretion of brain tissue in the first few months of life of term infants. Saliva was chosen as an indicator fluid that is known to have a high concentration of sialic acid (from which the word saliva is derived) and which could be collected non-invasively from healthly young infants. Adult saliva was also studied to allow comparison with previous reports of sialic acid concentration in saliva. The findings provide a preliminary indication that an exogenous source of sialic acids derived from human milk may contribute to higher concentrations of sialic acid in body fluids.
Methods
Thirty three healthy, full term infants, mean (SD) age 5 (2) months were recruited for the study. Eighteen were solely breast fed and 15 were solely formula fed with cows’ milk based preparations until weaning at 3–5 months of age. At the time of study, 10 of the 18 breast fed infants and seven of the 15 formula fed infants received small amounts of other foods in addition to breast milk or formula. Milk contributed the majority of energy intake and, to our knowledge, it was the only significant source of sialic acid in the diet. None of the subjects was receiving antibiotics. Infant saliva (1–1.5 ml) was collected using a sterile pasteur pipette under the supervision of a mothercraft nurse and analysed within one hour of collection. Twenty four adults, mean (SD) age 23 (2) years were studied for comparison. Their saliva was collected by expectorating into a sterile container (2–4 ml) at least two hours after food ingestion. The adult saliva was analysed immediately.
Sailva was centrifuged at 4°C, 11 000 g for 10 minutes and the supernatant removed for analysis. The remaining sediment was washed with saline (7%, pH 7.0) and centrifuged at 4°C, 11 000g for three minutes. The saline supernatant fraction was discarded, and the wash procedure was repeated. The sediment was then resuspended to the original volume with saline (7%, pH 7.0). Sialic acid content was determined by a combined modification of the thiobarbituric acid method of Aminoff15 and the method of Skoza and Mohos.16 The thiobarbituric assay is considered to be more precise and subjected to the least interference than other colorimetric methods for the detection of sialic acid content in saliva. 17
N-acetylneuraminic acid was used as the standard. Aliquots (140 μl) of standard, blank, or sample were added to an equal volume of water. The samples were treated with 70 μl of periodate reagent (25 mM periodic acid in 0.125 N sulphuric acid) and incubated at 37°C for 30 minutes. The reaction was terminated through the addition of 70 μl of sodium arsenite (2% sodium arsenite in 0.22 M hydrochloric acid). Once the yellow colour of liberated iodine had disappeared, 140 μl of thiobarbituric acid (0.1M, pH 9.0) was added and the solution was heated in a boiling water bath for 7.5 minutes then cooled in ice water. Dimethyl sulphoxide (560 μl) was added and the solutions were measured at 549 nm using plastic microcuvettes. In cases where the solution was turbid due to the presence of precipitates, the solution was centrifuged for three minutes before measuring on the spectrophotometer.
Because the method measures free sialic acid only, the salivary supernatant and sediment samples (140 μl) were hydrolysed with 0. 05M sulphuric acid (140 μl) at 80°C for 60 and 70 minutes respectively, to determine the total (free plus released sialic acid) content. The bound sialic acid content was determined by substracting the value of free from total. The final values for sialic acid content of saliva were determined by summing the values obtained for the supernatant and sediment.
All results are expressed as mean (SE) with p<0.05 taken as the level of significance using unpaired Student’s t test and one way analysis of variance.
Results
Saliva collected from breast fed infants was found to have approximately double the amount of free sialic acid and nearly 50% more total sialic acid content than that from formula fed infants (fig1, table 1).
Figure 1
(A) free, (B) bound, and (C) total sialic acid content of infant saliva according to method of feeding.
Table 1
Mean (SE) sialic acid content in saliva of breast fed and formula fed infants.
By comparison, adult concentrations of bound and total sialic acid in saliva (table 2) were higher than that of breast fed and formula fed infants (p<0.05). Free sialic acid concentrations, however, were similar in adults and breast fed infants and both groups were significantly higher than that of formula fed infants (p<0.05). Adult men had more bound and more total sialic acid content than adult women (table 2).

Discussion
To our knowledge, we are the first to report the sialic acid content of infant saliva. Our results show that breast fed infants, when compared with formula fed infants, have almost two times more free sialic acid in saliva (16.0 v 8.2 mg/l respectively) and nearly 50% more total sialic acid (47.3 v 32.2 mg/l). While the mean differences are clearly biologically important, there was considerable overlap between the two groups in all three measures of sialic acid concentration. This suggests that infants may vary markedly in their capacity to synthesise their own sialic acid and/or to absorb it from the diet. Alternatively, infants may show variation in other attributes of their saliva, such as its protein or water content, which ultimately impacts on the final concentration of sialic acid. Clearly, further studies are needed to confirm these provocative findings.
We found no significant difference between the sexes with the mean total sialic acid content being 39.2 and 42.1 mg/l for boys and girls respectively. No correlation was detected between the age of the infant and sialic acid content of their saliva. In fact, the concentrations of free sialic acid in the saliva of breast fed infants, although not formula fed infants, approached that of adults.
It has been shown that the measurement of substances in saliva might be a reliable indicator of plasma and body concentrations of these agents.18 The amount of nitrite in saliva, for example, was found to depend directly on the amount of nitrate and nitrite ingested. 18
19 Dietary supplementation with β carotene (provitamin A) in human subjects results in significantly higher concentrations of β carotene in whole saliva compared with a control group.20 Hence it is highly plausible that the higher value for total sialic acid content in the saliva of breast fed infants reflects the high concentration of sialic acid in breast milk which augments uptake and incorporation into salivary glycoproteins. Like nitrates and nitrites,18 ingested sialic acid is probably absorbed by the upper gastrointestinal tract, concentrated from the plasma and excreted into the saliva by salivary glands. Thus sialic acids in breast milk may supplement a limited capacity for endogenous synthesis of sialic acid in the human infant.
Many researchers have assumed that the gastrointestinal tract of suckling mammals contains significant amounts of sialidase activity that can cleave sialic acid residues from the oligosaccharides in the milk. The extent to which this occurs will influence the amount of sialic acid absorbed in the small intestine and the amount of the exogenous sialic acid available for brain ganglioside synthesis. Dickson and Messer found a direct correlation between intestinal sialidase activity and the sialic acid content in milk of suckling rats and 12 other species.14 Sialidase activity has also been shown to occur in human adult intestinal mucosa, and in gastric and intestinal secretions21 and human milk.22 If substantial amounts of sialic acids derived from human milk are incorporated, then the developmental and intellectual scores of human infants and children may be critically influenced by the nature of feeding in the first few months of life.
It is interesting that in the present study, free sialic acid concentration of breast fed infants was similar to that of adults (16.0v 13.5 mg/l, respectively) while formula fed infants achieved about half this concentration (8.2 mg/l). This observation supports the view that formula fed infants may neither have a sufficient dietary supply of sialic acid, nor are they able to synthesise sufficient amounts endogenously. Previous studies in adults have documented similar concentrations of sialic acid in saliva to those found in the present study,23 with a range from 45 mg/l24 to 63 mg/l25 for total sialic acid.
There are other implications of a higher sialic acid content in saliva of breast fed infants. It has been shown that sialic acid contributes to the viscosity of saliva26 and that the viscosity of saliva and the mucin content are positively correlated.27The main function of mucins is to protect the mucosal surfaces by forming a coating layer thereby acting as a lubricative gel, protecting the oral surfaces against mechanical disruption or abrasion. Thus, it is also possible that the breast fed infant has enhanced physical protective mechanisms as a result of the greater sialic acid content in their saliva.
Further research is needed to determine whether other fluids and tissues such as serum, cerebrospinal fluid, and brain gangliosides of breast fed infants have higher concentrations of sialic acid and, importantly, that this can be related to higher intake from exogenous sources. Any difference may contribute to our understanding of why intelligence scores are higher in breast fed infants. If sialic acid from dietary sources can be shown to influence the development of the human brain, this will have important implications for the formulation of human milk substitutes.

Babies Born with Congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV)
When a baby is born with cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection, it is called congenital CMV. Most babies with congenital CMV never show signs or have health problems. However, some babies have health problems at birth or that develop later.
Some babies with congenital CMV infection have signs at birth, such as:
Rash
Jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes)
Microcephaly (small head)
Low birth weight
Hepatosplenomegaly (enlarged liver and spleen)
Seizures
Retinitis (damaged eye retina)
Some babies with signs of congenital CMV infection at birth can have long-term health problems, such as:
Hearing loss
Developmental and motor delay
Vision loss
Microcephaly (small head)
Seizures
Some babies can have hearing loss at birth or can develop it later, even babies who passed the newborn hearing test or didn’t have any other sings at birth.
CMV is the most common infectious cause of birth defects in the United States. About 1 out of 200 babies is born with congenital CMV.
One out of 5 babies with congenital CMV will have symptoms or long-term health problems, such as hearing loss.
In the most severe cases, CMV can cause pregnancy loss.
Most people with CMV infection have no symptoms and aren’t aware that they have been infected. If you are pregnant and get infected with CMV, you can pass the virus to your baby during pregnancy. This can happen when you are infected with CMV for the first time or again during pregnancy.
Young children are a common source of CMV
By the age of 5 years, one in three children has been infected with CMV, but usually does not have symptoms. The virus can stay in a child’s body fluids like saliva and urine for months after the infection. People who are around young children a lot are at greater risk of CMV infection.
Parents and childcare providers can lower their risk of getting CMV by reducing contact with saliva (spit) and urine from babies and young children.
Do not share food, utensils, or cups with a child.
Wash your hands with soap and water after changing diapers or helping a child to use the toilet.
Congenital CMV infection can be diagnosed by testing a newborn baby’s urine (preferred specimen), saliva, or blood. These specimens must be collected for testing within 2 to 3 weeks after the baby is born to confirm a diagnosis of congenital CMV infection.
For babies with signs of congenital CMV infection at birth, antiviral medications (primarily valganciclovir) might improve hearing and developmental outcomes. Valganciclovir can have serious side effects and has only been studied in babies with signs of congenital CMV infection. There is limited information on the effectiveness of valganciclovir to treat infants with hearing loss alone.

Care for newborn: 10 reasons for anxiety, which should not be worried about
NEWBORN CARE: 10 WORRYS NOT TO WORRY ABOUT
Every minute, a newborn baby not only brings you great joy, but also gives you many reasons to worry. We decided to do a little research to understand what new parents should worry about and what can be left unattended.
Touching the fontanel – a wide soft area on the baby’s head. It does not matter if you touch the fontanel, it will not harm the child in any way. Do not think that by touching the fontanel, you are directly touching the baby’s brain. So what are you touching anyway? To a dense protective shell. Thanks to the fontanelles, the head of an infant passing through the birth canal is compressed without damaging the brain. By about a year, the fontanels overgrow.
Distinct pulse in the fontanelle area . Do not be alarmed if you can literally observe the pulsation of blood in the fontanelle of a newborn – this indicates the normal operation of the baby’s circulatory system. Since the fontanelles are located in places of incomplete fusion of the bones, they have a soft structure, so veins and arteries are visible on them.
Blood on the diaper of a newborn girl . During pregnancy, a surge in the mother’s production of the hormone estrogen can stimulate the uterus of the female fetus. During the first weeks of a girl’s life, they often experience so-called. “mini-menstruation”, when bloody discharge from the uterus appears.
Small chest cavity for infants . Relax, your child is not sick. According to experts, the sternum consists of three parts. It is possible that the depression you noticed is the lowest part, pointing back. As the child grows, his chest and abdominal muscles will gradually flatten this depression. However, even before that time, layers of eye-pleasing baby fat will hide this completely normal feature of the structure of newborns.
Soft watery stools after every feeding . When breastfeeding, newborns often poop after each feed. There is no pathology in this, just breast milk is absorbed very quickly (with artificial feeding, babies poop less often). And the watery consistency of their feces is due to the liquid nutrition of newborns.
Constant hiccups . Experts cannot say with complete certainty why babies hiccup so often. Some believe that this is due to a poorly established connection between the brain and the diaphragm – the muscular septum that separates the chest cavity from the abdominal cavity and regulates breathing. Whatever the reason, hiccups are a completely harmless and inalienable attribute of infancy.
Tears and screams. The nervous system of newborns is extremely prone to irritation. Newborns are easily frightened. These two reasons are enough to explain why babies shed so many tears. Crying is the only way an infant can express its needs. Simply put, newborns are simply supposed to cry and scream a lot, so you shouldn’t worry too much – your baby is unlikely to be in serious danger.
Small pimples on the face . Because of the maternal hormones still in the baby’s body, he often develops acne between 2 weeks and 2 months of age. This rash is completely harmless and requires only the most minor cleansing. No need to wipe it with Clearasil.
Swollen breasts in girls… and boys ! The hormones that stimulate mini-menstruation in newborn girls also cause slight breast enlargement in infants of both sexes. Unusual? Yes. Temporarily? Exactly. Should I be worried? In no case.
Constant sneezing . Babies have such tiny noses! Even the smallest drop of mucus causes the urge to sneeze. And since your baby has only recently left his cozy watery home in your womb, he can’t escape at least minor inconvenience, which can cause a few sneezes. If sneezing is not accompanied by the release of yellowish thick mucus, indicating a cold, you just need to wish him good health. Soon the sneezing will stop by itself

Digestion of newborns.
Features of the digestion of infants
Caring for a baby implies not only love, but also an understanding of how the body of a small person works and what processes take place in it. This knowledge is necessary in order to correctly organize the nutrition of the baby, as well as respond to the nuances of his life without panic and surprise.

While the baby is waiting to be born in the womb, his digestive system is in a state of inactivity. The embryo receives nutrition through the placenta. As soon as a child is born, it becomes necessary to obtain nutrients in the traditional way for a person – through the mouth. The baby’s mind already has a sucking reflex, but it needs to be “launched”. That is why early (ideally in the first half hour of life) attachment of the baby to the mother’s breast is so important. If you give a newborn a nipple first, then the muscles of the oral cavity will remember exactly its shape and the so-called “nipple” sucking will form. In the future, when breastfeeding, the mother will have problems – the child will injure the nipples or completely refuse the breast.
How to improve digestion in infants?
The volume of the stomach of a newborn is only 30 ml. When the baby begins to grow, the capacity of the stomach will also increase – at the age of 1 month it will be about 100 ml, at 3 months – 150 ml, at six months – 200 ml, by 1 year – 250 ml. Mom needs to understand that such a small organ cannot be overfilled. Overfeeding will stretch the walls of the stomach and will contribute to overeating in the future.
Breast milk (and in the early days colostrum, more nutritious, high in protein, very energetically valuable) is an ideal food for a baby. 10 ml of colostrum per feeding in the first days of life will fully satisfy the newborn’s need for food. Together with milk, antibodies to many infectious diseases enter the baby’s body (those that the mother had been ill in her life). Thus, the child receives a kind of vaccination. In addition, milk is the most easily digestible and easily digestible food. This is important, since the process of digestion in newborns is only being formed, and very few enzymes are produced in the stomach to digest food.
One of the important components of the digestive process is saliva. In a newborn, due to the weak development of the salivary glands in the oral cavity, there is little of it. Dry mucous membrane is very susceptible to minor damage and infection. In addition, antibodies (class A immunoglobulins) that protect it are not produced at all in the first month of life. Therefore, babies often develop thrush. With growing up, the production of saliva will increase, but the swallowing reflex will not form immediately, therefore, at 3-4 months, the child will experience frequent salivation. So that saliva does not irritate the skin, it must be wiped periodically.
The stomach of young children is horizontal until the child begins to walk. Food stays in it for an average of 2.5–3 hours. This must be taken into account when organizing intervals in feeding. Artificial formulas take longer to digest than breast milk – an average of 3-4 hours.
The intestines of a newborn are very long, and the muscles of the internal organs are still weak. That is why children in the first 3 months of life often experience constipation. Later the chair is normalized. Usually, children in the first months of life empty their intestines 2-4 times a day. By the end of the first year, 1-2 times a day is considered normal. Be prepared for the fact that in the first two days of life, thick, very dark-colored primordial feces will come out of the baby’s intestines. This is meconium – it accumulated in the baby’s body throughout the entire intrauterine development.

Not only that, you can also be CPR certified in Junior Year, and renew in in the summer or during Senior Year.
The Lunch is also WAY better than BISD, we get chili dogs, pizza, lemon pepper chicken, garlic bread, etc.
It’s a public school, so anyone in the Rio Grande can attend!
The only downside is that it has little involvement in sports, only going against our sister schools. But other than that, its a good place to go, even if you don’t want to be in the medical field…. Read 232 reviews

Senior: Thelma mostly specializes in any of the STEM majors, the teachers and faculty members are all there to hear you out, they’re pretty easy to talk to! It’s an early college high school so you graduate with an associate’s degree in your major, it’s definitely worth it since you can take that degree with you to any other college in Texas (Mainly South Texas College in McAllen). The class (class of 2023, class of 2024, etc.) sizes are pretty small, each being a minimum of 100 students. Unfortunately, they only offer interdisciplinary majors if you’re interested in any other career paths.There are very few clubs considering most students usually spend time focusing on their college courses and high school classes. I highly recommend coming here if you’re focusing on STEM majors…. Read 154 reviews

Alum: This school is one of my favorite high schools in the world. I enjoyed it because you get to experience God in a cool and fresh way. Activities are sometimes done once in a blue moon, and they are fun. Seniors get to go on a Senior Trip, possibly out of the country; the entire school gets to go on a trip to Mo-Ranch! Obviously, it’s not free, but it’s a great experience and all the teachers are very nice and they can become your best friends. You can make friends easily. It’s so much fun. It’s a total blessing. Senior: Idea Weslaco Pike College Prep is an excellent High School. In Pike the teachers and administration really care about every single one of their students. They always make sure no one falls behind. This is achieved by creating an environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and everyone feels comfortable enough to help each other. Personally I have always done good in school and I have noticed that all of the other well performing students are always eager to explain a topic to those who dont understand. Overall Pike is a school that produces well rounded students who are hungry for knowledge. I would like however to be pushed more. Maybe it is because it is a relatively new school, but I feel like the school does not offer enough resources for students tro grow outside of class. Ohter than that the school does what is is supposed to…. Read 9 reviews

Senior: I like the academics for Idea San Benito as you are able to apply for additional AP class to gain college credits. Some things the school can do better is add Dual enrollment so some students can get started on college work now instead of being overwhelmed in college. Although the breakfast is healthy I quite enjoyed the old breakfasts that were now gone such as Bear cookies, Mini wheats, strawberry cream bar, and the cereals(Fruit loops, apple Jacks, Frosted flaks). Also the school lunch only serves milk now, I hope with this review would change it back to serving strawberry milk, Chocolate Milk, and maybe adding some Kool-Aid from large pitchers…. Senior: When attending DSST, it was very good. I received a lot of support from the teachers when struggling and was able to create really strong relationships with my teachers. Academically I was always pushed to do my best, even when having doubt in myself teachers were right behind me to show me I could. The only thing that I would change is that throughout the years it appears that middle schoolers entering the high school are getting more and more disrespectful. It turning much more from a very mature and disciplined school to schools that are known for trouble such as other schools like Aurora Central or Hinkley. Besides that the school has great diversity, and support. It’s such a small school , everyone knows about everyone , giving a great sense of community…. Read 16 reviews

Senior: My experience at Idea Weslaco Pike was a splendid experience, I had a awesome 4 years that taught me many valuable lessons and introduced me to great connections. My school was academics first, no matter what being in sports or clubs was a privilege and academics was the main priority, my school had many AP classes available for us . Paid for our ACT exams and gave us all the necessary tools in order to succeed in the classroom. The teachers were heavily involved and helped us through out my 4 years of high school, weather it was personal problems going on at home or getting us through a rigged curriculum. The administration wasn’t the best at times if I’m being honest but they made sure the environment was top tier for us to achieve the best of our academic potential. Harlingen on Wikipedia
Harlingen is a city located in southern Texas in Cameron County, about 48 kilometers from the Gulf Coast. It has an area of 88.9 km² and is the second largest city in Cameron County, after Brownsville. It is the city with the cheapest cost of living in the United States. The city was founded at 1904 by Lon C. Hill at the junction of Highways 77 and 83. It was named after the city of the same name in the Netherlands. It was an industrial center and a commercial waterway. In 1905, the first school was opened in Harlingen, which then taught 15 people. The main agricultural crops were vegetables and cotton. Military installations built in the city during World War II caused a population spike from 23,000 to 41,000. After the closure of these facilities in 1962, the population fell to 33,603. K 19In 80, 40,824 people lived in Harlingen. Within 5 years, in 1985, the population increased to 49,000 people, 80% of which were Hispanic or of Hispanic origin. In the late 1980s, tourism revenue was second only to citrus fruits, grains, and cotton. Wholesale and retail trade and light manufacturing were also conducted in the city. The first hospital was built in 1923 and consisted of only two barracks. A few years later, a new hospital was built and the old one was closed.

Was there on Halloween. A lot of screaming children, entertainment, horror stories, and all this surrounded by wild burning eyes. Very atmospheric. Husband loved it, but I’m not a fan of cages or animals in them

Awesome zoo!
When I ended up in this zoo, I was happy as a child! Animals at arm’s length sometimes! And feeding the giraffes! And there is no feeling that the animals are bad there! Huge zoo! You have to go all day. Of course, it is better to stock up on something edible from home, because it seemed to me that the food at the zoo was fast food.

Informative, but not atmospheric
A very interesting place, but too well maintained. Because of this, the atmosphere of a slave plantation is slightly lost. From almost all the dwellings of the slaves, only the skeletons remained, the building for meetings was well preserved, it is also a church. nine0475 You can see the outside and look inside the house of the owners. Very beautiful park, access to the water. Interesting information on slavery: how slaves were transported, how they were kept, etc. For example, it was a discovery for me that when Florida belonged to the Spaniards, whites and blacks were equal (almost, at least, blacks were not slaves), and with the arrival of the British / Americans, everything changed for the worse. I also didn’t know that in Africa the Negroes themselves caught their fellows and sold them to slave traders (((

perfect! rime to make photos). I also made some yoga there-increadible!) We were there without bicycles but it is also perfect place to make a small trip by bikes close to the beach(sometimes right on the beach!!!!!)Isn’t is great! ?))) nine0475 (We were there in October, so all the people were already resting on the Gulf of Mexico, and this beautiful wild beach was completely empty! There were strong waves and a rather cool ocean, but the time spent there was remembered for a very long time) You can relax and do yoga, like having a picnic. Quiet, beautiful place. You can also ride bikes along the coast, there is a special “track” .. It’s wonderful!

Line personnel – what is it [and how to work with them]
05.2019″> 05/30/2019
Recruiters often start their professional journey with the selection of line staff. Who are these specialists, what to look for when looking for them, and why a high turnover of personnel can ruin everything?
Line personnel are employees who perform basic functions in any company, especially in production and trade. Often this is the most numerous part of the team, which is divided into the following categories:
No special education or work experience. It is enough for such employees to take a short internship or an introductory course directly in the company. These are sellers, cashiers, couriers, call center operators, consultants, security guards.
With special education. Performing work in such positions requires special knowledge. These are builders, cosmetologists, hairdressers, sales managers, masseurs, drivers.
With specialized education. These are doctors, teachers, bank employees, that is, positions that simply require a sufficiently high level of knowledge in their field to work. nine0014
Causes of turnover
The main problem in recruiting line personnel is high staff turnover. The first reason for this is low wages. For such workers, the income level is clearly marked “on the bank” and in most cases does not provide for any bonus system. This is especially true for workers without education and experience. However, they view their work as temporary and can often treat it lightly and irresponsibly. The second reason is that people quickly get tired of monotonous work. And if the employer himself can reduce the turnover for the first reason, then the recruiter should pay more attention to the second reason. After all, it is he who must understand how a particular job is suitable for a particular candidate. nine0005
Tips for recruiters and employers
Work with universities. Students know firsthand what line staff is. Young people always want to quickly gain work experience. Yes, and additional income will not be superfluous. Therefore, they often consider such positions as a launching pad. By establishing work with universities, you can get interested potential employees. Whether a student wants to develop in your company when he has already gained experience will depend only on the policy of the management and the approaches being implemented in the HR direction. nine0008
Implement a referral system. Employees who already work in the company become a kind of “advocates” of the brand. And, for sure, they can advise someone from their acquaintances for open positions. To motivate potential job seekers to be more willing to talk about vacancies, you can introduce a financial bonus for a “brought” friend who successfully passes the interview.
Take care of the employee. Standardized work schedule, office location, compliance with labor laws – all this can affect the departure of line personnel. The recruiter should discuss in advance all the “dangerous” areas with a potential employee and take care to resolve the issues that have arisen. Perhaps you have transportation for those who live far away, or processing is additionally paid. nine0014
Tie bonuses to the period of work in the company. The situation when a cashier gains experience and leaves for another store, where he was offered more loyal conditions, happens all the time. Financial motivation is still one of the most powerful for line personnel. So, if an employer wants to form a really strong team, then it is worth introducing a system of bonuses depending on the duration of work in a particular position.
Recruiter Mathematics
When recruiting, a recruiter needs to take into account a kind of mathematics. According to ManpowerGroup statistics, on average only 8-10% of candidates will meet your requirements. So let’s say you need to hire 50 salespeople. To do this, it is necessary that 5,000 people receive information about the vacancy. In this case, 500 candidates will reach the interview, and only 50 of them will come up. At the same time, it is important to develop your candidate base. Manually, this can be laborious and involves many routine tasks, including cox
wounded numerous resumes. For this, professional recruitment software has long been used. In CleverStaff HR-CRM, you can store thousands of resumes and use the auto-selection function to find those who fit a specific request in a couple of minutes. Interested? Then you are here.
Total
Almost everyone needs line staff. Such employees often perform basic functions in order for the business itself to work according to an established scheme. It can be difficult to close such positions, but following our advice and certain “mathematics” of the selection, there will be everyone. Good luck with your search! nine0005

What do you think unites a doctor, an engineer, a cleaner and a cashier? They have different professions, different employers, working conditions and pay … Read our article: it contains the answer.
Content
The concept of line personnel
Unskilled and qualified line personnel
Difficulties in hiring
Features of line staff management
Let’s imagine the structure of any organization, any running business. At the top is the CEO (head of the company), then there are the heads of departments, employees who perform the bulk of the tasks are subordinate to them. This lower link in the hierarchy is the line staff.
On the example of a school: the principal is at the top, then comes the deputy director (one or more head teachers), teachers and attendants (cleaners, security guards, cooks) report to him. In this structure, teachers and service staff are line staff. nine0005
On the example of the administration: at the top – the head of administration, then – deputy heads, then – department heads and, finally, department employees (accountants, engineers, lawyers, personnel officers) and service personnel (drivers, security guards, couriers). Here, the line staff is the personnel of the departments and the service staff.
That is, the line staff performs that part of the work that can be felt here and now: the architect designed the shopping center, the cleaner washed the floors, the teacher explained the topic of logarithms to the students. Employees in higher positions work with what the line staff has created. nine0005
Unskilled and skilled line personnel
Unskilled work refers to work that does not require special knowledge. It is enough to pass a short internship or a trial period. There are many such candidates among former or current students, pensioners who are looking for a part-time job.
A student is looking for a summer job. He has several vacancies to choose from:
cashier;
seller;
operator;
security guard; nine0014
handyman.
His mother advised him to become a cashier. She herself worked for him when she was on maternity leave.
Any organization needs unskilled workers and regularly recruits them. But the problem is that this is where the biggest turnover of staff is. They know that career growth is almost impossible, so they are ready to immediately change jobs if they promise higher wages or the same earnings, but with better working conditions.
Qualified employees are those who have a special education and a certain level of qualification. Among such professions:
welder;
hairdresser;
builder;
makeup artist;
massage therapist;
sales manager;
driver etc.
These professions already require work experience and even skill: a welder who makes accurate seams and a massage therapist who relieves back pain in one session are highly valued and highly paid.
Highly qualified personnel are employees with higher education:
doctors;
lawyers;
engineers;
teachers;
architects;
economists.
Work experience, recommendations and professionalism are also important here. Career growth is already possible in this category: a teacher can develop into a head teacher, and then become a school principal. An economist in a large company can eventually become a department head and even a deputy general director, lead a business line. Due to this, the search and turnover of highly qualified line personnel is less, but still present. nine0005
Difficulties in hiring
Finding line staff is not as difficult as retaining it. Such employees have a low salary without bonuses, they often consider their work as temporary, so they move from one place to another in the hope of finding the perfect job, for them the search is a common thing. There are plenty of these candidates on the labor market, and the employer knows this, even uses it. Even teachers and doctors at the initial stage of their careers have low salaries, which is why many decide to change their type of activity. Line personnel, especially in the service sector, are less likely to receive bonuses and career advancement. nine0005
Another reason for employee turnover is monotonous work. As a rule, this applies to unqualified personnel. Few people will not get tired of solving crossword puzzles all day, sitting in the place of a security guard or washing the same floor day after day.
Thus, the personnel department of these organizations is always busy. They spin in a continuous wheel: one employee has left, a replacement must be found, another has come, it is necessary to bring him up to date, train him, etc. Questions and answers change cyclically. nine0005
According to Glassdoor for Employers, when selecting a job, line job seekers pay attention to the following aspects:
salary and compensation;
career opportunities;
location;
work-life balance;
company culture and values.
Interesting fact! 10% of vacancies remain with little or no chance of being closed, 20% are posted on websites not to find employees, 40% of employers are looking for people other than those who are written about in vacancies, 70% of responses do not have time to be viewed by employers, but 90% of organizations complain that it is impossible to find employees, and their selection is a heavy burden.
A separate personnel officer was hired in the district hospital, who will deal with the hiring and firing of employees, because the turnover is very high. Cleaners and security guards change almost every month. Doctors and nurses leave less often, but there are still not enough line workers. As a result, the workload of the staff is growing, some can not stand it and quit.
HR specialist conducts interviews several times a month, selection of candidates is his main function. He has another difficult task ahead of him: among these applicants, you need to select those who are interested in the work and will treat it responsibly, and not wait until they offer a better place. That is, you need to find a middle ground between irresponsible applicants who agree to a low level of payment, and reliable candidates who are not satisfied with such an offer. nine0005
The hospital’s HR specialist was also tasked with finding a way to motivate and retain line staff and improve the quality of services provided.
Features of linear staff management
At the beginning of the article, we considered the issue of the linear structure of the organization. It can be seen from it that the line personnel are managed by the heads of departments. Employees obey and follow the instructions of their leader. And he, in turn, has his own boss, to whom he reports. nine0005
Department leaders have the difficult task of being responsible for the actions of others. Due to the high turnover and low motivation of line staff, this is not always easy to do.
The management of the PRMarket advertising agency understands that without stable and motivated employees, you won’t go far. Therefore, the company’s employees have developed a system of motivation: a full social package is issued for skilled workers, bonuses are awarded for the initiative, and salaries increase with each year worked. For all employees in the company, a free lunch and a relaxation room with easy chairs and video games are provided.

FAQs
AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Cascade Park KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience

Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
I enrolled my children when they were six weeks and one-and-a-half years old and they are still students to this day, six years later. Entering, I was very nervous because of my son’s age (six weeks). They understood completely and we formed a very close relationship that we still have. My children were always taken care well of and if there were any problems, I was either spoken to over the phone or alerted when I picked up the kids. My children also formed a close relationship with the staff built on respect and tenderness. Almost every week, the teachers sent home photos of them doing art or just playing which made my day since I had to miss a lot of time with them because of work. I recommend this facility to all of my friends and family in need.
Aleasha A. – KinderCare Parent
I am so thankful for KinderCare at Cascade Park. The before- and after-school hours from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM work out perfectly for my schedule. Some days I can pick up before 4:00 PM, some days after, and I have the flexibility to do that. The center also offers bus transportation to and from the local elementary school, which works out amazingly well. I have seen their little white bus pickup the kids at school on the days I do not use childcare, and the driver is friendly and engaging with the kids.
All my encounters with KinderCare have been very professional, from online payment options and invoicing to the discipline notes from care providers. Occasionally my little one makes bad choices, and so far, they have gently but firmly steered my kid in the right direction. She has explained the clear communication in what she did wrong, and how she could have handled things better, and she seems to be retaining the information well on corrections, and feels that disciplinary measures, time outs, etc, have been very fair.
My kid loves KinderCare. On a snow day, I was excused from work early. I went to pick my child up, about two hours after I dropped her off. She was having so much fun, she asked me to go away, and let her stay at KinderCare for two more hours. It’s interaction like this, that gives me confidence in their caring loving environment. If it was not FUN, she wouldn’t want to go. From optional cooking classes to art projects, they keep my little one entertained.
Finally, I mentioned to the care provider staff that my little one has limited hearing. They have made every accommodation to make sure they communicate successfully with her, and she is getting the information okay. She says they check with her and help her as needed when she has issues.

I had my daughter when I was 16. I needed to go back to high school but I hated the thought of leaving my daughter at a daycare. I toured a few different places and they all treated me like a kid and not a parent. From the moment I walked into the Cascade Park KinderCare eight years ago, I have always been treated with the utmost respect and my daughter has received the best care. I moved away for about a year or so, and when I came back, I was excited to learn there was an opening in the school-age class. My daughter’s first day was emotional–she was crying, teachers were crying, I was crying! They have been there for my daughter’s first everything! It is the best feeling knowing that my daughter is somewhere she is loved and truly cared for. I love all the staff there and I am so glad they are our family! When raising a child it takes a village and KinderCare is my village!
Lady Michelle D. – KinderCare Parent
When we decided to put our daughter into child care, we were worried of the unknown. We asked ourselves the same questions as we bounced around looking for care. “We don’t really know her caregivers. Will she get the attention and care she needs? Should one of us just stay home to take care of her? What if she cries all day?” But after taking a tour at KinderCare, we immediately felt welcomed and reassured. All of our concerns and questions were addressed.
Everyday at drop off and pick up we are greeted by an amazing group of people who take the time to connect with us and have us leaving with a smile. Our daughter’s teachers give us detailed summaries of her day and keep us updated of her developmental progress and milestones. We enjoy the emails and frequent communication with KinderCare. We feel close and connected to our child while we are away at work. It makes the time a part less stressful and worrisome knowing that our child is in a caring environment.
Kimber-Lee B. – KinderCare Parent
My son and daughter are in the discovery toddler and toddler classes. Prior to starting at KinderCare, my daughter was almost two years old and did not have much of a vocabulary. Honestly, we were worried. Since starting here, in less than a year, my daughter has learned her alphabet can count to 20 in English AND Spanish and talks in full sentences! Cascade Park KinderCare has changed my kids’ lives! They come home everyday calling out their teachers by name, showing me projects they did, and things they learned. My daughter now won’t let anyone forget she gets to go to Pre-K some days because she is doing such a good job! I truly think the staff here are genuine people they will never forget!
Kashaka C. – KinderCare Parent
My son, Garrett, started going to Cascade Park KinderCare when he was just under three months old. I was very nervous about leaving him anywhere but the time had come for me to go back to work. Over the past two years the relationship Garrett and I have developed with each and every one of the staff members is priceless! He is learning every single day about colors, numbers, shapes, sharing and playing well with others. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Cascade Park KinderCare to anyone that is looking for a GREAT place to take their child. I already have in fact. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE at KinderCare for teaching and loving Garrett.

I put my daughter Rachael, in Cascade Park Kindercare when she was one years old. This daycare is the only daycare she has every been to, and I wouldn’t change that for anything in the world. She was a baby when she went in and now is a five-years-old who is about to start Kindergarten this upcoming school year.
I have felt the love that the teachers and directors have for my child. Rachael literally was raise by most of the people in that daycare, which is a great feeling to know that there are people who care for your child’s wellbeing. They helped mold her into the big girl she is today. They taught her what it means to share with other children, how to be kind to her friends, and to have compassion for the people around her. Also, they have helped show her what it means to just have fun and be a kid! Rachael went through every stage while being at Kindercare, like from not listening or taking naps to being the teacher’s helper and being friends to the little toddler kids. No matter what phase she has had, the teachers were always right there communicating with me about how she was doing. Everyone would calm me down by explaining that her behavior was not my fault, but a normal stage for kids her age.
Furthermore, it is always amazing when your child comes home talking about what they have learned that day. She has learned about the moon and planets, how to plant grass, and which animals are endangered. She has learned to sing the rainbow song, that has taught her to know the colors of the rainbow in Spanish.
Kindercare has always been a part of my daughter’s life for so many years, so it is such a bittersweet feeling knowing that she has grown up so much that she is will be saying good-bye to that part of her life this fall. I would recommend Cascade Park Kindercare to anyone who is looking for a home away from home for their children. These teachers will love them, teach them, laugh with them and grow with them, and that is a wonderful feeling to know your kids are safe when you are not with them. I just want to say thank you again for loving Rachael and helping her grow!
Nicole S. – KinderCare Parent
My son Griffin started going to the Cascade Park Kindercare when he was 3 months old. The teachers made his transition so easy. They truly care about each individual and their development. I’m blessed to have found a great place for my son to learn and grow. We LOVE each and every one of the teachers there.
Thank for all your support with Griffins development!
Jamie M. – KinderCare Parent
Having to send my children to be with someone other than family was unsettling at first. I knew KinderCare was the place for us because from the moment you walk in the environment is very welcoming and they’ve made us feel like family. My kids have learned so many things and the teachers help me reach goals with them such as counting and potty training. Communication is important and the measures to extend how my child’s day was, every teacher I’ve encountered has met that criteria for me and I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to help me care for my kids.

Vancouver: attractions, places of interest.
Vancouver is a Canadian port city located on the Pacific coast. This metropolis is one of the ten best places in terms of quality of life. In this article, we will look at photos and descriptions of Vancouver attractions. It is the greenest city in Canada.
Some statistics
The city of Vancouver (Canada) is located in the province of British Columbia. Its area is 114.67 km 2 . The population of the metropolis is more than 600 thousand people. According to 2016 data, over 2.4 million people live within the urban agglomeration. This metropolis is relatively young, it was founded in the 19th century. Its name is associated with the name of the famous English explorer and navigator George Vancouver. The sights of the city attract many tourists. Therefore, it is necessary to dwell in detail on the most interesting of them.
Stanley Park
Perhaps the most striking attraction of Vancouver is the world-famous Stanley Park. Both locals and tourists like to spend time here. The park is located almost in the center of the city and covers an area of more than 1000 acres. This corner of nature got its name in honor of Lord Stanley Preston. This man put a lot of effort into making Canada a prosperous country.
The park looks very well maintained. There are trails and paths for hiking. Their total length is over 250 km. The longest trail runs along the perimeter of the park, its length is 8.8 km.
Photos of Vancouver attractions are presented in the article. This city really has a lot to offer. What is Stanley Park worth. Lakes and ponds of artificial origin, fields and grounds for sporting events, green spaces – all this creates a magnificent landscape.
World of Science Museum
Science lovers will love visiting this Vancouver landmark. The building was erected in 1986, and it was intended for the Expo. Subsequently, the building was used to create the World of Science museum. It consists of 6 pavilions, which are dedicated to various topics. It will be interesting for both children and adults. Throughout the day, museum workers demonstrate fascinating achievements in the field of technology to visitors, introduce them to the laws of physics and other sciences.
Aquarium
An equally fascinating place for a pleasant pastime is the aquarium. Its opening took place in 1956. Visitors can see a wide variety of marine life and other animals and birds here. It is especially interesting to watch the pets of the aquarium while they are feeding. This Vancouver landmark attracts many tourists. There are dolphins and sharks, huge turtles, octopuses, harbor seals and even penguins. Up to 300 species of fish, about 30 thousand invertebrates, 56 representatives of the world of reptiles and amphibians live in the aquarium. You can also see about 60 species of birds and mammals.
Granville Island Shopping District
The Granville Island shopping district is located on a peninsula in Falls Creek. About 100 years ago it was an industrial center. Plants and factories were concentrated here, as well as several sawmills. Today, the face of the region has changed significantly. The central part is occupied by the city market, the area of which is over 4. 6 thousand km 2 . There are no chain stores in this area, all outlets are unique and have a varied assortment. In the city market you can buy fruits and vegetables, fresh pastries and bread.
When shopping with the family, it is worth visiting the Children’s Market, which is located nearby. Also in the Granville Island area there are:
a large marina where yachts are moored;
stylish modern hotels;
theaters;
Arts Umbrella dance studio;
University of Art and Design, named after artist Emily Carr;
art galleries;
water park open from May to September;
Falls Creek Community Center and more.
Sea Market is located not far from the city market. Here you can buy various fishing equipment, materials for the construction and repair of yachts, and much more. There is also a themed museum.
Sun Yat Sen Chinese Garden
If you’re looking to get in touch with nature or just want to relax and enjoy the scenic scenery, you should definitely visit this attraction in the city of Vancouver. Sun Yat-sen’s garden is unique. It is the only Chinese garden located outside of China. It was brought up pretty quickly. Construction lasted from 1985 to 1986. The Chinese Garden was named after the founder of the Kuomintang Party, Sun Yat-sen, who was posthumously named the father of the nation.
Canadian specialists and two craftsmen from China worked on the creation of the park area. The garden is made in the classical style of the Ming Dynasty. The designs do not contain fasteners such as glue, nails and screws.
The garden is divided into two zones: paid, where excursions for tourists are held, and free. The bright red roofs of the pagodas stand out beautifully against the backdrop of green spaces. There are small shops where you can buy original souvenirs from China.
Capilano Suspension Bridge
Capilano Suspension Bridge is another Vancouver landmark. In Canada, it is considered the longest. Its length is 136 m, and the height reaches 70 m. The bridge stretches over the seething Capilano River and received the same name. The very name of the river is associated with the name of one of the Indian leaders who led the tribes that once lived on these lands.
The bridge was built in 1889 by Grant McKay, a civil engineer from Scotland. Cedar boards and hemp ropes were used as building materials. At 19In 03, a reconstruction was made: the ropes were replaced with metal cables. The bridge was rebuilt in 1956. Interestingly, this attraction is privately owned, so to walk across the bridge, you need to purchase a ticket: an adult will cost $38 excluding taxes, and a child $12. Up to 800 thousand tourists come here every year.
Grouse Mountain
Grouse Mountain is a must if you decide to visit the city of Vancouver in Canada. The attraction is quite popular among tourists. The mountain is located quite close to the city, you can get to it from the center of the metropolis by car in just 15 minutes. The height of Grouse Mountain is 1251 meters, but the entire tourist infrastructure is located at the level of 275 meters. With the help of the funicular, you can climb to a height of 900 m. A unique and breathtaking view opens up here: the ocean, and the city itself, lie in full view.
For lovers of extreme sports, there are a number of entertainments:
descent from the mountain on a rope cable;
snowboarding;
skiing;
paragliding and more.
Gestown Area
This area is one of the oldest in the city. Its architecture seems to take the visitor to another era. Narrow streets with numerous passages and gateways serve as a reminder of the once long reign of Queen Victoria. Small shops and restaurants are located in cozy courtyards. The main attraction of the area is the steam clock.
Skyscraper Harbor Center
The most famous skyscraper in Vancouver is the Harbor Center tower, which reaches a height of 177 m. It is from here that you can take a good look at all the beauties of Vancouver:
Barrard Pacific Bay;
numerous city parks;
island of the same name;
quiet bay;
various architectural structures.
Other attractions
This is an amazing city that will be of great interest to tourists. In addition to the above attractions, here you can visit one of the largest art galleries in Canada, the building of which occupies an entire block in the central part of the city.
Those who like to soak up the sun should visit Kitsilano Beach. On its territory there is a long swimming pool with heated sea water. The beach is equipped with sports grounds where vacationers can play basketball or volleyball. There are also many playgrounds for children.
BBC Place Stadium is another unique attraction in this Canadian city. The Winter Olympics and the Paralympic Games in 2010 were held here, grandiose concerts were held by such world stars as Michael Jackson and Madonna.
