What The Parents Say
I was terrified at the idea of leaving my 2 year old anywhere (Isn’t every mom?)! Long story short I did over a 3 hour commute daily to leave my child safely at Grandma’s house for 2 long years. Well I was over that. Just as I made up my mind to start the search for a near by daycare, ABC Little School (North Hills location) opened up. I checked it out & got a full tour felt amazingly welcomed & got to see that every single thing was brand new! New toys, new playground, remodeled classrooms. I met some of the staff & everyone seemed really nice & professional but most of all patient, which is what’s needed when it comes to kids!

My little one has grown leaps and bounds from day one attending! The staff is world class, this facility is INCREDIBLE and clean! ABC Little School uses the latest technology to keep you up to date with pictures and everything you want and need to know about the day your child is having at school. We LOVE ABC Little School!

I basically grew up here and I loved every moment of it. When Myra first started her daycare out in Los Angeles .Between The kids, the movies, the toys, the food and snacks, it was all so great and fun. There was a new adventure everyday it was great, I’m now a father of two. Which I bring my daughters to. The adults working here are all so loving and kind, and really do love children! It’s a really safe place to leave your kids.

I’m so grateful to have found ABC Little School for my son. When I first enrolled him last August at 2, he was barely talking, hadn’t been socialized yet, and threw tantrums nearly all day, every day. Within weeks of starting school he was using manners, he has practically no meltdowns at home or in public, and knows his colors, numbers, letters, songs, etc. He’s even fully potty trained and sleeping without a pacifier. All in 6 months!

During my initial tour I was even more meticulous about checking for cleanliness, updated play sets, updated educational material, condition of classrooms, etc. I have to admit as a parent you always want to pick what is best for your child, I was concerned about some of the negative reviews, so I took it upon myself to make that visit. I can tell you off the bat I did not feel that children were be dehydrated, there is water fountains assessable in the playground as well as fresh water jugs in each classroom. I received a warm kind welcome well on my tour with Mrs. Stephanie and Miss Jackie, all my question were answered.

I have two kids who attend and attended ABC Little School …I am one of those extremely over protective over anxious parents and I did a lot of a leg work before I decided to send my little ones to be in the care of total strangers . I have been over the moon thrilled with the absolute care and love that my son …who is now in kindergarten, and now my daughter who is currently in the school receives… The facility is kept beautifully cleaned. The supplies are plentiful and if quality . The fact that every teacher knows your actual child is a very great sign. They are warm and welcoming

I’ve had 3 kids go through preschool here! My youngest will be in her last year coming this fall. Although I highly value a strong academic experience, that’s not why I love ABC. I love ABC because they genuinely LOVE my kids. Even when my 3rd grader comes back to visit, she is remembered by name. The kids get a warm welcome whenever they walk through the door. Most importantly, I trust that the kids are safe. If there was ever an emergency, I know they would be well taken care. I can’t say enough good things about Stephanie, the director, and ALL the teachers. If you want your kids to be loved and safe, then I suggest you take a look at ABC.

Gorgeous long dark hair is achievable. First of all, you need to cure all your hair problems — split ends, dry flakes, dandruff, as they are very visible on brunette locks. To prevent your long dark brown hair from fading and looking dull you need a good color preserving shampoo and conditioner. Minimize heat styling, include SPF protection into your hair routine, and give blue shampoos a try. Apart from making homemade hair masks, plan pro salon treatments (Keratin, mesotherapy, and Olaplex if you highlight your hair). All this sounds more complicated than it actually is, and the result will be luscious!

Fashion trends dictate the best hairstyles of 2021. While some hairstyles are suitable for blondes, brunettes are better off with others. Of course, there are many universal haircuts that go with any hair color. Burning black color attracts attention, and in combination with a creative haircut, it completely captivates the eye. What haircuts will be fashionable in the new season?

Pixie
The refined and elegant pixie cut continues fall in love with girls all over the world. This option is for sports and even for a secular party. Pixies are ideal for bold and active girls. This haircut is not for those who are used to being always on the sidelines. If you can’t sit still and you’re the life of the party in any setting, this is something you should definitely try. Regardless of age, pixies are a creative solution.
Classic living forever, simply cannot but be on this list of the best hairstyles of the new season. Despite the fact that she gained popularity a long time ago, she continues to be at the top of fashion. And how many different options you can create with a caret! Even the most ordinary even square can make you a queen. Do you want variety? Apply a bob, an elongated version or a graduation with a bob.
Bob certainly deserves a lot of attention. Short playful or elongated flirtatious? However, it’s up to you to decide. And the classics and asymmetry will do their job. The hairstyle will perfectly smooth out the clear contours of the face, and you will not need much time to style it. Also, the bob easily solves the problem of thin hair. An unsurpassed volume is provided.
Many girls like this hairstyle, first of all, due to its volume. We get it thanks to the multi-layered curls. The cascade gives the strands softness, airiness. It is good for straight and naturally curly hair. Changing the image with him is easy. For fatal brunettes, this will be a great advantage.
Asymmetric haircuts are varied and sometimes surprise with a variety of shapes. This is the perfect option for creating beautiful looks that are in line with the beauty industry. Asymmetry is far from classic, so it will easily provide an outstanding image. In 2021, such haircuts will become very relevant.

Ragged haircuts got their uniqueness due to thinning strands. It’s unusual but stylish. Especially, girls with thick heavy curls should pay attention to them.
Could we improve America by treating 2-year-olds better?
Educare Arizona classmates Nathan Jaramillo, far left, Esteban Cuevas and Melissa Gordillo “read” books during free time in their toddler classroom. Children begin learning basic literacy skills, like which direction to turn the pages, around age 2. Lillian Mongeau/The Hechinger Report Credit: Lillian Mongeau/The Hechinger Report
This story is part of a series that looks at what makes the 2-year-old year so critical and what could be done to better support toddlers in America. The series was produced by The Hechinger Report and Columbia Journalism School’s Teacher Project, nonprofit news organizations focused on education coverage, in partnership with Slate Magazine. Sign up for our newsletter. Or view the whole series.
In Wichita, Kansas, single mother Tiffany McNitt sometimes cries after dropping her kids, aged 2 and 3, at their babysitter’s house on her way to work. It’s not just that she’ll miss them—she worries her children aren’t learning anything and are already falling behind.
This story also appeared in Slate
In Seattle, Tori Gottlieb and her husband agonized over spending 25 percent of their income on day care for their 2-year-old daughter last fall. They didn’t see how they could afford to have the second child they knew they wanted.
Parents dread the terrible twos, but what makes the year so tough for many families isn’t just tantrums in supermarket aisles or toilet-training disasters. It’s the difficulty of finding safe, high-quality child care in a country that offers parents limited choices of questionable quality and little guidance on how to make those choices. This neglect could have far-reaching consequences—research shows that a toddler’s daily environment can have a lasting effect on her brain structure for a lifetime.
“A child’s experiences not only determine what information enters her brain, but also influence how her brain processes information,” explains a succinct and well-documented summary of the first three years of brain development posted by the Tennessee-based Urban Child Institute.
Still, more than half of infants and toddlers in the United States spend some part of their day being cared for by someone other than a parent, according to the National Center for Education Statistics. And at both the federal and state level, the U.S. spends almost nothing on helping American families care for their collective 3.9 million 2-year-olds. The 2-year-old year is the doughnut hole in the early education system: Infants and their mothers living in poverty may receive some amount of support through programs like nurse home visiting, and 3- and 4-year-olds begin to have the option to attend public preschool programs. But next to nothing is done to provide access to child care for 2-year-olds or to regulate it. And while higher-income families can mitigate some of this lack by opening their wallets, care for toddlers is hard to come by and sometimes prohibitively expensive even for the middle class.
The plight of 2-year-olds is part of the larger issue of how the country deals with early education in general, but it also represents a specific gap in the paltry system we do have.
“We fundamentally haven’t made a decision about whether early childhood education is a public or private good,” said Rhian Evans Allvin, chief executive officer of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, an organization dedicated to improving child care.
62 percent – percentage of 2-year-olds who have a working mother (U.S. Census Bureau)
Except, we have decided. By not providing more taxpayer-funded support, we’ve all tacitly agreed that parents are on their own when it comes to finding care for their children, at least until they turn 5 and head to kindergarten. That’s far later than most developed countries start paying attention.
And it’s in spite of the fact that the latest brain science backs up what parents have known intuitively for ages: The early years consist of some of the most important moments in child development. The size of a child’s vocabulary at age 2 can predict his academic and behavioral abilities at the start of kindergarten. School readiness at the start of kindergarten can affect a child’s ability to read by third grade. Kids who read by third grade are more likely to graduate from high school. People who graduate from high school have higher earnings and are less likely to end up in jail. Parents who aren’t in jail and who have the capacity to earn a living wage are more likely to have children with larger vocabularies by age 2.
Of course, the care a child receives at age 2 is not the only factor determining her life trajectory. But attentive caregivers who offer the space, time, and materials for 2-year-olds to explore everything their world has to offer can make a significant difference for children at this age. Caregivers who sing with kids, ask them questions, encourage them to create, and keep them safe and well-fed build children’s skills and self-confidence. This contributes to getting them ready to tackle preschool and kindergarten successfully. Model programs boast all of these features, but given the current landscape, most such programs are available only to those who can afford to pay for the privilege. High-quality, center-based care rivals the cost of public college tuition in many states.

Currently, funding to help the poor afford care is insufficient and funding to help the middle class is all but nonexistent. Just 0.3 percent of our gross domestic product is spent on public early childhood education and care for children age 5 and younger, compared with an average of 0.7 percent for the European Union, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which tracks international economic trends. We also spend about half as much per child as the average for EU countries. And most of that money goes to 4- and 5-year-olds in public preschool and kindergarten, not to younger children.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 62 percent of 2-year-olds have a working mother, usually a sign that the family is seeking child care. Yet only about 6 percent of 2-year-olds are cared for with funding provided by Early Head Start or the Child Care and Development Block Grant program—the two primary federal programs offering child care support for families of toddlers. (There are also some child care assistance funds available through the current iteration of welfare, known as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, but data on exactly what goes to child care, as opposed to other needs, can be hard to pull apart as each state has different distribution formulas.)
The result of our minimal investment in 2-year-olds is a stunning lack of access to affordable, high-quality care for families at every level of the socioeconomic ladder. Parents at all levels often feel they have ended up in care situations forced by circumstance rather than selected by choice.
Moreover, with parents unable to vote with their feet due to the short supply, private providers have little incentive to keep quality high and states hesitate to make regulations too arduous, lest they end up tightening the market even more. Whether private providers are nonprofits, like the YMCA or a local church, or for-profits, like KinderCare or Bright Horizons, the programs have to cover their facility and labor costs. Toddlers require more adult supervision than preschoolers, making 2-year-old care significantly more expensive than 4-year-old care. Many private child care programs don’t bother with younger children, since it’s far less lucrative than care for older children.
Of 3- and 4-year-old children in child care, 41 percent receive private-sector care rather than publicly funded care. (In this case, 3- and 4-year-olds are the only similar age category for which this data is available.) Since so much public funding goes to older preschoolers, the private sector is likely an even bigger player in the 2-year-old care market.
“We fundamentally haven’t made a decision about whether early childhood education is a public or private good.”
In large part because of the lack of options, hundreds of thousands of young children of all income levels are spending much of their days in insufficient or even unsafe conditions while their parents work; 75 percent of infants in center care and 93 percent in home-based care are in low- or mediocre-quality care settings, according to Zero to Three, a nonprofit advocacy group focused on young children. Those numbers likely hold for toddlers because nonparental care options don’t increase significantly until age 3.
“Care is lagging behind, so kids are lagging behind,” said Patricia Cole, senior director of federal policy at Zero to Three. “It’s a pretty threadbare system.”
Advocates like Cole say the time to invest is now.
“This is not something that we don’t know how to do and we keep trying different things and it doesn’t work,” she said. The effort to provide more and better care has “never been given the resources to do what it needs to do and reach all the people it needs to reach.”
The payoff for changing that status quo could be huge. Nobel prize–winning economist James Heckman has shown that the highest monetary return on investment comes before children even start preschool—that is, the more a society spends on its youngest citizens, the more it earns back over time by helping prepare kids for self-sufficient lives in adulthood. Economists’ estimates of the actual return range from $3 to $16 dollars in savings on public services and revenue from income taxes for every dollar spent on early childhood education.
McNitt and Gottlieb, who sit at different points on the economic spectrum, agreed that more government assistance with the cost of high-quality child care would have helped them.
McNitt qualifies for direct financial aid to help her cover the cost of care for Alexis, 2, and Coltin, 3, but there is so little funding available that she is unlikely to receive it. She’s currently on a waiting list to get Alexis a spot at her local branch of Early Head Start. The federally funded care and education program only has enough money to serve 6 percent of eligible children nationally. Coltin, 3, has a slightly better chance of getting into Head Start, the program for 3- and 4-year-olds, which is able to serve 31 percent of eligible children nationally.
While she waits, McNitt pays her cousin $200 of her $1,080 monthly wages to watch her children. She says her cousin is “good with kids,” but she’s not sure that’s enough.
“I don’t want them to just be watched,” said McNitt, who considers Head Start her first choice for care. “I want them to be smart, to work their brains.”
Coltin McNitt, age 2 in this photo, sits on his couch with a book at his home in Wichita, Kan. Colton has been on the waitlist for the local Head Start program, which only has enough funding to serve 6 percent of eligible children nationally. Mothers like McNitt, who do not have a college degree, are actually significantly more likely to consider learning experiences available at a care provider very important than mothers with a postsecondary education, according to data from the National Center for Education Statistics. Without those Head Start spots, though, McNitt’s choices are limited. She earns $7.50 an hour testing car and boat harnesses to support herself and her children and to bring some money in for her ailing father. Recently, she was searching for a place with more books and other activities for Alexis and Coltin; one nearby center told her it would cost $800 a month to send both children, financially impossible for her.
As many as half of working parents chose informal, unregulated care for their young children, according to a 2016 study of the cost of child care by Child Care Aware, a nonprofit organization that tracks child care trends and advocates for more generous child care policies. Infants and toddlers are most likely to receive informal care and a majority of care providers are relatives, especially grandmothers.
“I don’t want them to just be watched. I want them to be smart, to work their brains.”
While McNitt’s cousin and many of the grandmothers watching young children are probably perfectly up to the task of keeping children safe and fed, research has shown that informal care is less likely to prepare children for school than licensed home-based or center-based care.
Most informal care is entirely unregulated, meaning that quality varies widely. Twenty-seven states allow fewer than five unrelated children to be watched in a home by a care provider with no license or training, according to Child Care Aware. Only 11 states require a license for anyone receiving compensation to watch even one child who is not their own.
Gottlieb and her husband are not eligible for any public assistance, despite the fact that child care for two children, even with the sibling discount for their second child, would gobble up nearly 40 percent of their family income. They ultimately decided to have a second child anyway. The new baby arrived this fall, making them a family of four. Before she came, they thought they might be able to find a less expensive care option than the day care their older daughter attends (which they love). But Gottlieb said there was nothing else nearby that took infants and met their standards as a place that would provide their children with the safety, nurture, and educational experience they were counting on.
Melissa Gordillo, left, brushes her teeth after breakfast while teacher Roya Mohammadzadeh helps Melissa’s classmate, Shailey Ortiz, in the toddler room at Educare Arizona in Phoenix. Lillian Mongeau/The Hechinger Report Credit: Lillian Mongeau/The Hechinger Report
Having one parent stay home wouldn’t have solved the money problem, she said, because the cost of care was enough that it would have nearly erased either single income meaning they’d be stuck trying to live on half their income regardless. Plus, they’d be sacrificing retirement savings and possible raises for however long one of them was out of work. They’d also be more reliant on one person’s job not evaporating in a surprise round of layoffs or some other unpredictable situation—a riskier proposition on a tight budget. Moreover, Gottlieb said, both she and her husband enjoy their work and would prefer to stay employed. They looked into taking a home equity loan to cover the extra day care costs but were hesitant to put themselves further in debt. Finally, her father offered to cover the cost of the youngest child’s tuition for the 19 months the two children will be in care at the same time.
“We’re basically getting subsidized care,” Gottlieb said, “but from our family. ”
“Care is lagging behind, so kids are lagging behind. It’s a pretty threadbare system.”
Gottlieb and her husband are not alone in struggling to pay for child care, despite earning solid middle-class salaries. The cost of private, center-based child care varies wildly—the same infant could cost $17,082 per year in Massachusetts and just $5,045 per year in Mississippi—so it’s impossible to talk about prices on a national level. (Though infant care costs slightly more, it is a good proxy for 2-year-old care costs, which aren’t tracked independently.) Still, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has determined that “affordable” care is care that costs less than 7 percent of a family’s income; for a family making $100,000 annually, that would be $583 a month. Only seven states had average rates that low for center-based infant care (22 met that bar for home-based infant care), according to Child Care Aware.
Of course, most families don’t earn $100,000 a year—$59,039 is the national household median income. In 49 states and the District of Columbia, center-based infant care is unaffordable for those earning the state median income. And even home-based infant care, which is cheaper, is still unaffordable in 45 states and the District of Columbia.
The current child care tax credit does little to reduce the burden by crediting middle class families for just 20 to 35 percent of $3,000 per child, a fraction of annual child care costs in most states. Plus, the credit can only be used for a maximum of two children so the largest possible kickback is $2,100. It’s also nonrefundable, meaning it doesn’t help those who owe no taxes.
As a candidate, Donald Trump proposed increasing the child care tax care credit, but that increase was not included in his administration’s September tax overhaul proposal, nor has it appeared in House or Senate proposals. Instead, Republicans are now suggesting an increase to the child tax credit, which is a benefit to anyone with a child and which currently maxes out at $1,000 depending on the taxpayer’s income bracket. Critics have pointed out that such a change will only help families making enough money to owe taxes, and unless the increase is significant, it won’t even help them much either.

Evans Allvin said her organization is generally in favor of using the tax code to reduce the cost burden on working families. Still, she said, “Changing the tax code alone will not close the gap. It will take a sustained investment from the public sector to bring to scale young kids having access to high-quality early learning.”
Most new parents sitting at the kitchen table trying to make the child care math work are millennials (born between about 1980 and 2000) who have already shown a taste for more European-style family policies. Highly educated young workers at tech companies like Google and Facebook have been part of the driving force behind the increasingly generous parental leave packages that have come to be the norm at big, corporate firms competing for top talent. Those benefits haven’t reached most of the working population, however, and hourly workers as a whole tend to have no legal guarantee of parental leave, let alone help paying for child care.
0.3 percent of GDP – amount the U.S. spends on early childhood education and care for children age 5 and under (OECD)
Still, millennials might be the generation to tip the scale in favor of more government support for young children by pushing for a change in state and federal regulations, said Kris Perry, executive director of the First Five Years Fund, an organization dedicated to educating politicians on both sides of the aisle about early childhood policy.
“Millennials are the people holding [politicians] accountable in another cycle or two,” Perry said. “If they all want something, it will emerge.”
While advocates push for increasing the child care tax credit, expanding Early Head Start, and providing family-friendly policies that could move the needle on both access and quality, some educators are pulling together brick-and-mortar solutions.
In one innovative Phoenix school, long rows of classrooms enclose a central courtyard complete with a playground, a garden, and a bronze sculpture of a lizard to climb on. In the toddler classroom, Victoria, 3, spent an April day eating breakfast, playing house, comforting a friend with an “owie,” listening to several stories read out loud, blowing bubbles outside, finger painting, and, finally, taking a nice long nap. This is what life is like for children enrolled in Educare, a program that provides free care to children living in poverty from infancy through preschool. The program, which has 21 sites around the country, has been lauded as a model of high-quality early childhood education.

“We’re one of the new programs that focused on the understanding that learning begins at birth,” said Jessie Rasmussen, president of the Buffett Early Childhood Fund. Rasmussen’s foundation is one of the leading organizers and funders of Educare. “More than just serving the kids in our schools every day, we want to be a platform for change—demonstrating the need for this kind of care.”
In every city where the program exists, the national organization partners with Head Start, the state, or local preschool program, and other community-based stakeholders work together to cover the cost of a year’s tuition—an average of $22,000, with significant regional variation.
Educare keeps quality high by offering ongoing professional development, engaging families to extend learning opportunities at home, and using data to inform classroom practice. And it works. The results of a decade long study show that children who start in Educare by age 2 improve their vocabulary and self-control and have more involved parents when they head to kindergarten at age 5. Educare students, including English language learners, outperformed their low-income peers on vocabulary assessments—and the earlier they started at Educare, the better they did on the assessments.
$22,000 – average amount spent per year on children enrolled in Educare, a model program for young children living in poverty (actual amount varies by region)
Alejandra Nava, the mother of Esteban, 3, said the Phoenix-based Educare was a huge help to her. Her five older children had no such option, she said, and she can see that it is making a difference for Esteban. He has learned how to conduct himself in a classroom, improved at taking turns, and speaks more clearly. And Nava, who earns some money selling tamales, now has time on her own to buy groceries, go to doctor appointments, and keep up the house. As a result, she said she is able to spend more focused time with Esteban when he is with her.
“I’m very thankful to this program,” Nava said in Spanish. She has also taken some of the English and computer classes offered on site. “It’s a good benefit for all the parents.”
Educare is tiny, serving fewer than 5,000 children nationally. To provide such a program to every 2-year-old in the country would cost somewhere in the ballpark of $85.8 billion. We currently spend $634 billion total on elementary and secondary public education. (Of course, not every child between 5 and 18 attends public school, but about 50.7 million of them do.)
The chance of finding the level of national political will that would compel lawmakers to spend such a massive amount of taxpayer money any time soon is about the same as the chance that your favorite 2-year-old memorizes a Shakespearean sonnet tomorrow. But if some change isn’t made to how we treat this important, and oft ignored, age group, we could pay the price … eventually.
“We talk about the American dream,” Evans Allvin said. “You work hard, you put in an effort and you have the opportunity to be anything you want. Without the investment in early learning, that’s not happening right now.”

TODDLER PRESCHOOL IMPORTANT INFO
Our preschool and daycare center uses a holistic approach to help your child grow. We focus on all areas of childhood development in the Yellow Sunshines preschool program — intellectual, social-emotional, and physical development is incorporated into everything we do.
Curriculum
Adventures in Learning knows that academic learning can and should start at an early age. We implement a curriculum that begins working with letters and language, counting and numbers, shapes, colors, and cognitive skills (such as practicing paying attention, thinking, reasoning, and imagining). Your child will also continue working on their social-emotional growth by practicing positive interactions with other students.
Every lesson we teach is designed to be engaging and fun! We incorporate art, sensory activities, music, and movement into each and every day. Our licensed caregivers know how much energy your toddler has, and we make sure our lessons are developmentally appropriate for this age group.
Playtime
We know how essential playtime is for kids. Not only do children love to play, but it’s an important aspect of their growth and development. Practicing social and emotional skills, using imagination and creativity, getting physical exercise — all of these playtime components play a vital role in your child’s life (and their future). When your child comes to preschool and daycare at Adventures in Learning, they’ll work on all of these skills and have fun doing so.
Independent Practice
Growing in independence, learning to navigate the world on their own, while also building strong social skills are incredibly important at this age. Your toddler will practice sharing and taking turns, and continue focusing on certain self-help skills as well. Some of the areas you can expect your child to grow in include:
Self-dressing
Washing hands
Cleaning up their messes (throwing away trash, etc.)
Using their words
Listening and following directions
Making friends and managing positive relationships
Forming a sense of identity and sel
With Adventures in Learning, your toddler will not only be in the best possible care, they’ll be guided and encouraged in their development — helping them both in the present and the future. These are some of the most important years of growth in your child’s life. Make sure your young one is with the right preschool — enroll them with Adventures in Learning today.

developmental activities at home with mom, weekly plan
Developmental activities for children 2-3 years old play a big role in the further passage of the educational process. Properly constructed activities will help the child to more easily adapt among peers. Babies who are regularly engaged with at an early age are better trained and more creatively developed.
Basic principles of working with a child of 2 years old
Parents do not always have the opportunity to send their child to kindergarten from the age of two. In such cases, it is recommended to organize training and creative activities at home on your own. It is important to note that all exercises must be performed in a playful way. It is categorically impossible to force kids to do something without desire. In the future, this can completely discourage the desire to learn.
Lessons from 2 years old
Lessons for toddlers 2-3 years old are very easy to organize on your own. To do this, there are a huge number of educational games, didactic materials that allow you to diversify activities. Any lesson should be bright, interesting, deliver only positive emotions. Children immediately lose interest as soon as he realizes that he is being forced.
A two-year-old child and the peculiarities of his thinking
Psychologists say that the second year of life for children is a period of crisis. They begin to actively study the world around them, to realize the difficulties that it can bring them.
Note! The task of parents is to help the child to overcome the crisis period.
Parents often make a big mistake, believing that at the age of two it is not worth teaching a child anything, because he will not understand. But when they begin to educate him, it turns out that time has been lost. In the first five years of a child’s life, the foundations of education are laid. The most important years are 1.5-2.
At the age of two, the child should speak. Thanks to this, the development of his self-consciousness is accelerated. It is through verbal communication that he receives most of the information that is necessary for development. It is important for parents during this period to pay as much attention as possible to the formation of speech. At the age of one and a half years, the baby already knows how to call a spade a spade. By the age of two, he already develops the ability to combine up to three words into a phrase.
Important! When a child is in his third year, his visual-active thinking changes to visual-figurative. It differs in that all actions with material objects are replaced by images. The internal development of thinking is based on the formation of concepts.
By the end of the second year, children begin the period of “why-why”. The child becomes persistent, he demands an answer to the question posed. The attitude towards the received answer is already being expressed. At the age of three, the baby begins to see himself from the outside, he is already able to control his behavior.
Features of development
Developing activities at home with mom, exercises for every day
The task of parents is to spend as much time as possible with the child, to organize his leisure. First of all, you need to start classes with hand motility. It is necessary to captivate the baby with the construction of houses from cubes. You should start with the simplest shapes, gradually complicating them. It is important to constantly talk with children during the game, to explain each action. There must be praise.
Children between the ages of two and three show great interest in household chores. Don’t be discouraged from helping your mom. You can offer the crumbs to sweep or wipe the dust on their own. You should always offer your child to help their parents. If this is not done, at an older age you will have to force him.
Some parents prefer to hire professional nannies to take care of their children. This is a big mistake. A baby at an early age really needs to communicate with his mother. Any exciting game unites and brings parents and children closer. It is very useful to play with the whole family.
Important! It is recommended not just to select activities, but to focus on certain abilities of the child. It is best to alternate creative games with outdoor ones. It is important to observe the time of the classes, they should be no more than twenty minutes. It is still very difficult for children to concentrate on one subject for a long time.
Activities with mom
Developing baby’s speech
At two years old, a baby not only knows the name of an object, but also knows how to describe it. You need to develop his skills, describe color, size. It is important during this period to pay as much attention as possible to reading poems and fairy tales. You can arrange theatrical performances. At this age, children love not only to listen, but also to watch.
Closer to the age of three, when the child is able to make small sentences, you can ask him to complete the sentence while reading fairy tales. For example, pause while reading and invite the baby to finish the phrase on their own.
It is recommended to use facial expressions and body movements while reading and telling fairy tales. After each read fairy tale, you need to discuss it with the child. Let him express his opinion about the heroes. This will help develop memory and attention.
Important! It is necessary to put the speech correctly. Parents should remember that the child clearly repeats everything after the parents. In order for the baby’s speech to be correct, you need to control your manner of speaking.
You can find many manuals and books with rhymes that are designed to develop speech. They are often used for speech therapy classes. For example, kids are very fond of poems about animals. While reading, you can teach your child how this or that animal makes sounds. You can print colorful pictures with animals, show them to the baby and offer to tell how it talks.
Reading books
Hand coordination and motor skills
From the age of one and a half, babies begin to show interest in sensations. They are fond of their hands, they often examine them. During this period, the development of fine motor skills is important. It is important for parents to teach their child to manage their own hands correctly. All activities for the development of motor skills should include finger play. You can use entertaining rhymes, come up with your own story. Such activities will help develop coordination.
During this period, bodily contact with parents is very important for every child. You need to touch the baby’s hands more often, stroke the palms. When the nerve endings in the fingers are activated, the parts of the brain that are responsible for the speech apparatus begin to work intensively.
Note! For the development of fine motor skills, you can offer your child games with cereals, buttons. It is worth preparing a material that is different in texture. For example, a piece of leather fabric and fur. It is necessary to teach the child to compare objects according to sensations.
Sculpting plays an important role in the development of coordination and motor skills. You need to start with the simplest figures, invite the baby to roll up a sausage, a ball. After mastering the elementary skills, you can begin to sculpt more complex figures. Classes need to gradually complicate.
Motor skills development
Mindfulness exercises
Developing activities for 2-3 year old children should be aimed at developing attention. This is an important quality that needs to be developed from early childhood. If you miss this moment, then the baby may be distracted. This will further complicate the learning process.
Note! A child at two years of age most often does what interests him. He very quickly switches his attention from one subject to another. In the period from 2.5 to 3 years, there is a transition of passive attention to active attention. It is important not to miss this moment.
Little children love to play hide and seek. This is a universal game that can be played not only at home, but also outdoors in summer and spring. At home, you can hide the toy and ask the baby to find it. Each time you need to hide the toy in a new place.
You can come up with an exciting game: draw and cut mushrooms, hide them all over the room, then invite the child to collect all the mushrooms in a basket.
Perfectly develops attention and understanding of the construction of structures according to drawings. You can draw them yourself. Such a lesson is difficult for a child of two years of age, so the help of parents is required. But gradually he will master the principle, and the lesson will give excellent results.
It is important for children to develop the skill of switching attention from one subject to another. This will be useful in further educational activities. This skill needs to be given time from early childhood. For example, in the process of an exciting game, you can ask a child a distracting question, if he reacts to it, then the development process is going correctly.
Important! Children need to learn to mind their own business and answer their parents’ questions at the same time. For example, a baby may be passionate about drawing, but at the same time answer what he did in kindergarten.
Hide-and-seek for attention development
Baby’s memory development
Learning the process of how to deal with a 2-year-old child, it is important not to miss the development of memory. At birth, the baby does not react to anyone, then gradually begins to remember the parents. At the age of one, he already knows all the family members well, recognizes his favorite toys.
At the age of two, babies have involuntary memory. He is able to remember certain words, little rhymes. It is important at this age to start developing memory. To do this, you can use simple games:
Read a fairy tale before going to bed, and then in the morning ask the kid what it was about. It is recommended to ask the baby in the evening how his day went, what he did interesting.
You can invite the baby to look at the picture, then hide it and after a while ask to tell what was drawn on it. If he finds it difficult to answer, you can help with leading questions.
Note! As an attention game, you need to lay out three or four toys in front of the baby, tell about each of them. Then you need to ask the baby to turn away and hide one toy. The child must say which one is missing.
The development of attention
The development of thinking and perception in children 2-3 years old
Children at the age of two are fascinated, first of all, by bright objects. If you want to play logic games, you need to choose only one object at a time. For example, today only a pyramid is assembled, the next day a house is built from cubes.
It is important for two-year-olds to study colors. Tasks for GEF are supposed to start with plain cards. You can show them to the baby and say what color it is. Repeat until the baby remembers. Then you can complicate the lesson. For example, collect multi-colored balls and ask the child to arrange them by color.
Important! Didactic games with cards develop thinking well. For example, pictures are cut into two halves. The kid must logically find a pair for each picture. You can take a mother animal and her cubs.
Activity plan with a 2-year-old at home for a week
Mothers with small children never have free time. In order to competently conduct classes, taking into account all the necessary aspects of development, it is recommended to draw up a detailed plan for the week. The summary will help to visually see whether all aspects of educational activities are affected. Lessons may vary depending on the season. For example, in the summer it is best to spend more time on a walk, where you can also come up with educational games for children.
A sample lesson plan might look like this:
Monday: exercises, rhyme reading, repetition of what was read, plasticine modeling.
Tuesday: dancing and playing with musical instruments, such as a drum parade; leaf applique; grits game.
Wednesday: outdoor exercise in case of good weather; drawing with finger paints, building a house for a teddy bear and a garage for his car.
Thursday: musical morning warm-up, theatrical performance of the kolobok fairy tale; molding a bun from dough.
Friday: exercises with reading rhymes, playing with water (transfusion of liquid from one vessel to another, reading a fairy tale and a short retelling.
Saturday: trip to the zoo, on the way back clarifying questions about whom the baby saw in the zoo, please describe the animals Drawing animals from the zoo
Sunday: exercises, didactic game of halves “who is whose baby”, modeling from plasticine
Note! playing alone will lead to the fact that the baby will grow up closed. In the future, because of this, adaptation problems will arise.0003 youtube.com/embed/S-PeC8NdhGU?feature=oembed&wmode=opaque” frameborder=”0″ allow=”accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture” allowfullscreen=””>

The educational philosophy born out of the ashes of World War II lacks the strictures of the typical North American classroom

This story was originally published on Aug. 16, 2019 in NYT Parenting.
World War II was over and Italy was reeling. The government disbursed funds to towns in order to help rebuild their communities. And in the area surrounding the city of Reggio Emilia, citizens decided to invest in early childhood education: They built a school using the stone and timber from buildings destroyed during the war. A local educator, Loris Malaguzzi, would be the key figure in what the school, and the network of municipal infant centers and preschools that followed, became.
His approach springs from the notion that young children are capable of initiating their own learning, a philosophy that came to share the name of the region. The Reggio Emilia approach spread internationally, in part thanks to a 1991 Newsweek article heralding the schools, and today there are 1,200 individual members — educators and advocates — of the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance. Only schools in Italy are true Reggio schools. In the United States, the preschools, most of them private, that use the approach call themselves Reggio-inspired, and while many schools have sent representatives to Italy to study the system, there is no formal certification process for schools or teachers. Schools in the United States typically cover the traditional preschool years (3 to 4 years old, and often younger), and children leave when they go to kindergarten. While there is no strict checklist of attributes, there are some shared elements you can expect to find in a Reggio-inspired school.
“Children aren’t empty vessels who need to be filled,” said Gabriela Garcia, executive director of the Reggio-inspired Grant Park Cooperative Preschool in Atlanta. Instead, the Reggio philosophy is that “children are competent, confident and capable beings from birth,” she said. But that doesn’t mean that preschoolers are in charge or that the schedule is a free-for-all. Instead, children follow their own interests within a framework of activities directed by the teachers. “The ball is being passed back and forth,” said Jane Racoosin, director of the Reggio-inspired Beginnings Nursery School in Manhattan.
Often, those explorations will occur when an educator sets up an experience for a small group of children and their reactions lead to a specific topic or theme. That topic can become a curricular thread that is followed for weeks or months. Sarah Wheeler, a Manhattan mother of two current Beginnings students and one graduate, said that even when her children passed through the same classrooms, with the same teachers, the curriculums were different. One child’s class explored sound and music-making, including building their own instruments, as well as planning and building their own multi-tiered garage as a group. When another child was in the same class, they focused on textures, including creating them, measuring them and identifying them in and out of school. That led to learning about Braille and the five senses. Ashley Marotta, in Boulder, Colo., is the parent of three children, one of whom graduated from a Reggio-inspired school and one who will enter her final year at the Reggio-inspired Boulder Journey School this fall. Her youngest child was in a class that focused on the local library after they walked there to visit. When the community was invited to give feedback on a proposal for a new library, some of the kids attended a meeting, advocating for space for babies and room for wheelchairs.
In that way, the curriculum emerges organically as opposed to top-down, in partnership with the children, and within the context of the community. So instructors at Reggio-inspired schools are flexible and don’t start the year with a preconceived notion of what will be taught or when.

One thing you’ll hear from pretty much anyone involved with the Reggio-Emilia approach is that, after parents and teachers, “the environment is the third teacher.” Classroom layouts are carefully planned to encourage interaction between those in the classroom and with the outdoors, and to be open-ended, offering many options for exploration. “Everything in the schools should be facilitating encounters between children or between children and teachers,” said Lella Gandini, the United States Reggio liaison, who helps to bring the approach to schools here.
Reggio holds that children and teachers shouldn’t be limited to materials marketed for early childhood education, said Alison Maher, executive director of the Boulder Journey School. They choose between fine art materials such as clay, tools, reclaimed materials, natural materials like plants or modern tech, depending on the context and community, Maher said. (In her school, when children worried that fish in two different tanks couldn’t communicate with each other, teachers used computers to set up a FaceTime connection between the tanks.) Many schools have a room dedicated to art — in Italy called an “atelier” — often with a specialized arts teacher (“atelierista” in Reggio-speak).
The idea is to provide children with many ways to express themselves. (Malaguzzi wrote a poem called “The Hundred Languages”; and a foundational book about Reggio Emilia, which Gandini co-edited, is called “The Hundred Languages of Children.”) Preschoolers approach the materials and think: “‘I have an idea in my head. How can I gather the things I need and play it out or make it come to life?’” said Racoosin.
Teachers keep an ongoing record of students’ activities using photos, videos or tape recordings. “It’s the glue that holds everything together,” said Maher. It’s part of the feedback loop of how learning progresses; teachers review those observations and sometimes discuss them with their colleagues to figure out what options might be presented next. Documentation also shows the children that their ideas are important, said Racoosin. (Beginnings, the school in Manhattan, moved its bulletin boards displaying student work lower on the walls so they’d be at eye-level for preschoolers.) Giovanna and Noah Speights have sent two kids to Grant Park Cooperative Preschool in Atlanta, which has programs for children as young as 1. The first entry in their children’s portfolios was a description, with photos, of a home visit by teachers before school started, and the kids added to their records throughout their time there, bringing them back and forth between home and school. When her son graduated, “he had four years of documentation – quotes, art and photos of the classroom,” said Giovanna.
A representative for the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance said that there are no tuition statistics for Reggio-inspired schools over all, since there is no formal certification process for the schools and anyone can adopt all or part of the Reggio approach. Maher, of the Boulder Journey School, said: “Tuition is not connected to the philosophy. It is reflective of our teacher-student ratios, the educational levels of our teachers and the cost of living.” She added that scholarships are available, as they are at some other Reggio-inspired schools.
The Reggio approach isn’t for parents who want a very structured approach, or who want to know in a concrete way what’s going to be taught during the school year, said Robin Aronow, founder of School Search NYC, which advises parents on public- and private-school options. That said, some Reggio-inspired schools often incorporate other educational influences beyond the Italian system, which may include a more structured approach. For example, Reggio-inspired schools in New York City, where parents tend to have a closer eye on kindergarten admissions, may incorporate the basics, said Aronow.
“Literacy and math learning are all embedded,” said Racoosin. “Will a child learn a letter of the week? No. Will they learn about literacy? Oh yes.” Wheeler said her oldest child acquired “all the skills that are expected in kindergarten,” including the ability to write her name and exposure to literacy and numeracy. But she also left with other crucial skills, she said, including the ability to work independently and in groups, and to stick with things when they got challenging. “The projects fostered an inventiveness and a perseverance that I am so reassured she has,” she said.
“The Italians have said to us: Once children develop certain skills and concepts such as empathy or critical thinking, that’s something that no one can take away,” Garcia said.

7 Ideas From Reggio Emilia That Any Early Childhood Teacher Can Use
Twenty years ago, I learned something that changed my life. I was in an undergraduate class, and my mentor and professor shared slides about the schools of Reggio Emilia. At that moment as a teacher in training, I immediately found purpose and passion for what was possible through education.
Twenty years later, I am still as passionate about the Reggio Emilia approach as I was back then. Working in two Reggio-inspired schools and traveling to Italy twice to visit the birthplace of this teaching philosophy have given me opportunities to learn more about what this practice is, and how it looks, feels, and sounds.
Reggio Emilia is a child-centered approach to early childhood education that was developed in a northern Italian town of the same name shortly after World War II, and Reggio-inspired practice is a teacher’s and/or school’s interpretation of the Reggio Emilia approach. It will look different outside of Italy because the people and culture and history are what make it. That’s why we use the phrase “Reggio-inspired practice”—we’re inspired by Reggio to support our own context.
Every person and every school that becomes inspired will take various ideas for their own. In fact, any school can learn from this approach.
Reggio Emilia Principles That Other Schools Can Embrace
1. Image of the child: In Reggio Emilia, there is a phrase, “image of the child.” It’s what we believe about children and is at the center of my work. I believe that all children are capable, competent, and creative.
Tip: Write down three words that you believe about children and tape them somewhere obvious. Use those words to guide the day, the activities, and the environment.
2. Project work: Responding to children’s interests helps bring authentic engagement and exploration to life. Project work fosters in-depth studies that the children and teacher(s) are living and learning alongside each other. Listening well, leading with questions, and exploring—using experience, materials, hands-on learning, and integrating content areas—all create opportunities to learn in deeply integrated ways throughout the day.
Tip: Notice what the children are talking about, what they are playing, and if there are patterns or excitement around that topic. Ask what the children already know about that topic, or maybe ask the children what they are curious about. Follow up with questions they have about the topic, and start exploring those questions.
3. 100 languages: In Reggio Emilia, “100 languages” refers to the fact that children learn in many different ways, and it’s important to offer multiple opportunities for children to show what they know. It might be through reading, writing, creating a sculpture, painting, or hiking. Having various ways to create and construct offers children multiple ways to learn.
Tip: Ask the children what they like to do. If, for example, you have a lot of children who like to draw, maybe offering experiences with clay, watercolor, or loose parts can engage the children in deeper ways through a medium that excites them.
4. Environment as the third teacher: How does your environment reflect all learners? How does it invoke wonder, beauty, and engagement so that the children feel excited to enter? In Reggio Emilia, “environment as the third teacher” is an idea that allows us to think critically about how we are setting up the environment so that all children can learn.
Tip: The thinking of the children should be on the walls. Put up their math strategies, artwork, and photographs. Put up stories they have written in the book area. All of this shows that you think their work is valuable enough that it should be shared.
5. Teacher as learner: Even though I have been focused on my learning and teaching practices over the last 20 years, I still feel like I am learning something new about Reggio-inspired practice every day. Through reading, collaborating, and thinking alongside the children, I learn more. We, as teachers, should see ourselves as learners and researchers so that we can be in a space of process and active learning.
Tip: Write down what the children say in order to be inspired about what you do. Carry around a clipboard, and write down conversations so that you have a living document that shows you are a learner.
6. Family as partner: We cannot be a school without our families. It’s important to value the relationships with families. To be able to know the child well and share that with families makes them feel seen and valued.
Tip: Find the best way to contact three to five families a week: Whether it’s by email, phone call, or text, let them know what you see their child doing. Be specific. Be authentic.
7. Documentation: Children share so many ideas and questions. It’s important that we, as teachers, document that work and make it visible so that they can see their process of thinking. We can, as observers, assess the process and learning that has taken place during the project.
Tip: Take lots of photographs. Write down students’ thoughts. Share the story and the big findings so that the various audiences (children, teachers, families, policy makers) can see the thinking that has happened.
What I have learned through my studies of Reggio-inspired practice is that everything is done with purpose and intention. We should not just do to do, but we should have intent for everything we do with children. Reggio Emilia has given me an opportunity to deepen my understanding of what teaching, learning, and living can look like. Over the years I have been studying it, I have continued to take what I have read, observed, learned, and interpreted for my own context. It’s an ongoing process that will forever be my passion.
Pedagogy Reggio Emilia. Education and training of preschoolers. Imaton Institute
Introduction
Reggio Emilia is a city in the north of Italy, where kindergartens were first opened, in which preschoolers were brought up and taught, guided by the principles of respect and trust in the strong personality of the child. The ideas and methods of Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, Maria Montessori, Dewey, Bruner and other well-known teachers were taken as a basis. The founder of a new pedagogical approach, Loris Malaguzzi, and active parents believed that it was possible to change the world, change society, starting with changing the fate of children. The new system of education and upbringing was named after the city – the Reggio Emilia approach.
In 1991, the Reggio approach was recognized as the best for preschools. It has dominated the municipal kindergartens in Italy, Germany and other European countries for more than 20 years. Research and projects are key components of the approach. Children are the main initiators of projects. The task of an adult is to help the child express his ideas about the world and remember what he experienced at the same time. An adult does not teach, does not present ready-made knowledge to the child, does not give direct answers to questions, he opens the way to answers, thereby creating conditions for independent learning and development.
Specialists of the system of pre-school education and interested parents are invited to the seminar .
As a result of the training, participants will be able to:

Summary
Reggio Pedagogy: “A child consists of a hundred”
Reggio pedagogy is distinguished by a special respect for the child, faith in his abilities, upbringing in an atmosphere of democracy and justice, thanks to which an amazing mutual understanding is born between an adult and a child.
The history of the emergence of Reggio pedagogy
The creator of Reggio pedagogy is the Italian teacher and psychologist Loris Malaguzzi.
In the early 1960s, together with active residents of Reggio Emilia, Loris Malaguzzi began to create preschool institutions unique for their time.
For Malaguzzi and his supporters, the idea of the unconditional right of the child to upbringing and education, regardless of his origin, family social status or physical abilities, was very important.
In 1991, Newsweek named the Malaguzzi and Reggio Emilia approach as one of the best. This publication aroused interest in regio-pedagogy all over the world, including in Russia.

Philosophy of Reggio Pedagogy
Malaguzzi has not developed specific methods of working with children, his approach is more of a philosophy. Reggio pedagogy proposes to help the child in his development, and not to adjust him to the requirements that are common to all.
He expressed it vividly and succinctly in his famous poem:
A child consists of a hundred.
Child has
one hundred languages,
one hundred hands,
one hundred thoughts,
one hundred ways to think,
play and talk.
One Hundred Ways to Listen,
admire,
be in love.
One hundred joyful feelings,
to sing and understand
one hundred worlds,
to make discoveries.
The child has
one hundred (and another hundred, hundred, hundred) languages,
but is stolen from him
ninety-nine of them.
School and culture
separate the head from the body.
They teach:
think without hands,
do headless,
listen silently,
understand without joy,
rather love and admire
only for Easter and Christmas.
They teach:
discover an already existing world,
and ninety-nine out of a hundred worlds are stolen.
They teach:
play and work,
reality and fantasy,
science and imagination,
heaven and earth,
mind and dreams –
things that are incompatible with each other.
In general, they teach,
that there is no hundred.
The child says: there are a hundred.
The teacher is an assistant
The teacher should treat the little person with attention and respect, encourage him to ask questions; should not rush to offer ready-made answers, prompting reflection and fantasizing; rush and look down.
The teacher’s help should be determined by the current interests and needs of the child. Almost any situation can be pedagogical, that is, give rise to knowledge, reflection and search.
Development environment
Reggio pedagogy attaches great importance to the learning opportunities of the environment. Premises of kindergartens are called the third teacher. In order for a child to show interest in nature, technology or art, he must have such an opportunity. Therefore, in groups you can see a variety of tools and materials: paints, clay, sand, different types of paper, wood, cardboard, dried plants, seeds, pencils and pens, threads, wire, buttons, ribbons, plaster, stones, feathers, screws, foil … and even simple garbage.
Kindergarten premises should provide a sense of security, privacy, and at the same time play and activities. They have planes of different levels, corners and houses, cabinets and drawers, and many more mirrors. A special creative zone is called an atelier, and a separate employee, an atelier artist, is responsible for everything related to creativity.
Communication and cooperation
Parents do not just “surrender” the child to teachers, but also spend time with children and participate in their classes. And children do not sit within four walls: they go to museums, on excursions (including to work with their parents), and join in what is happening in the city.
Children are taught to listen to the opinions of others, to argue their position and to do a common thing together. The business itself, or the project, as a rule, arises spontaneously. One child finds himself a new interesting occupation and, with the help of a teacher, captivates others; and sometimes children are invited to solve together some practical problem that arose in kindergarten. At the same time, it is not the result that is important, but the process, which provides new opportunities for knowledge and development.
Observations and documentation
Kindergartens that work according to the principles of regio-pedagogy do not use standardized control systems. Children do not pass tests, their level of development and knowledge is not assessed according to uniform criteria. At the same time, everything that happens in the classroom is documented in detail: teachers make notes, save children’s crafts and drawings, and collect photos and videos. This allows teachers, on the one hand, to track the personal results of each child, on the other hand, to constantly learn by analyzing the collected material.
The “REGIO PEDAGOGY COLLECTION” will help you get acquainted with Reggio pedagogy.
Kit includes:
Making learning visible: children’s research work in groups and individually;
Guidelines for organizing the work of nurseries and kindergartens in the municipality;
Daily utopias: One day in a manger. One day in kindergarten: video documentation from the exhibition “The Miracle of Learning. One Hundred Languages of Children”;
Nurseries and kindergartens of the municipality of Reggio Emilia: Historical notes and general information.
1. MAKE LEARNING VISIBLE: CHILDREN’S RESEARCH IN GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALLY. In the guide you will find answers to the following questions:
What is a study group?
To what extent is the process of individual learning supported and improved, or, on the contrary, suppressed and inhibited in the conditions of the study group?
To what extent can documentation support the development of new ways of learning?
What is the relationship between documentation and evaluation?

The guy, when he was twenty-three years old, went to school, but he did not expect what awaits him in this hellish place. Moreover, it all started from the moment he first stepped outside the classroom, a crowd of naked girls who were not embarrassed by anything, on the contrary, they looked at the guy with interest. Then it only got worse, a girl named Rin approached the guy and directly began to be interested in whether the guy had a girlfriend, moreover, she smiled and said that she was ready to become one. Hehe, you thought that was it? No, this is just the beginning. Before Aoki, Namisuki-san worked there, behaving cruelly with his subordinates. And what was to be expected from this, the students got rid of the annoying teacher. But after that, some girls did not want to forgive the insult, in particular Mimi-chan, who stopped going to classes. Rin and Kuro also want to make fun of this teacher, they constantly put a bastard. The end of the story can be found out by watching this anime before the end.

Since the beginning of the year, 28 different facilities for educational institutions have been built in the capital, said Andrey Bochkarev, Vice Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction. In total, according to him, the city authorities plan to put into operation about 60 educational facilities in 2023. Thus, the annual plan for the construction of schools and kindergartens in Moscow has already been completed by 40%. The Deputy Mayor stressed that most of these facilities were built by private investors and developers.
“The city is building schools and kindergartens in already established areas to improve the provision of Muscovites with places in educational institutions, and in the new neighborhoods that are being formed, business is taking over the construction of infrastructure,” Bochkarev specified.
The head of the Construction Complex of the capital emphasized that for the developers themselves, the construction of high-quality infrastructure, including educational infrastructure, has long ceased to be a burden, but is a competitive advantage.

Earlier, Andrey Bochkarev, summing up the results of real estate construction in Moscow from January to May 2023, said that the vast majority of objects — 75% by number and 80% by area — since the beginning of the year were commissioned by attracting private investment. Moreover, we are talking not only about residential and commercial real estate, but also about social infrastructure – these are educational, sports and medical facilities.

The Deputy Mayor specified that in the first five months of 2023, the annual construction plan has already been completed by two-thirds. Nearly 5.7 million sq. m of real estate for various purposes – a total of 232 objects.

MEET THE DIRECTOR—
Patricia Quintero
Patricia Quintero was born in Santa Barbara, California, and was transplanted to Houston when she was nine years old. As the oldest of seven, she has always been around children. Formally, she was introduced to the basic concepts of preschool in high school when she elected to take Child Care 101 and has been in this industry ever since!
She spent many years in a private preschool in the Cypress area and worked her way up to Director of Pre-K Before and After school programs, which included 200 summer campers! She left the industry briefly thinking she wanted to do something different, but she just couldn’t stay away! Upon her return to early childhood education, she found TWYLA. In her own words, “this wonderful school!”
Patricia has been at The Woodlands Young Learners Academy for nine years. She started as a teacher in the 3 year old classroom, becoming the lead and then moved into administration. She achieved her Director’s Accreditation in 2005.
Outside of TWYLA, Patricia loves to spend as much time as she can with her nieces and nephews, as well as working on various art projects with her silhouette.

10 rules for an adult who goes to the forest with a child. Our child.
Phone, water, chocolate and a whistle – what else will save the life of a child in the forest
Contents:
What an adult should know when going to the forest with a child
What should a child be taught when going to the forest with him
The season of kebabs, mushrooms, outdoor walks begins – and it is in this season that children are most often lost in the forest. Ksenia Knorre Dmitrieva, journalist and volunteer of the Liza Alert search team, tells about what to teach a child so that he does not get lost in the forest, and what you yourself need to know when going into the forest.
Despite the fact that many of us live in big cities – or maybe because of this – even the well-known, nearby forest continues to be a zone of increased danger for us.
If you ask a person what is the biggest danger in the forest, he is likely to name wild animals. In fact, when you enter the forest, the animals make every effort not to meet you.
Much more dangerous for a person in the forest dehydration and hypothermia . Children have a third, no less dangerous enemy, which we have already talked about – water.
And if most adults still know about the danger of lakes and rivers, then few people think about hypothermia and dehydration, but in vain – after all, a child becomes dehydrated due to low body weight quite quickly.
Another problem is hypothermia. If the temperature drops below ten degrees at night, then the risk for a child in a T-shirt and shorts becomes very serious. Therefore, in the forest, firstly, it is important to pack properly, and secondly, you need to know what to do if you get lost.
Therefore, we recommend that adults read these rules carefully and tell children what they need to know to feel safe in the forest.
What an adult should know when going to the forest with a child
Do not let a child go into the forest alone. Never. In the history of our detachment, there is a case when a child was lost, who went through the forest to the store on a bicycle along the road known to him. How and why he left the road is unknown, but for two days hundreds of people were looking for him in the forest.
If there are adults in the family who are fond of hiking or orienteering, teach your child how to use the compass. This can be turned into an exciting competition game. And, unlike knowing that “moss grows on the north side of the tree” (not always), this is what can really save his life.
Think thrice before sending a small child into the woods with an elderly person , especially if the adult has serious chronic diseases that can lead to acute conditions. If something happens to an elderly adult, a four-year-old child will not be able to help him and will not be able to get out of the forest on his own. In any case, if one of the older adults is going to go into the forest (with a child or alone), you should definitely know where exactly they are going and when they plan to return.
H Don’t think that if last year the forest was “good” – dry, passable, clear – then this year it has remained the same. Hurricanes, bark beetle, swamping can quickly turn a familiar and friendly forest into an impenetrable and dangerous thicket. It is also important to remember that you can get lost right next to the house – for this it is absolutely not necessary to go many kilometers away. Moreover, most of those who get lost tend to get lost close to the entry point into the forest.
If you go to the forest even for “half an hour”, always take with you the medicines you need (those that you take regularly).
Dress yourself and dress your child correctly: in bright waterproof clothes, taking into account the fact that it is much colder and wetter in the forest than in your summer cottage. Be sure to wear waterproof shoes – rubber boots or special hiking boots.
Please do not go into the forest in camouflage and forbid your elderly relatives to do so! You can detect a lying person in protective clothing only by stepping on him.
An adult must take a flashlight, matches, a charged mobile phone, a trash bag (extra warmth, if anything), a whistle, chocolate and some food (chocolate is preferable as it is a source of energy), drinking water, wet wipes and – optionally, but effectively – salt heaters, heating pads.
The child must have in his backpack: a fully charged phone, water, a chocolate bar and a whistle. If all these things are taken with you, but are in an adult’s bag, there is no point in this for the child.
If a child (or adult) is lost in the woods, do not call him every five minutes asking “Where are you?” and “Well, how?”.
Take care in advance that the child’s phone “tells” you where he is . All Big Three operators have a paid low-cost service that allows you to determine where the subscriber is located. This service can also be connected to the simplest push-button telephones. You can install an application on a smartphone, they are available for both androids and iOs. Another good solution is a watch with a GPS tracker that will allow you to determine the location of the child. This, of course, is not a panacea, especially in conditions of poor Internet, but it will not be superfluous.
What you need to teach a child when going to the forest with him
If you get lost, stop and go no further. If there is a clearing very close, you can go to it. Try to find a dry place nearby, a hill – this will be your “headquarters” while they are looking for you.
Call your parents, explain that you are lost, if there is no reception, call 112 .
Talk to the child about how to talk to the operator 112. To prevent the operator from feeling that the child is calling out of mischief, you need to introduce yourself, and if the operator hangs up, call back again and again until they believe. Explain that if he gets lost, after these calls, you should save the phone’s charge – do not play, do not listen to music, do not take pictures.
You can call 112 even when there is no network.
Explain to him that if he gets lost, it is useless to climb a tree – this increases the risk of injury and does not provide any valuable information, since to the very top of the highest tree, from where one can really see something, he still won’t fit.
Explain that sound in a forest is distributed according to a host of factors , depending on the type of forest, soil, number of trees, their type, presence or absence of rain and wind, time of day, season of the year, and so on, and sometimes its source is not at all where it seems. Therefore “walking towards the sound” in the forest is dangerous , especially at night, and even if the child hears the noise of the road, train or siren, the rule for him remains the same: stay still.
In any situation, the rule applies: if a child is lost, he stands still, and adults walk and look for him.
If you get lost in the forest, you should try not to sleep : a sleeping child does not hear his name and risks hypothermia. Therefore, if night falls, one must jump, dance, repeat verses, sing songs, and do anything to stay awake. If you fall asleep completely, indicate your presence with something bright on a branch above you – a handkerchief, a bag, at least a paper napkin.
Perhaps your child has already learned that in the city you need to seek help from the police, those who work in the place where he got lost, and people with children. But another rule works in the forest: seek help from anyone you meet. Note for adults: oncoming people, both in the forest and in the city, are far from always adequate. There are cases in the history of the detachment when a mushroom picker, having met two small barefoot children, in response to their questions, pointed his finger in the direction where, in his opinion, they should have gone, and went further.
Answer noise with noise! If someone near you is rustling in the bushes, knock on wood with a stick, shout, show that you are here.
If you are lost, stretch the chocolate bar and water longer, but in no case do not eat mushrooms and berries and do not drink water from reservoirs.
It is strictly forbidden to approach the water without adults.
If they call you, even in other people’s voices, respond! This means that people have already come to look for you and really want to find you as soon as possible.
If one of your loved ones is lost, call 112 and Lisa Alert: 8 (800) 700-54-52. The sooner the search starts, the sooner we will find the lost person and the more likely we will do it on time.
11 ideas for walking in the woods with children: not only quests and finds, but also the development of the imagination
People usually go to the forest for mushrooms and berries. But after a long winter, I really want to plunge headlong into the greenery, breathe in the spring! So we go for a walk in the forest just like that. And so that children do not get bored while adults enjoy the silence, we have collected 11 ideas of what to do with them.
1. Forest finders
A proven way is to organize a real expedition to the forest for your child. An egg carton, a quest list, and a ghostly shadow of the reward at the end of the quest. You can draw the necessary “objects” directly on the package, or you can invent it on the go – whichever is more convenient for you. But at least cones of all varieties, pebbles, twigs, leaves and sticks must be there.
2. Herbarium of a young naturalist
Collecting bouquets of leaves is great in autumn when they are colorful. And in the spring, you can offer to start collecting a herbarium. We take a piece of cardboard that is convenient to carry in our hands and stick pieces of double-sided tape on it. The child will only have to peel off the layer and stick the found leaflet. And at home it will be possible to sign what is what. The biology teacher will be delighted in the fall!
3. Chelovetkin & Co.
Even if the child is not familiar with the great book by Julia Donaldson, you can invite him to look for unusual sticks and branches in the form of certain forest creatures. It’s great for developing the imagination!
4. Fairy houses
If you decide to make a stop in the forest (don’t forget to grab a snack), you can start arranging a living space for forest fairies and pixies – and at the same time introduce your child to mythology.
5. Forest Lotto
On the one hand, this is also a “finder”, but on the other hand, the task becomes more complicated. You need to find not just a leaf, but a strictly defined shade or shape.
6. Natural patterns
It will be much more interesting to wander through the forest with such a cardboard box, especially if the parents also allow me to work as a photographer – read, they will give you their phone.
7. Forest Alphabet
An excellent game for those who only learn letters. And those who have already entered the first grade will join it even more actively. We just look at the forest, branches, look under our feet and look for something that resembles this or that letter, or we suggest composing letters along the way.
