Apache2 Debian Default Page: It works
Apache2 Debian Default Page
This is the default welcome page used to test the correct
operation of the Apache2 server after installation on Debian systems.
If you can read this page, it means that the Apache HTTP server installed at
this site is working properly. You should replace this file (located at
/var/www/html/index.html) before continuing to operate your HTTP server.
If you are a normal user of this web site and don’t know what this page is
about, this probably means that the site is currently unavailable due to
maintenance.
If the problem persists, please contact the site’s administrator.
Debian’s Apache2 default configuration is different from the
upstream default configuration, and split into several files optimized for
interaction with Debian tools. The configuration system is fully documented in
/usr/share/doc/apache2/README.Debian.gz. Refer to this for the full
documentation. Documentation for the web server itself can be
found by accessing the manual if the apache2-doc
package was installed on this server.
The configuration layout for an Apache2 web server installation on Debian systems is as follows:
apache2.conf is the main configuration
file. It puts the pieces together by including all remaining configuration
files when starting up the web server.
ports.conf is always included from the
main configuration file. It is used to determine the listening ports for
incoming connections, and this file can be customized anytime.
Configuration files in the mods-enabled/,
conf-enabled/ and sites-enabled/ directories contain
particular configuration snippets which manage modules, global configuration
fragments, or virtual host configurations, respectively.
They are activated by symlinking available
configuration files from their respective
*-available/ counterparts. These should be managed
by using our helpers
a2enmod,
a2dismod,
a2ensite,
a2dissite,
and
a2enconf,
a2disconf
. See their respective man pages for detailed information.
The binary is called apache2. Due to the use of
environment variables, in the default configuration, apache2 needs to be
started/stopped with /etc/init.d/apache2 or apache2ctl. Calling /usr/bin/apache2 directly will not work with the
default configuration.
By default, Debian does not allow access through the web browser to any file apart of those located in /var/www,
public_html
directories (when enabled) and /usr/share (for web
applications). If your site is using a web document root
located elsewhere (such as in /srv) you may need to whitelist your
document root directory in /etc/apache2/apache2. conf.
The default Debian document root is /var/www/html. You
can make your own virtual hosts under /var/www. This is different
to previous releases which provides better security out of the box.
Please use the reportbug tool to report bugs in the
Apache2 package with Debian. However, check existing bug reports before reporting a new bug.
Please report bugs specific to modules (such as PHP and others)
to respective packages, not to the web server itself.

FAQs
AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Covina KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.
Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!
A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.
Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
My husband and I decided to enroll our son Christopher at KinderCare because one of my nieces had been there up until she graduated Kindergarten (about ten years prior) and she had a great experience there. Although our son has special needs, he has never been treated any different than the other kids. The friendliness and care that all of the teachers have for him and for us is amazing. The communication that we have had with teachers and the Director has been wonderful. Because of the excellent care that our son has received for the past three-and-a-half years, both my husband and I are comfortable leaving Christopher in the care of KinderCare staff while we are at work. Our experience at KinderCare has been very positive. We are very grateful to all of the staff for the patience and care they have given our son. Thank you for this opportunity to express our appreciation.
Ana P. – KinderCare Parent
We would like to share my gratitude to all of the staff at KinderCare Covina. When we were first researching a daycare for our daughter, my wife and I visited all the daycare centers in our area. Our daughter cried at all of them, except KinderCare Covina. The staff at this center is exceptional! They are all very caring and professional, and not to mention warm and loving. They have all contributed to our daughter’s academic and character growth. Our daughter is super bright and we feel it is because of KinderCare. If you are in need of a daycare you can trust, KinderCare Covina is worth every dollar spent and more. A special thanks to Jayleen, Wendi, Heather, Melanie, Jessica, Michele, Sandy and Ms. Rose.
Rudy and Carol F. – KinderCare Parent
I have three kids that have gone through KinderCare; Haven who is now fourteen, Ryan who is twelve, and Noah who is six and still goes there. He attends the location in Covina off of Lark Ellen. All of the staff there has been amazing and I see everyone as family. Jayleen Olmos, the Director, is simply amazing! Whenever I see her she is working with staff or with the kids. She is truly an amazing woman and professional. She has an amazing relationship with her staff and it is very apparent that they respect and love her. I do not know what I would do without the KinderCare in my life. There are other daycare centers, but this one has become so valuable to me and my children. I could not imagine trusting anyone else to take care of my babies. Jayleen still has relationships with my older two kids even though they haven’t been there for a while now. She asks about them, addresses them when they visit and wants to know what they are up to. It’s truly rare to have a professional who is this passionate in this type of setting. Wendy, the Assistant Director, is also amazing. She has always been so kind and there for my children in every capacity. She is warm and her positive attitude always shines. Working with families and different personalities and children is a very hard position in itself, but I have always seen Jayleen and Wendy remain poised, confident and caring through it all. I look forward to a few more years at KinderCare for my Noah!

Do you support alternative diets?
We strive to be as inclusive as possible. To that point, we provide a vegetarian option at mealtime, take care to not serve common allergens and can adapt menus based on your child’s food sensitivities. If your child has additional needs, we’ll work with you to figure out a plan.
Are meals included in tuition? Can I choose to send my child with lunch?
We provide nutritious meals and snacks developed by a registered dietician to meet the needs of rapidly growing bodies and minds. If your child has special dietary requirements and you would prefer to bring in their lunch, please make arrangements with the center director.
Does my child need to be potty-trained?
Every child begins toilet learning at a different age. Until your child shows an interest in toilet learning, we’ll provide diaper changes on an as-needed basis. When your child shows an interest, we’ll discuss how to work together to encourage toilet learning.

District of Delaware | Wilmington Daycare Owner Federally Indicted On Financial Charges
Press Release
WILMINGTON, Del. – A federal grand jury returned an indictment on January 26, 2021, charging the owner and operator of a Wilmington daycare center with one count of wire fraud, one count of theft of government money, and three counts of tax evasion.
According to the indictment, Brenda Mathis, 56, inflated attendance records for her daycare center, L.J.’s Playpen Academy, Inc., to increase subsidies and payments she received from two federally-funded programs: Purchase of Care and Delaware Stars for Early Success. The Purchase of Care Program helps eligible, low-income families pay for childcare by providing subsidies to a daycare provider of the families’ choice. The Delaware Stars for Early Success Program disperses payments to daycare providers based on the quality of service.
According to the indictment, Ms. Mathis also under-reported the income from the daycare center, including the income received from these programs, on corporate tax returns for tax years 2015 through 2017.
Ms. Mathis is charged with one count of Wire Fraud, one count of Theft of Government Money, and three Counts of Tax Evasion. If convicted on the Wire Fraud count, Ms. Mathis faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. If convicted on the Theft of Government Money count, Ms. Mathis faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The Tax Evasion counts each carry a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after taking into account the U.S. sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors.
David C. Weiss, U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware, made the announcement and gave the following comment, “The defendant is charged with defrauding and stealing from federally-funded programs designed to ensure that families in Delaware receive affordable and high quality care for their children. She further increased her ill-gotten gains by failing to pay taxes on the stolen money. My office is committed to prosecuting those who illegally collect government funds for their own benefit, especially when those funds are stolen from programs meant to help Delaware’s children.”
“Tax violations have been erroneously referred to as victimless crimes, but it’s the honest law-abiding citizen who is harmed when people try to shirk their tax liability,” said IRS Criminal Investigation Special Agent in Charge Thomas Fattorusso. “Today, Brenda Mathis stands accused of doing just that; attempting to evade her tax liabilities. Those Americans who file accurate tax returns and pay their fair share can be assured that the government will hold accountable those who don’t.”
“The Department of Health and Human Services provides federal funding for daycare services to help children and their families,” said HHS-OIG Special Agent in Charge Maureen Dixon. “HHS-OIG will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to ensure the integrity of these important federal grant programs. ”
USDA Office of Inspector General, Special Agent-in-Charge Bethanne M. Dinkins stated, “Those who are involved in fraud and abuse of USDA feeding programs will be investigated by our office to the fullest extent. Our joint investigation with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, OIG, IRS Criminal Investigation, and FBI identified those who sought to profit through illegal schemes. The USDA Office of Inspector General will continue to dedicate investigative resources, working with our law enforcement and prosecutorial partners, to protect the integrity of these programs and bring to justice those who commit fraud.”
“When people steal from programs like these, social service programs suffer across the state of Delaware and tax payers’ funds are illegally diverted to those seeking to enrich themselves personally,” said Jennifer C. Boone, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Baltimore Field Office. “The FBI is grateful for the cooperation and hard work of the many agencies in this case and we will continue to work together to aggressively target fraud in public programs. ”
This case was investigated by IRS Criminal Investigation, U.S. Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of the Inspector General and the FBI. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Lesley F. Wolf and Ruth E. Mandelbaum.
A copy of this press release is located on the website of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Delaware. Related court documents and information is located on the website of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware or on PACER.
An indictment contains allegations that a defendant has committed a crime. Every defendant is presumed to be innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.

Exertsirgauz, or simply Manege – Architectural style — LiveJournal
Moscow Manege (Manege Central Exhibition Hall) is a historic building located at 1 Manezhnaya Square, between Manezhnaya and Sapozhkova Squares, Aleksandrovsky Garden and Mokhovaya Street. The main exhibition area of the state institution of culture of the city of Moscow “Museum and Exhibition Association” Manege “”.
Reluctant construction site.
An area where firewood, hay and moss were traded. For which the street was named Mokhovaya. The fire of 1812 that blazed in Moscow destroyed merchant shops. On the site of the conflagration, Alexander I ordered the construction of an Exertsirgauz for two thousand soldiers – an entire infantry regiment was to fit in the House of Military Exercises. The fifth anniversary of the victory in the Patriotic War was being prepared to be celebrated with a review of the troops. To receive the parade of the combined guards detachment of heroes, a building was built in the center of Moscow.

Engineer and architect Bettencourt.
Not just an architect, but a mechanical engineer and organizer of the transport system of the Russian Empire, Augustine de Betancourt, took up the development of the project. Russified Spaniard – the author of the famous fountain “Girl with a Jug”, in Tsarskoe Selo. Betancourt founded the Institute of Railway Engineers, supervised the construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, designed a capstan – a device for lifting weights, which was used in the construction of St. Isaac’s Cathedral. According to the project of Betancourt, the Manege was built.
Without a single column.
Maneuvering without interference is the main task assigned to the architect. Under the roof, a space of 6,500 square meters was to be located. The project turned out to be unprecedented: the width of the building is 45 meters – without internal supports! 30 wooden trusses rested only on the outer walls. Larch was chosen for construction – one of the most durable materials. The project was approved at the beginning of the summer of 1817, and the completion of construction was expected in the middle of autumn, by October 1. And the builders were on time.
Suspended ceiling.
Know-how was used in the construction of the Manege – for the first time in Russia. The wooden beams of the ceiling were connected by a complex system, which was regulated by nuts. The military team looked after the miracle of engineering. Specialists monitored the serviceability of the rafters. The construction has survived to this day, although cracks appeared almost immediately after construction, which in 1819 required the reconstruction of the roof. A few years later, the number of rafters was increased to 45, and the architect Osip Bove, who was a member of the commission, added several details to the structure

Reconstruction.
The building in the style of classicism was decorated with stucco by the author of the project of the Bolshoi Theater and the Arc de Triomphe. Now the facades sang of the military power of Russia. The attributes of the Roman legionnaires were made according to the sketches of Beauvais. The twelve cast-iron high reliefs “Military Armor”, which were supposed to be placed in the piers, did not come to fruition. In 1838, a rotunda with a throne was added to the Manezh on Trinity Square of the Church of St. Nicholas in Sapozhka. But the extension was demolished after the revolution in order to build tram tracks along Manezhnaya Street.
Classic in the Manege. “Moscow”.
This was the name of the club of cyclists or cyclists, which in 1899 organized a carnival in the Manege. Here, everyone was taught a newfangled hobby – cycling. Among the students was the writer Leo Tolstoy. The classic mastered the art of driving a two-wheeled vehicle already at an advanced age – at 67 years old. “During this time, I began to learn to ride a bicycle in the arena. It is very strange why I am drawn to do this, ”Leo Nikolayevich wrote in his diary, enthusiastically continuing to master the vehicle.

Shag in the attic.
To save wooden floors from pests and dampness, so that the building would stand for centuries, shag in the attic was called upon. Back in the days of Osip Bove, the attic was half a meter covered with dry tobacco leaves – rodents and insects do not favor this smell, and the shag absorbs excess moisture, protecting the beams from dampness. According to legend, shag was smoked either during the revolution, or during the Great Patriotic War – and under the roof of the Manege there was a tart smell for a long time. And then the attic was covered with sawdust.
Cultural area.
The Manege did not last long as a place for military reviews and even as a stable. Since 1831, huge areas have been adapted for exhibitions. The first exhibition of ethnography of the peoples of Russia was held within these walls. Well-known ethnographers, sculptors and artists worked on the exposition. The program was personally approved by Alexander II. Today, legendary exhibits can be seen in the Ethnographic Museum of St. Petersburg. The Manege also hosted: the first international exhibition of automobiles and bicycles, agricultural and industrial exhibitions. In 1867, the French composer Hector Berlioz conducted an orchestra of 500 musicians in the building on Mokhovaya.
“Our people do not need this!”
The famous phrase of Nikita Khrushchev sounded in the Manege after the exhibition “30 Years of Moscow Union of Artists”, where avant-garde artists from the studio “New Reality” presented their works. The result of the cultural campaign of the first person of the state was a devastating article in the newspaper Pravda. And the subsequent campaign: against formalism and abstractionism in the USSR. Half a century later – “The same in the Manege.” The exposition consisted of the same paintings and slides of the missing works, showcases with photographs and biographies of the participants. For example, Leonid Rabichev became the author of the emblem of the Kremlin Museums, and Vera Preobrazhenskaya illustrated many Soviet textbooks on the natural sciences.

Damage and fire.
A decade after the revolution, the ceiling of the Manezh became almost a meter lower: the beams sagged. The building opened a garage for government cars. The metal sheets and columns that were used to strengthen the structure violated the single space of the unique structure. At 19In 41, the building was almost destroyed by a high-explosive bomb, and in 2004 by a fire. The arena blazed with a 50-meter flame. Only the walls remained. It took a year to reconstruct the architectural monument. The “Farms of Betancourt” were recreated, the area of the building almost doubled. The Manege has retained its main purpose – one of the main cultural venues of the capital.

Reports from the arena – Joy and sublimation – LiveJournal
It is a good tradition to spend the winter in the arena.
And no, it’s not because I don’t like winter. In Prague, the weather is perfect for running. It’s wrong to complain. It’s just traditionally in these three months – December / January / February for most runners the off-season and the so-called “special work”.
The arena allows you not only to effectively work on speed and increase speed endurance, but also on technique, practicing SBU and a little stretching, and even strength training.
This year I took a little walk for the holidays. Rested, so rested.
It is understood that rest is needed. And I keep repeating it. But how sad after a break to return to intense running. For two weeks, the level of fitness falls normally like this.
But, surprisingly well, suddenly a slow run began to enter. If at the end of the year, when I was carried somewhere and wanted to compete, I just didn’t want to run slowly, then after a good rest, peace finally came to me) I can run 6 min / km and I’m fine!
After a short run of 100 km, I finally returned to the arena. All the same, it would be impossible for me to immediately go to the arena, you can immediately get an injury.
It’s good in the arena, but how hard it is! Last year, I regularly wrote all my workouts. Now it is very convenient to compare, as we repeat the training cycle.
General impression – I began to feel my speed better, became generally more confident on the track. If there is a task to run, say, 23sec / 100m, then I just take it and run. And a year ago, when setting the pace, I had the thought “well, I don’t know if it will work out, I’ll start, and then we’ll see.”
Five quality workouts compared to last year (where the same is more or less):

Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) impose a high burden on the government budget, both from direct costs of non-medical services, such as inclusive education, and indirect costs, such as those associated with the disability of close relatives who devote all their time to a child with ASD.
In Russia, there are no official statistics yet that estimate the real number of people with ASD, and studies on the prevalence of ASD have not been conducted so far.
The project responds to the social order from the parent community and the largest association of parent NGOs in the field of autism – the Autism-Regions Association, which organizes the work of help services for children with ASD.
The study is supported by the Department of Health and the Department of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Voronezh Region.
Scientific and practical significance of the project
The purpose of the study is to assess the prevalence of ASD for the first time in Russia in a sample of children aged 6 to 9 years using the city of Voronezh as an example.
In addition to actually obtaining data on prevalence, the study will allow validating the Russian-language version of the screening socio-communicative questionnaire (SCQ), assessing the prevalence of various forms of symptomatic manifestation, intellectual and language impairments, describing various developmental profiles in ASD and, based on the array of data obtained, form more accurate hypotheses for subsequent longitudinal work to identify environmental and genetic-environmental factors in the etiology of ASD.
In addition to scientific goals, the mission of the study is to improve awareness of ASD and to provide a basis for future evidence-based screening, diagnostic, intervention and educational programs.
Expected results
The study will help:
assess the prevalence of ASD in Russia, the prevalence of intellectual disabilities among children with ASD, the prevalence of language and speech disorders associated with ASD, the percentage of children with severe adjustment disorders and their families who need more support from social services to help families and children;
introduction in Russia of modern methods of screening and diagnostics, more accurate assessment of the diagnostic validity of their Russian-language versions;
development of longitudinal cohort studies of ASD in Russia;
contribution to the study of the prevalence of ASD in the world;
effective planning of the federal and regional budgets for organizing programs to identify ASD and provide assistance to children with ASD and their families;
improve access for more children with ASD to early intervention programs, special educational settings and social assistance services.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality evidence-based healthcare in a welcoming, caring and unrushed environment to maximize the potential of every child.

Newborn Care in Irving, TX
Newborn Care
Newborn Care
You’ve gone through pregnancy, labor, and delivery, and now you’re ready to go home and begin life with your baby. Once home, though, you might feel like you have no idea what you’re doing! Our team at Pediatric Health Specialists specialize in newborn care. We make sure to monitor, identify, and treat any potential health problems early on. Our newborn care services include foster care, adoption care, lactation support, and support for your child’s feeding problems and tongue-tie issues.
Feeding Problems and Lactation Support
Nothing is more frustrating than experiencing difficulty in performing what should be the most basic act of parenting: feeding your baby! The truth is, it is not always as easy as it seems. Even bottle feeding can be hard at times. We are here to listen to each parent’s concerns and create individualized lactation support solutions. Our neonatal nurse practitioners and support professionals will make sure that you are able to achieve your feeding goals with your child.
Foster Care
Foster children and those who have been adopted may have a history of negligence and abuse. If so, they may need specialized healthcare treatment. At Pediatric Health Specialists, we ensure that the best foster care needs, including behavioral health, research, child welfare, and pediatrics, are given to foster children. Our health experts are dedicated to providing your child with care coordination, developmental support, and referrals to specialists as and when needed.
Adoption
Several unique challenges come with infant adoption, and one of the most important is ensuring their access to quality healthcare. At Pediatric Health Specialists, we bring together the best health experts and caregivers to ensure your child’s health and safety. We will navigate your child’s special needs and will be advocates for their journey toward good health.
Tongue-Tie
Tongue-tie, or ankyloglossia, can be challenging as it can cause difficulty in breastfeeding your child. It is a condition where the tongue is attached to the floor of your baby’s mouth with a thin strip of tissue, preventing it from moving freely. While in some cases, a baby can outgrow this condition on its own, at other times, this syndrome can be significantly difficult, and that is where we come to help you out! We can assess and correct the issue through our special procedure of frenectomy, which can help release the tongue. Don’t hesitate to call us for evaluation if you think your baby is facing similar issues.
Appointment Form
Having a new baby or sick child can be hard! We are here to make it easier. Newborn appointment requests will ALWAYS be granted on the date requested, and we will see you in the early morning. Whole woman’s health: official press release concerning the Texas Sonogram Bill
Press Statement
Re: Recent ruling on the implementation of the Sono bill dated 5 th Chain
January 13, 2012
Whole Woman’s Health, LLC and its subsidiaries have been providing quality reproductive health services in Texas for nearly a decade. We are proud of our outstanding track record of excellent medicines and compassionate support for women and families. We know that every day good women have abortions . We understand that dealing with an unplanned pregnancy is much more than just a medical experience for women. It is very important to respect the feelings and values that women experience during this time. Whole Woman’s Health is committed to treating women with the dignity they deserve. What legislators and judges are doing in Texas is cruel and unfair to women, and it’s embarrassing in light of what America has to stand up to the rest of the world.
The new Sono law in Texas offends women. The law offends doctors. These rules are not related to medical necessity and ignore the feelings and desires of women. This law has nothing to do with good health care and ignores the experience and special training of physicians. The people who support this law need to stop pretending it’s about informed consent. Women who want to have an abortion know they are pregnant. Women do not frivolously choose abortion. They know that if they continue with the pregnancy, there is a good chance they will have a baby. Since they know this, they want to have an abortion. Women know the facts; 65% of our patients at Whole Woman’s Health are already mothers. They saw a lot of ultrasounds; they know exactly what the baby looks like. And because they know exactly what is needed to care for a child, they tend to terminate the pregnancy.
Women have always had abortions and needed them. Restricting access, cutting off insurance coverage, shaming and insulting women, and harassing abortion providers, none of these prevent abortions. Making a woman listen to her heartbeat and hear a description of the fetus will not change her mind about abortion. All it can really do is add another hurdle to the woman’s orientation and in the process make her feel bad about her decision.
Women will do their best to have an abortion when they want it or when they want it. They are already flying or driving hundreds of miles to get the care they need, they are already borrowing money to help pay for the abortion. They sign all the necessary paperwork, they watch any movie they want, they listen to any script they want, they log in as many times as they want – 2, 3 or 4 days. And now they will have to take another trip, drive more, sign more forms, pay more child care, listen to the heartbeat and listen to the pictorial description of the fetus. But still, women will need abortions, and women will do their best to terminate a pregnancy when they know in their hearts and minds that this is not the time for them to bring life into this world through their bodies. So it has always been, and so it will always be.
Women are kind, sincere, ethical and moral figures. Women who want an abortion because they can’t take care of the baby are doing what’s right, and we all know that. The vast majority of Americans know that women are ethical and compassionate and trust women to do what is right.
Informal in-home child care is care provided in the child’s or caregiver’s home by a person who is a relative, friend, neighbor, babysitter, or nanny. This type of care may also be known as family, friend, and neighbor care and is not usually regulated by states or territories. Informal in-home child care can range from a few hours at night for a parent’s night out to full-time care arrangements.
Is Informal In-Home Care Licensed?
Many informal in-home child care providers are not required to have a child care license to legally provide care. For instance, most states and territories do not require an in-home child care provider to be licensed if they provide care on an occasional basis, provide care in your home, or are related to the children in their care. However, it is important to understand that when an in-home child care provider is not licensed or regulated by your state or territory, they are not monitored to ensure that they are meeting basic health and safety requirements (including passing criminal background checks) or meeting key child care training standards (such as being first aid and CPR certified).
Your state or territory may regulate some informal in-home child care providers, depending on the child care licensing rules in your state or territory.
For instance, some states require an individual who is caring for a certain number of children in their own home to be licensed to ensure the children’s safety. If you are considering an informal child care arrangement in which your child will be cared for in another person’s home, it is important to understand the child care licensing rules in your state or territory to ensure that the informal in-home child care provider you are considering isn’t operating illegally.
To learn more about what child care licensing is and why it is important, see the “Ensuring Healthy and Safe Child Care” page.
Why Choose an Informal In-Home Child Care Setting?
Families may choose informal in-home child care for a variety of reasons, including the following:
Some families are most comfortable with a relative or caregiver they know and trust.
Some families believe their children will feel more secure in their own homes.
Some families may need the flexibility informal in-home care can offer. This is especially true if they work nontraditional hours, such as second and third shifts, when most other types of care settings are closed.
Because the provider can come to the family’s home, informal in-home care removes the burden of transporting children to and from care.
Informal in-home care is often less expensive, especially if there are several children in the family.
Informal in-home care can be a good fit for families that don’t need child care on a full-time or regular basis.
Key Resources
Here are some resources to help you learn more about your child care options:
If you’d like to learn more about your state or territory’s child care licensing requirements, be sure to use a trusted source of child care information, such as your state or territory’s child care consumer education website. To find your state or territory’s child care consumer education website or information about child care licensing, select your state or territory on the “See Your State’s Resources” page and review the “Understanding and Finding Child Care” tab.
Many states also have child care resource and referral agencies that can answer your questions about who should be licensed by phone, in person, online, or via email. Staff may also be able to provide you with more information about informal care options. To contact information for your local child care resource and referral agency, select your state or territory on the “See Your State’s Resources” page and review the “Understanding and Finding Child Care” tab.
To learn more about how to find and choose quality child care, visit the “How Do I Find and Choose Quality Child Care?” page.

Nanny at home

Often employers are looking for a person who is ready to work with their child on their territory. If you intend to provide services
babysitting at home
, then it is quite possible to find such a job. However, given the undoubted advantages of such employment, it is worth considering in advance the difficulties that you will have to face.
Preparing a house for the baby
Your home must be suitable for a small child. Main – room security . Outlets, corners, slamming doors, breakable and sharp objects, chemicals and accessibility of windows – it is important to eliminate all potential hazards.
Baby needs to be ready for daytime sleep special bed . You also need enough space to play. Think about where in your home children’s toys and educational aids will be located.
Cleanliness and order – the main thing in the house where there is a child. But be prepared for the fact that the little fidget will ruin your property. He may paint on the wallpaper or leave scratches on the floor while playing cars, or he may even break your favorite cup.
Let’s note the most difficult moments of selection of candidates:
The choice of employers is usually limited to the nearest microdistricts – this way it will be much easier for your employers to bring and pick up the child.
When filling out the questionnaire on the website or in personal communication with the child’s parents, explain with reason why they should leave the baby with you, despite the fact that the excellent apartment of the employers is located nearby. Remember that even with the best option, they will be forced to
pick up baby from babysitter and not “come home”, and therefore try to be convincing.
If you are not alone in the house, then the whole family should share your interest in the baby and be friendly. Of course, your loved ones in the house should not annoy the parents of the child.
The employer has the right to demand health certificates not only from you, but also from all family members.
Having animals in your home should suit your employers.
Be sure to discuss in detail with the parents what you will do when the child is sick or in other situations when the presence of the baby in your home will not be possible.
Infrequent job opportunities
In the case of occasional part-time jobs, most likely you will not need a specially equipped place for the baby to sleep and a full daily diet. However, in this case, the safety of the room for the child and the availability of a first-aid kit for children remain indispensable conditions.
There are employers who are interested in nannies who have the opportunity to pick up a child from kindergarten or school, bring him to his home, feed him, work out, follow the housework or take him for a walk.
Occasionally there are families who need a babysitter at home only for the morning hours. Most likely, you will have to work until daytime sleep with kids from 1 to 3 years old. In a few morning hours, moms have time to visit the pool, salon, fitness club, and even sit with a friend in a cafe. It also happens that mothers want to free up the second half of the day for themselves, after the daytime sleep of the child.
Nanny at home with her child
When planning to combine babysitting at home and raising your own baby, you must take into account several important points, the main of which is the maximum proximity of residence to the employer, ideally in a neighboring house. Interest in you will melt with every meter of city traffic. No one will go to you with their child through half the city, no matter how wonderful a nanny you are.
Even if you live in the same building and become best friends on the playground, disagreements and conflicts can arise between children. In addition, they can have completely different tastes and interests, daily routine, characters.
Ask yourself before you start working as a nanny, can you take into account the interests of each of the children? Will your own child jealously react to your attention to someone else’s baby? Will it be possible to combine the role of mother and educator? Are you psychologically ready for the daily quarrels and reconciliations of children? How will the walks together be, and will you be able to effectively look after two children? Who will replace you as a nanny if your own child gets sick? Will the children eat at the same time or at different hours? Will it be possible to observe the daily routine of your ward, taking into account the interests of your own child?

a ward of the same age as your own child. If you manage to negotiate with the employer and your children get along well, everyone will benefit – both children, who, of course, have more fun together, and adults who will be calm for them.
My 5 year old daughter loves playing on the computer. Last year we came across a few fun learning websites that she has had fun with, but she has been through the whole site over & over again so it was getting a little boring for her. I knew that the ABCmouse.com Early Learning Academy would be a great new site for her to play around on while learning at the same time!
“ABCmouse.com is where your children can learn important educational basics (often referred to as “the ABC’s”) through the use of a computer mouse, thus ABCmouse.com. At ABCmouse.com, the computer mouse comes to life as ABC Mouse, who serves as the site ambassador and guide to early learners everywhere.”
“ABCmouse.com is subscription-based, with no advertising, pop-up ads, or links to other sites. Children can learn and explore with their parents, or on their own (depending on age and ability), in a safe and secure online educational environment. ”
With their full online curriculum for preschoolers through kindergartners, ABCmouse.com has several activities to choose from. So not only is this a great site for my 5 year old to help her along with what she is learning in school, it is a great tool to prepare my 3 year old for when she starts preschool.
We signed up for ABCmouse.com and my girls wanted to play right away! The first thing we did was make an avatar for each of them. They had fun picking out their own clothes & choosing their hair style. I let my oldest daughter play on her own while I observed. She is pretty good at navigating the computer, so she would just click on what looked interesting to her.
This is the screen that we see a lot of.The white board on the back of the wall shows me which level my daughters are playing and which activities (within that level) have been completed. After all the activities are completed, they get to move up a level. If we click the fish tank on the right, my daughters can buy fish with the tickets they have collected (which come from completing activities). Some of the activities include: puzzles, coloring, music, math, & reading.
I love being able to let my kids play on the computer without worrying that they might come across something questionable. ABCmouse.com is online education that we will come back to again & again! There is so much to do & I don’t think my daughters will get tired of it anytime soon.

Referrals for preschool programs may come through Child Find or through transitions from Infants and Toddlers Programs. Services and supports for children with educational disabilities are identified by the Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team. Based upon individual student needs, preschool services are determined based upon the least restrictive environment, which may include:
The provision of speech-language services prior to enrollment in school at the child’s home school or community location,
A CCPS Preschool classroom,
A CCPS Pre-kindergarten classroom, or
Other locations based upon individual student needs.
The need for services in CCPS Preschools for children ages 3 – PK is determined by the IEP team. Preschool students with disabilities receive services in a classroom with typically developing peers. Locations are determined by attendance areas which currently include:
Bay View Elementary
Cecil Manor Elementary
Gilpin Manor Elementary
Holly Hall Elementary
Perryville Elementary
Rising Sun Elementary
Services for preschool students are based upon meeting the diverse needs of children with disabilities in the most appropriate environment, building positive relationships with children and families to enhance learning, and providing quality services through the use of developmentally appropriate best practices. communication “Locator” Prepared by: Strigunova A. Its essence is that the teacher builds relationships with children selectively. In particular, it focuses its attention on a group of 90,025 students (strong or, conversely, weak), as a locator, captures 90,025 precisely these students, leaving the rest without attention. The reasons for such an attitude may be different: the teacher is passionate about the children who are interested in his subject, gives them special assignments, involves them in circles and extracurricular work, not paying attention to the rest; the teacher is preoccupied with weak students, constantly deals with them , while losing sight of the rest of the students, hoping that they can handle everything themselves; does not know how to combine a frontal approach with an individual one. Negative consequences – at the lesson, an integral and continuous system of communication is not created, it is replaced by fragmented, situational interaction. The pattern of communication in the lesson is constantly torn, its integral rhythm is disturbed, there are interruptions in interpersonal interaction, which leads to destabilization of the socio-psychological basis of the lesson. 2 01 ID SIGNS SPEECHES 02 – Go away!
