About the Provider

Description:

At My School! We believe that planning successful programs goes beyond considering what is appropriate for a particular age group. Since all children are individually unique people; understanding each child’s individual growth pattern, personality, learning style, strengths, interests, experiences and family background is equally important to our teachers in developing a curriculum that is responsive to these individual differences. Learning is the result of interaction between the child’s thoughts and experiences with materials, ideas, and people. We are committed to providing experiences that will match a child’s developing abilities, while also challenging that child’s interest and understanding.

My School – Daycare in East Hampton, CT

About

My School!: Philosophy
We believe that a high quality children’s program provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of their families. All of our programs will be developmentally appropriate – both age appropriate and appropriate to the individual needs of each child.

Human development research indicates that there are universal, predictable sequences of growth and development that occur in children in the first nine years of life. These predictable changes occur in all domains of development – physical, emotional, social and cognitive. A comprehensive knowledge of typical development of children within the age span served by this program will provide a framework from which our teachers prepare the learning environment and plan appropriate experiences.

At My School! We believe that planning successful programs goes beyond considering what is appropriate for a particular age group. Since all children are individually unique; understanding each child’s growth pattern, personality, learning style, strengths, interests, experiences and family background is equally important to our teachers in developing a curriculum that is responsive to these individual differences. Learning is the result of interaction between the child’s thoughts and experiences with materials, ideas, and people. We are committed to providing experiences that will match a child’s developing abilities, while also challenging that child’s interest and understanding.

Simply spray onto your face, neck and décolleté and gently press in with your hands – no cotton pads required.

    Complementing your basic night care: give your skin some special treatment.

    What do you expect from a trip to the spa? A little break from the daily grind, relaxation and fresh impulses? This is exactly what our intensive treatments and conditioners do for your skin. They provide holistic and long-lasting support for the skin’s natural processes. Each Dr. Hauschka intensive treatment and conditioner provides different supportive care. All are designed to be used for 28 days – which is the time it takes for your skin to fully renew itself.

    Tips for good night time skin care.

    • Switching to Dr. Hauschka night care: give yourself and your skin some time.
      If you have been using a night cream up to now, the switch to a light serum may take some getting used to. During the transitional phase, you may notice some initial feelings of tightness. This is entirely normal, as the skin is rediscovering its natural balance and relearning how to regulate itself. You can help ease this transition by applying a nourishing face mask in the evening (please wash off before going to bed) and then nurturing your skin with a Renewing Night Conditioner.
    • Uniting body and mind: find your feel-good evening ritual.
      With Dr. Hauschka night time care, you know that your face is well cared for. But you are more than just your face. Your whole body appreciates attention and care – and your mind benefits from the relaxation that comes with it. A body oil provides soothing envelopment, while an evening foot bath helps you to let go of the day and check back in with yourself. And being at peace on the inside shines through on the outside.
    • Sleeping beauty.
      Who says you can’t go to bed beautiful? A little beauty ritual in the evening can go a long way. Dr. Hauschka Lip Care intensively pampers your lips while you sleep, our Neem Nail & Cuticle Pen works like an overnight manicure, and the Hydrating Foot Cream is a blessing for all those whose feet need some intensive nourishment after a busy day.

    Step 1: Cleanse.

    The evening facial cleanse is particularly important, as it perfectly prepares your skin for its nightly regeneration. It frees the skin from small dirt particles, sweat, sebum, make-up or sunscreen. Our products gently cleanse your skin without disrupting its natural hydrolipid mantle.

    The Ideal Night Skincare Routine, Explained

    There’s a kernel of truth to this whole “beauty rest” thing: During the night, your skin actually absorbs the nutrients in your products better than during the daytime, according to Parvaneh Rafaeloff, MD, medical doctor at Le Jolie Medi Spa. “Additionally, there aren’t environmental stressors at night (like environmental pollution and sun damage) while you sleep; products are able to better penetrate when you’re not wearing makeup while you sleep and the skin can breathe,” she adds.

    Your night skincare routine is mega important. And while there isn’t a one-size-fits-all routine, there is a foundational regimen that everyone should have in place. We went to the experts to see what they recommend for a basic night skincare routine. Keep reading to see their tips.

    Jiaqi Zhou/BYRDIE

    Step 1: Remove Your Makeup

    Sleeping in your makeup is a cardinal skincare sin, and usually, a cleanser isn’t enough to remove everything. Anna Guanche, MD, recommends starting your nighttime routine with a gentle makeup remover.

    Don’t want to use a water-based cleanser? Go for an oil-based one. Eyeliner, liquid lipstick, and mascara don’t stand a chance against a product like this one from Tata Harper.

    Step 2: Use a Gentle Cleanser

    No matter your skin type, a gentle cleanser that won’t strip your skin of natural oil and disrupt your skin’s microbiome (read: cause irritation) is essential, says Carl Thornfeldt, MD, practicing dermatologist and founder of the skincare line Epionce.

    CeraVe
    Hydrating Face Cleanser Face Wash for Normal to Dry Skin
    $15.00

    Both Thornfeldt and Adarsh Vijay Mudgil, MD, medical director of Mudgil Dermatology, recommend CeraVe for a solid drugstore cleanser.

    Step 3: Toner

    Toner is probably the most divisive of all skincare steps: People either swear by it, or they think it’s totally useless. Rafaeloff, for what it’s worth, is on the positive side of the great toner debate. “I recommend using toner, as it helps calibrate the skin—it helps balances pH levels, moisture levels (especially those who are prone to being on the oilier side),” she explains.

    Night skin care

    Skin care products: creams, masks, serums are an integral part of a woman’s ritual. True, while caring for our skin during the day, we often forget that at night our skin needs care and nourishment. In this article, we will explain why night care is needed and how to use it correctly.

    Why do you need night care?

    Night care is essential for smooth and fresh skin. If during the day the skin is aimed to effectively protect itself from the influence of negative environmental factors, then at night it needs to rest and restore its strength. At night, regenerative processes take place in the skin cells, new molecules are synthesized, the skin prepares for a new day. It is at night that our skin is ready to absorb the restoring active ingredients as much as possible.

    Night Care Steps

    Cleansing

    Be sure to remove makeup before going to bed. Clogged pores can lead to various cosmetic problems such as acne and dull complexion and premature aging. After the make-up removal procedure, wash your face with gelemo or foam to remove makeup residue.

    Toning

    After cleansing, refresh your face with tonic. It will increase the effectiveness of subsequent care.

    Nutrition

    In the cold season, when the apartments are heated, the skin dries quickly. Night creams, in general, have a thicker, more nourishing texture, contain natural oils and active ingredients aimed at restoring the skin at night. For maximum absorption, they must be applied to pre-cleansed skin around 21-22 pm. Try the night face cream The second birth of the skin or the night cream-elixir for the face Dream Cream from Black Pearl.

    Night Care Rules

    • Use the creams as directed

      It is no coincidence that manufacturers create separate evening and day creams. They have a different set of components and properties. For example, retinol or AHA are suitable for the skin at night, but during the day they can cause problems up to pigmentation. Night cosmetics are responsible for relaxation and detox. Therefore, you should never replace a night cream with a day cream and vice versa.

    • Apply Properly

      Any night care product should be applied no later than one hour before bedtime and only on clean skin. In addition to skin care, choose a nourishing lip balm that will hydrate and repair while you sleep.

    • Do not overdo it

      If you apply too much Night Cream on your face, you may notice puffiness in the morning. 15 minutes after applying the cream, blot your face with a tissue to remove excess.

    • After 30 – a night cream is needed

      The fact is that the older our skin, the less its ability to self-renew, so after the age of 30 you can not do without a night cream. At night, the skin rests, so it is ready to absorb the restoring active ingredients to the maximum. Night face cream 36+ lines Self-rejuvenation brand Black Pearl does an excellent job of caring for the skin at night.

    • Products from the same line

      In skin care , give preference to products from the same line, , so all the beneficial properties of each product will complement each other, increasing the effect of the application. Do not apply two different brands at the same time: for example, serum and cream, this can lead to an allergic reaction, since the concentration of active ingredients in night care products is higher.

    • Healthy sleep

      No matter how trite it may sound, the main thing in night skin care is a healthy 7-8 hour sleep. The better your night’s rest, the younger and more beautiful your skin will be. In addition, try to create the most comfortable conditions in the bedroom: if it is too hot or cold, the skin will experience stress, which will affect the quality of its renewal and morning radiance. An uncomfortable pillow can also lead to a problem with the skin of the face, the appearance of wrinkles or wrinkles. To keep your skin dry in the winter, get a humidifier. This will help keep your skin from drying out.

    How much cream do you need?

    Don’t put too much cream on your face. Excess cream will not be absorbed and will remain shiny on the face, even if your skin is normal or dry. If you realize that you applied more cream than you should, wait 15 minutes and blot the excess with a tissue.

    When to apply the cream?

    Apply the cream twice a day: morning and evening. In the morning, this should be done at least 15 minutes before makeup, otherwise the cream will not have time to be absorbed and prepare the “canvas” well, in the evening – at about 21-22 hours, so that by 23 hours, when the skin enters the active recovery phase, it will be provided with the necessary nutrients. substances. If you use a product with SPF, then you need to apply it on a moisturizer before makeup.

    What is the difference between a day cream and a night cream

    The main difference between these creams is that day creams are usually aimed at maintaining hydration and protecting the skin from external stressors, while night creams are designed to provide complete skin repair during sleep . Based on skin type and season, both day and night creams can be both rich and light. Therefore, always choose a cream based on the cosmetic needs of your skin.

    What is worth remembering?

    Before using a new cream, do a simple personal tolerance test, especially if you have sensitive skin, to make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients and that the cream is right for you.

    12

    questions about fat-free night care

    1

    Why is all Dr.

    Hauschka does not contain fat?

    Skin needs to be able to breathe freely at night to fully recover. Fatty foods can interfere with this process. Night care Dr. Fat-free, water-based Hauschka supports skin renewal and regulates metabolism without weighing down the skin.

    2

    Fat Free Night Care Suitable for all ages and skin conditions?

    Yes. Nighttime is used by the skin to rebuild and recover from daytime stresses. It is mature and very dry skin that especially needs vital energy and new impulses that stimulate its own activity.

    3

    How to begin the transition to Dr. Hauschka fat-free?

    The transition begins with a new attitude: This is a farewell to the motto “the more, the better help.” And gaining experience proving that when a fat-free product is applied at night, the skin automatically receives more attention and respect and finds its way back to its natural rhythm more easily. Such a position at first seems unusual. Therefore, to support the transition process and optimally adjust the skin to the Dr. Hauschka, we recommend that you first try the Revitalizing Night Care Concentrate or the Revitalizing Concentrate for Sensitive Skin in a short course of 28 days, after which the skin will be completely renewed and ready for the best use of the Dr. Hauschka. For clients and clients who do not wish to undergo treatment, the Night Care Serum is the ideal transition to a fat-free night care. After cleansing and firming in the evening, the Night Care Serum signals the skin to a new time of day. Our modern, often irregular life does not give such clear signals, and nighttime skin repair often suffers from this. In order to emphasize the qualitative differences between day and night, a caring mask applied in the early evening is also suitable. It relieves the fatigue of the working day and is a nourishing and protective final chord in care. When you remove the mask, your skin gets the opportunity to get rid of the signs of fatigue after a day’s work, breathe freely and begin to recover. Care by natural cosmetics specialist Dr. Hauschka will also help you get off to a good start. Your entire body awakens and becomes especially receptive to the nurturing impulses. In addition, you will receive advice on your personal care system, which will perfectly combine day and night care products.

    4

    Can the oil-free night care be used with a treatment mask, eye cream or lip treatment before bed?

    A mask applied in the early evening will help support the skin as it transitions from day to night. The main thing is to remove the mask – like any other fat-containing products – before going to bed with a cleansing milk and / or a cleansing face cream. Dr. Lip Care and Eye Cream. Hauschka are also intended for day care. But you can safely apply a night care serum to the area around the eyes or use an eye strain reliever. This water-based product also pairs well with a night care serum.

    5

    Is there an optimal time for the transition?

    Any evening is a good time to switch to a fat-free night treatment. To do this, you just need to be curious and make a decision: Now I will try this.

    6

    How will my skin change if I switch to oil-free night care?

    Skin wakes up visibly rested. She glows from within. A slight radiance of the skin of the face may appear, although you did not apply cream on it in the evening. You notice the effects of your skin’s nighttime metabolism – an observation you won’t be able to make with a treatment that contains fats.

    7

    If my skin is tight in the evening, is this a sign that I need a fat night cream?

    No. On the contrary, your skin shows you that it is mobile. That she wakes up and is increasingly involved in the recovery process. You should take the feeling of tightness as a good sign, and be sure that it will soon go away. The feeling of tightness appears only in the transitional phase, and, as a rule, completely disappears in the morning.

    8

    What can be done about the feeling of tightness in the evenings?

    Let that momentary feeling of tightness be with you for a while, give your skin time to readjust. With a care mask at the end of the day (to be removed before going to bed) or healing ampoules before bed, you help your skin return to its natural balance.

    9

    So far I have only cleansed and firmed my skin in the evening – what exactly will the night care serum give me as a third step?

    With the night care serum, the fat-free night care system is significantly expanded: Cleansing frees the skin, strengthening with facial tonic or tonic for problem skin gently awakens one’s own strength. Both stages are connected with each other and prepare the skin – open the gates into the night. After that, the skin is revitalized with a night care serum, thus we support its nightly renewal. If we imagined the rhythm of day and night as a swing that swings from one side to the other from day to night, then the night care serum would be the very “push” that transfers the skin from day to night. Clients who want to pay more attention to their skin in the evenings enjoy this extra step and make the transition from day to night even more consciously

    10

    When my skin wakes up after a nightly oil-free treatment, how can I support it in the morning?

    In the morning, cleanse the skin and free it from excess products of night metabolism that have formed on the outer layers of the skin. Then firm your skin with a facial toner or a problem skin toner. The skin is now optimally prepared for a protective day care. Depending on your skin condition, choose Dr. Hauschka.

    eleven

    Can my skin fully recover if I don’t get enough sleep at night?

    For the restoration of the skin, it is not so much the quantity that matters, but the quality of sleep. Not everyone needs a long sleep. You can even oversleep too much – this is familiar to everyone who wakes up with difficulty on a day off. Instead of counting the hours, find your own rhythm.

    Who is this specialist

    The word “recruiter” has deep roots. According to one version, it came from the Germans and means “hiring”, “recruitment”. Historians write that 400-500 years ago in Russia there were people who earned money by “calling” candidates for military service. A little later, the concept of “recruits” came into use – hired or recruited recruits, who, apparently, were selected by recruiters.

    Be that as it may, in the last century the word was revived, and now you can explain who a recruiter is in one phrase: this is a specialist who finds people capable of performing the tasks of the employer.

    The qualification directory of positions of managers, specialists and other employees does not contain such a thing as a recruiter, and the official name of the profession is “recruitment manager”.

    Nurturing, Responsible And Patient Nanny For All Aspects Of Child Care; With Overnight Availability

    Background Check

    I have cared for a family with two young children multiple times as needed, from 2009 to August 2010. When I cared for them, I stayed at their home. I would get them up in the morning and ready for the day. I would make breakfast and clean up. I would also do the children’s laundry. Our activitiesduring the day varied. The park and beach with a picnic lunch was very popular, as were reading stories, gardening, and coloring or other art projects. Children learn patience and listening skills when read to. Alphabet and counting books get kids ready for preschool or supplement what is learned. Age-appropriate board games teach rules and taking turns. Anything their parents request, we do. I enjoy being a nanny because in our current social environment, many women have the desire or need to pursue careers. My desire is to provide for that family in an atmosphere that duplicates their being at home. I want to give parents peace of mind knowing that when they leave their child will be safe….

We’d have worked with Hazy for many more years, but moved away. Asa sign of her commitment, Hazy continued to travel many hours to our new home for months. Hazy is fun, caring, loving and dedicated. She has a big heart and cared for our daughter as if she were her own grandchild. She can be fully trusted. Most importantly, our daughter loves and adores her! We could simply walk away in the mornings and know all would be well. Hazy communicates openly, shares a ton of ideas and is open to adjusting to a family’s unique habits. She understands being a nanny is more than a job, but a parenting partnership. She keeps a log of anything pertinent, creating a helpful and fun record of our daughter’s early months. For the past 5 years I have cared for infants and toddlers in a home setting supplemented by fun field trips to explore the wonders of life. I am vaccinated and boosted and completed an infant and toddler CPR course in NYC in March, 2020 and in March, 2017. Helping children move through differentstages of early development as they learn to sit, cral, walk, talk and use the potty are aspects of being a nanny which I love. The work has utilized my common sense and good judgement, my sense of humor, my love of adventure and the arts, my cooking, time management and organizational skills, and my interest in language and reading. My experience thus far has centered on ages 2 months to 3 years old….

    Recent Review:

    Bringing Ellen into our lives to care for our toddler daughter showed us how a caretaker goes above and beyond. Ellen was on time and prepared always. She was on schedule multiple times per week for the entireday, and the only reason we parted ways is because we moved far, otherwise I would have hired Ellen full time and wished to keep her for years.
    We hired Ellen at a time of transition for our family (pregnancy, moving and a bringing a newborn home). She helped my toddler daughter cope with huge changes in our daily lives. Moreover, she helped ME and my husband cope and keep our heads on straight throughout everything changing.
    A very special trait to note with Ellen is her flexibility and willingness to to accommodate our ever-changing needs. Between schedule changes and asking her for time, Ellen always made sure we were covered and she helped in every way she could.
    You will be hard pressed to find a caretaker who comes up with more fun filled activities. A true gem….

    Jessica was nanny to our two year old and eight month old for close to a year. She was always punctual (sometimes even early), loving and responsible. Not only that, she’s also smart and adaptable – forinstance, she would be aware if the schedule needs to change based on how the children are doing and provide feedback on what classes are good for the kids (even if it’s a far way to walk, if the class and teacher are good, she would be all for it). She’s a second mom to the kids as she would also be on a lookout if they were treated well by others and ensure they were always safe, confident and healthy.
    She’s also really fun and sociable, which allowed our kids to make a group of new friends around the neighborhood – we always joke that our kids have more friends than we do! She’d think of fun activities with them and proactively organize playdates. She would cook and prepare all the children’s meals as well.
    I felt completely at ease when I know my children are with Jessica, which is so important when both parents are working full-time. Any family would be lucky to have Jessica and we miss her dearly….

    Nanny FAQs

    The national typical hourly rate in 2022 is $20. 00 per hour for nannies. Nanny wages can vary based on years of experience, education level, certifications, and employment status (full-time or live-in). Because nannies typically work on a full-time basis, parents should expect to pay a weekly or monthly salary based on the hourly rate, and may also consider benefits like paid time off and health insurance. Learn more about how to set competitive rates for attracting the best nannies.

    The best way to find nannies near you is to post a job detailing your needs on Sittercity, which will be shared with our community of available nannies. We’ll notify you when nannies apply to your job, and from there you can proceed with interviews, background checks, and reference checks so you can find the perfect fit for your family.

    You can find experienced and passionate nannies near you to provide the best care for your child, either in-home or virtually. Nannies can help families with managing strict schedules, transportation to activities, homework help, household duties, and more. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, live-in, or temporary care, you can count on Sittercity for finding passionate and experienced nannies.

    Families find trustworthy nannies on Sittercity who are passionate about providing safe and enriching care for their children. Many nannies report they are First Aid and CPR certified to provide the best care for your family. Nannies have the option to complete regular background checks, and you can easily request a recent background check if they don’t have one or it is not recent. Families can also request to see professional references!

    Our dedicated team also champions safety across our platform every day. Nannies go through an identity verification process with Berbix when registering an account. Some additional safety measures include Family Watchdog screening, nanny reviews, and secure messaging.

    Nannies and babysitters share the same primary responsibility of providing safe and enriching care for your child, but there are a few differences between them. Nannies are more commonly associated with regular work, whether full or part-time, offering daily or consistent care to a particular family. There are also several different types of nannies, including au pairs, house managers, doulas, live-in, and overnight nannies.

    Babysitters, on the other hand, are typically hired for irregular or occasional work, either full or part-time. If you’re looking for last-minute care for date night, or the occasional few hours after school, a babysitter is a great best option.

    Identifying the type and frequency of child care you’ll need is the best way to decide whether a babysitter or nanny is a better fit for your family.

    Nannies on Sittercity love providing enriching experiences for your children, and sharing their passions with them. They’re happy to participate in outdoor activities like sports, or indoor activities like music, baking, tutoring help, and art. Wherever your child’s interests lie, nannies on Sittercity can engage them in a nurturing way.

    A small wooden house in the village of Kobrino in Gatchina attracts tourists from all over Russia. These places are the birthplace of Arina Rodionovna Yakovleva (by her husband – Matveeva) – the nanny of Alexander Pushkin. Her parents were serfs of Abram Hannibal. Mother’s name was Lukerya Kirillova, father’s name was Rodion Yakovlev. The girl was born in April 1758 and was the third child in the family (there were seven children in total). When she was 10 years old, her father died and left the family without a livelihood. At 24, Arina marries in the neighboring village of Kobrino and moves in with her husband. At 179In the year 5, the Hannibals allocate a hut to the family, where the spouses move with their children (Arina gave birth to four – Yegor, Nadezhda, Maria and Stefan). Later, when Arina Rodionovna began to nurse little Pushkin, she often visited the family. In 1796, together with the Pushkin family, the nanny moved to the capital. Her descendants remained to live in the house, during her lifetime she repeatedly visited these places. To this day, her house has not been preserved, but the hut that belonged to her relatives remained.

    In 1951, realizing the value of the house, local teacher Natalya Nyrkova buys it from the heirs of Arina Rodionovna and keeps it as habitable as possible. The opening of the museum took place largely thanks to the support of the senior researcher of the museum A. S. Pushkin, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Nina Granovskaya.

    On July 3, 1974, the museum opened. Exhibits for the exhibition were brought by residents of neighboring villages. Pushkin’s nanny’s house recreates the atmosphere of a simple village house from the time of Arina Rodionovna’s life. As soon as you enter, you immediately find yourself in the upper room. Dried herbs, brooms, bunches of fragrant dead wood are tied to the ceiling. A quarter of the room is occupied by a Russian stove, on which are clay pots for cooking. The atmosphere is ascetic – a table with wooden and birch bark utensils, a chest with things, an icon with a lamp, at the threshold – tools. Instead of chairs there are benches, a cradle hangs, there is a spinning wheel. In the house you can see a red sundress and a white jacket – a festive outfit of a peasant woman. The only thing that, according to the locals, belonged to Arina Rodionovna was a simple linen sack.

    The museum has a children’s group called “Keepers of Antiquity”. The exposition covers an area of about 40 square meters, the park area is 0.30 hectares. More than 18,000 people visit Pushkin’s nursery every year. The museum has 116 storage units.

    How to get from St. Petersburg to the house of Pushkin’s nanny:

    1. By train from the Baltiysky railway station to the Pribytkovo station, then walk 1.5 kilometers.
    2. By train from the Baltiysky railway station to Gatchina Varshavskaya station, then by bus No. 534, 151 or fixed-route taxi No. K-151D to Kobrino.

    Recently, many private remake museums have appeared. I don’t see anything wrong with that. New knowledge, immersion in history is always interesting. Several times on the way to Siverskaya (near St. Petersburg) we passed by the house of Pushkin’s nanny. And yesterday we decided to go there. This is the only museum in the world dedicated to a peasant serf.
    Arina Rodionovna was born into a family of serfs. She got married at 23. And at the age of 39, she was taken to the family of Pushkin’s parents to help raise children. By this time she had four children.
    In the museum we were told a lot of interesting things:
    – how much did a serf craftswoman, a girl or a serf man cost;
    – why the hut and bath were heated in black;
    – where did the letter F from the Russian language go;
    – what is the difference between a bench and a bench in a hut and on which of them they seated a dear guest, and on which they sat down for quick conversations;
    – what kind of porridge Pushkin liked;
    – what kind of pink pancakes Arina Rodionovna baked;
    – a jar of what kind of jam was on the table of Alexander Sergeevich;
    – fool and hail are not curses at all;
    – why is Ivanushka always the fool in fairy tales;
    – what signs are associated with the threshold of the house;
    – what bast shoes were woven from and how long they lasted, what was the difference between men’s and women’s bast shoes;
    – “gifted a ruble” – what is this ?;
    – how to swing the cradle along or across and why;
    – a whole story with girlish braids, ribbons, ponytail.
    We were shown a prototype of a complex lunch: “shchi and porridge are our food”. How much I went to museums of peasant life, I never saw double pots in museums! And the whorl, according to giving, beats better if it has an odd number of antennae. And how did the illiterate peasants consider these mustaches ?! We were also told this.

    Now under restoration

    June 2021

    At the time of the visit (June 2021) the house itself was under restoration. Naturally, he does not claim to be authentic – wooden houses are not preserved so much, there are more that the museum has not been there since the death of the nanny. Arina Rodionovna settled in this village after getting married. On the territory of the site there is an exhibition of wooden sculptures illustrating the tales of Alexander Sergeevich. And the administrative building can visit the exhibition. At this exhibition you will see the main exhibit of the collection – a handbag, according to a family legend, which belonged to the nanny herself. Drop by on the way to Siversky.

    Check the work of the house

    June 2021

    Razvodilovo!!! Souvenir shop. The house is brand new built. There is no historical log house at all. We bought tickets for viewing, only after that we were told that the house itself was closed for restoration and we would not get there. And we can see the exhibits of that time in the amount of as many as TWO pieces in this room next to the ticket office. Viewing did not take even five minutes. It’s good that we didn’t take the full tour, which costs about 1000 r. Well, we did not become indignant because of the cheapness of tickets. We decided that let there be a donation.

    Well, we wouldn’t go on purpose, but it’s a sin not to look along the way. The main exposition for money is in a neighboring building, excursions are now for money in the open air. Well, oh, a house, cool wooden sculptures, a gift shop.

    Small but interesting museum!

    Jan. 2020 • Family vacation

    A small museum is located on the site where Pushkin’s nanny used to live. The cottage has been restored. There are only 2 rooms inside, but it is very interesting to see how they used to live.
    We were lucky – we arrived at 2 o’clock and the main stream of tourists ended. Therefore, we were able to see everything without fuss.

    The museum is small but interesting!

    Nov. 2019

    Made a “sally” from St. Petersburg in one day to three museums. First – the Museum of Pushkin’s nanny Arina Rodionovna. It opens at 10:00. We arrived by “Lastochka” from the Baltic Station at 8=35 to Gatchina-Varshavskaya, and then – by bus to the village of Kobrino. Museum of the poet’s nanny – small, but “informative”. A lot of old peasant utensils, an interesting story of a caretaker girl. From this museum – with one transfer by bus – to the house-museum of the wonderful composer Isaac Schwartz in Siverskaya, which opens at 11:00.

    About the most famous nanny and her time 2019

    Autumn is the time to walk around “Pushkin” places. If you remember how this very small museum of everyday history began from the time of the country’s most famous nanny, then you will get great pleasure from the fact that it has “taken root” and people like it. Thanks to those who decided to create it and who maintain a lively warm atmosphere in this small house.

    Reopened after restoration

    dec. 2018

    The museum was opened after restoration, it’s a pity that the historical log cabin was not preserved, that the new log cabin was made of fresh wood, that modern tools were used. The result was a life-size model of the house. But this does not affect the professionalism of the staff, the activities and programs of the museum. I recommend visiting this museum with children.

    Staraya Melnitsa – this is the name of the village at the intersection of the Gatchina-Siverskaya road with the Suyda river. The landscape is pleasant, not quite usual for Leningrad. Somewhere not far (on the same road) is the house of Pushkin’s nanny.

    Forecast through 2024

    The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported 120,000 DBA positions in the US in 2014. They expect this to be an 11 percent increase by 2024 to 133,400 jobs. However, positions in data processing, hosting and related industries are expected to grow by 26 percent. This is due to the growing reliance on cloud computing and database as a service. Positions in the healthcare industry will increase significantly (7%) as medical records are digitized and databases are needed to store patient records.

    Conclusion

    DBAs are essential to making data accessible so it can be intelligently analyzed and used to move companies forward. Heavy demands are placed on big data, and the volume of data collected by enterprises continues to grow. Job growth should remain positive, and DBAs can improve earning potential by developing big data skills.
