Our experts designed our classrooms ‘” and every activity and
lesson ‘” to help prepare your child for success in school and
beyond. With designated learning centers such as dramatic play and
blocks in every classroom, children have the opportunity for rich
social play and child-initiated discovery. You’ll also find that
our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully
selected materials, written charts and labels, and children’s
literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print,
we’re helping develop early literacy and writing skills. Whether
your child has first words or first grade on the horizon, we’re
excited to show you how everything in our center is designed for
learning!
Here at Picardy KinderCare, the safety of our children and the
confidence of our parents are points of pride. We offer many
different safety features that will put your mind at ease while at
work. Before entering our building we have a keypad entry system,
where only our families enrolled have the entry code to enter the
building. We also enforce daily sign-in and strict parent/guardian
identification. Outside the building, we have four different fenced
playgrounds with an adult length latch to open the gate. Our center
is a peanut free school. All staff is CPR and First Aid certified.

The stadium itself looks fantastic. Entrance was no problem. As soon as we entered I noticed that their daiquiri stands have a nice big, probably expensive, sign with daiquiris misspelled horribly! nine0023 The seating was rough and painful. We had to stay scrunched together shoulder to shoulder. They really need to remove one seat per row. We didn’t have any really big people in our row. One was even a child, but it was incredibly tight and uncomfortable. The lines for the bathrooms and concessions were so long that I don’t think I have ever seen anything like it! The lines were also super slow. It took at least thirty minutes to do either.
Loved seeing Mike the Tiger right across the stadium in his beautiful habitat! nine0003

The greatest college football stadium of all?
Apr. 2022
In our travels, my wife and I have visited some of the grandest college football stadiums in the country, from Illinois to Michigan to Wisconsin to Notre Dame to Tennessee to Florida to Ole Miss to Georgia. Not to mention Soldier Field in Chicago and Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. But LSU’s Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, may top them all. Built in 1924, with a capacity of 12,000, its current capacity is 102,321, making it the third largest stadium in the Southeastern (SEC) Conference, the sixth largest stadium in the NCAA and the eighth largest stadium in the world. But that’s only the beginning. Tiger Stadium is widely recognized, by no less an authority that former Alabama coach Bear Bryant, as the “worst place in the world for a visiting team.” Often referred to as Death Valley, it has been described as “the loudest stadium in the country” and “the scariest place to play,” especially on Saturday night. Its reputation became legendary in 1959 when LSU’s Billy Cannon scored late on sensational 98-yard punt return and the top-ranked Tigers stopped third-rated Ole Miss at the goal line to escape with a 7-3 victory and claim the national championship. The stadium also includes the 8,000-square-foot Jeff Boss Locker Room with 126 lockers, LED lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, HDTVs and private lounges. And a 10,000-square-foot strength and conditioning facility and weight room with 28 multi-purpose power stations, 36 assorted selectorized machines and 10 dumbell stations along with assorted speed and agility equipment, treadmills, stationary bikes and elliptical cross trainers. In 2012, LSU approved an $80 million expansion in the south end zone upper deck that added 70 “Tiger Den” suites, 3,000 club seats and 1,500 general public seats. Before the 2017 season, Tiger Stadium added the “Skyline Club,” an open air “beer garden” located atop the south end zone upper deck for 1,500 thirsty fans. There’s nothing too good for Tiger fans. nine0003

Molto U.S.A.

Molto U.S.A. nine0003

Okay, just because you hate LSU football, does not mean Tiger Stadium is terrible. This is like me saying Bryant-Denny sucks, just because I hate Alabama football. It is nice and so is Tiger Stadium. The biggest thing about Tiger Stadium is you have to be in it, during a game, preferably an SEC game, to understand. It becomes its own living organism. The restrooms are not great, this is true and we have whined for ages. The concessions have gotten much better, especiaily in the last couple years when they added craft beer and some better foods. If you want to get in relatively cheap, there is an area called skyline club, yes it is a nose bleed, but food is included, which is great with kids. We had season tickets in the upper deck, front row, at about the 20 yard line. What is great about the first 12 or so rows in Tiger Stadium upper deck, is that they have actual chair seating, not a metal bench, but actual chairs. nine0003

For years I never saw the Dawgs win in La. The crowd was kind and gentle. A group next to own tailgate taught us the Freeze! I didn’t mention that Ronnie Milsap was from Georgia and went to Young Harris. But, I like their music and I liked their style. Stadium was clean. Concessions were very fast and good. I’m still a Dawg but I love Baton Rouge! nine0003

nine0006
Les Colognes Louis Vuitton’s airy summer fragrance line embodies the free spirit and waywardness of sunny American Los Angeles. This beautiful “city of angels” is famous for its unbridled energy and an indescribable sense of permissiveness that hovers everywhere here. After three debut editions, in 2020 the collection was replenished with another citrus unisex creation of Louis Vuitton California Dream. As before, the leading master perfumer of the elite French brand, the charismatic Jacques Cavallier, worked on the pyramid. The name of this charming novelty perfectly conveys the light airy atmosphere of the picturesque western coast of the ocean, where the smells of salty sea water mix with the greenery of palm leaves and juicy shades of ripe citrus. The perfume sketch reflects the beauty and majesty of the Californian sunset, with its warm watercolors and breathtaking panoramas. That is why the outer design of the Louis Vuitton California Dream perfume bottle is dominated by color combinations characteristic of this magical natural phenomenon. The pyramid of energetic and incendiary perfume turned out to be concise, but no less luxurious and mysterious.

What Questions Should I Ask a Child Care Provider?
What ages does Bright Horizons in Austin serve in its child care program?
Most of our Austin child care centers serve children ages six weeks to six years. Bright Horizons is more than daycare. We have programs with developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants, toddler, preschool and pre-K.
I’ve looked at other child care solutions in Austin with long waitlists. What if I want to enroll at a Austin Bright Horizons center but space is not available?
You can select and register with up to three Bright Horizons child care locations, including the center in which you are most interested. By registering, you are confirming interest in all three centers. Once registered, we will add you to our waitlist and offer you a space as soon as one becomes available. Our goal is to accommodate families as soon as space allows, and so during the entire process, we will keep in touch with you regarding your status. While waiting for a space to become available at the first-choice location, many families enroll at their second or third choices temporarily until space becomes available at their first-choice centers. Enrolling at another location will not only solve your immediate child care needs, but will provide you priority access to your first preference.
What is the background check process for all staff at Bright Horizons Austin child care centers?
Bright Horizons conducts comprehensive background checks on all prospective employees and frequent visitors. In Austin, the state of TX Department of Youth and Families requires background checks for employees of a daycare or licensed child care facility.
Bright Horizons background checks consist of a county criminal record check for the past seven years performed in all counties that a person has lived, worked or attended school. In addition to the county criminal search, a sex offender search, OFAC search, and a social security verification trace are also conducted.
Is it safe to send my child to a Austin child care or preschool?
Bright Horizons is trusted by parents in Austin, including many doctors and nurses, to care for their children. We’ve partnered with pediatric infectious disease specialist Dr. Kristin Moffitt of Boston Children’s Hospital to implement enhanced safety protocols for all areas including daily health screening, distancing, cleaning, and disinfecting. Our goal is to ensure that all of our health and safety practices in every center are in line with recommendations provided by the CDC and requirements of state and local municipalities. Our Austin centers have the well-being of children, families, and staff at their core.
Do Bright Horizons daycare centers follow state/local requirements for masking and vaccinations?
Where there are additional state or local requirements, for example around vaccination/masking, Bright Horizons also complies with applicable legal requirements in each jurisdiction in which we operate.
Are child care staff at Bright Horizons in Austin trained in CPR and First Aid?

Teaching fifth-grade social studies and U.S. history
Who recalls the dates of the Byzantine Empire? Or that the Ohlone Indians spoke one of the Utian languages? Details from social studies are easy to forget once we graduate to the real world. Still, such primers in history, geography, politics, and anthropology are crucial to our children’s education, even as early as the fifth grade.
How do you know if your child’s social studies curriculum stacks up? Check out our grade-by-grade milestones to understand your state and national standards.
Fifth-graders focus on the United States. Students begin with Native Americans, then study the 13 colonies, the American Revolution, the Civil War, and the building of a new nation. Because social studies includes the study of history, geography, economics, and civics, it is often integrated with other areas of the curriculum. For example, students might be expected to recreate a colonial-era newspaper for a language arts assignment, while a science lesson might focus on how Native Americans grew corn.
Students learn to explore cause-and-effect relationships; compare past and present events; and make and use timelines, graphs, charts, and maps to interpret historical data. Technology is often integrated, as students use the Internet to facilitate their learning.
Personal connections
Tonya Breland, a teacher who received the Milken Foundation National Educator Award, stresses the need to integrate social studies with children’s own experiences. “Children enjoy learning social studies most when it relates to their personal lives,” she says. “As they learn about the history of their state and the early history of our country, it is important that they see the connection to their own life and culture. Social studies is inclusive of culture, customs, traditions, and history.”
History of Native Americans
Children should learn about the Native Americans who lived throughout North America, studying their crops, hunting traditions, homes and structures, trading practices, and rituals and ceremonies.
Fifth-graders should understand how the geography of regions influenced the way tribes lived. Your child may read tales and creation myths and visit museums and art galleries to see Native American artifacts and paintings.
Early explorers
Fifth-graders learn about our country’s earliest explorers — their backgrounds, hardships, and motivations. Students should plan on comparing Native Americans to the explorers and understanding the impact the explorers had on Native cultures. They may chart the arrival of the explorers with a timeline and draw their routes on a map. Your child’s class may also study the westward movement.
Colonial connection
Students learn about the 13 colonies, including the story of how they were settled, the challenges colonists faced, and the routines of everyday life. Children learn about early settlers including John Smith and William Penn. Many teachers compare the individual colonies as well as colonial and modern-day life. Kids learn about the origins and development of slavery and the colonists’ relationship with Native Americans. Classes might perform plays depicting early colonial life or organize a trade fair.
The American Revolution
The American Revolution plays a central role in a fifth-grader’s education. Children should learn to explore the causes of the revolution, looking at the events and individuals involved, maybe looking at political cartoons from the time period or researching revolutionary leaders. Students will learn how the revolution was fought and won by studying its most important battles. Your child should be able to understand the difference between Loyalists (those who remained loyal to England) and Patriots (those who wanted independence). By reading historical novels and biographies from the time period, students can better understand the context surrounding the Declaration of Independence. Children might also participate in a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party or the ride of Paul Revere, and explore their effects on American history.
Establishing the new nation
Students should learn how a new nation grapples with the task of establishing itself by exploring the way the founders resolved problems. Your child might research the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Students will learn about the three branches of government (legislative, executive, and judicial) and study the inauguration of the first president, the development of the first political parties, and the way the nation’s standing in the world was affected by diplomacy and war. Children should be able to cite the contributions of major political leaders including Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. They should map the expansion of the country and learn about the Louisiana Purchase, the Lewis and Clark expedition, and pioneer life. Students might participate in a town meeting by discussing real problems and trying to solve them.
Civil War and Reconstruction
When it comes to the Civil War, students in fifth grade should be able to explain the causes, major events, and consequences. They’ll learn about key people, like Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses Grant, and important documents, such as the Emancipation Proclamation and Constitutional Amendments 13, 14, and 15. Teachers should include a lesson on Reconstruction plans and the social and economic impact of slavery. Students may take part in a debate of the war and read letters and biographies from the time.
Current events
Current events are front and center in many classrooms — children examine the news using TV programs, newspapers, or the Internet. Classrooms might discuss how events affect life, now and in the future, and may compare them to past events. Discussing current events raises students’ awareness of the world around them and helps them connect the present with history and with information learned in other subjects. Being conversant with current events improves students’ ability to think critically and analytically. Their comprehension of nonfiction topics will also be enhanced, not to mention their motivation to be a lifelong reader.
LEARNING FROM U.S. HISTORY – A fifth grade social studies curriculum
From the editors: As we approach the beginning of a new academic year, Not Even Past is delighted to introduce an important new resource for the teaching of History. Learning from US History: A Fifth Grade Social Studies Curriculum was designed and developed by two UT Professors, Dr. Daina Ramey Berry and Dr. Jennifer Keys Adair, and a doctoral student: Erin Green, MA.
This fifth grade U.S. history curriculum is built upon primary sources and is an alternative to textbooks that are often one-sided or politicized. This curriculum is one example of how historians and educators can work together to de-center a singular perspective and to offer elementary social studies with greater historical accuracy. This is a work-in-progress curriculum that will change as new primary sources emerge and historical interpretations shift.
The full curriculum can be accessed here.

Day Care Centers Site
More and more in today’s world both parents have employment and need suitable day care centers for their children. These early stages in a child’s life are very important to their growth and development. Choosing a good child day care center is vital, one where the adult won’t just plunk your children down in front of a soap opera all day and feed them Top Ramen. You should look for day care centers that provide learning programs and playtime for your child, along with a safe and healthy environment.
There are many different types of day care centers, ranging from basic nurseries to preschools that will provide more of a learning environment for your children. Some day care centers specialize in a specific age range, while others are more open. When you’re contemplating placing your child in a specific day care center, you should visit each one with your child. In this way, you can see how your child reacts to the other children who are there and to the caregiver. You want your child to be happy and comfortable.
While some day care centers provide a greater variety of activities than others, any good day care center is going to encourage positive interaction among all of the children. They will also have rules that promote good behavior, learning, manners, and child development. You certainly don’t want to have to worry that your child is going to develop bad habits from day care.

809 Coldwater Rd Murray, KY 42071 Phone Number: (270) 759-5425 Providing the child care and day care services:Day Care Center / Nursery, Child Care Provider
While you don’t need to go overboard in choosing suitable day care centers, you should approach the subject seriously and with thought. Your child is going to be spending a good-sized portion of his or her life in day cares and you want to make sure it is going to be a positive experience. Family is the most important thing in the world and you should make sure that your children are your first priority. When you are considering a day care center, you should look at where it is located and how much it costs. There’s not much sense in putting your son or daughter in daycare so that you can work full time and spending most of what you earn on the day care center’s tuitions and your travel expenses. If that’s the case, you might as well stay home with your child. However, if you do truly need the money, there are usually plenty of day care services available and it shouldn’t be too difficult to find one close by that is reasonably priced.
Different Kinds of Child day Care Centers
While child day care centers are common, there is such a huge demand for this service that there are now quite a variety of options available other than basic day care. These include the following:
Home child care or family childcare
Child care services
Preschool
Nursery
Home child care tends to be the most popular option because it is generally more affordable and a smaller environment. While some day care centers are quite large and can provide better early childhood education, it is also more difficult for each child to receive personal attention. Day care centers that are based out of someone’s home are usually more personal and your child can receive more care and nurturing. Most parents want their children to be receiving love and affection, the care that they themselves would give them. They don’t want a day care business that is merely going to make sure that their child is still alive and adequately healthy.
Home child care providers are also more adaptable, generally speaking. This means that if your child likes a certain song sung to them before they take their nap each day, the home care provider is more likely to be willing to do that than someone in a larger day care facility. Most adult home child care providers are parents themselves, making them better able to understand and love your child.
Other Things to Think About
One of the first steps you should take after picking out a family day care center that you think will be suitable for your child is do a little investigating. This can involve talking to the parents of the other children that use the child day care center to see what they think about it. You should also always check to make sure the child care service you are considering is legally licensed to operate in your state. Licensing officials check criminal records and ensure that the child care provider has emergency response training and a safe and healthy environment for the children. As mentioned earlier, it is a good idea to visit the child day care center that you are considering. You should do this at least a couple of times, and try to go at different times of the day so that you can get a better idea of what kind of schedule they have. This will help you to see how your own child would fit in. If you are having difficulties finding the appropriate child care environment for your son or daughter, there are some other options. Some people get family and friends to help out, while others hire a nanny. Adult nannies are a good option because they ensure that your child receives personal attention and quality child care. However, this also means that your child will not receive as much social interaction since he or she won’t have other children to play with like in a family day care center.
No matter what option you decide to go with, make sure that you know who you are leaving your child with. Meet them, get to know them, and let your child do the same. Do some research on the internet to make sure that no one has had negative experiences with the day care center you are considering. Check to make sure that they are legally licensed. Once you have done all of this, you can feel more confident and secure in knowing that you have chosen the right day care center for your child.
Switching Day Care Centers
Choosing Another Child Care Provider
So you want to switch day care providers for your kids but you don’t know where to start or what to choose among the plethora of options out there in this world. It is fittingly one of the most important decisions of a young parent’s journey due to the fact that a child’s first formative years up until the age of six is critical. It is important for parents to not just consider the monetary impact of these choices but also the emotional, intellectual, and social future impacts the choice of a day care provider will have on their kids in the long term future. So let’s discuss some general tips to consider for the parent and the child to consider when one is looking to switch day care providers within a short time frame.
First, you must consider the cost of attending some of the more prestigious and rigorous day care provider centers in your area. In some areas, let’s face the reality that the more money per month per child spent; the better the facilities and the educational value experience offered for your child. Things such as using smart boards and I Pad’s to enhance the learning experience is a very real possibility in these places. However, if a parent is budget conscious they can still afford this experience but it would mean cutting back on all or most non-necessity spending. This would include curbing your eating out habits as well as any leisure entertainment or travel activity and place that money instead into your child’s future day care home. If an expensive day care sees that you are making an effort to keep up with the payments; then they will be more willing to work with you and not let your child leave that place. For a child going to this environment, they need to consider whether or not they will fit into this environment, things like playtime, feeding time, and individual care of the staff- is it received well by the child? These will make the difference between choosing these ones or a cheaper alternative. Cheaper is not all bad if the quality and availability of care is there for your child in the first place.
Secondly, you need to consider your travel times and distance of day care relative to your work and other important places like the hospital, grocery store, bank, and places that you frequent on a daily basis. Is it near enough that you can get to your child should he/she become ill or need special attention so that the day care center can contact you and arrange a meeting with you the same day if needed.
Furthermore, you need to consider the overall cleanliness and friendliness of the day care center provider. Do not underestimate a clean environment for your kid to play and learn in with other kids. Your kid will enjoy making new friends in a clean and safe environment. Plus you as a parent will enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that your child will not be being home any unwanted germs and diseases into your house. Parents must also consider if there is a dispute over payment and care; how does the management and staff deal with such requests? If there is a lackadaisical approach to your core issues; then that is a bad prelude of things to come concerning your child’s care. Your child will probably feel like he/she is being neglected or not fed on time and will start to complain to you ever so slightly that something is not right. When they do, do not hesitate to take them out of that day care center and find another one immediately.
In a recessionary economy, it is okay and permissible for both parents and kids to demand the best care for their dollar. Make your day care dollar stretch by reading all of the material and brochures and visiting every day center on your list until you find that perfect fit for your child. It’s out there; it is just waiting on you to find it!
Child Care Options for Low Income Families
One of the most frustrating aspects of being a working citizen is not having the ability to afford childcare. The majority of day care facilities charge as much as $300 per week for each child. That amount is difficult for middle-class citizens to pay. Low-income families cannot fathom paying such an expense. Luckily, the government and the various states have developed programs that help low-income families get the childcare they deserve. The following is some information on those programs:
Extended Day Program
The extended day program can assist low-income working parents during the regular school year. Many school districts offer this program. The school keeps children before and after school hours for a small monthly fee. A parent can drop a child off as early as 7:00 a.m. and pick the child up as late as 6:00 p.m. This program is excellent for low-income workers with daytime weekday jobs. The cost is approximately $150 per month for before and after school. The weekly rate is approximately $37.50, which is extremely competitive.
The attendants participate in various activities with the children before and after school. They help the children with their homework so that the parents have less stress when they come home from work. They give the children a full breakfast in the morning program and a snack in the evening program. Parents can opt to pay for the morning program only, the evening program only, or both programs. The evening program is the more expensive of the two because it lasts so many hours after the school releases the children. The evening program is $100 while the morning program is $52.
The Child Care Assistance Program
CCAP is a special program that provides childcare assistance to certain low-income families. People who are collecting TANF are automatically eligible to receive this assistance. Teenage parents who are working on obtaining their educations are also eligible for CCAP. Those who are not collecting TANF can still qualify if they are pursuing education that will improve their work skills and job opportunities. Parents can apply for CCAP assistance with the Department of Children & Family Services. The financial guidelines for qualification are along the lines of a $3,000 per month income threshold for a four-person family. The applicant must have proof of income, social security cards, birth certificates, and immunization records for all children. Application processing can take up to 30 days.
Head Start
Head start is a program for children between the ages of three and five. The program provides childcare services and medical services to the children who qualify. It is funded by the Administration of Children’s Services. The Head Start program covers childcare from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Teachers work with the children to fine-tune their social and developmental skills. Those who are interested in the program may apply online. Applicants go on a waitlist until there is an available slot in the program. It is best for an interested person to complete an application as quickly as possible since the wait may be extended.
Child Care Voucher Program
The Child Care Voucher Program is in effect in many states throughout the United States. It provides a subsidy of up to 95 percent of childcare cost to low-income families. Subsidy recipients will choose an eligible provider from the list of licensed providers. They may also select a relative or an in-home provider. The Child Care Voucher Program covers the childcare from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. This is known as the traditional childcare period. However, the program also covers non-traditional times for parents who work odd shifts. It covers nights, weekends, and evenings.
A wide variety of options is available for low-income childcare. Many stay-at-home moms also run small day care businesses in which they discount their services. There is a way to make working and taking care of your children affordable.

The Unified Portal of Public Services is an electronic platform for remote interaction with government agencies. The tool is convenient in that it allows you to apply, order certificates, and so on, without visiting organizations at all. One of the available options is to enroll in a place in a preschool educational institution.
But various situations may arise when the application becomes irrelevant. Therefore, some parents have a question about how to refuse a kindergarten at the State Services, where an application was previously submitted, and how difficult this process will be. nine0003

We were given a garden. I wrote a refusal, arguing that it was far to carry. Two weeks later they gave me a place in a kindergarten, next to the house
Great, if so. We have an employee who solves such issues just came out of vacation today. let’s go tomorrow)))
I live in the city. I got in line at 5 gardens, some of which have branches that are far away for me. And of course they gave me a place in one of them. nine0003
dr in May. Complete set in May. I came for a ticket in July, without waiting for a call.
Wrote a refusal, they say far away. They tried to dissuade us, they say, we do not promise to provide it by September. They say change yourself with moms.
I did not agree. And in August they gave me a ticket to the garden I needed. Even chose from two.
We were told if they give us a place in the garden, and then we want another one, we will look for exchange options ourselves. nine0003
If you take a ticket, then, yes, look for the exchange yourself. And if you write a refusal, then they will offer other options, because. must provide everyone with places, they are counted for this. At least that’s how it is with us. Only I do not know how many times you can write a refusal. After the first refusal, they gave us the necessary garden, and in the middle of the school year
We were told if they give us a place in the garden, and then we want another one, we will look for exchange options ourselves. nine0003
I think it’s different everywhere. We moved to St. Petersburg, when our son was 3.5 years old, in the queue for the 3 nearest kindergartens, in the summer, when the distribution, we did not get in, we were in line 5, and became 17th. Six months later, they invited me to the kindergarten, which is 7 stops away from us, agreed and immediately stood in line for transfer to those that are near us.
Now we have been informed that they are taking us to a kindergarten near our house since September, although the RONO said that it is almost impossible to get a transfer at the age of 5. And yes, in this garden, where they take us, there was the longest queue. nine0003
Class. So you deserve it))) I thought the same thing: let them take it somewhere, in our area. the city is not big – the road to the farthest microdistrict takes 30 minutes. on public transport. This is not Peter))) I, by the way, studied there))) And there you can ask for a translation. So there are probably enough options for those who want to! Thank you!
Yes, they gave me a place in the middle of nowhere, and when I didn’t agree to go there, they told me to refuse the place altogether. Of course, I didn’t agree
Today we were asked to write the same refusal from this place. But she immediately said that it was necessary to make changes to the application and remove from the possible options what was not needed, but add what was possible. The queue at the time of granting a place will remain in the distribution of vouchers for the next time. in general, very nice, she said everything so calmly.

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Monroe KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)
Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
Spanish
Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
When it comes to school my daughter Sophia has been so excited and loves to see her friends and be in Mr. Peter’s class. Sophia reminds me that she needs to be at school by 930 so that she is on time for Circle time. Sophia loves to tell me the days of the week, the month and what year it is! She has such a wonderful connection with Mr. Peter that is evident when he greets us at drop off time in the morning. As her mom, to see my daughter coming into her own, and so happy, it makes me feel great and most of all comfortable. I can’t speak highly enough about KinderCare. I have to say thank you to Amy for accommodating Sophia and myself and for being so kind. It is refreshing to see smiling faces in the morning or when your picking up your child. I was also given flash cards by Mr. Peter. He made it clear that it is not suppose to be an assignment that puts pressure on the child but it is good to learn and go through the words. Well, my daughter took it and ran with it!! There were 5 words, 1 word on each card. She is able to say the word and put them into sentences. I love seeing her learn and I thought it was a great idea. Every day Sophia lets me know when it’s “homework” time! I just wanted to let you know how your facility is a great fit for my daughter. Thank you again!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the experience we have had with our son over the past year at KinderCare. As working parents, this center made the transition for me back to work after just a few weeks very smooth and comforting, knowing he was in good hands. Every day since, we drop off our son and he is super excited to see his friends in their classroom and recently the activity room! The daily feedback and constant communication between the teachers and parents have given us the ease and comfort to never have to worry about him while we are working and know he is in a place that is educating him both socially and mentally. The center is constantly changing things up and doing special events and programs that make each day unique and special. They always remember milestones and birthdays and send home keepsake artwork pieces that we will treasure forever. We feel truly lucky to have found such an amazing place to bring our child and feel 100% comfortable each day we drop him off and when we see his smiling face when we pick him up. Thank you so much to the fantastic & talented infant teachers for all your hard work & everything you do for our families.

Any time I have come to Ms. Amy Ms. Candace with a concern, they immediately take action. It’s comforting knowing that they really listen and react to feedback.

It’s never easy to drop your baby off at daycare for the first time, but leaving our daughter with the caring and devoted staff at KinderCare made this transition so much easier. Now looking back we can’t believe it’s been almost two years since we dropped her off for the first time and how much she has grown since then because of the love, caring and support of all her teachers.
Tim and Cristina S. – KinderCare Parent
Our three-year-old was sad at her former preschool. We switched to Monroe KinderCare and worried that the transition would be tough, but we needn’t have worried. Our girl has loved KinderCare from the first day. They treat her with respect, and give her autonomy, guidance, and both creative and energy outlets suitable for her age. Our whole family is happier now.
Lisa F. – KinderCare Parent
KinderCare is an amazing place for kids. The team here is very friendly and they always make sure that the kids are happy and comfortable. At the same time, the kids excel academically. My 18-month-old has been going here for the past three months and he can sing nursery rhymes, sing his ABC song, identify all the animals and their sounds, all parts of the body and many more. I have noticed a tremendous change in his vocabulary. He is always looking forward to go to the daycare, which is the best part. I used to call to check on him three times a day in his previous daycare but here, I don’t even bother checking on him because I know he is in the best hands. Ms. Amy, the center director, and Ms. Candace, the assistant center director, are two wonderful ladies. They have always accommodated our needs. A special thanks goes to my son’s teacher Ms. Veronica for taking such a good care of him. If I can give more than five stars to this place, I’d gladly do it!
Harini G. – KinderCare Parent
I wanted to thank you and the staff at Kinder Care for being so wonderful to Ronald. Even though he was there only one day a week, I truly feel he benefited from his experience. He was always excited to go to school his one day and I feel he enjoyed being around everyone at KinderCare.
Giovanna B. – KinderCare Parent
I love that my son Ben goes to KinderCare. It is a place where you feel safe dropping your child off. The staff is great with the kids and extremely professional. I would recommend KinderCare to anyone.

From the first moment, the receptivity that has been granted to us, with emphasis on the human and wonderful figure of its director Amy, who welcomed us with a safe, human, caring professionalism and aroused all the security we sought to deliver our little boy in his first experience beyond home. And protected by the attention, affection of the people who welcomed him, he adapted without any disorder or mismatch. Thanks for everything Kindercare Monroe. Thanks for introduced and inserted us in this wonderful and colorful children’s universe. They say that the first love we do not forget, but neither the first school experience. Then the feeling is of continuity of our home. Thank you for everything! Amy, for you especially, and for everyone, our affectionate embrace and gratitude.

freedom” Andrey Bartenev made an excellent exhibition about the artist Vlad Mamyshev-Monroe! We talked to him (and you have one day to watch it) — Meduza
In the Moscow gallery “Here on Taganka” on September 5, the exhibition “Flower-Semitsvetik. Our Unique Vladik Mamyshev-Monroe Korolevich. Vlad Mamyshev-Monroe (1969-2013) is one of the brightest artists and performance artists of post-Soviet art. His main creative method was the transformation into historical and fictional characters – from Marilyn Monroe and Lyubov Orlova to fairy tale characters and Adolf Hitler. The exposition includes the works of Mamyshev-Monroe himself, and the memories of his friends and colleagues. TV presenter Vladimir Raevsky spoke specifically for Meduza about Mamyshev-Monroe with another outstanding artist of this generation, exhibition curator Andrei Bartenev. nine0003
— How and when did you personally meet Vlad Mamyshev?
– 1992, these were Maslovka artists, “children of Maslovka”. They were all from Upper Maslovka, where the town of artists stands. There was a group “Ship” – [Nikolai] Prorokov, [Alexander] Shirnin, and also the Kanevsky brothers. They were, in my opinion, 17-20 years old. And since Sveta Vickers was friends with their parents, her parents simply arranged such a kindergarten at her [home]. And Vlad Monroe in full uniform of Marilyn Monroe fell into one of these home nursery parties. That’s how we got to know each other. nine0003
– Was he just someone’s friend?
– You know, at that time it was not like someone was someone’s friend. People went on a journey without bothering to know whether they were good friends to this or that house. Everything was spontaneous. There are springs, streams flow from them, streams flow into the river, the river connects with other rivers, and then it’s all in the sea, the ocean comes out. This is what life was like in the early 1990s in Moscow. There were simply centrifugal forces, and all sensitive people obeyed these invisible centrifugal forces. They just seemed to be sausage in a big washing machine – and that’s it. nine0003
– By the year 1992, when you first met Vlad, of course, you already imagined him?
— I didn’t know anything about Kuryokhin and Pop Mechanics, because in Moscow there was such a powerful, intensive educational system every second that washed out and didn’t leave a single millimeter of consciousness that was not captured by Moscow artists.

– So you didn’t know anything about Leningraders [which included Kuryokhin and Monroe]?
Nothing at all.
– Was it already normal to appear as Marilyn Monroe at a party?
– It was absolutely in the style of the 1990s. So I made a performance – “The cycle of Koryak waltzes”. All Maslov artists, by the way, took part in it. Violetta Litvinova appeared as a Koryak hammer. I went skiing with ski poles in a reindeer chiton. We had a muse – Lena Kadykina, and Lena played a Turkish tourist lost in the tundra, she had two huge bags tightly fastened to her hands. The prophets with Shirnin were portrayed as Koryak twins. I no longer remember which part of the body they were spliced: either with the hands or with the heads. So when Vlad appeared, he did not appear in an empty space. He materialized in a fast-moving, super-fast train. nine0003
– Did you become friends with Monroe?
– How could this not happen at all? Of course yes.
– And what was it like being friends with him?
— It was very easy for me. My nature is such that if a person does something unique and amazing, I will be the first to tell him about it. It doesn’t matter to me at all how this artist treats me and what place I occupy in his line of ranks. I was born in Norilsk, and this is Siberia, and there it is customary to praise people and that’s it. nine0003
– If you were asked to tell what kind of person Vlad Mamyshev-Monroe was, how would you describe him?
— I often think about it. The artist is an emotional organism through which humanity tests its emotional tolerances, through which humanity can see what a person is basically capable of. Energy accumulates in society, the static discharge of the artist breaks through it, and through his essence he shows the quality of this emotional discharge. Here he is in one second sweet, beautiful, handsome, charming, divine; at another second he is a devil, a seducer, a crook, a thief and a blackmailer. Of course, this can be passed off as Vladik using various stimulants. It’s true. But he had exactly this hypersensitivity, this membranousness – there is still no sound, but he already picks up invisible vibrations, and he is already starting to shake. The poster for his latest performance says: “There is a sadder story in the world than the story of Romeo and Juliet.” So, this is a story about Vlad Monroe. nine0003
Vlad Mamyshev-Monroe at the symposium “Psychoanalysis – Art – Philosophy”. 1993
Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe Foundation
— What are you talking about?
— Both fame and audience attention — there are a lot of things that the demon of temptation mimics. But he didn’t have this… I scold myself for only one thing: maybe during his lifetime I said so little about it. He knows how I treated him.
There was a period when he wrote letters of apology to everyone for all the bad things he had done. He wrote this letter to me, and I told him: “Vlad, my love and my admiration for your genius.” And we were always on “you”. nine0003
– Seriously?
– Yes, this was generally the practice of the 1990s. Everyone communicated with each other on “you”. “You” were said by very close people, if one gives a transfusion to another, and that one already consists of 70% of your blood. Well, I just told him that I was so in love with him and admired his talent and genius so much that all this everyday nonsense is nothing at all.
– Why did he decide to write such letters?
— There were several stories. For example, when he stole jewelry from Andrew Logan, and we were the producers of his show at the Studio club. It was such a pretentious club that loved me very much – they generally did everything for me, no matter what I came up with. They were ready for anything, because they wanted to become the modern “Studio 54” and called themselves “Studio” exactly for this reason. And so, we bring this star, Andrew Logan, from London, arrange his show. And Vladik Monroe takes 50 thousand pounds of all sorts of treasures – and just leaves the podium through the auditorium, turns off the phones, and no one knows anything. Of course, he immediately changed everything to drugs, went to St. Petersburg and said that “everyone has Andrew Logan, but I don’t, and now I have Andrew Logan.” nine0003
– He just took the work of Andrew Logan and took it, right?
— Yes. Such mini sculptures. He was all hung with them and still holding them in his hands.
— Lord. And who was ultimately responsible for this?
– Nobody. Andrew Logan forgave him everything later.
– You have a lot of notes at the exhibition when he very funny and touchingly asks someone for a loan. There was no talk that he would repay these debts, but did this repeat and continue?
– Yes. You know, if they told me if I want to correct Vladik Monroe and see another, correct version of Vladik Monroe, I would answer – no, I want to see Vladik Monroe the way he was. And if I had had more intelligence then, I would have started to play along with him in this.
– Do you understand something about the nature of his talent? Was it natural or intellectual?
– I’ll tell you this thing. Sergey Bugaev-Africa came to our exhibition. He and I went up to the walls where the backstage [in the photographs] printed by Seryozha Borisov is hung, this is 1990 or 1991 – he shot Vlad Monroe in the nude.
And Africa says to me: “Andrey, you know, I have a school bag that Vladik Monroe left me.” This briefcase is mentioned in the stories of [artist] Sergei Chernov. In 1986, he met [Monroe’s classmate Vlad] Babichev and Mamyshev on Nevsky Prospekt, who were walking along the shady side of Nevsky Prospekt. And Sergey Chernov invited them to participate in his performances, they agreed – then they were just with a portfolio. And this portfolio is kept by Sergey Bugaev-Afrika. nine0003
And he says to me: “Do you know what lies there? There is a wooden massager. You know those wooden massagers?” I tell him: “Yes.” Do you know, says Africa, why is he lying there? I say “No”. “His mom used this massager to make him the right boy.” And there is also a correspondence between the company commander and his mother about how crazy her son is, because he dressed up as Marilyn Monroe right in the army. He served in Baikonur – and there he dressed as a woman. He was commissioned and sent to a psychiatric hospital. nine0003
What is this struggle that started at that moment? I do not know. Of course, I see in this a great tragic breakdown, which suddenly began to work in him as a creative source. He gave him persuasiveness and strength. He had no other chance, he needed to realize himself among what captured him. Here he was captured by Marilyn Monroe – everything, he had to become the best Marilyn Monroe in order to get her sexuality and her magical power over the viewer. He took characters who had the magic to capture the audience. He seemed to be investigating the secret of how to capture the people. nine0003
– But he didn’t become that person, did he?
– Those hours, those minutes, while he was this character, he was. The Wizard of Oz.
– Do you know the answer to the sacramental question: why did Vlad Monroe love Marilyn Monroe so much?
– Tried to figure out the secret of her sexual energy, of course. And sexual power.
Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe as Marilyn Monroe
Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe Foundation
– And Lyubov Orlova?
– He painted her sunset, so it was very different from Marilyn Monroe. There is a lawyer who writes for Tatler magazine, [Alexander] Dobrovinsky, you know? He bought Lyubov Orlova’s dacha. And now, the program is coming out on Channel One. It is dedicated to Lyubov Orlova, and he is invited because he bought this dacha from the grandson of [Orlova’s husband, director Grigory] Aleksandrov. So he got the Orlova archive. Everyone knew that this archive was very interesting: there must be some footage there – no one knew about Lyubov Orlova that she was capable of this. And in this program on Channel One they say: “Sensation! Alexandrov filmed Lyubov Orlova in bed with other men. And they show on Channel One a photograph from Vladik Mamyshev-Monroe’s project, where he lies in bed with [collector] Larisa Gensler in St. Petersburg with a naked sailor. nine0003
— Well, no!
— Yes! Once there was an exhibition in the Manege. “Fashion, style, photography”. Olga Lvovna [Sviblova], then opens it – and the great-niece of Lyubov Orlova comes. He looks at the pictures and asks: “Why don’t I have these photos in my home album? I remember how, as a little girl, I stood at the head of this coffin. ” At this moment, she points to a picture where Vlad Monroe lies in a coffin in the form of Orlova.
Vlad Mamyshev-Monroe as Lyubov Orlova. From the series “Happy Love”
Vlad Mamyshev-Monroe in the series “Russian Questions”
– Where did he get the attraction to these Russian images? Tsareviches-Kings, Morozko, “The Russia We Lost”?
– It seems to me that nostalgia and rethinking of the entire Soviet heritage is Leningrad dregs. Absolutely Leningrad swamp dregs. As if the revolution of 1917 is still such a shock for St. Petersburg that there is some kind of super-Petersburg consciousness, a cloud of the city-palace, and it still cannot come to its senses. Therefore, then mushrooms, then mold, then some psychotropic herbs-buoys. nine0003
— Is it true that in the early 1990s there was another exhibition of Vlad, and there was a banner with him in the image of Hitler? And that Yury Luzhkov drove past this and ordered to take it off?
– Yes, it was just a project about 1995: “The Life of the Remarkable Monroes. ” It was on Bolshaya Yakimanka. It all hung in front of the French embassy: Napoleon, Lenin, Buddha, Jesus, Marilyn Monroe, Catherine, Peter – they all hung there.
– And Hitler was really removed?
– They said, in my opinion, to remove everything altogether. And they took it all off. But it hung for quite a long time, until Luzhkov drove by. nine0003
— How did Vlad meet his patroness Liza Berezovskaya?
– I don’t know. You need to call Lisa.
– Did he know Boris Abramovich?
– You should also ask Lisa. But you see, what incredible fateful coincidences: Vlad leaves, and after some time Boris Berezovsky leaves, literally a few months later.
– What was the story of the arson or fire in Liza’s apartment that everyone was talking about for some reason? nine0530
— There is one frame in our exposition. Liza Berezovskaya and Vlad Monroe are just standing there. Vlad as a devil and Lisa as a delicate flower. After this shooting, she leaves the keys for him, leaves to go skiing herself and says: “Please, live with me as long as you want. Eat, drink, enjoy whatever you want. But feed my dog and take her for a walk. And if you don’t go out, just clean up after the dog and that’s it.” He says: “Okay,” Lisa leaves.
And so, after another morning of clubbing, he decided to lie down. Stumbling over a mountain of dog poop, Vlad fell on the sofa, ash flew off his cigarette, and the sofa caught fire. This dog did not even have time to yelp, because its fluffy fur immediately flared up like fireworks in the air. How Vlad got out [of the fire] is not clear at all. Later, he said in broadcasts that the armored windows in the 800-meter apartment were covered with cracks, as if frost had run through before the New Year. And that the whole apartment was just black-black-black. And when the firefighters scraped off the corpse of the dog, it turned out to be just a bright white spot under it, as if the freshest snowflake had fallen on the black earth. nine0003
— What a horror.
— Yes. Like this. But there is another version told by [journalist] Sergei Sholokhov. After all this story, he called the fire specialists and asked: “How is Vladik more or less sane after the fire, no carbon monoxide affected him, but the dog …?” He was told that always, first of all, people die, and then animals. And vice versa never happens. And Sergei Sholokhov concluded that Vladik Monroe was of extraterrestrial origin. nine0003
– I don’t rule it out. Can you imagine him in today’s Russia in all its splendor?
– I – yes. You want to say that Vlad has to change, right? You see, for me, he is the standard of the norm. It would not be for him that they should come, but he should come to them. Do you understand? That’s the problem.
When all this happened, I had no desire to do anything. I actually thought: why should I do all this? And if you look, I stopped making performance art altogether. nine0003
– After Vlad’s death, after 2013?
– Gradually. His presence didn’t just disturb my perception of reality. And it didn’t even fill me with hope. No. His presence made me churn. He left, and that’s it: I simply have no one to be in a constant invisible discussion with. His spontaneity was an incredible drug for an inquisitive mind. Unpredictability. He was an unpredictable and unprincipled person.
– Do you feel that people like Vlad cannot appear now? nine0530
– Can’t.
Vlad Mamyshev-Monroe at the opening of the exhibition of his works “STARZZZ” in the gallery “D – 137”. 2005
Sergey Semenov / Kommersant
– But he was born in 1969, the same age as the stagnation.
– There is a simple factor: it is perestroika. The first period when the political system was looped on its own problems. They loosened control over the entire cultural environment, they were not up to it.
– Did many young people come to the exhibition about Vlad? nine0530

Bentley KinderCare Programs
Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!
A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.
Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
“KinderCare on Bentley Road is an exceptional place where children are first. I have one child, he is three-years-old and in the Preschool class. I am very happy with the level of quality care he receives. His classroom has exciting learning stations, art, family photos, and curriculum. I know the staff and I trust and respect them. I am always greeted at the door, and the center is clean. Ms. Cora and Ms. Jamelia are always available to address any concerns you have, or to just chat about the latest things going on in the center. The communication is great which helps the families and parents understand everything.”
Tameka – KinderCare Parent
I would like to complement the Bentley Road KinderCare. The teachers and director there are superior. I have been a preschool teacher and am now a parent of twin three year old boys. I have seen many different daycare centers and have interacted with different teachers. I can confidently say that the staff at Bentley Road KinderCare are wonderful for teaching my boys and making me feel comfortable everyday. They greet me with smiles, keep me informed on the day, and are always doing fun and educational activities. Thank you so much to Miss Anita-center director and all the teachers at KinderCare!

Frequently Asked Questions
What accreditations does KinderCare have?
We are your trusted caregiver. Our centers are state-licensed and regularly inspected to make sure everything meets or exceeds standards, including child-to-teacher ratios and safe facilities. Our centers aren’t just licensed—most are accredited, too! Find out more.
Do you offer part-time schedules at Bentley KinderCare?
Everybody’s schedule is different. We’re happy to offer quality, affordable part-time and full-time childcare. Drop-in care may also be available. Reach out to your Center Director to learn more.
How does naptime work at Bentley KinderCare?
Our teachers meet every child’s needs during naptime. Our teachers know how to get babies to nap. In fact, they are pros at getting children of any age to nap. Visit our article on “10 Ways We Help Kids Get a Great Daycare Nap” to learn more.
Do you support alternative diets?
We strive to be as inclusive as possible. To that point, we provide a vegetarian option at mealtime, take care to not serve common allergens and can adapt menus based on your child’s food sensitivities. If your child has additional needs, we’ll work with you to figure out a plan.
Are meals included in tuition? Can I choose to send my child with lunch?
We provide nutritious meals and snacks developed by a registered dietician to meet the needs of rapidly growing bodies and minds. If your child has special dietary requirements and you would prefer to bring in their lunch, please make arrangements with the center director.
Does my child need to be potty-trained?
Every child begins toilet learning at a different age. Until your child shows an interest in toilet learning, we’ll provide diaper changes on an as-needed basis. When your child shows an interest, we’ll discuss how to work together to encourage toilet learning.
