This weekend, go see cherry blossoms or orchids, test your knowledge of the Russian language, take part in a vegan parade, and if you want something hot, try hot sauces at a special festival.

On April 13, from 1 pm to 5 pm, you can watch how pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) are painted. The drawings will be made by artists using resistive wax batik. In addition, you can watch a 14-minute film about Easter eggs and visit an exhibition of Easter eggs in the Ukrainian Museum. Details are here.

On Saturday, April 13, you will be able to take part in a beer festival. This time in Jersey City. A ticket to Jersey City Craft Brew Fest includes beer and cider tasting, live music, interactive games and food at the Harborside Plaza in Jersey City, NJ for over 21s. Held in April and November.
