Daily Skill Building: Vocabulary

Are you looking for an independent open-and-go curriculum that will enhance your student’s vocabulary? Daily Skill Building: Vocabulary is a complete, 36-week vocabulary curriculum for grades 1-7. This simple, straight-forward approach to vocabulary building is easy to use and encourages independent study. The format is designed to be flexible — meaning  you can assign more than one word a day if you wish to complete it sooner.

Volume 7 is for 7th grade. The Second Edition has 202 pages in black and white to save on ink.

Each week presents four new words (one per day) with a weekly review on day five. Your student will be asked to define the new word using a dictionary, use it in a sentence, and list synonyms and antonyms. Every 4th week includes an additional review using the most recent 16 words studied plus a short writing assignment (for grades 1-3 this is 2 sentences and an area to draw an illustration. Grades 4-7 require more writing). You can see the sample of the unit review for this level by clicking the button above.

For your convenience, we include a glossary of words by week and order studied. Students may use either the glossary for their daily assignments or a dictionary. We recommend the Webster’s For Students Dictionary/Thesaurus set as well as thesaurus.com and dictionary.com.

Vocabulary Cards

There are two formats for the Vocabulary Cards that accompany each Volume of Daily Skill Building: Vocabulary. The first format includes the word, along with the week and day for easy reference, as well as the definition. The second card has the word, along with the week and day and blank lines for the student to write the definition. The Vocabulary Cards can be laminated for durability and used for retention and review.

Daily Skill Building: Spelling

Daily Skill Building: Spelling is a complete 36-week spelling curriculum created as a companion for our Daily Skill Building: Vocabulary Series.

Formatted for a 5-day schedule with printables for extra practice:
  • copywork
  • write & draw
  • alphabetization exercises
  • pretests
  • and more!

Daily Skill Building: Spelling will broaden both verbal and written skills—PLUS increase your student’s dictionary and thesaurus knowledge.

No need for a teacher’s guide. Just like our vocabulary curriculum, Daily Skill Building: Spelling is an easy to use, “open-and-go” resource.

How to quickly learn new words in English

From this article you will learn how many words you need to know, where to get them, what resources and services to use, how to learn such a large volume. Use at least a few tips to expand your vocabulary.

The more information a person knows, the better he understands what the characters in the movie or TV series are talking about, what is written on the plates of museums and art galleries, and also how fair and profitable the terms of the transaction are provided by our American partners. This article contains the most popular and effective tips to help you increase your vocabulary.

  1. Determining vocabulary
  2. How to improve vocabulary
  3. Educational services and applications
  4. Helpful Tips for Learning English Words

Determine vocabulary size

Before starting, it is recommended to test your own vocabulary by taking the Online English Vocabulary Size Test or Test Your Vocab. It will determine your approximate vocabulary, which you can compare with the average for native English speakers and newcomers to learning. The average is 3,000-4,000 words. This will be enough for communication on a variety of topics.

However, it’s important to know that you shouldn’t rely entirely on test results. Third-party services only provide a rough estimate of your vocabulary for online English lessons in 8th grade.

English words that everyone should know can be divided into 2 large blocks:

  • The basic vocabulary that is necessary for understanding English speech. There are standard directions, for example, “Polite treatment”, “Family”, “Food” – everyone should know them, regardless of the level of English.
  • Words that you will need. If you are learning English for work, learn general business terminology or more specific terminology for your field of activity, such as IT, industry, etc. If you are planning a large-scale trip around the world, learn colloquial phrases for tourists.

You won’t be able to master all of the vocabulary anyway, and you shouldn’t try to. Do you need medical terminology if you are not a doctor? You can consult with an experienced English teacher, he will tell you exactly what you need to pay attention to for English online classes in grade 8.

How to improve vocabulary

Favorite movies, series, songs, podcasts, books

This method is good because you memorize the words and enjoy the process. If you already watch TV shows in English, take the vocabulary from them.

There are many services for English learners. For example, if you watch movies with subtitles, you can click on an incomprehensible word at any time, and it will automatically be translated exactly in the context that was mentioned. You will be able to create a complete database of new words.

You can find the texts of almost all English compositions on the Amalgam service. Another way is to enter the title of the work and add the word “lyrics” at the end. It is also recommended to listen to podcasts, audio series and radio shows and other educational materials.

Special textbooks

Vocabulary books help you learn new words and the context in which they are used. The manuals are useful in that they have lists of words along with practical examples of their use, which allows you to learn words in a specific context. English online classes 8th grade. Such special textbooks are publicly available on the Internet.

Lists or dictionaries of high-frequency words

There are words in the English language that many learn by heart, but in fact these phrases have long been out of use. It will not work to independently understand whether certain words are needed for study.

The Oxford 3000 British Dictionary and The Oxford 3000 American Dictionary lists should be used. They list the 3,000 most important words that every English learner should know. They were carefully selected by linguists and experienced English teachers. To recognize these phrases, you can use the functions of the service.

Word cards

This is an old but still effective way to increase your vocabulary. Everyone who has studied English at least once made cards with words and tried to learn them by heart. You make up such cards yourself, draw up as you wish. The fact that you make them yourself increases the chance of learning them faster.

When compiling cards, use an English dictionary and follow these tips:

  • select a translation, preferably with several meanings, if any;
  • find standard phrases in which the word can be used;
  • study the examples and try to remember them.

The next step is to determine whether you will make vocabulary cards in paper or electronic form. Below are examples of both cases.

Paper cards

Color blocks are recommended (each color corresponds to a theme). For beginners, the following plan is suitable:

The word in English is written on one side of the sheet, and in Russian on the other. Test your knowledge: translate a word from Russian into English and vice versa without a hint.

The first card

On the one hand, a word is written in English and a picture is pasted, on the other hand, a translation into Russian. This method is great for students with associative thinking. In your mind, you combine a new English word and the subject that it stands for English online class 8th grade.

Second card

On the one hand, a word in English with a Russian context is written, on the other hand, a word in Russian without a context. When repeating vocabulary, try to translate the concept from Russian into English. And with the translation in the opposite direction, the second side of the card with the Russian context will help you.

Third card

More advanced students are encouraged to use English-English dictionaries such as the Macmillan Dictionary. On one side is written the word in English, on the other – its definition in English. You can optionally specify synonyms and antonyms for this definition.

Fourth card

Remember English words best in context. Therefore, you can write on the card not only a word, but a full-fledged sentence in which it is used. Examples of sentences can be found in electronic dictionaries, such as ABBYY Lingvo.

E-cards

If you spend a lot of time at the computer, use this as an opportunity to learn English: create digital stickers with words on your desktop and in a few days you will remember them well.

To create electronic vocabulary cards, it is recommended to use the Quizlet program, which allows you to learn new words in various ways: select the correct translation from four options, fill in gaps in sentences and play vocabulary games. You can also track your progress: which words are especially difficult for you, how quickly you learn new material. There are apps for Android and iOS.

Alternative service – Memrise. Its free version has limited functionality, but it will be enough for compiling vocabulary cards.

You should work with the cards regularly: watch and repeat the learned vocabulary. Periodically change the cards to new ones, and after 1-2 weeks, look at the old ones again to check your memory.

Dictionary notebook

This method is good for those who constantly lose something: You can easily forget where the cards are. Structure your notebook however you like. For example, each page corresponds to a specific day. The dates of repetition of the studied words are written at the top. In order for the vocabulary being studied to be well entrenched in memory, do not forget to practice regularly.

Mind map

You will quickly learn English words in one area if you draw a mind map. Such a scheme visually shows which topic the words belong to. In the meantime, you draw it, the vocabulary will be deposited in memory.

Mind map

It is recommended to use the Coggle service to create such schemes. You can share the result with other students, as well as download mind maps in pdf or png.

Educational services and applications

Study on learning resources such as s enroll your child in a free introductory lesson where they will meet the teacher, play some games and learn that learning English is a lot of fun.

Sign up for an introductory lesson

On your way to school, work or while walking your dog, use every spare moment to learn new words. Useful services for any mobile device can be found in free sources.

If you practice 10-20 minutes every day, you will quickly notice progress. The main thing is not to stop at the achieved result.

Useful tips on how to learn English words most effectively

1. General topics

Groups of words related to specific topics are usually well remembered. Therefore, try to break words into groups of 5-10 pieces and learn them in a common block. If you notice the connection between them, it will be easier for you to remember them.

There is the so-called Restorff effect, according to which the human brain best remembers the most prominent one from a group of objects. Put this effect into practice when learning new words: write down an inappropriate phrase in a group of words on one subject – enter a word from a completely different subject. For example, when studying words on the topic “Fruit”, add one word from the topic “Transport” to them, in this way your classes will become more effective.

2. Association and personalization

This method is popular with students: in order to learn a new word, you should come up with an association in your native language. For example, you need to remember the word obstinacy (stubbornness). We break it into 3 syllables: ob-stin-acy, and we get “stubborn, like a donkey against a wall.” The word shoot (to shoot) can be remembered as “the jester shoots.” Make up any associations yourself, the main thing is that you yourself can figure them out without much thought. If you yourself will think about how to remember a certain word, it will be much easier for you.

Learning will be effective if you not only determine the word association, but also visualize it: for example, when you say the word shoot, imagine this shooting jester in your head, even if the picture is funny – this is only an advantage. Ideally, if you come up with a dynamic picture with your personal presence: for example, you imagine how the jester is standing next to you and shooting at another person (with a water pistol, so that the spectacle comes out comical, not tragic). The more alive the picture, the easier it will be to remember the word.

3. Using learned vocabulary in speech

If you have trouble learning new words, use the use it or lose it principle. To keep new knowledge in memory, it is recommended to actively apply it in practice. Make up short stories with new words and phrases. Vocabulary that is used in a short and funny context, written personally about you or your favorite things, is best remembered.

If you are attending an 8th grade English course or with a teacher, try to use words frequently in formal or informal conversation: the more often you say a word, the faster it will stick in your memory. Do not forget also about grammar: try to use new words and write English online classes 8th grade.

4. Regular tests and checks

It is recommended to periodically take different tests to determine the level of vocabulary. For example, excellent tests with pictures (they will be especially effective for beginners and visuals – those who perfectly perceive visual information) are on the Vocabulary for learners of English service. After passing such a test, you will immediately determine what you remember, and which topics or words need to be worked out again or repeated.

5. Making a daily plan

The average number of words you need to learn per day is 5-10. It is not worth increasing the volume, otherwise you will not be able to remember all the studied phrases. Try to follow such a daily plan, and you will quickly see progress in English online classes 8th grade.

6. Fun and Pleasure

At engvid.com, native English speakers explain complex material in a simplified and entertaining way, making new information easier to remember.

At newsinlevels.com, every piece of news is adapted to different levels of English proficiency, and detailed explanations are given for each difficult word.

Expand your English vocabulary through fun activities such as crossword puzzles, gallows games, etc. You will find a lot of entertainment on the services Have Fun Learning English and Vocabulary exercises.

7. Development of memory

It is impossible to remember information if you have an insufficiently developed memory. Learning English in itself is great for training the brain and improving memory. However, to facilitate perception, you can use tips for the simple development of memory and thinking.

8. Determining the type of perception of information

Not all methods will suit you. Don’t use all the tips at once. Try text, video or audio formats and choose the ones that help you remember new phrases faster. You will be able to draw up an individual plan for learning English online classes 8th grade.

The main rule for learning English is to apply theoretical knowledge in practice as often as possible. Wal-Mart will increase the salaries of 500,000 employees – Business – Kommersant

Yesterday, the world’s largest retailer Wal-Mart Stores announced that it is going to increase the salaries of 500,000 employees, that is, approximately 40% of the company’s total number of employees (about 1 .3 million). The minimum wage at the company will be $9 an hour from April this year and $10 from February 2016.

    Photo: Reuters

American retailer Wal-Mart Stores will increase the salaries of 40% of its employees. This was reported in the company’s report for the fourth quarter, published yesterday. The company will increase the salaries of approximately 500 thousand of the lowest paid employees. “Approximately 500,000 full-time and part-time employees at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Clubs will receive pay increases in the first half of this fiscal year. Current and future Wal-Mart employees will benefit from this initiative, which ensures that Wal-Mart employees receive at least $1.75 an hour more than the statutory minimum wage, or $9, from April.at one o’clock. Next year, effective February 1, 2016, current employees will receive at least $10 an hour,” the statement said. For full-time employees, the minimum wage will be $13 an hour.

Wal-Mart’s current minimum wage is the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. Even after the increase, the company’s salary will still be below the industry average – according to the Department of Labor, it is $14.65. Throughout the past year, Wal-Mart employees have staged numerous protests and strikes demanding the minimum wage be raised to $15 an hour. Joel Naroff, Senior Economist at Naroff Ecomonic Advisors, said: “Wal-Mart’s decision to raise wages is evidence that the job market is tight. This action creates a gap between wages here and those of other players, and others may need to follow suit in order to retain workers and attract new ones.” In January of this year, the unemployment rate fell to 5.7%, a year earlier it was 6.6%.

According to the report, Wal-Mart’s revenue grew 1.4% to $131.6 billion in the fourth quarter ended January 30, and revenue grew 2% to $485.7 billion in 2014. Fourth Quarter Net Income amounted to $5 billion (an increase of 12.1%), and for the year – $16.4 billion (an increase of 1.2%). In 2014, sales of the division specializing in e-commerce increased significantly, by 22%, to $12.2 billion.

    Middletown – Bright & Early

Serving the Middletown community since 1997.

Bright & Early Middletown, our flagship center, opened in 1997. This center is proud to be a NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) Accredited center, which promotes high-quality learning by connecting practice, policy, and research. After establishing roots and a great reputation in the community, it was obvious that the Bright & Early concept was meant to grow. As more locations were added throughout Connecticut, our Middletown center remains the founding center we are so proud of. Some of our teachers in Middletown have been with us over twenty years, and we’ve enjoyed a strong relationship with the Middletown Board of Education, through whom we participate in the acclaimed Middletown School Readiness Program. The Middletown center has been open over twenty five years, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the facility itself. Our company-owned building has been well-maintained and updated through the years to be state of the art.

    About Our Middletown Center

Warm, natural light shines into our brightly appointed classrooms through large windows, providing a sunny environment. Each of our infant and toddler classrooms has plenty of space for up to 8 children with two teachers, while our preschool classrooms fit up to 10 children with one teacher, or 20 children with two teachers. Our indoor gym, equipped with an ever-popular climbing wall, is perfect for large motor play on rainy or extra-cold days. Outdoors, we have three separate playgrounds for young toddlers, toddlers, and preschoolers, respectively. All of these areas are secure with safety gates, and the playgrounds are outfitted with nationally acclaimed, age-appropriate equipment and shaded structures to protect children from the sun. There are grassy areas for children to run around on, and the preschool playground even has a gazebo!

We value your convenience. Parking spaces are close to the entrance for safe, easy drop-off and pick-up. If you need to leave your child’s car seat at the center, there is a designated area for this purpose.

We value security. A key fob entry system allows access to the center exclusively for enrolled families and staff. There is also a fingerprint check-in system located in the reception area. An extensive camera system monitors every classroom, hall, entrance, and outdoor play area, and its video feed is viewed throughout the day by the director.

Opening or Buying a Child Care Center

Opening or Buying a Child Care Center

It is important to realize a child care center is a business. In Oklahoma, you must have a license to operate a child care center business. You will have start-up costs such as costs to meet licensing requirements, fire and safety codes, rent, equipment and supplies, insurance, personnel, marketing, etc.

You may be buying an existing center, but you are not buying their license, their Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) contract or the children enrolled. Children are not a commodity that can be sold or purchased. So, in most circumstances, whether you start a new center, or buy one, the first year will be a period of low enrollment.

This means for the first few months you may be bringing in insufficient income to meet your expenses. You need to plan for this. There are many resources available online and through the local Resource and Referral agencies to assist you in the business side of owning and operating a child care center.

The following information is designed to help you take the necessary steps from applying for a license to applying to contract with DHS. DHS staff are committed to making these processes occur as quickly as possible.

It is important all DHS staff involved (Licensing Specialists, Stars Outreach Specialists and Child Care Liaisons) be notified at least 30 days before the effective date of any change or transaction, such as change in ownership, legal status or location. It does take time to complete the steps below, therefore you should prepare accordingly:

Your DHS Child Care Licensing Specialist will assist you with getting a permit. A permit is usually recommended when you have provided and met the following:

When a permit is recommended, it is not “official” until it has been approved by both the licensing supervisor and the Oklahoma Child Care Services State Office. Once approved, you automatically receive a one-star rating. However, you must be a 1+ star or higher to be eligible to contract with DHS to be paid for child care services.

For more information on obtaining a child care center permit or license, please contact your local licensing office.

During this step, you can also be filling out your Stars application and working on meeting the criteria (such as getting training) you will need to qualify for a higher star rating.

    Step 2: Stars Criteria

Note: You must be on permit or license to qualify for a higher star rating.

A higher star status can be recommended when you have provided documentation that shows you meet the following criteria:

    1+ Star

For more information on getting a higher star level, please contact your local Stars Outreach Specialist.

Step 3: Contract with DHS for Child Care Subsidy

Many working families are eligible for assistance through DHS for the cost of child care. DHS contracts with child care providers to help eligible families pay these costs. Contracting with DHS allows more families to be able to select your facility.

Before a contract can be signed and approved for a child care center, providers must have an DHS permit or license and have attained at least a 1+ Star rating.

You must have a land line phone. The contract application process includes:

The training video you will view includes information about:

Contracts are approved or denied by staff in the State Office, Adult and Family Services, Child Care Unit. The effective date of a contract is never earlier than the date it is approved and signed in the State Office. A contract is never backdated.

If you care for children who are eligible for DHS subsidy before your contract is effective, DHS will not pay you for those days. The parent is responsible for paying the full cost of care. The parent also is responsible for the cost of care provided before the date that parent is approved for child care assistance. You will receive a Notice of Action after child care is approved at your facility.

After being approved for a contract, child care providers must use the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) attendance tracking and payment system to receive subsidy payments from DHS.

If you enter into a collaboration or agreement with Head Start, Early Head Start, public schools, 21st Century Learning Center or any other program receiving state of federal funds, you must call the DHS Adult and Family Services, Child Care Unit at (405) 521-3931 within 30 days to report that agreement. You cannot receive payment from DHS for the same hours covered by that collaboration or agreement.

For more information on obtaining a contract to accept child care subsidy, please contact Adult and Family Services.

A young girl spent two years in a closet. Her mother, a resident of the US state of Oklahoma, felt that her daughter was very similar to her father. This apparently irritated the woman, and she decided to put the child out of sight. When the three-year-old baby was found, she weighed just over eight kilograms.

A young American woman spent two years in a closet. Her mother thought that the girl was very similar to her father. This, apparently, annoyed the woman, and therefore she decided to put the child out of sight. When social workers found the baby, they couldn’t imagine how she had survived. However, now the girl lives in a foster family and feels good. nine0005

According to local NewsChannel 4, little Georgia is no longer struggling to survive. She lives life to the fullest and smiles a lot. It’s hard to believe what she went through.

Oklahoma City Asucena resident Maria Gonzalez raised all her other children without the use of such “special means”. But she had a special relationship with a three-year-old baby. Because of the similarity of the girl with her father, who apparently left the family, the parent mother locked the girl in a closet. Of the amenities for the child there was only a pot. The girl was constantly starving, and her body was covered with hair in order to somehow maintain a normal temperature. nine0005

When the baby was found, she weighed just over eight and a half kilograms. This happened in 2011. The girl’s adoptive mother, Amanda Leal, recalls: “Georgia looked like she would never recover. I remember asking the doctor if she would make it, and he said, ‘I don’t know.'”

Georgia herself, now five years old, She described her past life in this way: “I lived with Maria, and it was bad there. She locked me in a closet, I had nothing to eat and drink. I just slept and never went out. “By the way, the new family gave the baby the name Georgia. Thanks to the care of her foster parents, she was able to go to kindergarten.

Amanda and her husband Clint noticed the girl while she was still in the hospital, they took care of her while she was undergoing treatment.

The Annual Salary of a First-Year Teacher | Work

By Dr. Kelly S. Meier Updated July 17, 2020

If your goal is to make a difference in the life of a child, becoming a teacher may be an ideal career choice. Teachers help to shape the future by inspiring youth to develop a love for learning. You can choose to become a primary, secondary or specialty teacher. The average first-year teacher salary varies by state, but ranges between $31,418 and $55,209. The average starting salary for teachers is $44,647, representing median pay for new teachers in the U.S.

    Teacher Job Description

A teacher plans, organizes and delivers content to children attending school. Prior to the excitement of students filling the classroom, a teacher must develop lesson plans and prepare for teaching a full day of content. Teachers use school district guidelines to shape the lessons that they will teach. In addition to teaching, other duties include:

    • Advising extra-curricular activities
    • Participating in continuing education
    • Meeting with parents
    • Overseeing study halls
    • Administering standardized tests
    • Reinforcing school rules
    • Monitoring student progress
    • Managing classroom behavior

Teachers are on the front lines and are often involved in helping students beyond the classroom. For example, if a student is encountering challenges at home, a teacher may provide assistance or connect the student with helpful resources. Similarly, teachers are responsible for managing behavioral problems in the classroom and determining the potential underlying causes of student issues.

    Teacher Education Requirements

If you’re interested in becoming a teacher, you’ll begin by pursuing a teacher education degree. This undergraduate program will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of all facets of teaching methodology and classroom learning strategies. You’ll take classes like:

    • Educational Foundations
    • Literacy Methods for the Classroom
    • Cross-Cultural Communication
    • Assessment and Intervention
    • Behavioral Needs
    • Classroom Management
    • Educational Psychology

If you’re interested in teaching a specific subject at the secondary level, you’ll also take courses in that specialization. For example, if you want to be a math teacher, you’ll have a core of classes related to teaching math to students. Some programs include other requirements. Western Illinois University weaves benchmarks that must be reached throughout the program. In addition to coursework, you’ll also need to complete one semester of student teaching, safety training, a portfolio that represents your work and a criminal background check. The final step is to pass the state teacher licensure examination.

    Teaching Industry

Most teachers work during the school year and enjoy two months or more off during the summer. Teachers work during the day in school settings, but also must work at night to grade assignments and prepare to teach upcoming lessons. In addition to teaching, there may be the opportunity to work additional hours coaching sports or working with student interest groups.

    Years of Experience

Your pay will increase as you have clocked more years of experience. For example, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicated that the average high school teacher salary was $61,660 in 2019. Since most teaching positions are unionized, pay is negotiated by a bargaining unit and experienced teachers earn more. In 2018, the National Education Association published a list of the average first-year teacher salary by state. Here are a few of the salaries listed:

    • Alabama – $48,491
    • Delaware – $41,639
    • Georgia – $35,474
    • Idaho – $34,801
    • Massachusetts – $45,498
    • New Jersey – $51,443
    • Texas – $41,481
    • Wisconsin – $38,181

    Teaching Job Growth Trend

An average growth trend of four percent is expected for high school teachers. Elementary and middle school teacher jobs are estimated to increase by three percent between now and 2028, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Some specialty areas like special education, English as a second language, math and science may have more job openings. State and local budgets, as well as population growth, drive the demand for teaching positions.

Aimagambetov said that salary statistics for 2019 show that the average salary in the country is 168 thousand tenge, while the average salary for people with secondary education is only 115 thousand tenge. This clearly demonstrates that people with secondary education earn much less than the average salary in the country.

The average salary in the country is 312 thousand tenge, and the average salary of a person with secondary education is 343 thousand tenge. This is slightly higher than the average salary. This is what the President of our country has set as a goal.

The head of the Ministry also announced that from January 2023 there will be a significant increase in the salaries of teachers. This is a 25% increase for all education workers.

The above measures will help raise the status of teachers and attract more qualified professionals to this area. This will help improve the quality of education in our schools, the Minister of Education believes.

Most of the vacancies were posted in Karaganda (899 vacancies), Zhambyl (792 vacancies) and Almaty (737 vacancies) regions.

The average salary of teachers in Kazakhstan as a whole is 109.4 thousand tenge.

The salary of teachers in Kazakhstan increased by 25%

In the second quarter of this year, the average monthly nominal salary in the field of education reached 293.3 thousand tenge – 25.4% more than a year earlier, according to a study by Ranking.kz .

Minister of Education: Teachers receive 570, 600 and 750 thousand tenge

Recently Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov told how much teachers in Kazakhstan earn. He assured that now salaries are much higher than they were before, and that they consist of several components.

The amount of money a teacher receives depends on where he/she works.

    • If they work in rural areas, they receive 570 thousand tenge.
    • However, if they work in the capital, they receive 500 or 600 thousand tenge.
    • As for Kyzylorda, the teachers’ salary of 750 thousand tenge is due to environmental payments.

It all depends on the experience and category. This was stated by the Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov.

    • According to the minister, if a teacher is a master teacher, then his salary is increased by 50%.

Examples from the Minister of Education. If the teacher’s salary is 300,000 tenge, then he receives an additional payment of 150,000 tenge. If a teacher teaches in English, then his salary will increase by another 35,000 tenge. If the teacher has a master’s degree, then he receives an additional payment of 30,000 tenge.

Teachers in problem regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan will receive 790 thousand

The best teachers who are sent to regions with a shortage of personnel will receive higher wages, Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov recently announced.

For this, 3.9 billion tenge are allocated in the republican budget. At the same time, this amount is provided only for a 150% increase in teachers’ salaries.

The program to send the best teachers to regions with a shortage of personnel starts in September this year. According to him, the considered 3.9 billion tenge covers the double salary of teachers, renting housing for them and paying utility bills.

“According to the law, we can pay for housing and utilities only from the local budget. In order not to violate the law, we resolve this issue through wages. That is, for example, a teacher moving to a problem region will receive about 790 thousand tenge in September. Of these, about 140,000 will be utility costs, and the remaining 650,000 will be the salary of a teacher,” Askhat Aimagambetov recently said.

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) is a special education program that serves children between the ages of three to five who have delays in the areas of speech, language, physical, social and/or emotional development. The amount of time and type of services provided is determined by an Individual Education Program (IEP) committee. Eligible students attend this program at no cost to the family. Students are eligible for services on their third birthday.

    Parent and Family Engagement

The Denison Independent School District is committed to making parents/guardians, community members and educators full partners with DISD, empowering families to support the early learning and development of children and by providing families educational opportunities and resources to ensure lifelong success.
