Thank you very much Compass Agency for helping me get into the University of Arizona. I had a difficult situation, at first I did not manage to get a visa, then I could not arrive on time for training, it was such that I even lost my passport with a visa! But thanks to Compass, we solved all the problems, and I received a scholarship of $ 12,000 for education))
Hello everyone! If you are looking for professionals in your field, then Compass is definitely for you! Two years ago my son Kirill Voinkov decided to continue his education in the USA. We consulted in several very “promoted” agencies, which found some cosmically expensive schools for him and sent him to take IELTC instead of TOEFL, which is more acceptable for studying in the USA).
We got to Compass by accident, but immediately felt that the employees know their stuff. Kirill was asked in detail about his preferences in studies and they chose an A + level school just for him: with a high quality of teaching the exact sciences and an engineering course!
After receiving the Hi School Diploma, again, Compass helped to decide on the university and helped with the paperwork! So: if you need agents to always be in touch (!!!), advice and assistance on any issues, the search for an educational institution is just for you – only Compass! Thank you very much, success and prosperity of the company!
Thank you Compass for helping us with admission to a German university, with finding accommodation, and also with obtaining a Visa! My dream came true and now I am a student of film and motion design. In addition, I received a 25% discount on tuition! Thanks again!
I am very grateful to Compass for their cooperation and huge contribution to the realization of my goal! We actively worked with the company from the very beginning until my arrival in Toronto. I would like to thank Compass employees for their professionalism, responsibility and quality of services. The path to Canada was long and difficult, but together everything worked out, and I am happy to live and receive a world-class education in this beautiful country. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to get a quality education abroad. The guys are professionals in their field and know all the subtleties!
Thanks to Compass for making my dream of studying in Canada come true, good and fast communication, response and support. Special thanks to the manager Angela Boldescu for the correction and quality work. I recommend this agency to anyone who has plans to study and work abroad. Thank you for your work and keep up the good work!
I applied to the Compass agency with an unrealistic goal for me at that time to enter a Canadian college. I had an initial level of English, a clean passport and the fear of filling out all the documents. And despite all this, I now live in a small Canadian town of Welland and study my favorite specialty at Niagara College. My agent Angela did a 110% job of fully instructing and organizing me and my dad. Thanks to her and this organization, we were able to submit all the documents on time, solve all the related problems on our way, and most importantly, get the desired result. I really liked the fact that Angela has always been in touch with us from the moment we turned to her for help and we still continue to communicate. I am very grateful to Compass for helping me make my dream come true.
I have known Angela for 6 years, and since then I have been doing all my visas only with her: two student visas, tourist visas to the USA and Canada until the passport expires. She knows everything about universities and language schools around the world, as well as all the nuances regarding visas, and can give objective advice on any issue. I strongly recommend to all my friends and acquaintances, as well as to those who still doubt the choice of the agency. All employees are very competent and always happy to help.
For any questions with visas, language courses, I turn to this agency and advise everyone! I plan to do the same abroad with the help of Compass! Professionals in their field!
Thanks to the company for their help in entering Poland for a master’s degree! A friendly team that helped in all matters and hopefully will help in the future too 🙂
Helped me to enter HUMBER college in Toronto and I’m already going to fly. They also arranged accommodation, flights, transfers. I will recommend!

Frank Lloyd Wright: photos of houses and biography of the architect
On June 8, 1867, the great American architect Frank Lloyd Wright was born. The father of organic architecture and prairie style created more than 500 projects throughout his career, and about 300 of them we can see, visit and even purchase. We recall the difficult path to fame and the best projects of America’s chief architect.
History
Frank Lloyd Wright was born June 8, 1867 in the small town of Richland Center, Wisconsin. While studying engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Wright had to earn extra money to help his mother and sisters. Never finished university, at 19In 1987, he left for Chicago, where he began his architectural career as an “apprentice” – first with Joseph Lyman Silsby, and then with the “father of skyscrapers” modernist architect Louis Sullivan, who became a real master for the young Wright.

Under Louis Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright worked for six years. In 1889, the master signed a five-year contract with his apprentice to build himself a small house in suburban Chicago’s Oak Park and start building a family with his first wife, Katherine Lee Tobin. In order to provide for his family, Wright, who did not like to deny himself fashionable suits and expensive cars, has to take third-party orders and carry them out in parallel with his work in an architectural studio. When Sullivan discovered this (quite by accident, seeing a mansion in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright, which was then difficult to confuse with something a few blocks from his Kenwood home), he canceled the contract with Wright and he had to leave.

Perhaps this twist of fate was the turning point in Frank Lloyd Wright’s career, as he finally had the opportunity to create his own designs and develop the prairie style he proclaimed. prairie consisted of obligatory low-rise houses, flat roofs, the absence of attics and basements, strip glazing – and, in general, the complete dissolution of the house on the surface of the earth. This style began to manifest itself most clearly from 1900s: Wright builds dozens of private homes, as well as public buildings, such as the Unitarian Church in Oak Park (Frank Lloyd Wright, like his entire family, was a staunch Unitarian all his life). This church was later recognized as one of the world’s first examples of modernism.

One of the most famous houses of this period was the Robie House, built in 1906. The long horizontal house, consisting of two rectangular volumes lying on top of each other, became the ultimate manifesto of prairie style, and later a national historic landmark. At the same time, a series of upheavals take place in the personal life of Frank Lloyd Wright. In 1909, Wright left the family for the wife of one of his clients, Mama Borthwick Cheney. Together they travel around Europe, where Wright publishes his first publications – collections of his works. Upon his return to the United States, Wright begins to build his abode and studio – Taliesin – where he could hide from the notoriety that haunted him from Oak Park. Wright resumes architectural practice in a new location, receives large orders for public spaces. At 1914 CE Mama Cheni and her two children die tragically in Taliesin at the hands of a mad worker who sets the house on fire and kills Cheni, the children and four other people. Frank Lloyd Wright took this event hard and subsequently rebuilt the half-burnt Taliesin in memory of his beloved.
Drawing of March Balloons, 1955. Wright adapted his sketches for the covers of Liberty magazine from 1926-1928 to fit the design. The covers were never released, and the architect later used this drawing to design carpets and other items.

For a while, he was distracted from the tragedy by immersing himself in work on the Imperial Hotel in Japan, and returned to the United States only in 1922. For several years he settled in Los Angeles, where architectural practice did not bring proper income, but there he created his famous Ennis House, where he first applied innovative technologies in the use of “textile” concrete blocks. Textile Wright called them because he proposed stringing cubic blocks, hollow inside, on reinforcing rods, as on transverse threads in weaving fabric. So the surface of the wall looked aesthetically – like a single decorative plane.Wright covered the outer sides of the blocks with ethnic them an ornament.

A new stage in Wright’s career was marked by his return to Taliesin and an alliance with Olga (Olgivanna) Lazovic at 1928, with whom they organized the Taliesin Fellowship internship program. At the same time, Wright’s important program works “Autobiography” and “Vanishing City”, which we wrote about here, are being released. In 1936, Wright created one of his most famous projects, the Falls House for Edgar Kaufman, and began a series of “Usonian” houses in which he formulated his vision of true American architecture. The style appears in response to the rampant financial crisis of 1929 and is positioned as affordable housing for Americans. Wright designs more than 50 simple houses, the architecture of which reflects economic realities and an actively changing social environment: accessible, comfortable and beautiful.

Receives a commission for one of his major creations, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, in 1943. It took 16 years to create the museum, and its opening took place in the year of Wright’s death, who did not live two months to 92 years old In his entire career, Frank Lloyd Wright built the only skyscraper, the Price Tower in Oklahoma, which opened to the public in 1956.

There is no doubt that the organic architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright has largely defined the modern architectural approach. Proximity to nature, the merging of all elements of the environment together is what guides architects and designers today. We offer a look at 11 Wright’s iconic projects, in which all the features of his style were manifested.
Legacy
1. Robie House, 1906
Here is a house that is recognized as the starting point for the development of the prairie style. Frank Lloyd Wright built the Robie House at 1906 for Frederic Roby and his wife Laura. The design of the mansion consists of two horizontal rectangular volumes superimposed on each other.

An impressive cantilevered roof covers the bands of windows that wrap around the house, thus creating a sense of closure and at the same time connecting the house to the surrounding landscape – everything that is prescribed for the prairie style.

2. Unity Church, 1906–1908
In 1906, Frank Lloyd Wright designs a new Unitarian church in Oak Park to replace the one that burned down in 1905. His Unity Church has been recognized as one of the first monuments of modernism of the 20th century and the project that defined Wright’s style. For construction, the architect chooses an economical material – concrete – which, moreover, can be added with an ornament without unnecessary difficulties and at the same time not spend money on finishing.

Wright divided the space of the church into two parts: one for worship and the other for social events. Both rooms are naturally lit by skylights, while glass in natural green, yellow and brown hues is reminiscent of the nature inside. The laconic design of the church fully met the needs of the parishioners and, as Wright later stated, changed his attitude towards architecture: “The soul of the building is the space, not its walls.”

3. Taliesin, 1911 and 1925
One of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most important projects, which he named in memory of his mother’s Welsh roots, Taliesin, the name of a 6th-century Welsh poet, which literally translates as “radiant forehead”. This name also symbolizes the architect’s desire to build his residence “inside the hill”, applying all the main elements of his prairie style in the project.

Local materials, a “flat and cozy” house that spreads across the Wisconsin landscape, for which Wright used yellow limestone from a nearby quarry, cantilevered roofs, wide windows and an open floor plan – all this is the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. Taliesin suffered from fires several times, and the architect rebuilt the residence twice – in 1914 and 1925. And in 1937, the residence became the venue for Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin Fellowship, a special internship program.
4. Ennis house, 1924
After returning from Japan, Wright works in Los Angeles for a while. One of the main results of this period of his career is the Ennis House, in which he revived the concrete block as a structural element and turned it into “a particle of the fabric of the building.”

The cube-shaped textile concrete blocks were hollow inside with holes at the top and bottom through which they were threaded onto the reinforcement. And the architect covered the front sides of the blocks with ethnic ornaments. So Wright gave concrete blocks his own face.

5. The Falls House, 1935
We suggest that the next most popular after the Guggenheim Museum is the Falls House, the quintessential organic architecture and style of Frank Lloyd Wright. The architect built this house for the Kaufmans, whose son was an intern at Wright in Taliesin.

After meeting with clients, Wright decided to create a home for a successful, wealthy American family that would celebrate American nature and his own organic architecture. In the construction of the house on Bear Creek, the architect used breakthrough technologies for that time – for example, he attached reinforced concrete structures directly to the rocks. Thus, the cantilevered terraces, made of local sandstone, are harmoniously combined with natural stone and seem to gracefully soar above a seething waterfall.

6. Herbert Jacobs House, 1936
described in his work “The Disappearing City”. In total, Wright built about 140 houses in this style. Glass walls, natural materials – wood, stone, brick – all this brought the “Usonian” houses closer to the landscape where they were built. Such techniques, as an open plan, combined living room, dining room and kitchen was later used in the post-war construction of houses in the American style that we know today.0005

7. Johnson Wax Headquarters, 1936
In the design of the Johnson Wax headquarters, Frank Lloyd Wright failed, as usual, to connect architecture with nature, because it was simply not around. Then he decided to create a building without windows, but with nature inside. The architect promised the owner of the company Herbert Johnson that working in this office would be like walking through a pine forest. Wright achieved this magical effect with the help of two important innovations: reinforced concrete structures and glass tubes

From concrete, he built slender, snow-white columns that wind from the floor and grow into the “water lilies” that support the roof. the lack of windows create an incredibly bright space.Despite the romanticism of this technique, engineering thought could not keep up with Frank Lloyd Wright’s flight of fancy and the roof of the headquarters leaked during every rainstorm. The architect later connected the 14-story research center tower to the office using a covered bridge By the way, it was one of two vertical structures built by Wright in his entire career (the other is Price Towe r).

8. Taliesin West, 1937
In 1937, Wright bought several hundred acres of land in the godforsaken steppes of Arizona and began to build his winter residence there – Taliesin West. As always, giving preference to local materials, the architect creates a house of volcanic stone, enclosed in wooden molds and fixed with a mixture of concrete and sand. 0005

Over time, the house has been rebuilt, expanded, restored: many rooms are interconnected by terraces, passages and gardens. Almost all the furniture in this house was created by the architect himself. Now it houses the offices of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, and the Frank Lloyd Wright School, which became his famous Taliesin Fellowship program.0005

9. Beth Sholom Synagogue, 1954
One of the most important projects of Wright’s late career was the Beth Sholom Synagogue, in which he took a modern approach to faith, history and religious culture. The synagogue is a pyramid planted on a metal base.

The translucent pyramidal roof is made of two layers of glass and fiberglass, thanks to which the synagogue is always illuminated by daylight, and at night the pyramid glows softly in the dark.

10. Price Tower, 1952
The only high-rise building built by the father of American prairie style is the Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, which became the office for the oil company H.C. price company. The design of the skyscraper is inspired by the shape of a tree trunk, and 19 concrete floors have become its branches.

The facades of the tower are decorated with copper ornamental plates with green “leaves” and glass elements of golden hues. In 1981, the tower was acquired by Phillips Petroleum, and since 1985 it has housed an art center, a museum, a hotel and a bar.

11. Guggenheim Museum, 1956
collection of contemporary art from the Guggenheim.Wright accepted the proposal for the largest project of his life and created that very “snail” that contrasts with the strict rectangular houses of Manhattan.Inside the museum, the architect invites visitors to climb to the very top and descend from the transparent ceiling along a spiral staircase down, enjoying contemporary art

Wright’s Taliesin Residences in the Wisconsin River Valley and Arizona are buildings of outstanding architecture and dramatic history.
\* Taliesin is a semi-legendary bard, the oldest poet who wrote in the Welsh language. In Welsh, his name means “radiant forehead.” Wright named the hillside on which he built his residence in Wisconsin.
👤 Wright was an individualist, shunned and despised other architects. Therefore, it is quite natural that he did not want to teach at any school, but decided to make his own. The buildings built for the school were for him both a home and an office, and an example of the architecture that he taught. A special family atmosphere was created inside the school, students lived and studied and worked on Wright’s projects together.
↔️ In the spirit of the ideology of organic architecture, Wright created two such residences – and moved between them. In the summer you could spend time in the comfortable climate of Wisconsin, in the winter – in Arizona, where temperatures rarely drop below zero. From a pedagogical point of view, each of the Taliesins exemplifies Wright’s main ideas about the interaction of architecture with landscape and climate.
⛰ Taliesin in Wisconsin. The summer residence stands in the Wisconsin Valley, where Wright often spent his childhood summers with Uncle James. He liked these places so much that he considered them his home. It was also here that Wright made his first architectural project, designing the interior of a church for his uncle. In 1911, Wright built a summer residence in these places in the style of “prairie houses”, the idea of \u200b\u200bwhich the architect was largely inspired in these places. The building suffered from fires twice and was rebuilt.
🏜 Taliesin in Arizona. The architect has always believed that the arid Arizona climate is perfect for working and teaching students. He said that “Arizona needs its own architecture.” He was inspired by the local deserts and plateaus with their contours, natural colors of nature.
🧱 In 1937-1959, Wright built a winter residence in Arizona on the southern slope of the McDowell Range. He actively used local materials – he built the walls from desert stones, and made part of the roof, house and facade from mahogany. The natural hues blended the building even more into the local landscape.
☀️ The house stands very low to the ground – this provided natural ventilation and protection from the bright desert sun. The result is a series of spaces connected by terraces, gardens and pools. Everything together was designed to blend in with the landscape and create a sense of privacy at the same time. Wright later added a large dining room, a music pavilion, and a cabaret theatre.
▪️ Here Wright develops the idea of open space even deeper than in the prairie houses. It turned out to be a very interesting plan, in which the boundaries between the inner and outer space (the rooms and the platform on which the building stands) are almost invisible.
1. Maima (Mary) Cheney 2, 3. Newspaper articles about the tragedy in Taliesin 4, 5. Aftermath of the fire 6. Wright and Olgivanna 7. Costume party in Taliesin
The Taliesin residence in Wisconsin is associated with a series of scandals, including murder and arson.
👤 Wright’s figure gradually became known not only in architectural circles and among clients, but also to the general public. The image of a genius was supplemented by the fact that Wright surrounded himself with employees and students and lived with them in the forest – mysteriously and suspiciously at the same time. The atmosphere may not have been the healthiest, as evidenced by the regular troubles, even the tragedies with Taliesin. But they fueled interest in Wright.
❤️ In 1903, Wright designed a house for a neighbor, Edwin Cheney. Wright has an affair with Edwin’s wife, Mayma (Mary). Maima was a feminist, and Wright became interested in her, among other things, because of her intelligence and progressive views. Everyone knew about their relationship. In the gossip column, newspapers wrote about their trip to Europe, snidely calling it a “spiritual hajj” and calling Wright’s residence a “love nest.”
👫 In 1909, the couple met in Europe, leaving their families in the USA. Then Wright spent almost a year in European countries. During this time, Mary divorced her husband, but Wright’s wife refused to file for divorce. Wright built Taliesin in Wisconsin in many ways for Maima, who lived there.
🔥 In 1914, a tragedy occurred in Taliesin: servant Julian Carlton set fire to the house, killing seven people during the fire, including Maima and her two children. After that, Wright completely restored and rebuilt the house, naming the residence Taliesin II.
👰 After the tragedy, Wright married again – to Olgivanna Lazovic (of course, her name was Olga Ivanovna), originally from Montenegro. Olga Ivanovna spent some time in Russia, she was also a mysterious person – a follower of the mystic Gurdjieff, for whom she left Russia for France, and then for the USA. She became a loyal associate of Wright, who understood his philosophy well, and an important figure in the community that grew up around Wright in Taliesin – it was called the Fellowship.
In 1925 there was a second fire. After restoration, the residence became known as Taliesin III.
1–5. Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture during his lifetime – about 600 students directly from Wright 6–8. Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture today 9. All students of the school fit on its porch
At the end of the day, let’s take a look at how Wright turned his residences into unusual architectural schools.
📐 Wright, despite the progressiveness of his architecture, still remained a man of the 19th century – for him, the ideal architect was not a professional, but an artisan, in the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement of William Morris. The desire not to separate creative and personal life led to the emergence of Taliesins – large residences that were both an office and then a school.
👥 The first Fellowship appeared in 1932, an association around Taliesin in Wisconsin. It included Wright’s staff and students and their families. In the area around Taliesin, they rented or built houses for themselves.
▪️ At first, there was an idea to make Taliesin a center of culture, like Abramtsevo – here they were supposed to do not only architecture, but also painting, sculpture, music, theater and dance. They wanted to call playwright Eugene O’Neill, artist Giorgio O’Keeffe, architectural critic Lews Mumford, composer Igor Stravinsky, and even director Sergei Eisenstein as teachers.
▪️ Alas, this grandiose project did not work out. But a community arose of about three dozen of Wright’s associates, who worked together on projects and even in the garden.
📈 School felt good or bad in sync with Wright’s career, which had its ups and downs. After the war, Wright was offered several major commissions (including the Guggenheim Museum in New York), and life in the Fellowship was quite vigorous. After the death of Wright, the Partnership was headed by Olgivanna and until 19In the 1980s, she remained president of the Wright Foundation, which arose after his death.
🎓 Only after 1985 the school took shape officially – it passed all the necessary accreditation procedures and was named Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. The program took into account all of Wright’s most important ideas, including proximity to nature, not only in design, but also physically – both residences received the status of monuments, reserves, so that the schools were reliably protected from encroachment by developers or crowds of tourists.
🧩 And yet, the school did not become quite noticeable against the background of other American universities – there are no big celebrities among the graduates of the school, and it was treated more as a way to pay tribute to the memory of the architect and his interesting biography, as well as to preserve the spirit of architecture in both Taliesinakh.
▪️ In 2020, due to funding difficulties due to the pandemic (after all, the main point of this school is to live in it, and with this problems began), the school was on the verge of closing, and students (still 30 people) wanted to be transferred to another educational institution so that they can complete their education.

90,000 Top 15 Retail Jobs in 2022 90,001 90,002 No industry pays more than retail, this giant is worth $5 trillion as of 2017, four years ago.
Now imagine how far this industry has gone, ignoring the Covid19 pandemic, which has wiped out literally 60% of the world’s finances.
Retail sales grew by an estimated 6.7% during this period.
In today’s article, we’ll talk about the 15 highest paying retail jobs in 2022.
But before we get to the point, let’s understand what it’s like to work in retail.
What is a retail job?
This job includes presenting, marketing, organizing, storing, and selling products and services to customers in a store or over the phone.
Simply put, it includes all the steps required to successfully launch a store.
From opening and closing the store during and after business hours, to working with the cash register, ordering new stock in case of shortage, communicating with customers, cleaning the building, etc.
Working in a retail store requires basic sales skills, communication, multitasking, etc.

Retailers Pay Scale
Such a basic requirement for the industry that Pay Scale pays a minimum of $10 an hour and bonuses of $20 to $500 to a simple salesman – those guys who greet you whenever you enter the store and sometimes point to product
That’s right, these guys get paid that much for what they do.
That’s literally worth $21,000 a year.
That’s literally all my rent for the year
Just to stand and point at people
Makes you wonder how much money does the owner of these stores make
How profitable is retail work?
Quora’s quick study explains that when a retailer buys goods from a wholesaler at a certain price, they then add up the cost they think the buyer will pay.

Day Care Centers Site
More and more in today’s world both parents have employment and need suitable day care centers for their children. These early stages in a child’s life are very important to their growth and development. Choosing a good child day care center is vital, one where the adult won’t just plunk your children down in front of a soap opera all day and feed them Top Ramen. You should look for day care centers that provide learning programs and playtime for your child, along with a safe and healthy environment.
There are many different types of day care centers, ranging from basic nurseries to preschools that will provide more of a learning environment for your children. Some day care centers specialize in a specific age range, while others are more open. When you’re contemplating placing your child in a specific day care center, you should visit each one with your child. In this way, you can see how your child reacts to the other children who are there and to the caregiver. You want your child to be happy and comfortable.
While some day care centers provide a greater variety of activities than others, any good day care center is going to encourage positive interaction among all of the children. They will also have rules that promote good behavior, learning, manners, and child development. You certainly don’t want to have to worry that your child is going to develop bad habits from day care.

While you don’t need to go overboard in choosing suitable day care centers, you should approach the subject seriously and with thought. Your child is going to be spending a good-sized portion of his or her life in day cares and you want to make sure it is going to be a positive experience. Family is the most important thing in the world and you should make sure that your children are your first priority. When you are considering a day care center, you should look at where it is located and how much it costs. There’s not much sense in putting your son or daughter in daycare so that you can work full time and spending most of what you earn on the day care center’s tuitions and your travel expenses. If that’s the case, you might as well stay home with your child. However, if you do truly need the money, there are usually plenty of day care services available and it shouldn’t be too difficult to find one close by that is reasonably priced.
Different Kinds of Child day Care Centers
While child day care centers are common, there is such a huge demand for this service that there are now quite a variety of options available other than basic day care. These include the following:
Home child care or family childcare
Child care services
Preschool
Nursery
Home child care tends to be the most popular option because it is generally more affordable and a smaller environment. While some day care centers are quite large and can provide better early childhood education, it is also more difficult for each child to receive personal attention. Day care centers that are based out of someone’s home are usually more personal and your child can receive more care and nurturing. Most parents want their children to be receiving love and affection, the care that they themselves would give them. They don’t want a day care business that is merely going to make sure that their child is still alive and adequately healthy.
Home child care providers are also more adaptable, generally speaking. This means that if your child likes a certain song sung to them before they take their nap each day, the home care provider is more likely to be willing to do that than someone in a larger day care facility. Most adult home child care providers are parents themselves, making them better able to understand and love your child.
Other Things to Think About
One of the first steps you should take after picking out a family day care center that you think will be suitable for your child is do a little investigating. This can involve talking to the parents of the other children that use the child day care center to see what they think about it. You should also always check to make sure the child care service you are considering is legally licensed to operate in your state. Licensing officials check criminal records and ensure that the child care provider has emergency response training and a safe and healthy environment for the children. As mentioned earlier, it is a good idea to visit the child day care center that you are considering. You should do this at least a couple of times, and try to go at different times of the day so that you can get a better idea of what kind of schedule they have. This will help you to see how your own child would fit in. If you are having difficulties finding the appropriate child care environment for your son or daughter, there are some other options. Some people get family and friends to help out, while others hire a nanny. Adult nannies are a good option because they ensure that your child receives personal attention and quality child care. However, this also means that your child will not receive as much social interaction since he or she won’t have other children to play with like in a family day care center.
No matter what option you decide to go with, make sure that you know who you are leaving your child with. Meet them, get to know them, and let your child do the same. Do some research on the internet to make sure that no one has had negative experiences with the day care center you are considering. Check to make sure that they are legally licensed. Once you have done all of this, you can feel more confident and secure in knowing that you have chosen the right day care center for your child.
Switching Day Care Centers
Choosing Another Child Care Provider
So you want to switch day care providers for your kids but you don’t know where to start or what to choose among the plethora of options out there in this world. It is fittingly one of the most important decisions of a young parent’s journey due to the fact that a child’s first formative years up until the age of six is critical. It is important for parents to not just consider the monetary impact of these choices but also the emotional, intellectual, and social future impacts the choice of a day care provider will have on their kids in the long term future. So let’s discuss some general tips to consider for the parent and the child to consider when one is looking to switch day care providers within a short time frame.
First, you must consider the cost of attending some of the more prestigious and rigorous day care provider centers in your area. In some areas, let’s face the reality that the more money per month per child spent; the better the facilities and the educational value experience offered for your child. Things such as using smart boards and I Pad’s to enhance the learning experience is a very real possibility in these places. However, if a parent is budget conscious they can still afford this experience but it would mean cutting back on all or most non-necessity spending. This would include curbing your eating out habits as well as any leisure entertainment or travel activity and place that money instead into your child’s future day care home. If an expensive day care sees that you are making an effort to keep up with the payments; then they will be more willing to work with you and not let your child leave that place. For a child going to this environment, they need to consider whether or not they will fit into this environment, things like playtime, feeding time, and individual care of the staff- is it received well by the child? These will make the difference between choosing these ones or a cheaper alternative. Cheaper is not all bad if the quality and availability of care is there for your child in the first place.
Secondly, you need to consider your travel times and distance of day care relative to your work and other important places like the hospital, grocery store, bank, and places that you frequent on a daily basis. Is it near enough that you can get to your child should he/she become ill or need special attention so that the day care center can contact you and arrange a meeting with you the same day if needed.
Furthermore, you need to consider the overall cleanliness and friendliness of the day care center provider. Do not underestimate a clean environment for your kid to play and learn in with other kids. Your kid will enjoy making new friends in a clean and safe environment. Plus you as a parent will enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that your child will not be being home any unwanted germs and diseases into your house. Parents must also consider if there is a dispute over payment and care; how does the management and staff deal with such requests? If there is a lackadaisical approach to your core issues; then that is a bad prelude of things to come concerning your child’s care. Your child will probably feel like he/she is being neglected or not fed on time and will start to complain to you ever so slightly that something is not right. When they do, do not hesitate to take them out of that day care center and find another one immediately.
In a recessionary economy, it is okay and permissible for both parents and kids to demand the best care for their dollar. Make your day care dollar stretch by reading all of the material and brochures and visiting every day center on your list until you find that perfect fit for your child. It’s out there; it is just waiting on you to find it!
Child Care Options for Low Income Families
One of the most frustrating aspects of being a working citizen is not having the ability to afford childcare. The majority of day care facilities charge as much as $300 per week for each child. That amount is difficult for middle-class citizens to pay. Low-income families cannot fathom paying such an expense. Luckily, the government and the various states have developed programs that help low-income families get the childcare they deserve. The following is some information on those programs:
Extended Day Program
The extended day program can assist low-income working parents during the regular school year. Many school districts offer this program. The school keeps children before and after school hours for a small monthly fee. A parent can drop a child off as early as 7:00 a.m. and pick the child up as late as 6:00 p.m. This program is excellent for low-income workers with daytime weekday jobs. The cost is approximately $150 per month for before and after school. The weekly rate is approximately $37.50, which is extremely competitive.
The attendants participate in various activities with the children before and after school. They help the children with their homework so that the parents have less stress when they come home from work. They give the children a full breakfast in the morning program and a snack in the evening program. Parents can opt to pay for the morning program only, the evening program only, or both programs. The evening program is the more expensive of the two because it lasts so many hours after the school releases the children. The evening program is $100 while the morning program is $52.
The Child Care Assistance Program
CCAP is a special program that provides childcare assistance to certain low-income families. People who are collecting TANF are automatically eligible to receive this assistance. Teenage parents who are working on obtaining their educations are also eligible for CCAP. Those who are not collecting TANF can still qualify if they are pursuing education that will improve their work skills and job opportunities. Parents can apply for CCAP assistance with the Department of Children & Family Services. The financial guidelines for qualification are along the lines of a $3,000 per month income threshold for a four-person family. The applicant must have proof of income, social security cards, birth certificates, and immunization records for all children. Application processing can take up to 30 days.
Head Start
Head start is a program for children between the ages of three and five. The program provides childcare services and medical services to the children who qualify. It is funded by the Administration of Children’s Services. The Head Start program covers childcare from 7 a. m. to 5 p.m. Teachers work with the children to fine-tune their social and developmental skills. Those who are interested in the program may apply online. Applicants go on a waitlist until there is an available slot in the program. It is best for an interested person to complete an application as quickly as possible since the wait may be extended.
Child Care Voucher Program
The Child Care Voucher Program is in effect in many states throughout the United States. It provides a subsidy of up to 95 percent of childcare cost to low-income families. Subsidy recipients will choose an eligible provider from the list of licensed providers. They may also select a relative or an in-home provider. The Child Care Voucher Program covers the childcare from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. This is known as the traditional childcare period. However, the program also covers non-traditional times for parents who work odd shifts. It covers nights, weekends, and evenings.
A wide variety of options is available for low-income childcare. Many stay-at-home moms also run small day care businesses in which they discount their services. There is a way to make working and taking care of your children affordable.

In the village of Yeyskoye Fortification, the national project “Housing and a comfortable environment” was implemented. The rural settlement has entered the state program of the Krasnodar Territory “Formation of a modern urban environment” and this year the park of culture and recreation named after the 40th anniversary of the Victory has been landscaped. The project was financed on the terms of co-financing from the federal, regional and local budgets. nine0002 In the Yeyskoukreplensky rural settlement, after landscaping, a park of culture and recreation named after the 40th anniversary of the Victory was solemnly opened.
The honorable right to cut the red ribbon in honor of the opening of the park was given to Alexei Belikov, acting head of the district, Natalia Shevchenko, head of the Yeyskofortified settlement, and Maria Plashkareva, a first-grader of the local school. The head of the settlement gave a short tour for everyone. The renovated park will delight not only the residents of the Yeysk Fortification, but also guests from all over the region. Pedestrian alleys have been improved here, lighting has appeared, quiet recreation areas for people of different ages have been equipped, a new playground and exercise equipment have been installed. A truly joyful and long-awaited event! nine0009 The hosts of the festival could not but please the guests with small but very bright performances. Young villagers read poetry, sang songs and danced. At the end of the solemn part, everyone who wished to support the environmental action – planted new trees. Recall that the improvement of the park area became possible thanks to the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment. ” Also this year, Glafirovskoye, Shabelskoye and Staroshcherbinovskoye rural settlements participated in the project. nine0009 – We will strive to ensure that all rural settlements of the district are included in the program and park areas are landscaped on their territories, – said the acting head of the district. Looking at this beautiful, well-groomed, cozy corner, you understand how much effort has been invested in it and how much has been done to make the project come true.
Natalya Shevchenko: — It is very important that there are programs that make it possible to improve small villages like ours, so that people live well and comfortably in them, so as not to look for places of rest far outside the settlement, and enjoy native beauty. I want to say that nothing would have happened without the efforts and initiative of the former head of the settlement Andrei Anatolyevich Kolosov. nine0009 Thanks to all the organizations of the Yeisk Fortification for their active participation in clean-up cleanups. Together, our park has become beautiful. I hope that we will be able to preserve what we managed to transform and increase what we already have.
nine0000 Cozy and habitable: Governor Dmitry Azarov appreciated the possibility of a new kindergarten in Togliatti – News of Samara and Togliatti
Author nesluhi Reading 3 min Published
On Wednesday, December 28, Governor Dmitry Azarov during a working trip to Tolyatti, assessed the quality of construction of the new – already the seventh – building of kindergarten No. 200 “Magic Shoe” 40 Years of Victory Street. Its construction made it possible to completely eliminate the queue for preschool institutions in this actively developing microdistrict. nine0005
The preschool was built thanks to the national project “Demography” and opened in November this year. Recall that this is the fourth kindergarten built in Avtograd over the past five years.
In total, 8 groups for 150 places have been created in the new two-story building of the kindergarten, three of them for the youngest pupils aged one to three years, five for children from three years and older. There are conditions for people with limited mobility – the institution has a passenger-and-freight elevator. nine0005
A perimeter fence has been installed to ensure comprehensive security and anti-terrorist protection. The building of the kindergarten is equipped with fire protection systems, video surveillance, burglar alarms.
The institution has halls for music and sports, psychologist and speech therapist’s offices, a sensory room, an art studio, and a space for technical creativity. In the presence of a medical unit and a kitchen.
The kindergarten is equipped with all the necessary modern equipment for the versatile development of preschool children: interactive complexes, creative classes, constructors and many toys. In classes with kids, educators use the most modern methods and educational technologies, which allows pupils to develop harmoniously and explore the world with interest. nine0005
“Most of all, I was pleased with the amazing charge of teachers, mentors, educators. It is important, of course, to build new institutions, and over the past three years we have built more than 50 kindergartens in the region. But the most important thing in any kindergarten is real professionals in their field, people with a big heart, for whom there are no other people’s children. They are ready to give their knowledge, love, a piece of their soul to every child”, – Dmitry Azarov shared his impressions.
The head of the region paid special attention to the approach to the organization of space in the kindergarten: literally every corner of it is used for the placement of interactive manuals for kids. nine0017 “It is very important that the kindergarten immediately became cozy, habitable, and I think that children come here with pleasure, and then they go home with pleasure to share their knowledge and impressions, to tell their parents about their friends and teachers. I am very glad that you are approaching this new space so carefully and thoughtfully, which, I am sure, will give a very serious impetus to the development of each child, and therefore to the prosperity of the city of Tolyatti, the Samara region and our great Motherland Russia, – Dmitry Azarov emphasized, addressing the staff of the preschool institution.
Professional teachers and a psychologist work in groups. Work has been done on patriotic education – the kindergarten has its own museum. The head of the region presented the children with a picture of the Il-2 aircraft, which will become a worthy exhibit.
Through creativity, children learn to visualize and dream. For example, recently the guys from the designer were building the Togliatti embankment, imagining what it would be like after the opening. nine0005
Teachers are constantly improving their knowledge and competencies, and are happy to share their experience with their colleagues from other regions.

Parent: Our child has been at Larchmont since kinder and has thrived. He went to the elementary Fairfax campus, a smaller campus with spacious classrooms, and he has loved the bigger Selma campus too. The leadership works hard to create an accessible and friendly atmosphere for the students and parents so there is a strong sense of community. The admin is collaborative and value parent input. The teachers are nurturing and attentive and know when to give students more help or more of a challenge. There are many enrichment classes (art, music, gardening, sports teams, band), a social-emotional curriculum and clubs. Most kids eat the (optional) lunch prepared in the Fairfax kitchen and is SO good. At Selma, our child has delved deeper into academics and developed new interests like government and digital media in clubs. We have seen his intellectual curiosity and independence grow and we look forward to the La Fayette Campus!… Read 91 reviews

Junior: What I enjoy most is the fact that no boundaries are put between subjects or students. All students can explore the same subject and yet still learn something. They have done an excellent job at involving the arts in our academics, and it has made me understand certain topics more than I used to. What I would change would primarily be how we are prepared for college. The school does fulfill a lot of requirements for us, however we can’t add much for extracurriculars, and resources are pretty rare…. Read 40 reviews

Parent: I have 4 kids that went through WISH Elementary and now 2 are at WISH Middle and 2 are at WISH Academy HS. WISH has been an amazing experience for my kids and us as parents. The teachers and staff care about the kids and families and really build a community. The school is far more diverse (in terms of socio-economics, race, neurodiversity, physical ability, culture, learning style, etc. ) than other westside schools and that has huge benefits for it’s students. I feel like my kids’ time at WISH has laid a strong foundation for whatever my children choose to do in the future…. Read 11 reviews

Parent: I have two children who have been at LFCSA since transitional kindergarten. They have flourished at this school. Academically they are doing great but most importantly they love going to school! They don’t spend hours doing homework and the work they do get home is meaningful so it doesn’t feel like a waste of precious family time. I love how they use the arts as a tool to make the curriculum come to life and both my girls have really benefited from this. The school is very diverse and this is one of the reasons I chose it over my local school. The teachers value my children as individuals and give them work that challenges them. The social-emotional curriculum is an important part of this school. Both my girls have grown to be empathetic humans who are wonderful collaborators. I believe this will benefit them even more than just test scores. I love this school, the teachers and the strong, dedicated parent community…. Read 17 reviews

Senior: Cit of Angels Independent Study is an excellent school! I’m currently in my senior year, and I started the second semester of sophomore year. It was a major change from public school, but it was much better for me. There are challenges having complete control of your work, but working on my own time and bypassing the distractions of school works much better for me, and it’s so much less stressful. I’m grateful that my teacher cares about my learning and that I like her. I also have friends that are doing this school with me. It’s a great school if you need to make up work, too, because you can finish as much work as you need to in time. If you’re able to maintain your work its great…. Read 73 reviews

Schools in Spain: how everything works
The education system in Spain differs from the one we are used to in several ways. nine0107 Age of education
Children go to school from the age of 3. From 3 to 6 years old they study at a children’s school, this stage is called “infantil”. In many ways, it is similar to our preschool education, but there are important points: children sleep only in the first grade, i.e. only three-year-old children learn 1-2 languages (it depends on the school), and also in infantil they are prepared for school, they begin to learn counting, alphabet, writing. The next step is elementary school.
At primary school “primaria” children study from 6 to 12 years old, then go to secondary school “secundaria”, where they study until they are 16 years old, and if they want to study further at the university, they must graduate from high school “bachillerato” , in which they study for 2 years from 16 to 18 years. If a child studies in a Spanish school, he receives at the end of it certificate Bachillerato , in the British school – certificate A-Level , American and many international schools provide an opportunity to receive an international baccalaureate diploma IB .
Language of instruction
In public schools the main language of instruction is Spanish, in international schools about 50% in English and 50% in Spanish, in British and American schools – 90% in English. In regions with a second official language in public schools, half or most of the subjects are taught in the second official language. In Catalonia, often all the main subjects in public schools are taught in Catalan, in Valencia up to half of the subjects or most in Valenciano. In private schools with a Spanish system, among them there are bilingual schools, at least 30% of the subjects are given in English. nine0003
School uniform
Semi-public and private schools in Spain use school uniforms, which are very convenient. At the stage of a children’s school, this is most often a dressing gown, a sports uniform, a backpack, accessories for the pool. At other stages, official uniforms appear: pullovers, skirts, shoes for girls, trousers and boots for boys.
School canteen
Most semi-public and private schools have their own canteens, which take into account all the wishes of parents, including if children have allergies or religious dietary preferences. School meals in Spain enjoy well-deserved fame, many parents say that children at school eat better than at home. As it is correct, the educational process also implies a second breakfast around 10:30 in the morning. To do this, parents put tapers with biscuits, sandwiches, fruits or dried fruits in backpacks. In elementary school, most often there is also an afternoon snack around 4 p.m. The cost of meals in the school canteen is about 120-150 euros per month. nine0003
Daily routine
The school day in Spanish schools starts at about 9 am, classes last for 1.5 hours with short breaks, around 10:30 – second breakfast, at 12:30 lunch. After lunch until 15:00 a walk in the fresh air or additional classes, from 15:00-16:30 (17:00) classes.

Dear participants, please help with advice. Perhaps someone you have had a similar experience.
My daughter (3.5 g) went to a private home garden with a Waldofian bias for seven months, she really liked it there. There are five to eight children, a short stay until lunch. There was only a second breakfast (snack) in the garden, we ate hot food at home. At the end of April, the garden went traveling, and in May we decided to try to be like a simple garden next to the house. We walked for ten days, half a day. The daughter categorically refused to have breakfast, lunch and stay there for sleep. Apparently she became a violator of the general routine, and the nanny threatened her that if she did not eat, then her grandmother would not come for her. Poetmou on the eleventh day, she categorically refused to go there. And all attempts to persuade her are unsuccessful. She says that she is scared there, etc., in short, she doesn’t like it.
There is an option to go to the old short kindergarten next year, but I’m afraid that she will get used to the good things and she will have problems adapting in the future)) I’m afraid that later she will not be able to go to a simple kindergarten, then she will say that at school, the teacher does not treat her kindly, etc…
In general, I always thought that she is an oversensitive child, she reacts strongly to loud sounds and smells, very high nervous excitability, is strongly attached to me and very gentle with me. But a child psychologist recently told me that my daughter was poorly brought up, that she is a manipulator, and I am overprotective of her. That I took her from the new garden in vain, since she has no opportunity now to overcome and grow.
And after that I got confused, because on the one hand I want to protect her from aggression, on the other hand I don’t want her to live in a cocoon and so that the real world doesn’t break her later. On the one hand, I don’t want her to think that everything in the world revolves around her and everyone will take care of her, on the other hand, I don’t know how to convince her to go to a simple garden, and I don’t want to forcefully drag her there through hysteria. I don’t know what to do, sorry for the confusion.

Hello! We’ve had a problem recently. My daughter is 4 and has been attending nursery for three years now. I always went to the garden calm, cheerful. In general, the child is very responsive. Initiative, she always comes up to meet both adults and children. But something happened recently. For three days, the teachers told me that during the walk the child cries and asks to come to me. I talked to her. She explained that she was bored and wants to be with me always. But after all we and so together every day. Then it happened that we fell ill and during the illness our role for the autumn holiday was given to another child. I tried to explain to the child that it’s okay, I seem to understand. But after coming out of the disease every morning hysteria. I try to sit and talk with her in the kindergarten, but the teacher comes up and says that it’s time, that this won’t solve anything now. And takes it with terrible screams. It’s also a lot of stress for me. I come home and I can’t find a place for myself. But when I come to the kindergarten for her, she says that everything is fine, that she ate, slept, played. To the question – “Will you go to kindergarten tomorrow?” the teacher answers “Yes”, but “no” to me at home. When asked what she doesn’t like so much in the garden, she hasn’t talked about the role for a long time. He says that one boy offends, but I know that he used to offend, but now, on the contrary, he has become more calm. And she never had any problems with it. Well, the whole conversation always boils down to the fact that she does not want to part with me, never ever. I do not know what to do. We live in the Leningrad region, the kindergarten is the only one, and a group of this age too. Yes, and the teachers are good in my opinion. And you have to work. I work at home, but of course when she is in the garden it is easier for me to work, and faster. Help me please. Maybe the reason is completely different. Maybe she doesn’t agree on something? How to find out. How to improve the situation?

Good morning. Maria, the answer to your questions from the standpoint of child psychology.
3. The answer to your questions “Maybe she is not saying something? How to find out”
Answer. Do not panic. Most likely, the child is not hiding anything. he just understood the delights of being at home. where there is no rigid, as in kindergarten, daily routine, daytime sleep, compulsory classes, behavioral requirements, etc. Do not look for reasons where there is none. In order to eliminate your doubts, show the child to a child psychologist, at least online. I assure you, your daughter, when meeting with a child psychologist, in your presence will very pleasantly surprise you :)))
Your question is “How to improve the situation?”
Answer. For this you are worth it. at least:
1. Recognize: your child skillfully manipulates you with the help of tantrums and tears. The educator does the right thing, which firmly and harshly suppresses the manipulation of the child. You need to do the same. Remember: the more you persuade the child, the stronger his manipulation of you will be.
2. Urgently change. habitual for the child, behavior patterns and methods of interaction with him – this will allow you to stop the manipulation of the child, and be prepared for the fact that he will start looking for a new manipulation of you, for example: the “classic of the genre” of children’s manipulation, beloved by all children, by type: “headache , sore throat, tummy, leg and other parts of the body and body ache”
Wisdom to you.

Hello Maria! The reason for this behavior of your girl, of course, is, and it must be found. Think back to the moment your daughter first started refusing daycare. What then could be the root cause? Invite the child to draw what she does not like in the kindergarten. In your case, it may be necessary to consult a child psychologist. Maybe the moment of manipulation passes – your daughter realized that tears can achieve the desired result, and begins to use this technique. Watch the girl’s health. How she sleeps, how she plays with toys when you are not around, etc. Maybe there was a stressful situation, maybe the girl was afraid of something. You need direct communication with the child, This can only be done by a specialist. All the best.

Hello.
I talked to her. She explained that she was bored and wants to be with me always.
— Then maybe just give the child what he wants? After all, he knows better what he needs?
Of course, this is also a lot of stress for me
— And for the child? Go where you don’t want to go, and do what you don’t want to do.
I work at home, but of course when she is in the garden it is easier and faster for me to work.
– Perhaps knowing this! The child wants to go home. After all, mom is always at home!
Help please. Maybe the reason is completely different. Maybe she doesn’t agree on something?
– You can guess for a long time. If you don’t want the child to stay with you for another month, and yet you want to robotonize him to the standards and society (get rid of him for your needs and goals). And if you intuitively feel that something is wrong, but you yourself are not able to find out (the child does not want to break away from you). Then of course go to a child psychologist.
Peace is for you!

Hello Maria! At this age, children have a fear of the death of their parents, and especially their mothers. It always seems to the baby that until he sees his mother, something will definitely happen to her. And as soon as the moment of separation from the mother comes, anxiety and fear intensify, and the baby cries.
Try to conduct “training” separations for a very short period (go to the store, get mail, visit a neighbor, etc.). The child at such a moment should remain under the supervision of someone. Let’s make sure you come back. In d / s, try to give a clock, and draw beautiful watches and arrows on a piece of paper that indicate the time at which you will definitely come for it. Plan some things together for the evening, so that when you say goodbye to her in the garden, you remind her that you and her are waiting for you at home in the evening.
This fear is transient and affects all children, some more, some less. So everything is back to normal! The main thing is to give her confidence that you will always be with her, you will definitely come back for her and stay calm yourself, because children very subtly feel the emotions and feelings of their mother.

After School Questions to Ask Your Preschooler Every Day
After school questions to ask your preschooler every day.
Preschool is such a fun time for kids! So many new friends, games, and learning opportunities.
It can be bittersweet for moms. I know when Ben started I was so happy and excited for him, I knew he was going to love it. But I was also sad because there were whole chunks of his day I was no longer a part of!
The first few days of preschool I asked Ben a million questions on the drive home, but he was not exactly forthcoming with information. In fact, he usually gave me nothing. So I knew I had to get creative.
Fortunately for me, Ben’s preschool teachers would post an outline of their day outside the classroom every morning. They also set up a Facebook group and posted pictures. So I had a pretty good idea of what he did all day. That doesn’t mean I didn’t want to hear what he thought about it all though.
I found pretty quickly that the more questions I asked, the less information I got. (Anyone else have that problem?) So I boiled it down to three big questions. These three questions helped me gauge how Ben was doing at school, and it helped me emphasize some of our values.

3 After School Questions to Ask Your Preschooler Every Day
1. What was your favorite part of today?
I always ask what Ben’s favorite part of the day was first. This is a fun question, and it is pretty telling about the day. If something really made an impact, I heard about it right away.
I love hearing him get excited about what they are working on in school. It is also a telling question if he isn’t super talkative. Sometimes his favorite part of the day is just playing. Yes, this is a short answer that doesn’t really give a ton away. I usually ask some follow-up questions to this one. But the answer of playing is a good one too.
At this stage, play is the most important thing. Kids learn so much from just getting to be kids, so I like hearing that he had fun playing.
I like to use this question as a chance to remind us to look at the bright side of life. Every day there is something good that happens. I don’t want to set up unrealistic expectations for life, but I do want to teach my kids to look for the silver lining.
Being able to recognize the good helps build a happy heart and an attitude of gratitude, which are essential to just generally not being a spoiled brat.
2. What was your least favorite part of today?
Yes, I want to know the downsides of the day too. I don’t mean for this question to focus on the negative too much, but it is another good gauge of how the day went. Ben is really good about admitting when he gets a timeout, so I usually already know about that.
But this question is another opportunity for Ben to be honest with me about how his day went. (He’s a good kid, but he is a preschooler. Timeouts happen.) Hearing what didn’t work during Ben’s day gives me a chance to work on any issues he is having. We can discuss positive ways to resolve differences with friends, remember why we need to share, or just practice thinking about how other people feel.
Thinking of what we didn’t like as much is brings an important balance. While theoretically, I want my children to be happy and have fun all the time, that just isn’t feasible in life. We all have to do things we don’t like sometimes, and we all have to deal with things that just aren’t fun. Remembering that we didn’t like something but made it through helps build emotional durability.
3. What did you do that was kind today?
Kindness is something we value highly, and I strongly feel the earlier we start teaching it the better. Little ones can be so naturally kind, making it easy to encourage them to make good choices.
So every day I ask Ben how he was kind that day. Sometimes he needs some help with this one, but I know there was always something. We talk about how we can help friends or help clean up. Sharing is kind, so is taking turns. Usually, when we talk I find many ways he was kind, and it gives me some extra insight into his days.
Kindness is a core value, and one I think needs to be talked about every day. Whatever happens, if we have a good day or bad, we can find moments of kindness. Even on days when we make bad choices, we can still make good ones too. Nothing is a total loss and there is never a bad time to do something kind.

The goal of these 3 questions is, in part, information gathering. I want to know what is going on in my child’s life! These help me get my son talking about what he actually did at school. (As opposed to getting distracted with all the other important things on his mind.) I learn what he liked and what he didn’t like. I also get a good feel for how he is doing in general.
More than just getting information, these 3 questions help me reinforce important values and ideas.
One is that everything we do in life isn’t always going to be fun. We don’t have to like every moment of our day, but we still have to handle it.
That being said, the second value is that regardless of what is going on, we can find something to be grateful for. Maybe it is just a tiny sliver of positivity, but finding hope and looking for the good is important. These two ideas help build emotional resiliency.
And finally three, kindness counts. It’s so simple, but it is important to talk about it often. You rarely go wrong when you are kind. 3 little questions, 3 big lessons.

5 Questions to Ask Your Kids Today
Let’s walk through a scene we parents know all too well.
Your son walks in from school, backpack abandoned by the front door, past your wide-open arms, and into his room where, depending on age, he may:
Play on the floor with his latest LEGO creation
Try for a three-pointer from the top bunk to the net across the room
Crank up some tunes and shut the door before plopping in bed
You stand in the hallway, offering a gentle but desperate, “How was your day?” His reply? A shrug and a mumble.
We’ve all been there. And yet, as parents, we can’t give up. We long to live in connection with our kids. And our kids, regardless of the message they’re sending, long to live in connection with us too.
In an effort to strengthen our bonds, let’s take a look at five questions we can ask that might just break through the distracted exterior and help us to get to the heart of the matter: helping our kids to feel seen and loved exactly as they are.
A quick note: Timing matters. It’s okay to give our kids a breather during transitional periods and to focus our energy on connecting when they’ve had a minute to relax alone and to adjust to the atmosphere of the moment.
Five Questions You Can Ask to Better Connect with Your Kids
These questions are short and simple. But they don’t have to stay that way. You can use these as a springboard for further conversation and connection by asking follow-up questions and using what you learn to create opportunities for bonding later on.
1. What are you most excited about right now?
This might just be the best (and easiest) jumping off point for connection. Ask the question and be prepared to listen—for a while. After all, kids are often bursting with excitement about one thing or another. To have an adult’s willing ear is a treat like no other.
2. What do you and your friends laugh about these days?
We parents are no doubt cooler than our kids give us credit for. Still, you can take advantage of your access to youth—ahem, your children—to learn more about what’s funny to this generation. And then, look for ways to get more laughs in your home.
3. What are you: going to be for Halloween / wanting for Christmas / planning for your birthday?
These special occasions give kids an opportunity to dream big. And they don’t even have to be right around the corner—kids can tell you their birthday dessert and activity of choice, the item they want most in the world, and who they’d love pretending to be with just a few minutes of consideration. Consider it a window into your child’s imagination.
4. What’s making you mad lately?
We can tend to expect our kids to be happy-go-lucky creatures—what care do they have in this world? But if we think back to our own childhoods, we know there was plenty enough to be frustrated about. Imagine if you’d had an adult who gave credibility to your concerns and helped you work through your emotions and maybe even find a solution? You can be that adult for your kids.
5. What’s something cool you heard or learned about recently?
Kids like to feel knowledgeable and—I’m learning from my own little dudes—sometimes know about things I can’t confirm without Googling (I’m looking at you Water Walkers). Give your child’s brain a chance to shine and look for ways to learn more about their interests together.
If it feels right, you might answer a few of these questions yourself occasionally—sharing one of your favorite Halloween costumes growing up, a cool fact you learned the other day, and maybe even something small that made you angry.
And the next time your kid walks past you as he gets home from school, maybe this time you’ll offer him a snack and say, “Let’s chat soon, okay?

7 questions to ask yourself if the child does not obey //Psychological newspaper
Often it seems to us that all our pedagogical efforts pass without a trace for our children. Then we roll our eyes and ask: “Well, how much can you repeat ?!”, well, because really – how much? However, most often the problem is not in the number of repetitions and volume of our voice, but in something completely different.
If your educational strategy has led you to a dead end, then you need to change something. But first, ask yourself seven important questions to analyze what might be wrong. nine0003
Do I have realistic expectations?
To begin with, engage in self-education: study the developmental norms of children of different ages (not only physical, but also intellectual and emotional) and compare them with your requirements. For example, tantrums and restlessness in two-year-olds are absolutely normal, just like protest moods in teenagers.
With relevant knowledge about child development, you can not only adjust your expectations, but also better understand your child’s needs. Set rules that are appropriate for your child’s age and don’t demand more from him than he is capable of. nine0003
How consistent are my disciplinary decisions?
Rules only work when they are predictable. If the consequences of “wrong” behavior occur two out of three times, your child has a good chance of breaking the rules and getting away with it, and he will figure it out pretty quickly.
It is also important to remember that in some cases it takes a long time to change a child’s behavior. If you sent your child to your room after a big scandal, don’t expect it to never happen again. Learning new skills takes time and patience. nine0003
Do I do anything to reinforce bad behavior?
Sometimes parents themselves unconsciously push their children towards the wrong decisions. For example, if your child intentionally missed the bus and you drove them to school, you show them that the reward for bad behavior is a free ride.
Children also perceive attention—even negative attention—as a reward. In order not to support bad behavior, sometimes it is better to just ignore it than to pay attention to it. This can lead to your child finding new, more productive ways to get your attention when he finds his methods to be ineffective. nine0003
Do I have ways to reward good behavior?
Many adults do not want to go to work without a paycheck, and many children do not see the point in changing their behavior without a clear understanding of what you can get for it.
Don’t limit yourself to the negative consequences of bad behavior, remember the importance of the positive consequences of good behavior too. For younger children, a table with stickers for each achievement is suitable, for older children – a reward system. Even teenagers need your recognition when they make the right decisions. Praise children more often, regardless of age. nine0003
Do I know how to teach my child new skills?
Some behavioral problems arise because children simply do not know how else to behave in a certain situation. For example, if your child fights when he’s in a bad mood, it’s not enough to just tell him to stop. Talk to him, explain why a fight is not a way to defuse, and, most importantly, suggest “legal” and harmless ways to defuse.
In some cases, you can try role-playing games to practice new behavioral skills. Do not forget to praise the child and rejoice when he independently makes a choice in favor of the correct behavior. nine0003
Is there anyone who contradicts me?
If there are adults around the child who set their own rules that contradict yours, you should intervene in this process. Talk to your partner, relatives, caregivers, or teachers and communicate your rules and values to them. Conflicting signals coming from significant adults in a child’s life lead to misunderstandings and conflicts.
Instead of pulling the blanket over yourself, try to work out a common parenting strategy with other adults and make sure it works effectively together. If an agreement cannot be reached, then it may be necessary to limit the child’s communication with adults who purposefully undermine your authority in the eyes of the child. nine0003
How important are the changes I’m trying to make?
Sometimes parents get so hung up on trying to change their child’s behavior that they even forget why they started all this.
For example, if a child refuses to go to school, then this is a problem that needs to be addressed. If a child refuses to go to a circle or a sports section, then this can hardly be called a problem, it’s just his choice. Yes, perhaps you are convinced that this is very useful, but if for some reason he does not want to go there, then you should leave this right to him. nine0003
Often, when parents do something “in the best interests of the child,” they are not doing what the child wants. As a result, this leads to conflicts and disagreements, which in the long run do not make any sense.
If you are not sure whether to introduce new rules and be strict and persistent in some matter, then take a step back and assess the situation. If it’s about something that won’t harm your child in the future, then it’s probably worth giving in and allowing the child not to do what they don’t want to do. Instead, support the interests of the child and take part in what he chooses. nine0003

rules, sample and original questions –
Interview as a genre can be quite unpredictable. This is especially true for children, who are more spontaneous than adults. The interviewer is required to take into account the maximum number of factors, while not forgetting the vulnerability and inexperience of the child. Careful preparation is required, whether you are interviewing at a kindergarten graduation or at home.

Interesting questions
Often children can give out truly philosophical thoughts. They can lead to interesting (and even not so) questions. They should be asked only after you have talked to the child, and he begins to trust you.
— What will you be when you grow up? Why?
– What is your favorite character of fairy tales (cartoons)? Why? nine0064
– Who do you want to be like? Why?
— What is your favorite thing to do at home/kindergarten/school? Why?
— What has made you laugh/frightened lately? Why?
– What superpower would you like? Why?
– If you could (la) do whatever you want all day long, what would you do?
– If you could (la) conjure, what would you conjure (a)? Why?
— What should be done to make all people kind? Why? nine0064
— What qualities do you like most in people? Why?
– What (what) will you be when you grow up?
– What would you like (la) to change in the world?
“Why?” – a sacramental question that allows you to get a more detailed answer if the child does not tell himself.
It is worth noting that all these original questions are extremely general for the child, it is worth focusing on your goals and objectives, gently leading the child to topics of interest. nine0003
Methodology
The main rule of interviewing children is to try to win the child’s trust. To do this, you first need to just talk to him and only then ask questions of interest. First, you can play, draw with the children so that they get used to it and stop being embarrassed. In the shooting, you can also use toys, books, paints. The interaction of the child with the objects of his daily games looks lively and interesting. It is worth noting that the trust that has arisen cannot be abused and find out information that the child would not like or even dangerous to tell. nine0003
Children should be listened to, carefully monitored their state of mind, not interrupted or interrupted so as not to cause psychological trauma. It is worth remembering that after the interview, the life of the child continues, the consequences of the conversation should not be allowed to be deplorable. This is especially true in crisis situations – conversations with victims of violence, disasters.
If the interview is not about a specific person, but about an event or phenomenon, you can interview a group of children. Together, children adapt faster and stop being shy. The group should consist of four to six people, in which case the journalist also acts as a moderator: he does not allow one of the children to speak for everyone, interrupt and interfere with speech. nine0064
We should not forget about the legal subtleties: not only for interviews, but also for simple shooting, parents’ permission in writing is required. Each interviewer should have a sample of such permission at hand.

Example of an interview in a newspaper
The main thing in interviews with kids is naturalness. Children feel false and do not tolerate it. In order to take a good interview, you need to make it clear to the child that you are similar to him.
