    Happy Kids Model School

    Marina and Matvey

We have been going to the modeling school for the second year already and this year we plan to continue our studies at the Pro-Course. We ended up in Happy Kids quite by accident, but we did not regret our choice at all.

We had a lot of different projects and you could see how Matvey is changing, how he starts to pose, react to the camera and I think that we are making great progress. At the age of 4, Matvey can tell and show how to pose.

Last year we already received our first contract, passed the casting, we were selected by an agent who is still working with us. The shooting was carried out for a famous Korean brand, where Matvey received his first fee, and immediately after that we went to Detsky Mir, although later I had to explain to him that you can’t take all the toys home with your fee. But on the other hand, Matvey has a goal and he is looking forward to when the borders open and he will fly to China.

    Olga and Kira

Good afternoon, my daughter Kira has been visiting the children’s modeling agency for a year now, I really like the teaching staff, we love our director, who always helps us and answers all our questions, always goes to us for some compromises.

I chose this course for my daughter because I want her to be able to open up. Kira, like many children, has a fear of people, the stage, new acquaintances, and thanks to Happy Kids I see progress, and my daughter and I are very happy.

In addition to classes, we have cool photo shoots, they are always different, and the photos are very beautiful.

    Evgenia and Veronika

We have been attending Happy Kids for the second year already, we really like the classes and the beautiful and colorful shootings we take part in.

Some of the most beloved projects, the shooting of “Coca Cola” and the photo shoot “Your Choice”, where the children were asked to choose fast food or healthy food.

I would also like to mention the opportunity to be realized in other projects separately from the school. Several times we have already taken part in the shooting for a glossy magazine, we collect each magazine, put it as a souvenir, and when guests come to us, we will definitely share our successes.

    Gulya and Artem

Good afternoon, we have been attending the Happy Kids model school since 2019. We really like the classes, the teachers, I see that my child has become more free, liberated, the feeling of embarrassment in front of the camera and in society has been lost.

    Anna and Zlata

Good afternoon, my name is Anna, and this is my daughter Zlata. We have been studying at Happy Kids for the second year. We came here absolutely by accident, I saw an advertisement on social networks and decided to sign up for a trial lesson.

We really like to come here, the teaching staff makes us happy, we adore our directors, and Zlata likes to attend photo shoots most of all.

    Anastasia and Polina

We have been studying at the Happy Kids model school for five months now. This school brightened up our life, and it became more intense and rich. With every lesson, with every exam shooting, I see that my child is gaining invaluable skills and experience. In addition to classes, we are constantly involved in portfolio shooting. Also during the training, we took part in three shows. We really like the individual approach to the child from both teachers and photographers, as well as the director.

    Marina and Natalia

We have been attending Happy Kids for about two months. During this short period of time, we have already managed to take part in several photo projects, also took part in the show from the Kiabi brand, and also defoliated along the catwalk at the “Mom is Near” festival. My child, after attending a trial lesson, immediately got excited about the desire to start learning as soon as possible. After classes, Alice became more self-confident, it became easier to make contact with other children. We are very happy to study at your school.

    Oksana and Zlata

Our acquaintance with the Happy Kids modeling agency began with a casting for the cover of Happy Kids Magazine. My daughter was chosen and we were very happy. At the moment, we are just starting our studies at this school, but despite this, we have already managed to take part in several photo projects. We really like the sincere and friendly atmosphere, as well as the warm attitude of the whole team towards children and parents.

    Irina and Kristina

My name is Irina, my daughter has been going to modeling school for eight months now. During this time, Christina has changed a lot, she began to listen more to other people.

We do these things through free play, music, outside activities, story time and planned small group time. We do not follow a particular curriculum but instead pull from all different philosophies, workshops and training we have attended over the years. Our staff regularly attends conferences and training, workshops offered through Community Resources for Children and college classes. We also believe in low teacher to child ratios and the value of parent involvement. We are run by a parent board of directors and tuition pays virtually all of our expenses with the exception of a few yearly fundraisers to buy the extras. West Harlem Head Start & Family Child Care Network

Educating Young Children For Over 50 Years

West Harlem Community Organization. Inc., (WHCO), a not-for profit program, has sponsored West Harlem Head Start (WHHS) since 1966 and a Family Child Care Network since 2012. Our mission is to provide high quality, comprehensive and inclusive children and family services that meet the changing needs of the community. To this end, the children and their families participate in a program that incorporates Early Childhood Development and Health Services which focuses on each child’s educational, developmental and health needs. Family and Community Engagement offers the parent opportunity and support for growth, so that they can identify their own strengths, needs and interests, finding their own solutions; and Program Governance which affords parents and community representatives the opportunity to participate with the Board of Directors and management staff in shared decision-making concerning program design and implementation. West Harlem currently operates a center based preschool program serving 149 children and a Family Child Care Network providing care to 251 children in Department of Health licensed provider homes.

IS MY CHILD ELIGIBLE FOR HEAD START OR EARLY HEAD START?

Children from birth to age five from families with low income, according to the Poverty Guidelines published by the federal government, are eligible for Head Start and Early Head Start services.
Children in foster care, homeless children, and children from families receiving public assistance (TANF or SSI) are categorically eligible for Head Start and Early Head Start services regardless of income.
Head Start programs may enroll up to 10% of children from families that have incomes above the Poverty Guidelines. Programs may also serve up to an additional 35% of children from families whose incomes are above the Poverty Guidelines, but below 130% of the poverty line if the program can ensure that certain conditions have been met.
Pregnant women may also be eligible for Early Head Start.

DOES HEAD START ACCEPT CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS?

The Head Start Act of 2007 requires that, beginning in fiscal year 2009 (i.e. beginning October 1, 2008) “not less than 10 percent of the total number of children actually enrolled by each Head Start agency and each delegate agency will be children with disabilities who are determined to be eligible for special education and related services, or early intervention services…by the State or local agency providing services under section 619 or part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act [IDEA] (20 U.S.C. 1419, 1431 et seq.).”

ARE CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE ELIGIBLE FOR HEAD START?

Children in foster care are Head Start eligible, regardless of family income.

WHAT IF MY INCOME LEVEL IS HIGHER THAN THE POVERTY GUIDELINES?

Head Start programs may enroll up to 10% of children from families that have incomes above the Poverty Guidelines. Programs may also serve up to an additional 35% of children from families whose incomes are above the Poverty Guidelines, but below 130% of the poverty line if the program can ensure that certain conditions described in the section 645 (a)(1)(B)(iii)(II) of the Head Start Act have been met.

ARE MEALS SERVED AS PART OF HEAD START?

Yes Head Start believes in using mealtimes as a key component of children’s educational experience. Children are served healthy meals and snacks that provide a variety of color, nutrients, flavors, and textures.  TOFMHS Child Care Partners serves meals family-style, which provides an opportunity for children and teachers to gather at the table to eat the same foods, serve themselves, and socialize as a group.

HOW IS HEAD START DIFFERENT THAN OTHER CHILDCARE PROGRAMS AND WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE HEAD START?

The Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP) is a federally-funded, national child and family development programs which provide comprehensive services for children from six-weeks to thirty-five months, and their families. Head Start and Early Head Start services go beyond simple childcare or daycare and provide a holistic approach to serving the child and family. Services for children promote school readiness, and include early education, health, nutrition, mental health, parent involvement and services for children with special needs. EHS-CCP partners with parents around the education of their children, and incorporates research-based curriculum, ongoing child outcomes assessment, and periodic family reports regarding children’s progress.

“Get there early enough for standby tickets”

    dec. 2022

We loved the show itself and got tickets for the first time through Iquota. Another time we tried to get on reserve tickets, but without success. We got there at 6.15am and were 17th and 18th in line for reserve tickets. Be aware that you are not allowed to queue and they start handing out tickets at 10am. The show we were trying to get into was the last one before Christmas, which is probably why it was so busy. But only 14 people got in and, unfortunately, we had to return home. The first four people in line got there at 3am, just to give you an idea. nine0003

    “We didn’t make the cut”

    dec. 2022

Unfortunately, we queued online a month before our visit, but never received an email with tickets. Couldn’t spend a day standing in line only to be let down again. And to be honest, I don’t think it’s fair that they even have a waiting line when there are people who have requested and are still waiting in line for tickets.

    STANDBY TICKET

    Nov. 2022 • Traveling alone

I thought I’d leave a review about my experience getting a standby ticket as I researched it a lot before arriving in NYC and thought that this might help somebody else! nine0207 So first thing I’ll say is I was lucky enough to be in New York for 10 days so I dedicated this whole day pretty much to waiting around because I was desperate to see the show – I would allow the whole day if you plan to go.
I got to the queue at about 8.15 am which I thought was quite late but I was number 12 which isn’t bad at all! The people ahead of me were Mariah Carey super fans and some of them got there at 4am! I read reviews that people got there at 6am and there was already lots of people in line so it’s a risk – probably depending on the day, weather and guests. The queue is inside by the way but it was really sunny so maybe people wanted to be outside. By 9am the queue was massive, we didn’t get given standby tickets until 10am but I made a friend in the queue which made the experience even more lovely and less lonely! Made the waiting actually fun!
I got my ticket at 10am, went and did a few bits and returned at 3.30pm to see if they had space for me. They line you up in order and when they know how many they can let go in they come back (I’ve heard that some days they let 46 people in and others nobody gets in so you really never know) they kept 32 of us there and took 10 people through to the studio – the rest of us had to return in the next 20 minutes or so to see if they could fit us. There was then a lot of waiting – the show was delayed which was part of the reason – I also think that a few people left the studio because of this and therefore quite a few of us got in. They gave us sweets for waiting! nine0207 I GOT IN WOO!
I really do recommend it, it was a highlight of my trip and I had a great time. They chat to the audience a lot before the show and I really enjoyed joining in. It’s fabulous to be able to watch it all happen live! Jimmy is so so lovely and came and spoke to the audience and felt really personable. Watching it all unfold in front of my was fantastic and we all got a copy of Mariah Carey’s book as a souvenir!
All in all to me it was worth it and I’d suggest it to anybody 🙂

A fantastic experience, but not for everyone

    Sep. 2022 • For two

I had applied for tickets just as they were released but wasn’t able to get them so instead we joined the queue for standby tickets on a Friday morning. At 7am we were 7th & 8th in line. We were standing for 3 hours before the nbc store opened and they issued our tickets. We needed photo ID & proof of vaccinations. We returned at 3pm and joined another line of more than 80people all with standby tickets! They held us in a cramped space, standing up for around 90mins before selecting the first 28 of us to go thru. Sadly, one of our party who was 11th in line went to the bathroom and on her return she was told she had missed the cut. This woman was disabled and so it was particularly uncomfortable to witness. The show was fantastic, Jimmy was brilliant and it was a true highlight of our weekend on NYC. We also had great fun with the lovely people we got chatting to in the queue. I would not recommend the standby ticket process for anyone that might have difficulty standing for several hours or would struggle with doing this in an enclosed space in close proximity to others. nine0003

    Glad we did it but…

    June 2022 • With friends

After reading other people’s reviews, I found some similarities and some differences.

    1. A lot of waiting. Just be prepared. nine0207 2. Jimmy did NOT interact with the crowd except for a bit during taping and at the end, thanking us or coming. Otherwise, he kept to himself and his people. Seems that other reviewers had different experiences. This was a big disappointment.
    3. Musical guest – Carrie Underwood. They acted like she was going to perform. Jimmy introduced her and then they told us to act like we saw her performance. She did not perform and they did not even play a tape of her performance. Big disappointment. We were totally misled. I get that it’s free but come on – you can give your crowd a heads up or at least play her performance for us. Someone else wrote about a similar experience. nine0207 4. Taped an interview for a show that would air later. Guest was Tracey Ellis Ross. She made up for no Carrie. She’s a phenomenal guest!
    5. The Roots were AWESOME. Played for the crowd before Jimmy started the show. Such great energy from them.

Overall, glad we went. Was a total bucket list item. Just disappointed with some of the things that happened.

We went to get standby tickets on Monday, May 23rd. We got in line at 7am and they gave us cards at 10am and were 4th and 5th in line. Even made friends while we waited. They ended up taking 15 people. We sat at the back but had a good view of the stage! 10/10 experience!

    Quelle désillusion !!!

    Apr. 2022 • Traveling alone

    Stand-by kaarten

    March 2022 • For two

We konden geen kaarten meer bestellen. Hierop geprobeerd Stand-by kaarten te krijgen.

    Got standby tickets!

    Feb. 2022 • Traveling alone

Tickets are so hard to get. I got on the website the day they released tickets, about 10 minutes early logged in and requested tickets the second they became available. nine0207 I got the email with “the show is at capacity.”
So i decided to go standby. They would start giving out standby cards at 11:00, got there at 8:50 and there were about 9 people in front. They told us to return at 3:00pm.
By 3pm, about 45 people had been given standby tickets. Then they called the first 10, yay, I got in!
Some seats were yet to be filled so approximately 18 standbys got in.
Gordon Ramsey and Dominic Fike (he performed!!) were guests.
Cool experience if you’re in NYC. And hey, it’s free. nine0003

A+ fun but plan for the entire afternoon

    Jan. 2022

I got my ticket the day they were available online. I was solo so maybe that helped. It is very fun to see how the process works and how Jimmy, The Roots and Higgins do the show. But be prepared – it’s an entire afternoon and evening. You get in line at 3 (I suggest 2:30) and walk out after 6:15. I highly recommend trying to get tickets if you are a fan of Jimmy. nine0003

    A Perfect Day

    Aug. 2021

Annie made the NY trip FANTABULOUS for us and the grandkids. The boys (ages 10 & 12) cannot stop talking about it and they said that Annie didn’t seem like a tour guide – she seemed like she was really our friend and I think we all felt that way. Annie was able to read those boys and knew when they needed breaks. They loved a break in Central Park. They were in heaven climbing and jumping and finding turtles. They did say their other favorite thing was Top of the Rock. nine0207 WE could have spent hours trying to figure out WHAT to see and how to get to the various sites but Custom & Private. Com did all the pre-planning with us (thanks Cliff!) and Annie executed the plan with perfection. WELL WORTH the price of the full day. We have told all of our friends who wonder what to do with their grandchildren about our great adventure with Cliff and Annie.

By Far the best way to experience NYC during COVID. We didn’t have to worry about the subway with our three year old. We had an amazing tour learning the different areas to come back and explore later. Our older two boys who are college age and west coasters left the experience thinking east coast living wouldn’t be too bad! Our tour guide was excellent!! 10/10 would highly recommend!!! nine0003

Best way to see city safely during Covid

    Dec 2021

From my first conversation with Cliff, his charming personality ensured every detail of our private tour would exceed my expectations and he delivered!! He provided insights and was able to customize our top iconic NYC highlights to meet the needs of my MIL’s limited walking ability, while providing key NYC sites for my children. He followed up directly after our tour ended to confirm he met our standard and was so kind as to send us some of his personal photos of the city as a family reminder of the memories created in NYC. Cliff is absolutely the best in the biz and I would highly recommend spending the time to utilize his team to max your time in the city safely during Covid. I look forward to utilizing him for next years trips!!!! nine0003

Minneapolis, Minn. last Saturday. The bus was excellent and the narrative that you provided was superb. We were just overwhelmed by the wealth of information that you presented to our group. You have an abundance of energy and it showed throughout our time together. Also, we couldn’t believe the beautiful set of prints that you gave us. We were in such a hurry to catch the ferry that we never got a chance to thank you directly.Cliff, you gave us and our guests a very memorable trip to NYC that we’ll be talking about for a long time. We would highly recommend you to anyone who was looking for a customized and personally guided trip to your beautiful city. nine0003

    Sincerely,

    OUR MISSION

At Camp Roosevelt Firebird we create a caring and fun-filled experience every summer. Our community is diverse, equitable, inclusive and provides opportunities for all kids. We are thoughtful stewards of our land. At camp, we do our best to live by these values. We inspire our campers to become leaders, make friends, laugh often and make the world a better place.

    Fun Summer Camp Activities

Camp Roosevelt Firebird has everything you could ask for in a sleepaway summer camp. Lake, field, forest, court, and barn … we’ve got it all! Our overnight summer campers get to enjoy countless great activities and experiences. Our energetic staff creates imaginative, silly and offbeat games, and the boys and girls get to play, learn and grow. We put our own spin on the normal sleepaway summer camp, and make it extraordinary.

At Camp Roosevelt Firebird, what might start as a carnival, a relay race, a campfire, a dance or soccer game may turn into something totally different! We may suddenly dress up, act goofy and let it all hang out.

The bottom line is: Our summer camp knows how to play. Learn more about our activities here!

    Independence

Summer camp is a time to break away from rigid schedules. Our sleepaway summer campers choose two supervised activities every morning that last a few days. This lets our boys and girls try a variety of new, fun activities all summer.

Our overnight summer campers have structured free time every afternoon where they choose from a menu of possibilities. Once a week, cabin groups plan their own day of activity.

At Camp Roosevelt Firebird, we encourage our summer campers to explore individuality, independance and fun!

    Individual Attention

At Camp Roosevelt Firebird, we’re dedicated to making sure that your child has the best possible time at our summer camp.

Before your child even attends Camp Roosevelt Firebird, we do our best to visit your home to get to know you. We try to match up your child with a “buddy camper” from your town. We constantly consult with a child’s parents, counselors and his/her friends at camp.

We keep tabs on how each child is adjusting and experiencing summer camp. We observe them, talk with them and do our best to develop relationships. In this way, over days and even years, each individual camper’s strengths come to light.

    Personal Growth

Our focus is to help your child grow. Sleepaway summer camp has been found to help boost children’s confidence, resilience and teach social skills.

Our expert staff guide activity choices and encourage summer campers to try new things: a mountain bike ride in the woods, fishing, zip lining, etc. A camper might read a poem in front of 100 people, speak out in a cabin discussion, lead a dance group or come up with an activity of his/her own.

All campers are recognized and encouraged at our “formation” meeting twice a day. Counselors create a safe and respectful environment that allows them to make friendships and resolve cabin conflicts.

    A Meaningful Community

At Camp Roosevelt Firebird, we’re a team. Every camper does chores and plays a part. We welcome suggestions to improve life at our sleepaway summer camp. Campers might paint a cabin or build a new hiking trail. Together, we create exciting programs and solve problems.

We’re very diverse and this sets us apart. Our summer campers and staff come from all walks of life; camp is inclusive, multicultural, international and draws from across the socioeconomic spectrum.

Our summer camp strives to be green! We grow food on our small farm and carefully raise animals. We compost waste, recycle what we can and minimize our use of natural resources. We do our best to care for each other and our natural environment.

At Camp Roosevelt Firebird, our summer campers and staff make sure to take time to reflect. We have weekly values based campfires that inspire our campers to make a difference at camp and in the larger world. We offer opportunities for community service.

    Our Location

251st case of shootings of people in the USA since the beginning of 2019!

Three tragedies occurred over the weekend in the states of Texas, Ohio and Illinois. At least 29 people were killed, about 60 were injured. Later it turned out that he had acquired the weapon via the Internet. In Texas, a man who attacked visitors to a mall was charged with aggravated murder. According to CNN, prosecutors intend to seek the death penalty. According to Donald Trump, in both cases, the shooting is associated with mental illness of the attackers.

251st case of shootings of people in the USA since the beginning of 2019, according to Vesti! Just 13 hours after El Paso, the Dayton, Ohio massacre. 24 year old local bought a rifle on the Internet and went to kill.

“The officers were patrolling the area at the time when the bars were closing. They heard shots, saw a crowd of people running. Within 20 seconds they met a suspect. He fired back, tried to get inside the establishments, but he was soon neutralized”, Dayton Police Chief Richard Beale reports.

The shooter had a solid arsenal. And no matter how many cartridges he still discharged, the police did not arrive in time. The shooter fired at everyone indiscriminately, among the dead was his own sister, who at that moment was walking along the street.

“Hate has no place in our country. And we’ll take care of it. I’ve talked to the Attorney General, to the FBI director, to governors, to members of Congress about what we can do. I’ll be making a statement soon. This has been happening in our country for years We must finally stop this,” said Donald Trump.

While the president is preparing a statement, residents of the shocked cities go to donate blood to the victims. Volunteers bring food to donors and doctors. The center works overtime, accepting 500 donors a day.

Meanwhile, the El Paso shooter is alive and well and testifying. He faces the death penalty. By the way, he shot six Mexicans – he purposefully hunted migrants. Authorities in a neighboring country have already said they may request the extradition of the killer.

Undoubtedly, this is a great tragedy for the inhabitants of not only the city, but the whole country as a whole! The controversy surrounding the free circulation of weapons in the states still does not subside. However, in this regard, one involuntarily recalls the warning of the US State Department in the field of tourism safety in other countries, for example, in Crimea, for which the department has set the 4th level of warning regarding trips to the peninsula and categorically advises against traveling there. Quote: “… Crimean authorities continue to mistreat foreigners and locals, especially against those who challenge power on the peninsula.” Original >

And the warning about the whole of Russia is off the charts. Quote: “… Terrorists can attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist sites, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, local governments, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, parks, major sporting and cultural events , educational institutions, airports and other public places”. Original >

Experts are wondering: why is the US not in this ranking? What position would they take there with over 250 shootings in seven months at people? It turns out 35 cases per month, daily!

Undoubtedly, the safety and protection of tourists, respect for their dignity are an indispensable condition for the development of tourism in any country. And such cases of uncontrolled use of weapons with numerous victims, in fact – terrorism today is a real threat to tourism and tourist movements.

The Public Council of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the SWAO and traffic inspectors visited the Moreon children’s summer camp

Photo: On the Day of the traffic light, the public figure Vladimir Oganesyan and traffic inspectors congratulated the children of the summer camp.

On the Day of the traffic light, the public figure Vladimir Oganesyan and the traffic inspector congratulated the children of the summer camp.

“Today is a wonderful holiday – we are celebrating the birthday of the Traffic Light, yes, the traffic light also has a holiday. And what is a traffic light, do you know? ”, – with these words, the public man began his event.

The police plunged the children of the Moreon summer camp into the story of the appearance of a traffic light on the roads. August 5 – this date was determined in 1914, at the time when four electrical structures – models of James Hoag – were first installed at the intersection of 105th Street and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. In our country, the first traffic light model appeared about 100 years ago in the city of Leningrad at the intersection of modern Nevsky and Liteiny avenues. They are very similar to the traffic lights that we can see now on our streets, but they had only two light lamps (green and red), and their switching was accompanied by a sound signal.

The representative of the Public Council under the Department of Internal Affairs Vladimir Oganesyan, together with the employees of the traffic police of the Department of Internal Affairs, told interesting facts about traffic lights, consolidated and summarized the Rules of the road with a traffic light and its signals. Unusual monuments to traffic lights were installed in Russia, in the cities of Novosibirsk and Perm. In addition to street two- and three-signal control structures, there are many more types: railway, bicycle, reversible, for shuttle buses, for pedestrians, tram, river, as well as devices installed in public transport.

Everyone present in a playful way was once again reminded of the need to comply with the Rules of the Road, be vigilant on the roads: dismount from bicycles and scooters, and also take off your hood and headphones before passing pedestrian crossings.

At the end of the event, the children were given sweet prizes, because what a birthday if there is no fun and gifts. The kids thanked the public and traffic inspectors and promised to develop the skills of safe behavior on the streets of the city.

I think children will be interested here. To be honest, I do not like alligators and snakes, so I was not wildly delighted. But what surprised me is that even the little allegators are very strong, it is difficult to hold them in your hands.

We stopped here on our way back from Galveston, it’s a great place. The staff were very knowledgeable. I studied things that I didn’t know. You can swim with the alligators, my little niece loved doing it. Remember if you want to make a travel book 24 hours in advance alligator swamps. This is a must. nine0003

    We loved it!

    March 2017 • Family vacation

The only suggestions I have is to go class split into shorter portions and make the staff more involved with every guest they see. It’s not very clean to walk around or go unless you enter the hotel. Also, we paid extra for pets and other hotels but it seemed like we would be able to do that for an extra charge. Perhaps if people with inexperienced workers were identified early on, the extra pay would be worth it. Everyone had a great time! Thank you! nine0003

Thank you for your suggestions! We are all still getting used to the transition of entrances. I’m not sure if you had been here before walking through the Big Green Metal Gator, but the entrance used to be where the main building is. Its running a lot smoother since March. Change takes time, but we are all doing our best to make Gator Countrys’ visits the best experience we can give you. We have regular admission and our adventure package. We don’t charge extra for interaction with our smaller animals. That comes with either package. The neon yellow bands are for the adventure package and we normally don’t offer it during field trips because of time and clothes getting wet. Feel free to come back and visit anytime. Our adventure packages take place on weekends from here on out until school is out and we don’t have field trips.

Pavel Astakhov returned to Texas – Picture of the day – Kommersant . The official clarified that the Russian authorities became aware of another incident from the message of an “American citizen”, and then “an adopted girl applied to the Russian Embassy with a complaint about her parents.” The Texas Child Protection Service confirmed to Kommersant that the Klimov sisters were indeed removed from the family and temporarily placed in an orphanage, but all accusations against foster parents are based on their testimony. nine0003

Pavel Astakhov announced a new scandal with Russian adopted children in the US in his Twitter microblog. According to the official, the first report of bullying of three orphans in the state of Texas came from “an American citizen who observed this family and adopted children several months ago,” and in early March, “one of the foster girls independently applied to the Russian Embassy with a complaint about the adoptive parents “. nine0003

As evidence, the commissioner cited a photograph of a handwritten letter beginning with the words “Dear Russian Consulate. ” True, this time Pavel Astakhov preferred not to rush to conclusions and suggested that the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Education first “request all information about this case from the US authorities, and then take action.”

As Kommersant found out, 16-year-old Anastasia Klimova and her 15-year-old sister Svetlana were taken into care by Texas state authorities on March 21. Their older brother, 17-year-old Alexei, ran away from home last June and is still on the federal wanted list. nine0003

The children were adopted by Michael and Panny Deckert from Silsby, Texas, in Krasnokamensk, Perm Region, in 2003. Child Protection Officer Shari Pulliam confirmed to Kommersant that the state’s social services have received reports of “improper treatment” of adopted children before, but several investigations were closed due to “lack of evidence.” Nevertheless, she noted that relations in the family “did not develop easily” and, on the recommendation of social workers, foster parents attended psychotherapy sessions with their children. nine0003

A few years ago, employees of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Houston checked the living conditions in a foster family, but, according to Ms. Pulliam, they did not notice any special problems.

She reported that in early March, the state’s child abuse hotline received a call from an anonymous caller claiming that one of the girls had been sexually abused by her foster family. This information was confirmed by the Klimov sisters themselves in a conversation with social workers. “Based on the statements received from the girls, we asked the court to remove them from the family and, until the end of the investigation, transfer them to the custody of the state authorities,” Shari Pulliam told Kommersant. nine0003

By court decision, the sisters were temporarily placed in an orphanage. “They have completed the necessary medical examinations and are now doing well,” Ms. Pulliam added. At the same time, the state authorities continue to search for the escaped Alexei. True, according to the laws of Texas, a 17-year-old boy is not required to return to a foster family and can choose his own place of residence.

In a conversation with Kommersant, psychotherapist Diane Black from Beaumont, Texas, admitted that she was the very “American citizen” who drew the attention of the authorities to the situation in the Deckert family. She said that she had been fighting the state’s social services for the fourth year in a row, but all her appeals, until recently, remained unanswered. nine0003

Ms. Black visited her adopted children for the first time in the summer of 2008 and was amazed by the conditions in which they live. “The windows of the house were boarded up, the orphans were not allowed outside and were not even allowed to wave their hands to the neighbors,” she says.

According to Diane Black, the brother and sisters were not allowed to go to school. The foster mother constantly beat the children and once even knocked out Alexei’s front teeth. The father, in turn, constantly tried to get rid of the boy. “In 2008, he called me to his place and said that I could take the child with me,” she says. nine0003

At the urging of the psychologist, the parents still allowed the children to go to school, but nevertheless they constantly tried to run away from home. “I can count at least nine such cases,” said Diane Black. In addition, Alexei was arrested at the age of 12 on charges of theft, and then repeatedly got into the police for various offenses.

In May 2009, a therapist attempted to personally drive the children to the State Child Protective Services office. “I had a small business – a private orphanage, and I was ready to explain that it would be better for them,” she explained to Kommersant. As a result, however, the children were returned to a foster family, and Diane Black herself was arrested, accused of organizing the kidnapping and at the same time deprived of her license to work with children. nine0003

Since then, she says she has been suing the state and has not seen the children in the last three years. Despite this, in March 2013 she sent an email to Pavel Astakhov, describing the situation in detail. “I think the authorities finally reacted only because there were a lot of Russian officials in Texas at the time who were investigating the death of another Russian boy,” she elaborated.

State Child Welfare Services declined to comment on Ms. Black’s account. “We only relied on the information received from the girls and cared about their safety,” said Shari Pulliam. nine0003

The accusations against them were called groundless by the adoptive parents. In a telephone conversation with Kommersant, Penny Deckert said that one of her daughters actually called the hotline and stated that her adoptive father was raping her. “This is far from the first lie we have heard from her,” she says.

“For the past seven years, all we’ve been doing is trying to help these kids, but getting threats and false accusations of violence in return,” lamented Penny Deckert. She clarified that in the past two years her husband has undergone two heart surgeries, so “the words about some kind of sexual harassment look absurd.

What is a career goal statement? (examples + tips) · Resume.io

Career goals can be tricky business. Creating them requires finding the delicate balance between too easy and too ambitious. Be SMART and thoughtful, and you’re halfway there. This blog will get you the rest of the way.

Quite often during either a job interview
or the employee review process, candidates face the classic question: What are your career goals? Another version of this is: Where do you see yourself in one year? Five years? Ten years?

Your answer may affect how a hiring manager or your current boss sees you and your career path. You may think that giving an over-the-top answer such as, “I want to be the CEO!” will show your ambition, and it may elicit a smile, but it doesn’t show you’ve thought about how you’re planning to get to the top – if that’s really where you want to be. That’s why you need to be prepared to answer this question with detailed, realistic goals or SMART goals.

Below you will find the following:

Our newsletter is on its way. The best resume & job tips from our career experts will now be sent your inbox every 2 weeks!

    • The answer to the question: What are career goals?
    • How to write excellent career goals
    • Using the SMART goal system
    • Long-term career goals examples
    • Short-term career goals examples

If you are prepared with true, realistic goals in your next interview, you will come off as thoughtful and about where you want your career to go and how you plan to get there.

    What are career goals?

Simply put, career goals are skills or tasks you wish to complete in the future that may or may not lead to a lateral shift or promotion. Vague, dry professional goal statements such as “I want a raise”
or “I want a promotion” tell your manager what you want; great professional goals tell the manager how you are going to learn new skills or take on new responsibilities that benefit your workplace.

You can take it a step further by identifying resources you may need to help you reach those goals.

    How to set career goals

When you are asked what your goals at work are, your boss may be trying to suss out several different facts about you:

    • How ambitious are you?
    • What direction do you want to go in?
    • Are you happy where you are?
    • What new skills do you want to acquire that will benefit the group?
    • Are you planning to leave?

Relate your goals in a way that they impart the information you want your boss to have about your plans. Let on that you are ambitious and someday want their job and maybe you will end up with a great mentor, but you may want to glide over your plan to move on from the company at the first opportunity, afterall, you don’t know when that might be or what the future will bring at your current position.

Avoid this weakness at all costs

    Work backwards

Start by considering your ultimate career goal. Do you want to be the CEO? Where are you now? What steps do you envision on the path to the top? Are you going through marketing? sales? IT? finance? The best career goals mark milestones along with concrete to-dos to get you there.

Be firm in your vision. If you don’t know where you want to go, you won’t be able to chart your course.

    Expert tip

Make a skills list and an experience list

So you want to run the IT department some day. Excellent career goal! Make a checklist of the skills
you need that you don’t have or haven’t demonstrated on the job. How will you acquire them? In what order?

Do the same for the experience you will need to add to your resume. Each of the items on those lists can now be written as a career goal.

    Using the SMART goal system

You may be familiar with this method of creating goals. Some schools teach them to students and some employers use them as part of your performance review. This method helps develop career goals by requiring criteria to define them. SMART goals are:

    • Specific: That means you need to say exactly what you want to achieve. A specific career goal example tells which class you are going to take to gain accounting skills, not just that you want to take an accounting class.
    • Measurable: Obviously, if you’re taking a class, the measurement is its completion, but other work goals may be more amorphous. How will you know you have achieved this goal?
    • Attainable: Is your goal realistic? Will you really be the CEO in the next five years?
    • Relevant: So you want to learn photography. Amazing, but what does that have to do with your career? How does it help you take a step on your career path?
    • Time-bound: When can you do this? How long will it take?

SMART goals benefit both your employer and you. They help you visualize your path, define the steps you need to take, measure your progress, and point out weaknesses you need to strengthen, according to MasterClass.

    Expert tip

How do I describe my career goals?

Keep it streamlined. Choose one or two of your top-level goals and broadly explain how you will set about achieving them. Explain how your new skills or accomplishments will help your department or company and always be realistic.

Let’s get down to the nitty gritty. You know what goals are and you know the criteria to set them. Next, let’s look at some good examples of career goals.

    Long-term career goal examples

A long-term career goal is one that will take you more than a year to complete. They may or may not answer where you see yourself in five years, but they definitely outline your vision for how you will reach your ultimate career goal.

Think along the lines of a nurse who wants to eventually supervise the cardiac care unit or a teacher who wants to run a school some day. They won’t get there overnight, but they need to start developing the skills, attributes and experience they will need to reach their loftiest career goals.

This is where you say: “I want to become sales manager of the IT department and here is a SMART goal to help me get there.”

Examples of work goals that fits this long-term career aspiration are:

I will complete two classes toward my MBA each semester beginning in the fall semester of 2023.

This goal is specific (two classes toward an MBA), measurable (are the classes complete?), attainable (two classes a semester may be a challenge for a full-time worker, but not out of reach), relevant (if you want to be a manager, an MBA may be a requirement), and time-bound (classes begin in the fall semester for 2023).

Here are other long-term career goals examples:

    Example

Long term-goal: I want to make a lateral move from the sales department to the marketing department.

SMART goal: I will write and distribute a weekly update blog to coordinate the message between sales and marketing with interviews and Q&As.

Long-term goal: I will grow my portfolio of clients to $20 million.

SMART goal: I will attend one networking event a week and gain at least one new client a month.

Long-term goal: I want to become a recognized expert in my field.

SMART goal: I will publish four articles a year in reputable industry journals.

    Copied!

    Short-term career goal examples

We’ve looked at the long range, but there are intermediate steps to take to get there. Short-term goals are actions such as earning a certificate, improving listening skills, learning a new application, or expanding your career network. They all lead to an increase in your value as an employee and your desirability as a candidate for a new position.

Here are some great short-term career goals examples:

    Example

Short-term goal: I want to learn data analytics to expand my marketing knowledge.

SMART goal: I will earn a Google Data Analytics Certificate through Coursera within nine months.

Short-term goal: I want to become more comfortable speaking in groups.

SMART goal: I will volunteer to make at least one presentation to my group and at the corporate meeting within the next six months.

Short-term goal: I want to step-up my organizational skills.

SMART goal: I will spend the next few weeks investigating organizational apps, choose one and implement it by the end of the month.

    Copied!

    Expert tip

    Avoid negative language

Notice that the last short-term goal focuses on a shortcoming. Instead of saying, “I need to be more organized” or “I want to stop being late for meetings” the goal uses positive language to acknowledge an area ripe for improvement.

    Tips to achieve your goals

Now that you’ve set your job goals and announced them to your boss, how can you stay on track to reaching them?

    1. Choose goals you’re passionate about. Choose goals that you want to work on, not goals you think will help you get ahead at work. Sure, SEO is an important skill, but if you aren’t interested in analytics, you’re going to have a hard time sticking with it.
    2. Keep your work goals close. Put a reminder on your calendar that pops up weekly, or daily if you think that will help. Or do it the old-fashioned way with a sticky note on your workspace.
    3. Find an accountability partner. Everyone at work has performance goals of some kind. Ask a colleague to hold you accountable and do the same for them. You may find inspiration (or competition) spurs you on. Plus, it’s a little tougher to slack off when you have to face a coworker to tell them you didn’t follow through.
    4. Assess your progress regularly. Are you keeping up with the certification class you promised you’d finish within six months? Did you write those communication messages to foster collaboration? Don’t beat yourself up if you fall behind. Recommit to your goals and get moving!
    5. Pat yourself on the back. Give yourself a moment to celebrate when you take steps toward achieving your goals.

    Stay flexible

“Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans,” John Lennon wrote in his song “Beautiful Boy.”

That doesn’t mean you should stop planning or looking forward five or ten years into your career, but be flexible.

You’ll be setting work goals for most of your career. If you start working out of college, at age 22, your goals, both long- and short-term are likely to change over time. If you achieve your goals, you may choose to reach farther. If your priorities change, the market for chosen career shifts, or you simply decide you want to move in a different direction, your career goals will change as well.

When that shift happens, be honest with yourself and your boss. Stubbornly sticking to goals that don’t speak to you or fit into your life plan is likely to lead to work dissatisfaction and that definitely won’t help you get where you want to be.

The bottom line here: The longer-term the goal, the more likely you will want to (or have to) rethink it.

    Career goals: the wrapup

Envision your career in the future. What sparks your passion? What do you want in your professional and personal life? Maybe you’ve known since you were in preschool that you wanted to be an actor. Maybe you discovered you’re great at money management while you were in business school. Maybe you’re still figuring it out.

In any of those cases, there are concrete steps you can take to get into the movies, increase your clients’ financial growth, or research an internship opportunity that may turn into the career for you.

Start big and work your way toward the specifics. Ask yourself not only what your goals are, but what skills you will need and how you can acquire them. Be brutally honest with yourself about your shortcomings (but keep it positive when you relate your goal to the hiring manager or your boss). Instead of beating yourself up, find ways to bolster them and even turn them into assets.

Write SMART goals and check to make sure you have hit all five points. Your HR department may require a certain number of goals so try to balance short-term and long-term goals. Be realistic about time constraints and the feasibility of achieving your goals within the timeframe you set out, especially if you have multiple goals. Failing to achieve your goals may have negative consequences at work.

Choose goals that align with your passions and vision. Above all, be true to yourself and honest about what you want and how you want to get there. Good luck reaching the C-suite (or the red carpet or wherever your heart desires)!

    Key takeaway

    • Career goal statements can help you focus on your bigger picture plans and the steps needed to get there.

    • The SMART method can help you create achievable goals that are neither too easy or overly ambitious.

A professional goals statement is a clear and specific proclamation of the end result you expect to achieve by accomplishing all of your professional objectives. Similar to a SMART goal, it clearly states why you do your job, what you intend to achieve, how you’re going to achieve it, and when it will be completed. This concise statement defines your professional vision, which will help you plan your next career move and communicate your intentions to potential employers.

No matter what industry you’re in, writing a professional goals statement will help you develop a specific action plan that will guide you toward your professional vision. Your finished statement will give you clarity as you’re working toward your goals and it will keep you motivated and accountable.

Without a professional goals statement, your job is likely going to end up being a passionless pursuit of a bi-weekly paycheck. You need a target to focus on to maintain the motivation to improve and grow in your career. Your goals statement will turn each day at work from “just another day” to one day closer to achieving your professional dream.

But before looking at some examples, let’s review how to write a career goals statement so you can tailor the examples to your unique professional goals.

Keep these tips in mind when writing your statement.

    Why?

The first question you want to answer is “why?” Without having a purpose behind what you’re doing, your work will be meaningless in the long run and you won’t have the motivation to give it your best effort. Why is your career interesting to you? What type of lasting change (if any) are you hoping to make? How do your natural strengths line up with the job requirements?

Thinking about these things will help you create a goal that you want rather than one that you think you should have. And you have to want to achieve your goal in order to feel inspired to get to work.

    Commit to It

Be confident in your statement–and not just the end result you’re working toward, be confident in the process that will get you there as well. In order to commit to your goals statement, you need to be aware of all the steps you have to take to be successful.

This may require doing some research on the specific professions in your field of work so you can make sure the obstacles you could face won’t overpower your will to succeed.

    Research and Plan

Speaking of research, make sure you have the skills, education, knowledge, abilities, and experiences that are required to be successful. Think about all of the steps you will have to take along the way and include them in your statement. Your career goal should have clear instructions that lead you from the present moment to the finish line.

    Don’t Invite Change

While things may come up in your life that force you to alter your course, plan on going full speed ahead until you reach your goal. Don’t leave any components of your career goals statement up for interpretation–anyone should be able to read your statement and understand your plan.

    …But Be Flexible

Your goals may change over time as you grow and your life circumstances change. Your professional goals statement should look way into your future, so unexpected events or factors are almost guaranteed to pop up. You need to be able to work around life’s challenges and not let them steer you off track.

Professional goals – full and abbreviated versions

Let’s consider some examples of professional goals, which consist of separate elements. This also happens quite often. There is nothing particularly terrible in this – “not all at once”, as they say. Learn to appreciate what you already have today. Then tomorrow will follow. The material will be especially useful to those who can not identify all the elements of their professional goals. Reminder: detailed material about the professional goal is here .

You already know that job purpose refers to the content of the job that a person is doing or wants to do. You also know that a professional goal can consist of four elements that reflect the different professional interests of a specialist:

    • problem (or task) on which a person is working,
    • means and methods that he uses in solving the specified task,
    • the result he will achieve by solving this problem,
    • group for which the indicated result is significant (important and necessary).

Occupational goals may, but need not, include all of these elements. It happens that some of them are not yet conscious, and therefore are not reflected in the professional goal. And others may be of secondary importance to a person and therefore ignored in the formulation. However, the main thing will always be reflected in it, and the conscious will be indicated briefly and specifically.

First, let’s look at the full version of the professional goal and see what it can say about its owner. nine0005

Example of a professional goal (full version)

The use of medical methods to normalize heart rate and blood pressure in coronary heart disease.

What can such a professional goal statement tell us? The fact that the specialist is related to cardiology and practices. That in his work he uses medical methods of treatment (that is, clearly not a cardiac surgeon), that the result of his successful work is the normalization of blood pressure and heart rate, and that people suffering from coronary heart disease may be most interested in the results of his work. At the head of the wording are methods and it is medication. This is the core, the center of gravity of his professional interest. In what way can he be “stronger” than his colleagues? Most likely, it will be better than others to navigate all existing and newly developed pharmaceutical preparations, which, in certain combinations and dosages, will help to effectively achieve the stated result in the different course of the specified disease. Does it make sense to insist on other methods of his work, or that they be applied to achieve other results? Yes, if we want to lose in his face a highly qualified specialist in the field indicated by his professional goal. nine0005

Sometimes a professional goal may contain only one of all listed elements. For example, reflect either the planned result, or the means and methods for achieving it. In this case, she does not cease to be herself, but her informational content is sharply reduced. And if the owner does not work hard on concretizing even one single element, it can become completely “controversial”. Judge for yourself.

Examples of professional goals (abbreviated versions)

    problem (task):

    …development of hard-to-reach deposits…
    …legal support of controversial transactions…
    …reduction of enterprise risks…

    means and methods:

    … psycho-correction…
… development and implementation of marketing research…
    … tutoring in subjects:…

    result:

    …expansion of the client base…
    …increase in sales volumes…
…sustainable work of the entrusted department…

    target group:

    …working with preschoolers…
    …providing assistance to senior citizens…
    …engaging with key customers…

When you write a professional goal, remember that ideally it should tell about the result that you are trying to achieve in your work. However, it is desirable to specify this result as clearly as possible. Express it not only in words, but in terms, numbers, specific criteria. Otherwise, when the time comes, it will be difficult to understand for yourself or show others that the stated goal has been successfully achieved or its achievement is successfully approaching. nine0005

For example, regarding the examples given. Asking questions. By how much, how many times, by what date or over what period is it planned to expand the client base? Is the very fact of expanding the customer base really enough as a final result? If not, then this is not a result, but one of the intermediate goals, the result of solving an intermediate task while moving towards the main result. We’ll have to find the answer, for the sake of which the client base is expanding. The answer will point to the true result, the main goal. Let’s take another example. What criteria can indicate that the work of the entrusted unit is really stable? The criteria, again, must be clear, unambiguous, equally understood by different people. We check the truth of the declared result: does the stability in the work of the entrusted department help to achieve some other professional results in your work? If yes, which ones? If not, is the stability of this unit the most important result of your work, which is expected by the representatives of the target group (the main customers and consumers of your professional services)? Be more serious about the planned result and the formulation of the goal will qualitatively change. nine0005

Unfortunately, when setting a professional goal, special attention is paid to problems and tasks at work. But when a specialist does not have a clear idea of what problem he is going to work on, he vaguely understands what tasks he should deal with in the first place. As a result, the goal may turn out to be unfounded, the means and methods used may be ineffective, and the results of labor may be of no particular use to anyone.
Are you doing this? We hope not. nine0005

Now on the site you can:
    read more about the target group ;
    work on clarifying professional problems and tasks ;
exit through clarified problems and tasks to the desired result .

You can choose other topic articles on the site. The main thing is to understand the basic principles and practice goal setting. Let for starters it will be some very simple goals. Perhaps the ones you achieve daily without even thinking about it. Try, experiment – what do you lose in the end? Nothing. And in the end, you can buy a lot. nine0005

50 Examples of Goals in a Resume

Unfortunately, professional goals are a concept that many people have a distorted or superficial understanding of. But it should be borne in mind that in fact, such a component of the work of any specialist is a truly unique thing.

Professional goals can lead to the results necessary for the enterprise and the country’s economy, over the ways of achieving which the teams of entire institutes are puzzled. Much can be said about this concept. However, the most basic thing that every specialist in his field should know is what professional goals differ from others. How can you define your professional interests? What should be done to clearly formulate the professional dimension? nine0098 Main differences

In the process of work, a specialist may have certain goals. However, not all of them are professional. What is their difference? The main professional goals must certainly reflect the content of a person’s work. For example, a specialist may say that he is going to find practical application for the latest developments in a particular area. Or he is trying to create a perpetual motion machine. Or maybe the employee controls the build quality of an exclusive model, which is a product of the domestic automotive industry? In any case, it immediately becomes clear to everyone what this person does and in what area of the economy he works. nine0005

But the goals may be quite different. For example, receiving a Nobel Prize or holding a leadership position in a representative office of your organization in another country. In addition, such goals may include the indispensable desire to improve one’s professional competence or being included in the list of the richest people on our planet. Of course, others understand your intentions, but the content of the work of a specialist remains a mystery to them. Therefore, these goals are not at all professional, but personal. nine0005

However, there are also combined options. This may be, for example, the desire of a specialist to take the position of a production director in order to increase sales, receive large incomes, win a prestigious state award for the enterprise, etc. In this case, the interlocutors are quite capable of getting an idea about the specific work of a person and his personal intentions.

    Wrong job search goals

Consider a simple example. Let’s say you think like this: “My goal in finding a job is to make money,” or “I just need a job, like anyone else.” Well, then why don’t you go to work, for example, as a janitor? After all, there are free vacancies, and you will earn money … Here you correct yourself: “I want to earn money that would be enough for me to live on.” Here’s an option for you – work abroad, for example, to collect some agricultural crops in the fields. And you say again, “No, I want to make good money here, in my city. ” nine0005

This dialogue can be continued indefinitely, and all because you did not clearly and specifically formulate your goal of looking for a job. Now let’s learn how to do it right.

So, let’s look at the most common job search goals and the key actions that a job seeker needs to carry out depending on the goals set.

    Mistakes when writing resumes

Sometimes people who are applicants for a vacant position in the column “Professional goals” indicate that they strive to:

    – engage in promising and interesting work; – to be useful to other people; – rise to the level of the best specialist in your field; – to achieve career growth; – to receive a decent income.

But it is still not clear what the official duties of these people are. In what area can you turn to them for professional help? To answer these questions, you need to have supernatural powers. Only they will make it possible to understand what the work of such a specialist should be. nine0005

    General goals

But there are situations when the applicant applies for several vacancies at the same time. In this case, it is better not to look for a sample of resume objectives without a specific position, but to write a resume for each of the vacancies that interest you separately. General goals can be formulated as follows:

    • work in a large trading company;
    • realize their increased efficiency, organizational skills and enthusiasm in a distribution company;
    • get an interesting job in a large manufacturing company;
    • applying for a position in a stable company, getting the opportunity to showcase your skills.

But, it is better to avoid such formulations. The recruiter should not decide for you what kind of job you want to get.

    Examples of setting professional goals

What should a job seeker write in his resume? These can be professional goals, examples of which are given below, namely:

    – construction of buildings and structures of any complexity from the zero cycle and “turnkey”; — provision of customer organizations with stationery and souvenirs; — writing editorial texts and articles on given topics; — improving the efficiency of gas production at various stages of field development, etc.

And, for example, the main professional goals of a teacher are to educate a person who is able to further build his life in such a way as to become a worthy person and citizen and be useful to society. nine0005

This description of the vision of their duties will certainly please the employer. From the general list of applicants, he will single out a person who clearly sets his professional goals.

What to write in the goal if the resume is submitted for several vacancies

Ideally, each vacancy should have a unique goal, which depends on the requirements of the employer. This is the most correct approach possible. Nevertheless, you can go on a simpler path – just indicate the desired position in the goal. The main thing to remember is that in this case, all the vacancies to which you respond must be related to a particular specialty. There should not be mentions of different professions in one resume. nine0039 The main principle of a good resume: the more unique each of the resumes you send, the more likely you are to get a job.

In no case should you indicate several different directions in one resume, like “Marketer / designer / journalist” – this will only scare the employer away and make him doubt his competence. It is allowed to write several desired positions of a similar nature “Writer / Journalist”. If you are applying for positions of different profiles, then make several different resumes. nine0005

As mentioned earlier, try to avoid such situations – it is always better to apply for a smaller number of vacancies, but refine your resume for each of them, than to apply for many vacancies at once and not get any result. The ideal target is a reflection of the requirements of the employer. Never try to save time and send a standard resume for many vacancies at once – recruiters will simply delete it and not begin to get a grasp of it immediately after they see a (in this case) useless for them column with a goal in the resume. nine0005

    Classification

What are professional goals? They are classified into true and false, complete and abbreviated. Let’s consider them in more detail.

The true goals of a specialist reflect his professional interests. They certainly focus on the interests of other people. Achieving such goals helps colleagues, clients, as well as specialists from other fields of activity to solve their problems and problems. That is why it is believed that they have not only individual but also social significance, leading to professional development and social recognition. nine0005

False goals are claimed but never achieved. At the same time, it becomes clear very soon what results a person is striving for, which leads to the loss of colleagues, partners and customers.

The difference between full and reduced targets lies in their description. So, in volume options, both the planned result and the means, as well as methods for achieving it, are indicated. That is, there is a lot of information content.

Why is brief information needed in a resume? nine0099

Roughly speaking, it will help you notice you faster. Many HR managers are forced to read dozens of resumes every day. In fact, they only give each resume six seconds of their time. A professional section with brief information is what will grab their attention from the very beginning. And if it’s well written, it will get them to read the rest of the resume.

Brief information is usually placed at the top of the resume, just below the name and contacts. This might include an overview of short-term goals, professional accomplishments, and sometimes an explanation of why you need the job. nine0005

    Elements of a professional goal

What is included in this concept? A professional goal is understood as a set of intentions and interests of specialists, which find their expression:

    — in the tasks and problems that the employee is working on; – in the methods and means used by him; – in the results obtained; – in the group of people for whom the solution of the problem is necessary and important.

These four elements are the components of the professional achievement of goals. nine0005

When filling in the appropriate box in your resume, you should tell about the results that you want to achieve in your activities. However, it is better if this result is clearly specified. And for this you will need not only its verbal description, but also an indication of specific dates and numbers. If this is not done, then over time, even the person himself will not be able to understand whether the professional goal declared by him has been achieved or not.

    The most important component

As practice shows, very rarely when setting professional goals, attention is paid to problems that may arise during work, as well as setting those tasks, the solution of which will allow you to get the desired result. This means that the specialist has a vague idea of what he has to work on. As a result, the professional goal is unfounded. At the same time, the methods and means used to achieve it are ineffective. The results of such work are unlikely to arouse anyone’s interest. nine0005

How to state the goal in a resume

The purpose of a resume is to give HR an initial idea about the candidate, how he meets the requirements of the company and the vacancy.

To begin with, clearly define what experience and skills will help you succeed in a new place, and only then proceed to formulate a goal. Do not mix everything together, write your own text for each vacancy.

    1. Formulate the goal so that it fits in 3-4 simple sentences.
    2. Start with the position you held at your previous job, eg building materials sales manager, decorator.
    3. Indicate 1-2 hard (professional) and 1-2 flexible (character traits) skills.
    4. Support achievements with facts and figures.
    5. Specify short-term and long-term goals.

To correctly write the purpose of obtaining a position in your resume, use the proven formula: “Who am I, where do I come from, where do I plan to move.

    Professional tasks

In order for the activity of a specialist to lead to the desired result, it is important not only to identify the existing problems. It is also necessary to set those tasks, the solution of which will allow to properly influence the initial situation.

To formulate them, you will need to answer the following questions:

    — who needs help and for whom the result of a specialist’s work is important, that is, a specification of the target group; – what is the current situation, that is, clarification of the relevance of the problem; – what professional resource will be required; – clarification of the boundaries of professional competence of a specialist; – what will be the potential result, and to what extent it will be able to change the current situation; What should a concrete action plan consist of? nine0005

Each of the above points allows not only to clarify professional problems, but also to specify the tasks to be worked on.

The problem of lack of professional resources

In order to understand how deep the level of knowledge a specialist has to solve various problems, one needs to foresee what may be required of him tomorrow. In doing so, consideration will need to be given to expanding existing knowledge. The main goals of professional development will be to quickly gain the missing skills. nine0005

The lack of knowledge of the specialist is a separate problem. Moreover, the need to solve it is important for an active and productive professional activity. The specialist must always keep his finger on the pulse in order to be able to effectively change the problem situation.

Obtaining a qualification by a specialist is a complex and lengthy process. The aims of vocational education are initially to give a person the necessary job skills. The specialty he has acquired will not only be a prerequisite for employment and material income. The goals of vocational education also lie in the creative comprehensive realization of the individual. Such training should help everyone choose for themselves one or another specialty in accordance with their inclinations and capabilities. In addition, it should bring up a true professional. In the future, his activities will benefit society. nine0005

    Common Mistakes

There are a few common mistakes job seekers can make:

    1) Using the same objective for every job application

    Wrong :

90592 Get a job in the field 939 …9059 that challenges and allows me to use my education, skills and background in a way that is mutually beneficial for both me and my employer, as well as for future growth and development. nine0360

Your goal is to be the perfect candidate, which means that you are exactly what the hiring manager is looking for… and if you don’t send your resume to the only cookie factory in town, then we guarantee you 100% that one resume does not fit all.

    Next!

    2) Everything about me

This is a trap that many job seekers fall into because they can’t resist making a list of all the things they want from this position. nine0005

    Incorrect:

Hi I’m Ivan looking for a job and I really want to work for a company where I can make a lot of money doing as little as possible. Oh, and an office with a sea view. A company car is fine too. Before you leave, let’s talk about benefits, retirement… and the company’s vacation policy.

Yes, we don’t agree with that, but we need you to look at it and laugh…because even the mild form of what we’ve said looks just as ridiculous to the hiring manager as this overblown example. nine0005

    Next!

    3) Too vague

Mistake number three – ambiguity. As we said, one resume format doesn’t fit all, so ambiguity in the hope of being kind of in line with what employers are looking for will result in your resume being sent directly to a circular file. (In case you don’t know, it’s a trash can. Sounds funny, but the end result is the same…no job.)

    Wrong:

I am looking for a full-time, long-term job where I can apply my extensive skills and knowledge to the position I have been hired for.

After reading this statement, we know that the applicant has the skills and knowledge … and that’s it. What specific skills does he (or she?) have? Do they really fit the job? And what knowledge can the candidate apply in ways that will benefit the company? See what we mean?

    Next.

    4) Further… And further… And further… And further… and zzzzzzzzzzzz…. nine0307

Error number four is too long. A resume is not a novel. It’s a little self-promotion to get attention so you get invited for an interview…then you can give more details!

We won’t give an example here. Why? Because it will be so long that everyone who reads it will get bored and move on to another article.

    5) Adding absolutely no value

Mistake number five is probably the worst… and the easiest to fall into (with the exception of error number two, the “everything about me” statement). Mistake number five is filling out a resume section that fills up the main space but says nothing about the value you bring to the company. This error often occurs with the overly vague statement #3. nine0005

    Incorrect:

Get a position in my chosen field where I can use my skills as a hard-working, well-educated employee in exchange for a stable market salary.

The initial stage of education in the specialty

The goals of vocational training are consistently achieved at all its stages. So, the first skills of labor education, as well as goal setting, take place even within the walls of the school.

Schools are the initial stage of the vocational education system. Future specialists enter these educational institutions after graduation. The purpose of vocational training in schools lies in the preparation of skilled workers. Recently, this stage of education is possible in educational institutions of a new type. They are called professional lyceums. The main goal of their activities is to train workers with the highest qualifications. nine0005

Recently, certain changes have taken place in this system of education. An important goal of vocational education, which is gradually coming to the fore, is the development by students of such specialties as a designer, ecologist and small business organizer, which are increasingly in demand by society.

    Secondary vocational education

This is the next stage in the training of specialists. For its implementation, the system that provides secondary specialized education is working. At this, more qualitative stage of education, students are given the opportunity to consistently improve their general educational and professional level. All this allows graduates of such institutions to be competitive in the labor market.
