  • Welcome to the Woodbridge Station KinderCare Learning
Center!  Our center has been in the
    Edgewood community since 1989.
We have built many strong relationships over the years watching
many of our children grow up and have children of their own come to
our center!  Many of our teachers have been here for many
years too.  We are a NAEYC accredited center and provide a
safe, nurturing, and learning environment for our
children.    With designated learning centers such as
dramatic play, sensory and blocks, children have the opportunity
for rich social play and child-initiated discovery.  You’ll
also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full
of carefully selected materials to help your child connect spoken
words and print to help develop early literacy and writing
skills.  We pride ourselves in being a family oriented center
and would love for you to be a part of our KinderCare family
    too.
  • We have a staff member as our Health and Safety Coordinator; key
code secured doors; six-foot-high fences around the play area with
a secure lock; government-issued ID is verified during pick up and
drop off; and name-to-face checks every 30 minutes.
  • Hours Of Operation: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, M-F
  • State of Maryland, Social Services, NJ Subsidy:Program for Parents,
    and NACCRRA

Philosophy of Daycare

Our Play Based Curriculum
  • The Learn and Play system gets children excited about learning through activities that reward curiosity and games that promote cooperation and focus. Children learn best when children are having fun playing.
  • The Learn and Play curriculum aims to meet the varying touchstones of each developmental stage, while simultaneously maintaining flexibility regarding each individual child’s needs.
  • Children participate in art, science, music, dramatic play, social studies, reading, writing, math, computers and multicultural activities.
  • Familiarizing children with technological tools is essential to the world we live in today and it is mainstay of our program. Through lessons, projects, and guided exploration of the computer and its educational possibilities, Learn and Play children (ages 2 and up) are introduced to basic computer applications and state of art learning games that expand a child’s creative and intellectual domain.
Our Teachers
  • Learn and Play teachers are dedicated trained professionals who believe that by creating a warm, fun, and nurturing environment, a child’s innate curiosity and creativity can inspire and propel his/her education.
  • Our experienced teachers work cooperatively to organize and implement fun activities that will enhance a child’s language skills, social skills, self-help skills, cognitive skills, fine/gross motor skills and most importantly, that will help develop great self esteem.
  • Teachers are First Aid and CPR Certified and meet state education and experience qualification requirements.

There are many ways to encourage a child, but for students of any age, honest, authentic, and persistent messages from adults that have credibility in their eyes are among the most powerful.

The National Center on Quality Teaching and Learning has put together the following list, 50 Ways To Encourage A Child. It was designed for younger students (head start/kindergarten), but with the exception of 4, 17, 21, and maybe 40, they’re actually useful for K-12 in general. It all depends on your tone, the situation, and who else is listening.

In addition, they’ve got a couple of other useful documents under their tips for fostering teacher connections series you can check out as well.

Children who are encouraged and given positive reinforcement for their accomplishments will grow up into encouraging, motivated compassionate adults.

According to some experts, a child’s brain isn’t fully developed until he/she is 25, so the more positive influences they encounter including family members, friends, teachers, mentors, colleagues, and supervisors, the stronger and more emotionally balanced they will become.

    Motivational quotes for students

    Add to favorites star_border

What is good about motivational quotes is that they are universal. Wise words of smart people can be applied with confidence in any situation, to anything. Our successes and failures, while seemingly different, are essentially the same.

The authors of these amazing motivational quotes really lived life with all its complexities and were attentive enough to tell what they learned. But who are these quotes for? For us: eternal students, students. After all, there is still much to learn, and quotes are our little windows through which you can see the reverse side of our failures. nine0003

So here is a set of motivational quotes:

    1. “What you are looking for is also looking for you”

    (Jalaladdin Rumi)

Rumi is an outstanding poet of antiquity and his words have inspired generations throughout history; among his sea of wisdom, this quote is one of the most powerful. The interpretation is: keep fighting, keep failing, keep living, if you are honest and determined inside, the universe knows what you are striving for and it is already on its way to you. So be full of hope and never give up. nine0003

    2. “There are two ways to live life: either as if there are no miracles, or as if all life is a miracle”

    (Albert Einstein)

Gone are the days when giants moved mountains or water poured out of stone, and with this awareness we must learn to see realistic miracles – miracles that happen every day. Miracle may seem like a strong word, but what Einstein meant was that belief in the impossible, belief in what you think about, can be translated into reality. There are many more wonders to be discovered in this tiny world of ours; Newton, Einstein, Rumi, have discovered great things and have witnessed great miracles that they themselves have performed, but since there is much more to be discovered, we need to believe in ourselves, then we too can bring miracles to life. nine0003

    3. “The most common way people give up their power is to think they don’t have it”

    (Alice Walker)

Comparing oneself with others is such a bad habit; you will never win or lose, beat or humiliate yourself based on the conclusions you have made by comparing yourself to someone else. This is because each of us is different and has unique qualities. So, in truth, the one you envy has something special, just like YOU! We can’t be everything, but each of us can be someone! So believe that you have this power and try to find it. nine0003

    4. “Be the change you want to see in the world”

    (Mahatma Gandhi)

It is as easy to complain as it is difficult to take responsibility. Many people talk about what is wrong in the world. But you can make those changes that can turn life for the better tomorrow. We may not be responsible for the mess that is going on in our world, but we are solely responsible for our contribution to that mess. nine0003

    5. “It always seems impossible until it’s done”

    (Nelson Mandela)

Mandela changed the fate of all Africans; it may seem impossible now after a long struggle, but it really happened, right? Our minds are not our best friends if we don’t know how they work. So, no matter what we want to achieve, the obstacles on the way will always seem bigger (thanks to our mind). But we have to be smarter and listen to what Mandela said, it’s possible after all – it just doesn’t seem to be the case. So hold on, because after every dark night there is always dawn. nine0003

    6. “Do you believe that you can succeed, and if you believe that you cannot, then in both cases you are right”

    (Henry Ford)

Following this quote, we can see that if you once take control of your mind and tell it that we can do this, then all that remains is to go out and do it. This quote also makes you independent of the situation and the people around you, so only you and your will matter in any situation.

    7. “Action is not only the result of motivation, but also its cause”

    (Mark Manson)

All our life we wait for something to motivate us, and then we start our movement. But try to start with what you have. You can fail or succeed, but that’s not the point, it’s about learning something and believing that you have what it takes to succeed. When you start doing something, opportunities start to appear and life doesn’t feel so tight anymore. nine0003

    8. “One day you will wake up, but there will be no more time to do what you always wanted to do. Do it now.”

    (Paulo Coelho)

We are obsessed with the idea of the right time for everything. So obsessed that our whole life passes us by, and we are still waiting for that right time that never really comes – you know why? After all, the right time you are waiting for does not really exist. nine0003

You may think that this is when I will have money; when I grow up; when I’m educated enough, smart enough, but what about the time you’re wasting waiting for the right time, which may never come. So now is the time. Start with where you are and what you have, and with a positive attitude, you are sure to go a long way. But if you wait, it will never happen.

    9. “Personality begins where comparison ends”

    (Karl Lagerfeld)

Especially in adolescence, we are obsessed with being better than the other person in almost every way – looks, grades, and everything that can be compared. This is because we have not yet developed our personality.

Personality is knowing yourself and then accepting who you are without indulging yourself in unfair comparisons. Let’s be honest, you can never be the person you compare yourself to – but you can always be yourself. Comparison is just another form of insulting yourself, because what works well for the other person may not work for you, but when you compare yourself, you are actually insulting yourself. So start discovering who you are and then embrace who you are and play to your strengths. nine0003

    10. “Always remember that you are absolutely unique – just like everyone else.

    (Margaret Mead)

Each of us is gifted with something, and this is what Margaret is trying to tell us – we are all unique. The second phase of this quote perfectly neutralizes the first, as we not only see ourselves as unique, but we also see uniqueness and power in other people. And only when we focus our efforts on developing the strengths of our personality and helping others, our world will become even better. nine0003

    11. “Success is the ability to move from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm”

    (Winston Churchill)

To someone who takes this quote literally, it may seem silly – from failure to failure, where is the success in this? But this is a wise statement. Whatever you try to do will bring you sweet fruit in the end, but most of us will never achieve it.

It’s really heartbreaking when someone gives up and doesn’t try to win. So keep going and maybe next time you will come out victorious. And every time you feel like giving up, try to remember why you started it. nine0003

    12. “It’s not the load that breaks you, it’s how you carry it”

    ( Lou Holtz )

All our struggle seems to us monumental, the solutions of which cannot be offered. Because we always live with our own problems, they overwhelm us while others seem easier to deal with.

A new perspective, a new idea, or at least an indifference to “it doesn’t matter” is all that is needed. So be smart about your problems and think about what you could offer if your friend had the same problems. nine0003

    13. “Once you choose hope, anything is possible”

    (Christopher Reeve)

If you think about it, hope is what keeps us alive. Without it, we wouldn’t even bother to live. But hope in times of despair is indeed vital. When we hit bottom or fail, our whole life seems to stop and we lose it.

However, starting with hope and continuing to live with it is the ultimate path to success. Our lives move up and down, and we stumble along with it, but hope is the strong string that we hold on to and we can succeed and win. nine0003

    14. “Everything you can imagine is real”

    (Pablo Picasso)

Growing up, our minds glow with endless ideas and dreams. The passion we feel when we dream makes the impossible possible. But the more we get older, the more we focus on our ever-growing problems and exacerbate them.

In the end, there comes a time when we lose the ability to dream big or think about achievements, and with it the faith in their realization. But, as Picasso says, we can bring our imagination to life. Our mind is capable of doing anything if it has a thought or a picture about it. nine0003

    Conclusion

And finally, advice: don’t just read quotes, feel them inside yourself, experiment with them, apply them in your daily life, only then they can be recognized as valuable and worthy.

    Evgeniy Kostin

Toyota, according to Motor, has decided to reduce the number of employees in the Russian office and close the production capacity in St. Petersburg.

    Toyota press service

Toyota Camry and RAV4 were produced at the Shushary plant, but since March 2022 the company has practically stopped receiving components – this is one of the main reasons why the company’s enterprise will be mothballed.

The fate of the plant has not yet been decided, according to preliminary information, the St. Petersburg site will be sold later. One thing is certain: the production of Toyota cars in our country will not resume.

Important: Toyota does not suspend its activities in the sale and maintenance of cars in Russia. At the same time, imports of Toyota and Lexus models are currently suspended, and dealers are selling off stock balances.

The number of the Moscow office will be adjusted: as compensation, according to anonymous sources, laid-off employees will be paid up to 12 salaries.
