Zono for Childcare Centers

Zono-Sanitech

The ZONO is a “green” sanitizing system. This technology is already used in the medical device and food processing industries. Ozone is generated with ultraviolet light using the air in the room in the sealed ZONO cabinet.  Humidity is then added to the sealed ZONO cabinet, and the sanitizing process is completed. The ZONO cabinet is a safe, dependable environment for sanitizing. If you`re curious, stop by and see our ZONO machine! Or find out more about ZONO!

What does the ZONO sanitizing system do?

The ZONO controls microbial contamination by sterilizing bacteria, viruses and fungi.  It is an important part of a comprehensive sanitizing routine. The eco-friendly technology reduces the time, energy, and chemicals required to sanitize.

What is cleaned by ZONO?

We use the Zono to sanitize  just about everything your child uses at our school such as crayons, books, small toys, soft play items, infant walkers, mattresses, mats, bouncy seats, and activity tables.

Onesource Filtered Water

Superior Quality

Onesource Water employs a new technology that uses bottle-less water coolers which provide your children the cleanest, best-tasting pure water available.  In addition to a great, clean taste, this technology provides a signficant positive impact on the environment!

How It Works

This technology takes ordinary tap water and purifies it right on the spot.  Then the water is stored in an airtight stainless-steel tank and not in plastic jugs.

Self-Cleaning and Oxygenated

Water goes through an oxygen injection and is sanitized in the tank, eliminating 100% of microbiological contamination. Nitrates, arsenic, lead, mercury and pharmaceutical by-products and other impurities are removed as well. This process delivers clean, great tasting pure water.

No Dirty Hands Near Your Water

A digital control panel keeps hands away from the water spout significantly reducing contamination and the spread of germs and bateria among staff and children.

The adopted son of Woody Allen and actress Mia Farrow, Moses, on his personal blog, defended the director against accusations of sexual abuse against Dylan, the adopted daughter of the ex-couple.

In 1992, Dylan and Mia Farrow first accused Allen of sexually assaulting a child. He denied his guilt, punishment by the law against him was not followed. Mia Farrow claimed that when visiting a seven-year-old girl in the presence of nannies, Allen disappeared somewhere with her for 15-20 minutes, during which Dylan corrupted.

Moses Farrow says that the story, which resurfaced in the media a few years ago due to Dylan’s new confessions, is a fabrication. “Dylan was alone with Woody at his house countless times and nothing happened. And they are trying to convince you that at the age of 56 he suddenly decided to become a pedophile in a house full of people watching him like hawks?” — quoted by Farrow NME .

Moses also accused his foster mother of physical and psychological abuse, stating that it was impossible to live with her under the same roof if you constantly did not follow her commands, sometimes inexplicable.

Dylan Farrow has already responded to the publication of her brother, criticizing him for trying to distort her memories and put her mother in a bad light.

Mia Farrow and Woody Allen broke up six months before the alleged abuse, having lived together for 13 years and worked together on 13 films. Farrow left Allen after finding nude photos of Sun-Yi, Farrow’s 21-year-old adopted daughter, who later became Woody Allen’s wife.

We Toured Disney’s Secretive Imagineering Offices In Glendale. Here’s What We Saw

Hi, I’m Aaricka!

If you’re enjoying this article, you’ll love my daily morning newsletter, How To LA. Every weekday, you’ll get fresh, community-driven stories that catch you up with our independent local news.

Disney’s Imagineering team is like the black ops of childlike wonder, designing everything you see at their theme parks. They’ve been pulling back the curtain on their usually secretive practices through The Imagineering Story docuseries on Disney+, and this week they gave journalists a tour showing off both their history and what’s next.

The Imagineering offices sit on a nondescript street in Glendale, part of Disney’s Grand Central Creative Campus. That’s where they house all the offices there’s no room for on their Burbank studio lot.

Being the creative space it is, art lines the halls all over the building. Walt Disney himself walked some of those halls.

Here’s what they let us bring back for you, from state-of-the-art modeling of new lands to robot characters that freely roam the parks interacting with visitors, and more.

(And if you want to become an Imagineer yourself, read our previous piece, How To Become An Imagineer, According To The Director Of Disney+’s ‘The Imagineering Story’.)

THE JOHN HENCH GRAFFITI HALLWAY

Before you can appreciate where Imagineering is going, you first have to understand its past, and the group’s offices are full of history.

John Hench holds a hallowed position as one of the first Imagineers, and one of Imagineering’s central hallways pays tribute to him. It was originally a space used to hold meetings, with the Imagineers often doodling on the white walls.

After Hench died in 2004, they decided to clean it up and use it to honor him. The walls feature original Imagineering art paying tribute to both Hench and fellow Imagineering legend Marty Sklar, who passed away in 2017.

Because Hench was considered Imagineering’s color guru, they use his favorite color purple in some of the key art on the walls. He was also the official portrait artist for another legend: Mickey Mouse, depicting Mickey at major milestones, so there’s plenty of our favorite mouse in this hallway too.

THE BLAINE GIBSON SCULPTURE STUDIO

David Fisher, Imagineering managing story editor, details the history of the Blaine Gibson Sculpture Studio. (Roger Taylor for Disney)

Blaine Gibson was an Imagineer who sculpted many of the busts used in creating the animatronics that fill Disney parks. The sculpture studio is named in his honor, and it’s where they store those small models and busts — 80 percent of the items here are believed to have been sculpted by Gibson himself.

That includes iconic figures from the Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, the Hall of Presidents, and the Great Movie Ride (rest in peace). Those busts were all crafted by hand, getting each little detail just right.

The studio also features the original statues of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs from the Snow White Grotto at Disneyland. The story told by Imagineer John Hench throughout his life was that they were a gift by an anonymous Italian sculptor — but after Hench’s death, his personal correspondence revealed that Hench had actually commissioned those statues for Disneyland. The Snow White isn’t proportional to the dwarfs, because Hench’s five in “58 inches” was misread, leading to a 38-inch statue — and Hench likely knew that this coming out would cost him his job. But he used force perspective to make it work.

In the early 2000s, Imagineering shifted from handcrafted modeling to digital scans and 3D printing to create the busts used for animatronics. The specific printer they use is known as a stereolithography machine — Disney Managing Story Editor Dave Fisher joked that the difference between this machine and a 3D printer is about $250,000.

Fisher showed off one of the first heads created using that machine: Captain Jack Sparrow, using a scan of Johnny Depp’s head made during the second Pirates movie to add characters from the modern films into the ride.

The animatronics Disney uses are their signature technology, according to Fisher, along with some of the unique ride systems used on some of their most popular attractions. He showed off models for some of their latest animatronic characters, including Hondo Ohnaka from the Millennium Falcon attraction at Galaxy’s Edge.

THE MODEL SHOP

Imagineering dimensional designer Todd Neubrand scans a rockwork model of Galaxy’s Edge. (Roger Taylor for Disney)

How did Disney figure out how to make people feel like they stepped into Star Wars? One of those ways was by using incredibly detailed models. The models made by Disney’s dimensional designers can run from one one-thousandth scale all the way up to full size.

The models aren’t just showpieces for visitors — they bring models like the ones they made of Galaxy’s Edge out into the field to help show everyone on site exactly what they’re trying to build.

“Yes, the models often look like ‘Oh, they’re cute, those are neat, those are pretty — they’re like little fun toys. No,” dimensional designer Todd Neubrand said. “They have a purpose. When we use them correctly, they’re all going to go to the field.”

The models are created using everything from 3D printers to robotic arms, along with hand sculpting. They create different types of models, used to show everything from the interior of an attraction to the rockwork outside.

Neubrand said that models can be particularly helpful when working internationally — they help communicate things that even great translators can’t get across. While pictures may be worth a thousand words, Neubrand says that models are worth a thousand pictures.

Sometimes there aren’t enough models to go around for everyone, so they also create those models digitally. But sometimes that’s not exactly where it starts. Neubrand used a large scanner rig connected with a computer to show how, by taking photographic scans of the physical model, the computer can digitize them into a 3D model. Go around the real-world model taking more pictures, and the computer can fill in more of the details, creating something that all the teams can work with at once.

THE R&D DEPARTMENT

R&D Imagineer manager Ashley Girdich shows off a “character platform,” an automated bot that can go interact with guests without any human controls. (Roger Taylor for Disney)

Our tour included a stop in a small showroom, displaying three of Imagineering’s most recent technological achievements. One of those items, which has been tested inside the parks, is a new robot character — instead of being bolted to one spot, it can go out and interact with visitors.

“This isn’t going to be Westworld — our figures are not going to attack the guests,” Fisher joked.

They’ve been working on ways to help these automated characters handle any situation they might face with a guest — like people who want to hug or climb on them. They can also switch these robots into different characters.

The robot has even more sensors than a self-driving car, R&D Imagineer manager Ashley Girdich said, because he needs to avoid running over people, or running over a small child’s toes.

Along with characters that roll around, they’re also developing characters that move around on two and four legs — so get ready for the day when Pluto isn’t just someone in a suit.

Another of their recent achievements: the Na’vi Shaman of Songs, as seen at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom in the Na’vi River Journey. It’s one of the more complex animatronics — we saw her with her skin off, revealing just the robotic systems interacting underneath. The face has 42 different functions to help give guests an immersive experience.

“People don’t need to come out of a ride saying ‘Wow, that was a really impressive robot’ — they need to say, ‘How did they do that?'” Imagineering mechanical engineer Robert Lyle said.

The shaman is one of the most expressive animatronics they’ve created, according to Imagineer Amanda Ross. Imagineers noted that she’s been running well — and that she also gets her own maintenance bay to keep her running.

The last piece of technology the Imagineers wanted to show off was a Tron lightcycle, used first at Shanghai Disneyland and now coming to Disney World (sorry, SoCal Disney fans). It’s their fastest coaster, going up to 60 miles per hour — California Adventure’s Incredicoaster tops out at 55.

THE MARTY SKLAR SCREENING ROOM

Inside an imagineering screening room, with Imagineering Story director Leslie Iwerks interviewing the imagineers themselves. (Roger Taylor for Disney)

We entered a screening room named for one of the all-time Imagineering greats to watch the final episode of The Imagineering Story, along with hearing from the Imagineers themselves. No major spoilers, but that final part covers the creation of Shanghai Disney, along with new properties joining the Disney parks like Avatar, Star Wars, and Marvel.

Imagineering President Bob Weis shared his excitement that the group is finally going more public after spending years doing work that they sometimes felt they couldn’t even share with their families. And this tour was a little bit of that, too.

MICKEY’S OF GLENDALE

What would a tour be without a stop at the gift shop? Largely servicing Disney employees, along with their friends and family, the store rarely opens up to the public.

Inside, you’ll find some of the kind of Disney merchandise you’d expect — they’re currently in holiday mode, so there’s plenty of Christmas and Hanukkah decorations — but you also get exclusive merchandise that’s hard to find elsewhere. That includes Imagineering mugs and notebooks, as well as sneak peek merch from upcoming attractions like the forthcoming Marvel lands.

There were plenty more areas of Imagineering that we didn’t see, from curtained-off portions to the offices where they’re working on the real secret stuff. But the veil’s starting to be lifted… just a bit. The final episode of The Imagineering Story premieres on Disney+ this Friday.

Glendale Tour, Los Angeles, California, USA – HiSoUR Cultural History

Glendale is a city in the Verdugo Mountains region of Los Angeles County, California. Glendale is the fourth largest city in Los Angeles County, surrounded by the leading commercial areas of Southern California. Glendale is known for its central location, reputation for safety, excellent business environment, outstanding schools, state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, and a growing number of dining and entertainment venues.

About 10 miles (16 km) north of downtown Los Angeles, Glendale has a clear traffic advantage and is located in the middle of four major highways. Glendale is just minutes from downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena, Burbank, Hollywood and Universal City. As one of its main features, Glendale provides well-kept streets and various transportation services.

Laid out in 1887, the site was part of Rancho San Rafael, a Spanish land grant created in 1784. Connecting Glendale to Los Angeles at 1904, the Pacific Electric Railroad spurred housing stock growth. The city’s economy is now dominated by the retail, services and finance sectors, with a small manufacturing component. The film industry is also important economically.

Glendale and its downtown area with scenic views of the surrounding mountains and growing business district are well worth a look. This Los Angeles County city has its own Walk of Fame. Glendale is perhaps best known for its Brand Boulevard, a famous stretch of road lined with many shops. There is The Americana at Brand, a large open-air shopping complex brought to the city by the same developer as the famous The Grove in Los Angeles.

Casa Adobe de San Rafael, built for the first Los Angeles County Sheriff, is now a museum. The Brand Library, built as a private home called El Miradero by Leslie K. Brand, is another of the city’s many historic buildings. In 1927, a community college was established in the city. Brand Boulevard is a bustling mini-mecca of cafés, shops, and cultural venues, including the Neon Art Museum, a visually stimulating collection of some of Los Angeles’ most famous neon signs, including the Brown Derby restaurant, a staple of the old Hollywood.

Along the street is a branch of one of Los Angeles’ favorite bakeries, Porto’s Bakery & Cafe, serving delicious Cuban sandwiches and endless mouth-watering pastries (must-try menus include cheese rolls and potato balls). As home to one of the nation’s largest Armenian-Americans, Glendale has no shortage of delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, from fine dining to popular bakeries.

Other attractions in Glendale include Forest Lawn Memorial Park, a cemetery known for its intricate sculpture (including reproductions of famous shrines and artwork). Nicknamed the “Walk of Fame” of Glendale. Forest Lawn is the final resting place for more Hollywood stars than any other graveyard, including Walt Disney, Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable and Sammy Davis Jr. Every year, more than a million tourists stroll through the lush, 300-acre hills. .

Deukmejian Wildlife Park is located in the northern part of the city and offers over 700 acres of wildflowers and trails, including a fairly easy round trip along the Dunsmore Canyon Trail for stunning views of the valley below.

The City of Glendale provides easy access for residents, workers and customers from across the region. Glendale also offers Beeline’s own bus routes with 13 routes connecting customers to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the city of Burbank, and Metrolink stations in Burbank and Glendale.

Bob Hope Airport in Burbank serves the Los Angeles area, including Glendale, Pasadena, and the San Fernando Valley. It is the only airport in the Greater Los Angeles area with a direct rail connection to downtown Los Angeles. The city of Glendale is approximately 30 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). LAX is a leader in commerce and is recognized as a world class airport due to its convenient location, modern amenities and excellent sea/air/land connections.

Glendale is also one of Southern California’s leading office markets, offering a wide range of properties and amenities. The city has over six million square feet of office space, home to established firms such as Walt Disney Imagineering, ServiceTitan, IHOP/Applebee’s, DreamWorks, LegalZoom, and Public Storage.

Glendale prides itself on the quality of service it provides to the community. It is a full-service city that includes a water and electricity department. The city operates its own power plant capable of supplying the entire city’s electricity needs, although most power is currently imported from other areas to save money. The water comes mainly from the municipal water district, but also a small part from local wells.

Economy
Several large companies have offices in Glendale, including the US headquarters of the International House of Pancakes. The California State Insurance Compensation Fund’s Los Angeles regional office is located in Glendale. Americas United Bank was founded in Glendale in 2006 and is still headquartered there. In August 2013, Avery Dennison Corp., a label maker for major brands, announced plans to move its headquarters from Pasadena to Glendale. Avery employs approximately 26,000 people. Swiss food multinational Nestlé plans to relocate its U. S. headquarters by 2018.

Glendale, along with Burbank, served as a major production center for the U.S. entertainment and American animation industries for several decades because the Walt Disney Company outgrew its Burbank studio in the early 1960s and began expanding to the nearby business park, which ended up in the Glendale Grand Central Business Center about two miles to the east. First there was the headquarters of Imagineering, and in the 1980s, other divisions and offices.

Disney’s Grand Central Creative Campus (GC3 for short) is home to Consumer Products, Disney Interactive, Muppets Studio and Marvel Animation Studios. From 1985 to 1995, Walt Disney Animation Studios (then known as Walt Disney Feature Animation) was located in the Grand Central Business Center, meaning that most of the Disney Renaissance films were made in Glendale.

In 1994, Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen founded DreamWorks SKG, a diversified entertainment company. DreamWorks Animation is still located in the city’s Grand Central business center on land formerly occupied by a helicopter base, next to the old airfield (and next to KABC-TV). Thus, many American animators who worked on feature films in the 1990s and 2000s spent most of their career in Glendale working for Disney or DreamWorks.

Construction began in 2005 next to developer Ric Caruso’s Galleria “Americana at Brand”, a 63,000 m2 open-air retail and residential complex. Caruso had previously designed and built the Grove at the Farmers’ Market. The new Glendale complex was opened to the public on May 2, 2008 and features 75 shops and restaurants, 238 apartments, 100 condominiums, and an 18-room Pacific Theaters theater with a capacity of 3,000 people.

City Center
The Glendale Economic Development Program is designed to promote an “18 Hour City” that is business friendly while also providing a vibrant environment for people to live, work and play. An 18-hour city brings financial success to city businesses that provide jobs for its residents and, in turn, fund city services for their residents. The economic development is focusing on interesting operators that attract Glendale workers and extend the working day in Glendale from breakfast until late at night.

Grand Central Airport was a public airport established in 1923 that became Glendale’s largest employer for many years and greatly contributed to the development of aviation in the United States. The main terminal building is still standing and includes Art Deco and Spanish style architectural elements. This facility was the first official terminal in the Los Angeles area, as well as the starting point for Charles Lindbergh’s first commercial transcontinental flight from west to east. During World War II, the Central Air Terminal building was camouflaged to protect it from enemy targets. It was closed at 1959 and gave way to the industrial park Grand Central Business Center.

Forest Lawn Memorial Park began in Tropico (later annexed to Glendale) in 1906 and is known for its art collection and burials of many celebrities, as well as the opening in 1933 of the first funeral home on a cemetery site anywhere in the United States. The Bob’s Big Boy hamburger chain opened in Glendale in Eastern Colorado in August 1936, and the Baskin-Robbins “31 Flavors” ice cream parlor chain opened in Adams Square at 1936.45 year. The Glendale Public Library on Harvard Street is home to the Special Collections Restaurant, which houses original documents and records for much of Glendale’s history. It also contains one of the largest collections of cat books in the world, with over 20,000 volumes. It was donated to the library in the 1950s by the Jewel City Cat Fanciers Club.

The city experienced significant development in the 1970s with the completion of the Glendale Highway (Highway 2) and the Ventura Highway (Highway 134). This included the renovation of Brand Boulevard, the renovation of Alex Theater 1925 and the construction of the Glendale Galleria shopping center which opened in 1976 and was expanded in 1982.

Brand Library & Art Center
Brand Library & Art Center sponsors many free and open to the public events including art exhibitions, concerts, art and music lectures, dance events and films.

Museum of Neon Art (MONA),
Museum dedicated exclusively to art in electrical media. The collection includes fine art of electrical and kinetic art, as well as outstanding examples of historic neon signage. The museum also hosts neon cruises (neon-themed tours of the Los Angeles area) and neon classes.

Craft Beer Brewery Attraction
Craft breweries are expanding like never before in Southern California. Glendale officially welcomes craft beer in the Glendale area. With one brewery already in Glendale’s industrial estate and thriving, there is room for growth and clustering in the San Fernando corridor.

shopping
Downtown Glendale Galleria is home to Macy’s, Target, JC Penney, and Bloomingdales, as well as an Americana at Brand outdoor mall that includes stores such as Tiffany & Co., H&M, Armani Exchange, True Religion, and Urban Outfitters. The Americana at Brand is home to the Nordstrom, which was formerly located inside the Glendale Gallery. Another shopping district is the Glendale Fashion Center, anchored by Ross, T. J. Max, Nordstrom Rack, Staples and Petco.

Parks and recreation
There are about 50 public parks in the city, from Deukmejian Park in the north to Cerritos Park in the south. Central Park is home to the West Coast’s only monument to Korean comfort women during World War II.

Forest Lawn Memorial Park
Forest Lawn Glendale is both a cemetery and a tourist attraction. It contains the world’s largest collection of final resting places for Hollywood stars and other celebrities, many of which are accessible to the public. However, visiting these places is not encouraged and can be difficult to find within the 300+ acre park.

Glendale Forest Lawn also has many other attractions worth visiting. These include his art museum, his collection of some 1,500 statues, including reproductions of all of Michelangelo’s works, a stained-glass reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, and a mosaic depicting the signing of the Declaration of Independence. There are also several chapels that are replicas of famous European churches.

Walt Disney (Walt Disney) – biography, photo, personal life, children, cause of death

Biography of Walt Disney

Walt Disney is a man whose name will mentally smile even the most gloomy skeptic in the world. Director and screenwriter, actor and producer, artist and creator of animated masterpieces, winner of a record number of Oscars (26) and an incredibly creative person. It was he who turned animated films into art, and Disneyland into a magical land that children from different countries and continents dream of visiting. So, The Walt Disney Company presents…

Pictured: Walt Disney

Childhood: Chicago – Marceline – Kansas City

1901, December. In the family of Elias and Flora Disney from Chicago, a boy was born, who was named Walter. A large family (four boys and a girl) of an Irish Canadian and a German was too expensive in a big city, and soon after the birth of Walter, it was decided to move to Marceline’s farm in Kansas.

Walt Disney as a child

One day, four-year-old Walter, who had a desire to draw from the first years of his life, due to the lack of paints and pencils, used resin and a stick to depict his first projection on the wall of his parents’ house. The punishment that followed did not discourage the boy from drawing, but he understood that he needed money to buy pencils and paper. The farm that Elias had so much hoped for did not bring in enough income. Living on the brink of poverty forced the Disneys to sell the farm and move to Kansas City.

Walt Disney was born into a large family

As a schoolboy, Walt got up early in the morning for six years in a row to deliver newspapers and earn money, some of which he spent on art supplies. The father severely punished the boy for the unreasonable, in his opinion, spending money and introduced the teenager to the production of jelly, which he himself did. Nevertheless, Disney Jr. found time for his drawings and even sold them to neighbors, depicting pets at their request. School was abandoned, Walt dreamed of becoming a film artist or drawing comics.

Walt Disney in his youth

Youth: Chicago-California

Leaving his father in the jelly business, Walter went to Chicago, where he completed courses at the Art Institute. During World War I, he joined the Red Cross as an ambulance driver. A year later, returning to Kansas City, he became the artistic director of one of the commercial film advertising studios. Acquaintance with the artist Ab Iverks grew into a joint experimental project “Laugh-O-Gram” – an animation studio. But the animation had no prospects in small Kansas City, the enterprise went bankrupt.

Walt Disney was an ambulance driver

Bankruptcy would have forced another person to refuse to turn ghostly dreams into reality, but not Walt. He enlisted his older brother Roy in his plan. They opened a store that provided for household needs, and a few years later both moved to California and created The Walt Disney Company, which produced animated films. The heroine of the first animated film in 1924 was Alice, a well-known book character by Lewis Carroll. A series of stories “Alice in the Land of Animation” brought Disney the first success and the first money earned by his favorite business.

Career: Mickey Mouse & Co

Following Alice, the nimble and cheerful Rabbit Oswald appeared on the screens, and in 1928 the legendary “Crazy Airplane” and the first cartoon with synchronous dubbing “Steamboat Willie” were created, the main character of which was Mickey Mouse, first named Mortimer. But this name did not take root, the image of a nimble and wise mouse demanded that name, which is familiar to the whole world today.

Jolly Rabbit Oswald Walt Disney

So that the on-screen Mickey does not get bored, Disney then creates images of the stupid but kind dog Pluto, the cheerful and cheerful Goofy, the stingy sluggish drake Donald Duck. This company, led by Mickey Mouse, has been adored by four generations of viewers on all continents. Unprecedented success – seven Oscars – brought Walt the first full-length cartoon “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, released on screens at 1937 year. The touching stories of the flying baby elephant Dumbo (1941), the quivering deer Bambi (1942) became classics of animation.

Mickey Mouse was originally named Mortimer

1935 brought Disney the recognition of the League of Nations, which regarded his work as a symbol of the unity of peoples, and awarded the first cartoonist a medal of honor.

Soviet people were lucky enough to touch the genius of the great animator. In 1933, by order of Joseph Stalin, the first American animation festival was held in the USSR. The Three Little Pigs, Snow White and, of course, Mickey Mouse himself came to Moscow. The magic and world of Disney fairy tales inspired animation and Russia: at 19In 1936, the Soyuzmultfilm film studio was created.

Walt Disney and his legendary cartoon characters

Before the Second World War, Walt visits South America and creates a documentary film with cartoon elements “Hello Friends”. During the war years, the Disney film studio produced propaganda films with the participation of famous cartoon characters, videos for aviation and the navy. At the end of the war, the animator is engaged in the release of feature films, but in each of them his cartoon characters are viewed.

Walt Disney Awards

The mid-twentieth century pleases enthusiastic viewers with new Disney films – the film adaptation of Cinderella (1950), the magnificent Peter Pan (1953), the lyrical Sleeping Beauty (1959), the saga of dog love and fidelity Lady and the Tramp (1955) . And the animated thriller “One Hundred and One Dalmatians”, released on screens in 1961, created a real boom in America: through one dog owners began to start pets of the Dalmatian breed at home.

Walt Disney’s 6 Success Secrets

Walt was one of the first to recognize the power and possibilities of television. “Hour in Wonderland” is his author’s program, in which, in addition to many spectacular stunts, animated films from the Disney studio were necessarily shown.

Walt Disney creator of Disneyland

A pioneer in the creation of musical, sound and feature-length animated films, Walt Disney shot 111 films in his lifetime, produced almost 600 films. He is the record holder for the number of awards and prizes in the field of cinematography, the owner of two stars on the Walk of Fame, the initiator and creator of Disneyland, the largest children’s country.

Personal life of Walt Disney

Walt himself jokingly admitted that the main love of his life was Mickey Mouse. But there was also a woman with whom he was inseparable until his death. It was Lillian Bounds, an intern at The Walt Disney Company’s ink pouring department. Falling in love with the boss at first sight, Lillian often helped him out with money, despite the fact that she earned sixty dollars a month. Disney always forgot to repay debts.

Walt Disney and his wife Lillian Bounds

She did not wait for special courtship from Walt, but in 1925 the couple were legally married. Being famous, Disney, in an interview, when asked about the reason for his marriage, laughed in his own way: “I got married so as not to repay debts, there were too many of them.” Two years later, the couple moved into their own apartment and adopted a Chow Chow dog named Sunny.

Walt Disney and his children

The family was financially secure, but throughout their lives they experienced their own internal tragedies. Despite his busyness and love of life, Disney was subject to deep depressions, during which Lillian sent him on trips, tried to support her husband and pull him out of despondency.

Walt Disney and family

For a long time, the couple did not have children. Twice Lilly became pregnant, but only the third time, in 1933, she was able to give birth to Walt’s child. The girl was named Diana. On the eve of her birth, Disney, who had grown cold towards his wife, admitted in a letter to his mother that he did not feel the joy of the upcoming fatherhood and thought of himself as the most disgusting future parent. Nevertheless, it was on walks with his daughter that Walt was often visited by brilliant ideas, which he then brought to life. Disney didn’t have any more of their children, but at 19In 37, the couple adopted a little girl, giving her the name Sharon May and their last name.

The Death of Walt Disney: An Unforgettable Legacy

The national favorite, whose name is inextricably linked with the history of animated films, died at the age of sixty-five from lung cancer. The company announced the death of Walt Disney only five hours after his death. During this time, in a close circle of the closest people, it was decided to commit his body to burning. But the haste itself, as well as the secrecy of these actions, caused a wide public outcry.

The world would be very different without the influence of Walt Disney

Until now, hypotheses arise from time to time that the great animator was not burned in the crematorium, but, on the contrary, his body was subjected to deep freezing. And the arguments of such a theory are given: Disney, being terminally ill, very scrupulously studied the latest achievements of cryogenic technologies. His hope for scientific progress became the basis for such versions, believing that in the future the body of a brilliant animator will be thawed and revived in some miraculous way.

Walt Disney Monument at Disneyland

Nevertheless, on December 15, 1966, America said goodbye to the symbol of the era. The Walt Disney Company also said goodbye to him, whose employees, after the death of the Master, a heavy smoker, made a collegial decision: not a single subsequent cartoon character will appear on the screen with a cigarette.

THE BEEING GREEN KIDS MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A UNIQUE AND ENRICHING DAYCARE EXPERIENCE THROUGH QUALITY CARE, ORGANIC HEALTHY  FOODS, AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL

modern approach

organic lifestyle

We believe that in order for your little ones to grow to their fullest potential, both developmentally and physically, they need a variety of high-quality, organic and nutritious foods.

We have found that many home daycare’s and daycare centers in Brooklyn attempt to cut their costs by buying the “cheap stuff”. We do not believe that is in the best interest of your child.

enrichment experiences

We are very passionate about your child’s safety and learning experiences. We know that each child develops and learns differently, so we provide your child a variety of experiences throughout each week. We are dedicated to creating a rich learning environment for all of the children in our care by providing age appropriate and interactive learning opportunities.

Weekly experiences include:

  • Children’s Yoga

  • Cooking Class

  • Art Experiences

  • Science Experiments

philosophy

We are a Waldorf and Reggio inspired daycare and incorporate programs geared toward kindergarten readiness. This provides enriching experiences for your child through project based learning.

We believe young children learn best from their experiences which is why we ensure they are exposed to many different mediums so they can discover their world. We also implement predictable rhythms through the day, week and year in order to establish consistency.

welcoming environment

We strongly believe that learning in a calm and soothing space allows children to explore their environment free from over stimulation. Our decor is geared towards soft, neutral colors to promote a relaxing aesthetic and prevent the learning areas from appearing cluttered. With our society being so fast-paced, having an environment that is not overwhelming facilitates children learning and growing at their own pace.

To foster a relaxing learning environment for our “green kids”, we encourage our teachers to play soft, nature sounds and instrumental music throughout the day to set the tone for a tranquil experience. Each room has an essential oil diffuser that emits a pleasant aroma to promote a serene classroom.

Early Learning

Infants & Toddlers

Our Center has two rooms each for infants; 2 rooms each for young toddlers; and 2 rooms each for older toddlers — plenty of space for loads of T.L.C. Warm, positive relationships help infants develope a sense of trust in the world and feelings of competence. These interactions are critical for the development of the children’s healthy sdelf-esteem. The trusted teacher becomes the secure base from which the infant or toddler explores the evironment.

Preschool

Our two preschool rooms use curriculum that encourages both children and adults to initiate learning experiences. Through daily planning and evaluations, teachers provide activites and generate strategies to challenge children’s emerging abilities.

Before and After

A safe atmosphere of learning that helps develop self-confidence and builds character by promoting the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Helps each student to develope relationships with others and learn to work together in a cooperative manner. Involves and serves families in significant ways that build upon their strengths. Creates an environment where team members are partners with parents and other caregivers; working together to help students grow up healthy, happy and strong. “#SONG AS A WORLD WITHOUT BORDERS!”

One of the main news of autumn – 2022 on the Territory of Creativity, and at the same time the unique features of the Tver Regional Palace of Culture “Proletarka” in the 46th creative season – the start of the FIRST Regional Children’s and Youth Vocal Competition “#Song as a World Without Borders”, dedicated to World Voice Day!
All talented children – vocalists of the Upper Volga region from among the pupils of orphanages and boarding schools, as well as children with physical development difficulties, including those with disabilities or mental disabilities, can become its participants.
The new status and important social mission that the Tver Regional Palace of Culture “Proletarka” was endowed with at the beginning of 2022 not only supplemented the already rich life of “proletarian” creativity without borders, but also seriously puzzled the workshop of the Palace with the search for new forms of work within the framework of activities of the INCLUSIVE CREATIVE LABORATORY …
So, to the projects already existing, such as the integrated festival “The Way to Success” with more than 10 years of history, the amateur sports and health club for the disabled “Nadezhda”, intellectual regional competitions among teams of disabled organizations of the Tver region ” KISI” and others, in the coming creative season 2022-2023. new formations joined. This is a specialized vocal group of children from 6 years old at the first “proletarian” children’s choir “Melody KIDS” (directed by Irina Loshakova) and an inclusive formation of fine arts at the Exemplary Art Studio “Inflorescence” (directed by Valery Kolegov). In addition, today 23 people with disabilities are engaged and organize their leisure time in the Folk and Exemplary Collectives of the Palace.
The pride of the Tver Regional Palace of Culture “Proletarka” in the new 46th creative season is the start of the first Regional Children’s and Youth Vocal Competition “#Song as a world without borders” for World Voice Day! This holiday has existed in Russia for about 20 years and is dedicated to the phenomenon of the human voice and its role in human life. And our contest is designed to unite the hearts of “special” children whom nature has endowed with a unique voice and who here and now love and want to sing very much.
The founder of the competition is the Ministry of Culture of the Tver Region, the organizers are the Tver Regional Palace of Culture “Proletarka”, the Tver regional branches of the All-Russian public organizations of the disabled “The All-Russian Order of the Red Banner of Labor of the Society of the Blind”, the All-Russian Society of the Deaf and the “All-Russian Society of the Disabled”, as well as partners – The Ministry of Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Demographic and Family Policy of the Tver Region, the Tver regional branch of the “Union of Women of Russia” – we are sure that “#Song as a world without borders” will be of great benefit to all participants in the creative process. This is the further development of each child, the upbringing in him of a sense of his own value and significance, unforgettable communication in the circle of children who are passionate about creativity, and in addition, perhaps, the first steps towards a future independent life or profession.
A new creative experiment – the first regional children’s and youth vocal competition “#Song as a world without borders” will be held for children from 6 to 17 years old in stage III. The first (correspondence) – September – December 2022 – acceptance of applications and videos with the recording of a song with a duration of no more than 5 minutes. The second (in absentia) – January – March 2023 – the work of the jury and the organizing committee for the selection of competitive works to determine the finalists of the Competition. And the third (final, full-time) – April 16, 2023 – Gala – a concert and an award ceremony for the winners of the competition on the stage of the large concert hall of the Tver Regional Palace of Culture “Proletarka”.

No heartbeat at 7 weeks but still feel pregnant: What are the reasons for a late fetal heartbeat?

What are the reasons for a late fetal heartbeat?

Pregnancy is a journey both parents undertake, with the mother anchoring their way to deliver a beautiful baby into their lives. The most exciting part of pregnancy for the parents is hearing the first heartbeat of their child. Hearing the heartbeat of the baby is an indication that the pregnancy is going on as planned. There is the least risk of miscarriage when the fetus’s heartbeat has been detected.

There may be causes of no heartbeat in the fetus or late fetal heartbeat. In this article, let’s look at reasons for a late heartbeat in pregnancy.

There are several reasons for no heartbeat at 6 weeks. The parents should know about the reasons so they can prepare well for a smooth pregnancy. Let’s check the various causes of late heartbeat in pregnancy.

1. Gestational age

If the pregnancy is less than seven weeks, there would be no heartbeat at 7 weeks of a successful pregnancy. The heartbeat would only be heard through transvaginal ultrasound after 7 weeks. But when it comes to abdominal ultrasound, it can take a longer time to detect the heartbeat as it is more sensitive.

2. Different kinds of ultrasounds

If the mother is 8 weeks pregnant with no heartbeat but the baby is growing, then transvaginal ultrasound is the best form to detect the heartbeat. Transvaginal ultrasound is a preferable mode to detect the heartbeat as compared to abdominal ultrasound during early pregnancy. Detecting a heartbeat through a handheld doppler can take over 10 weeks.

3. Dates accuracy

If there is no heartbeat after seven weeks of pregnancy through transvaginal ultrasound, there may be a chance the dates of pregnancy may be wrong. In early pregnancy days, slight days off or irregular ovulation patterns can bring about this difference. So instead of panicking because of the absence of a hidden heartbeat through ultrasound, the parents should consult the doctor and go for an ultrasound after some time.

4. Tilted Uterus

The way the uterus or the womb is positioned in the pelvis is responsible for the detection of the heartbeat of the fetus. This is a medical condition in nearly 20% of women. In this case, the uterus is at a distance from the abdominal wall. There is no need to panic in this scenario as time progresses, the uterus expands and moves towards the abdominal wall, and the baby’s heart would have also grown. This would help in detecting the heartbeat of the baby.

5. Finding the baby

The baby may be difficult to find during the early days of pregnancy as it would be small in size. The Doppler should be able to zoom in properly to detect the baby’s heartbeat. It takes lots of patience and luck to detect the heartbeat with the help of a Doppler. So, if the heartbeat is not detected on the first try, the parents need to visit the doctor after some time as per the doctor’s advice.

6. Obstruction by the placenta

The obstruction by the placenta is one of the main causes of no heartbeat in the fetus, as it gets difficult for the doctor to identify the heartbeat with this obstruction. If the placenta is growing on the exterior wall of the uterus, the Doppler can identify the blood flow but won’t be able to detect the heartbeat. With time, the sound increases, and it would still be difficult for the Doppler to pick up the baby’s faint heartbeat. But, there is nothing to worry about as, with time, the size of the heartbeat would increase, and the sound of the heartbeat can be identified through the Doppler.

7. Overweight

For mothers on the healthy side, the fat layer can obstruct the Doppler’s functioning of identifying the fetus’s heartbeat. So, in this case, an ultrasound would help to detect the heartbeat by positioning the transducer on the lower part of the belly. If the abdominal ultrasound fails to identify the heartbeat, the transvaginal ultrasound is applied to detect the baby’s heartbeat.

So, if the parents are worried that if there is no heartbeat at 10 weeks, could the baby still be alive? They do not have to worry about it, but it is always advisable to consult your doctor and follow their instructions for a successful delivery.

Conclusion

When heartbeat will start for the baby? This question can be best discussed with the doctor. But in general, it is said that the baby’s heartbeat can be detected seven weeks after the pregnancy. There would be chances of no heartbeat at 9 weeks but still have successful pregnancy as the mother would have undergone the causes mentioned above for the late heartbeat in pregnancy. The parents should not panic and need to regularly contact their doctors for advice.

What is a missed miscarriage?

A missed miscarriage is a term used to describe what happens when your baby stops developing in early pregnancy but without any of the usual signs of a problem, such as bleeding or cramping. Unfortunately, it is often only discovered during a routine scan in the early weeks of pregnancy. Any pregnancy loss is devastating, but a missed miscarriage can also be a big shock because you may not have known anything was wrong.

What happens in a missed miscarriage?

After conception, a fertilised egg implants in your womb (uterus). Sadly, sometimes there’s a problem. Your baby doesn’t continue to develop but your body doesn’t pass any pregnancy tissue and you don’t experience pain or bleeding. This means you won’t immediately know that anything has happened. This is a missed miscarriage, also called a silent or delayed miscarriage.

In a missed miscarriage, it may be that your embryo didn’t develop at all and the pregnancy sac is empty. This is called an anembryonic pregnancy, which is also known as a blighted ovum. Or it may be that your baby started to grow, but then stopped growing and they have no heartbeat. Occasionally it happens beyond the first few weeks, perhaps at eight weeks or 10 weeks, or even further on.

Your body may still give you signals that you’re pregnant because your placenta can develop and produce a pregnancy hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). This means that if you took a pregnancy test, it may still give you a positive test result for a little while. However, if your hormone levels are starting to fall, those signs may decrease slightly. Your breast tenderness may ease, and any nausea may stop before you expected it to.

Because these signs can be subtle and you won’t necessarily experience the usual miscarriage symptoms, such as cramping pain or vaginal bleeding, you may not find out that anything’s wrong until your first ultrasound scan. This is when you may be told either that the pregnancy sac is empty, or that your baby has no heartbeat.

The news will be a shock, particularly if you had an earlier scan that showed a heartbeat. You may find it hard to accept. Lots of people go through a period of grief, anxiety or depression and you and your loved ones should give yourselves time to come to terms with it.

What causes a missed miscarriage?

A missed miscarriage usually happens because something went wrong in your early pregnancy. The reasons for this aren’t certain but researchers believe that it’s often caused by chromosomal variations. Perhaps your embryo had more or less chromosomes than is typical. At the moment of conception, when the sperm meets the egg, 23 chromosomes from each parent should meet, to make 46 in total.

Alternatively, perhaps there were the right number of chromosomes, but a piece of one was missing or duplicated.

How common are missed miscarriages?

You may find it reassuring to know that you’re not alone in going through this loss. Sadly, up to one in five pregnancies end in miscarriage in the first three months of pregnancy (the first trimester). It may also give you comfort to know that most women go on to have successful pregnancies after a missed miscarriage.

How is a missed miscarriage diagnosed?

If your sonographer thinks you have a missed miscarriage based on your ultrasound, they’ll need to confirm with a follow-up scan, to be sure. This means they’ll offer to examine you again in at least a weeks time. Or, depending on what they see, they may ask you if another sonographer can carry out a vaginal scan to immediately confirm the diagnosis.

Grieving a miscarriage: words of comfort.

There are many emotions to cope with after a miscarriage. See what seven BabyCentre mums had to say about healing after a pregnancy loss. More on coping with grief and loss.

How is a missed miscarriage treated?

There are several ways your missed miscarriage may be treated. You don’t have to decide immediately what you’d prefer to do. You may need some time to think about it. Your healthcare team should be able to explain the treatment options clearly, so you can make the decision that’s right for you.

Expectant management

Wait and see if nature takes its course and you miscarry naturally.

Medical management

Your doctor will give you a medicine called misoprostol to help along completion of the miscarriage. You may be offered tablets to swallow or a pessary to insert into your vagina.

Surgical management

Minor surgery under anaesthetic to remove pregnancy tissue from your womb.

Will a missed miscarriage happen to me again?

If you’ve had a miscarriage, it’s natural to feel anxious that it could happen again. Most women go on to have a successful pregnancy the next time round. But if you’re very worried at the start of your next pregnancy, your GP may request a scan at about eight weeks. Your GP will recommend this timing because very early scans can give uncertain results.

It’s natural to search for answers if you’ve lost a pregnancy. Sadly, early miscarriage is common and the reasons aren’t usually clear, so try not to blame yourself.

A dead pregnancy at 9 obstetric week

complain

July 24, 2019 23:46 Personal Journal

Girls, a problem happened to me! I took HCG every week to see how the baby develops. I did it on July 15, hCG was already 23,300 (duration 7 weeks, 4 days) at a rate of 20,000. I went out of panic for an ultrasound scan. The fetus was a week and 4 days behind the egg (But there was a heartbeat. On Monday, the hCG again showed 13300. The next day, on an ultrasound, they put a dead pregnancy for a period of 8 obstetric weeks. I am shocked, the first pregnancy, planned, very desired, turned out with first cycle. They sent me for a medical abortion. I drank the first pills today, next to drink on Friday for contractions. I’m very afraid, they say it hurts as if you’re giving birth (I don’t have strength, I’ve already cried all the tears.0003 0 30421

Fetal heartbeat at different stages of pregnancy

Complain Let’s figure out how long and by what methods it is possible to fix and hear the fetal heartbeat? The presence of a fetal heartbeat can be established already in the early stages of pregnancy: with abdominal (through the abdominal wall) ultrasound, the first heartbeats are determined at 5 weeks (hereinafter, we are talking about obstetric weeks – from the first day of the last menstruation), with transvaginal – at 3-4 weeks . These terms depend on the sensitivity of the ultrasound machine and the qualifications of the specialist. At such a short time, the heart rate (HR) is 110-130 beats per minute. With multiple pregnancies in the earliest stages, you can see separately located two or more fetal eggs. Diagnosis of uterine pregnancy with TA-scan is possible at an obstetric period of 5-6 weeks, i.e. when the delay in menstruation with a regular menstrual cycle is 1 week or more. signs, symptoms and causes. How to determine a frozen pregnancy. Clinic Ak. Grishchenko

Not always long-awaited and such a desired pregnancy ends with the birth of a baby. Sometimes women find out that the pregnancy has stopped. Unfortunately, this problem is not rare. According to statistics, in about 15% of cases, the planned babies “freeze” in the womb for one reason or another.

What is it?

A dead pregnancy is a pregnancy that initially met all medical standards, but suddenly stopped developing in a certain period. The cessation of progress in the development of the fetus leads to its death, but it remains in the uterine cavity. For this reason, such a pathology is called a failed miscarriage.

In fact, at the very beginning, everything happens, as in a normal pregnancy – the egg is fertilized, enters the uterus and is implanted for further development, but it stops at one moment. This pathology also includes the syndrome of “empty fetal egg”. It is the development of fetal membranes in which there is no embryo. With this syndrome, a pregnancy test is positive, as well as an analysis for hCG.

Dangerous timing: when can it happen?

The development of the fetus can stop at any time up to 28 weeks (in rare cases, the cessation of development can occur later), but the greatest likelihood of such a pathology occurs in the first trimester. There are also several periods with the highest risk of miscarriage, these include the following periods:

  • 3-4 weeks;
  • 8-10 weeks;
  • 16-18 weeks.

It is these terms that most often become critical for pregnancy.

Causes of miscarriage?

Even doctors are not always able to find out exactly why a miscarriage happened. In modern medicine, there are a number of reasons that can cause such a pathology. All of them are divided into several large groups:

  • Genetic pathologies . It is these reasons that most often provoke a halt in fetal development. Pathological genes or the presence of an extra chromosome in the embryo can cause the development of many defects that are incompatible with life, leading to termination of pregnancy. Often, genetic pathologies cause a stop in the development of pregnancy in the eighth to tenth week.
  • Infections . A missed pregnancy can also often happen due to the presence of infectious diseases, since during the period of bearing a child, a woman experiences a rather serious decline in immune defenses. Especially dangerous for this period are TORCH infections, which include rubella, cytomegalovirus, herpes and toxoplasmosis. The greatest danger to the fetus is the first “meeting” of the mother with the infection in an already pregnant state. Therefore, when registering, pregnant women are strongly recommended to be screened for these types of infections. Even seemingly simple and familiar diseases such as influenza or SARS can cause pathology, especially in the early stages, when vital organs are formed in the fetus. The infection can affect the fetus directly, causing various types of anomalies, or on the membranes, resulting in a significant lack of oxygen or nutrients to the fetus.
  • Hormonal disorders . Hormonal balance is extremely important for the normal bearing of a child. Therefore, with a lack of progesterone or an excess of male hormones (androgens), the likelihood of miscarriage significantly increases. Any hormonal disruptions are recommended to be treated before pregnancy.
  • Antiphospholipid syndrome . Because of them, the formation of placental vessels or their blockage may also decrease, which leads to a violation of the fetus receiving the necessary nutrition.
  • Teratozoospermia . This cause of a missed pregnancy is associated with pathologies in the seminal fluid of a man. With teratozoospermia, spermatozoa have an irregular structure, so fertilization with such a cell leads to abnormalities in the development of the embryo.
  • Lifestyle . The presence of bad habits, as well as lifestyle during childbearing (and the planning period) can also adversely affect the development of the embryo, causing it to freeze. The use of alcoholic beverages, smoking, stress, occupational hazards, daily routine, sedentary lifestyle, unbalanced diet – all this is considered negative factors for pregnancy.
  • Other factors. Pregnancy fading can also occur due to a sharp change in climate, a history of abortions (especially if there were several).

In some cases, several causes may be found at once, which could lead to a pregnancy fading.

How do doctors determine missed pregnancy?

At each examination of a pregnant woman, the gynecologist determines the size of the uterus, so if they do not correspond to the current period, the specialist may suspect the fetal fading. But such a diagnosis is made only after an ultrasound examination. In rare cases, ultrasound is not performed – if the woman turned to the doctor late and intoxication of the body has already occurred due to the death of the fetus.

Signs and symptoms

The symptoms of miscarriage in any trimester are the same. The main signs that may indicate such a pathology are:

  • vaginal discharge with blood impurities;
  • general weakness, chills, fever;
  • drawing pains in the lower part of the abdomen;
  • cessation of swelling and soreness of the mammary glands;
  • abrupt disappearance of manifestations of toxicosis;
  • absence of fetal movements (with pathology in the second trimester).

Despite the presence of characteristic symptoms of pathology, often the cessation of fetal development goes unnoticed, since the basal temperature can remain within 37 degrees, and the hCG level remains high for several more weeks. In this case, the woman learns about the problem only at the next appointment with the doctor or a planned ultrasound.

How to recover from a missed pregnancy?

If such a pathology occurs, it is imperative to remove the dead embryo from the uterine cavity, if this did not happen naturally. For this, a cleaning is carried out, with the help of which all particles of the fetal membranes are removed from the uterus. Both scraping and vacuum can be used. If the fading occurred at a very early date, doctors may suggest a medical abortion, which is somewhat more gentle for the woman, including psychologically.

Doctors recommend to refrain from the next pregnancy for six months (according to the recommendation of the World Health Organization). This time is enough for the body to recover after what happened. Therefore, during this time, women are advised to take oral contraceptives, which minimize the likelihood of conception, and also allow you to normalize hormonal levels.

During recovery, it is also recommended to lead the most healthy and active lifestyle, take care of a balanced diet and take vitamin complexes. A woman definitely needs psychological support, and if she endured the incident especially hard, she may need the help of specialists – a psychologist or psychiatrist. This will help you get back to normal and prepare for your next pregnancy.

What tests to take after?

Before becoming pregnant after a missed pregnancy, it is necessary to exclude the possibility of a recurrence of what happened. Treatment should be appropriate to the problem that caused the pathology. Therefore, it is extremely important to undergo a complete examination, which will help determine the cause of the fetal development fading. According to the results of the examination, doctors prescribe treatment in accordance with the detected diseases.

It is recommended to undergo an examination after the restoration of the woman’s menstrual cycle (usually it takes about 30 days after cleaning). But both spouses should be tested. The full examination includes:

  • genetic testing of spouses;
  • tests for TORCH infections;
  • hormonal study;
  • blood coagulogram;
  • Gynecological ultrasound;
  • spermogram;
  • immunogram.

This examination is usually sufficient to determine the causes of miscarriage, both early and late. The attending physician may prescribe additional studies if necessary. All these examinations can be done at the IVF and infertility treatment clinic of Academician V.I. Grishchenko.

Frozen pregnancy is not a verdict – in 90% of cases, after the occurrence of such a pathology, spouses become happy parents of healthy babies in the near future. The main thing is to undergo a complete examination and eliminate the cause of the pathology. And if necessary, you can go through the procedure of artificial insemination (IVF).

Answers from specialists in the field of reproduction, fertility, women’s health about whether cleaning is mandatory during a missed pregnancy.

On the Internet, the question is often asked: “Is it necessary to do curettage during a missed pregnancy (ZB)?”

We asked this question to our doctors:

Parashchuk Valentin Yuryevich

Head Physician of Academician Grishchenko Clinic, obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductologist.

Good afternoon. If the pregnancy froze at an early stage and there are no signs that it is going to resolve itself, that is, there is no bleeding, then it is advisable to evacuate the contents of the uterine cavity, that is, to do curettage. If the pregnancy seeks to resolve itself, then it can come out on its own. And then curettage is not required, you can just look at the ultrasound as soon as the discharge ends, that there are no inclusions in the uterine cavity, that there are no elements of the fetal egg in the uterine cavity.

Another situation is when the pregnancy has stalled and you really need to evacuate the contents, and then there are alternative methods, sometimes they offer the so-called “medical abortion”, this is the term. And it is more correct to do a scraping, or a vacuum, if the time permits. Because, sometimes, after these very medical abortions, you have to do scraping, but already in fact of complications. Because the entire contents of the uterine cavity does not always come out completely, and then inflammation joins, this is a big trauma for the uterus, this is already a conditionally urgent condition, and it is better not to allow it. Therefore, it is better to do a moderate, without severe injury and without complications, curettage on time than to do it as a necessary measure. When it is already clear that this is a frozen pregnancy, tactics can be discussed, but it is important to really understand when it is, which are such dangerous or alarming calls.

The main complaint is that if the uterus is already frozen and the uterus is trying to get rid of the pregnancy, then this is bloody discharge, that is, the pregnancy is already rejected. But it happens that she freezes and the patient knows absolutely nothing about it, and they become a godsend at a later date, when she is told that the fetal egg does not match in size, that she stopped earlier, and this cannot be suspected in any way. Therefore, if there are pains, pulling pains in the lower abdomen, spotting, you should definitely consult a doctor. Firstly, because it is not a fact that it is frozen. Or maybe it’s a threat of pregnancy fading, and you can turn in time, respond in time, stop the process and save the pregnancy. And if she really froze, then react in time and get rid of the fetal egg that has already stopped in development, without allowing any complications. In any case, if pain or spotting occurs during pregnancy, at any time, this is an indication to consult a doctor. There should be no pain, there should be no blood.

Alipova Elena Konstantinovna

Obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductologist, ultrasound specialist.

The question is unconditional that the miscarriage must be removed from the uterus. That is, non-developing tissues, they are the source of the inflammatory process in the first place, and these tissues should be removed as soon as possible. The best method is still scraping.

As for not deleting at all, this is not even discussed. You can talk a little about medical abortion, but in my opinion, he also has no right to exist with a missed pregnancy. First, because everything needs to be done:

  • fast;
  • as carefully as possible.

And most the main thing is that scraping products, concept products, as they say now, can be sent in this case for genetic testing . And this, with a frozen pregnancy, is very important because, well, what happened, it happened, and everyone is interested in the question of why it happened. A genetic study of abortive material helps in about 80% of cases to answer the question of what happened after all. If genetics is to blame, this is one conversation, if everything is in order from a genetic point of view, additional examinations will be directed in another direction.

Lutsky Andrey Sergeevich

Obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductologist.

Hello. Today we will talk about missed pregnancy. There are surgical methods, such as curettage, vacuum aspiration and hysteroscopic removal of the ovum, and medical methods, the so-called “medical abortion” . Medical methods of abortion are indicated for women who have already had pregnancies in the past and had natural childbirth. This is due to the fact that the cervix of the uterus in such women is ajar and during induction, artificial induction of uterine contractions, a complete spontaneous abortion occurs, no residues remain in the uterine cavity. If the girl is nulliparous, then medical abortion often gives complications. Not everything comes out of the uterine cavity. Parts of the membranes remain, clots, and, let’s say, a delay of these parts occurs and there may be an inflammatory process, as a result of which, subsequently, surgical intervention is required – curettage or vacuum aspiration. The method of terminating a missed pregnancy is chosen by the attending physician based on these data. In our clinic, we often encounter missed pregnancy in those women who want to give birth to their child. And to understand the genetics of the fetus, we often recommend hysteroscopic removal or vacuum aspiration of the ovum.

Yuliya Vladimirovna Labuznaya

Obstetrician-gynecologist of the department of operative gynecology, doctor of the cervical pathology office

Hello. Today I will try to answer the most frequently asked questions regarding non-developing pregnancy. Perhaps I’ll start with such a rink: “Is it necessary to do vacuum aspiration of the contents of the uterine cavity, that is, the evacuation of a missed pregnancy, if a non-developing pregnancy is diagnosed?” And so let’s deal with the concept. Non-developing pregnancy is such a pathological condition in which pregnancy fades, but spontaneous expulsion from the uterine cavity does not occur. At the same time, the woman herself does not immediately understand what happened to her. The first signs of a missed pregnancy can appear 2-3 weeks after the incident. The fetal egg, which is located in the uterine cavity, undergoes various pathological changes, adversely affecting the endometrium, thereby causing an inflammatory process called “endometritis”.

If a woman decides to wait for the spontaneous expulsion of a missed pregnancy from the uterine cavity, what happens? The endometrium tries to reject the frozen fetal egg, but the inflammatory processes taking place in this endometrium slow down this process, and the process can last from several days to several weeks. Which absolutely negatively affects the endometrium and contributes to the development of the inflammatory process further. There is an act that the fetal egg from the uterine cavity, as it were, came out, but not completely. There is a part of him left. From this part, often, a placental polyp is formed. The presence of a placental polyp in the uterine cavity contributes to the prevention of a subsequent pregnancy. Before the onset, planning a subsequent pregnancy, such a pali must be removed. In addition, the presence of a fetal egg in the uterine cavity for four weeks or more significantly increases the risk of bleeding. Therefore, the best solution to such an issue, in the presence of a missed pregnancy in a patient, is vacuum aspiration of the contents of the uterine cavity with the appointment of subsequent anti-inflammatory therapy.

The second issue is errors in the diagnosis of non-developing pregnancy. For example, at 5-6 weeks, an ultrasound examination, in order to avoid such errors, is carried out by at least two specialists. If there are no clear criteria for non-developing pregnancy, it is recommended for the patient to repeat this study after 3-7 days. Again, to avoid mistakes. In addition, in parallel, the task of such an analysis as an analysis of human chorionic gonadotropin in the blood is mandatory. If the pregnancy develops, the hCG will increase accordingly, if the pregnancy is still frozen, then the hCG will either fall or not grow at all. If the gestational age is 7-8 weeks, then according to the ultrasound examination, the heart rate of the embryo will be absent. In addition, there will be a discrepancy between the size of the fetal egg and the gestational age. At gestational age 9-12 weeks, in addition to the lack of heart rate and the discrepancy between the gestational age and the size of the fetal egg, there will also be no movement of the embryo. It should always be remembered that every woman has the right to take a closer look at the ultrasound in a few days for an accurate diagnosis, to control the human chorionic gonadotropin, in fact, in order to avoid errors in the diagnosis of “non-developing pregnancy”.

Answers to frequently asked and discussed questions on the forums:

✅ Can an ultrasound erroneously show a miscarriage?

Misdiagnosis of “non-developing pregnancy” occurs in the early stages. In our clinic, in order to avoid such errors, ultrasound at 5-6 weeks is performed by at least two specialists. If there are no clear criteria for non-developing pregnancy, then the patient is recommended to do a second study after 3-7 days. And on re-examination, it may turn out that the frozen pregnancy turned out to be normal.

✅ With a missed pregnancy, is it possible to do without cleaning?

If a frozen pregnancy tends to resolve itself, then it can come out on its own, and then curettage (cleansing) is not required. As soon as the discharge ends, it is necessary to check on an ultrasound scan that there are no elements of the ovum left in the uterine cavity. If the pregnancy froze at an early stage and there are no signs that it is going to resolve itself, that is, there is no bleeding, then it is advisable to do a curettage.

✅ Frozen pregnancy – cleaning or pills?

Medical abortions are indicated for women who have had previous pregnancies and vaginal deliveries. But it is more correct to do a scraping, or a vacuum, if the time permits. Because, sometimes, after medical abortions, you also have to do scraping, but already in fact of complications. Because the contents of the uterine cavity do not always come out completely, and inflammation is added, and this is a big trauma for the uterus and it is better not to allow this. Therefore, it is better to do a moderate, without severe injury and without complications, curettage on time than to do it as a necessary measure. And most importantly, scraping products can be sent for genetic testing to identify the causes of fetal development fading.

✅ Can there be a miscarriage without symptoms?

It happens that the pregnancy stops, and the patient knows absolutely nothing about it, and this is discovered at a later date, when she is told that the fetal egg does not correspond in size, that the pregnancy stopped earlier, but this, unfortunately, it is impossible to suspect in advance.

Family Child Care Full Report — Center for New York City Affairs

Child care offered in a provider’s own home is the most common child care arrangement for young children from low-income families, yet national studies have found the quality of home-based family child care to be wanting. In 2012, New York City launched one of the country’s largest experiments in raising the quality of subsidized family child care. More than three years since the launch of EarlyLearnNYC, the Center for New York City Affairs investigated what has worked and what has not.

Our findings, documented in this report, are mixed. We found pockets of important work and we saw the pride that providers feel as they begin to view themselves as educators rather than babysitters. For some family child care providers, EarlyLearn has deepened their understanding of early childhood development, including the value of identifying and addressing developmental delays early.

But we also found problems, including a misfit between what EarlyLearn providers can do and a number of the reform’s requirements. In many cases, standards more appropriate to early education centers were grafted onto the family child care programs. Some of these new requirements, while noble in intent, were insufficiently tailored to the realities and limitations of family child care providers, and failed to enhance the small, warm, nurturing home environments that are unique strengths of this model of care.

Key findings include:

  • Requirements that home-based caregivers prepare daily written lesson plans and make detailed evaluations of each child’s educational needs and progress are often unmet because they’re unworkable for providers, many who have limited education and do not speak English or Spanish. (See “In the Shadow of Centers.”)
  • One result of EarlyLearn’s intense documentation mandates appears to be an attrition of providers not linguistically comfortable with the requirements. A CNYCA analysis of ACS data found, for example, that today there are 40 percent fewer city contracted home-based providers with Chinese surnames than there were before EarlyLearn. (See “Lost in Translation.”)
  • People familiar with the system estimate that only about half of the City’s more than 1,700 EarlyLearn family child care providers are “up to speed” in meeting EarlyLearn requirements. (See “Paperwork Vs. Board Books.”)
  • In interviews, support staff at network organizations consistently identified “home visits” from a trusted coach as holding great potential for improving program quality. New research on family child care echoes this finding. However, EarlyLearn provides very little guidance on what the goals of a home visit are, or how they should be carried out. As a result, the quality and types of support that EarlyLearn family providers receive vary from network to network and even staff member to staff member. (See “The Struggle to Improve Quality.”)
  • Network staff say their contracts with ACS don’t cover the costs of administering home-based care. Many pass some costs to providers in the form of administrative fees that vary widely from network to network and, thus, lead to different rates of pay among the home-based providers, who are already paid very low wages. (See “Scraping By.”)
  • A growing number of families receiving subsidized child care are turning to licensed, group family child care. Fewer now use informal arrangements with friends, families and neighbors. (See “Seeking an Early Education.”)

This report proposes two overarching course corrections to help EarlyLearn achieve its goal of improving family child care:

  • The City should revise its practice of borrowing child care practices created for more structured and staffed child care centers and grafting them onto the home-based programs. Instead, it could look to the home visiting field for models.
  • The City should provide clearer quality guidelines for the network support staff who work with family child care providers, framing their roles as both coach and monitor with clear expectations and ample resources.

In line with these proposals, the report includes recommendations from an advisory board of experts and stakeholders assembled by the Center for New York City Affairs.

“Bringing It All Home: Problems and Possibilities Facing New York City’s Family Child Care” is made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship and leadership of the Stella and Charles Guttman Foundation as well as to the generous support of the Child Care and Early Education Fund. CNYCA’s reporting on children and families is additionally supported by the Child Welfare Fund and the Sirus Foundation.

English courses in New York for children

Kindergartens, nurseries, preschool New York and Brooklyn

The education of a child is an important moment for parents. There is an understanding of school attendance – a habitual education that is mandatory. With preparation for school there is no unambiguous understanding. Visiting the garden for parents is a voluntary decision. There are no mandatory rules or requirements. Predominantly, parents believe that kindergartens have a positive impact. The lack of places forces them to refuse to attend a preschool institution.

Kindergartens

The birth of a child in a US country automatically makes him a citizen. Immediately granting the right to attend a state-recognized kindergarten for free. For foreigners attending nurseries, schools are not available free of charge.

Children 5-14 years old who are not permanently registered, citizens of the country, can only enroll in private children’s institutions. For the opportunity to attend a nursery, any other preschool institution, parents receive an F1 visa.

Kindergartens Brooklyn

Primary education is determined by the age group of 5-6 years. Attendance at preschool institutions is determined by the states as mandatory selectively. Parents have the right to decide for themselves whether it is necessary to attend a zero grade.

This is considered preparation for school. Therefore, parents pay more attention to the educational program. Giving a preschooler to private kindergartens in Brooklyn, they carefully study the training program. Some establishments:

  • Sunshine Daycare. Diversified Development Program. There are additional age groups.

  • Tinybumblebees Daycare. The institution has a main group – age 2-5. Additional group for kids up to 2.

  • Little Red Riding Hood. A complete program for the development of a preschooler before entering school.

Nursery

From 1 month nurseries become available. The cost of attending such institutions becomes higher than that of a preschool institution. If we talk about the Brooklyn nursery, there are no state-approved kindergartens throughout the country for up to 5 years. Exclusive establishments at home. The cost of visiting may depend on a number of reasons:

Nursery Brooklyn

Features of the nursery vary the price of visiting institutions. Younger children require special attention and care. There are many establishments in this direction. Some:

  • Brain fitness. They accept children 2-5 years old. The psychologist works. Classes are held daily.

  • Mermaid Child Daycare. A preschool institution that accepts babies from 1 month old, providing full care and concern.

Preschool institutions

A full day of visiting a kindergarten is considered to be the time: 9-15. There is one fee for this period. As a rule, establishments work from 7-18. Time 9-15 is paid according to another established tariff.

Russian-language institutions exist mainly privately at home. Such groups are designed for children up to 8 people. Since it is determined that this is the number of children the teacher can teach.

Preschool Brooklyn

Brooklyn Preschool begins with an application. The cost is 100-300 dollars. The administration considers the application from the parents for 1 month, after the person rejects or accepts it.

Children are divided into groups according to age. For each group, a schedule of classes is drawn up for 12 months in advance. Every day, parents receive a report on what the child did during the day. Today, the Brooklyn nursery is in demand among parents and they begin to look for an institution even before the birth of a child. Write down the baby approx. The place for him is fixed plus or minus 2-3 months.

Going to kindergarten and school in Montenegro — Discount-House.ru

If you have bought a property in Montenegro or just decided to move here, most likely you are interested in the question of how and where your children will study. In fact, this is not a problem at all – to arrange a child in a Montenegrin kindergarten or school.

Kindergarten

Communication is important for a small child, no matter what country you live in. That is why it is necessary to send him to kindergarten, even if the language barrier bothers you. By the way, in Montenegro this will not be a strong hindrance to communication even at an early stage. The language is not difficult, and children adapt to a new environment very easily. In addition, at the moment there are many Russian and just Russian-speaking people living in Montenegro, so your child may well find friends who speak his language. By the way, they will help him quickly adapt to a new environment for him.

An advantage of the Montenegrin kindergarten will be the tutors, who are strikingly different from the Russian ones. Here, a friendly atmosphere reigns in groups, educators communicate with children affectionately, strive to find an approach to them and rarely lead to conflicts. You will not see children idle or deprived of attention in the Montenegrin kindergarten. And this is largely due to the mentality of Montenegrins: they love children very much.

Another feature of the kindergarten in Montenegro is the abundance of educational activities. It can be quite serious classes in music, ballet, and ordinary training classes in counting, speech development, and others. There are also many sports sections for children aged three and over.

However, the most interesting thing is the numerous walks and excursions that abound in the program of local kindergartens. Of course, both the climate and nature are conducive to holding them, and on hot days going to the sea is not only pleasant, but also useful.

In order to get into a kindergarten in Montenegro, you need to enroll in it. To do this, go to the garden, which is located near your place of residence, contact an accountant. If it suddenly turns out that the kindergarten is full, try to negotiate. Here it is much easier than in Russia: no one will leave your child unattended, and you can “get off” with a standard box of chocolates. No additional “extortions” and documents are required, they can, however, ask for a child’s medical book, but this is rare.

Enrollment in the public kindergarten will cost 15 euros. A monthly stay in a kindergarten will cost 35-40 euros. The cost of a private one is slightly higher – 60 euros per month. There are also kindergartens for Russian children, but if in the future you plan to send your child to a Montenegrin school, it is better to immerse him in this environment. Moreover, then with his friends in the kindergarten he will go to school.

School

Montenegrin schools are free. Education, which is given here, is considered the eighth level in Europe. A training system was built on the well-known Soviet one. Enrollment in schools in Montenegro begins in April and ends in mid-June. This should be taken into account if you are going to arrive at the very beginning of the school year. The age at which they take in the first class is 6 years.

If you decide to send your child to a Montenegrin school, then you should understand that the language of instruction will be Serbian (or Montenegrin – this is already decided on the spot by the teacher and most parents, and the differences between these languages are not so significant). Therefore, you can “play it safe” and hire a tutor who will help the student learn a new language faster, as well as better understand the school curriculum. There are quite a few centers that offer such services to Russians throughout Montenegro.

An advantage of the Montenegrin school is its focus on learning foreign languages. From the first grade, the first foreign language is studied (usually English), and from the fifth – another one (to choose from – French, German or Italian). Additionally, you can go to special language courses, there are offices of Oxford and Cambridge. But it is better for the child to first get used to the Serbian language, and then seriously study others.

In order to get into a school in Montenegro, you will need to be examined by doctors, take tests, get vaccinated in order to get a certificate, which you will then need to provide to the school. If you have not got a medical book, this can be done at the hospital for a fee, just do not forget your passport.
