Schools in Los Angeles

Elementary and Middle Schools

The typical American elementary school community consists of children ages 6-12 and kindergarten (similar to preschool) through 6th grade. From here, they typically attend high school in 7th and 8th grade, then finish schooling in high school from 9th to 12th grade. There are variants of this format throughout the country, but most follow this layout. Public schools receive support from taxpayers and the budget and education is determined by public vote. Which school a child attends is determined by where they live.

There is also a system of private schools that is provided for student paid tuition. Many schools are religiously affiliated and completely separate from the state. Tuition is usually very expensive, averaging between $10,000 and $20,000. Scholarships and financial aid can be provided through the school.

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) includes over 750,000 kindergarten students through grade 12, and is the nation’s second largest district. The area includes 704 square miles, including the city of Los Angeles and all or parts of 28 other cities. Like many school districts in the United States, it faces underfunding and is currently affiliated with Organization 90-30″ which students attend school for 90 days, then 30 days off year-round.

University

There are several notable Universities in the Los Angeles area. The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of Southern California (USC) are all excellent Universities and research boast excellent departments UCLA is a public university and enrollment is about 40,000 (www. ucla.edu) USC is a private school with a single admission of about 30,000 (www.usc.edu) Other notable colleges and universities in the area include California Institute of Technology (http://www.caltech.edu/), California State University (www.calstatela.edu), Loyola Marymount University (www.lmu.edu), Pepperdine University (http://www.pepperdine.edu /), and Mount St. Mary College (www.msmc.la.edu).

Universities are very expensive with prices increasing every year. A public university can cost around $6,000 to $10,000 to study alone with housing, books and other learning needs costing much more. The academic academic year usually runs from September to June with the option of a summer quarter, which is a different account. A private university is much more costly with tuition costs somewhere between $20,000 and even up to $50,000 per year. Scholarships and financial aid will help students attend the university of their choice, however most students must take out loans to complete their education.

Libraries and Research Centers

Like many things in LA, the library system is huge. The Los Angeles public library system has over 6 million volumes in over 70 branches throughout the metropolitan area. The largest branch is the third largest public library in the country. Here you can find maps, audio cassettes, films, art reproductions, mobile libraries, and special services for the visually impaired. There are also some unique selections from California history of African-American fiction, genealogies, Japanese prints, rare books, and the nation’s largest collection of food and drink material, including several thousand menus, primarily from California restaurants. More information about the library system can be found at www.lapl.org and the main office is located at 630 West Fifth Street, Los Angeles, CA

-2097 and telephone (213) 228-7000.

All major universities have excellent libraries. UCLA and USC have 6.2 million and 2.7 million volumes, respectively. The Los Angeles County Law Library also has fundraisers in all areas of the law.

Los Angeles has become an important place for the development of science and the implementation of scientific research. Three cities, the most prestigious universities, UCLA, USC, and the California Institute of Technology, for amazing research work. Twenty Nobel Prize winners have come from the LA research community. Current research is being carried out in many areas, including archeology, AIDS, cystic fibrosis, schizophrenia, sickle cell anemia, oncology, astronomy, seismology, foreign policy, armament and disarmament, desert research, and ocean research.

US Schools – Education World

US Secondary Education

Undoubtedly, the US secondary education system is considered the most progressive in the world. In secondary private schools in the United States, the most modern methods of pedagogy are used, aimed at developing the individuality and independence of the child, at educating a strong personality capable of quickly and competently making decisions in an ever-changing reality. In US secondary schools, an individual approach is applied to each child, the teacher becomes a “partner” for him, helping him to reveal all his talents. Thanks to this approach, as in US secondary schools, it is much easier for a child to choose a specialization, and, accordingly, a future profession.

Secondary education in the US consists of 3 main levels:
– Elementary School – US primary school;
– Middle School – US high school;
– High School – US higher school, similar to the high school of the European education system.

America’s elementary school educates children ages five to twelve. The primary education program in the United States includes key subjects: mathematics, writing and reading, singing, visual arts, physical education, and natural sciences. Education in elementary school takes place in the form of a game. Such school activities replace excursions, creative activities and group projects.

In American secondary schools, children from the sixth-seventh grade (11-12 years old) to the eighth grade (14 years old) receive education. Compulsory subjects for study are: social and natural sciences, English, mathematics and physical education. Other subjects US high school students choose on their own, for example, foreign languages, technology, and various types of art.

The final stage of secondary education in the United States, which includes grades 9-12, is high school. High school students in America need to meet the minimum criteria for graduation, and the subjects studied at this level are chosen more freely.

US High School
Typically, high school is ninth through twelfth grade for children ages 14-15 to 17-18.
In higher education, students are given freedom in choosing the subjects they study. School rules always stipulate compulsory groups of subjects and the duration of their study. But within this group, the student can choose a direction that is more interesting for him. In addition, for almost every subject there are elementary and more complex courses (as well as the so-called Advanced Placement, AP, “advanced”).

In addition, there are many optional, optional subjects: music, additional foreign language courses, the basics of a healthy lifestyle, the basics of doing business, and others. And again – a group of musical subjects can include piano lessons, jazz, a symphony orchestra, a choir, etc.

Among all these groups, each student independently chooses the most interesting subjects for him, taking into account the mandatory requirements, of course.
Such a system leads to the fact that in American schools there are no classes in the usual sense – that is, groups of students constantly studying different subjects in the same composition. The American student at each lesson is surrounded by other children, depending on the subjects he has chosen.

There are no physical education classes in US high schools. Here, schoolchildren are engaged in any specific sport: basketball, athletics, swimming, football, etc. At the same time, it is absolutely normal to play one sport in the first semester, and another in the second (often even in school programs, sports are divided into “autumn” for the first semester, and “spring” – for the second). Sports in US schools are given a lot of attention.

In high school, especially in the last two years, there is a new type of advanced class. Students may take classes that should prepare them for the Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exams. Most universities count a good mark on these exams as an initial course in the relevant subject.

Advanced Placement (AP)
Is a College Board program in the United States and Canada that offers curriculum and exams to High School students. American colleges and universities often provide places and loans for students who score high on exams. The curriculum for each of the various subjects is created for the College Board by a group of experts and college educators from a specific area of expertise.

International Baccalaureate Diploma
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) is an international high school diploma recognized by universities around the world. This intensive 2-year international education program is suitable for high school students aged 16 to 19 who have completed at least 10-11 years of high school.
The IB Diploma program provides an opportunity to earn an internationally recognized high school diploma. Successful completion of the program will allow you to enter the most prestigious universities in the world. Studying subjects from various academic fields, as well as working on assignments both individually and in groups, allows you to gain extensive knowledge and develop independence.

Both school and university grades are given on the A/B/C/D/F system, where A is the best grade, F is poor, and D can be considered pass or fail depending on the circumstances. All marks, except F, may be prefixed with “+” or “-“. Some schools do not have A+ and D− grades. From these marks, a grade point average (GPA) is computed, in which A counts as 4, B counts as 3, and so on. High school grades often go up by a point, meaning A counts as a 5, and so on.

While still in high school, students take university or college entrance tests (usually the SAT or ACT). By the time they finish school, many children not only know whether they entered the chosen university, but also whether they can count on a particular scholarship.

Those who have received a secondary education can enter community colleges, which, after two years of study, issue an associate’s degree comparable to the secondary specialized education of the Russian Federation.

Spacious dream apartment with two children’s rooms and three bathrooms – INMYROOM

Designers from INRE Design Studio designed a spacious apartment of 164 sq. m on the 21st floor of a new residential complex. The customers dreamed of a loft interior, but it was important to take into account the presence of two children. The authors of the project managed to find a balance between manufacturability, style and convenience for the whole family. We tell the details.

Tasks

The main request is to make the apartment comfortable for the whole family, and always keep the interests of children in the focus of attention. The project required author’s solutions and as a result became an ideal reflection of the interests of the family.

For example, for the customer, manufacturability was a priority, so the “smart home” system operates in the entire apartment. His wife, who works in the fashion industry, provided specific color schemes for each room. The result was a space designed for the whole family, where there was a place for joint leisure, study, and recreation.

Kitchen

We chose a laconic corner suite with plenty of storage space. A microwave oven is installed under the bar counter for the growth of children to teach them to be independent. A large dining table is a unifying area for the kitchen and living room.

Living room

The central living room is a favorite place of the hostess of the house, it is made in heavenly shades. A bright element of this zone is a large blue suede sofa and a Baxter pouffe. A turquoise rug connects everything in this space. The blue color is set off by white brick and gray graphite in the kitchen.

Bedroom

The spacious master bedroom is conditionally divided into three zones: a dressing room, a bed, an office with a “balcony” from where a panoramic view of the city opens.

Alcantara-wrapped two-level bedside panels create a floating effect. The facades of the cabinets are trimmed with light natural leather. The parquet board is made to order from two models. Carpet adds more color to the bedroom.

Additional comfort in the room is created by decorative lighting in the ceiling with the possibility of leaving a subdued light. Automatic blackout curtains and blinds can, if necessary, completely block daylight. The “niche” of the balcony becomes another seating area where you can admire the city from a height, sitting in easy chairs.

The bedroom bathroom is divided into a “dry” part and a SPA zone with a bathtub. On each wall there are MDF panels in white and gray-beige shades. Decorative lighting, copper-colored mirrors and a double sink are custom-made in the right size. Facades of the sink are trimmed with deep blue natural leather.

The author’s mosaic was used for facing in the bathroom. The main part of this area is a large bath with a shower set. To connect the bathroom with the bedroom, spotlights built into the floor are used.

Children’s rooms

In the children’s room for a boy and a girl, respectively, the designers designed their world with the interests of little owners in mind. One of the bedrooms has a climbing rope. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in both rooms add even more air and space.

There is a separate bathroom between the children’s rooms. All cabinet furniture, mirrors and mosaics were made to order. The sink of the original form is decorated with brass inserts. Under it, a step was built to match the color of the furniture, so that it was easy for children to wash their faces.

Guest bathroom

The guest bathroom is made in the same way as a laundry room with sliding partitions: appliances are neatly hidden and do not interfere with the view. Porcelain stoneware and vertical brass inlays are used to add vertical rhythm to the design.

Brands used in the project

Flooring: parquet, Finex
Doors: interior doors, Lualdi porte; fittings on the doors, Formani; interior door, Garofoli; sliding partitions, Rimadesio and Movi
Furniture: closet in the hallway, Alf DaFre; kitchen, MK Cucine; bar stools, Piet Boon; sofa, pouffe chair, coffee tables, all – Baxter; dining table chairs, Meridiani; desk chairs, Herman Miller
Plumbing: Graff and Bongio
Kitchen fixtures: DornBracht

GENESIS | Children’s Dream Center

We, Sergei and Konstantin, have been doing our favorite thing for many years – namely, teaching children martial arts.

During our coaching activities, we have seen that, in general, children over 6 years of age are involved in sports activities. Younger children, despite the great desire of their parents, are not involved in the physical education process.

We believe that the best option for their development would be to organize Gadget-free classes (as far as possible) in combination with a balanced mental, creative and physical activity necessary for a given age.

So we came up with the idea of creating the Genesis Early Childhood and Sports Kindergarten for kids 6 and under, which we love and we hope you will too!

The goal of our program is to develop a child’s interest in learning, activity, curiosity, his openness to interact with the outside world. The training program is based on the “Child” program using author’s developments and the best practices of world methods. The program is designed taking into account the age capabilities of children and includes the following classes:

  • Cognitive development

  • Development of speech

  • Sensory Therapy

Where did David Copperfield go: where does the illusionist live and what is he doing now? Of course, Copperfield is not a real surname. Her aspiring magician borrowed from Dickens.

In fact, the artist’s name is David Seth Kotkin. He was born in the USA, he was fond of tricks as a child. The hobby absorbed the boy so much that at the age of 12 he was accepted into the community of magicians based in the USA, writes kleo.ru.

In the seventies, he distinguished himself as an actor. David starred in a musical about a wizard. Because of the theater, he had to leave the university, but this did not affect David’s career in any way. He went to television. The young man released a show called “The Magic of David Copperfield.”

Later, fame at the level of his own country was not enough for him. The ambitions of the young man turned out to be great, and he began to create illusions that amazed ordinary people with the scale of what was happening. With his light hand, planes, cars and even the Statue of Liberty “disappeared”. He “flyed” over the Grand Canyon and “passed” through the Great Wall of China. nine0003

An incredible team has been put together by David. To bring these tricks to life, he needed 300 assistants. Of these, 80 had an engineering education.

In the 90s, Copperfield got into the Guinness Book of Records. He did 50 shows a month. Such efficiency and incredible popularity made him the richest illusionist in the world.

An affair with a famous supermodel played a significant role in the promotion 90’s by Claudia Slate. They often appeared in public, hugged and gave the impression of a couple. Only many years later it became known – it was a contract concluded with the model specifically to increase public interest. In the late 90s, David’s tricks began to be exposed one by one. The halo of the almighty magician and wizard disappeared, and Copperfield’s popularity plummeted.

Mass media wrote about him only in 2016, when one of the 13 spectators who took part in his show remembered that during one performance he badly injured his leg. During the proceedings, the illusionist had to reveal absolutely all the subtleties of this trick. nine0003

The illusionist is not sitting without money now. He proved to be financially literate. The artist understood that at some point it would cease to generate income. Therefore, at the peak of his popularity, he actively bought luxury real estate, antiques, and even entire islands.

Posted by David Copperfield (@d_copperfield)

A significant portion of his income today comes from renting apartments on tropical islands. Copperfield also publishes books in which he talks about many of the pitfalls of his profession. Those who are interested in this topic can visit the Museum of Illusions, founded by David himself. nine0003

The magician’s personal life is a mystery with seven seals. Some time ago, there were rumors that he was dating a model 30 years younger than him. Journalists wrote that the couple had a daughter. Now the girl is already 10 years old, but the illusionist has not officially confirmed or denied this information.

Sometimes the magician appears on American television, but most of the time he lives in seclusion on his own island in the Bahamas. Returning on business to New York, he lives in a 4-story penthouse. nine0003

The whole world watched them

If you ask your parents which couple was the most beautiful at 19The 90s, many of them will surely remember Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield. In those years, they could regularly be seen not only in reports on the red carpet of various awards, but also in the Copperfield show, where Schiffer acted as his assistant. The most famous illusionist in the world sawed and forced one of the most beautiful women in the world to levitate, and everyone wanted to watch this show. Many media throughout the six years of their relationship wrote that the novel was contractual – Claudia Schiffer even sued one publication. And she won by proving that, unlike the stunts on the show, their feelings are real. nine0003

They met in 1993 in Berlin, when Schiffer was 23 and Copperfield was 37 in January. they were already engaged. He went with her to Fashion Week, and she participated in his performances – they simply did not have other ways to see each other more often, as they later admitted. Busy schedules and career ambitions subsequently led to their divorce at 19.99th. Even years later, they had to answer questions about their breakup – in 2005, Copperfield said that they were still friends, and Schiffer always, mentioning Copperfield, called him one of the main people in her life and her first love. Their photos will tell not only about their relationship, but also about Schiffer’s love for Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel, mini and successful double dressing with a man who always wears black.

The cup is an English unit of volume, most commonly associated with cooking and serving sizes. It is traditionally equal to half a liquid pint in either US customary units or the British imperial system but is now separately defined in terms of the metric system at values between 1⁄5 and 1⁄4 of a liter. Because actual drinking cups may differ greatly from the size of this unit, standard measuring cups are usually used instead. In the United States, the customary cup is half of a liquid pint or 8 U.S. customary fluid ounces. One customary cup is equal to 236.5882365 millilitres.

The Basics

The Mommy or Daddy baby shower game is simple in concept. Your party guests (women or men) will receive a series of questions about which parent is more likely to do certain things after the baby is born – from ideas like who will change the most diapers to which parent will be the helicopter parent. The guests get to cast their vote on who they think is most likely to do the activity in the question.

Think of the game like a fun survey that you can look back on later to see how everyone’s predictions came through. Since there aren’t any right or wrong answers, there isn’t a winner – but you and your guests can get a laugh out of the results.

Why Choose This Game

Since there isn’t a winner, you don’t have to worry about things getting competitive. Everyone can just relax and have fun! There also isn’t a lot of prep work, so you can quickly put it together if your baby shower is fast approaching. And It can also be ended at any point by just not asking any more questions.

This game is also excellent because it’s versatile. You can play it in person or over video chat, too, making it an excellent fit for a virtual baby shower!

Play as a Virtual Baby Shower Game

Playing the Mom vs. Dad baby shower game virtually is simple, making it an excellent contender for a video chat hosted baby showers. You can either print the quiz sheets out in advance to mail to guests or email a file that they can print out on their own.

Even with COVID-19 happening, you can still play this great game with a little bit of planning. WebBabyShower can help you get ready to have a fantastic virtual baby shower experience!

How to Play

Playing this game is simple and can be done at any time during a baby shower.

Just follow these steps!

Step 1

Setting up the game starts by prepping a quiz sheet to give to guests. This sheet has the list of questions about the parents to be. There will also be an indicator of both mommy and daddy next to each item. This can be either the names, icons (lips and mustache, for example), or whatever represents the parents. If you make your own question sheets, this can be as creative as you like!

Step 2

You can start playing by passing out the quiz sheet to guests, whether that’s mailing a sheet to them in advance or linking everyone to a virtual copy of the sheet. Everyone will have time to answer whether they think mommy or daddy will be more likely to do the tasks on the sheet.

Step 3

Once everyone’s filled out their sheets, it’s time to check the answers. The mom and dad can come forward with props that match their icons on the sheet or fill out an answer sheet in advance.

Step 4

Someone can serve as the host, reading each question out loud. The parents to be will then raise their props to give their answers to the players. Feel free to have fun with this part! Let the guests talk about their answers and why they think Mommy or Daddy is more likely to take over the task.

Step 5

Each guest is responsible for checking over their sheet, or players can trade with each other to check answers. While there isn’t necessarily a winner to the game, feel free to collect the surveys afterward to remember the game.

Games for dad with a child. What games can father play with the child

Does your father help you play with the child? Our dad yes, but for many moms, this is a problem. Especially if the child is still very young. We have compiled a selection of games that will help dads spend time with their children with interest.

Many mothers want to involve dads in games and activities with their babies. Dads often refuse because they don’t know how and what to play with the baby. After all, it’s scary to touch it, so as not to break something by accident. And here mom should come to the rescue, offer options for the first games, and then step aside, observe and enjoy the result. Without interfering! Dad, having received a charge of positive emotions and realizing that it is not difficult and not scary, will strive to spend more time with the child. And later he will learn to come up with various options for games.

The first games for babies up to a year are the same for both dad and mom.

We have already described many of them in the article Games with children from birth to six months.

The most popular of them are:

playing peek-a-boo and hide-and-seek;

high-low – this is where daddy’s strength comes in handy;

first “conversation”.
Since many dads are still children themselves, they are drawn into “conversations” with babies. The child makes sounds – the father repeats, the child reacts and gives out a new sentence, and the father repeats again. It’s fun to watch conversations like this!

Horse game.
Sooner or later, every dad becomes a horse for a child 🙂 Pilot or airplane – dad lifts the child high above his head and carries around the apartment, and the child depicts an airplane.

viewing and “reading” books.
Of course, dad is not interested in talking about the kolobok, the ryaba hen, or as the dog and the cat say. Make a selection of books that will be of interest to dads – cars, transport, equipment, tools.

Active games with dad are suitable for children from one year and older.

construction – it will obviously be more interesting for dad than mom.

You can assemble a pyramid, build towers from cubes, build castles, labyrinths or a dollhouse from a designer. The main thing is not to forget to tell dad that until a certain age it is more interesting for a child to destroy than to build. Then dad will not be upset that his beautiful castle is destroyed while not yet completed!

cars – most grown men love them. Invite dad to play cars with a child – you can learn to count, study colors on cars, talk about the structure of a car, and even arrange races. Radio-controlled cars and helicopters are generally a separate issue. What dad doesn’t dream of a radio-controlled helicopter?

A child can play outdoor and active games with dad.

offer a tug of war

organize a kid’s soccer game in the hallway or outside

offer any of the ball games from our selection of Ball games for kids

take some empty plastic bottles and a ball and have a bowling competition.

all sorts of neck-butting, butting, chasing and hide-and-seek also bring a lot of pleasure to both the child and the father.

dad can teach a child to ride a bike, rollerblade or scooter;

play badminton and tennis;

In the evening, offer to play board games, checkers or chess according to the child’s age.

Children from 1.5-2 years old will be happy to play with their dad in the labyrinth or treasure hunt.

“who is faster” is another universal game.
Who will get dressed faster, who will quickly run to the bathroom to brush their teeth, who will fasten their jacket faster.

From personal experience – do not play this game with the theme of Who will eat faster.

Firstly, there is no need to rush to eat, the child may choke.

Secondly, the child may become malnourished, saying that he has already eaten in order to “finish” eating before dad.

As you can see, for most games with a child, dad does not need special knowledge and skills. You can play anytime and anywhere – the main thing is the desire to spend more time with your child. And this desire is instilled in dad by mom!

We have already written about the role of the father in the life of the child and the need to participate in it in the article: 6 childcare responsibilities that can and should be entrusted to the father! We highly recommend reading!

Games with dad are the brightest and most memorable for a child, and the most important thing in this process is that both the child and dad should have fun!

8 games of three minutes for a busy dad. Games for 3-8 year olds

It’s a long weekend ahead and you’re sure to get a chance to finally play with your 3, 5 or 8 year old. What? Have you forgotten how it’s done? No ideas in your head? Then take advice from the book “The Best Dad” by Toshimasa Oota. Choose to play words or turn into a horse, arrange a sword fight or knit sea knots.

One of daddy’s roles is playmate. Compared to monotonous and not very fun activities like cooking or changing diapers, the role of a playmate is much more exciting.

The child cannot prepare food and even eat on his own, he needs help. But without a partner for games, at first glance, he may well do. But from the point of view of upbringing and education, participation in the game is much more important than taking care of the daily needs of the child.

Children themselves invent games in which their momentary needs are manifested. The child intuitively feels what qualities he lacks. By joining the game that the child himself started, you can contribute to his development as much as possible.

The best assistant in spontaneous games is nature. If you go with a child to the sea or to the forest, he himself will come up with one entertainment after another, gradually developing. And then any insect that you can chase all day long will become an excellent partner for games.

In those families where order is above all else, where this and that is impossible, it is difficult for children to show unexpected abilities and creativity. It is not surprising that in such an environment, the child is involuntarily drawn into the virtual space of game consoles. After all, in such a game you can jump and run, destroy and make a mess.

Games with dad: 9 ideas for child development

And here is dad’s way out. By having the father react or join in the child’s play, spontaneity and creativity can be developed.

Just as children’s blocks can transform into a medieval castle or a car, so can dad himself change. Sometimes he becomes a partner in a word game, sometimes he can jokingly fight with you, sometimes he plays a horse. In other words, dad himself becomes a toy. It is also worth thinking carefully about how many objects around you can turn into toys.

You have a newspaper at hand – great, we will come up with a variety of games with it. You can crumple up the newspaper and throw the resulting ball. If the child is now studying the alphabet, then you can arrange a competition, who will find more in the text, for example, the syllables “KA”.

Do you have a rope? You can use it as a skipping rope, you can play train by holding onto the rope one after another. You can tie sea knots and play pirates by unraveling them.

Do kids like gadgets? Great! With the help of modern technology, iPad and Kindle, you can come up with different entertainment. But just avoid using special applications for children, this will be a violation of the rule. Choose only basic applications.

For example, use the Flashlight app to light up a wall and play shadow play. You can use the whiteboard app and draw. Dad will depict a labyrinth on the screen, and the child will have to go through it.

You can ask your child to silently count to ten, and use the Stopwatch app to check the accuracy of the count. Using the voice-recognizing Siri app on iPhone, you can ask your child to say the learned English words and check if they are recognizable.

I appeal to those dads who are not very active in everyday life. If you make it a habit to move vigorously with your child for at least three minutes a day, you will soon feel the result.

And what about the child! If for three minutes a day you are busy playing a lively game, it is impossible to even estimate how much this will affect his development.

Mom is a child care professional and you must become a play professional. When your wife says with admiration: “I definitely would not have thought of that,” you will be recognized as a true parenting professional.

8 3 minute games

Next, I will introduce you to some simple games that are easy to play at home.

Sword fight from newspapers. What could be easier! Roll up the newspaper and arrange a fight with paper swords. The simplest game that we all once played, but which is often forgotten. Maybe mom won’t be happy. But this game will help develop observation, reaction speed, as well as the skill of active play with any objects.

Labyrinth with closed eyes. Blindfold with a towel and play. Let the living room be the start, and the task is to get to the bathroom. In this way, we can develop the skill of orientation in space when we are looking for something in the dark. In a house familiar as five fingers, you will stumble on the sofa and stumble against the door. But in order to protect the child from danger, dad must protect him from collisions.

Get on dad’s shoulders. Climbing trees is good, but climbing on dad is just as good. The father must take a stance on bent legs. The child climbs onto the father and must reach the shoulders in order to sit on them. This game trains muscles and a sense of balance.

Guess by gestures. Dad and child should draw something in turn and guess what it was. When the child’s turn comes, gesticulation develops. When dad demonstrates something, it helps to increase the vocabulary of the child.

Drawing quiz. Dad draws any picture, such as an animal or a cartoon character. Then you show this picture to the child, offering to guess what is drawn. If dad draws well, then it will not be so interesting to play. But if dad draws badly, then the child will surely like that dad can’t do everything either. You can even play along a little.

Picture book. Invite the child to draw what he likes, and use this picture to make up a story. For example, what really happened on the street while walking in the park or a fantasy story about the country of sweets.
