We are sharing information with you about our participation in a program that helps us test for lead in the drinking water at our centers. This program is provided by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s (TCEQ) Lead Testing in School and Child Care Program (LTSCC). It is a voluntary statewide program that offers free training and guidance on how to reduce exposure to lead in drinking water where children are cared for. Financial support is made possible by the TCEQ and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
We anticipate collecting drinking water samples within the next 45 days.
Activities will include: Identifying outlets used for drinking and food preparation, collecting water samples at those outlets, analyzing collected samples using an accredited drinking water laboratory, reviewing results and taking action to reduce exposure to lead, as needed, communicating the results to our community, and, continuing to work on reducing any potential lead exposure at our facility.
Lead is a heavy metal, and some drinking water pipes, tapss, solder, and other plumbing materials contain lead. For more information about the sources of lead and health effects of lead, please visit the EPA’s “Basic Information about Lead in Drinking Water” webpage here.
Results will be available on TCEQ’s LTSCC Program webpage at texasleadtesting.org
For more information about the LTSCC Program, you can visit the program webpage, email [email protected], or call the helpline at (737) 276-1987.

We get it. Childcare can be expensive. In fact, infant care in Texas costs 7.8% more per year than in-state tuition for a four-year public college. 🤯

Technology in the Classroom – Triad Moms on Main
By Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies of Greensboro
At Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies of Greensboro, we recognize the importance of incorporating technology into the classroom. Our state of the art technology department is the perfect way to get children acclimated to the world of computers and learn the skills needed for Kindergarten readiness! Furthermore, students 3 and 4 years old receive their very own account with ABCMouse, an interactive early learning website, to continue learning at school and at home!
Through our partnership with ABCMouse, our curriculum includes hundreds of computer-based interactive activities that children love and which also provide opportunities for parents to be actively involved in their child’s learning. These activities include games, songs, books, and more, all of which have many academic and developmental benefits for young children.
This early learning website is designed for kids ages 2 to 6 and includes more than 3,000 interactive learning activities covering the basics of reading, math, science and social studies. For example, themed environments such as the Classroom, The Zoo and The Farm and a reward system helps kids develop math skills with a virtual shopping experience in a fun learning environment. The best part is your child can access the website anywhere at anytime!
We believe technology has the ability to enrich a child’s life when used as an additional learning tool and is not intended to replace traditional play or an existing school curriculum. Additionally, the use of technology in the home can be an advantage to a child if educators can more easily communicate a child’s learning goals so that a parent can reinforce what is being taught in school. Nurse educator job outlook
The overall employment of nurse educators is expected to grow 22% from 2020-2030, much faster than other occupations according to the BLS. The projected increase in nurse educator jobs is believed to be due in part to an aging population that is living longer and thus has a greater need for nursing care.
What do nurse educators do?
Nurse educators teach and train students in nursing school to help them prepare to become nurses. They are often instructors for clinical professionals who need continuing education or training. Nurse educators may hold a variety of positions with varied titles such as professor, director, or faculty member. As an instructor, they design educational programs and curriculum to help ensure courses meet the state accreditation requirements, overseeing lab and clinical work, and providing feedback as students interact with patients. Certified Nurse Educator Salary Guide
Home » Nurse Educator » Salary
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) says certified nurse educators (CNEs) earn a median annual salary of $77,440 for roles that include training in clinical practice, classroom instruction at community colleges and universities, or executive oversight of academic nursing programs and faculty.
If you are thinking about a career as a nurse educator, now is a good time to consider your options. A current shortage of nurse educators is expected to fuel job growth of 21 percent through 2031, considerably above the 5 percent forecast for all occupations.
In This Article
Median Salary | Demand for Nurse Educators | Salary by Location | Pay and Workplace | Advancing Your Career
The BLS classifies nurse educators who teach at colleges, medical and surgical hospitals, and technical, trade, and business schools as “postsecondary nursing instructors and teachers”—and “there are simply not enough of them to meet the nation’s needs,” says Beverly Malone, PhD, RN, FAAN, president and CEO of the National League for Nursing (NLN).
In a recent survey of nursing schools by the NLN, 74 percent of respondents indicated they had difficulty filling faculty positions, and many remained unfilled.
U.S. nursing schools turned away more than 91,000 qualified applicants to undergraduate and graduate programs in 2021.
According to Robert Rosseter, chief communications officer for the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, U.S. nursing schools turned away more than 91,938 qualified applicants to undergraduate and graduate programs in 2021, and most indicated that faculty shortages were a top reason.
All of which means that if you want to be a nurse educator, the odds are in your favor.

Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) 2021 median salary; projected job growth through 2031. Actual salaries vary depending on location, level of education, years of experience, work environment, and other factors. Salaries may differ even more for those who are self-employed or work part time.
The BLS says salaries can range widely, depending on factors such as:
Your education
Your experience
Where you live
Where you work
The dean of a nursing school at a highly regarded university located in a major metro area, who likely has a doctorate, may earn a salary at the top range of the pay scale, while an instructor at a community college may earn less.
Salary Comparison: Nurse Educator vs Careers that Require Postgraduate Education
Here’s a look at how the average salary for a nurse educator compares with pay for nursing positions that require either a master’s or a doctorate.
Demand for Nurse Educators
In addition to the shortage of teachers, there are two other important factors driving the forecast of 21 percent job growth:
Teacher retirements
According to the NLN, 70 percent of full-time nurse educators are over the age of 45, and a significant number are nearing retirement age. This is expected to create even more vacancies at colleges and universities.
Nurse shortage
By 2024, the U.S. is expected to face a shortage of nearly one million nurses, “from entry-level RNs to the most senior and experienced nursing specialists,” says Joseph Dunmire, a board member of the National Association of Healthcare Recruitment. “Finding nurses to fill all of those roles will be problematic. ”
To minimize this shortage, more nurse educators will be needed to teach, inspire, and mentor the next generation of nurses.
Competition for Jobs
The demand for nurse educators may be high, but there could be some competition for jobs because employers tend to look for the best and most qualified candidates.
Donna R. Swope, MS, RN, an adjunct professor of nursing at Stevenson University, says that taking the follow steps can make you a stronger nurse educator when you graduate and enhance your resume:
If you are on an educator track, stay in clinical nursing to graduate with the latest knowledge of clinical trends.
To practice your teaching skills, take every opportunity to work with nursing students at any level. For example: Accept a student to work with you when you are the primary nurse, or serve as a preceptor for seniors in their final clinical practicum or for new hires.
To gain experience working on policy issues, become a member of the professional nursing organization for your specialty and work to help frame policies to enhance patient care and influence cultural attitudes toward students and new nurses.
“Honestly, the core of all this is that we want educators who, while still in their clinical role, light up at the prospect of working with students,” Swope says. “It can’t be just that someone can deliver compelling class content, although of course we want that, too.”
Location, Location, Location
Another factor to consider is geographic location. If moving is an option, consider cities where jobs are more plentiful. This may increase your chances of landing your dream teaching position—and increasing your salary.

Sisters of St. Joseph – Women’s – Institutes of Consecrated Life – Diocese – Roman Catholic Diocese of the Transfiguration in Novosibirsk
Founder: Fr. Kirill Seletsky
Date and place of foundation: 1898, p. Tseblovo (Western Ukraine)
Motto/slogan: Love, serve, glorify
Date of arrival in the Preobrazhensky Diocese: 2003 – Prokopyevsk
Currently, the Congregation works in Greek Catholic parishes in Ukraine. The sisters also have homes in Poland (catechesis), Brazil (homes for orphans), Canada (kindergarten) and Russia (Prokopievsk – parish work).
In 2001, Pope John Paul II proclaimed the two sisters of St. Joseph Blessed Martyrs S. Olympia Beda and S. Lavrentiya Gerasimov.
The main house of the Congregation is located in Lvov (Ukraine).
History
The Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph was founded in 1898 by Rev. Cyril Seletsky in the village. Tseblove, Lviv region (Western Ukraine).
In 1906 Fr Kirill bought a plot of land and built a house for the sisters and orphans, who were cared for by the first sisters. Over time, the Congregation began to grow, the sisters opened more and more new houses, and each house had a kindergarten. Every Sunday, the sisters read a Bible story or something educational to the parishioners, because most of the ordinary people were illiterate. The sisters taught young girls needlework and housekeeping. For the sick, they collected medicinal herbs, cared for and assisted them.
In 1921, the Redemptorist Fathers from Belgium took over the spiritual leadership of the Congregation, among them Father Joseph Schreivers.
The first chief abbess was the village of Varvara Shapka. In the 1930s and 1940s, the Congregation already had 30 houses, in which 180 sisters worked.
The advent of Soviet power stopped the development of the Congregation. Most of the houses were closed, many sisters were exiled to Siberia. The sisters who remained in Ukraine actively supported the activities of the Catacomb Church. In difficult conditions, they continued to educate youth and children in a Christian spirit. Small communities of sisters were the center of spiritual life for many people. Priests always came there, and the sisters gladly received them, although they knew that they might suffer for this.
After the declaration of Ukraine as an independent state and the exit of the Greek Catholic Church from the catacombs, the sisters in Ukraine can openly engage in catechesis in schools, work at the archcathedral of St. George, lead a kindergarten and elementary school, take care of the elderly.
Charisma
Sisters take special care of the most defenseless members of society – children, the sick and the elderly.
Following the example of their patron saint, Joseph, the Betrothed of the Blessed Virgin Mary, they build their lives around serving Christ and the Virgin Mary. The sisters recognize Christ in a neighbor who needs food, clothing, care, guardianship, education, treatment or care.
Activities in Siberia
The first sisters of St. Joseph ended up in Siberia against their will. In 1950 they were arrested by the MGB and sent into indefinite exile. Sisters Olympia and Lavrentia could have avoided exile at the cost of renouncing their monastic calling, but they chose the path of loyalty to Christ and the Church. The place of their settlement was the village of Kharsk, Molchanovsky district, Tomsk region. Overwork, difficult climatic conditions, illness and lack of medical care soon took their toll: Sister Olympia passed away to the Lord on January 23, 1952, at the age of 49, and in August of the same year, at the age of 40, her sister Lavrentia followed her.
On June 27, 2001, Pope John Paul II, during his apostolic visit to Ukraine, beatified them along with other Catholic martyrs and confessors of the Soviet era. In September 2005, the uncovering of the relics of the martyrs took place: their remains were exhumed at an abandoned cemetery in Kharsk and transported to Lvov. Particles of the holy relics, at the request of His Grace Bishop Joseph Werth, were transferred to the Diocese of the Transfiguration for public veneration. Since then, the Transfiguration diocese has annually made a pilgrimage to the burial place of Bl. Olympia and Lawrence.
In 2003 the sisters came to Prokopyevsk. They assist priests in parish work and in the maintenance of pastoral stations.

The beginning of the 21st century is the “Renaissance period” in the use of wood as a material for the manufacture of durable products. In my opinion, this is due to three main factors:
the development of technologies, thanks to which wood has acquired new properties, which has dramatically expanded the range of its application;
awareness of the importance of the climate-regulating role of wood, which sequesters carbon for a long time;
a person’s desire to green his life, which manifests itself in the preference to use products made from natural materials that do not harm health, last a long time, and are disposed of quickly and naturally
Governments in many countries are pushing businesses to scale up the use of wood in the manufacture of durable products, primarily related to the creation and arrangement of residential space. At the same time, various tools and methods of influence are used, one of which is the holding of regular competitions and economic encouragement of new ideas and initiatives.
On the last day of February of this year, the 10th competition for the best timber building award was held in Bavaria. The competition is held every four years. Its founders are the Ministry of Forestry, the State Advisory Council for the Forestry Sector and the Association of the Forestry and Wood Industry of Bavaria, joined by the Bavarian Chambers of Engineers and Architects.
The Minister of Forestry of Bavaria, Mikael Kaniber, presented six awards to the authors of the best wooden structures created in recent years. In his speech, he emphasized that wood is an environmentally friendly building material with excellent properties, which is already popular now, more than ever, and every year it becomes more and more in demand. A cubic meter of wood binds a ton of carbon during the growth of trees, and then when using manufactured structures and products. Their widespread use, in turn, allows saving non-renewable resources, the extraction and use of which are associated with carbon emissions into the atmosphere. The minister emphasized that the breakthrough in the use of digital technologies in the production of wood structures provides great savings and expands the possibilities of using wood in construction.
More than 200 works have been submitted for the competition. Four of them received the main prizes of 1500 euros each, 2 special prizes of 1000 euros. Seven more were awarded diplomas.
Below are photos of the designs that won the competition.

FAQs
AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Reynoldsburg KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
“
I absolutely love my children’s KinderCare! They are so much more than a ‘daycare.’ The Director, Management Staff and Teachers are part of my family now. They are so interested in our children’s development and care deeply for my children.
KinderCare was our children’s first ‘daycare’ and of course we were nervous at first, as were the kids. That was two years ago. Now, the kids wake up each morning asking if it is a school day! They are excited to go to KinderCare and are excited to come home and tell us EVERYTHING they learned that day.
My son and daughter are both signed up for the Learning Adventures programs and they are excelling in their school work. My son went to Kindergarten reading!!!
Thank you KinderCare Bartlett Road fo taking such wonderful care of my children while I am at work.

Currently there seems to be a lot of issues that has risen due to the COVID pandemic such as a shortage of teachers as well as the lack of resource. Although there are little variety in the sports and clubs at Masterman, club are fairly easy to startup if you were passionate about something. Senior: Newark Charter School is a great school. They have great academics as they have great teachers and great variety of courses to take. The school is also very diverse in both their student and teacher body. The school also provides a variety of clubs and activities and even if your club isn’t there, you can create one and start leading it. Our sports are also good, but we aren’t as competitive versus other schools around us. One thing I would improve is our involvement in sports as they should be more competitive and build facilities to help our athletes. The food that they provide here isn’t good even though it is free, the school needs to find a different alternative that tastes better and that is actually edible even if it means charging for it…. Middle School Student: I am currently in middle school at SCSC and I would consider it a second home. I believe the learning process is fit and customized to the student so that the student personally can grow as an individual in all kinds of aspects. The teachers and students are all very welcoming the moment you walk in. SCSC is not like other schools. I feel the diversity at this school is excellent. One thing that makes my school so unique is a little thing we call “100 Book Challenge”. Each school day we read 30 minutes of a book of our choice that is our level. Based on the student’s reading ability, we are matched with a level. We log a line every 15 minutes we read. The point of this is that if you reach a multiple of 100, you get awarded a medal and recognition of the entire school. I have not even scratched the surface of what makes my school unique and extraordinary compared to others, but I’m running out of room to write. Middle School Student: I had a bit of a hard time throughout middle school, but I really enjoyed the theater and chorus programmes. There are some great teachers! I loved how Welsh Valley offered Artifacts, Waterbound, and ViewPoints to kids who learn better with experience. The library is very nice too! Having a time at the end of the day to do homework is very useful. One thing to be aware of is the fact that there are a lot of children who are depressed and it can get kinda stressful, as someone who had a friend who needed a lot of help. Also, there sometimes is an issue with bullying, but overall, Welsh Valley is a good school with great teachers!… Read 9 reviews

Freshman: I personally loved my time at SHMS. The school provides lots of opportunities for its students: the variety of extracurriculars there are second to none, the music program is strong, and participation in athletics is high. One thing I will say is that while the students there are not explicitly judgemental, cliques are very much a thing and it can be difficult to branch out to other friend groups once your ¨crowd¨ has been established. I’m not a student of color or of the LGBTQ community, and I was one of the generic music/athletics/serious-about-academics kid, but from what I understand from some of my friends, if you don’t fit that description, attending SHMS can be tough. But overall, I loved my time there, and the environment, though predominantly white and upper-middle-class, is civic-minded and supportive…. Read 11 reviews

Senior: I love the academic opportunities at Conrad! The specialized, STEM-based career pathways have given me an advantage going into college, supplying me with knowledge and experience on subjects that are not available at other schools in our district. It is a very tight-knit community, and very supportive, as there are always teachers and administrators around to help you with whatever questions or issues you have. Middle School Student: Overall it’s a very good school! There are lots of opportunities for us students to grow in academics, sports, music, etc. . Everything is up to date in new including our laptops, textbooks, and even the interior/exterior of the school. Most if not all of the teachers are extremely knowledgeable about what they teach and are always looking out for the students best interest. Overall tohickon is a good place to spend your middle school years, even if it’s a complicated time. They do a good job of preparing us for what is to come as we continue our education. One thing I wouldn’t mind having changed is the lack of clubs it offers. Although there are clubs they don’t seem to be taken very seriously which makes it difficult for students to want to join…. My son is so excited to go in after school, and happy when he is done. It has boost up his confidence in just the first week. I can’t wait to see what this does to his grades. I can feel that he knows this is for him, and how important it is. I am glad I signed him up before middle school, when he needs that confidence and independence the most.

Each child is taught in their own way. The instructors are encouraging and they care about each child. more about the Chester University
Chester University was founded as a Chester diocesan training college in 1839 by an outstanding group of local figures of the Anglican Church, including future premieres William Ewart Gladstone and 14th Earl of Derby. It was the first purpose-built teachers’ college in the UK, making it one of the oldest higher education institutions in the UK. At 19In 21, Chester officially became an affiliated college of the University of Liverpool, which meant that the University of Liverpool awarded qualifications to graduates of the University of Chester, and students of the latter could use the educational facilities of the University of Liverpool.
In the early 1990s, the School of Nursing and Midwifery (now the Faculty of Health and Social Care) was founded, the Bachelor of Theology, Master’s and PhD programs began to be offered, and a £10 million campus renovation program began. nine0005
Due to its long association with the University of Liverpool, the University of Chester continued to award University of Liverpool degrees until the 2005 admissions.
In 2005, University College Chester received full university status and became the University of Chester. This was followed by the right to award one’s own degrees in 2007 already validated by the University of Chester by the University of Liverpool.
In 2010, the Center for Work Related Research (CWRS) was praised by the UK Quality Authority for its radically flexible and high-quality practice-based learning system – allowing students to tailor their specialization, learn by doing. The rapid accreditation of commercial training was also noted. nine0005
In recent years the university has expanded, taking over many temporarily unused buildings in Chester and building many student apartments.
In 2014, Loyd Grossman, who received an honorary degree from the university, officially opened the Northwest Food Research Center (NoWFOOD).

The campus has a fitness center, gym, swimming pool, science and language labs, bar, bookstore, and bank. nine0005
Some departments are within walking distance of the main campus.
In 2015, the university purchased the former main building of Lloyds Bank in Queen’s Park. It houses the Faculty of Business and Management and the School of Business. The university has modernized equipment at Bridge House and Churchill House, and 2,700 students study here.
The Warrington Campus includes the Northwest Media Center, which has close ties to Granada Television, the Warrington School of Management, Social Sciences and Health and Welfare. The Warrington campus is also the training ground for the Warrington Wolves rugby league team and the city of Warrington was the site of the 2013 Rugby League World Cup where the campus hosted players from Samoa. nine0005
