“Children give us an inexhaustible supply of love, tenderness and strength”: an interview with the head
Edition : Good afternoon, Irina Vladimirovna! Traditionally, the first question is about your work activity. How did you get into the field of early childhood education?
Irina Vladimirovna: I have been working in the system of preschool education for almost 38 years. Even in my youth, when I talked with preschoolers and saw their interested faces and children’s smiles, I realized that I want to teach children from a very early age to notice the beautiful, live in anticipation of a miracle, and be in the world of childhood every day.
After graduating from the Minsk Pedagogical College in 1980, I arrived in my hometown of Zhodino and started working in the newly built kindergarten No. 17, where I worked for 13 years in a wonderful team of like-minded teachers. She also entered the correspondence department of the Faculty of Preschool Education of the Minsk Pedagogical Institute named after M. Gorky. In 1993, I was offered to head a nursery garden, which was built by the BelAZ automobile plant.
Representing the enormous responsibility that has been entrusted to me, I decided for myself that I will try very hard to create a modern preschool education institution that is comfortable for children, employees and parents.
July 1, 2018 marks the 25th anniversary of my career as a manager. Today I can say with full confidence that my dreams, hopes and efforts have come true.
Ed.: Tell us more about your achievements, successes in your work?
I.V.: Today our nursery-kindergarten “Pavlinka” is an institution with its own traditions, developed image, created comfort for children; an institution demanded by the parents of pupils.
The motto of the employees of our institution is “We will take the palms of the child in our hands and open our hearts for him!”. If we describe our team, then the definitions “mutual understanding”, “mutual assistance”, “trust”, “creativity”, “responsibility”, “social skills”, “striving for development”, “philanthropy”, “purposefulness” are best suited. And the most important thing for me is that we are a stable united team consisting of experienced, qualified teachers.
The results of the work of the team are children who leave kindergarten well-mannered, prepared for schooling and always delight us with their successes and excellent feedback from teachers.
We are also proud of our high performance in the annual competitions among preschool educational institutions in Zhodino. From 2010 to 2017, we took first place three times and became winners of the city stage of the republican competition “The Best Preschool Institution of the Year”.
Rev.: How is the facility staffing? How is the work with young professionals structured?
IV: Our facility is 100% staffed. Over the years, we have developed a certain system of work with young teaching staff.
An important task for young specialists to work is to create conditions for easy adaptation of each teacher. First of all, we warmly welcome them in the team. At the first meeting of the pedagogical council, we introduce the staff, the traditions of the institution, its achievements and tasks for the new academic year.
A good tradition in the nursery-kindergarten has become “Initiation into teachers”. This event is held as part of the celebration of Teacher’s Day. Young colleagues receive parting words from their mentors, communicate with veterans of pedagogical work, and take an oath to be faithful to their chosen profession. The holiday is always warm and emotional.
The second step in adaptation is the organization of mentoring. A young specialist needs constant help and support from colleagues. An experienced, having 1 category, creatively working educator is assigned to each; an individual work plan is drawn up. In the work of mentors, we consider it important not to allow excessive guardianship, to provide greater independence to young teachers.
Ed.: What conditions do you create for the professional growth of young professionals who come to work in the nursery?
I.V.: We are well aware that the entire teaching staff of the nursery-kindergarten, and not just the tutors assigned to them, should take part in the professional development of young teachers. For this, the “School of a Young Teacher” was created, where we try to form creative potential in novice teachers, an understanding of the need for continuous self-education, constant improvement of professional competence.
Organized work contributes to the fact that in two years a young specialist “grows” into a young promising teacher who is familiar with all areas of pedagogical activity, who is able to analyze the development of his own skills, and is capable of realizing creative potential in pedagogical activity.
And, of course, the most important task is to secure a young specialist for further work in the first job.
I would like to note that many young specialists, having completed their term, remain in Zhodino and continue to work in our institution.
Ed.: How do you attract extrabudgetary funds to the institution?
I.V.: The work of the board of trustees in our kindergarten is not only an effective, legally competent tool for attracting extrabudgetary funds, but also the most convenient way to help our institution. The attraction and competent use of incoming funds by the board of trustees significantly expands the possibilities of an educational institution.
Thanks to purposeful work with parents, the developing subject-game environment is constantly updated and replenished. Furniture, games and toys are purchased for groups and equipment for sites. The main thing in this work is a systematic report on the use of incoming funds and a bright, colorful presentation to parents of the created environment for children. It is important that parents see and evaluate the result of invested funds.
In addition, the source of attracting extrabudgetary funds is the provision of paid educational services in excess of the basic component at the request of parents. In the pre-school education institution, choreography classes are organized, developing classes in preparation for school, hand weaving, which pupils attend with pleasure.
The “Mother’s School” and an adaptation group have been working in our institution for 7 years. Such groups of joint stay of parents and children precede the child’s admission to kindergarten, ensure painless adaptation to the institution of preschool education. The work of the “Mother School” is carried out in the triad “teacher – parent – child”. Parents are provided with the necessary psychological and pedagogical assistance.
Educators, music director, head of physical education, teacher-psychologist, teacher-defectologist work with children and parents. In addition, interested parents are given the opportunity to visit the pool in the “Mother and Child” group, whose work is aimed at strengthening the physical health of babies.
Taking into account that not all pre-school educational institutions of the city have swimming pools, weekend groups of health-improving orientation and swimming training are organized in the nursery-garden. Children from other kindergartens visit our swimming pool with great pleasure.
We also earn money in the process of jointly held campaigns with parents to collect waste paper and scrap metal. If possible, we attract the help of sponsors.
Ed.: Tell us about the projects that are being implemented in your institution?
I.V.: In 2017, our institution participated in the city project, organized jointly with health care representatives of the city of Zhodino “Health begins with a smile!”.
Also, over the course of 4 years, kindergarten students have been actively participating in the city television project “Sphere” in the program “Hello, doctor!”. The participants of the project are children of senior preschool age. They give interviews to correspondents, in which they express their knowledge and ideas at the level of preschool age about a healthy lifestyle, diseases of people, measures that need to be taken to exclude certain diseases.
Every year, pupils of the senior groups of the nursery-kindergarten take part in the competition of the institution “I am a researcher”. The winner of the competition participates in the city stage of the festival, which has been held for 4 years at the nursery-kindergarten No. 4 “Pavlinka”, and the winners of the festival represent our city at the regional festival “I am a researcher” in Minsk.
Also, to solve the annual task of the 2017/2018 academic year, group educational projects were implemented on the basics of life safety: “Beware of troubles while they are gone”, “We want to be friends with fire”, “Road alphabet”, “Safe home” and other projects in which children, teachers and parents took part.
Rev.: Tell us about the unusual situations that you encountered in a preschool?
I.V.: There were no serious non-standard situations during the period of my work. But, revealing trouble in the family and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of underage pupils, one has to visit families where various unpleasant situations can arise. Some parents believe that preschool education specialists have no right to interfere in their family life. However, the serious preventive work carried out by the institution, aimed at the rehabilitation of the family and the elimination of the causes of the socially dangerous situation, gives positive results.
Ed: Based on your experience, what advice would you give to aspiring preschool leaders?
I.V.: Each teacher creates and maintains his own image, and the formation of culture, the image of the entire institution of preschool education depends on the leader. The deeper you comprehend the science of management, the more questions you face, and, accordingly, the wider the range of their solutions.
I would very much like to wish novice leaders to perfectly comprehend this science of management. Cultivate the ability to make wise and non-standard decisions, the ability to organize yourself and the team, take care of people and business at the same time, be fair.
Always put yourself in the place of your employees, think about what you would like to receive from the manager. I believe that the work of a manager with employees should be built on trust and good relations, then there will be a positive result. You can’t count on easy and quick success. However, by creating a team of creative, purposeful, proactive, knowledgeable specialists, all the goals and objectives set will be successfully achieved.
Whatever you do, you must remember that our children must be at the head. Children give us an inexhaustible supply of love, tenderness and strength. They enrich our life with joy and fill it with bright hopes!
Ed.: Irina Vladimirovna, thank you for the informative interview!

Interview with Julianne Moore | OK-magazine.ru
At the age of 50, Julianne Moore not only manages to act in films and appear on almost all the covers of magazines, she also writes children’s books, based on which they stage musicals on Broadway, has been raising two children and for 15 years now lives in a happy marriage with her husband, director and screenwriter Bart Freundlich. It is a pleasure to interview this actress, because she is equally witty about anything, whether it is a relationship with her husband, the transitional age of her son, or . .. dishwashing detergent
In the romantic comedy It’s Stupid Love, which is released on September 22, Julianne Moore plays the wife of the protagonist (Steve Carell), who already at the beginning of the film confronts him with the fact that she cheated on him and wants a divorce. And the unfortunate husband, who has not been dating for 20 years, is trying to start a new life: he sits sadly in the evenings in a bar, hoping to meet someone. There he is found by the merry fellow Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling) and teaches him the rules of a free life. This leads to unexpected consequences … According to the actress herself, acting in “This – Stupid – Love” was a real pleasure, because it’s not often that you are offered a script for a really worthwhile comedy. nine0003
Julianne, many actresses complain in interviews that after 40 they have less work to do. You are filming all the time. What is your secret with Meryl Streep? I think I was just lucky, and I am terribly grateful for this fate. When I first started acting, I dreamed that it would always be like this, that the roles would find me on their own. And I’m glad that even now I don’t have to sit idle.
What got you interested in the movie “This Stupid Love”? I like films about relationships, about how important they are to us, and about how difficult it is sometimes to understand them … After all, this is what our life consists of. And by and large, if we think in terms of cinema, our life is more like a comedy than a tragedy or drama. When people have to go through hard times, they learn to look at everything with humor and find something bright even in the sad and difficult. In general, I think that the older you get, the less you are attracted to tragedy.
Why? Life is hard. It’s easy to see things in a tragic light when you’re 23, but in adulthood, people need something else: they want to laugh more, not cry. And this is how, with a smile, it is worth looking at this world. Although most of my 55 films are more like dramas, that doesn’t mean I don’t like comedies. I am glad that I periodically manage to act in them.
The main thing is that the comedies are good. Too many romantic comedies have become passing, don’t you think? nine0008 I don’t want to comment on this, but I think I agree. A good comedy is first of all a strong script, a story. And now it happens that they recruit a bunch of superstars for the roles, and their task is just to look good and fall in love with each other. This doesn’t work. All great romantic comedies like When Harry Met Sally, Tootsie are based on great stories.
Steve Carell doesn’t just play your husband in the film. He also acted as a producer. Did he have to persuade you to withdraw? nine0008 No, I just read the script and I liked it. Then we met at the Oscars: I announced the nominees and saw Steve backstage. He asked, “Did you read the script?” “Yeah, he’s great. ” We had a nice chat.
Is this how it happens behind the scenes at the Oscars? Well, yes, why not? Steve is an amazing actor, I’m a fan of his and it was a pleasure to work with him. By the way, and on the set, he did not disappoint me. We got along very well. You know, family is very important to me, and Steve is a family man. He constantly says phrases from the series “And my wife thinks …”. Not all men like to mention their wives! nine0003
According to the plot of the film, a 13-year-old boy, your son, falls in love with his nanny. Do you think feelings can be serious at this age? What were you like at 13? Oh, I moved so much as a child (the actress’s father was a military judge, and the family changed their place of residence 23 times. – Note OK! ), it’s hard to remember what happened to me at 13. ( Smiling .) I think I lived in Virginia and went to high school. 13 years is awesome! You fall in love all the time. Moreover, these emotions are as strong and real as in adulthood. Only when we grow up do we begin to think: “Well, great, I’m in love, but it’s all not serious, why do I need this?” And as a teenager, you perceive everything completely differently: “Yes, I am in love, and this is very serious, he is the one!” With age, this passes, but there is something very pure and important in these first feelings. And they should be given importance. nine0003
If you moved around so much, then surely you didn’t manage without loves and partings in adolescence? I had my first boyfriend in 5th grade, his name was Doug Mitchell, we were living in Alaska then, and he wrote me a wonderful letter with the signature “Your boyfriend” and all that. And then we moved – I didn’t even have time to tell him that we were leaving! Years later, he tracked me down: I mentioned him in an interview, someone told him… And he left a message at my agent’s office. We met. He already had a family and children, and I also, but the first thing he said at the meeting was: “I still didn’t understand where you went. You just disappeared!” nine0003
And yet you think that children’s love should be given importance. I think that you should listen to your children. Do not underestimate their feelings – what they care about, who they love, who they want to be friends with. They need to be guided, but you also need to listen to them.
You have two children. Yes, Caleb is thirteen, Liv is nine.
Who is more strict in the family – you or Bart? Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I am calm about the fact that children eat a lot of sweets and love chewing gum. “Well, it won’t kill you,” I say to Liv. And Bart thinks I’m too indulgent with the kids. But he allows his son to drive and does not force him to wear a helmet when he rides a motorcycle. “Come on, it’s not that important,” he says. So the children know exactly who to ask for sweets, and with whom to go skating. ( nine0040 Smiling .)
How are you going through the transitional age of your son? Not easy. .. This gap between 12 and 13 years is huge! Just now the son needed you, depended on you, and now he is independent. You look at him and you understand: “Wow, he has changed!” And with bated breath, you follow his life, because you can’t interfere, and you don’t want him to get hurt! I try not to be intrusive … True, my dad and I check his Facebook – logging in under a false name. Recently, someone wrote an indecent message on Caleb’s page, we asked our son to delete it, he was indignant: “How did you know ?!” – “Look!” Another option is for the nanny to “friend” him on Facebook. And then you can get all the news from her. We did just that. ( nine0040 Smiling slyly .)
Has Caleb ever confessed to you that he is in love? I’m afraid that parents in this regard are not at all interesting to children as interlocutors…
And what about your daughter? Are you close to her? Yes. She is 9, so we have a wonderful time for hugs, secrets, tenderness. It’s still possible with her. She recently got her ears pierced. We were all together in California, and dad and Caleb chose a movie in the cinema that it’s too early for my daughter to watch. She was upset. I suggested that she get her ears pierced while the men watch movies. When they left the hall, Liv met them in a new way. Everyone was amazed. nine0003
What do children say about your work? Are they on the set with you? They’ve been with me on the playground almost from infancy! For a long time, it seemed to them that their mother worked in a trailer. ( Laughs. ) “This is my mother’s office,” they said. Now they have grown up and come to the shooting to visit me. Both were delighted with Steve Carell, then told their friends that they met him. And they are also upset that I still have not played with Ryan Reynolds – they really like him. nine0003
Julianne, when you’re not filming, what is your life like? Total chaos! I lie on the floor with a bottle and say to myself: “I hate my life, I hate it. ”
Specify, a bottle of gin or vodka? Dishwashing detergents. In fact, my life outside of filming is quite eventful. I have a working husband and two children. We recently returned from Los Angeles, and there I spent most of the time, taking everyone to summer camps. A lot of energy is spent on solving problems with school, rest, in order to find a balance between career and home. So my free time is melting away very quickly. nine0003

Order No. 38393
Children must live in a world of beauty, play, fairy tales, music, drawing, fantasy, creativity.
V.A. Sukhomlinsky
These are the words I want to start talking about the Kindergarten of the future.
Kindergarten of the future, how do I see it?
This is a light and cozy house. This house has bright toys, interesting books, comfortable furniture, modern equipment. And most importantly, kids come to this house every morning to spend a joyful and fruitful day, play and chat with friends and adults, learn something new and interesting. The kindergarten of the future is a second home, a child’s family, a fairy tale…
And children in the Kindergarten of the Future are met not by random and indifferent people, but by educators and teachers who live in the interests of children, in love with their work. “Work is the best way to enjoy life,” I. Kant argued. And I share his point of view. The teacher is a guide, a link between the child and the outside world. The teacher should help each child find their place in life. Teachers of preschool institutions are competent highly qualified specialists who keep up with the times and love children, treat each child with attention, provide an opportunity for kids to realize themselves, based on their interests, needs and inclinations. These are erudite specialists mastering new technologies, innovative forms of work. These are creative people who share experience, knowledge and skills with children in the game, give freedom, encourage initiative and direct their skills to reveal the child, to develop his personality. In the Kindergarten of the Future, educators and teachers, along with high and new technologies, use traditional folk pedagogy. All children love fairy tales. A creative teacher through a fairy tale will teach a lot. A child through a fairy tale learns the world around him, learns moral values, behavior patterns accepted in society, and joins the folk culture. Music sounds in the Kindergarten, children draw, fantasize, play! nine0003
In the Kindergarten of the Future, interaction with the families of children is also important. Parents are “infected” with positive emotions and are active participants in the pedagogical process, playing together with teachers and children. And at home they don’t sit children at the TV, at a laptop or with a tablet, phone, but involve them in joint activities: go for a walk in the park, do crafts, read a book…
In the Kindergarten of the Future, there are no more than 15 children and for their diversified development, a psychologist teacher, a speech therapist, a music director, and a physical education instructor work. Teachers work with children, not with “papers”. nine0003
And the child, going home in the evening, says: “I will definitely come tomorrow!”
Kindergarten of the future… What will it be like? It depends on us, teachers working in kindergarten today and now.
It is very important for us teachers to remember that children are our future. And we must create all the conditions for their development now. And the future will come very soon and “our children” will become the future parents of the future kindergarten, its employees, educators … It is they who will build the very kindergarten !
“The best way to make children good is to make them happy.” (Oscar Wilde), so let’s unite, raise and educate literate and kind people, striving to reach the heights on their own, able to defend their point of view. It is in our power to see in the eyes and hearts of the children the world in which Kindergarten of the Future will be built.

Essay “My Kindergarten of the Future”
Dream! We must dream! And we, preschool teachers, have something to dream about! And so, let’s start from the very beginning …
We are all very familiar with the problems with the adaptation of children in kindergarten. Therefore, “building” the kindergarten of the future, I would really like to turn to the early socialization of children, to realize the dream of all teachers and parents: a kindergarten without children’s tears! This idea is not new, it was proposed by the famous French pediatrician, psychoanalyst and writer Françoise Dolto. This is the so-called “Green House”, where the child gradually, at an individual pace, acquires the first social skills and “buds off” from the parents, in addition to what it says about the unfulfillment of this dream in the near present, the idea of this “house” implies absolute free for parents of this project. The child adapts to the new situation by visiting the “home” with the parents. Thus, this is a place of communication not only for children, but also for parents. In Russia, there are only two “Green Houses” – in Moscow and St. Petersburg. But… since we are talking about the kindergarten of the future, why shouldn’t such a “Green House” appear here in Saratov! nine0003
You can kindle your imagination for a long time with how the building of the kindergarten of the future will look like: in the form of a flower, a fabulous miracle tower, or it will be built from huge colored transformer cubes … Let’s leave it to the architects of the future to decide. It will, of course, be built from environmentally friendly materials, it will be bright, cozy and necessarily spacious. An important detail is the security systems. The most modern security and fire alarms, an autonomous climate control system will be installed. Pupils of our future kindergarten will not need to go to the district clinic for an appointment, because a whole block of our kindergarten will be given to medical specialists and offices with modern medical equipment. The most modern health-saving technologies will be applied within the walls of our kindergarten! Oh, how you want the children of the future to not get sick at all! Of course, the kindergarten of the future is the use of the most advanced technologies. Electronic media will be understandable and accessible to every adult and pupil. And yet, the last thing I would like is for the garden of the future to be a kind of sterile laboratory, with a lot of 3D screens, displays and other technical innovations of mankind, among which educators freed from the burden of everyday worries roam. I read that in one of the kindergartens in Moscow a survey was conducted among pupils on the topic “What would you do in a kindergarten if there were no adults there? » 80% of children answered – “I would play! ” And then? – “I would still play! ” And then? – “would leave” …. That’s what makes a kindergarten today, tomorrow and always attractive for children, cozy and lively – these are the people who work in it! I am sure that by the time the kindergarten of the future opens, the profession of an educator will become prestigious and teaching staff will be proud of their numerous talented youth! nine0003
In my view, the kindergarten of the future is a kind of scientific and methodological center, where professionals in their field work, it is a self-organizing system capable of revealing the potentials of its development by:
– early identification of children’s individual abilities in conditions of freedom of choice of activities;
– taking into account the needs of parents and the formation of the most important relationship: children – parents – teachers, in conditions of confidential communication;
– creation of scientific and methodological creative groups of kindergarten teachers and representatives of pedagogical science, which makes it possible to practically implement the principles of the development of the child’s personal sphere, educational activities, and the creation of a health-saving environment. nine0003
Thus, in my opinion, the model of the kindergarten of the future will be determined by the following components:
-organization of subject-developing environment;
-creation of conditions for optimal pedagogical interaction with children;
– modern educational and correctional development space;
– involvement of parents in the educational and correctional development process.
This built-up model would like to be supplemented with such components as an integrative component (so that children with genetic disorders integrate into the environment of ordinary peers); nine0003
– environmental (development of environmental awareness in children should be on a par with the most important tasks)
– ethno-cultural component (children of the future should not forget about their roots, history and traditions of their people)
Came to these conclusions and realized: yes because I didn’t discover anything and didn’t fantasize anything new.

The service fee also applies to activities that are held without charge, but may entice participants to join a fee-based program or purchase products or services.
Local non-profit organizations providing free opportunities for youth may be eligible to send flyers through Peachjar at no charge.

A parent group wishing to distribute their flyer to other district schools must gain approval from the district office.
· All flyers to be distributed shall bear the name and contact information of the sponsoring entity.
· The sponsoring entity must agree to a disclaimer stating they are a non-profit organization not affiliated with the Oregon Trail School District.
· Grammar, spelling and punctuation must be correct.
· Materials which have as their primary purpose the promotion or advertisement of a private or for-profit business, including childcare and tutoring, shall not be distributed through OTSD schools or Peachjar.
· Flyers are required to include both English and Spanish translation. Flyers may have multiple pages, but should be submitted as one document. The organization will only be charged for one flyer.

Petersburg School ILI – Just Learn
ILI School is a place where you are expected, where you are needed, where everything is created for you, including you. Our goal is to give children and parents the joy of learning.
We are not preparing children to fit into this world. We are preparing people who will create it.
Grades 1 to 10, continued.
Preschoolers
from 4 days a week.
Full time from 10 am to 6 pm. Feedback in areas: personal development and academic success. School is like work, we do not give work at home.
School address
The Ili school is located in the very heart of St. Petersburg — Mokhovaya street, 27-29 Three-storey outbuilding with an attic, with a total area of 2000 sq.m. Nearby places for active and cultural walks.
School opening September 6, 2021
Combining two areas of development: academic knowledge and personal growth without violence, without satiety. Taking into account today’s requirements.
Grades at school
Ira Belyaeva tells why we abandoned the grading system. Instead of grades, the school uses the author’s feedback system.
The principle of our school is that we do not give work at home. The task of the school is to organize the educational process in such a way that there is regular practice and an individual approach to each student.
It is important to use modern technologies in education in order to develop the maximum human potential. But a child is not only hard skils and soft skils, is also unique and the protagonist of his personal story.

The modern economy is such that a person can no longer linger on one step of the career ladder for a long time. And from time to time he must change the ladder itself
In the last decade, the globalization of the economy has led to a serious crisis in the labor market. Neither the traditional Soviet and Japanese career growth models, nor even the completely progressive Western one, meet the needs of the modern information economy. nine0019
The term “career planning” appeared quite recently and is associated with a new understanding of the career itself. If earlier the word “career” meant only career advancement within one organization, now HR specialists call any conscious individual behavior associated with a person’s work activity a career. And just as the rigid natural pattern that dictated the birth of the first child nine months after marriage was replaced by the concept of “family planning”, the one and only correct career strategy was replaced by individual career planning. nine0020
There are two different types of career: professional and intraorganizational. A professional career (for example, scientific, sports, etc.) involves the improvement and accumulation of experience within the same profession, but not necessarily within the same organization. For example, Western universities, unlike Russian ones, almost never provide their graduates with teaching positions, believing that communication with various research teams is necessary for development. In the West, it is extremely rare to meet a successful scientist who has worked all his life in one place. Contracts with teachers are usually signed for three to five years, and then it is considered natural to change the place of work, city, and sometimes the country of residence. nine0020
Along with a professional career, there is a career in one organization, which involves either promotion through the ranks, or the gradual expansion and complexity of tasks within one position. In recent decades, many large Western companies have become involved in career planning for their employees. This means that from the moment the employee is accepted into the organization and until the expected dismissal, his horizontal and vertical promotion through the system of positions or jobs is planned. The employee is informed in advance about his prospects and about what indicators he must achieve in order to count on promotion. nine0020
Japan: my company is my family
One of the most well-known forms of career planning is the lifetime employment system used in Japan. The bottom line is that a person goes to work in a company and works there until retirement. At the same time, the administration prefers to recruit workers from among graduates of educational institutions. Those who used to work in other companies are viewed with some suspicion, considered outsiders.
In addition, the Japanese system assumes the dependence of monetary remuneration on the length of service. Lifetime employment and pay by seniority tie the worker to the enterprise. But this does not mean being tied to a position or field of activity. An obligatory attribute of Japanese management is personnel rotation. An employee must be transferred to a new position every two or three years. For example, the head of the sales department changes places with the head of the supply department. The Japanese are firmly convinced that the leader must be able to work in any part of the company. nine0020
Enterprises carry out extensive social programs, thereby integrating not only the employee himself, but also his family. Rest in sanatoriums is organized for employees, preschool institutions are created for their children. Loans are often given at low interest rates. At the same time, the vast majority of large firms (up to 90%) provide housing for their employees at a low price. Therefore, the employee with his family is in the company’s field of vision around the clock. The company strives to ensure that employees are imbued with the feeling “my company is my home.” nine0020
The dependence of an employee on his enterprise is so great that sometimes he is not able to break off relations with the company, although it has already become a fetter in his personal destiny. And it can be unprofitable for a company to maintain the same relationship with its employees, especially during an unfavorable market situation. And therefore, in Japanese society, the need for changes in existing production relations has long been brewing.
Russia: remnants of collectivism
The Soviet model of employer-employee relations actually differed from the Japanese one in only one way: the state was the father and benefactor of all employees. The concept of lifelong employment in our country, if not directly proclaimed, was encouraged and cultivated in every possible way (accounting for work experience in one place when providing housing, pensions and other benefits of life, working dynasties, etc. ). A person who had many entries in the work book was treated with distrust: either a “flyer” chasing a long ruble, or a drunkard who was expelled for violating labor discipline. nine0020
And the majority of workers turned out to be morally unprepared for the new labor relations emerging in the course of socio-economic reforms. The adaptation of Russians to the market of goods and services all these years was accompanied by a reluctance to adapt to the market conditions of employment. They could not see themselves as a potential commodity. Such a view contradicted the very essence of the Soviet people’s understanding of the relationship between employer and employee, which is based not on business partnership, but on paternalism and personal dependence. nine0020
In the 1990s, sociologists closely followed the processes that took place on the Russian labor market and never ceased to wonder why the vast majority of Russian citizens continue to work where it is unprofitable, unpromising and no longer prestigious to work, that is, in the public sector. Researchers from the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences conducted surveys among employees of industrial enterprises in Moscow and the Moscow region (Tomilino). More than 1.5 thousand people participated in them, whose answers were compared with the results of a survey conducted back in Soviet times (1986) among the workers of the city of Pskov. It turned out that, despite the change in the form of ownership of enterprises, the relations of workers among themselves and their relations with superiors have changed little. Collectivist values and an orientation towards good relations with colleagues at work still prevail. Workers’ assessment of the importance of this parameter even increased from 1993 to 1999. The respondents are ready to selflessly help colleagues in their work, to fight for the preservation of the team in the event of a reduction in staff. Employees rely entirely on the paternalistic model: they perform any tasks, value friendly and trusting relationships with management, and do not seek to have complete information about the company’s affairs. Partnerships based on the joint activities of managers and subordinates, the fulfillment of predetermined duties, non-interference in the personal affairs of employees, are absent not only in state, but also in the most advanced capitalist enterprises. nine0020
Those employees who are weighed down by their personal dependence on management do not try to change the usual style of relationships. They choose a different strategy for achieving independence – secondary employment. Work “on the side” is more typical for young, educated and skilled workers. They feel more independent, criticize management more often, and take part in the management of their unit. And upon dismissal, much more often than those who do not have additional earnings, they are ready to organize their own business. nine0020
But even these relatively self-reliant and self-confident workers, instead of looking for a more suitable job for themselves, prefer to wait until they are fired from a bankrupt enterprise or laid off in a state institution. Only then, with a clear conscience, do they begin to realize long-term plans: they open their own business, change their specialty abruptly, or even move to another city.
West: career is the subject of creativity
It cannot be said that in the West there is an absolutely opposite model of relations between employers and employees. On the contrary, until recently, the same collectivist and paternalistic principles operated here. The welfare state model (welfare state), which took shape in the first half of the 20th century, implied the protection of workers and the mitigation of inequality between them and employers. This model exists in its most pronounced form in the Nordic countries. For example, in Sweden, earning more than a certain level at some point became completely unprofitable. Young people not only did not seek to make a career, but also did not see any point in getting a higher education. Thanks to progressive taxation, a highly educated and skilled specialist did not receive much more than an ordinary hard worker. And for young families with children, for example, it turned out to be unprofitable to work at all: the allowance for children in terms of its size was quite comparable to the salary. nine0020
But in the last decade in all 35 developed Western countries, taxes have decreased – and money for social programs has become scarce. In countries with a long history of trade unionism, cuts and layoffs have begun. Globalization has led to the fact that the proletarians of Southeast Asia, East European engineers and Indian programmers began to compete with well-fed and lazy Americans and Europeans on the international labor market. As a result, the managers of the largest and Western companies, such as IBM or General Motors, go to reduce salaries, cut social benefits for employees, explaining that otherwise production is unprofitable and cannot withstand international competition. nine0020
As a result, the majority of employees in labor relations are forced to reorient themselves from the principles of collectivism and paternalism to opposite principles – competition with colleagues and partnership with employers. The motto of the aspiring maverick worker is “I’ll get promoted or I’ll quit.” And companies in the face of fierce competition warn employees in advance: “You will get a promotion or leave.”
However, promotion in itself has ceased to be a uniquely joyful event. For example, in the United States, before being promoted, a manager must make several “horizontal” career moves in order to familiarize himself with the specifics of all departments that he will have to manage in the future. In the conditions of modern production, some parts of which are scattered all over the world, this implies an almost obligatory change of residence. But today, fewer people are ready for such movements. The main reason is that, more and more often, in married couples, each of the spouses makes his own career. If one of them is transferred to another city, the other has to give up a good job. In addition, selling a house and buying a new one is often associated with large costs. However, usually firms reimburse the costs associated with the move. In addition, many corporations now help the second spouse find a profitable job in a new place, and sometimes, if the second spouse loses wages during the move, they compensate for these losses. nine0020
The focus on career growth at all costs has led to the fact that many useful employees who cannot be promoted by companies begin to look for other jobs. To keep them, companies go to all sorts of tricks. For example, they transfer an employee from the electromechanical shop to the product quality control department, give difficult tasks to “sat” employees to expand the scope of their competence, send them on foreign business trips or leave for scientific work.
However, at 19In the 1990s, Western career planning technology again began to need modernization. Due to the development of high technologies, the labor market has become less stable. No one can count on a lifelong position and even a lifelong profession. Specialists in the field of computer technology or banking are forced to completely retrain every three to five years, actually mastering new professions. At the same time, the modern information economy provides unprecedented opportunities for quick enrichment and dizzying careers for talented managers, skilled computer specialists. nine0020
American career planning consultant David Borchard, assessing the consequences of the transition from the era of mass production to the era of the information economy, offers the following rules: your creativity and your area of responsibility; 2) when developing a career, it is necessary to take into account the market value of the unique qualities and talents of a person, which should be translated into individual career plans. Simply put, stop relying on chance. You need to figure out for yourself what to do every next five years, taking into account your abilities and inclinations. nine0020 ANNA FENKO
Editor’s note: To our regret, the author of this article, Vlast correspondent Anna Fenko, decided to follow the career planning recommendations. She will continue her career as Deputy Editor-in-Chief in one of the Russian scientific journals. The section “Life” ceases to exist. The editors hope that after some time, following all the same recommendations, Anna Fenko will return to Vlast. nine0019

Are you satisfied with your career? Alexander Livshits, Deputy General Director of the Russian Aluminum Company:
— Generally satisfied. Especially the way it has evolved over the past few years, when I was finally able to shape it myself. I already had one peak – when I was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. But then it was not I who made a career, Yeltsin, to whom I swore allegiance, decided everything for me. But I have not yet reached the peak of my business career. I hope everything is ahead. nine0020
Alexander Karelin, Member of the Presidential Council for Physical Culture and Sports, State Duma Deputy:
– Satisfied. My grandmother also told me that everything should be done well, then better, and then better than others. And sport has become a good launching pad for social growth. Although my political activity began when I was still a wrestler. In 1999, I had a lot of meetings with people on issues not related to sports. And then proposals began to come in seriously to engage in social activities. So at 19In 1999 I became a deputy. I think he did the right thing.
Konstantin Kosachev, First Deputy Head of the OVR parliamentary faction:
– In principle, I am satisfied, because everything that I have achieved, I have achieved through hard work. I have always considered my greatest strength to be able to work 25 hours a day. While still a diplomat, I realized that I wanted to go into politics, because there were gaps in the structure of the country that urgently needed to be patched. After all, a great one said: “If you don’t get involved in politics, politics will take care of you.” nine0020
Elena Andreeva, president of the holding of security companies “Bastion”:
– I am satisfied with my career, but I still want more. If you calm down, you will start to fall down. If in my profession you become like men, you will always be the worst. We must use our advantages – goodwill, lightness, openness.
Irina Khakamada, Vice Speaker of the State Duma:
– Now I still, in my opinion, have not reached the highest point of my career. As a child, I never dreamed of becoming a politician; I started doing this business in adulthood. As a businesswoman, I once faced very strong resistance from the authorities and did not find anything better than to start solving the problems of middle-class entrepreneurs myself. There were 19 in the yard91 years old
Yuri Skuratov, Prosecutor General of Russia in 1995-1999:
– Of course, I’m happy. When I was fired from the post of Prosecutor General, I did not immediately understand that my career was still a success. But I did not consider this position to be the peak of my career. Moreover, I would still have to leave this post – it would be disgusting for me to do many things that the Prosecutor General is doing now. And now I can do what I want.
Leonid Proshkin, lawyer, former investigator of the Prosecutor General’s Office:
– Generally satisfied.

SPICE Program
The SPICE (Special Preschool Integration for Children’s Education) Program provides preschool special education services to children from more than 17 school districts throughout Onondaga County and the surrounding counties.
The full-day program runs at the Early Education Center (960 Salt Springs Road) for five hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The half-day program operates in collaboration with the East Syracuse Minoa School District at Park Hill School (303 Roby Avenue, East Syracuse) with morning (9–11:30 a.m.) and afternoon (12:30 p.m. –3 p.m.) sessions of 2 1/2 hours each.
Both the half and full-day programs run Monday through Friday and follow the school calendar of the district where the children reside. All classrooms have identified special education ratios, the number of staff to a number of students, and are inclusive – meaning peers who don’t receive services are enrolled in the classrooms as well. Children enrolled in the SPICE Program receive onsite speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, play therapy, and other clinical supports, all provided by New York State licensed professionals.
Early Education Center SPICE also is a licensed Play Project provider. Play Project is a parent-implemented intensive early intervention program for young children with autism that is evidence-based.
SPICE – Full Day & Half Day – Currently enrolling for Summer and Fall sessions.
Registration Process
To enroll your child in SPICE, the child’s home school district’s Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) must approve a half- or full-day preschool program, referred to as a SCIS (Special Class Integrated Setting) on the child’s IEP. Once a program has been approved, the district often will contact us with specific referrals.
Referral Process and Enrollment
Interested families call for more information or to begin the referral process. Our Family Coordinators will be happy to discuss options for your child and further explain the process.
If your child has qualified for a full-day program, contact: Shelly Canavan p. (315) 446-3220. For the half-day program, contact: Desiree Phillips p. (315) 434-3805.

It goes without saying that, when you score an interview for a nanny job, you want to bring your A-game. However, even though you’re, technically speaking, the one in the hot seat, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t come armed with a list of questions of your own. You do, after all, want to know what you’re potentially getting into.
“Asking questions is absolutely paramount for nannies during an interview,” says professional nanny of over 30 years Stella Reid, AKA Nanny Stella. “Just as the family is deciding if you are the right fit for them, you should be assessing if the family is the right fit for you.”
“Just as the family is deciding if you are the right fit for them, you should be assessing if the family is the right fit for you. ”
Stella Reid, AKA Nanny Stella, professional nanny
In addition to doing recon on whether the job itself is a good match and personalities mesh, right now, there’s the added layer of a pandemic. You want to learn upfront whether the family you may be working closely with is taking precautions with which you’re comfortable.
“The interview is time to have radical transparency and open communication — especially in the age of COVID,” says Michelle LaRowe, lead educator at NannyTraining.com and author of “Nanny to the Rescue!” “You want to make sure you’re accepting a job with a family you can trust and with whom you feel safe.”
Wondering what questions you should ask parents during an interview? Here are 32 questions to ask when interviewing for a nanny job, according to Reid and LaRowe:
General questions about the job
What are you looking for in a nanny?
What are the hours?
How long of a commitment are you seeking?
What are the daily duties?
What did you like about your previous nannies and what are you looking to change?
Do you travel? If so, would you require me to travel with you? If not, will there be responsibilities while you are gone?
Questions about the kids
Do the children have allergies or any other health concerns?
Do the children require any specialized care?
What personality style or temperament do your children connect with best?
What does the kids’ typical day look like?
Questions about compensation
What is the wage and benefits being offered?
Obviously, this is something you, rightly, want to know, but LaRowe doesn’t recommend leading with these questions. “Asking this question before seeing if you are a potential match can be a real turn off to parents who want a caregiver that expresses interest in their children before money,” she explains. “Plus, it’s a moot point if you’re not interested in the job.”
How do you run the payroll?
Will you be issuing a W-2 and handling taxes?
Questions about parenting style
What is your discipline philosophy?
What values do you want to instill in your children?
Do you adhere to a specific parenting style?
What model of care do you envision?
“If you are a nanny who’s used to running the show, you likely won’t do well in a position that requires you to stay in the house and be micromanaged,” notes LaRowe.
Questions about home life
Do you have pets?
Do you have a pool?
Is there any other household staff?
Will I be using my vehicle or yours to transport the children?
Do you work inside or outside of the home?
Finally, LaRowe recommends asking potential employers if there’s anything they’d like you to know about their family at the end of the interview. “Following this question with a long pause is going to get you answers to questions you would never have thought to ask” she explains.
Health questions
Do you take the flu shot?
Are you up to date on other immunizations, including whooping cough?
Questions about COVID safety and risk
The pandemic isn’t over, and every job-seeking nanny should feel empowered to ask questions in order to assess potential risks. The Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA) has developed a COVID Risk Tolerance Scale that can help nannies and families identify their COVID Risk Factor. According to LaRowe, asking where a family falls on the scale can help match you with a family who practices the same or similar level of COVID precautions.
According to LaRowe, here are questions to ask when searching for a job during the pandemic:
Have you gotten the COVID vaccine? If not, are you and the eligible children planning on getting one?
Do you work in high-risk exposure jobs?
What is the plan if someone in the family is exposed to or diagnosed with COVID? And will I be paid if asked to quarantine?
What are the expectations if I’m exposed?
Am I expected to wear a mask during work hours, and will the family, including children over 2 years old, be wearing masks?
Am I expected to get regular COVID tests?
Will the schedule or my job duties shift if schools close or go virtual at any point?
What outings and social activities are acceptable for the children?

“It’s important to understand the family’s COVID precautions and action plan when you’re interviewing, not after you’ve accepted the job,” explains LaRowe. “This way, you can gauge your comfort level and consider whether or not it’s a good fit.”

How to let a nanny into the family: advice from a psychologist
Before looking for a nanny, a mother should think about what kind of person she would like to see next to her child: what is acceptable in his behavior and character, and what is definitely not. Young mothers have a strong intuition, it is important to listen to it. Sometimes it’s hard to explain why this or that nanny is not suitable – and that’s okay.
Decide in advance what the nanny’s responsibilities are: does she need to come for a walk with the child or for the whole day? Maybe you want her to entertain and develop the baby during his waking hours? Write down: whether you have to heat or cook food, wash or clean toys. The nanny needs to understand how much work awaits her.
Child or mother – who should like a nanny?
Of course, she must meet all the requirements of her mother. However, the behavior and attitude of the child is also taken into account. It is necessary to observe whether communication with the nanny gives him joy, whether he is waiting for a meeting, whether he is hiding when she appears on the threshold.
If you like several candidates at once, leave the choice to the child. A friend of mine suggested that her son, at the age of 2, approach one of the three girls she selected, which he liked the most. The child held out his hands to the young woman. In the future, the mother was not disappointed in the choice of the baby.
Interview with a nanny: what to look for
To get started, carefully read the nanny’s resume. Evaluate the experience, how long and where she worked. See if she washed her hands when she came to your house. Was she able to immediately get in touch with the child, and after how long did he begin to communicate with her.
Here are the most important questions to ask to make sure that the candidate is competent and adequate:
What do you do if the child does not want to sleep/eat/walk? Punish? If so, how? (So you will know the style of parenting that the nanny adheres to).
What can you tell us about the families you worked for? (For example, I don’t like it when nannies talk about former employers or their children in a negative way).
Do you agree to work under surveillance cameras? (You need to understand whether the nanny is ready for control and criticism).
Acquaintance and the first days with a nanny
Be sure to introduce the nanny to your baby. Explain who it is, how much time she will spend with him, where you will go.
Tell the nanny about the child’s daily routine, what he eats, if he has any allergies, what vitamins and medicines he takes. Discuss all activities related to care and upbringing – the nanny should follow your terms, and not vice versa!
The first days are best spent together with the child and the nanny to make sure they are compatible. Listen from another room to all interactions and evaluate: how the nanny is coping, how the child reacts to her. Then leave them alone for 2-3 hours, after 3-5 days increase the time to 6-8 hours.
The child must trust the nanny and recognize her authority. However, the main thing in the family is still the parents. If the nanny begins to “be friends against mom” or contradict mom’s attitudes, it’s better to part with her.
If you notice something strange in the nanny’s behavior, tell her right away.
Close your eyes, take a deep breath and take in the sights and sounds of the average daycare center. Imagine the crying, the running noses, the snacks with less than ideal foods and overworked teachers. Now imagine, for less than you pay for daycare, you come home to an up-kept house with your laundry done, your children smiling and dinner started. No more bringing home sick and exhausted kids who have limited adult interaction and little personal guidance during the day. I will share with you how you can have the wonderful, loving care of a nanny with a salary that’s less than you pay for day care.
I can’t tell you how many times I have had to dispel the myth that having a live-in nanny is only for the wealthy. The assumption is that nanny salaries are so expensive that the “average” family just can’t afford having a live-in nanny. This just isn’t true! I have shown in a previous article, “Nanny vs. Au Pair – The Costs and Benefits” that hiring one of
YCN’s nannies is actually less expensive than the average au pair and agency fees and now you will see that your nanny’s pay will be less than putting your child in day care as well.
According to the US Department of Labor, average day care costs in the US are as follows:
Assuming full-time day care for a 2 year old child on weekdays, according to Runzheimer International, the U.S. national average cost for full-time day care is $1000 a month. Large cities such as San Francisco and New York are much more expensive, with average daycare costs of a little more than $1,500 a month. Contacting two KinderCares in the Los Angeles area about infant day care, we received quotes of $500-$650 a week, plus annual fees. Most of our families are in urban areas, meaning the average for two children in daycare is $3500/mo or more. If you have more than two children, there’s no doubt you will save a significant amount of money by having a nanny.
With Your Child’s Nanny, you can be assured your children are in experienced, loving hands in the safety of your home environment. Nannies set up playdates with other children, giving them the social interaction they need and can provide music, learning, foreign language and other activities on a one on one basis.
So what is the cost of having a live-in nanny? First you have the nanny’s weekly salary. Here at Your Child’s Nanny, our nannies start at $600/week. Although nanny salaries can go in excess of $1500/week for extensive experience, special skills and extra duties, you will find many of our nannies are placed in the $550-$750/week range. In addition to your live-in nanny’s weekly salary you also have room and board. Room and board will cover your nanny’s food while she’s in your home as well as the cost of having an extra person in the home (utilities, etc). Average cost for room and board varies by household. You will also pay for gas if you have your nanny drive, but assuming you are already driving your children to daycare or activities, this is an expense you already have. In fact, you will probably save money on gas, no longer taking those trips back and forth to childcare!
For more information on how a nanny can help you, visit our “What Does A Nanny Do?” article. You can also call us for more information on nanny salaries. We have a proprietary formula to help you determine the most fair salary. We get paid a flat fee, and not a percentage of your nanny’s pay. You can be assured that we remain impartial and fair in helping you determine the right salary range for you and your nanny. Ultimately your nanny’s salary should reflect her experience, the duties associated with the position and your budget.

The Payscale of a Nanny | Work
By Elizabeth Layne Updated May 23, 2022
With her unique talents, salary may not have been something Mary Poppins was concerned about, but real-life nannies are. Nannies work in the homes of children they care for, some as live-ins. Their duties include taking children to appointments, helping with homework, preparing nutritious meals, determining recreational activities, modeling appropriate behavior and discussing children’s development with parents. Professional career nannies have formal training, and typically hold college degrees in fields such as early childhood education.
Full Time Nanny Pay Scale
Nannies typically are able to negotiate their salaries before signing a contract, although, as with other occupations, salaries depend on location, education and experience. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual pay for all childcare workers in 2021 was $27,490 or $13.22 per hour. Nationally, the average range for full-time live out nannies is $766 per week, according to Nanny Lane. For live-out nannies, it is $670.
Nannies with associate degrees or higher earn closer to the top of the pay scale. Nannies that have training or skills required to be a nanny for a special-needs child or children in other unique circumstances can also command a higher salary. Generally, the average nanny salary is based on caring for two children. Nannies working for a family with more than two children should also expect more pay.
Pay By Location
The higher the living expenses in a specific location, the more a nanny’s salary likely will be. According to Nanny Lane, nannies earn $23 an hour in California, $22 in Washington, and $20 in New York State, Maryland and Massachusetts. The lowest hourly rate is found in Ohio, at $15.
Education and Experience
According to Nanny Lane data, full-time nannies with less than five years of experience average $16.88 per hour nationally. This rises to $19.29 with 6 to 10 years of experience, $20.37 with 10 to 15 years of experience and $21.08 for the most experienced nannies. Nannies with a university or college degree in education, early childhood education or a related field tend to earn more. They job prospects may also be higher as employers are looking for nannies who can assist their children’s development. First-aid certifications may also command higher salaries.
Raises and Benefits
Nannies usually get annual raises, but some employers provide increases every six months. Raises tend to be around 5 percent of weekly salary, but can be higher for exceptional work. Other benefits or perks can include use of an employer-furnished vehicle, a cell-phone allowance, paid registration and/or travel expenses to professional conferences and paid dues to nanny professional associations.

up to 1 year old
babysitter
up to 2 years old
3-5 years old
5-7 years old
In the first case, you will be helped to take care of your child, control timely nutrition and hygiene.
The older the child, the more the nanny can do. For children under 5 years old, it is great if the babysitter knows how to develop creative talents. From 5 years old, it’s good if the nanny can instill a love of learning.
Complicating the classification of nannies
An important point! The basic set of professional skills has been disassembled above. Next, we will analyze additional duties that increase the burden on the nanny, and some require separate qualifications.
We will analyze why for a narrow profile of nannies we have to pay extra:
-1-
Breast nanny
Cares for babies is always difficult to take 9000-2-
large -distance loads and extension of the load and extension of the load and extension. Responsibility
-3-
Night
the schedule is off and stress resistance is needed
It is also always worth evaluating additional options correctly:
The second point is especially important. Many parents want to teach their children to write, read, count, draw, etc. before school. A specialist with teaching skills will cost more, but in the end it will be cheaper than hiring a babysitter and a tutor separately.
What can reduce the price of babysitting?
Special conditions from Sittme
We will provide you with a nanny with any skill set and help you save money.
What reduces the final bill:
Signing a contract for 3 or more months.
Payment in advance from 100 hours.
Affiliate program: bring a friend and get a discount.
We offer a permanent babysitter. These are not one-time orders, but a plan of visits agreed with the parents.
Advantages of the approach:
The child gets used to one person.
Babysitters are allowed to work only after firm training and passing several checks. We do not collect resumes of just “wishing to work”.
Babysitters always know the working schedule. No stress about looking for a job. More positive for your children.
Parents can make any convenient schedule for themselves.
Replacement warranty. For example, a babysitter may become ill. This shouldn’t be your problem. Therefore, we select a suitable replacement person.

Hello! Next week, I’m starting to look for a nanny for the children, so I have questions. Tell me, does anyone pay the nanny not by the hour, but by the day? I’m thinking about how best to do it: offer a salary or calculate how many days she works? For now (and I feel that these are my pink dreams), I want to call a nanny for a full-time job (5 days), with 2 days off. Normal working days I want to pay 1500 per day, and Saturday (if I go somewhere with my husband in the evening), then 2000 per day. For 22 working days it turns out about 35 thousand.
(It is planned that the nanny will clean up alone at our house for 2 hours, while the youngest daughter is in the gcp, then pick her up, bring her home, feed her and put her to bed, and at 5 I will come home from work, on Saturday not a full day with two children, while my husband and I are on business or visiting. Thursday, Sunday are days off. I don’t need development and upbringing for children, we, as parents, are actively involved in this ourselves. It is necessary that a person reliably looks after and I could safely leave children with a nanny, knowing that she does not yell at them and does not allow dangerous situations).
So far, I haven’t offered this to any specific nanny. Experienced mothers, tell me: do nannies in Moscow spend that kind of money, in principle? Or do I demand too much and inadequately evaluate someone else’s work? If you add house cleaning, how much money do you add on top? I can’t pay my nanny 55: there will be no point in my work then. Or for 35-40 now no one agrees at all? I want to look at the situation from the outside: on the Nanny Helper everyone is 45-55 and above, and rarely anyone agrees to help with the housework.

A few weeks ago I visited Chester in England and was interested in finding out more about the city’s Royalist past and I booked a tour with Chester Civil War Tours and was amazed as to how much information I was given. To add to the experience our guide was dressed in what looked like a thoroughly authentic copy of a Cavalier’s costume. His knowledge of the period is quite astonishing and I sincerely hope that the next time I am in England, hopefully with my grandchildren, I will be able to book another of the company’s tours. I would absolutely give my experience a rating of 10 out of 10.

Waste of space
March 2017 • With friends
We booked a tour with Ed for 4 people at 11am Saturday 25th March. Waited but he didn’t turn up. Phoned & left message on his voicemail but no reply. Lady in Tourist Information also rank & left him a message to no avail. Apparently thus happens quite regularly so I think his website should be removed. We wasted half a morning on this having come up from Kent for 3 nights, not amused. nine0003

I’m very sorry that this has happened. Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances the tour couldn’t go ahead as I was taken ill the night before. The phone I have been using has a cracked screen and unfortunately this means that it is un-usable so I have now changed my phone which means I can now use a phone again.
I take full responsibility for the cock-up and no show but the lady in the tourist information center has got her facts wrong as this has only happened on one other occasion in four years. Perhaps the Tourist Information Center need to get their own house in order before they incorrectly make comments about another business.
Whilst you have stated your own experience and made the comment of us being a waste of space, you’ll see the amazing responses we have had from folk who have come on our tours and this is clearly a one off to which I apologise profusely. nine0003

Worthwhile walk
Nov. 2016 • With friends
Spent a great weekend in Chester with 3 freinds from Edinburgh. The weekend was made all the more enjoyable by including a walking tour with the Chester Civil War tour guide, Ed. He was so enthuastic and passionate about his subject, it brought the whole thing to life and we saw Chester city center in another light. nine0003

Great day out in Chester
Oct. 2016 • Family fun
Last weekend we visited area around Chester and booked a Civil war tour in the town. We were so happy that we’ve done it! The tour guide Ed was very enthusiastic and had a brilliant skill to talk about history passionately, involving everyone in the group in his story. Chester city center is simply magic, packed with historic buildings which are extremely beautiful and very well looked after. The only small criticism is that I would like to know more about actual Civil war – the subject is on the title of the tour but still the tour was full of interesting historic facts and we’ve learned something! It definitely made our visit of Chester remembered. nine0003

I really enjoyed my tour with Chester Civil War tours at the weekend. Our guide was so interesting and he was great at relaying the history of Chester during this historic period. I live in Chester and there were buildings I had never even noticed before which he pointed out to us. It was so good I didn’t want it to end and would like to go again for a continuation tour. The history phrase comes alive is very apt on this event. nine0151 Would definitely recommend it.
