New child care resource hub in Vegas aims to help fix ‘broken’ system – The Nevada Independent

Calling the nation’s child care system “broken” and its costs “unsustainable,” Nevada elected leaders on Tuesday helped launch a new center dedicated to supporting child care businesses in the state.

Nevada Strong Start Child Care Services Center in Las Vegas is described as a one-stop hub to help new and existing child care providers navigate licensing, connect parents with services and benefits and collaborate with industry peers. The center is funded in part by federal COVID-19 aid packages.

At the opening event, Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) said almost half of all families in the U.S. have reported difficulty in finding access to child care. She added that in 2019, the average annual cost of child care in Nevada was approximately $11,500 — close to $1,000 per month.

“This is absolutely unsustainable for families,” Rosen said.

Rep. Susie Lee (D-NV) pointed out that nearly three out of four Nevada children live in an area with no access to reliable child care.

“Providing infant care in Nevada is $5,500 more expensive than in-state tuition for college,” Lee said. “Some families literally have to choose whether to show up to work today or to take care of their sick kids or to send them into an environment that they know is not good for them.”

Gov. Steve Sisolak said in addition to federal dollars, the hub would be funded through the state Division of Welfare and Supportive Services. The center will collaborate with other entities including The Children’s Cabinet, Wonderschool, Children’s Advocacy Alliance, Nevada Association for the Education of Young Children, Candelen, Workforce Connections and Nevada Youth First and Las Vegas Urban League.

“We have spent more than $200 million to help support the providers through the pandemic and it will help to cover the costs and to provide assistance directly to workers who are so desperately needed,” Sisolak said.

COVID has taken a major toll on child care providers, according to Marty Elquist of The Children’s Cabinet.

“Child care workforce operated on a shoestring budget during COVID, only to find themselves with increased operating expenses, regulations and decreased enrollment,” Elquist said.

She added that labor shortages have been a challenge because of low wages and increasing demands put on those caring for the children.

“Why work in early education when you can get a job at a warehouse, Starbucks, or McDonald’s, where you can earn more?” Elquist said. “Child care is broken in our country and COVID has exposed our fractured system. We have to do something about that.”

Anitra Lott, who owns and directs Kingdoms Daycare in Las Vegas, started providing child care services after noticing a shortage of child care facilities and providers in her community.

“My heart was breaking for the parents,” she said.

When planning to start her child care service, she said it took countless hours of calling and driving to various locations to piece together the needed information. She said the new center provides all the information and resources that the current providers would need, and it can also be a guide for those looking to start such a business.

The center also drew praise from Chris Bennett, CEO of Wonderschool, an online platform that supports people who want to start home-based child care programs by helping them create websites, do background checks and get their first enrollments.

“I am excited to see the state’s highest level of leadership, including the governor and senators, come here and work with providers and what we are doing about child care on the ground,” Bennett said.

Au Pair Agency & Babysitting in Las Vegas, Nevada | Contact Lea O.

What is an Au Pair?

Au Pairs in the US Au Pair program are young adults between the ages of 18 and 26 who come to the United States and live as an extended member of their host family and also complete 6 credit hours of school. The au pair is provided with up to 45 hours of child care per week in exchange for a separate room, meals and a minimum weekly stipend. An au pair introduces families to other cultures, languages and customs, offering a valuable intercultural experience.

Because au pairs visit the US as an exchange visitor on a federal exchange program that allows them to provide childcare, they are one of the most affordable childcare and cultural exchange programs, especially for families with more than one child .

What is the difference between an au pair and a nanny?

The nanny is a strictly domestic worker, making the au pair a participant in the federal cultural exchange program. The Au Pair is welcome and treated like a member of your extended family. Children get a rich cultural experience, which is not always available from a nanny.

Au Pairs must meet certain criteria to participate in a government sponsored Au Pair program. In the United States, Au Pairs must be between the ages of 18 and 26 with demonstrable experience caring for children who come to the US to stay with family for a cultural exchange of experience for one year. Au pairs don’t usually make a career out of childcare like nannies do.

Many families and au pairs participate in government approved au pair exchange programs where there are certain rules and requirements. See Family Requirements or Au Pair Requirements for more information. The nanny-family relationship is an employer-employee relationship that is not governed by federal exchange program rules.

Nannies are not required to meet the strict verification, experience and training requirements of the Au Pair program. Nannies are not necessarily looking for a cultural exchange experience, rather, it may be more of a career development experience in childcare that they are looking for.

How long can you keep an au pair?

An Au Pair visiting the US through a legal Au Pair program sponsor designated by the US Department of State will receive a J-1 Au Pair visa which is valid for one year and renewable for a second year. After the second year, the au pair needs to return home. An Au Pair can reapply for the Au Pair program after two years if she or she is still eligible.

What makes an au pair?

In exchange for room, board, and a weekly stipend, your au pair will work up to 45 hours a week helping you calm tantrums, conquer your child’s underwear, help with morning and regular sleep, pick up kids’ meals and school lunches. solving thorny math questions, getting kids to school and classes, playing and having fun, and most importantly, giving you the pleasure of knowing you can expect the best possible care for your child.

For most parents, there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to cross off everything from a continuous to-do list, let alone have fun with their kids, and find free time for themselves. It’s a different story with the au pair. The hostess will not only play with the children and look after them, she will also help you with all the tasks related to the children:

  • Cooking and cleaning up afterwards
  • Preparing school meals
  • Help with bathroom
  • Driving children to school and activities
  • Help with homework and tutoring
  • Wash clothes for children
  • Keep children’s rooms clean and tidy
  • Other specific childcare responsibilities in your family

You may notice that au pairs are not responsible for heavy housework, housework, pet care, laundry, or meals for the whole family. However, they are also members of the family, so you can ask them to take part in common household chores that are shared among family members.

Can au pairs work all night?

The au pair may not be left as the sole caregiver in charge of the children and household while the host parents are out of town. The Au Pair cannot work more than 10 hours a day, including sleep hours, if they are responsible for the children. You should have another responsible adult who can help you find an au pair and help you generally manage the household in your absence.

Most au pairs are interested in getting out, socializing and going to school in their spare time. Our experience shows that placements are most successful if night shifts are avoided.

How much do householders get paid?

GreatAuPair does not determine au pair compensation. Au-pair compensation is negotiated and decided by the au pair (employee) and the host family (employer). The U.S. Department of State, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Labor, has established a legally applicable federal minimum weekly stipend for farms of $19$5.75 depending on the FLSA, however the au pair and host families are allowed to negotiate on au pair compensation which may be higher than the legally applicable federal minimum Au Pair stipend.

The minimum weekly Au Pair stipend for the US Au Pair program is directly related to the US federal minimum wage. The minimum Au Pair Scholarship is based on a US Department of Labor formula that includes a room and board credit provided by Host Families for their Au Pair. The cost of room and board is currently 40% of the credited au pair compensation.

If the au pair had to work 45 hours a week for 51 weeks at the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour, that would result in $16,638.75.40. Subtracting 9,983.25% of the Room and Meal Credit from this total comes out to $51,195.75, which is then divided by XNUMX weeks, resulting in $51,195. 75.

Can I pay extra for my au pair if I need her to work more?

State Department regulations strictly prohibit the au pair from working more than 45 hours a week and 10 hours a day. Even if your au pair wants to earn extra money for extra hours, this is strictly prohibited.

Can I share the au pair with another family?

No, an au pair can only live and work for one family.

Can my landlady look after the neighbors after hours?

No, the au pair is not allowed to work for other families.

Can my hostess travel with us on holiday?

Many families find that having their au pair accompany them on vacation is a great way to get extra free time and enjoy a second set of hands. In addition, your au pair benefits from pleasant and fun interactions with the family. If the au pair accompanies you on your family vacation, the hours worked are counted down and she continues to earn her stipend. The au pair should not be held responsible for expenses related to family vacations, except for special shopping/entertainment, etc. that the au pair chooses.

If you are traveling outside the United States, you must check with that country’s embassy to find out what visa regulations may apply to your household. Your host will also need to send their DS-2019 form to GreatAuPair for signature well in advance of the travel date. A signature from a responsible GreatAuPair officer indicates that the au pair is well placed in the au pair program and is required to re-enter the United States.

An Au Pair in the renewal year may not be able to leave the country because their original 12 month visa has expired. Please be sure to check with GreatAuPair before leaving the country with an Au Pair in her renewal year.

Description

Intended use

For home and professional complex skin care, lifting effect, relaxation and deep moisturizing.

Features

Vegas II includes a patented combination of 3 currents – Hi Mfip (this model only), MFIP and UltraPulse, as well as EMS, radio wave therapy and red light phototherapy. The electrodes are titanium coated to reduce the risk of metal allergies.

Powerful, wireless and stylish, this model is uncompromisingly beautiful and feels great in the hand.

For whom?

For those who want to take their home skin care to the professional level by maximizing the potential of their serums. For those who want to maintain optimal shape and postpone invasive lifting procedures as much as possible until a later age.

Especially recommended for those who are concerned about creases and wrinkles due to tension and tight muscles in the face.

Mechanism of action

Press the power button once, twice or three times to select the intensity level. The device implements a complex skin therapy program – RF lifting, EMS therapy, LED light therapy and electroporation.

In just 10 minutes, you get rid of edema, conduct low-molecular serum 10-20 times deeper than with surface application, tone small muscles, improve blood circulation and lymph flow in tissues.

The triple combination of medium and high frequency currents provides a unique electroporation effect in the salon. The device switches the current mode in automatic mode every 3 seconds. This feature provides instant lymphatic drainage and deep penetration of moisturizing active ingredients. Maximizes the potential of cosmetic products for elasticity, moisturizing and lifting, reducing pigmentation, which are applied to the skin before the procedure. Eliminates puffiness.

EMS

Professional Power Electromyostimulation contracts and relaxes muscles, including those less used on the face. Thanks to this, the muscles are well supplied with blood, the cellular processes in the skin proceed in a healthy rhythm, the face is tightened, the skin acquires elasticity and a healthy color. The folds and wrinkles that occur due to tension are not fixed.

Very effective for the prevention and smoothing of wrinkles around the eyes, on the forehead and in the area of the nasolabial triangle, for lifting the lower third of the face, strengthening the tissues around the eyes.

Radio wave therapy

Delicate thermal stimulation of the subcutaneous layer enhances the synthesis of fibroblasts and collagen, improving the density of turgor. Heating occurs in a safe temperature range and is not felt on the skin, does not cause redness.

Phototherapy

Red spectrum LED. The waves of this spectrum enhance the synthesis of collagen, increase the moisture-holding capacity of the skin, increase elasticity and smooth out fine wrinkles.

Includes charger, instructions, warranty, storage pouch with internal cosmetic pockets. The head with electrodes is closed with a protective cap during storage.

Japan 1 year warranty.

The device is not waterproof! To clean, wipe with a damp disinfectant wipe.

Rating Melon Panda

Undoubtedly the most stylish of facial devices. The lines are perfect, with minimal size and weight, the Vegas II feels great in the hand. The sensation of pulsation when emitting a pulse of currents comes in stronger and more frequent bursts than with Clione.

The effect is obvious – a fresh, toned face instantly and the next day after the procedure, with regular use gives a lasting rejuvenating effect.

How to use

Use the device after cleansing the skin. If you use electroporation serums, please only choose those that are designed with this in mind and do not contain irritating components, as they can give a strong reaction during the procedure. The device can be used without serum, but with a gel conductor or liquid (water), which will ensure the passage of the impulse.

After cleansing, apply the serum and/or gel guide, turn on the device and select one of three levels of intensity. Perform massage with light diverging spiral movements from the bottom up and from the middle of the face to the periphery. Begin and end the procedure with diverging movements along the sides of the neck from top to bottom and along the collarbones.

Total procedure time 10 minutes.

Follow with moisturizing treatment.

  • Programs

We began to offer an infant program at our center in 1998.  In 1999, we built onto the building and moved our infant program into the extension so that we could make certain to have the specialty equipment and layout necessary for high quality infant care.

We take infants from 3 months to 18 months.  (At 18 months, they officially are toddlers)  Our infant program is only available for full time care (Monday – Friday).  We are licensed for 16 infants and we have a ratio of 1 teacher for every 4 infants.

Our infant room has two learning environments that can accommodate up to 10 babies at any one time.

These areas are equipped with beautiful activity / feeding tables that can hold 8 children.   The seats can be turned around as well to face the other direction.  The children can often be found doing art activities such as:  pudding painting, fluff art, crayon and marker fun, cornmeal collages, cheerio art etc.  We use corn syrup rather than glue as these budding artists like to sample their media and work as they create. They also enjoy fingerplays and story time at the table.  It is also where they enjoy their snacks and meals. We happily clean the table thoroughly between the varied activities so as to be always at the ready.

The learning / play areas also are set up with colorful mats for the children to crawl / play on, a huge variety of toys, low shelves, soft low gross motor climbers (the “crawly bumps”), as well as exersaucers, swings, and bouncy chairs.

Each child has their own locker for their personal items and clothing.

Adjacent to the learning / play areas is the separate nap room for the babies.  Each baby has their own assigned crib, with sheets and we ask mom & dad to bring in a blanket, as well as – perhaps – a sleep toy to make the crib their own.   Our sleep room is painted in a lovely deep wedgewood blue with a border of moons & stars with several windows to the classroom and the staff room for constant supervision.

We have four-seater strollers to take the babies for walks.  They particularly enjoy seeing the vehicles driving along, visiting the nearby pet store and receiving lots of waves from passers by.

Each baby has a log book which documents their day. It indicates to the parents how they ate, slept, interacted, played, as well as diapering.

In addition to the time for free play, the infant teachers plan learning activities 1 week in advance.  These activities are based upon the children’s developmental abilities and are selected with specific skills in mind.  Some examples would be:  jumbo peg / peg boards, rolling ball games, musical instruments, mirror games, mimicking, follow the leader, bubble play, cornmeal play, water play, and many many more.  Stories and songs are a part of every hour of the day.

The babies are all on their own schedules.  They drink, eat and sleep according to their own needs.

If a baby has not tried all items on our menu, then it is necessary for mom & dad to provide their food & drinks but once all types of foods on menu have been introduced, then we provide 2 snacks and a lunch as well as drinks.  Food and drinks provided from home must be labelled.

Parents also provide diapers and wipes.

Our infant program is a very special part of our daycare.  When we opened our program, 13% of Nova Scotia daycares had infant care.  This has since decreased to approximately 8%.  We are often asked if we are considering closing our infant unit and we always reassure families that it is a special part of who KIDS R KIDS is.  We have thoroughly enjoyed sharing and watching our babies grow and graduate through our classes until heading off to “big” school.  We simply cannot imagine KIDS R KIDS without our babies.

Please do not hesitate to ask us any questions about our baby program.

Great experience! My son enjoys going to this school.

The atmosphere has been amazing since we started. The teachers have been nothing but amazing and such a blessing in the quick change of becoming a working mom from a stay at home mom. I couldn’t have been anymore blessed with the staff they have. My daughter loves them all. Not only are they teachers but they all have become a huge part in my child’s life. Any issues we’ve had, we’ve communicated to

admin and without a blink of an eye she’s on it trying to fix it. Alma has been awesome. I would recommend Childtime to anyone without even second guessing it. Not to mention, the daily reports and pictures I get through the brightwheel app are always cool to get through a day at work.

TRP – the path to success!

Physical education is an important component of the overall development of a child in kindergarten. Every parent wants to see their child healthy, active and cheerful. For a child to always be like this, the foundations must be laid from early childhood. Therefore, at preschool age, much attention is paid to the development of children’s muscles, their dexterity, strength and endurance. To ensure the health of the child, compulsory physical education is introduced in kindergarten.

Based on the Sanitary Norms and Rules, the physical education of children in preschool educational institutions is aimed at improving health and physical development, expanding the functionality of the child’s body, and developing motor skills and motor qualities. It is necessary to use forms of motor activity: morning exercises, indoor and outdoor physical education, physical training minutes, outdoor games, sports exercises, rhythmic gymnastics and others.

Targets of preschool education for physical development according to the Federal State Educational Standard:

– at an early age: “the child has developed large motor skills, he seeks to master various types of movement (running, climbing, stepping over, etc. “;

– at the stage completion of preschool education: “the child has developed large and fine motor skills; he is mobile, enduring, masters the basic movements, can control his movements and manage them.”

  • “Ready for Labor and Defense” (TRP)

The Regulations on the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” (TRP) determines that the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex provides for the preparation for and direct implementation by various age groups (from 6 to 70 years and older) of the population of the Russian Federation of the established standards of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex according to 3 levels of difficulty.

At preschool age (for children 6-8 years old – the first stage of the introduction of the TRP) the foundation is laid for the physical development, health and character of a person in the future. In connection with the continuity between kindergarten and school, with the introduction of the delivery of TRP standards into the school curriculum, it is preschool education that orients children towards passing the TRP complex at preschool age. nine0003

For the implementation of the RLD complex in the kindergarten, the following conditions are provided for:

• regulatory and resource support;

• program-methodical, technological and organizational support of the RLD implementation system;

• information support and information and explanatory work;

• monitoring procedures to ensure the implementation of the TRP;

• organization and holding of sports events. nine0003

When implementing the TRP complex, we are guided by the following legal documents:

  • Federal Law of the Russian Federation of December 29, 2012 N 273-FZ “On Education in the Russian Federation”;
  • SanPiN 2.4.1.3049-13 – “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the device, content and organization of the mode of operation of the preschool educational institution”;
  • Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of October 17, 2013 N 1155 “On approval of the federal state educational standard for preschool education”; nine0018
  • Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 24, 2014 N 172 on the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” (TRP)

We must eliminate the deficit
kindergartens in 2015 – once and for all!
This is what life requires of us.
A. Yu. Vorobyov

How many kindergartens will be built in 2013, 2014 and 2015 under the Governor’s program “Kindergartens”: 85 + 85 + 85
Municipalities should ensure priority in allocating kindergarten places to families permanently residing in the Moscow region. Given these measures, the shortage of kindergartens should be eliminated by the end of 2015. nine0856

STEP 1 – ACCELERATE CONSTRUCTION AND STRONG CONTROL OF DEADLINES

It takes six to nine months to build a good kindergarten. The first kindergarten built according to the governor’s program was opened on the first of July in Podolsk.

Minister of the Construction Complex Marina Ogloblina: The heads of municipal districts and cities must submit copies of contracts to the regional Ministry of Construction along with the attached work schedule, which will show when the “zero” cycle ended, and when – “box” , and in which – the delivery of the object. nine0856

STEP 2 – VIDEO CONTROL OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF KINDERGARTEN

In order for any resident to monitor the pace of construction of kindergartens in real time, the Government of the Moscow Region organized the installation of video surveillance cameras.
How is the construction of a kindergarten in your municipality, you can see here.

STEP 3 – UNIFIED INFORMATION SYSTEM “ENROLLMENT IN DOE” OR ELECTRONIC QUEUE

From the first of July, the Unified Information System “Enrollment in preschool educational institutions” in the Moscow region began to function – a new system for enrolling a child in kindergarten via the Internet.

This service allows parents to see how the electronic queue is progressing, to exclude the filing of repeated applications for the same child, and to effectively use municipal property and budget funds.

“Electronic queue” allows you to choose 3 preferred institutions, and during the period of movement of the queue it is possible to temporarily send the child to an alternative kindergarten, keeping the queue in the preferred one. nine0003

After submitting an application online, parents must confirm the data with the municipal education authority (MOE) within 30 days, and after enrolling in a kindergarten, visit it for paperwork.

In addition to submitting an application via the Internet, all the traditional methods of enrolling in kindergartens remain: a personal appeal to the Moscow Regional Educational Institution, sending an application by mail or contacting the multifunctional center of the Moscow Region (MFC).

You can ask questions on the hotline: 8-800-550-50-30

Typical questions and answers of citizens

QUESTION #1: How can I put my child on the waiting list for kindergarten?
Instructions for obtaining the service “Acceptance of applications, registration and enrollment of children in educational institutions implementing the main educational program of preschool education (kindergartens)” is available on the Portal of State and Municipal Services of the Moscow Region (hereinafter referred to as the Portal of Services of the Moscow Region) at http://lk. mosreg.ru/files/douInstruction.pdf .

QUESTION #2: I can’t login to check the status of my child’s kindergarten enrollment.
To receive the service “Acceptance of applications, registration and enrollment of children in educational institutions implementing the main educational program of preschool education (kindergartens)”, you need to register yourself (obtain a user account (login and password)) on the MO Services Portal. nine0003

In case of any difficulties with authorization (login under an account), a password recovery service is available, located on the Internet at the link: http://lk.mosreg.ru/lkmo/auth/dou/restore.htm .

QUESTION № 3: How to find out the place in the queue for kindergarten?
You can check the status of the queue for kindergarten through the Services Portal of the Ministry of Defense according to your child’s birth certificate (series and number), or another document proving the identity of the child, the details of which were indicated when applying for registration in kindergarten, as well as through district department of education. nine0856
At the same time, the specified electronic service is available regardless of the method of application submission (in electronic form through the Services Portal of the Ministry of Defense or directly through the Department of Education).

QUESTION #4: How is a queue formed and what does a place in a queue mean?
The unified information system “Enrollment in a preschool educational institution in the Moscow region” (hereinafter referred to as the EIS preschool educational institution) takes into account the date of application and the age group of your child. Based on the date of birth of your child, his age is calculated on September 1 of the current year (the exact date of calculating the age must be specified in your district education department) and based on this age, the EIS preschool educational institution issues a position in the queue for this kindergarten among the children of your age group, taking into account the date of setting on account. The date of registration is the date of submission of the application. Place
in line is the number of children in line in your child’s age group.

QUESTION No. 5: How is the distribution to kindergartens? When will your child enter kindergarten?

EIS preschool educational institution automatically distributes places in kindergartens according to the following algorithm:

  • EIS DOW sorts the list of applications for enrollment by category of applications, i.e. “preferential” and applications on a general basis. They are automatically sorted by priority. nine0018

  • In each category, the queue is built based on the date of application and the category of benefits,
  • Places are being vacated in a specific kindergarten in a certain age group,
  • EIS preschool selects applications that were submitted to this kindergarten and in the same age group. The calculation of age goes to the date adopted by the date of calculation according to the administrative regulations of the municipal district, then according to this algorithm, there is a sequential distribution of places in the specified kindergarten in this age category for vacant places. nine0018

QUESTION No. 6: Why is your child’s place in the electronic register of future pupils of preschool educational institutions changing?

  • When registering a child in the AIS “Enrollment in a preschool educational institution”, there were 2 children in the family. Then the third child was born, the family became large and, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, received the primary right to enroll in a preschool educational institution. This child immediately rises higher in the register, and the rest of the children move lower. nine0018

  • After registering the child in the AIS “Enrollment in a preschool educational institution”, the parent got a job in the prosecutor’s office, the court, the Investigative Committee or the police. The child receives an extraordinary or priority right to enroll in a preschool educational institution in accordance with Federal laws, rises higher in the register, and the rest of the children move lower.
  • After registering a child in the AIS “Enrollment in a preschool educational institution”, the parent or child received a disability. The child receives the primary right to enroll in a preschool educational institution in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation. The child rises higher in the register, and the rest of the children move lower. nine0018

  • After registering the child in the IS of the preschool educational institution, the family moved to another municipality in the Moscow region. Children in the municipality who follow the child first go up in the queue.

QUESTION No. 7: The data on the Portal of State and Municipal Services of the Moscow Region (pgu.mosreg.ru) is incorrect. What to do?
After a citizen submits an application on the Service Portal of the Ministry of Defense for receiving the service “Acceptance of applications, registration and enrollment of children in educational institutions implementing the main educational program of preschool education (kindergartens)”, the possibility of further editing is not provided. nine0856
If you sent an application with erroneous data, you have the right to contact the district department of education to clarify them.

QUESTION No. 8. How can I change the selected kindergarten?
To resolve the issue of changing the preferred kindergarten, you must contact the department of education in your area. It is impossible to make changes through the MO Services Portal (through the Application Form).

QUESTION No. 9. Will the application date change when moving to another municipal area, when the child is on the waiting list for kindergarten? nine0831
Yes, it will change. When moving to another municipal district, you need to apply for registration with the district department of education at the new place of residence.

QUESTION No. 10: Need information about the child’s position in kindergarten.
When receiving information on the MO Services Portal about the order of a child in kindergartens of municipalities of the Moscow Region, associated with the messages: “More than one record with such data was found”, “A child with the specified data was not found”, you must contact the departments (departments, committees, etc. ) .p.) formation of local self-government bodies of municipalities of the Moscow region. nine0856
Contact information is available on the official website of the local self-government body of the municipality of the Moscow Region.

QUESTION #11: What does the status “No child with the specified data” mean?
This status does not mean that your child is not in the queue (in case you applied for registration in a kindergarten), and perhaps when submitting an application to the district department of education, the details of the birth certificate were not entered, or the details of the birth certificate were entered incorrectly Your child. In this case, your child is in line. nine0003

To clarify the issue, you have the right to contact the department (department, committee, etc.) of the formation of the local self-government body of the municipality of the Moscow Region.

Contact information is available on the official website of the local self-government body of the municipality of the Moscow Region.

QUESTION No. 12: In what cases is it necessary to apply to the district department of education, even if the application is submitted through the MoD Service Portal?

You will need to contact the Department of Education even if you applied through the MoD Service Portal in the following cases:

  • if benefits were indicated when applying through the MoD Services Portal, enrollment requirement for health reasons,
  • if after submitting the application he was assigned the status of “Confirmation of documents”,
  • if you want to change the previously selected kindergarten,
  • if in the search for the entered data the message “Found more than one record with such data” appears. nine0018

At the same time, you must have with you the original documents proving the identity of the child (birth certificate or otherwise), confirming the right to benefits or the need to be enrolled for health reasons, as well as confirming the right to represent the interests of the child (in the case of filing an application by a legal representative).

Question No. 13: What categories of benefits apply when registering for kindergarten?

  • Children of judges (FZ RF No. 3132-1 dated 06/26/1992 On the status of judges in the Russian Federation)

You can place here your own materials for the lessons of the Russian language and literature.

How to post your material and get a certificate of publication >>>

If other users of the site like the material, we will transfer it to the paid section Best Materials, and you will be given the status of Teacher for two months. In addition, you can free download Certificate of publication of material on the Internet .

Your material will be checked by the administrator and posted within 2-3 days.

  • Please note that the site is dedicated to the Russian language, materials on the Russian language are accepted for any school class, Russian as a foreign language, literature, the style of the Russian language, and history. The rest of the work will be ignored.
  • We do not post materials previously posted on other sites.

Log in to see the submission form.

  • Organize everything you do so that materials can be easily cut and distributed. Either the material should take up an A4 page (or a little less), or several full pages will be printed, or the page should be cut into cards. Don’t make one full page and two more sentences on the second. This will not save paper, and the students will lose the second page anyway. If this happens, change the font size so that everything fits on the page or fits on 1, 5 – 2 pages in large letters.
  • If you plan to cut the cards, be aware of the distance around the cut line.
  • If you’ve prepared sentences for parsing, line spacing should be large (so there’s room for underlining) and leave an empty space for the sentence outline.
  • Tables, word lists and algorithms fit on one page.
  • Use standard fonts so others can use your content. If your unusual font is not installed on another computer, all beauty will break.
  • If you insert dots instead of letters in cases of the same type, use autocorrect characters, this will help you make a card quickly.

MGM Offers Working Parents Child Care Discounts

    • Company’s announcement came before school resumed remotely in Clark County on Monday
    • Only ‘Big Six’ casino operator in Nevada to offer its employees such support to date
    • MGM will continue to explore solutions, understand working parents’ needs through school year

Sole Nevada casino operator to assist

Casino company MGM Resorts International announced Friday that it would offer its workers discounts on child care, computer equipment, and tutoring. The news came ahead of Clark County School District (CCSD) children resuming their studies Monday via distance learning.

only ‘Big Six’ Nevada casino operator to offer any such assistance

So far, MGM is the only ‘Big Six’ Nevada casino operator to offer any such assistance to its working families. Representatives of Boyd Gaming, Caesars Entertainment, Las Vegas Sands, Station Casinos, and Wynn Resorts remained unresponsive to the Las Vegas Review-Journal‘s multiple requests for comment.

Tweeting about the announcement, the Review Journal said child care costs were a prime concern for Nevada employees who are not working remotely:

Access to affordable child care tops the list of concerns for many Nevada working employees who cannot work from home https://t.co/bzmaheb1Uf

    — Las Vegas Review-Journal (@reviewjournal) August 23, 2020

    MGM, king of care

MGM recently said it was working towards understanding the requirements of its staff and “exploring possible solutions that could be implemented quickly. ” The owner of the first Vegas casino to reopen in June said feedback from employees with schoolchildren helped guide it to create the support program. MGM spokeswoman Callie Driehorst explained:

Our goal is to be part of the solution for these parents.”

Staff can also avail themselves of the company’s Employee Working Parents Network Group. This online platform directs users to support channels and enables them to share resources with a network of working parents from the local area.

Driehorst said MGM’s commitment to the program was ongoing. She added that the Paradise, Nevada-based casino operator would “explore possible solutions and understand developing needs” in line with the continuing school year.

MGM has more than ten employee network support groups. These include African American, Asian Pacific Islander, Hispanic and Latino, interfaith, professional women’s, and veterans’ network groups.

    Easing pandemic pressure

While the Expanded Federal Medical Leave Act allows parents ten weeks of paid leave (at two-thirds regular pay), it’s a temporary stay of execution for many.

Amy Matthews, SPHR, human resources/business development for the Nevada Association of Employers, said the labor law was “only to be used for parents who have to stay home with their children because schools are closed or because only distance-learning is provided.”

“The hard truth is […] you can’t be a cocktail waitress at home. You can’t do plumbing from home,” Matthews counter-argued.

In a July 13-27 Gallup poll, it was revealed that 36% of K-12 parents were in favor of their kids returning to school in person, down from 56% in May, early June. These preferences have shifted due to parents’ concerns about their children contracting the COVID-19 virus.

Commercial Truck Insurance For Owner Operators

When you are an owner-operator, you’ll need to obtain your own commercial truck insurance. A requirement before getting on the road, “trucker’s insurance” is available from dozens of different companies and with a variety of different options to choose from.

Most operators will work with a broker to find the cheapest rates possible on an annual basis.

And you’ll need to write a check before your insurance policy kicks in. The issue is that it’s not as easy as signing a policy and finding the cheapest insurer on the market. There is a lot to consider when you’re a trucker, and being liable for your actions on the road is a major responsibility that can bankrupt you immediately in the event of an accident.

    Call Now 405-776-1989

You’ll be obtaining insurance, but you’ll also be forging an alliance with an insurance company that you need to trust. When you go to get insurance, you’ll be talking to:

    • Independent agents
    • Sales staff

And then you’ll come across the various insurance company types. Some companies act as a one-stop-shop wherein they’ll offer insurance of all types to anyone that comes through the door. You’ll also find that there are insurers that:

    • Specialize in commercial truck insurance
    • Insure only fleets
    • Specialize in certain niches within the field (i.e. owner-operators)

There are also companies that handle tens of thousands of operators, while others work only with large fleets or just a handful of different trucking outfits.

But there is something every driver should know: choose the truck insurance specialist. Why?

The smaller, non-specialized insurers do not understand the industry or the needs of truckers. Imagine carrying specialized freight that costs tens of millions of dollars. This freight is unlikely to be covered under your normal insurance.

The specialized company will allow for trip-altered insurance that is a one-off and will cover the freight.

You’ll also avoid those nights when you pull into a weigh station and are held by a police officer because your insurance isn’t on file with your home registration state. Non-specialists often do not know motor-carrier filing options or all about the MCS-90 endorsement. State limitations on wide load and high loads may also not be known, leaving you less prepared if the unexpected happens when on the road.

Commercial truck insurance specialists are also much faster.

Rather than waiting for days for an investigator to come and examine the truck following an accident, a specialist knows that you’re losing money when not on the road. Efficiency is what you’re paying for with insurance, and a specialized insurer will allow you to get back on the road as quickly as possible – no waiting for insurance adjusters.

    5 Trucker Insurance Fundamentals

Don’t Get Fooled by Cheap Commercial Truck Insurance Quotes

When all of the policies look the same, you’ll need to go back to the fundamentals when making the right choice for your insurance. The fundamentals that you need to be most familiar with include:

    1. The experienced company knows how the trucking industry work. They have stayed in business because they know the industry and they’re worth every penny.
    2. Insurers need to have enough reserves to be able to safely provide coverage to drivers. Check the company’s financial records and pay close attention to reserves.
    3. You need to know what you’re paying for, and what you could be paying an additional fee for. Obtain bids and quotes from several companies to find the right amount you should be paying.
    4. What is included in your policy? Can a policy be adapted to your unique situation? What contingencies exist?
    5. In the end, all of the previous points come down to one thing: value. Are you getting the best coverage possible from an insurer you can trust at a price you can afford? If so, you’re getting good value for your money.

When purchasing commercial truck insurance, you need to consider the whole package. This insurance isn’t cheap, but it’s worth paying more for if the offering protects you further.

    Commercial Trucking Insurance Types

    • Commercial Auto Liability
    • Non-trucking liability
    • Physical damage
    • Motor truck cargo
    • General liability
    • Refrigerated Freight
    • Food vendor
    • Inland marine
    • Occupational Hazard

There are several types of commercial truck insurance.

The right choice for you depends on what your position is:

    • Owner operator insurance
    • Motor carrier insurance
    • Private carrier insurance

And then there are other variants:

    • Are you leasing the truck?
    • Are you working under your own authority?

This is why so many people go with insurance brokers because they’ll fill in all of these holes for you, so you can get the right insurance for your needs. Unfortunately, insurance companies are unforgiving – if it isn’t covered in your policy, they won’t cut you a break.

What Does Commercial Insurance Cover For Truck Drivers?

    Call Now 405-776-1989

This title is slightly misleading because truck insurance may or may not cover everything I am about to list. Instead, a lot of the coverage is circumstantial or provided as additional coverage that is available at an added cost.

The insurance coverage that may be provided, includes:

    • Cargo Insurance: Available with virtually every policy. This insurance will cover the cargo that you’re hauling. It’s important to pay close attention to maximum coverage limitations.
    • Non-trucking Liability Insurance: Liability cover for when you’re not under dispatch. For example, if you’re driving the truck home and get into an accident, you would be covered.
    • Physical Damage Cover: Required when leasing and often good to maintain. This cover will provide the cost of replacing or fixing your vehicle if it’s been damaged in an accident. This may also be called “collision insurance” or “comprehensive insurance.”
    • Liability Insurance: A standard. This insurance will provide coverage to you in the event that you’ve caused damage to a person or someone’s property.
    • Bodily Injury Insurance: Typically rolled into liability insurance, this insurance provides an umbrella coverage for your injuries and any passengers.
    • Medical Payment Insurance: Medical concerns following an accident are covered under Medical Payments insurance. Not available in all states, this insurance will pay for the medical bills of yourself and any passengers in the vehicle.
    • Uninsured Motorist Insurance: If the opposing driver does not have insurance, you’ll be covered. This covers you in the event that the opposing driver doesn’t have insurance or doesn’t have enough insurance.
    • Trailer Interchange Insurance: An insurance option that covers the trailer if used under an interchange agreement.
    • Worker’s Compensation: Insurance provided if you have employees. This insurance will protect employees if they’re hurt or disabled on the job.
    • Umbrella Insurance: In the event that you surpass the covered liability insurance, an umbrella insurance will kick in.

Your insurance may cover all or some of the items listed above. Every state has its own minimums that must be met by all drivers, and you’ll need to investigate these limits for yourself. The insurance company that you choose will be able to inform you of the minimum required insurance by law.

Questions to Ask Before Signing a Policy

Signing a policy without reading over the terms or asking pertinent questions is a big no-no. The following questions should be asked to a broker or sales agent:

    • If I raise my deductible, how much money can I save?
    • What are the deductibles on my policy?
    • What are my coverage limits?
    • What additional coverage is offered?
    • How can I obtain a discount on my policy?

Policies can be very expensive, and if you’re willing to pay a $500 deductible for physical damage insurance, you can often have your premiums lowered. Deductibles can go very high, and the higher the deductible, the less you’ll pay for premiums.

But be cautious when raising the deductible: you will need to pay your deductible before insurance kicks in their contribution.

Coverage limits must also be monitored with diligence.

If only $100,000 is provided for cargo insurance and you haul cargo worth millions, you’ll have coverage that leaves you liable for millions of dollars. You can alter your coverage limits to reduce rates, but this can lead to liability issues.

Always talk to the sales agent or broker to discuss your cargo insurance needs.

You never know what coverage you’ll need for your next load, so you may need one-off adjustments. You’ll pay for these limit adjustments, but it’s better to be covered than to be liable for cargo. Companies specializing in commercial truck insurance should have flexible options available, and you need to inquire about these adjustments.

And before you sign on to any policy, take the time to read through the policy in its entirety.

How Much Does Commercial Truck Insurance Cost?

The average cost of truckers insurance is just under $800. Specialty policies average in the mid $600’s and the cost rise up to $982 for owner-operators.

Your rate will vary based on your driving record, USDOT Authority, type of vehicle, trip range, unique coverage requirements, etc…

Truck drivers: what you should know about the profession

Truck driver ( American truck driver ) is one of the most demanded and highly paid professions in America. To enter the profession, a person must be over 21 years old, have legal status in the country and have a valid CDL class A license. Experience is not important. Therefore, immigrants choose to work as a truck driver immediately after moving to America. To work as a driver in the States, the first thing a new immigrant needs to do is get a SDL license. To obtain a driver’s license, future truck drivers must take the following steps:

    • Prepare a paperwork package and submit it to the state DMW.
    • Pass a theory exam consisting of three tests (General knowledge, Combination vehicle, Air brake).
    • Prepare for the practical exam: on your own or at a driving school.
    • Successfully pass the three parts of the theory exam:
      • Checking the car before the flight.
      • Transport management base.
      • Driving on the road.
    • Visit a DMV office to obtain commercial rights.

In our blog, we have detailed what the process of preparing and passing the CDL exams for a truck driver in New York looks like.

Working as a truck driver in the USA: what is the salary of a CDL driver

The salary of a truck driver depends on several factors:

Driving experience: a beginner without experience receives, on average, 50-60 cents per mile. When transporting dangerous goods – 70-80 cents per mile.

Trucker Criteria: Truck driver with own vehicle or company truck. For example, with constant employment on their own track, a CDL driver can earn an average of $180,000 per year or more.

Cargo risk level: all truckers who transport chemical or explosive cargo are paid higher. The average driver salary in the US is $59,925 per year. However, it may vary depending on the above factors and the state in which the person works.

US and Canada Truck Driver Salary Guide

    2019-11-09

What are the US and Canadian Truck Driver Salaries? How much can you really earn as a professional driver?

This is by far one of the most frequently asked questions for those who are planning to pursue a career as a truck driver and for those truck drivers who already work as a driver but are looking for greener pastures.

After all, if the job doesn’t meet your financial needs and expectations, you don’t need to waste your time exploring a career in trucking anymore.

Benefits of being a truck driver

    • No secondary education required
    • Relatively short training time required
    • Jobs abound
    • Pay can be profitable in specialized niches and with some of the best trucking companies
    • 9015 USA1

      — Average truck driver salary / Canada

These figures show annual wage rates as well as hourly wages for truck drivers in the US and Canada.

These numbers are valid as of August 2018. Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Labor statistics bureaus, as of August 8, 2018

      1. Salary of the truck driver – average annual wage in the United States $ 45 570
      2. Salary of the truck – USA Average High School $ 21.80
      3. OTR Trucker salary $44,420

Government of Canada – Labor Statistics, August 8, 2018

      1. Truck driver salary – Canada $45,000 – Canadian truck driver salary appears to be regionally determined, east coast provinces pay the lowest wages, while Montreal and some major western cities pay higher rates on average.
      2. Average Hourly Rate – Truck Driver – Canada – $21.48/hr

WARNING from published truck driver pay rates

      • Use these numbers as reference . Pay rates will vary from niche to niche, company to company, job description for a particular job, etc.
      • Check companies of interest via email or in person. You can read some payroll figures on the internet that are inflated in order to attract new blood to the industry.
      • Online salaries are often incorrect. Some salaries found on the Internet calculate a small number of salaries for the average wage and are not an accurate reflection of the true average. Some salaries are calculated in owner operator salaries, which skew the results and make the average truck driver salary higher than it actually is

WARNING: Beware of what you read online about truck driver salaries. They are often inaccurate.

The professional truck driver salary shown in this article is current and should only be used as a guide and indicator to know the specific driver job or the company you are researching or working for pays fairly.

For the most accurate professional driver salary data, it is best to refer directly to pay for a specific driver job with your trucking company.

The highest paid truck drivers – according to the states

3 main factors that usually determine how much they pay the driver of the truck in the United States, determine:

      • Summer experience
      • Location
      • 51

BUT DO NOT THINK THIS WAY FROM WHAT YOU SEE!

Truck driver pay rate MAY appear different in some states.

But be aware that these “high paying states” for truck driver salaries can also be high cost of living states. So for what sounds like a decent salary, it really isn’t when the indexed cost of living is also high.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HIGH PAYING CAR JOB, the secret is to look for a state where the pay is high and the cost of living is low.

Here you will find the highest truck driver salaries on the SeekCapital list. These figures take into account the salary and cost of living index in the state.

          How truckers’ income is calculated

Most truck drivers in North America are unpaid. Their earnings are based on mileage, with some jobs paying extra money for various other duties.

We personally don’t like this method, but unfortunately it has become the gold standard here in North America. Sometimes there is extra money for pickup, delivery, border crossing, waiting time/delay, security bonuses, service bonuses, etc.

Some drivers are paid by the hour for local and city work.

In our research, I was interested to know that most companies indicated that a company driver would earn an average of 10,000 miles per month. I find it hard to believe with the introduction of the EOBR system and the current hours of operating rules.

Truck Driver Salary – 5 Influence Factors

There are several variables that will determine how much a truck driver can expect.

          1. Type of cargo transportation – Off-road (OTR), short-term, regional, local cargo, LTL cargo, dedicated flights, team driving
          2. Cargo niche – General cargo (van work), tanker work liquid cargo), oversized cargo, road haulers, flatbed, heavy lift, temperature controlled freight, platforms, ice road road transport
          3. Transport company – each company pays differently
          4. Truck driver experience. Years of CDL driving experience can help you earn higher wages.
          5. Where do you live – Every state in the US and every Canadian province has different pay rates for truck drivers. Pay may vary from city to city within a state or province.

How is a truck driver’s salary calculated?

There are 3 main ways to pay for truck drivers:

          • MIDOY + Extra
          • HOULY SAMALY
          • percent

          GARP

is the oldest method mileage set by the trucking company where the driver works.

There is some controversy and dissatisfaction among truckers with this method. Some employers (trucking companies) use different mileage calculation software.

Practical miles — Most programs offer mileage calculations for practical miles.

Shortest Miles – Shortest route miles certainly benefit the company and save money. But the driver gets a short shift as he can’t always follow the shortest route due to restrictions on heavy trucks, low bridges, etc.

Hub miles around a construction site, stopping away from a truck, or taking an unplanned scenic route. Very few trucking companies pay miles as it will certainly cost them far more money than a computer mileage program can offer.

          Extra charge on mileage

Along with paying miles, companies also pay some of the following:

          • Pickups and Drops – LTL pays mileage and a rate for each delivery and each drop along the driver’s route. For example, a driver with 5 pickups and drops per run, $15 per pickup and drops, will earn an additional $120 (15 X 8 = $120, 1st + last usually not paid)
          • Waiting time payment. One of the most contentious issues related to driver pay is waiting time pay. Some companies pay for the driver’s delay time, and many do not.

Trucking companies don’t like to ask the shipper or recipient for extra money for truck delays, so there’s often no extra money to give to the driver.

However, our investigations tell us that some companies will charge for truck delays to their customers, but do NOT pass the money on to the driver. To be honest, the waiting time should be given to the driver in all cases. A fair hourly rate should apply to all delays faced by the driver.

There are traffic delays, equipment repair delays, loading and unloading delays that are not the fault of the driver, he loses money because he is only paid when the truck is moving.

Due to watch regulations in conjunction with the implementation of EOBR, waiting time payment for drivers is important for fair payment to the truck driver.

          • New York / New Jersey Mileage Rating – If the company operates in the US Eastern Seaside States of New York and New Jersey, a higher mileage rating is often paid to compensate for the longer delays experienced by drivers.
          • Layover $ – Each company has its own pay per click formula. The delay can be paid if the truck driver is delayed for an excessive amount of time. Some pay a flat rate per transition, while others pay a specific formula such as the first 8 hours without pay, the next 8 hours at a flat rate of $125, and the next 8 hours at $15 per hour.
          • Remuneration upon employment Some companies pay a driver for a job and then pay a remuneration when hired to pay the driver for a certain period of time. Many drivers have mentioned to us that they are often not paid a job bonus. A hired bonus is not a good reason to work for a particular company. Good companies often don’t have to recruit drivers to work for them with a bonus sign.
          • Border crossings – Some companies pay a flat fee if the driver needs to cross an international border. This practice may be somewhat outdated nowadays as border crossings are mostly done by pre-clearance methods and delays can be minor, if any. If the driver is delayed at customs while crossing the border, we hope that the company will give the driver time to wait.
          • Safety Bonus – Some trucking companies have a program where they reward their drivers for driving safely. For example, if the driver has no hours of service violations, no incidents or accidents, and hassle-free inspections, he may receive some bonus payment from the company.
          • Fuel Saving Bonus – Some companies pay the driver an extra cent or two miles for fuel savings. By checking computer printouts from the truck, the company can take a close look at every step taken by the driver on the trip. If they feel that the driver saved them money and drove the truck in a way that helped lower fuel costs, they may be rewarded with a small extra bonus for that.

          HOURLY CAR PAY

Today, more and more truck drivers in the trucking industry are looking for hourly paid truck driving jobs.

Hourly Pay Benefits for Truck Drivers

          • This is a great form of security for knowing how much money you’re making each week. Regardless of weather conditions, if the truck breaks down or the traffic drops, the driver’s pay will be constant.
          • The company is more likely to give an indexed increase in the cost of living with this payment method.
          • With strict watch usage regulations, this payment method takes the stress out of the driver. The driver is more likely to be a safer driver as he will not feel pressured if he pays by mileage. The driver will be much less in a hurry.
          • This method is easier to trace for the company and the driver.
          • There is less chance that the company will receive a small payment from the driver, as EOBR will accurately record the driver’s hours worked.

We are promoting this method of paying the truck driver for the above reasons. There are trucking companies that have OTR (long haul) flights that have moved to hourly rates, which we think is a big step towards fair driver pay.

          PERCENTAGE PAY

Percentage pay for the driver’s company is not common. However, we hear about small transport companies that pay interest.

A percentage of the load charge is more often offered to the owner of the operator.

I would definitely not recommend the company’s driver percentage. This would be a very unreliable payment method and difficult to verify.

With regard to the owner operator’s percentage fee, much of the financial success of this payment method will be strictly dependent on the trucking company that the owner operator leases.

Tips for finding the best paying jobs

          • Smaller trucking companies – Consider screening well-managed small and medium trucking companies for truck driving jobs.
          • Non-advertising media – Media that rarely advertises for drivers in printed publications may also be a good choice.
          • Benefit Packages – take a look at trucking companies with benefit packages. Some companies offer benefit packages, but take your time to check the details to make sure they’re not overpriced if you’re paying for them or part of them. Not all benefit packages are cost effective.
          • Know your net income, not just your gross profit -U Math. It doesn’t really matter much to your gross salary. More importantly, you need to know what’s left in your pocket after everyone else snatched some of your paycheck. Factor in deductions such as income tax, pension, unemployment insurance, medical expenses, etc.
          • Stay away from interest-bearing transactions . This is a risky business and almost always turns out to be a nightmare.
          • Experienced drivers CAN make more money and are the most attractive to SMART carriers. Once upon a time in the trucking industry, yes, it really was. However, this is not always the norm today. Some trucking companies will have a sliding scale where after a few years, and then after 5 years with this particular company, the driver’s mileage will increase by a few cents or so per mile. If you find a carrier you are happy with and go unsupervised, some of them will be promoted for years of service.
            Example:
            – After 2 years, additional 0.01/mile (about $1,000 per year) – $82 per month
            – After 3 years, additional 0.03/mile
            – Then 5 years, additional 0.05 / miles
Let’s count again. Don’t be fooled by a few cents per mile . Keep in mind that as you earn this increase, the cost of living will most likely increase more than your mileage.
          • Consider a company that pays by the hour. Working for a transportation company that pays by the hour or by salary can be a safe and reliable way. Predictable weekly pay can be a good guarantee for some drivers.

Truck driver wages on the rise in North America?

Some North American trucking companies do not properly pay drivers for time spent driving and away from home, along with significant out-of-pocket expenses. As a result, there is a shortage of truck drivers in North America.

Until recently, trucking companies weren’t smart enough to do anything about it.
