  • As an early childhood environment we set the stage for the type of
learning that will take place within the classroom. It’s where the
main activities of the day happen, such as playing, eating,
sleeping, and washing hands. We go beyond these basic activities to
provide a high quality environment for young children that supports
a program’s philosophy and curriculum. We believe that by focusing
on specific elements within the classroom environment will support
curriculum and therefore help foster children’s learning.
  • We ensure a healthy and safe environment by providing a keypad
entry for the families enrolled as well as fenced in playgrounds.
We also make sure that all staff members are CPR and First Aid
    certified.
  • Hours Of Operation: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, M-F

As a parent of a 1-1/2 year old I feel very comfortable leaving my child at the KinderCare Learning Center. My child’s teacher greets me and my child when entering the classroom and informs me of anything that I need to know when I pick up my child everyday. I feel that my child is safe and happy and well taken care of there. Ms. Lucy always gives me pictures of my child involved in fun activities and she keeps me informed of of my child’s growth and development.

My children attended the KinderCare off Cooper Lake Road in Smyrna, Georgia. They have always been very friendly and professional, but they really won me over when they went over and beyond to help my child through a tough time when his dad had to move for a job before the rest of the family could relocate. My child is three years old and he did not understand why his dad wasn’t around as much anymore. So he cried a lot and was very needy during that time. They would take extra time with him and helped him with that transition quite a bit and made some accommodations so he wouldn’t have to have any more huge changes while his dad was gone. We finally moved after the school year was over, but I really hated to leave KinderCare.

Russian Pioneers: Tampa Bay Lightning | National Hockey League

During the off-season before the start of the 2020-21 championship, which is due to begin on January 1, NHL.com/ru talks about Russian hockey players in all clubs in the league. Today we are talking about the Tampa Bay Lightning.

    Total number of Russians: 25

Role: four goalkeepers – seven defenders – 14 forwards

Pioneers: Anatoly Semenov, Alexander Ulanov, Igor Selivanov

Anatoly Semyonov was one of the first Russians to come to the NHL before the start of the playoffs in the 1989-90 season as a national hockey star. In 1988, he became an Olympic champion, and in 1990 he helped Dynamo Moscow win the USSR championship for the first time since 1954. Immediately after the end of the season in his homeland, Semenov came to the Oilers, played in two playoff games and helped the team win the fifth Stanley Cup in seven years. But his name is not engraved on the Stanley Cup, as he did not play the required number of meetings.

Semyonov moved to Tampa in 1992 after two seasons with Edmonton. He became the first Russian player in the history of the Lightning, but in the 1992-93 season, the striker played only 13 matches for the club, in which he scored 5 (2 + 3) points. In the course of that regular season, “Tampa” traded Semenov to “Vancouver”, where he played in 62 meetings and scored 44 (10 + 34) points.

The first prominent Russian in the history of “Tampa” was striker Alexander Selivanov. He was selected by the Philadelphia in the 19th draft.94 years under the overall number 140, but did not play a single game for the Flyers. The Flyers almost immediately traded the striker to Tampa, receiving a fourth-round pick in 1995 in return. As a result, Selivanov played for the Lightning for five seasons and played 304 matches in which he scored 155 (78 + 77) points, 50 of them in the majority. He is still the second Russian scorer and sniper of the team. In addition, he leads the “Tampa” among the Russians in terms of penalty time (271 minutes).

Another of the first Russians in the Lightning was the well-known defender Igor Ulanov, who has 14 seasons in the NHL. He came to Tampa during the 1995-96 season, when he became part of an exchange with Chicago. In total, Ulanov played for the Lightning in three seasons, having spent a total of 115 matches and scoring 20 (5+15) points with 217 (!) penalty minutes. In general, Ulanov is considered one of the toughest Russian defenders in the NHL. In 739 games, he scored 1,151 penalty minutes. We can say that it was with him in Tampa that the love for powerful Russians began, but more on that later.

Video: Kucherov scored at least 30 goals for the sixth time in a row

Top scorer: Nikita Kucherov: 547 (221+326) points

Everything is predictable and expected here. In just seven incomplete seasons with the Lightning, Kucherov is the fourth-best scorer and scorer in the club’s history. Only Martin St. Louis (953), Vincent Lecavalier (874) and Stephen Stamkos (832) are ahead in points. The Russian 26-year-old striker could well become the first player in Tampa history to score 1,000 points with them. But don’t discount the 30-year-old Stamkos.

Kucherov had his most successful streak so far in the 2018-19 season, when in 82 regular season games he scored a fantastic 128 (41+87) points for the modern era and became the NHL’s top scorer, receiving the Art Ross Trophy. In addition, at the end of that season, other hockey players in the league chose Kucherov as the best player of the season (Ted Lindsay Prize), and members of the professional association of hockey journalists awarded him the Hart Trophy as the most valuable player.

Kucherov, drafted 58th overall by the Lightning in 2011, scored at least 100 points in two consecutive seasons. Last season, shortened due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Russian striker scored 85 (33 + 52) points and finished seventh in the list of scorers.

Video: Andrey Vasilevsky’s best saves this season

Special spot: Andrey Vasilevsky and Nikolai Khabibulin

Total in Tampa history, not including drafted 233rd overall in 2002 and not playing a single game in the NHL Vasily Koshechkin, there were four Russian goaltenders. But Evgeny Konstantinov mainly played for the Lightning farm club and spent a total of only 20 minutes in the NHL. And for Yevgeny Nabokov, Tampa was the last club in his brilliant playing career, when he played 11 games in the 2014-15 season and was put up for a draft waiver.

Yes, Nabokov is a Russian NHL legend, but when we talk about Russian Lightning goaltenders, the first thing we think of is Khabibulin and Vasilevsky. It was Khabibulin who became the first domestic goalkeeper to win the Stanley Cup. And he did it in the “Tampa” in the 2003-04 season. In that playoff, Khabibulin played phenomenally and started all 23 games at the start. In them, he scored 16 wins with five (!) shutouts, conceding an average of 1. 71 goals per game and reflecting 93.3% of shots. Cosmic figures, but the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy was Lightning forward Brad Richards. Total at 192 matches for “Tampa” in the regular season (four seasons) Khabibulin scored 83 wins with 74 defeats, 28 draws and 14 shutouts.

Along with Khabibulin, Russian striker Dmitry Afanasenkov, whose name is on the silver bowl, also played all 23 matches for the Lightning in the winning Stanley Cup. In that playoff, he scored 3 (1+2) points.

Vasilevsky also won his Stanley Cup in 2020, and at the age of 25 he is already the Lightning’s record holder among goalkeepers in all significant indicators. Namely, by the number of matches played (260), matches at the start (250), victories (159), saves (7934), shutouts (21) and even by the number of points (Vasilevsky has 11 assists). It’s only the beginning! Vasilevsky is not only the present of Tampa, but also its future. Last summer, the Russian goalkeeper signed a new deal with the club for eight years until the end of the 2027-28 season. Then he will be already 34. And how much Vezin will be on his account by that time? One is already there.

Highest in the draft: Alexander Svitov, 1st round (No. 3), 2001

Remember how we said that in Tampa they loved powerful guys from Russia? In seasons 19Andrey Nazarov even played in 97-98 and 1998-99, but this was fully manifested in the 2001 draft. Then the Lightning in the first round under the overall third number chose the Russian overall forward Alexander Svitov (191 cm, 103 kg). A native of Omsk played for Tampa in two seasons, having spent a total of 74 games and scoring 11 (4 + 7) points in them with 62 penalty minutes. During the championship season in 2004, he was traded to Columbus. Then Svitov managed to play only 11 matches for the Lightning, so his name is not on the Stanley Cup.

It is noteworthy that in the same draft in 2001, “Tampa” in the third round under the overall 94th number took another overall Russian player Evgeny Artyukhin (193 cm, 116 kg). For the Lightning, he eventually played two seasons, in which he played a total of 145 games and scored 33 (10 + 23) points. On average, he spent only 9:42 on the ice and played more of a tough guy role, as evidenced by 241 penalty minutes.

Three incomplete seasons played in Tampa by defender Andrey Zyuzin, who was selected in the draft 1996 years under the second general number. But then he was chosen not by the Lightning, but by the San Jose. But in general, “Tampa” likes to choose the Russians in the draft. Here we can recall not only about Kucherov and Vasilevsky, but also, for example, about Nikita Gusev and Vladislav Namestnikov.

Video: BOS-TBL: Sergachev supported Gurd in the minority

Russians today: Andrei Vasilevsky, Nikita Kucherov, Mikhail Sergachev, Alexander Volkov

other Russian players. Initially, Mikhail Sergachev was selected by Montreal in the first round of the 2016 draft with the ninth overall number, but in the summer of 2017 he was traded to the Lightning, with whom he spent three full seasons. At the end of November, he signed a new three-year contract with Lightning.

In the last regular season, Tampa began to invite Russian striker Alexander Volkov from the farm club to the main team, who managed to play nine games and score one assist, and also played one match in the Stanley Cup final. The forward was selected in the 2017 draft in the second round under the general 48th number, and the following year, the Lightning in the third round under the 90th number took Russian defender Dmitry Semykin. He spent the last two seasons in the St. Petersburg SKA system, and on May 7 signed a three-year rookie contract with Tampa. According to Vice President and General Manager of the club Julien Brisbois, the agreement will come into effect from the 2020-21 season.

In addition, the Lightning hold the rights to several other Russian players. Striker Alexei Lipanov signed a three-year rookie contract with the club back in September 2017. The forward was selected in the third round of the 2017 draft with the 76th overall number, and spent the bulk of the 2019-20 season in the East Coast Hockey League for Orlando. Along with center forward Lipanov, defender Oleg Sosunov also plays for Orlando, whom the Lightning drafted in the 2016 sixth round at 178th number, and later signed him to a rookie contract. However, in August he was put up for a waiver draft.

“Tampa” in recent years, in general, actively chose the Russians in the draft. These are forward Maxim Groshev (2020), goalkeeper Amir Miftakhov (2020), forward Mikhail Shalagin (2019), mentioned Semykin (2018), Volkov (2017), Lipanov (2017) and Sosunov (2016).

Tampa Bay: the most Russian club in the league

The 2017-18 regular season will not begin soon, but with development camps already completed and training camps rapidly approaching, in the last month of summer we decided to analyze in detail the state of affairs in all clubs NHL.

Each day throughout August, NHL.com will be reviewing teams in a series of 31 for 31 articles. Strengths and weaknesses, analysis of the coaching staff and talented youth, prospects for Russian hockey players – we will talk about all this on a daily basis.

In this article we are talking about the Russian representation in the Tampa Bay Lightning.

How many Russians were in Tampa at all: 23 – four goalkeepers, six defenders, 13 forwards.

Tampa’s all-time leading Russian scorer: Nikita Kucherov with 234 (108 assists, 126) points in 285 games. The star forward has long left behind Alexander Selivanov (78 + 77 = 155 points in 304 matches), not to mention the rest of the Russians. Kucherov averages 0.82 points per game, and this figure is growing every season. And the Russian forward is going to play in Tampa until at least 2019.

The most colorful Russian in Tampa: two Russian fighters played in this club – Andrei Nazarov (101 penalty minutes in 40 matches) and Evgeny Artyukhin (241 minutes in 145 matches). Although the leader in fines is the same Selivanov (271).

Although the oversized Artyukhin (195 cm / 119 kg) does not like to be called a tough guy, but prefers the definition of “power forward”: “I never liked to fight, and none of their coaches forced me to do it. ” And it’s true – coach John Tortorella cheered when Eugene crushed everyone with power moves. I even put him in the first or second link, giving him playing time.

“I improved my skills with him,” said Artyukhin, who scored 33 (10+23) points in the club.

Tale about a Russian in Tampa: Only in this NHL team four Russian goalkeepers played at once – Evgeny Konstantinov (2 matches), Evgeny Nabokov (11), Andrei Vasilevsky (90) and, of course, Nikolai Khabibulin (192). With the Bulin Wall at the gate, the Lightning won their only Stanley Cup.

By the way, Vasilevsky’s dad – also Andrey – played at the gates of Salavat Yulaev, just like his son years later. But Vasilevsky Jr., as a child, started in the hockey section as a forward. He ran himself in the attack, scored goals. Only when the family moved from Tyumen to Ufa did they have to change roles, because there were not enough defenders and goalkeepers at the SU school.

Do you know that Andrei Vasilevsky managed to get a hat-trick? It’s kind of like the Gordie Howe hat-trick, only cooler. He managed to win the match in the AHL against Wilkes-Barry in 48 hours. Then he was called up to the NHL for a match against Minnesota, and also won. And at the same time, Andrei became a father. It happened on Christmas Day. Well, isn’t it a fairy tale?

Russians in Tampa in the 2017-18 season: if Montreal was considered the most Russian team in the NHL last season, now it is the Lightning. Let’s start with the lower leagues.

19-year-old defender Oleg Sosunov has a three-year, two-way contract that pays $0.724 million per season. A very large young man (204 cm / 102 kg). Born in Ryazan, he studied hockey at the Vityaz school, the last two years he played in the Lokomotiv system, and now he has left for North America – apparently, in the Western Hockey League. Tampa selected Sosunov in 2016 at number 178. Last season in Loko – zero points, 79 penalty minutes. The Lightning signed him on July 1.

20-year-old center Alexander Volkov has a three-year rookie deal worth $0. 864 million a year. The Muscovite, who made his first hockey steps in St. Petersburg, was selected in the last draft at number 48. And he was almost the first among all to sign a contract with an NHL club. Volkov says bluntly that he will start next season in Syracuse (AHL), where he will get stronger and adapt. In the future, it will be connected to the Tampa base.

19-year-old defender Mikhail Sergachev ($0.894 million a year for three seasons) was the first to start disintegrating the Russian colony in Montreal. In the morning he woke up and saw a bunch of messages on his phone. Everyone wrote to him: “Good luck in Tampa!” The player did not immediately understand what had happened. And when I found out, I was shocked. The Canadiens traded him for Jonathan Drouin and a conditional pick in the sixth round of the 2018 draft. Later, General Manager of “Montreal” Mark Bergevin will explain that Sergachev is a great defender, but he desperately needed Drouin. On the other hand, Lightning general manager Steve Yzerman, on the contrary, needed a young and promising defensive player . .. Yes, everything will be shown by the training camp. But it seems that Sergachev will quickly be attracted to the basis of “Tampa”.

24-year-old Vladislav Namestnikov, who was selected by the Lightning back in 2011 in the first round (No. 27), should make a breakthrough. Because this is a contract year ($1.938 million), and in 2018 we need to sit down at the negotiating table. And because Namestnikov is no longer a junior. He was attracted to the Russian team for the World Cup and the World Cup. Last season he even played on the first line with Kucherov. Scored 28 (10 + 18) points in 74 matches, but can improve performance.

The future of 23-year-old goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevsky, on the contrary, is very clear. He extended his contract with Tampa until 2020 and will earn $3.5 million per season. Another goaltender, Ben Bishop, has already been sent to Dallas. The bet is made on Vasilevsky, who should be the first number. His replacement is 34-year-old Peter Buday.

Video: TOP-TBL: Kucherov beautifully brought victory to Tampa

Finally, the club’s main star, on par with Steven Stamkos, is 24-year-old forward Kucherov, who scored 85 (40+45) points last season.

While visiting Tucson, expect beautiful architecture, leafy gardens, desert flora and fauna, traditional activities like gold prospecting, and an abundance of Mexican-style food and drink. Let’s see the best things to do in Tuscon:

    1. Go to the desert at the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum

Spread over 98 acres, the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum, which includes an aquarium, zoo, botanical garden, natural history museum and art gallery, is located west of Tucson. The museum is dedicated to educating visitors about the various types of flora and fauna that can be found in the Sonoran Desert. There are 200 species of desert animals and more than 1,000 plant species. This unusual museum is one of Arizona’s most visited attractions and attracts over 400,000 travelers a year. It consists of various exhibitions that provide both historical and contemporary explanations of wildlife and plant life. Some of them include “Rivers to the Sea”, “Cat Canyon” and “Life on the Rocks”.

    2.

    2. Hiking in Sabino Canyon

Sabino Canyon, located north of Tucson, is located in the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Coronado National Forest. The canyon offers great trails, majestic views, and opportunities for hiking and trekking. Surprisingly, given that the canyon is in the desert, Sabino Creek flows nearby, where there are waterfalls that you can admire and cross over the bridge. For visitors who prefer not to walk, a tram runs through the canyon, making nine stops along the way.

    3. Explore the Trails of Saguaro National Park

Part of the US National Park System, the park is actually divided into two separate sections east and west of Tucson. Parts of the Rincon Mountains, the Tucson Mountains, and the Sonoran Desert are located within the park. The name “saguaro” was given to the park after a local cactus that grows here, and visitors can see these cacti up close during one of the park’s many hikes. Hiking trails, long and short, are marked and accessible for all fitness and endurance levels, although the park advises visitors not to attempt long hikes in the more remote parts of the park during the summer months when temperatures rise significantly.

    4.

    4. Become a Botanist at Tucson Botanical Garden

If you’re looking for a walk in nature, check out the Tucson Botanical Gardens, a large complex of 16 individual gardens. The garden complex is spread over 5 acres and is renowned for providing moments of tranquil respite in the sometimes hectic city. The gardens feature the best of Arizona’s flora, including a nursery school, a zen garden, and a butterfly garden. The complex also houses a gallery that hosts rotating exhibits and installations on a variety of topics of botanical interest in Arizona, including desert plants.

The faculty also employs veterinarians and the zoo is one of the most beloved in the city, as the local population has raised money over the years to take care of the animals and provide them with the best level of care. Visitors can see animals from all over the world in the zoo, as well as local inhabitants.

    6. Explore Tohono Chul Park

Tohono Chul literally translates to “Desert Corner” and takes its name from Arizona’s indigenous people, the Tohono O’odham. The park actually consists of an on-site museum and focuses on conservation and education in the Sonoran Desert area. The museum started in the 1970s with a modest 48 aircraft and has grown into the powerful center it is today. The peak is often mistakenly thought to be the result of a dormant volcano, as the surrounding land is volcanic in nature and is said to have formed 20 million years ago. 10. Get on the set at the Old Tucson Studio

For those visitors who want to be closer to the stars, Kitt Peak National Observatory offers the perfect view of the night sky. The Astronomical Observatory is located atop Kitt Peak in the Quinlan Mountains and boasts the largest and most diverse astronomical equipment in the world, with 24 telescopes. Depending on the degree of interest of visitors to everything astronomical, you can choose a day or night tour, one of which tells the history of the observatory and the invention of the telescope, and the other begins at sunset and allows you to observe space through telescopes over the Arizona desert.

    13. Sweat Up Thumamok Hill

Known as “butt”, an isolated hill located west of Tucson, Tumamok Hill is used primarily as a transmitting station due to its high altitude. It houses radio, television, public safety transmitters, and an astronomical observatory with telescopes to observe the night sky. Visitors flock to the hill in search of hiking opportunities, although the terrain is difficult and therefore recommended for more experienced hikers. If you do go up, there are educational tours and lectures on the hill about the local history and ecological significance of the buta.

    14. Go off-road on Mount Lemmon

At over 9,000 feet, Mount Lemmon is the pinnacle of the Santa Catalina Mountains and has an observatory at its summit that is used for research purposes. Visitors wishing to walk through the caves, which maintain a steady 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius) year-round, can wander through the dwellings used by the Apache Indians in the olden days, but for those who prefer to stay on the surface land, Colossal Cave Mountain Park has plenty of other options. Among them are two museums, iconic statues, picnic areas, horseback riding and camping.

    18. Explore the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun Museum

The DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun is best described as an open-air museum featuring a range of exhibits and historic buildings located throughout the desert and founded by architect Ettore DeGrazia. The buildings are notable for the fact that traditional techniques and materials, such as cactus flooring, were used in their construction. Visitors can explore the grounds and various buildings such as the pottery studio, the haunted house, the nun’s house and many more. 19. Get away from it all in the Garden of Gethsemane

This park, located on the west bank of the Santa Cruz River, is open all day and is an oasis of coolness in the city if you feel like finding shade under one of the park’s many trees and looking at world. Join the Desert Gold Diggers Club and set out to explore one of the many areas of the Arizona Desert where gold is said to be found. You can either look for gold right in the water source, or use a rake and pickaxe to comb the ground and try to find a prize nugget in this way.

    21. Have a blast in Tombstone

Just beyond Tucson is the town of Tombstone. Once Tombstone was a booming area thanks to the abundance of silver found in the area, but now it no longer enjoys such good luck, but tourists can go here to see the real place of the former “wild west” that used to be Apache territory. The city is home to shooters and prospectors, and some of the old color is still preserved for those who want to see a piece of the past.

    23.

    23. Quench your thirst at one of Tucson’s microbreweries

Over the years, Tucson has become famous as a place where you can drink a glass of the freshest beer. Even if you are not a fan of beer, the quality of the products on offer will quench your thirst after a long hot day in the desert. In recent years, many traditional and trendy microbreweries have emerged, producing their products on site and acquainting visitors with the brewing process. But the most pleasant, perhaps, is to try the finished drink.

    24. Visit the Fort Lowell Museum

Built in 1873 on the outskirts of Tucson, Fort Lowell was used as a post by the US Army, which went out of business in 1891. Welcome to Stages Child Care

    Welcome to Stages Child Care

    Brunswick

    The
Stages Childcare Center location in Brunswick
was also born out of the desire to ensure that parents
in other areas could provide their children with excellent
care as well. The 9,000 square foot Stages in Brunswick
reveals a suite of eight classrooms reminiscent of a high-end
decor catalog while also being extremely functional. You
will notice a pleasing color palette full of tones like
green meadow, brick red and royal purple, combining them
with natural maple wood and warm beige colored accents.

    “We
were looking for a location for our own children, but
couldn’t find one that measured up to our expectations.
Most places were just glorified babysitting services.
It was impossible to find one that combined the love a
child needs with the love of learning we wanted our children
    to develop.”

    Being
locally owned and run as an independent center, we can
design our programs and establish pricing that meets the
needs of the community, not a franchise headquarters.
We offer and provide care that goes beyond traditional
    early childhood facilities.

    There
is an inviting richness that can be felt in every corner
of Stages Childcare Centers. Our approach is unique in
that we’re delivering the highest quality of childcare
possible at a very competitive price.

    There
isn’t a truly comparable program in the surrounding local
area. Our monthly tuition includes snacks, a hot catered
lunch, a superior environment and a structured
curriculum for every child. We throw in
    the hugs at no cost!!!

What is nursing care for newborns in the first months of life – Dobrobut clinic

Basic rules for caring for a newborn baby in the first days of life at home

Helping a child to quickly adapt to new conditions is the primary task of young parents. Compliance with the basic rules for caring for a newborn baby in the first days of life at home will be a good help in this.

The process of thermoregulation is being formed in the baby, his body is actively “rebuilding”. Based on this, the main task is to create the most comfortable conditions for him. Educational courses and books on the development and education of infants and advice from the health visitor and pediatrician will help with this. After examining the baby on the second day after discharge from the maternity hospital, the doctor will assess the general condition of the child, give advice on care, and advise the young mother on breastfeeding and the prevention of childhood diseases. Provided that the baby is healthy and develops in favorable conditions, the pediatrician should visit the child three times during the first month. Subsequent examination is carried out in the clinic.

Nursing care of newborns in the first months of life:

    • helping a young mother learn basic childcare skills;
    • assistance in organizing the daily routine;
    • consultation on various issues;
    • training in massage techniques and gymnastics in accordance with the age of the baby.

    Baby care products

You can buy a ready-made first-aid kit for a newborn in a pharmacy, or you can make it with the help of a health visitor. For complete baby skin care, you will need: cotton pads and buds, baby scissors with blunt ends, hydrogen peroxide, brilliant green, baby soap, powder, moisturizer and baby wipes. Baby skin care products should not contain mineral oils that make skin breathing difficult.

Daily toilet. It is performed before feeding, preferably at the same time. The baby’s face is washed with warm (boiled) water. The eyes are washed with a cotton swab from the outside to the inside. To treat the nose, use cotton swabs soaked in vaseline oil. After that, the auricles and behind the ear are treated with a damp cloth. Lastly, folds and armpits are treated. The patronage nurse will tell you about the details of caring for the mouth and face of the newborn during the first visit. Washing is done every time after urination and defecation.

Checklist for daily care of a healthy newborn:

    • morning wash;
    • oral treatment;
    • nose and ear care;
    • treatment of umbilical wound;
    • washing.

Instructions for caring for the navel and umbilical wound of a newborn baby

The navel heals in about two weeks. All this time it is necessary to strictly monitor the condition of the wound. To avoid injury and ingress of fibers, doctors do not recommend using cotton pads for processing.

Instructions for caring for the navel and umbilical wound of a newborn child:

    • put the baby on the changing table;
    • with the left hand, carefully spread the edges of the wound;
    • treat the wound with hydrogen peroxide;
    • remove blood crusts;
    • treat the wound with brilliant green.

On our website https://www.dobrobut.com/ you will find more information on the topic. Our pediatrician will help in organizing care for premature newborns after discharge from the hospital and will advise on the prevention of childhood diseases.

Tips for caring for the genitals of a newborn girl

A visiting nurse will tell a new mother about the differences in caring for a newborn boy and girl.

Tips for caring for the genitals of a newborn girl. It is necessary to wash the girl in the direction from the abdomen to the back. This is done to prevent infection from the anus. Put the child on the left hand, spread the legs with the palm of the right hand and, controlling the flow of water, wash the baby. Wipe dry and dust with powder.

Features of caring for a newborn boy. You can wash the boy in any direction. Water should be at room temperature.

A special cream and oil is used to care for the skin of the folds. Use baby cosmetics with natural ingredients.

    Feeding the baby

All recommendations for feeding newborns to a new mother will be given by a pediatrician. Let us recall only the main ones.

Feeding on demand. Doctors strongly recommend applying the baby when he wants to eat.

Feeding is therapy. Next to the mother, the baby calms down and quickly adapts to new conditions. In addition, for a child, this is also a kind of communication with his mother, which is very important in the first weeks and months.

Feeding on demand helps the mother produce as much milk as the baby needs.

More details about feeding and step-by-step care for a newborn after childbirth can be found on the pages of our website.

    Bathing rules

Pediatricians recommend bathing your baby every day. Three times a week, herbal preparations must be added to the bathing water. For this purpose, use chamomile, string, nettle, calendula. It is beneficial for the child’s skin and mental state, as the herbs relieve irritation, soothe and normalize night sleep. After bathing, dry your baby with a clean diaper or baby towel. Gently dab the child’s body, avoiding sudden movements. After bathing, you can use special products for the skin (moisturizer, oil).

How to understand your Amazon Vendor Manager

A successful collaboration with Amazon requires a good relationship with your vendor manager.

It’s important to understand who this person is, what are this person’s goals and what challenges they face.

    Who is the Vendor Manager?

A vendor manager is an internal employee of Amazon who acts as a substitute for Amazon. He or she is the main contact person for vendors. Vendor managers are busy people who have to cope with several tasks at the same time. A company’s area of responsibility for vendor support includes, among other things:

    • Turnover
    • Gains and losses
    • Marketing
    • Promotions
    • Supplier negotiations
    • Customer satisfaction

Vendor managers frequently have tight schedules and many times unattainable annual goals set upon them by companies. They will take care of about 50-150 vendor accounts if not more at any given moment. Their focus lies on facts and figures and the customer experience – a personal relationship with their suppliers is secondary.

Something to keep in mind: vendor management has a high fluctuation rate. Amazon follows a rotation model that allows employees to change departments on a regular basis. If you have been a vendor for some time, you will notice that your contacts change from time to time. This can make it difficult to maintain a steady relationship and provide proper support as an external company.

Goals and challenges of a Vendor Manager

In order to better understand your vendor manager, you should know what their goals are and what challenges they face. Their two main goals are:

    • Achieve sales within the category.
    • Increase profitability.

Each vendor manager works for a specific category on Amazon, for example, “lawn mowers”. If a vendor manager is responsible for a newly created category, then they must also promote that category’s growth. However, their goal is never to promote a specific brand or product.

    Prioritize tasks

Few vendor managers can cope with the high workload placed upon them. Thus, their greatest challenge lies in prioritizing their projects. Due to the increasing number of vendors, it is not possible to give the same level of attention to every manufacturer. Amazon’s internal processes rank manufacturers by relevance. Also, suppliers who do not have a decisive influence on the vendor manager’s goal achievement will increasingly no longer have a personal Amazon contact person available. In this scenario, your support will become semi or completely automated. Amazon is constantly introducing new self-services to ensure that vendors do not have to contact vendor support for every problem that arises. They want to encourage problems to be solved independently and in a more efficient manner. In the future, manufacturers will have to rely more and more on themselves and solve support tasks independently.

    Profitability

Since vendor managers work for Amazon and Amazon continuously automates processes, vendors are restricted in their authority to act. Vendor managers act on the behalf of external companies. The prices are set by the Amazon price-matching-system and the industry is not prepared to refinance the automated price matching of Amazon. Thus, in order to increase category profitability, the vendor manager is dependent on his or her suppliers. These could, for example, grant him or her better conditions or better purchase prices. The more you accommodate your vendor manager (who represents Amazon) by say offering better working conditions, the more likely you are to support your own company’s profitability. The vendor manager appreciates your proactive actions and you receive increased attention.

    Recap

Understanding your vendor manager creates the necessary basis for a promising partnership and long-term success on Amazon. Only if you approach your contact person in a solution-oriented manner will he or she appreciate you and give your brand more attention.

The decision-making powers of vendor managers are decreasing from year to year. The more established the category, the less opportunity there is for manual influence. In many cases, it is now more effective to solve emerging problems via case management and vendor support.

10 Secrets You Might Not Know About Amazon

In March 2000, the dot-com bubble that had inflated in the 90s burst. In the 27 days that elapsed from March 10 to April 6, 2000, NASDAQ stock lost $1 trillion, rendering online retailers like Pets.com and eToys.com worthless.

In 1997, the CEO of Amazon.com Inc. Jeff Bezos promised to raise the value of the company’s shares in the long term, and this promise turned out to be far from an empty phrase. Having survived on the wreckage of the technological collapse in 2000, Amazon was able to raise its market capitalization to $473 billion by August 15, 2017.

Despite a fair amount of attention to the company’s stock, there are a few little-known facts about the largest online supplier and the third largest retail store in the world.

    Robots everywhere

There are 45,000 robots in Amazon distribution centers. They are engaged in the selection, sorting and packaging of goods in warehouses, the area of which exceeds 700 sports arenas. These robots are being developed by Kiva Systems, a company that Amazon bought for $775 million in 2012.

    600 times more expensive

If an investor had invested $1,000 in Amazon in 1997, when the shares started trading on the stock exchange and cost $18, then now, in August 2017, the value of his stake would be more than $600,000. the company, to attract small investors, split its shares three times – once in 1998 and twice in 1999. If it had not done this, Amazon shares would now be worth more than $ 12,000, the WSJ notes.

    Humble Boss

Jeff Bezos’s salary in 2016 was $81,840. This is the average salary of a manager in the information technology sector. Of course, Bezos owns almost 17% of Amazon shares and his net worth reached $83 billion in August 2017. He even managed to be the richest person in the world when the company’s stock surge at the end of July ensured its assets grew to $90 billion.

    Price per minute

Nothing good can be expected when technical problems arise in a virtual retail network, especially when the company’s income depends entirely on the operation of servers and computers. So, according to experts, a 40-minute failure of the Amazon platform in 2013 cost the corporation $4.8 million — that is, one minute of downtime cost Amazon $120,000.

    This is Sparta, baby

Many companies entice their employees with additional corporate perks, such as free gym memberships or discounts on merchandise. Amazon employees don’t even have free lunches, and light bulbs have been removed from vending machines in the office to save energy. At the same time, you can get a bonus for ideas that allow the company to save money.

PowerPoint is out of favor here

MC Office skills are welcome in the company, but PowerPoint is blacklisted here. Presentations are prohibited by the company. Instead, all meetings begin with a half-hour silent reading of materials on the topic under discussion.

    Books number one

Amazon started its business in 1994 selling books online. Since then, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge. Now the company’s catalog includes more than 20 categories and 150 subcategories of various products. However, books and consumer electronics continue to rank first in terms of sales.

    No showcase required

Amazon’s mission revolves around customers who shop anywhere, anytime. Convenience is not Amazon’s only competitive advantage. Companies do not need to spend money on renting space to display their products. The cost of goods sold on the Internet in 2016 turned out to be almost 20% cheaper than their price in retail chains such as Wal-Mart.

    In someone else’s shoes

A consumer-facing organization must ensure that every employee, even Bezos himself, spends two days in two years as a customer service representative.

    Big Brother

One of Amazon’s most famous and unusual customers is the US Central Intelligence Agency. In 2014, the CIA signed an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for $600 million. The company provides cloud services to intelligence agencies.

    Paddling Pool Party

Little kids love making a splash so our next idea for a 2nd birthday party is just that. Fill several paddling pools with water, you can add different extras to each one, from balls to fish to glitter! This 2nd birthday party would take place in your backyard and printable cutouts of the sea and pool items can decorate the area, make sure to sit the adults out of the splash zone!

You could combine this idea with a themed food table from one of the previous ideas on our 2nd birthday party inspiration list.

    Mud Party!

Toddlers are always getting muddy. So give your child the greatest gift you can – allow and encourage them to get dirty! Instead of filling the inflatable pools with water, fill one with water, but another mud and another with foam!

It’s outrageous, it’s adorable, the kids will love it and it’s certainly something different and special. But do make sure that the floor is covered with plastic sheets!

    Paint Party!

Of course, most 2-year-olds like to paint! So why not embrace their creativity by throwing a painting party. Now, this is not for the faint-hearted! Just remember your aprons and old clothes!

Easels and paintbrushes are your theme here. Let the kids wear little berets and allow their creative spirits to run wild.

    Fairytale Party

Turn the whimsical to the maximum with our last idea for an awesome 2nd birthday party. Have all the fairy tale characters come together. Spread the tables with Rapunzel’s hair accessories, Cinderella’s shoes, and some pumpkins, mice can run along between elves and shoes and sparkly wands. Glitter and cutouts will turn a woodland tablescape into fairy tale land.

For activities, read some fairy tales to the children and hold up objects and see if the little ones can work out which item is from which story. And let the kids come dressed up as their favorite princess or hero for a truly wonderful 2nd birthday party.

2nd Birthday Party Ideas – Final Note

Of course, 2nd birthday parties are so much fun because now your child is old enough to participate and join in and the bash just got bigger. Children are the heart of imagination and wonder. And it’s such fun to choose from the variety of 2nd birthday party themes.

So let’s celebrate the magic of childhood with fun and fancy, with sophistication and style, and most importantly – with fun and flair.

Planning a toddler’s birthday party can be challenging. That’s because toddlers are fast-moving bundles of energy that are hard to organize! They also struggle to learn the rules for some party games — which means all of the activities must be easy-to-learn and entertaining enough to keep the attention of an energetic toddler.

To help you plan a successful toddler’s birthday party, this guide will share 25 toddler party games. These games work well with children as young as 2 years of age and will ensure your party is enjoyable for children and adults alike!

    #1 – Sing-a-long

By the time a toddler is 24 months old, they have discovered how much fun dancing, clapping, and singing along to music is. Although they can’t sing complete songs or understand all of the words to a song, they still have a great time whenever music is being played.

Plan a sing-a-along for both parents and toddlers at the party. Use songs that are simple to learn and memorable, like:

    • The Wheels On The Bus
    • The Alphabet Song
    • Polly, Put The Kettle On
    • If You’re Happy
    • Six Little Ducks
    • Baa, Baa, Black Sheep
    • Jack and Jill
    • Bingo
    • Old McDonald
    • Shoo, Fly, Don’t Bother Me

You could even throw a few songs by the Wiggles in there, like the highly addictive Hot Potato. It doesn’t have many words, which makes it ideal for toddlers to sing. If you can’t remember the words to some of these classic songs, check out this Spotify playlist. Check out these fun toddler song ideas.

    #2 – Bubble Popping

Toddlers are fascinated by the new objects they discover in the world around them. Every time they see a new animal, toy, or musical instrument, they are blown away. However, bubbles are probably the most impressive new object for a toddler to discover.

They are amazed to discover that bubbles can float through the air and be popped with their fingers. You can make the most of this fascination by buying a bubble machine for the party. Most toddlers will happily spend 10 minutes or more simply chasing and popping bubbles.

To make it even more exciting, you can turn bubble popping into a competition. Award each toddler a prize if they can burst more than 20 bubbles within a minute. Make the number simple to achieve, so they all win a prize.

In addition to using a bubble machine, you could also grab a pack of bubble wands. The children can then run around the party, leaving a trail of bubbles wherever they go.

Check out the iTeknic Bubble Machine or the Chimager Bubble Wands, which are both super affordable options for introducing toddlers to bubbles.

    #3 – Balloon Games

Toddlers love balloons as much as they love bubbles! You can take advantage of this fact by running several balloon games at the party. Some of the best balloon games include:

    Balloon volleyball

Set up a net in the middle of a room and create two teams of toddlers. Tell them they have to keep the balloon in the air and hit it over the net. If one team lets the balloon hit the ground, the other team wins a point. The first team to 10 points is the winner.

    Balloon waddle races

Have the toddlers form teams of two. Each team is given a balloon that they must share. When you say “Go” one player from each team must place the balloon between their knees, then waddle to the other side of the yard and back. If their balloon pops, they are out. They will give the balloon to their partner who must also waddle to the other side and back. The teams that come in first, second, and third receive prizes.

    Balloon and spoon race

This is a more entertaining version of the egg and spoon race, which is ideal for toddlers. Give each toddler a balloon and a large mixing spoon. Tell them they have to walk or run to the other side of the yard while balancing their balloon on the spoon. Their balloon must not hit the ground and if it does, they are out. Hold several races so everyone gets some practice and a chance to win.

    Balloon Painting

Toddlers are just discovering how much fun it is to paint, draw, and color in. Have them use their burgeoning artistic skills to draw funny faces on their balloons. This video shares some ideas for the different kinds of faces you can draw.

You can also check out these fun balloon games.

    #4 – Musical Bumps

This is a safer alternative to musical chairs, which is more suitable for toddlers. To play, you will need some music and at least 2 players. Start by having the group dance to some music that is playing. Tell them to be as creative and zany as possible in their dancing.

Tell the toddlers that they must sit down as soon as the music stops playing. Anyone who fails to sit down will be out of the game until the next round. The winner of each round receives a small candy or toy.

    #5 – Bottom Shuffle Race

It’s common for babies to learn the “bottom shuffle” before they begin to walk or crawl. They will scoot along on their bottoms, obtaining momentum from leaning forward and backward.

If your group of toddlers remembers how to do a bottom shuffle, have them race one another. All you need is a smooth surface, like tiles or a timber floor, and a finish line. Give all contestants a prize at the end.

    #6 – Scavenger Hunt

Scavenger hunts are very exciting for toddlers, as they love exploring the world and finding new things. The best part of scavenger hunt games is that they can be played indoors or outside. To play, you will need to place a collection of random objects around your home. You then give the toddlers clues to find each object in a specific order.

To make the game simpler for toddlers, you can purchase some Toddler Scavenger Hunt Cards. These cards show pictures of the objects that the toddlers need to find around your home. They can refer to the pictures as they walk around, which makes the game easier to understand.

    #7 – Animal Sounds

Two-year-olds are very skilled at mimicking the things they see and hear. This “toddler talent” makes games like Animal Sounds perfect for toddler’s parties. Start by gathering the toddlers into a group. Explain that they will need to pretend to be the animal that you name when you say “Everyone be a…”

It may help to show the group a short video of the animal in action on your phone or tablet before you shout each one out. When they are ready, shout out: “Everyone be a lion” or whatever animal you are using. Let them play as this animal for 30 seconds or so, they will have a great time!

My young nieces love being elephants. They enjoy stomping around, making roaring noises and lifting their arms like a pretend trunk. You can also use mythical creatures like fairies, unicorns, and trolls if you prefer.

Need some animal ideas? Check out this list of animals that start with the letter N. We have many more animal game ideas and activities.

    #8 – Dance Contests

A dancing contest is a brilliant toddler’s party game because young children love moving about and it will use up a lot of their abundant energy. Play a number of songs and have the kids dance about. At the end of each song, hand out awards for the most beautiful, most funky, most creative and most energetic dances. Make sure everyone gets a prize.

    #9 – The Fishing Game

This is an entertaining game that will keep toddlers busy for quite a while. To play the fishing game, you will need a dozen or more small prizes in wrapping paper with a metal washer attached to each one. You will also need a “fishing line” which is a rod with some string attached. A magnet is also secured onto the end of the string, so it can pick up the prizes by attaching to the metal washers they contain.

Arrange the prizes on a small tarpaulin or in an empty kid’s swimming pool. Each toddler then gets a turn using the fishing rod in an attempt to pull a prize from the pond. They continue playing until everyone has “caught” a prize.

An alternative to using prizes is to buy a pre-made fishing game like this product from DC-BEAUTIFUL. It consists of a small blow-up pond, 25 plastic fish, 2 fishing rods, and 2 fishing nets. It is a fun toddler party game that will keep them busy for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

    #10 – Pass The Parcel

Pass the parcel is a classic toddler party game that all children love. Prepare for this game by wrapping a prize in at least a dozen layers of newspaper or wrapping paper. Then, have the children sit in a circle and pass the gift to one another as some music is playing. Whenever you pause the music, the child holding the present gets to unwrap one layer of wrapping paper. The child who unwraps the last layer gets to keep the prize.

If the group is too young to unwrap a parcel or has members who are likely to throw a tantrum if they miss out on the prize, you could play “Pass The Balloon”. In this version of the game, children still sit in a circle as they pass a balloon around. When the music is paused, the toddler holding the balloon is allowed to go into the center of the circle and pick a prize out of a bag. Playing this version of the game makes it easy to ensure that every child gets at least one prize.

#11 – Pin The Tail On The Donkey

The easiest way to play this classic game is to buy a pre-made pin the tail on the donkey set, which contains a donkey poster, donkey tails, and blindfolds. Because it uses stickers instead of tacks, there is no risk of the toddlers injuring themselves. You just need to attach the poster to a wall, then show the toddlers how to play.

    #15 – Pirate Adventures

There are plenty of pirate-themed activities that are ideal for toddler parties. Start by dressing the toddlers up in some pirate-themed clothing, then playing:

    Walk the plank

Place a blue tarpaulin on the ground. Next, lay some bricks on the tarpaulin and place lengths of timber across them. Tell the toddlers that they must pretend they are ‘walking the plank’ and that the tarpaulin represents shark-filled water. If they manage to cross the plank without falling they win a prize. Give them plenty of chances to get across and if they are very small, hold their hands to help them.

    Pirate Duck Throw

Tell the toddlers that their next task is to take down some pirates who happen to also be ducks. Set up some of these pirate duck toys on a box or seat. The toddlers then take turns throwing water-soaked sponges or bean bags at the pirate ducks in an effort to take them down.

    Water war

If your toddler’s party is being held in Summer, why not have a water war between pirate gangs. Divide the group into two and hand out some small water pistols. You can spruce up the game by defining a base for each team and leaving some pirate ducks there. The toddlers have to brave being drenched by water pistols in an effort to retrieve the enemy’s pirate ducks.

    Run under the parachute

Despite being a very simple game, toddlers absolutely love it. Gather some adults or older kids around to lift the parachute up and down. The toddlers will need to run from one side to the other. They have to time it right or they will be squashed by the parachute! Once they run through, they will circle around the outside and line up for another turn.

    Ball toss

Have the toddlers grab one of the parachute’s handgrips and place a large bouncy ball on the middle. The toddlers will have to move their side of the parachute up and down to keep the ball from sliding off.

    Cat and mouse

This is a fun game that kids of all ages can enjoy. Have the toddlers form a circle around the parachute. You will then call out two names. The first name is the mouse, the second is the cat. The mouse will go underneath the parachute while the cat goes on top.

The other players will begin to shake the parachute. The mouse will then attempt to crawl under the parachute to the position where the cat was standing. The cat attempts to grab the mouse from the top side of the parachute. Here is a short video showing a game of cat and mouse in action.

    Parachute rides

A parachute can even be used as a mode of transport. Place the parachute on some soft grass or a smooth surface and have a couple of the toddlers sit on it. You can then take them for a quick ride.

    Parachute playhouse

Parachutes make setting up a playhouse simple. All you need to do is drape the parachute across some play equipment or boxes and you immediately have a building for the kids to play in. You can even drape it across a couple of posts to form a tunnel through which the toddlers can drive their trikes, bikes, and scooters.

    #17 – Chalk Art

This is a great activity because it is simple to set up and will keep the toddlers busy for a long time. The idea is simple — give the toddlers some pieces of chalk and let them get creative on a sidewalk or cemented area near your home. You can give the toddlers a task to perform like:

    #19 – Duck Duck Goose

Sometimes the best games to play at a toddler’s birthday party are the classics. No matter how many times a toddler has played Duck, Duck, Goose, it’s still fun for them. The rules for Duck, Duck, Goose are simple:

    1. Start the game by having the children sit in a circle
    2. Choose one child to go first, they are the “Goose”. They will walk around the circle touching the head of the other children. They will say “Duck” every time they touch someone and eventually, they say “Goose”.
    3. When the Goose says “Goose”, the toddler he touched must get up and try to catch the Goose as he runs around the circle. The Goose must reach the empty spot in the circle where the player they nominee was sitting before they are tagged.
    4. If the original Goose is caught, he will sit in the middle of the circle until another person is tagged. The child who was chosen to be the new Goose will get to walk around the circle and the game starts again

#20 – Hide and Go Seek

Hide and Go Seek is a classic party game for a reason! It never fails to excite young children, especially toddlers who are learning how to play for the first time. The rules are simple.

At the start of the round, a player is nominated as“It”. The “It” player will count backward from 30 (toddlers will need help with this). As they are counting, the other players are looking for places to hide. Once the count reaches zero, the “It” player will begin searching for the other players.

The first player they find will be “It” in the next round. The last player they find will be the winner of the round. You can make the game easier for toddlers by having the players that are found help the “It” player locate the rest of the players.

    #21 – Freeze Dance

Freeze Dance is a simple game that toddlers can’t get enough of. Participants will start dancing to some music (the crazier the dance the better). Whenever the music is paused, they must freeze in their current position. Any dancers that continue moving after the music is paused will be out. The winner is the last person on the dance floor.

    #22 – What’s The Time Mr. Wolf?

This is another traditional kid’s party game that most children will play countless times as they grow up. Teaching it to toddlers for the first time can be a little challenging, but they should pick it up after seeing other kids playing.

Start by selecting a player to be “Mr Wolf”. Mr Wolf stands at the opposite end the playing area, facing away from the other players. The players will ask Mr Wolf “What is the time Mr Wolf?”. Mr Wolf will respond in one of two ways.

The first way he can respond is by calling a clock time (like 5 O’Clock). If he does so, the other players will take that many steps forward. As they do so, they will count. So, if he said 5 O’Clock, they will yell out “1, 2, 3, 4, 5” as they take their steps.

The other way Mr Wolf can respond is by saying “Dinner Time!”. When he does so, the players must turn and run towards their starting point. Mr Wolf will chase them and attempt to tag players. If he manages to tag anyone, they will be “Mr Wolf” for the next round.

    #23 – Piñata Games

What’s a party without the Piñata game? Hitting a Piñata combines two of a toddler’s favorite activities — hitting things and eating candy! To play, all you need is a piñata that is filled with candy and toys (or healthier treats if you prefer), some string to hang the piñata, a plastic bat to hit the piñata, and a blindfold.

Blindfold one of the toddlers and spin them around a few times. Hand them the plastic bat and direct them towards the location of the piñata verbally. After they have had a few swings, give someone else a turn. Once the piñata is broken, the toddlers will rush in and grab their prize. It’s often useful to keep some prizes in a separate bowl, so you can give them to any toddlers who miss out in the rush.

    #24 – Make Like A Shark

Toddlers have a fantastic imagination that makes games like Make Like a Shark a lot of fun to play. To play this game, lay a blanket on the ground and have the toddlers walk or dance on it as the music plays.

Pause the music randomly and yell out “Shark!”. When you do so, the toddlers need to jump onto the safety of the blanket as quickly as possible. You will then run around the edge of the blanket and nibble on (tickle) any body parts that are off the blanket.

Players that are nibbled are out until the next round. You can make the game more challenging by folding the blanket in half every couple of rounds. The last toddler on the blanket becomes the next shark.

    #25 – Dress Ups

The final toddler party game on our list is dress-ups. Simply gather a big bag of old hats, scarves, sunglasses, shirts, dresses, costumes, and other items. Have the kids dress themselves in crazy combinations. They will have a lot of fun and the parents at the party will find it hilarious.

20 Fun Party Games for Toddlers

Every child wants to have fun at their birthday and toddlers are no exception.  There are in fact lots of fun and engaging games you can plan that will get their curious minds ticking and their adorable giggles erupting.  As toddlers do not always follow the rules you set or understand the concept of winning (you don’t want constant tears as little hearts break not understanding why they didn’t get a prize too) it’s a good idea to choose games and rules that keep them all having fun with little rewards for everyone.  Remember, they can be very small gifts and the kids will be excited regardless.

If you are looking to save money, you might be interested in one of our most popular party posts about how to host an inexpensive kids birthday party with heaps of ideas on keeping costs down.

Here is a list of some great games that will be perfect for your little toddler to play:

    Toddler Party Games Ideas

    1.  Pass the Ball – A toddler-friendly version of pass the parcel.  Littler kids are notorious for either holding on to or ripping open any parcel that is placed in front of them.  An alternative for the younger kids is to pass a plastic ball around.  Whoever has the ball when the music stops gets to leave the circle and pick a prize out of a bag.  As the circle gets smaller the game gets faster and by the end everyone has a prize!

    2.  Musical Statues – Play some music and get the kids to dance around.  When the music stops they need to freeze.  The ones who stop the quickest get a prize and then sits down as the game then continues.

    3.  Follow the Leader – All kids love to follow the leader.  Get the kids to line up behind an adult and with music playing go on a little snake trail of the yard.  It’s more fun if there are some obstacles to go over, under or around and also if you get them to follow funny actions (arm waving, leg kicking) that you do.   Kids can take turns being the leader too.

    4.  Duck Duck Goose – An old favourite.  Kids sit in a circle and one walks around the outside tapping the others on the head one at a time and announcing “duck, duck, duck” as they do so.  Then, randomly, they say “goose” as they tap a child’s head and when they do that kid must stand up and try to chase them around the circle.  If the original tapper gets back to their spot without being caught then the person that chased them becomes the new goose.  If they do get caught then they have another go going around.

    5.  Whats the Time Mr Wolf – One player is chosen to be Mr Wolf.  Mr Wolf stands at the opposite end of the playing field from the other players, facing away from them.  A call-and-response then takes place: all players except for Mr Wolf chant in unison “What’s the time, Mr Wolf?”, and Mr Wolf will answer in one of the two ways.  Mr Wolf may call a clock time (e.g., “3 o’clock”). The other players will then take that many steps out loud as they go (“One, two, three”). Then they ask the question again.  Mr Wolf may call “Dinner Time!” Then Mr Wolf will turn and chase the other players back to their starting point.  If Mr Wolf successfully tags a player, that player becomes the new Mr Wolf for the next round.

    6.  Bottom Shuffle Race – All kids hop onto their bottoms and shuffle their way to the finish line.

    7.  Dance and Sing – For the really young you really can’t go past sitting them in a circle, pop on a nursery rhyme CD and get them to do the motions with you.

    8.  Pass the Balloon – Exactly as it sounds except when music stops that child had to find a parcel hidden in the garden with a specific number on it.

    9.  Bubbles – You cannot go past a bubble machine at a toddler party.  Kids can take turns trying to catch as many as they can or just let them run around near a bubble machine.  You may not even need another item of entertainment!

    10. ‘Fishing’ for Loot Bags – Wrap small presents (multicoloured pencils, mini cars etc) and sticky tape a metal washer to each one.  Make a ‘fishing line’ with a rod and a short piece of string and attach a small magnet to the end of it. The children stand on a small stool/chair and fish to catch a present.

    11. Walk the Plank – Create a pirate ship plank by laying a plank of wood on top of some bricks.  Get the kids to line up and take turns trying to get from one end to the other without falling off.  As they make it they get a prize with each child having as many goes as needed to make it.  With very young ones you can always hold their hands.

    12. Treasure Hunt – Plant fun little objects, treats or toys around the yard and get the kids to go out and find them.  Whatever they find they can keep!  Alternatively, give them a colour each to look for and get toys in each colour that they then need to find (this idea helps stop one clever or older child getting it all).

    13. Decorate a Hat Table – Make or buy plain party hats and set up a little craft table complete with stickers, pens and other crafty items.   Little hands can get busy decorating their own party hat to wear proudly.

    14. Ball Pit – Blow up a small pool and fill with coloured balls.  For really young guests this could just be a fun play area for them to enjoy – otherwise you can make a game where they have to get all of a certain colour out.  Once they get them all they get a treat.

    15. Parachute – This is a simple, cheap and fun activity that little kids love.  A circular cut of nylon works best but you can also use a bed sheet or make one with some cheap fabric if preferred.  The idea is that the adults hold on to the material edges and float it up and down while the kids either sit underneath or take turns trying to run underneath it when it floats up and get to the other side before it comes down on them.  Several children can sit in the center and the adults can take the little ones for a ride by walking in a circle.  Put some balls or stuffed animals in the center, raise the chute up and “shake” until all of the toys pop out or put them on the ground in the centre and kids need to dart in and grab one without getting trapped as it comes back down.   There are so many options.

    16. Rubber Ducky Bath – All kids love a rubber ducky and even more they love playing with water.  Buy a few rubber ducks and before the party get them “dirty” using things like flour, syrup or any other edible item (in case it goes in their mouth first!).  The idea is the kids then gather around some buckets or tub outside with soapy water and cloths to wash the ducks.  Sounds simple but they will love splashing about and once clean they can keep their duck to take home.

    17. Make like a shark – Lay a blanket on the ground and get the kids to walk or dance around it while music plays.  As soon as the music stops yell out “Shark!” and all the kids need to jump onto the blanket as quickly as possible.  You can run around the edges as the shark and nibble at (gentle tickle) any little toes or body parts that are off the blanket.  Lots of fun – just be ready for heaps of squealing!  If you like, the last kid on the blanket can become the next shark.

    18. Dress ups – A pile of dress up costumes or clothes can make for endless fun for toddlers.  Things like shoes, hats, tutus, scarves – just about anything they can dress up in – all make for lots of fun and imaginary play.

    19. Egg and spoon race – Boil some eggs and get the kids to try to balance them on a spoon and see who can get to the finish line the fastest without dropping their egg!

    20. Snake race (lolly snake on nose) – Same theory as the egg and spoon except with a lolly snake draped over their noses.  The tough one here will be making sure they don’t eat their prop before starting the race!

Remember, it’s always good to have more game ideas ready for the party day than you think you will need.  Usually two or three is enough and sometimes you won’t even get to them all – especially with unpredictable toddlers.  Still, if things are moving slowly or the kids are getting distracted then it can be a lifesaver to start up another game and watch their little faces beam with excitement.

How to celebrate the birthday of a child 3 years old ❤️ Blog Sharlot.ru

Where to celebrate the birthday of a child 3 years old?

First, you need to decide on the venue of the celebration. When choosing a location, it is necessary to build on the number and age of the birthday guests and your personal preferences and interests of the baby.

There are many options, we will look at the most common, consider the pros and cons of each.

    Birthday at home.

The most common way to celebrate a child’s birthday in 3 years. This option will be as comfortable as possible for the hero of the occasion.

First of all, at home, in a familiar environment, the baby feels as comfortable as possible. He gladly receives guests, shows his toys and realizes the essence of the event, all attention is directed to him on this day.

Secondly, many three-year-olds have daytime sleep during the day. If the child gets tired, it will be possible to calmly retire and let the baby rest.

And thirdly, you will be able to independently think over the menu of the table for the birthday boy and his guests, observing the diet and nutritional habits of children of this age, and not worry about what products this or that dish is prepared from.

One of the disadvantages of celebrating at home is the limited area. Not everyone can afford to invite the desired number of guests to the apartment.

    Birthday in a children’s cafe.

Usually these establishments are equipped with special playgrounds or playrooms where children can have fun and parents will not worry about their safety.

Definitely an advantage of celebrating a celebration in a cafe will be a pre-thought-out menu individually for each guest. Study the menu, coordinate the order in advance, choose dishes according to the preferences of the children and specify the possibility to bring your own cake.

The downside in this situation is the fact that a child in a new environment on a surge of emotions can get tired faster and start acting up.

Birthday in a specialized quest with a show program.

These events are organized by a team of professionals, taking into account the age of the birthday person and his preferences. A great celebration option, more suitable for older children. It is difficult for a three-year-old to be in a state of prolonged attention, so he will not be able to fully become a participant in experiments or, for example, in a theatrical action. It is better to make this event a small part of the overall program. A definite plus will be vivid and enchanting memories, of the minuses: prolonged concentration, which is very difficult for children of three years of age.

    Picnic.

It will be an excellent option for celebrating the birthday of a three-year-old birthday. Bright balloons, warm blankets, baskets and sweets – voila, the holiday is ready! Pluses include simplicity, convenience and a great atmosphere. Minus: change of weather can ruin the celebration. Sudden rain or wind will not make it possible to continue the holiday. Also lack of sanitation.

    What time is the holiday?

Starting from the regimen of a three-year-old child, it is better to organize celebrations at 4-5 pm. After a daytime sleep, the baby will be cheerful and will be able to have fun and provocatively spend his birthday.

    Guests at the party.

Of course, by this age the baby has made friends in the kindergarten or on the playground. Without their presence, the holiday will not be so fun. Be sure to invite the kids with their parents, because. supervision is required for each child, and the mood of young guests during the holiday can change dramatically.

The presence of relatives of the little birthday boy is obligatory.

If it is not possible to organize the presence of both of them, it is better to invite your loved ones on the birthday itself, and spend the holiday with friends on the weekend.

    Holiday at home.

Fun, playful, memorable children’s birthday party can be held at home. Of course, it is necessary to think over the plan of the event and its theme. Prepare accessories and a photo zone in advance. Approve the menu and think over the games in advance.

Electronic invitations. Take a picture of the birthday boy, decorate his photo in the editor, decorating with confetti, sparkles and fireworks. Attach creative text. Record a video that the baby is waiting for guests.

    Entertainment

“Simple but well organized” is the formula to follow to give your child the holiday they want. Do not judge from the height of your age, try to look at things through the eyes of kids! Prefer quality over quantity and don’t try to get too many friends.

Standard rule: the number of guests equals the child’s age +1. Limit the holiday time to 2-3 hours. Take care of treats in advance, a birthday cake and sweets, water and fruit juices. Children do not need too much glitter and tricks for the holiday. A few simple ideas and a variety of games are enough.

    Costume ball

As you know, children love to dress up. To be convinced of this, it is enough to find the baby in the living room in mom’s shoes or dad’s shoes, with mom’s bag on his shoulder and glasses put on his nose. And if these clown numbers can make us adults laugh, why not try to organize a costume ball? A few days before the party, rummage through your closets and pull out fabrics, out-of-fashion dresses, hats, accessories that could help guests turn into a pirate, a cook, or even a dad or mom – why not?

Don’t spend a few hours buying expensive new suits. Children will have just as much fun if they tie a bright scarf around their heads or wear a big white shirt instead of a dress. If necessary, buy a few inexpensive accessories. But makeup, on the contrary, should be of high quality. A drop of imagination – and it’s in the bag! You can easily line your eyes, draw a shaggy beard or vampire teeth – whatever you are asked. In this case, it is better to prepare children for the holiday together: one dresses, the other paints. Then we start the game and offer the children situations in which they can play the roles of their favorite characters.

    Treasure hunt…

Which of us didn’t go treasure hunting at least once in our childhood? Be sure, and your children will be delighted with such a game. But keep in mind, treasure hunting requires space, otherwise everyone will have to stagnate in one place. If there is a garden or park near your house, and if there is enough time and the weather allows, you can go there.

The game starts with a card or an anonymous message that you give to the child. This is the starting point, from which the children move on to the next one, where they will find another clue, and so on until they find the treasure box. In an old tin or wooden box, you can put “jewels” – gifts wrapped in bright paper for each child and sweets. Riddles, puzzles, charades, puzzles… you will need to prepare all the steps, remembering that they must be adapted to the age of the children. To make the game even more interesting, you can invite little explorers to take the names of famous treasure hunters or detectives and give them items that will help them in their search: a magnifying glass, small plastic tweezers, a spatula, a flashlight. They will be proud that everyone is responsible for something specific. And you are required to come up with a story and riddles that children will need to solve in order to reach the goal …

    Surprise!

At children’s birthday parties, as a rule, raffles of small gifts for guests are also a great success. The well-known classic version of the prize draw: prizes wrapped in beautiful paper are hung on strings, and blindfolded children take turns cutting them off. Whoever cut the bundle, he got such a prize. The number of prizes must be greater than the participants in the draw, so that the last one also has plenty to choose from.

    Cooking Studio

Tastes awaken from a very young age: why not use your birthday to play and cook together? When guests arrive, put an apron (or large napkin) on each child and distribute plastic cutlery. Cooking games are plentiful: for example, you can blindfold children in turn and let them smell different foods – fruits, chocolate, or even spices – vanilla or herbs.

The game is based on the same principle when we offer kids to guess the product according to taste. Try to choose foods that are known to children and those that they love, for example, Nutella, jam, ice cream, banana, orange, apple, etc. Then you can invite them to make their own fruit skewers (each strings those fruits on a skewer favorites: apples, grapes, pineapple…). It is good to add candied fruits or dried fruits to them. The holiday is a great occasion to give children a taste of exotic fruits that may not be familiar to them, such as mangoes.

You can try to make a salty version of these kebabs – from cubes of cheese, vegetables, mini sausages, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls … Another great idea is dragee beads! Oh, and don’t forget to prepare a small cardboard box ahead of time for each child so they can take home some of what they have prepared. After all, he will be very happy and proud to share this with his family.

“I want to bake a cake in the form of a castle with a tower”

“We live in an ordinary apartment, and my son’s birthday is in winter. It is not easy to be indoors when the number of invited children is 8-10 and most of them are boys. Two weeks before the holiday, we make invitations together and distribute them in kindergarten to those who want to come. On a birthday, we hang balloons and homemade decorations in the apartment. Be sure to bake a cake (this year I will bake a cake in the shape of a castle with a tower!). I also plan a few games in advance to reassure the guys a little: the Internet is full of interesting ideas.

    And there will be dancing!

A simple solution for the little ones is to organize at short intervals what everyone really likes – dancing: jumping, clapping, spinning, sitting down, swaying . .. Then we sit on the carpet or pillows to relax and catch our breath. At this time, you can invite children to listen to the sounds of nature: rain, birdsong, the sound of the sea, asking them what they hear. Then we move on to active exercises: we jump, somersault on the carpet, walk along the bench, maintaining balance, climb through the tunnel … And so that everyone calms down a little at the end, you can invite the children to dance and sing a song together.

    Musical accompaniment

In order for children to have fun and be interesting, and the atmosphere at the celebration to be solemn, it is necessary to take care of the musical arrangement of the holiday. For this, funny children’s songs or melodies from cartoons are best suited. Music will add solemnity and create the right atmosphere.

    The cat congratulated the boy,

She left the coloring as a gift.

    Suddenly, from a distant bush

    A fox appeared.

    A fox comes out.

    Fox:

    Hello, hello.

    Adults and children.

    Who’s birthday today?

    Answer me now.

    Host:

Here he is, the most important boy,

He was born on this day.

    Everyone only congratulates him,

This is how the day started.

    Fox:

    Congratulations on the holiday,

I wish you to be brave and dexterous.

    And to our birthday boy

I give a new thing as a gift.

Gives clothes. The kid can immediately try on a new thing. Then the fox leaves.

    Presenter:

As soon as there was no trace left of the fox,

The hare came running after dinner.

    Bunny:

Hello – hello, I heard about name days,

I came to congratulate and give my gift,

So as not to get sick, but always be healthy

    Crunch carrots, my dear friend.

Hands a carrot and runs away.

    Master:

    To congratulate the baby,

    Foreigners are walking slowly.

    A rhinoceros appears.

    Rhinoceros:

So, do you have a name day here?

    I will, therefore, congratulate you.

    I’ll give you a picture,

    You need to paint it!

Rhino gives coloring book and felt-tip pens. Congratulations again and run away.

    An elephant appears.

    Elephant:

I rushed to you with all my might,

    I trampled hundreds of boots,

    I ran in heavy rain,

    And I give a banana – not a melon.

    I’m hungry like a wolf,

Well, let’s go to the table now?

An elephant gives a banana, then everyone goes to the festive table.

How to decorate a table for a child’s birthday – 13 original ideas

    Creative activities

After the festive feast, you can do creative work with your child: color the resulting coloring or create some craft.

    “Sun”

To create the sun you will need:

    • finger paints;
    • drawing paper;
    • basin of water;
    • towel.

Before creating the craft, you need to talk a little about the meaning of the sun for a person, about how beautiful it will look over the bed.

    Then start painting:

    1. Dip the tip of your index finger into the paint.
    2. Finish the middle of the sun, leaving dots first along the outline and then along the inside of the circle.
    3. Rinse in a bowl of water.
    4. Gently smear any bright paint over the entire palm.
    5. Make handprints from the center in a circle – get the sun’s rays.
    6. Rays can be made multicolored.
    7. Wash your hands.
    8. It remains to glue the loop on the reverse side and hang the resulting picture along with the baby on the wall.

After creative activities or reading, you can go outside and take a walk until lunch. After dinner – sleep, as expected, so as not to disturb the daily routine.

    Event with guests

In the afternoon, you can organize an event for the baby and invited guests – several adults with children of the same age.

    Attributes:

    • bunny toy;
    • soap bubbles;
    • fox tail;
    • paints, white leaves, paper barrel;
    • cubes;
    • gifts for winners of competitions.

    Role:

    • Jolly Clown

    Event progress

    Clown:

Hi guys! How are your business? Ready to play and have fun? But before we start playing, let’s have a little laugh. Can you laugh? Show.

Since two-year-olds like to repeat interesting sounds, they will be interested in this activity. The clown can laugh in different ways, and the kids will repeat after him.

    Clown:

Goodies! You have a good laugh. Do you know how to run? Let’s run a little.

They run in circles to the music. First one way, then the other.

    Clown:

We laughed and ran. Now let’s play hide and seek. Hide, and I will look for you.

The children are hiding and the clown is looking for them. At the same time, it must be taken into account that the kids still cannot hide very well, so they need to be stimulated to play, pretending that they cannot find it. Loudly ask: “Is there anyone behind the closet?”, Look: “No, no one. Or maybe they are hiding behind the door, ”etc.

    Clown:

How smart you are, you hide well. And now you will search. Look how fast the bunny is (pulls out and shows a toy). Here he is now, but now he is gone (hiding under a chair). Where is the bunny? (children answer) Right. Now close your eyes so that the bunny can hide. Count to three: one, two, three. Now we will search.

While the children are counting, the clown hides the hare in a conspicuous place first. The kids find it. The game is then repeated a few more times.

    Clown:

Well done, we found our fidget. (turns to the bunny) And you, bunny, don’t hide anymore, otherwise you won’t get lost for long (sits the hare on a chair). Now let’s blow bubbles. Do you know how?

Children are given soap bubbles. The clown can blow big bubbles, and the kids can catch and pop them. After the fun, you need to wipe the floor and wash the hands of the children.

    Clown:

Well done, all the bubbles burst! Do you know what a fox is? What fluffy tail does she have? Now I will be a fox, and you will try to take away my beautiful tail from me.

Attaches tail to belt. Children try to grab onto it while the music is playing.

    Clown:

Tired? Let’s take a break then and start painting. Let’s make a colored tree.

On a table prepared in advance, the kids paint the leaves with multi-colored paints, and after drying they stick them on a paper trunk.

    Clown:

Have a little rest, now you can start building. Who is our best builder?

High towers are built from cubes.

    Clown:

It’s time for you to eat, and for me to go to the circus. Goodbye, kids.

Children go to the table. The clown leaves. After eating, children go for a walk or to the cinema together with adults.

    Walking games

    Ball games

    • pass the ball around with hands or feet;
    • ball relay;

    Catchers

Babies love not to be chased, so it’s worth pretending that the child is faster.

    Educational games

    • count flowers, cars and any other items;
    • what colors are on the street;
    • how many steps to some object (and count, and then compare the number of adults and children).

In general, fill the walk with useful developmental tasks as usual.

    Before going to bed

After a walk, go home, wash, have dinner. Then go to the room and, seeing a message from a fairy or any other fairy-tale character on the bed, be surprised and read it.

The message may contain the following:

“Hello… Today is your second birthday.
