Washington, Feb. 11, AZERTAC

Public high schools in the city of Washington, DC, faced a new wave of bomb threats on Thursday, despite the arrest of a teenager accused of some of the previous threats. So far, no hazardous materials have been found.

As a result of threats, five secondary schools were evacuated and ransacked on Thursday after phone calls were made that a bomb had been planted, AZERTAC reported.

Washington DC police announced on Twitter Thursday that a 16-year-old boy had been arrested and “charged with multiple terrorist threats.”

Dunbar High School was evacuated Tuesday after a bomb threat was reported when Doug Emhoff, husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, attended an event at the school. District of Columbia Board of Schools spokesman Enrique Gutierrez said the school system is “taking these threats very seriously” and is working with authorities to fully investigate the threats.

The problem of shortage of school teachers is aggravating in the USA

A

Washington, Aug. 9, AZERTAC

The shortage of schoolteachers is growing in the US.

According to AZERTAC, in 2019, the Economic Policy Institute think-tank published a report noting that by 2024, the US school system will need more than 300,000 teachers to meet the demand for teachers across the country.

Several factors have exacerbated the problem over the past two years: teachers have retired or left the profession citing the coronavirus pandemic, among other things, have left their jobs due to growing disrespect from students and parents, and safety concerns in schools.

Some teachers stated that the low salary was just one of the factors that motivated them to leave the teaching profession. Many school districts across the country say they are struggling to fill dozens to hundreds of open positions. The American Federation of Teachers, an alliance that represents about 1.7 million educators, presented in a July report several options to address teacher and staff shortages, including higher salaries and benefits, improved relations between teachers and administrators, smaller class sizes, reduced volumes of standardized tests and paperwork, as well as the diversification of teaching staff.

Some school districts provide bonuses and stipends to retain and attract new teachers in addition to base salary increases. Others use alternatives. For example, the Okeechobee County School District in central Florida has hired teachers from overseas, including India, the Philippines, Mexico, Jamaica, and Peru, in part to alleviate a shortage of local teachers.

Bathroom Cleaning Tips & Tricks

The bathroom is one of the most-used rooms in the house. Because of this, it’s also one of the hardest to keep clean. In addition to frequent use taking a toll, steam from the shower and sink create the perfect atmosphere for dust, soap scum and spotty mirrors. Molly Maid is here to help you keep your bathroom clean and reduce germs.

About Our Bathroom Cleaning Services

As part of our house cleaning services, Molly Maid thoroughly cleans all surfaces throughout the bathroom. This includes wiping down windowsills, baseboards, blinds and more. Our experts scrub and remove soap scum from your shower, tub, tile and grout. Next, we focus on the sink by wiping down the vanity, mirror and countertops to remove all water spots, toothpaste and buildup.

Perhaps most importantly, we clean the entire toilet inside and out – you’re welcome! We finish by vacuuming bathmats and mopping the bathroom floor to remove hair and debris. We even go the extra mile by polishing faucets, drains caps and towel holders.

Bathroom Cleaning Schedule

  • Daily: After each shower, use a small squeegee to help prevent water marks on the walls. Also keep a small handheld vaccum to use on the floors each day.
  • Weekly: Once per week, combine the above duties with a thorough cleaning of the shower, tub, toilet, and surfaces. Mop the floor weekly as well.
  • Monthly: Once per month, be sure to organize all your cabinets and closets within your bathroom spaces. This helps maintain an easy order within these storage spaces.
  • Yearly: With regular maintenance, a bathroom should not require a deep, yearly clean. Tasks to do occasionally include taking down blinds and giving them a soak in all-purpose cleaner, and washing your plastic shower curtain in cold water. You should also clean the vents or grilles on the exhaust fan within your vacuum upholstery brush.

Professional House Cleaning You Can Trust

These are just some of the tips we have for keeping a bathroom clean. With more than 30 years of professional cleaning experience, we know the most effective way to keep a bathroom clean is to clean it on a weekly basis.

What should be the cleaning company?

Choosing a cleaning company is not an easy task. Each private, corporate customer is guided by its own criteria. Practice shows that it is most rational to take into account the tasks set when choosing a company. This is the so-called defining criterion.

That is, one-time apartment cleaning, for example, can be ordered by a small profile company. And if long-term cooperation is planned, subscription cleaning services are required, it is worth considering the offers of large cleaning market operators.

Cleaning of premises and apartments: who to trust?

Modern cleaning companies offer cleaning of premises and apartments on different terms. Someone introduces promotional offers, lowers prices. Someone relies on the quality of cleaning, service, guarantees. The buyer is on each item. Save or not, you decide.

Today cleaning of premises in Moscow may have different prices. Cleaning services are offered to clients with both modest and unlimited budgets. But choosing a company solely on the basis of the price principle is irrational.

So you’ve decided to entrust cleaning to professionals. What to look for when choosing an artist? First of all, it should be the reputation of the company. And it consists of the effectiveness of the work, the experience and profile training of employees, the effective solution of cleaning tasks of any complexity, the technical capabilities of the contractor.

The best cleaning company

There are a lot of cleaning companies in Moscow. Which cleaning company can be considered the best? The answer to this question is obvious. The best cleaning company has everything you need to solve the tasks set by the customer. In fact, its success is determined by:

  • Focused on innovation. The market for modern building materials and finishing materials is rapidly developing. Each of the coatings requires special care. For this, new effective means are being created. Accordingly, the cleaning company should be aware of new products.
  • Powerful material and technical base. Without special equipment, equipment, inventory, advanced consumables, it is impossible to perform high-quality cleaning. The effectiveness of cleaning schemes largely depends on their technical support.
  • Availability of trained personnel. Technology and chemistry are nothing without those who know how to use it all. Profile specialists are the face of a cleaning company.

Cleaning of premises in Moscow: prices

What else should a cleaning company be like? Of course, customer-oriented. The range of clients for a major market operator is the widest. Thus, the cost of cleaning 1 sq. m of premises in a cleaning company may vary depending on the category of services:

  • express;
  • standard;
  • VIP.

This approach makes the cleaning company universal. Each client chooses a priority category of services, a required package or individual options. A rational calculation of the cost of a cleaning project is the best offer for a potential customer.

Top class cleaning of premises and apartments

If you need high-quality cleaning of premises, the price per square meter must be affordable, the result must be guaranteed, you should contact a large company with an impeccable reputation. LLC Pervaya Cleaning Service offers its services in the market sector. We carry out private and corporate orders.

The cleaning service has a staff of specialized specialists, a technical park, administrative resources for the implementation of projects of any complexity. We guarantee safety, quality, affordable cleaning.

  • What is the difference between a cleaning service employee and a cleaner?

Having tried once to order cleaning services, many organizations, companies, individuals are among the regular customers of cleaning companies. Indeed, according to results of cleanings, cleaning and cleaning in the usual sense (by cleaners) are significantly different!

Let’s talk in the article about people whose job is to clean office and residential premises. Let’s compare a number of parameters cleaning worker and cleaner .

Inventory

The cleaner’s inventory is bucket , mop and rags (in limited quantities, as a rule). A company providing cleaning services to customers provides employees modern equipment and inventory. Powerful high-performance technology allows you to achieve impressive cleaning results.

Cleaners, detergents

The cleaning lady has limited set of detergents at her disposal. Routine cleaning involves washing all surfaces with one or two universal products . The effectiveness of such cleaning is highly questionable . Cleaning company employees use a whole arsenal of cleaning products; for each type of soiling and type of surface – separate agents .

Professional cleaning provides impeccable surface cleanliness and competent care for them.

Knowledge

Cleaner does not have special knowledge about the features of cleaning different types of surfaces and coatings.

The cleaning lady is an unskilled worker who by his wrong actions may damage the surface to be cleaned or reduce the service life of the coating!!!

Employees of cleaning companies are allowed to work only after passing training (theoretical and practical), during which they gain experience in working with all types of dirt and all types of surfaces!

Cleaning time

Normal (in the usual sense) cleaning is possible only at predetermined working hours. This is not always convenient for the employer. Professional cleaning services are provided to customers at any time convenient for them , including weekends and holidays, early and later than time of day.

Ability to perform complex cleaning tasks.

These include: stain removal from furniture and carpets, dry cleaning of upholstered furniture, washing facades and other types of work. A cleaning lady or cleaning service cannot handle complex types of cleaning due to the lack of special equipment and inventory , cleaning products and experience .

Customers who choose cleaning instead of cleaning will not have to put up with the fact that a number of works on objects remain unfulfilled , and order them separately ! A distinctive feature of any cleaning company is providing customers with a full range of cleaning services , including labor-intensive and complex types of work.

Labor productivity

Due to the lack of modern equipment and inventory, the cleaning speed of the cleaner is low . Employees of cleaning services, who have at their disposal professional cleaning equipment and inventory , can cope with significant amounts of work in a short time .

Botkinskaya hospital – the official website of the GBUZ GKB im. S.P. Botkina DZM

Sazonova Natalya Petrovna

I want to express my gratitude to the surgeons of the 51st department of orthopedics of the Botkin hospital: Murylev Valery Yuryevich, Kukovenko Grigory Andreevich, Elizarov Pavel Mikhailovich, anesthesiologist Yudin Alexander Mikhailovich, as well as Rudnev Alexander Mikhailovich and a young specialist . After severe pain in the area of TB joints, which did not go away even at rest (including at night), and which did not stop large doses of NSAIDs, she decided to have an operation. After hesitation and struggle with my fears, I went to the clinic, received a referral to the Botkin hospital.
Grigory Andreevich Kukovenko, as well as his assistant Rudnev Alexander Igorevich, Elizarov Pavel Mikhailovich from the first minute of my admission to the department until the moment of discharge, surrounded me with attention and professional medical support. Explained everything about my operation. They warned that after the operation, one leg would be shorter than the other, until the moment when the second one was not operated on. Anesthesiologist Alexandra Mikhailovich Yudin carefully studied the entire medical history, as well as age and weight, when determining the type of anesthesia from which I got out easily and painlessly.
During my stay in the hospital, after the operation, each of the doctors came to my room. Every day I was dressed, which was always attended by P.M. Elizarov.
There are many patients in the department. But despite the many patients, doctors find time and words of support for everyone that I have experienced. Thank you for getting rid of the pain that tormented and endured! Happy New Year!

Sazonova Natalya Petrovna

Moskalenko Evgeny Ivanovich

I would like to thank all the employees of the 72nd oncosurgical department of the City Clinical Hospital (Head Viktor Yakomaskin) for their noble work. He was in the department from December 12 to December 21, 2022 due to the removal of the 3rd lobe of the right lung. Surgeon Bako Roman Olegovich operated and observed me. It is impossible not to note the professionalism, responsiveness and kindness of the doctors and all the medical staff, who did everything to ensure that their patient recovered after the operation quickly and with a positive result. Early Childhood | Polk County Public Schools

Early Childhood Learning Programs

Polk County Public Schools’ early childhood learning programs are designed to support all families as they take their critical first steps in planning their child’s education. PCPS offers multiple options tailored to your child’s needs.

Benefits

A fundamental principle of early childhood development and education is to provide all children with a safe, nurturing, engaging, enjoyable, and secure learning environment to help them gain the awareness, skills, and confidence necessary to succeed in their present environment and to deal with later responsibilities in school and life.

Each child is treated as an individual in an inclusive community that values, respects, and responds to diversity. The varied experiences provided by the Head Start, Title One, and VPK programs support the entire continuum of children’s growth and development including physical, social, emotional and cognitive.

What to Expect

Our early learning classrooms have low student-to-teacher ratios and are staffed by highly qualified instructors with appropriate degrees and state DOE/DCF certifications. We offer programs such as Head Start, Title One, VPK, and ESE classrooms to ensure we meet the needs of every child.

Instructors will direct activities and provide consistent daily routines that will offer children opportunities for exploration and learning. Our instructors use research-based techniques to support students’ socialization and language growth. We promote good health and safety habits with consistent supervision and maintain high program standards.

Toddler’s Creed

If I want it, it’s mine.

If I give it to you and change my mind later, it’s mine.

If I take it away from you, it’s mine.

If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine.

If it’s mine, it will never belong to anybody else, no matter what.

If we are building something together, all the pieces are mine.

If it looks just like mine, it’s mine.

A Child Lives What He Learns

If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.

If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.

If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.

If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.

If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.

If a child lives with praise, he learns appreciation.

If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.

If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.

If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.

Mary Had A Little Cold

Mary had a little cold, but wouldn’t stay at home..

and every where that Mary went

The cold was sure to roam.

It wondered into Molly’s eyes and filled them full of tears

It jumped from there to Bobby’s nose and then to Jimmy’s ears.

It painted Annie’s throat bright red and swelled poor Little Johnny’s head

Dora had a fever and a cough put Jack to bed

The moral of this little take, is very quickly said

Mary could have saved l lot of pain

with just one day in bed!

As I Grow

Please understand I am growing up and changing very fast.

It must be difficult to keep pace with me, but please try.

Please reward me for telling the truth.

Then I am not frightened into lying.

Please tell me when you make mistakes and what you learned from them.

Then I can accept that I am okay, even when I blunder.

Please pay attention to me and spend time with me.

Then I can believe that I am important and worthwhile.

Please help me explore my unique interests, talents and potential.

In order for me to be happy, I need to be me.

Please do the things you want me to do.

Then I have a good, positive model.

Please tell me by your words and actions that you love me.

Then I will feel loveable and will be able to love myself and others.

beautiful poems about children, short poems.

..

Poems about children are often asked to be taught by children themselves in kindergarten and school. Yes, and adults love to re-read touching works about the tricks and growing up of kids. How often do we look for poems to wish our son or daughter a happy birthday, or just want to remember our childhood. After all, perhaps at no other time are we so defenseless, open and close to God. This tender period is lovingly described by artists, writers and poets around the world. Pravmir has collected for you a selection of the best poems about children. Works of classics and beginning poets. We hope that our selection will take you to the magical world of childhood, full of adventure and discovery. Short poems about children are easy to learn by heart, and the most beautiful poems remain in our memory for a long time. It is usually easy for a child to learn exactly the poem that he liked. Growing up is so short:

And now we have an adult! Let beautiful poetry adorn the memories of how the baby discovered for himself the wonderful world given by God, in which there is so much unknown and beautiful.

Agniya Barto

I’m lying, I’m sick

I’m lying, I’m sick,
I pity myself.
I sigh on my back,
I lie down on my side again…
My friends don’t come to me
To visit the poor fellow.

I’m lying down, sick,
I feel sorry for myself.
Where are my comrades?
How do you spend your summer?
Fights are being fought without me
Somewhere in football…

I’m lying down, sick,
I feel sorry for myself.
I’m waiting until the end
The doors will open
And six boys will burst in,
Five at least.

But there is silence in the apartment…
I rub my eyes half asleep,
Suddenly I see (there they are!)
— Five girls enter.

Five girls sat in a row
By my bed.
— Well, that’s enough! — they say.
– I got sick, and that’s enough.

Do you know the songs or not?
You will be the leader!
– I nod at them in response:
– Well, let’s sing, perhaps.

Tanya (thin voice,
Tail on the back of the head)
Speaks:
— And this is juice for you in a bottle.

Miracles! I’m waiting for the boys,
And the girls came.
I’m not on good terms with them,
I fought once.
I’m lying, sick,
I feel sorry for myself,
How I’ll sing with the girls,
I’m having fun right away.

Childhood

The hotter the day, the sweeter it is in the forest
Breathe the dry resinous aroma,
And I had fun in the morning
Wander around these sunny chambers!

Shine everywhere, bright light everywhere,
Sand like silk…
I cling to the gnarled pine tree
And I feel: I am only ten years old,
And the trunk is a giant, heavy, majestic.

The bark is rough, wrinkled, red,
But so warm, so warmed up by the sun!
And it seems that it is not pine that smells,
But the heat and dryness of sunlight.

Mikhail Lermontov

We languish in memories of the dreams of youth,
With secret joy and secret shudder,
Beautiful child, I look at you …
Oh, if only you knew how much I love you!
How dear to me are your young smiles,
And quick eyes, and golden curls,
And a ringing voice!—Isn’t it true, they say,
You look like her?—Alas! the years are flying;
Her suffering changed before the time,
But true dreams preserved that image
In my chest; that gaze full of fire,
Always with me. And you, do you love me?
Are you bored with uninvited caresses?

***

The birth of a sweet child
My belated verse greets.
May blessing be with him
All the angels of heaven and earth!
May he be worthy of his father,
Like his mother, beautiful and loved;
May his spirit be calm
And in truth he is firm, like God’s cherub.
Let him not know before the deadline
Neither the pangs of love, nor the glory of greedy thoughts;
Let him look without reproach
To false brilliance and false noise of the world;
Let him not look for reasons
For someone else’s passions and joys,
And he will come out of secular mire
White in soul and unharmed in heart!

Marina Tsvetaeva

There are quiet children. To doze off on a shoulder
At tender mum it is sweet to them and in the afternoon.
Their weak hands do not rush to the candle –
They do not play with fire.

There are children – like sparks: a flame is akin to them.
In vain they are taught: “After all, it burns, don’t touch it!”
They are capricious (because they are sparks!)
And boldly grab the fire.

There are strange children: they have impudence and fear.
Slowly cross yourself in autumn,
They approach, do not dare, turn pale in tears
And weeping, they flee from the fire.

Valentin Berestov

I was friends with a giant in my childhood.
We had fun alone.
He wandered through the forests and glades.
I hopped after him.

And he was a real man
With consciousness of his own strength,
And a penknife twirled,
And wore long trousers.

We went together all summer.
Nobody dared to touch me.
And I’m a giant for this
I sang all my father’s songs.

O my noble and proud
Protector, giant and hero!
At that time you finished fourth,
And I moved to the second.

The guys will be equal in height
And they will become friends on an equal footing.
I grew up. I finished ninth,
When you died in the war.

Heroes

Valentin Berestov

There were bumps on the forehead,
Lanterns under the eye.
If we are boys,
Then we are heroes.

Scratches. Splinters.
We are only afraid of iodine!
(Here, without hesitation, tears
The commander himself is shedding.)

Let the head be in green
And the leg in plasters,
But there are still strengths,
To defeat the enemy.

Stubborn, in the morning we are
Again to fight, on patrol!
… From those battles, the scars
are still there.

Other children

Mark Weizmann

Other children eat
like we never dreamed of you.
They, eating everything,
grow into heroes!

They, to the delight of moms and dads,
go to bed so early,
that neither me nor you
can keep up with them.

They don’t forget to put diaries
in their briefcases,
they willingly knock out rugs
.

And if they occasionally lie,
then it is not on purpose.
That’s just where they live,
no one knows for sure!

Everyone knows that a man
Passionately awaits the birth of a son,
Only a daughter over the course of days
Loves more and more.
Warm little ball,
Lacy funny little bag,
Let there be little weight in it for now,
Daughter – daddy’s princess.
Let her grow up
Both beautiful and smart.

The boy was choosing a rose carefully,
So that the others would not be crushed,
The saleswoman looked anxiously:
Help him, not help?

Thin fingers in ink,
Bumping into flower thorns,
Chose the one that opened
Petals this morning.

Scooping out his change from pockets,
To the question – to whom did he buy?
He was embarrassed in a very strange way:
“Mom…”, – he whispered barely audibly.

-Birthday, she is thirty today…
She and I are very close friends.
Only now she is in the hospital,
Soon I will have a brother.

Run away. And we were standing with the saleswoman,
I am over forty, she is over fifty.
Women should have been born,
To raise guys like that.

If I were a girl

Eduard Uspensky

If I were a girl –
I would not waste time!
I would not jump in the street,
I would wash my shirts,

I would wash the floor in the kitchen,
I would sweep the room,
I would wash the cups, spoons,
I would peel the potatoes myself,

I would put all my toys myself
I would put them in their places!
Why am I not a girl?
I would help my mother so much!

Mom would immediately say:
“Well done, son!”

Mom in the garden

Galya Dyakonova

Mom knelt down
In front of him in the grass.
The sun dances on her hair,
On a blue sailor suit,
On a curly head.
Only there, behind the house, shadows…

Mom wants a carnation
Pin to Baby,
— That’s why she sat down.
Hands are white, dress is white…
Grasses cling to her all the way.
– Fingers only crumple the carnation.

– The boy lowered his bright head
to his chest.
– “Don’t twist, my friend, stand straight!”
Mom is very slow!
How to sneak away

Looking for a little trick.
Mom is crying.
On her knees
A flower fell on her.

The sun indulges the look and leaves,
Gilds with an invisible brush
Each petal.
– Only there, behind the house, shadows …

Children are the looks of timid eyes,
Playful legs knock on the parquet,
Children are the sun in cloudy motives,
A whole world of hypotheses of joyful sciences.

Eternal disorder in the gold of the rings0015 Peaceful pictures of birds and sheep,
That in a cozy nursery doze on the wall.

Children are the evening, the evening on the couch,
Through the window, in the fog, sparkles of lanterns,
The measured voice of the fairy tale about Tsar Saltan,
About the mermaids-sisters of the fabulous seas.

***

He softly sniffs at my side,
So trustingly squeezing my finger.
And I mentally praise God –
Now I have my boy.
He is already saying: “Mom!”
And laughs when he sees me.
I will become kind for him,
The most loving mother in the world.
How many restless days there were,
You can’t find a moment for yourself.
But I forgot how I lived,
Without him, without my baby.
How many more bad weather there will be,
I am not afraid in their expectation.
After all, happiness is incomparable to anything –
At night, listen to his breathing.

Flipping through the album
With childhood photos,
Remember the past with sadness
About those days when we were together.
How will you want
At this time to return again
To sing a song for them,
Touch the cheeks with tender lips.
And while children’s laughter is in the house,
There is nowhere to go from toys,
You are the happiest in the world,
Please take care of your childhood!

***

I take your hand in my hands
And kiss the wreath on your wrist.
It was not in vain that I experienced torment,
To give birth to such happiness.
Fingers of your hand
I warm my cheek.
And, looking into our window,
The night admires you.
Sleep stroked long eyelashes,
Writing fairy tales for you.
I wonder what you will dream about,
My beloved daughter.

***
What power in a small hand!
The kid is walking, legs are crossing,
He is my whole world, clenched in a fist,
Walking along the path with me.
And me, who has experience and a home,
Friends, advances and pay…
Now I’m walking and thinking about
That there is no support, stronger than this pen. .

***

my son
I can not sleep with him at night,
When my son is sick.
Can I give my life,
When my son needs it
I proudly call myself a mother!
I am grateful to my son for this!

Mom’s Helper

My mom and I are friends!
Where my mother is, there I am!
If she cooks soup, I help:
I take apart cups and pots.

Mom washes the floor – I’m next to her,
I spill it on the floor harder.
If there is laundry in the house, I am not shy
I pour powder and do not regret it.

Well, what if mom is on the Internet
Here I am most needed on the planet!
I help my mother a lot:
I press the buttons with zeal!

Mom looks at me. Sighs.
Everything is clear. Obviously approved!
That’s how my mother and I are friends:
Wherever mother is, there of course I am!

What is happiness?
Such a simple question
Probably asked
More than one philosopher.

Actually
Happiness is simple.
It begins
With half a meter of growth.

These are undershirts,
Bootees and a bib,
Brand new described
Mother’s sarafan.
Ripped pantyhose,
Broken knees,
These are painted
In the corridor of the wall.
Happiness is soft
Warm palms,
Candy wrappers behind the sofa,
Crumbs on the sofa.
This is a whole bunch of
Broken toys,
This is a constant
Rattle of rattles.
Happiness is heels
Barefoot on the floor.
Thermometer under the arm,
Tears and injections.
Abrasions and wounds,
Bruises on the forehead,
This is permanent
What? but why?
Happiness is a sled,
Snowman and slide.
Small candle
On a huge cake.
It’s endless
“Read me a fairy tale”,
These are daily
Khryusha with Stepashka.
This is a warm nose
From under the blanket,
Bunny on the pillow,
Blue pajamas.
Splash all over the bathroom,
Foam on the floor.
Puppet theatre,
Matinee in the garden.

What is happiness?
There is no easier answer.
Everyone has it –
These are our children!

A.A. Fet

Beautiful, she stood quietly…

Beautiful, she stood quietly,
Her baby brother was also quiet,
She whispered words of prayer to him,
She was beautiful at that moment.

And so beautiful was the baby in her presence
Curly-haired, with faith in blue eyes,
And how much humility is in the sign of the cross,
How wonderfully there is a lot of children in prayers!

Right next to me is the antediluvian
And a smart dandy, invisible to people —
Even if out of friendship he imparted sarcasm
His insensitive irony.

***

Take care of your children,
Do not scold them for pranks,
The evil of your bad days
Never take it out on them.
Do not be seriously angry with them
Even if they are at fault,
There is nothing better than tears,
That have rolled down from the eyelashes of relatives.
If fatigue knocks you down,
There is no urine to cope with it
Well, your son will come up to you
Or your daughter will stretch out your arms,
Hold them tight,
Treasure your childish caress
This happiness is a short moment,
Hurry up to be happy.
After all, they melt like snow in spring,
These golden days will flash by,
And they will leave the hearth of their native
Your children who have matured.
Flipping through the album
With childhood photos,
Remember the past with sadness,
About those days when we were together.
How will you want
At this time to return again,
To sing a song for them little ones,
Touch your cheeks with tender lips.
And while children’s laughter is in the house,
There is nowhere to go from toys
You are the happiest in the world
Please take care of your childhood.

You are sleeping, my little friend,
Innocent heart of an angel.
I’ll quietly go to the bed,
And kiss you on the cheek.
I’ll carefully, breathing a little,
I’ll cover you with a blanket.
My soul lives in you,
In a little tired child.
You will turn on your side,
Smiling nonchalantly in your sleep.
Sleep sweetly, my dear son, –
Whisper, touching your hair.
Meekly keep your dream
I will be the dark nights.
Oh, my God, do not let me comprehend
He is anxious and sad.
I’ll put it in my little hand in the morning
A gift from a forest bunny.
There is nothing dearer to me
Your mischievous look.
And when you wake up, I’ll come up,
I’ll see the joy in cute eyes.
It’s good that kids
They believe in fairy tales with such a desire.
Oh, mommy, – you whisper to me, –
Who was today, guess?
Came to me from the forest
My good friend, fluffy bunny!
And joy and delight in the eyes,
And overflowing and sonorous laughter,
And I will kiss your
Gift clenched hands!

I pray for you

I pray for you, my dear,
So that God keeps you from misfortune,
So that good luck covers you with a wave,
It does not break so that the heart is broken into pieces.
I am praying. May the Lord descend
And relieve you of anxiety.
May the Lord take you far away
Your route from a dangerous road.

I pray for you, my dear.
Although fate gives us lessons,
But let people in cold and heat
Not be cruel to your life.
I pray for you, for one thing.
You are my soul, sun and air.
Without you, my house is inhospitable,
Without you, the best rest is not a holiday
I pray for you. I – pray …
For you, I am ready to try.
I’m afraid of only one thing in life:
God forbid I stay without you!

Short poems about children

Helper

It’s hard for mom, I know that.
I often help her –
I’ll put all the toys in a row,
I’ll tell her how to wash.
Would grow up to the table,
I could do a lot.

Multi-colored gift

I am a multi-colored gift
I decided to give it to my mother.
I tried, I drew
with four pencils.
But first, I pressed the red one too hard,
And then, after the red one, I immediately broke it
The purple one broke,
And then the blue one broke,
And the orange one broke…

***

Dads walk under the windows,
Toil,
Dads walk,
Terribly worried,
All of a sudden
Embracing,
All of a sudden
Suddenly kissing.
They become immediately
Tearful
And they wipe their noses
Handkerchiefs…
And outside the windows
Moms are happy
In arms with sons
And daughters.
The sun is shining
Affectionately, affectionately,
At the porch, my dad and I
With a stroller,
I’m ready to shout at the top of my lungs:
– We came to receive the little brother!

***

Bending over the baby’s bed,
You smile a little tired.
And carefully, without breathing,
Slightly straighten the blanket.
Your little one is sleeping sweetly,
How angels probably sleep.
And a little nose sniffs
Beloved son or daughter.
Their dreams are carefully preserved by their mother
Sometimes she deprives herself of sleep…
Her protection is like granite,
Even though she looks so fragile.
But maternal love
A hundred times stronger than all misfortunes.
She is the protector of all dreams,
In which Happiness smiles.

***

I am walking with my daughter,
I am holding her hand.
I’m walking with my daughter,
And I see a cat nearby,
I see puddles and bushes,
I see different flowers,
Beetles, bumblebees, daisies
And various pieces of paper.
Everything is unusual for her.
And the world is not yet clear.
And next to her
My world came to life –
Huge and beautiful!

Poems for mother

Sweet and tender voice
A bird is hovering over me.
How easy and serene
Next to my dear mother!

I will take her hand,
I will look into her eyes.
Her laughter will drive away the cloud,
A tear of rain will fall.

I’ll sit on my mother’s knees
And I’ll hug you comfortably.
I don’t need sweeter happiness,
I’m not afraid of anything!

Funny poems about children

Andrey Bely

Quarrel

Two daughters of an old count braided their braids like a snake
.
When watering flowerbeds, watering can
is drawn from a barrel.

Here they are sitting on a bench,
picking up cutesy skirts,
placing a watering can
on the sand and folding sponges into a heart shape.

But as soon as the image of a strict governess disappears in the window
,
squabbles arise
and show horns to each other.

Skirts, legs flashed,
curls smoothed with a comb …
Paths
were compacted with fine gravel and crushed stone.

***
Children taken from mother’s fairy tales,
From blue skies, from sweets with a surprise,
From pencils, mother-of-pearl paints,
With which mother draws sketches.
From white doves, beautiful bouquets,
From gentle whispers in the long night,
From once sung cheerful couplets,
Daughters are born from father’s caress.
And from mischievous and true stories,
Which dad told mom
About sunny childhood, from books in which
Brave people of the sea conquered
Sons will be born.
And strong birds
Waving their wings, they will bring to the cradle
A wonderful particle of mom and dad,
Which they were waiting for and wanted.

When I become an adult

V. Lunin

When I become an adult,
I will let my son do everything:
Eat sour cream with my hands
And jump on my back,
Wallow on the sofa,
Carry a beetle on the wall,
Do not wash your face,
Screaming,
Run through the puddles,
Cut off the legs of a chair,
Do not sleep and do not dine,
Riding a cat,
Turn the clock spring,
Drink water from the tap . ..
I will let my son do everything ,
When I become an adult!

Adult children

Anatoly Movshovich

Adults –
One has only to look at them
,
and immediately see how much childhood they have.
Both in father and mother,
and in a strict passer-by,
and in old grandfather
with grandmother – too.
This is especially noticeable,
when they break something,
suddenly break it,
when they buy a new thing from pay
,
when they receive a gift
from their granddaughter.
They know how to laugh,
like children.
But they are all adults –
adult children.
And so
differ from children,
that they have little time
for the game.

Different children

There are quiet children. To nap on the shoulder
Affectionate mother has a sweet day for them.
Their weak hands do not rush to the candle –
They do not play with fire.

There are children – like sparks: they are akin to a flame.
In vain they are taught: “After all, it burns, don’t touch it!”
They are capricious (because they are sparks!)
And boldly seize fire.

There are strange children: insolence and fear in them.
Slowly cross yourself in autumn,
They approach, do not dare, turn pale in tears
And crying run away from the fire.

My dear! Your judgment was too careless:
“I was afraid of the fire – so perish in the darkness!”
Your accusations gnaw at my heart
And they bent my soul to the ground.

There are strange children: because of their fears
They die on foggy days.
They have no salvation. Think of them
And don’t blame me too much!

You bent my soul to the ground for a long time…
— My dear, your judgment was so merciless! –
But still I am your heart – and in the darkness
“In a few bright minutes!”

Job Titles in Digital Marketing

As mentioned before, half of the world is on the internet. And it’s estimated that in the next few years, every business – big or small, will have an online presence. This will create a huge amount of career opportunities for digital marketers. The career options in this domain are:

  • Digital Marketing Manager: Digital marketing managers are tasked with creating awareness about their brands among potential customers using digital platforms. They plan, implement, and manage marketing campaigns to market products. Digital marketers may become marketing managers after gaining a couple years of experience.
  • SEO Manager: Search engine optimization is an area that every digital marketer is familiar with. Some choose to specialize and focus exclusively on boosting a site’s search ranking. SEO managers are responsible for developing efficient Search Engine Optimization techniques. They optimize the keywords that are most likely to be typed in the search bar. Keyword optimization is done to increase the ranking of the website on a search result page and subsequently increase the website’s traffic. They make use of Google Analytics for compiling performance reports and also deal with off-page as well as on-page optimization.
  • Content Manager: Content managers are responsible for creating a brand identity and online presence through the creation and dispersal of multimedia content. These professionals typically deal with a company’s blog, copywriting, email communications, video and audio marketing, and guest blogging. If you’re drawn to the more creative aspects of your work as a digital marketer, you might ultimately forge a career in writing and managing content.
  • Copywriter: Some digital marketers choose to flex their creative muscles and focus on writing. Copywriters refine the content developed by the content team, which helps a company get more responses. They also help social media managers and search engine marketers choose suitable words for their content.
  • Social Media Manager: Digital marketers who are especially skilled at getting Likes, reeling in followers and spotting shareable content will excel as social media managers. Simply put, they’re responsible for enhancing the presence of their companies on social media platforms.

Employees in San Francisco, Boston, and New York earn more than the national average at 37%, 18%, and 9%, respectively. Content managers in Washington, D.C. earn the lowest at 3% less than the national average.

Copywriter Salary

The average compensation of a copywriter in the United States is $53,282 per year. And of course, the compensation varies with experience and location.

An entry-level copywriter may make over $41,523 per year, while senior copywriters take home around $59,333 per year. A copywriter in their mid-career earns an average compensation of $60,701 per year.

Digital marketers who specialize in copywriting and are based in San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles earn more than the national average – 50%, 19%, and 18% respectively. Copywriters in Dallas, Texas earn the lowest at 16% less than the national average.

If you choose to focus on copywriting rather than working more broadly as a digital marketer, you could increase your earning potential by learning about SEO, which often influences an organization’s content goals.

Start Your Career in Digital Marketing

In addition to the above-mentioned careers, there are other digital marketing job profiles that specialize in specific domains. These are Pay Per Click Specialists, Email Specialists, CRM Consultants, and Influencer Marketers. The Rising Demand for Digital Marketing Roles in 2022

With a rapid rise in ecommerce and remote work, digital has become an overnight reality for millions of businesses. Finding upward mobility in conventional industries can be very challenging. Organizations that have solidified their business models and streamlined processes can function with lean management, leaving little or no scope for internal promotions. However, this isn’t the case when it comes to digital marketing. There is plenty of room for promotions because of rapid job growth within the industry as companies expand their digital marketing operations and even create new leadership and executive roles for digital marketing specialists.

4. Be Your Employer

With the skill set of a digital marketer and an entrepreneurial streak, you can skip employment altogether and choose to work for yourself instead. What Components Affect Your Digital Marketing Salary?

And today, there are more than 280,000 digital marketing jobs listed on LinkedIn. In that, 12,000 are added each week.

The digital marketing salary depends on various factors. A few of them are:

Educational Background

According to LinkedIn, a bachelor’s degree is a must for becoming a digital marketer. It can be in communications, business administration, advertising, or journalism. Many digital marketing professionals have started their careers without having a college education in the present era. Based on specialized courses, like SEO, SEM, data analytics, and more, they have initiated their marketing career. However, you must know that more educational qualifications will help you command a better salary.

Experience

If you have more than five years of experience as a digital marketer, you can expect more than your previous digital marketing salary. The more years you work, the more the salary you will get. However, the number of years is not the sole reason for gaining experience. If you work in a specific industry or deal with specific tools, you might make more than a marketing copywriter. The same is true for people who work in the AI and machine learning industries.

According to LinkedIn, a senior digital marketing director earns $105,000, a mid-level digital marketing manager earns $70,000, and a fresher digital marketer earns $52,000 per year.

Skills

If you possess both hard and soft skills, such as knowledge of technical SEO, link building, strong interpersonal skills, and communication, there’s a possibility you’ll be paid higher than your challengers. You must acquire the most in-demand digital marketing skills, such as SEO, social media marketing, project management, audience building, data analysis, and copywriting.

Geography

Location plays an important role in determining your digital marketing salary. According to Indeed, a digital marketing manager gets $76,477 in New York, while the same gets $67,170 and $66,248 in Chicago and Denver, respectively. The remote location is becoming more commonplace these days, which is reflected in the digital marketing salaries.

Company

The top tech companies provide handsome salaries to their employees. There is no exception in the digital marketing salary as well. Startups provide the best salaries to skilled and experienced candidates who add value to the company. According to Payscale, the average salary of a digital marketing specialist is $51,209 in the US. Various top companies that offer lucrative digital marketing salaries are Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, Fortira, Apple, Intel, Meta, etc.

What personal qualities should an Internet marketer have?

A combination of soft and hard skills is important for any profession. We talked about hard skills above. This is all that can be learned. What an Internet marketer should know to work in a company. But for success in the profession, individual qualities of a person, the so-called soft skills, are also important.

What soft skills are important for an Internet marketer?

● Sociability

You will have to communicate not only with colleagues within the team, but also with customers. It is important to be able to explain tasks to designers and other specialists, justify the advantages of your product to the client, and resolve conflicts.

● Analytical skills

The profession combines both creativity and analytical work. You should not be afraid to work with numbers, analyze the relationships between them, test different hypotheses.

● Interest in new

In a profession associated with new technologies, you can’t travel on familiar tools for a long time. Some updates are constantly appearing: social networks add new features, analytics programs change the interface, search engines improve their algorithms. Yes, even advertising a product using the same creatives and texts will not work for a long time. An Internet marketer must be open to new things and constantly be on the lookout for fresh ideas.

● Creative approach

Sometimes you need to try to find the very method of promotion that competitors have not yet used. Creativity is also required to create content.

Who wouldn’t want to become an internet marketer?

● For those who are used to working alone

Effective product promotion is directly related to the work of the team. None of the coolest specialist can develop strategies, write texts, shoot videos and process images in Photoshop equally well. Therefore, the whole process of work depends on how much a marketer knows how to communicate with people.

● For those who can’t sit still

Mindfulness is a key skill for an online marketer. And this is directly related to perseverance. If you hate numbers, often make mistakes from inattention – Internet marketing is not your stop. Of course, here this is not as strict as in accounting. But if you constantly indicate the wrong cost of the goods in the ad or put a tick in the advertising account in the wrong place, problems will definitely arise.

● For those who find it difficult to change

Conservatives in Internet marketing will have a hard time. This profession is probably one of the fastest growing after IT. If you get used to new interfaces for a long time and do not like to constantly introduce something new, Internet marketing is not for you.

How in demand is the profession of an Internet marketer in 2021?

According to the Association of Internet Trade Companies, in 2020, sales on the Internet increased by 58.5% compared to last year. Such a sharp jump is associated with a pandemic. But even after everything is over, the market will definitely not fall. It just starts to develop at a slower pace.

Since the sale of goods via the Internet is developing more and more every year, promotion specialists will definitely be in demand. Therefore, all businesses presented on the Internet can be called potential employers.

According to HeadHunter, an average of 4.2 people applied for one job in marketing in 2020. The sphere itself is in the TOP-10 most demanded by employers.

How much does an internet marketer earn?

The range of salaries in vacancies for the position of Internet marketer is quite large. Therefore, if you ask “how much does an Internet marketer earn?”, you are unlikely to get a definite answer. A novice specialist can be paid 25,000, and an experienced specialist up to 250,000 or even 500,000.

But there are still averages. For example, the average salary of an Internet marketer in Moscow is 69,413. The higher the salary, the fewer vacancies.

When looking for a job, you should carefully read the job description. Indeed, under the vacancy of an Internet marketer, any profession from this area can be hidden: targetologist, SEO specialist, content manager, and so on.

Where to study to become an Internet marketer?

Option 1: go to university

There are no internet marketing faculties at Russian universities yet and, most likely, there will not be in the near future. University education simply will not be able to keep up with the development of technology.

But at the university you can get a basic marketing education. It will give an understanding of the psychology of consumers, teach you how to analyze statistics and determine the target audience.

Marketing also often comes with a sociological and journalistic education. Analysis of statistics and the ability to write texts will definitely help in the profession.

Option 2: take courses

Now there are a lot of online and offline courses on Internet marketing. We advise you to go from the general to the particular. First, it would be nice to get basic knowledge about marketing, and only then move on to studying advertising cabinets.

What to look for when choosing courses? It is good if, in addition to theory, the course will work on a fictitious or real project. After all, it’s one thing to listen to a lecture on setting up advertising in Yandex. Direct, and quite another to try to create advertising with your own hands.

It will also be useful to talk with experts. For example, consulting an Internet marketer with experience will help you better understand the features of the profession.

Option 3: find an internship

Many people think that without work experience and education in the field of marketing, finding an internship will be unrealistic. This is not entirely true. Almost any of your experiences can be presented in a favorable light.

Have you worked as a sales assistant? It means you have knowledge and experience in sales. Have you tried opening your own T-shirt shop? You definitely heard something about the target audience. Even working as a counselor at a summer camp can be beneficial. At least you know how to communicate with people.

Which option is better?

We talked about how a university can provide a good basic education in marketing. But it is definitely not necessary to count on the fact that nothing more will be needed to study.

Internet marketing is primarily self-education. In the course of work, you may need a skill in interacting with an advertising tool that did not exist when you graduated from high school. All this will have to be studied on your own or in courses.

Therefore, if you are just thinking about a profession, the ideal option would be to use all three paths for development. Basic education + specialized courses + self-education.

In any case, practical experience is everything. Whatever knowledge you have gained, only after practice can you master real skills. You will definitely have to fill a lot of cones.

Career growth as an internet marketer

You can work as an Internet marketer on freelance, on the client side and in an agency. Each path has its pros and cons.

Working in an agency is what many recommend starting a marketing journey with. A huge plus is the ability to work with large clients and large advertising budgets. Due to the fact that the agency has many clients, and they are all different, there is an opportunity to work in many areas and try more tools in practice. Then the experience from one project can be transferred to another.

Also, a novice specialist is in a team and can quickly learn, focusing on other more experienced colleagues. Even in the agency, you can pump in communication with clients.

The main disadvantage of working in agencies is a large workload. Due to the fact that you have to work with several clients at the same time, you never know at what point an emergency will happen. And at first, you may have to work almost for free.

On the client side, the upside is that the marketer dives deep into one niche. And narrow specialists are often valued higher. At the same time, working with one product can become boring.

Many people dream of freelancing. But you have to pay for the possibility of a free schedule. A freelancer will most likely not be trusted with a project with a big budget. You should not count on cooperation with a large well-known brand either. Such work is usually assigned to teams of specialists. But you can regulate the load yourself and choose clients with whom it is pleasant to work.

As for career growth, in the early stages, an Internet marketer may be responsible for one direction of promotion. For example, for contextual advertising or SMM. With experience, more managerial responsibilities appear: developing a strategy, coordinating the work of all specialists, and analytics. So you can grow to the head of the department, and in the future, maybe open your own agency.

Internet marketer: the pros and cons of the profession

Let’s sum up and summarize all the pros and cons of the profession.

+

● Demand and career growth opportunities

Internet commerce is developing every year, which means that Internet marketers will be in demand.

● High salary

The salary of experienced specialists is generally higher than the average for the market. True, there is a caveat, which we will talk about in the minuses.

● Ability to work remotely

Not all professions can boast of the possibility of remote work. In this area, even if you work for a company, you may well be allowed to work from home several days a week. Or even completely transfer to a remote work format.

● It is possible to get a job without a university degree

Of course, fundamental knowledge will not hurt, but here they are not as critical as, for example, in medicine. Most of the skills can be acquired in the course of work.

● Creativity + Numbers

If you can’t decide whether you are a humanist or a techie, then you don’t need to. Internet marketing is a combination of creative and analytical work. In one day, you need to evaluate the quality of advertising materials and understand how attractive they are to customers. In the other, spend the whole day analyzing the statistics of the campaign.

● Small salary at the beginning of the journey

Often at the start of a career, companies offer free or very low-paid internships to specialists. Therefore, you actually have to work for the idea. With experience, the situation changes. The main thing is not to give up.

● A lot of routine work

Internet marketing is not around the clock coming up with creative concepts and slogans. Behind creativity is a large analytical base that helps you understand which of your concepts your customers liked and which did not. Such routine work needs to be done almost every day, and you can’t escape from it anywhere.

Terminals

Internet marketing is a fashionable profession now, but not everyone should go into it. If you hate numbers, communication, and creativity, this job might not be for you. For the rest, we encourage you to read more about specific Internet marketing tools in order to understand whether it will be interesting for you to work with them.

Tail of a Scorpion read online Lincoln Child, Douglas Preston (Page 3)

Two weeks later

When they reached the trail leading to Oso Peak, Sheriff Homer Watts stopped, removed his flask from his saddlehorn, and took a sip of water. The view from the trail was breathtaking: the slopes overgrown with cedars descended to the desert far below. The coming September added a pleasant freshness to the mountain air, fragrant with pine needles. It’s been a long time since Homer Watts took a day off, and now it’s been a fine day, as if on cue. Well, just a gift from above!

Watts patted the neck of his horse Chaco affectionately, hung up the flask and tapped the horse’s sides lightly with his heels. Chaco moved slowly forward, up the trail to the headwaters of Nix Creek. Watts brought with him everything you need for a relaxing day of fishing: a bamboo spinning rod in an aluminum tube, a bait box with flies and maggots, a catch basket, a knife, a compass, lunch, a flask of whiskey and an old pair of grandfather’s Peacemaker Colts in the same ancient holsters.

He rode slowly along the trail, through shade and sun, past thickets of yellow pine [Pine yellow (or Oregon, or ponderosa) – a large tree of the pine family, grows in western North America.] and flower meadows, lulled by the gentle rocking in the saddle . On the ledge, woodland gave way to a wide meadow, on the far side of which three black-tailed deer, a male and two females, were grazing. The sudden appearance of Watts frightened the animals, and they rushed away. He stopped and looked after them.

Crossing the meadow, the sheriff noticed a puff of smoke to his left in the foothills, on a plateau at the foot of the mountains. He stopped his horse again, took out his binoculars and aimed them at the suspicious spot. It’s a dry season right now, and a fire could be catastrophic. But, looking through the eyepieces, Watts was convinced that it was not smoke at all, but chaotic clouds of sandy dust, kicked up by some activity on the plateau. The sheriff knew the area well, and there was an abandoned mining camp called High Longsam, one of the most isolated and untouched ghost towns in the southwest.

Well, how is this to be understood? Someone obviously started something, and judging by the size of the clouds, something is not good.

Watts hesitated. Turning to the right, the trail will take him to Nix Creek, where he will have a calm day with a fishing line on the banks of a babbling stream, in whose deep pools and whirlpools rainbow trout flicker. And having gone left, Watts will go down to High-Lonsam and, how to drink, run into big trouble.

“Damn!” thought Watts, slowly turning his horse to the left.

The terrain descended steeply, the trail meandering along the Gold Ridge. Gradually alpine pines were replaced by junipers. Watts rounded the side of the ridge and in front of him was a ghost town, a sprawl of old mud-brick and stone buildings on the edge of the plateau. Watts stopped his horse and took out his binoculars again. His suspicions were confirmed: well, exactly, a black digger. A man was shoveling sand out of the basement of a destroyed house with a shovel, a pickup truck was parked nearby.

The Sheriff’s ears were pounding. He knew High Lonsam like the back of his hand: his father had taken him on hikes since childhood. This remote ghost town that few have heard of has escaped the looting and vandalism that has plagued most of the state’s deserted mining towns. Of course, from time to time, drunken teenagers who came from Socorro to wander in the mountains for the weekend were hooligans here, but there were no serious incidents in High Longsam. This place was not even mentioned in any of the New Mexico ghost town guidebooks. Still, try to get here.

But here’s some son of a bitch planning to make money here.

Watts left the trail and moved on, hiding among the cedars. He wanted to grab the black digger and therefore could not allow him to notice the sheriff and run away. In fact, the whole area was under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management, and therefore not within the jurisdiction of Watts, but he, as the elected sheriff of Socorro County, had every right to arrest this bastard and turn him over to the Bureau police.

After a while the slope leveled off. Watts set his horse at a light pace and rode out into an open area on the outskirts of the city. The black digger could not be seen from there: buildings blocked the far part of the plateau. Watts directed the horse through the streets of the city, trying not to catch the criminal’s eyes. The wind roared relentlessly through the ruins of the houses, and tumbleweeds swept past in a scene from a western.

As they got closer, Watts got a good look at the pickup truck. He recognized this old Ford: the car belonged to Peak Rivers.

So Peak Rivers. Here’s someone Watts didn’t expect to meet here. Once upon a time, Rivers was a sassy little shit who used methamphetamine and sold antiques to raise money for his addiction. But about two years ago, Rivers took up his mind – a short term in prison scared him a lot – and since then he has not been seen in any offenses.

When they reached the far end of town, Watts stopped Chaco behind the house, dismounted, and tied the reins to a wooden fence post. He patted the horse’s neck again, muttering sweet words. After a moment’s hesitation, he removed both holsters from his saddle horn, took out his weapon, made sure that both revolvers were loaded, put them back in their holsters and fastened them to his belt. God saves man, who save himself. Rivers was one of those who likes to keep his guns in plain sight, and his “Smith-Wesson” with an L-frame was worn exclusively on the hip.

Watts came around the corner and looked around the building where Rivers was digging in the basement. The two-story mud-brick house stood on the outskirts, the top floor almost completely collapsed. The man worked with a shovel in the basement, throwing sand through a broken window. Needless to say, he worked hard. “I wonder what he found there?” thought Watts.

The sheriff approached the house slowly, his hand resting on the handle of the revolver on his left thigh. Rivers obviously found something: he bent down and began to dig more carefully. Finally, he knelt down and began to rake the earth and dust with his hands. He was completely absorbed in his occupation, besides, the basement was shrouded in dust, and Rivers did not even notice that Watts was creeping up behind him.

The sheriff stopped at the entrance to the basement, from where he had a clear view of the hard-working criminal, and called out to him:

— Rivers!

The man froze, kneeling with his back to Watts.

It’s me, Sheriff Watts. Come out with your hands up. Come on!

He did not move.

— Are you deaf or something? Raise your hands.

Without looking back, Rivers obeyed.

“I can hear you, sheriff,” he said.

— Well, if you hear it, get out of there.

– I’m going.

Rivers started to get up, but suddenly dropped his hands and turned around abruptly. Clutching the revolver in both hands, he aimed straight at Watts.

The Sheriff drew his Colt, and at that very moment Rivers’ Smith & Wesson rumbled like a cannon fire.

As Special Agent Svenson emerged from the closet, two junior agents in the hallway cut off the conversation suspiciously quickly. Without making eye contact, Corey walked past and returned to her desk at the FBI regional office in Albuquerque, on Luking Park Avenue. Sitting down, she pulled the folder towards her, the contents of which she studied. Her corner was located in the darkest part of the room, where the light from the windows did not reach. Newcomers were usually seated here, and as they climbed up the career ladder, they were assigned seats closer and closer to the glass wall, behind which a panoramic view of the mountains opened. But Corey was even glad that she didn’t have to look at the eleven thousand feet of Sandia Crest, covered with the first snow of the year, because the only thing that reminded her of this landscape was her failure. What a bitter irony: just two weeks ago, these mountains were linked to Corey’s most successful case in her short tenure. And now she didn’t know at all if she could ever look at the Sandia Mountains without shame and remorse.

After the shootout, the standard and expected investigation was carried out. But Corey was not reprimanded and no disciplinary action was taken against her. Moreover, she received verbal praise for saving a hostage’s life at the risk of her own. And – about happiness! – the bullet only hit the girl, passing on a tangent. She was given several stitches and the next morning she was sent to her grandparents, before which they attached a whole armada of psychologists to her. The blood that had frightened Corey so much belonged to the poor child’s mother, who lay dead on the trailer floor.

Still, Corey couldn’t forgive herself. Even from ten yards, she should have hit the criminal right in the head. After all, she took aim properly, this bastard was at her gun. And the sight of the pistol was not shot down, Corey was later convinced of this in the shooting range. She just missed, gave up at the decisive moment. Of course, in her course, Corey was far from the best shooter, but she was not among the worst. Yes, the results she showed are not brilliant: forty-nine out of sixty – just one point more than the required minimum. But a quarter of her classmates failed the exam at all. Nothing prevented Corey from taking down the criminal with a well-aimed shot, and then she would become the heroine of the day, she would be honored with an announcement of gratitude in the order, further strengthen her reputation and finally establish herself in the status of an agent of great promise.

19 Stimulating Spring Activities for Preschoolers That Will G

But never fear—spring is here! While your routine might still feature many of the same activities or a tried-and-true educational TV show, why not take advantage of the spring season and try something new together?

As the snow melts and the trees begin to bud, spring activities for preschoolers can get them up off the couch and embracing the change that comes with a new season.

If you’re up for some fresh, lively activities to keep your little ones busy, look no further! We compiled a handy list of fun crafts, activities and adventures parents and early childhood educators alike can put to good use.

19 Fun spring activities for preschoolers

1. Go on a worm hunt

Anyone with toddlers knows that the world after rainfall can feel like a magical place. Fresh smells, jumping in puddles and those little creatures that have crawled their way to the surface of the earth are sure to capture the attention of your little one. Whether worms are an object of fascination or disgust, your child is sure to be interested. HowStuffWorks® offers various worm-centered activities that can involve observation, interaction or building the worms a new home.

2. Natural herbal modeling dough

Not only does this natural modeling dough from The Imagination Tree smell good, but it’s no-cook and only takes five minutes to make! Mix in rosemary, thyme, sage or whatever other herbs you enjoy. Your kids will have a blast smashing the dough around, and you’ll enjoy smelling the calming herbal aromas that make everything feel more like spring.

3. Coffee filter window flowers

Inner Child Fun offers this fantastic craft to “create your own sunshine” with coffee filter window flowers. The idea is quite simple: Let your preschoolers paint coffee filters with watercolors and once they’ve dried, cut them out into flower shapes and attach them to the windows with a washable glue stick.

4. Make a play garden

Turn a piece of your yard (or already existing garden) into a play garden for your preschooler! Gardening Know How offers tips on how to design the area, which seeds to use and how to plant real flowers with little ones. The concept of planting seeds and watering them will help kids understand the basics of gardening and maybe even create a passion they will carry into adulthood!

5. Flowerpot painting

Another clever seasonal idea from The Imagination Tree—using thick pastel paint and wide brushes, let your preschoolers paint flowerpots. Double the craft with a gardening lesson or simply go along with your normal planting routine and enjoy your extra snazzy pots. These make great Mother’s Day gifts as well!

6. Fingerprint bunnies & chicks

If you’re looking for a simple craft, these fingerprint bunnies and chicks from Sarahndipities should do the trick! Using stamp ink, have your preschoolers press their thumbs onto the ink pad and press them onto thick cardstock. After that, practice drawing bunny ears or chick feet onto the little prints. Add some fun faces and voila!

7. Rain cloud activity

Many of us have vivid memories of hearing thunder signaling an approaching rainfall. The boom of thunder and the sound of rain can bring up all kinds of feelings in toddlers who don’t quite have an understanding of what is going on around them. Little Bins for Little Hands has made a unique activity that can help young ones begin to process what happens during a storm. By using shaving cream, water and some blue dye, this exciting activity can help your child understand what happens when clouds can no longer hold the water they contain.

8. Paper mache Easter egg

The Chocolate Muffin Tree suggests this great idea to create a multicolored egg made out of paper mache. Using balloons, tissue paper and paper mache glue, create beautiful egg-shaped globes that you can use as decorative hangings or as Easter baskets. Feel free to add glitter if you’d like to glam things up a bit.

9. Easy flowerpot cupcakes

The Imagination Tree brings these lovely little inventions to you. Bake cupcakes in miniature flowerpots at the same temperature as usual. Simply extend the baking time by five to ten minutes. Frost them with chocolate frosting to represent dirt. Then stick a green straw into the center of each cupcake to represent the stem. To top it off, place a flower in the top hole of each straw, and you’ve got yourself a garden of cupcakes!

10. Egg planting experiment

Gardening and a carton of eggs may seem like a strange mix, but Sugar, Spice and Glitter designed a really fun spring activity that combines both. After creating a hole just big enough to allow the yoke to drain from the egg (which also makes this a great activity to start around breakfast time), the rest of the project uses the eggshells as a miniature garden to plant seeds. On top of creating this mini garden, your child will also have the opportunity to decorate the egg to their liking. Breakfast, gardening and coloring? Sounds like a win-win-win.

11. Growing beans on cotton balls

This excellent experiment by The Imagination Tree is a great way to teach kids about root systems. Stuff some cotton balls in a glass jar and insert a bean or two on either side. Water the cotton balls until they’re damp, place them near a sunny window and watch their little eyes light up as the beans grow and sprout over time!

12. Paper bag tiara

Happy Hooligans came up with this enchanting springtime craft for preschoolers. Cut and shape a paper bag into a crown that fits around your little one’s head. Then, using a hot glue gun, attach fake flowers and green raffia. Preschoolers can use this style accessory for all sorts of imaginative play or just make a flower child fashion statement.

13. Cherry blossom pompom tree

Play Trains offers one of the more unique tree crafts that you’ll find. When your little one looks outside and sees the world exploding with new life around them, this is a perfect partnering activity to help them recreate the cycle of nature by using pipe cleaners, pom poms and green felt. This is a craft that they are sure to come back to time and time again!

14. Spring-colored sand play

Buggy and Buddy came up with a great idea for a very simple activity that doubles as sensory play for kids. Pour colored sand into trays and place them somewhere where preschoolers can’t make too much of a mess—we recommend outside since it’s spring, after all! Provide materials like straws, yarn or other objects and allow kids to draw pictures in their sand and create textures.

15. Change a flower’s color with transpiration

Science Sparks brings us this classically fun springtime activity: Placing white carnations in colored water. Once you dye the water, cut the stems a bit and place them in the water, you should start seeing results within a few hours! This is the perfect time for a short science lesson about how the water is absorbed and travels up the stem to the flower petals.

16. Frozen chalk paint

Crush up some chalk and sprinkle it into an ice cube tray. PBS Parents® recommends using different colors in each compartment or layering for a multicolored effect. Freeze them and then take them outside to play with on a warm day. The ice cubes will melt in your preschooler’s hand and leave a lovely chalky color on the paper or ground.

17. Broccoli blossom tree

Does your child struggle with eating their broccoli? Well, this activity won’t help, but it may at least offer another use for all that uneaten broccoli you have in your fridge! The Imagination Tree suggests gathering paper, paint and some broccoli to create the outline of a tree that your child can then decorate more fully. Who knows, it may even inspire a greater appreciation for that healthy vegetable.

18. Erupting rainbows

Did that title catch your attention? Teach Them To Fly lays out a really fun St. Patrick’s Day-themed project that involves baking soda, vinegar and various food dyes. When mixing these ingredients together, your toddler will be delighted at what happens next. A fun and unique way to see the colors of the rainbow while celebrating St. Patrick!

19. Toddler-sized egg roll

Plastic eggs are practically everywhere around Easter time—so why not get a little additional utility out of them? Before you pack them away for next year, Toddler Approved has designed a simple and fun activity that is sure to make your little one smile. All you’ll need to start is a larger cardboard box, and then the fun can ensue!

Language camp for children 6- 6- 9 years with learning English in Moscow E-Camp

Change in February 7-9 years

English language camp for children

It is worth starting teaching English to kids in advance. They learn the material faster and remember it better than older children.

Another advantage of early learning is the minimization of accent. You can often hear how students at school speak with a pronounced accent in the classroom, but avoiding this is simple: let a young student learn the language from the age of 6 along with competent teachers and native speakers.

English Camp for 6-9 year olds

E-Camp with English lessons for kids knows how to teach young students the right way. They need a special approach, so the information is taught in a playful and easy way. The most important thing is to interest, turn the learning event into an interesting and exciting game.

The children’s English camp program for children aged 6-9 consists of many games, interactive and creative tasks. With age-specific restlessness, kids need frequent changes in the type of activity and an integrated approach to organizing classes and leisure.

Summer, winter, spring or autumn holidays with the study of English for children aged 6-9 include 3 daily lessons with Russian teachers. Our teachers have at their disposal the most modern materials for classes with young students. Lessons are held in a comfortable gaming environment.

The benefits of learning a foreign language early

The youngest students grasp and process information at lightning speed, which is why it is worth starting learning as early as possible. An English language camp for children is ideal for this:

  • in early childhood foreign speech seems less difficult to remember;
  • gymnastics for the brain – memorizing new words and speech rules trains the mind of a young student well;
  • improve communication skills;
  • thought processes run faster;
  • improves memory, develops attentiveness and perseverance.

Our English programs for young children not only help your child gain new knowledge, but also develop their thinking skills, prepare better for school and perform better than their peers.

Extra-curricular activities

Extended holidays with permanent English study for children 6-9years can seem like a chore.

Who We Are — California Learning Center

Who We Are

About Us

California Learning Center, Sacramento, developed from the original network of private after-school educational clinics established in 1970. The philosophy and instructional model are based on an education study conducted for the United States government. We have been operating in the Sacramento area since the mid 1980s. California Learning Center is now completely independent, which gives us the flexibility to tailor programs to the individual needs of students, without any restraints imposed by corporate controls. Each student benefits from a completely personally developed education plan.

How It Works

Our research-based programs were developed at California State University, Los Angeles. Diagnostic testing pinpoints students’ strengths and weaknesses, and leads to a personalized program. An individually designed tutoring program, documented in writing, ensures attainment of your child’s goals. We seek input from students’ classroom teachers and integrate it into the education plans. Activity-based, hands-on experiences stimulate primary and elementary children, while knowledge of the California standards and curriculum content strengthens the academic performances of the middle school and high school students. We teach new topics using a variety of approaches so that students quickly grasp novel concepts. Motivational plans stimulate enthusiasm at all levels – young children love the reward shelf, while our older students appreciate their ‘CLC credit cards’ that reward the effort expended. Our history of success is documented and proven.

Where We Start

To begin, diagnostic testing is administered to all students. We discover how a student learns and what specific educational areas need to be addressed. A complete academic profile is developed for each student, precise strengths and weaknesses are identified, and an individualized teaching plan is developed to address the student’s specific needs. Strong visual learners must be provided with clear materials to learn by seeing, while auditory learners succeed when they hear and talk about new material to be learned. Young students, and many older ones (including adults), learn by doing. When students understand how they learn, they are empowered to head for academic success!

Education Directors

Our directors form a highly experienced team. Before becoming the owner/director of California Learning Center, Sandra Hampton was a public school educator for 17 years. She has taught students from Kindergarten through high school. Sandy’s years as a Resource teacher prepared her for many aspects of leading the California Learning Center. She assessed students with nationally normed standardized tests, met regularly with teachers and parents and studied current methodology for teaching students in the 21st century. In addition, her time as a tutor at California Learning Center introduced her to proven materials and strategies. She implemented those at the school-site learning center where she was the leader for over 10 years.

Sandy earned several awards for teaching . After her first year of teaching, she was awarded the First Year Teacher of the Year Award from her district and was honored by the Roseville Area Schools Outstanding Teacher’s Foundation. Later she earned the Teacher of the Year award at her school site and was eventually honored by Placer County Office of Education for the award of Teacher Who Makes a Difference.

Sandy is dedicated to providing children the opportunity to succeed academically. Teaching students at the California Learning Center provides Sandy the opportunity to support many Sacramento area youth to thrive in school.

Kimberly McElhern is the Director of Middle/High School Programs. She gained her undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley. As a credentialed teacher, Kimberly has taught in both public and private settings. She is experienced at addressing student needs from 1st grade through college level, with a special emphasis on the middle school and high school student, and is qualified to teach language arts and math to an advanced level.

Tutors

We invite only credentialed teachers to work with our students. Tutors, possessing a comprehensive grasp of the curriculum, must have previous teaching experience. They are selected for their successful teaching skills, ability to motivate students, and genuine care and sensitivity in interacting with youth. Our tutors are experienced in recognizing why students encounter difficulties and know how to propose alternative strategies, so that problem areas are circumvented before they become obstacles.

STUDENT / TUTOR RATIO

Students thrive with close teacher contact. We average a 2:1 student / tutor ratio, with a credentialed teacher. Younger students, or ADD children, may benefit from an individual learning situation. Our programs offer each student an individualized program, moving step by step up the academic ladder. All students enjoy 1:1 teacher interaction and personalized learning time. Then they practice applying information recently learned and receive immediate feedback. Studies have confirmed that this is a most effective teaching model and encourages our students to develop a level of independence that is imperative if they are to transfer their newly acquired skills into the classroom.

FAQ — California Learning Center

Q. How do we get started?

A. Contact us to book an appointment for a diagnostic test.

Q. When will we get the results?

A. Usually within a week. You will have a meeting with the examiner who will interpret all the testing, discuss individual goals for your child, and recommend an attendance schedule.

Q. How often do most students attend?

A. That depends on the student’s goals and the speed at which they need to be met. An average attendance schedule is twice weekly.

Q. How long do most students stay with you?

A. Everything is individualized. Some students require two to three months of support. Others may stay for four to six months. We are delighted to support long-term students as they transition from elementary school to the greater challenges of middle and high school.

Q. Does my child have to miss school to come for classes?

A. No. Students attend our program in the after-school hours.

Q. How often will we meet with you to learn about our child’s progress?

A. We suggest a meeting or a call after every 12 hours of instruction.

Q. Can my child do homework with you?

A. We will review homework topics with your child. If help or reteaching is needed, we’ll offer support here, making sure to present new information through the teaching style that is best for your child. If the student is confident with the homework, then we’ll suggest that it is completed at home.

Q. Can my child receive 1:1 teaching?

A. Yes. We will recommend 1:1 sessions for some students. Young students who have few independent skills will benefit from a short period of 1:1 teaching. Soon they’ll be proud to demonstrate that they can achieve with greater independence. ADD children may need a period of 1:1 services. Once the student learns to increase his/her own attention span, it is beneficial gradually to introduce another child nearby, in preparation for the classroom setting. An essential goal for all students is to prepare them for school performance – that means the ability to work successfully alongside other students in the classroom.

Q. Will you talk to my child’s teachers at school?

A. We will ask for your permission to have contact with your child’s classroom teachers. Then we will share the information that we have about your child and discuss how we can work together to benefit your child’s performance. We will report back to you on all our school contacts.

Q. Do you really offer an open-ended commitment? What does that mean?

A. We are committed to the goals that we develop for your student. After a course of instruction, all must agree that he/she has met those goals – teachers at school, parents, tutors and directors at the California Learning Center. Progress is also confirmed by standardized testing. If there are any goals that have not been met, the student will continue receiving instruction from us, at no charge, until the goal / goals are met (however long it may take!)

Sacramento Schools Reveal Who Will Go Online in the New School Year – Diaspora News – Diaspora News

  • !!! THE INFORMATION IS PREPARED AT NOON, JULY 15. For the most up-to-date data, check the links in the article for links to YOUR school district websites.

Greater Sacramento schools have begun reporting plans for the coming year. Students, parents, and teachers are waiting for specific and accurate information, but not all school districts have finalized plans for the upcoming school year and are ready to say exactly what awaits us. But those who have already decided on the system of education, alas, will not be happy …

All over the country, schools are deciding whether to return completely to campus, go online or enter combinations of the two. Anything but “full online mode” is just a “possible scenario” at the moment. School officials say if a state, county or city lockdown bans visits to public places, schools will have to comply with the order.

What is known at the moment.

Elk Grove Unified School District

Schools at Elk Grove Unified School District’s begin on August 13th. On its Facebook page, the district announced that it has decided on FULL online education – link.

San Juan Unified School District

The San Juan Unified School District plans to provide several options in preparation for campus reopening on August 13th. The district is “committed to offering families a choice of three learning models”:

  • Back to 5 days training
  • Return with 2 days hybrid on campus and 3 days remote
  • Fully distance learning

In other words, studies will start on August 13, but in what format no one knows yet. It is expected that the final recommendations will be considered by the Board of Education during this week and the final drafts of the program will be published after Board approval.

Sacramento City Unified School District

The Sacramento City Unified School District starts September 3rd! Sacramento City Unified School District currently has two options to choose from:

  • 100% distance learning
  • Mixed model – students attend school in person and participate in distance learning on different days or hours.

More information on the final plan is not yet available and the district is not ready to respond as it does not know what the state and city will be like by the start of the school year.

San Joaquin County Office of Education

According to the San Joaquin County Office of Education, the Stockton Unified School District plans to begin operations in the 2020-2021 school year in a 100% distance learning format.

Twin Rivers Unified School District

For now, Twin Rivers Unified School District has decided to keep its plan flexible based on the public health situation. For now, students are expected to return to school on August 18 and study in a hybrid model – part of the time in school, part of the time online. But Twin Rivers Unified School District says the information is subject to change and updates depending on the situation in the county, city, state.

Lodi Unified School District

The Unified School District has decided to run 100% online classes with a distance learning model. The decision came after the San Joaquin County Office of Education recommended a distance learning model for schools.

Modesto City Schools

Beginning August 10th, Modesto City Schools begin the school year with a completely virtual learning experience. At the same time, childcare and early childhood education will be open to the public – the kids will be supervised.

Folsom Cordova Unified School District

Folsom Cordova Unified School District will begin the school year on August 12 with fully-distanced learning. The district is currently planning to create a hybrid model for all schools and launch it when the board of directors deems it safe. In the Folsom Cordova Community Charter, students and parents can choose to study at home. Independent study is available for Walnutwood High School students.

Natomas Unified School District

Schools in the Natomas Unified School District will not open traditional dates for the area – school starts a little later on August 27th. By this Friday (July 17), parents in Nathomas County must choose which option they want for their child. Parents can choose between the following learning paths:

  • Five days a week at school
  • Hybrid classes
  • Distance learning
  • Independent Study (IS)

If parents do not choose an educational path for their child, the district will place them in a program where the educational space is available.

Turlock Unified School District

Schools in the Turlock Unified School District will begin 100% online learning on August 12th. The district added that it may also support a hybrid learning model in the future.

Patterson Joint Unified School District

Patterson Joint Unified School District’s Superintendent Philip Alfano has said he is phasing out virtual classrooms and has instead decided to move the start of the school year by a month. At the end of August, the county dates more accurate information about the start of the school year.

Schools in Placer County are yet to announce what exactly awaits students, but are hoping for the best: districts of which there are about 20 in this district (link to full list here) will issue their instructions for opening schools for individual studies soon .

Reopening plans range from fully remote learning to hybrid models to a full, normal return to classrooms – no masks or social distancing. This data from the reports is tantamount to a simple phrase: Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay and other places in Placer County do not yet know and have not decided how exactly school will begin this year.

What’s more, the district has said it will not issue additional guidelines for schools, and the districts will decide on their own how to implement state guidelines for reopening schools in accordance with California Department of Health mandates.

Placer County’s specific class schedule will vary by school district.

For example, the Dry Creek Unified Elementary School district interviewed parents and said it intends to start school with “in-person learning,” that is, in the classroom, on August 5th. Both students and staff will be required to wear masks and sit 6 feet apart. At the same time, a statement was issued:

“This may change based on future state and local government regulations,” the district said in a statement.

“We are in constant contact with the Placer and Sacramento County Department of Public Health, the Placer County Department of Education, and district school district leaders to ensure everyone has the most up-to-date information on which to base reopening decisions. We will notify families as soon as possible if changes are needed. If public health officials order a reduction in the number of people on campus, then a hybrid learning model will be implemented. If health officials order schools to close, Dry Creek will transition to remote learning.”

Since we don’t have specifics for Placer County residents yet, we ask everyone to keep a close eye on their school district websites for updates – website addresses can be found here.

Washington Unified School District – West Sacramento

West Sacramento’s large district The Washington Unified School District said workers had to make the difficult decision to go fully online.

Linda C. Luna, Superintendent writes: “While the decision to go full virtual learning has been difficult and challenging, the Board and I believe that starting the school year in full virtual learning is the safest and healthiest way to ensure our students continue learning even during this pandemic.

To support planning for the district, its staff and families, we will begin the school year with full virtual learning.

We will be monitoring the school in Quarter 1 to determine how we can transition to a model to get as many students back to school as possible based on the health of our community. The next two months will determine whether WUSD stays in full virtual learning mode for the rest of the semester or starts moving to a blended learning model – it all depends on the level of virus control in our community.
