Blue Ivy Carter
The nine-year-old daughter of American singer Beyoncé and rapper Jay-Z has 192,000 followers on Instagram.
Photo: Instagram/blueivy.carter
The eldest daughter of the star couple shows stylish images to fans, shares photos from events that she attends with her parents, and, apparently, from early childhood, she reacts quite calmly to cameras and crowds of photographers.
Moreover, the girl is already taking her first steps in show business. She became the youngest BET Award winner at the age of eight when she won the 2020 BET Her Award for her collaboration on “Brown Skin Girl”, a single by her father, mother, Wizkid and Saint John.
Harper Seven Beckham
Victoria and David Beckham’s nine-year-old daughter is a media personality at her age. The youngest child and the long-awaited girl in a family where three older brothers are growing up, initially attracted the attention of the public. Moreover, her famous mother, a former singer of the cult group Spice Girls, and now a successful designer, sculpted a style icon from a girl in her age group from birth. Therefore, it is not surprising that Harper Seven’s outfits become a top item in stores, as soon as she gets caught in the lens of the paparazzi.
The girl’s Instagram page with 102,000 followers features family photos and videos of her with her parents and siblings Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, as well as cute snapshots of the everyday life of a child from a rich and famous British family.

Kaia Gerber
19-year-old Kaia Gerber is the youngest daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, businessman Randy Gerber.
Kaya’s page has 6 million followers, a million more than her famous mother. Despite the fact that the girl is already an adult and no less famous than her relative, if Instagram had been invented earlier, she would have had even more subscribers.
Photo: Instagram/kaiagerber
The daughter of famous parents always grew up in front of the public, besides, she began to participate in advertising filming quite early. So, in 2006, the public took up arms against her mother for a series of pictures of the baby in an advertising campaign for children’s swimwear brand Melissa Odabash. The fans were especially outraged that transfer tattoos flaunted on Kaya’s skin.
Now Kaya works with leading fashion brands, and she generously shares photos from the shows with her followers. In addition, the page contains family pictures, as well as publications in support of significant and resonant events.
Recall that Hollywood actress Demi Moore showed how the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis grew up. She published a series of pictures for the 27th anniversary of Tallulah’s daughter Belle.
June 16-18 in Moscow at Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery. Bakulev hosted the IV All-Russian Congress of Arrhythmologists with the support of Biosense Webster (Johnson & Johnson LLC), the world leader in the production of high-tech equipment and consumables for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology.
As part of the event, the company organized a round table, a satellite symposium and lectures on modern approaches to the treatment of arrhythmias and heart failure, and also held a master class on the technique of transseptal puncture of the atrial septum during atrial fibrillation ablation under the guidance of an Italian specialist – Dr. De Ponti (Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, Ospedale di Circolo e Fondazione Macchi, University of Insubria, Varese, Italy).
Treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF) – one of the most common arrhythmias, which significantly increases the risk of stroke, mortality and reduces the quality of life – is an urgent problem of modern cardiology. Thanks to high-tech, minimally invasive methods for the treatment of rhythm disorders, such as radiofrequency ablation, it is possible to significantly reduce mortality from cardiovascular diseases and improve the quality of life of patients. This technique is actively used in all leading clinics of the world. For example, in the US or UK, about 250 ablations per million people are performed annually. In Russia, only 100 ablations are performed per 1 million people.
At the symposia and lectures, the participants received comprehensive information about the latest approaches to AF ablation and optimization of this procedure at different stages of its implementation from leading Russian and foreign arrhythmologists, such as Corr. RAMS A. Sh. Revishvili (Moscow), prof. A. V. Ardashev (Moscow), prof. D. S. Lebedev (St. Petersburg), prof. S. V. Popov (Tomsk), MD Pokushalov E. A. (Novosibirsk), prof. K.-H. Cook, prof. C. Papon, prof. M. Essager, Dr. R. Di Ponti (Italy), etc.
“The opportunity to receive specialized training, learn new treatment technologies and share experience with colleagues around the world should become an integral part of the modern system of training Russian healthcare professionals,” commented Danila Usachev, Biosense Webster . “Today, the life cycle of a high-tech medical device has been reduced to about two years, so even the most highly qualified specialists, including arrhythmologists, simply need to constantly improve their skills and professionalism in order to make their work as efficient and safe as possible.”
The lecture of Dr. De Ponty on transseptal puncture of the interatrial septum during AF ablation, as well as practical seminars, during which participants could transform the acquired knowledge into practical skills while working on simulators, aroused great interest among the participants of the congress.

I recently called to inquire about possibly getting after school care for my son. The person who answer the phone was unable to answer my questions so she preceded to get a manager. I was placed on hold and someone pick up while having side conversation then placed me back on hold. The manager then answered and stated “No, not here”. I was confused and I thought maybe she had me and another caller mixed up. I responded by saying “Excuse me, I think you might didn’t understand me. I was calling to see if my 3 year old Autistic child could attend after school care.” The manager respond “NO, we don’t do that here”. As a parent, this was hurtful and as a potential new client this was rude and uncalled for. I kindly told her that she could work on her wording and how she responds. Despite the reviews I was willing to give this location a try but after this experience I will not be sending my infant nor 3 year old to any facility associated with this location.
Move Your Body With These Animal-Inspired Stretches
Have you ever gotten up from a nap or after sitting a long time feeling like you need a nice big stretch? Maybe you find yourself reaching for the stars with your arms or bringing your hands all the way down to the floor to touch your toes.
Stretching is actually really good for you! Not only does it help your body stay loose so you can throw a ball extra-far or do the splits, it can also be a great way to calm your mind and take a break from thinking—like when you’ve been doing schoolwork, learning a new language, or playing the guitar.
And what better way to make a fun activity even more fun than to let animals inspire us for each stretch—plus learn a few fun facts about them along the way.
A huge shoutout to DZ Vegan Kid Athletes, three vegan sisters, for demonstrating each stretch. These girls are impressive athletes who are doing so much for animals by showing that you don’t need to eat meat, eggs, or dairy in order to be strong.

So put some comfy clothes on, find some space, and maybe ask a family member to stretch along with you!
Reach for the Sky Like a Giraffe
Since giraffes are really tall (the tallest mammals on Earth, actually), there’s no better way to act like one than by stretching up as high as you can. Reach your hands toward the sky. As you stretch, pretend to grab leaves from a tree.
Did you know giraffes are herbivores? They eat mostly leaves, seeds, buds, and branches off super-tall trees. They also only need to drink water once every few days! They are very social animals who live together in groups called “towers.”
Touch Your Toes and Sway Like an Elephant
Bend at the hips, and let your arms hang down. Then swing your arms left to right—like elephants do with their trunks!
Elephants are herd animals—all the females in the family stay together their whole lives. Elephants also have excellent memories, and they mourn the loss of friends and family members who have died.
Stretch Your Whole Body Like a Dog
Starting in a standing position, bend down and place your hands on the floor out in front of you and then straighten your legs, pushing back with your hips to stretch your whole body. This stretch is called Downward Dog, and for good reason—maybe you’ve seen a dog stretching like this. You can try shaking your “tail,” too!
Dogs are loving individuals who look to their human families for love and attention. They enjoy being petted and playing games. They are great listeners and can even hear sounds humans can’t.
Crouch Down Like a Frog
Place your feet a little bit wider than your hips, and drop your bottom almost to the floor. Put your fingers on the floor in front of you to help you keep your balance—you’ll look just like a frog who’s ready to leap off a lily pad.
Frogs are so interesting. They can jump over 20 times the length of their own body, and instead of drinking water, they absorb it through their skin! Some frog species use a “babysitter” to watch over their eggs until they hatch.
Stretch Your Belly Like a Snake
Lie down flat on your stomach. Place your hands on the floor on each side of your chest, and push your upper body upward, stretching your tummy.
Snakes smell with their tongues and can even tell which direction a smell is coming from. Most of them are loners—they really enjoy their alone time.
Drop Your Belly Like a Cow
Get on your hands and knees, and drop your belly toward the floor as you lift your chin and chest toward the ceiling.
A herd of cows isn’t too different from a pack of wolves—some individuals are leaders, and there are complex social dynamics. Each cow can recognize 50 or more members of the herd, and relationships are very important to them.
Arch Your Back Like a Cat
After doing the cow stretch, arch your back toward the ceiling as you move your chin down toward your chest.
Cats can jump up to six times higher than their own height. They use different body language, purrs, and other sounds to communicate what they want. They also love to sleep near or on things that smell like their human companion (aww).
*****
That was great! You got your body moving, hopefully you feel more relaxed, and maybe you learned something about animals. Share this with your friends so they can be inspired to take a break and stretch, too. ☺️

Stretching (for Teens) – Nemours KidsHealth
Medically reviewed by: Mary L. Gavin, MD
A balanced exercise routine includes
aerobicactivity, strength training, and stretching. Stretching not only feels good, but may help prevent muscle injuries.
Warming Up
It’s important to warm up your body before any physical activity. Warming up for about 5–10 minutes goes a long way toward preparing the body for exercise.
Warming up:
increases your heart rate and respiratory rate
increases muscle temperature
boosts the amount of blood and oxygen delivered to your muscles
prepares the body for a workout
A warm-up can even be the activity you are about to do but at a slower pace. For example, if you’re about to go for a run, warm up with walking or a light jog. If you’re going to go for a swim, do a couple of slow warm-up laps. If you play a sport, focus on the muscles that are used for your particular sport. For instance, if you play baseball, you might warm up your shoulder with light throwing.
Dynamic stretching uses many muscle groups in a sport specific manner and can be part of your warm-up. Besides warming up the muscles that will be used in the activity, dynamic stretching allows for full range of motion of the joints.
Stretching the Right Way
Stretching used to be considered the main activity before a workout. But traditional, or “static,” stretching may lead to decreased muscle strength and performance, especially if your muscles are not warmed up enough. Stretching cold muscles can lead to injury.
To get the most out of warming up and stretching, try dynamic stretches before and static stretching after a workout.
Stretching properly may reduce muscle injuries and improve athletic performance. It also increases:
flexibility
joint range and motion
blood flow to muscles
Here are some tips on how to stretch properly:
Stop if it hurts. Stretching should never hurt. If you have reached a point in your stretch where it hurts, pull back to where you still feel a stretch but can hold the stretch comfortably.
Hold each stretch for 10–30 seconds. Holding a stretch for any less won’t sufficiently lengthen the muscle. Holding a stretch too long may overstretch muscles. Overstretching may cause injury and decrease performance. Stretch the muscles slowly and don’t force it.
Don’t bounce. Bouncing while stretching may injure the muscle you’re stretching.
Remember to breathe. Don’t hold your breath when you stretch. Inhale slowly and relax into the stretch as you breathe out.
Stretch both sides. You may be more flexible on one side, but try to do equal stretching on both sides. Big differences in flexibility may lead to injury.
Stretch regularly. To maintain flexibility, stretch at least 3 days a week.
Cooling Down
You need to slow down your body after a workout or exercise. Do 5–10 minutes of gentle movement and stretching to help your body recover from a workout.
Your cool-down routine should include gentle movement and stretching. Cooling down and stretching at the end of a workout helps you to:
slow your heart rate and breathing
reduce the chance of feeling dizzy or lightheaded
relax and feel the benefits of your workout
Whether you’re new to working out or a lifelong athlete, be sure to include a good before-and-after routine for better performance and recovery.
Stretching for children – stretching lessons for children with twine
Stretching for children
Stretching is necessary not only for those children who are professionally involved in dancing, gymnastics or other sports. Even for those children who do not want to take places on pedestals, stretching will bring a lot of benefits:
will help to acquire a beautiful correct posture;
will help develop coordination of movements;
will teach you to control your body;
will strengthen muscles and ligaments;
forms a beautiful slender figure.
Children often want to achieve success in sports – sit on the splits, make a bridge, spin the wheel. At a younger age, muscles and ligaments are very malleable and easily influenced, so it is easier and easier for children to translate their plans into reality. The main thing is to draw up a training plan and conduct training only under the supervision of an experienced trainer. The elasticity of the muscles can also play a negative role, because they are very easy to injure. Do not stretch the child without the appropriate knowledge and practice. What will happen in the stretching class? The lesson takes place in several stages, during which a warm-up (warm-up) is carried out, a set of stretching and relaxation exercises is performed. This approach allows you to achieve results quickly and with maximum safety.
Stretching for beginners
Children’s stretching is an opportunity to raise the child’s authority, help him to believe in himself, to make sure that everything is possible. Be sure to contact professional teachers for stretching, especially if the child has not previously played sports. The reason is not only that the twine stretch for children must be carried out correctly. Not every child is ready to completely immerse himself in work, obey the coach and follow all his instructions. The task of the coach is to find an approach to each of the students, to become not a friend for him, but a mentor who does not force, but helps.
What do the kids do during the Cosmo Dance stretching class, since we don’t just do the splits? Our students work on the muscles of the whole body, stretch their legs, back, arms, gain flexibility. We will teach you how to perform a variety of exercises and tricks that young athletes are so eager to master. Now bridges and wheels will not be something inaccessible!
How can I sign up for split and general stretching classes for children at Cosmo Dance? Choose a convenient time for training and a branch of the school that is more convenient for you to get to. You can visit trial classes with different trainers in order to find a teacher that is most appropriate in character and approach for your child.
Split and general stretching for children in Cosmo Dance means treating young athletes as if they were adults, attention and respect for students, an individual approach to each of them. This is an attentive staff and a high level of training of our teachers, comfortable rooms for training and relaxation. This is a place where your child will gain not only the ability to control his body, but also real friends, a great mood and energize. We are waiting for you in class.

More and more in today’s world both parents have employment and need suitable day care centers for their children. These early stages in a child’s life are very important to their growth and development. Choosing a good child day care center is vital, one where the adult won’t just plunk your children down in front of a soap opera all day and feed them Top Ramen. You should look for day care centers that provide learning programs and playtime for your child, along with a safe and healthy environment.
There are many different types of day care centers, ranging from basic nurseries to preschools that will provide more of a learning environment for your children. Some day care centers specialize in a specific age range, while others are more open. When you’re contemplating placing your child in a specific day care center, you should visit each one with your child. In this way, you can see how your child reacts to the other children who are there and to the caregiver. You want your child to be happy and comfortable.
While some day care centers provide a greater variety of activities than others, any good day care center is going to encourage positive interaction among all of the children. They will also have rules that promote good behavior, learning, manners, and child development. You certainly don’t want to have to worry that your child is going to develop bad habits from day care.

While you don’t need to go overboard in choosing suitable day care centers, you should approach the subject seriously and with thought. Your child is going to be spending a good-sized portion of his or her life in day cares and you want to make sure it is going to be a positive experience. Family is the most important thing in the world and you should make sure that your children are your first priority. When you are considering a day care center, you should look at where it is located and how much it costs. There’s not much sense in putting your son or daughter in daycare so that you can work full time and spending most of what you earn on the day care center’s tuitions and your travel expenses. If that’s the case, you might as well stay home with your child. However, if you do truly need the money, there are usually plenty of day care services available and it shouldn’t be too difficult to find one close by that is reasonably priced.
Different Kinds of Child day Care Centers
While child day care centers are common, there is such a huge demand for this service that there are now quite a variety of options available other than basic day care. These include the following:
Home child care or family childcare
Child care services
Preschool
Nursery
Home child care tends to be the most popular option because it is generally more affordable and a smaller environment. While some day care centers are quite large and can provide better early childhood education, it is also more difficult for each child to receive personal attention. Day care centers that are based out of someone’s home are usually more personal and your child can receive more care and nurturing. Most parents want their children to be receiving love and affection, the care that they themselves would give them. They don’t want a day care business that is merely going to make sure that their child is still alive and adequately healthy.
Home child care providers are also more adaptable, generally speaking. This means that if your child likes a certain song sung to them before they take their nap each day, the home care provider is more likely to be willing to do that than someone in a larger day care facility. Most adult home child care providers are parents themselves, making them better able to understand and love your child.
Other Things to Think About
One of the first steps you should take after picking out a family day care center that you think will be suitable for your child is do a little investigating. This can involve talking to the parents of the other children that use the child day care center to see what they think about it. You should also always check to make sure the child care service you are considering is legally licensed to operate in your state. Licensing officials check criminal records and ensure that the child care provider has emergency response training and a safe and healthy environment for the children. As mentioned earlier, it is a good idea to visit the child day care center that you are considering. You should do this at least a couple of times, and try to go at different times of the day so that you can get a better idea of what kind of schedule they have. This will help you to see how your own child would fit in. If you are having difficulties finding the appropriate child care environment for your son or daughter, there are some other options. Some people get family and friends to help out, while others hire a nanny. Adult nannies are a good option because they ensure that your child receives personal attention and quality child care. However, this also means that your child will not receive as much social interaction since he or she won’t have other children to play with like in a family day care center.
No matter what option you decide to go with, make sure that you know who you are leaving your child with. Meet them, get to know them, and let your child do the same. Do some research on the internet to make sure that no one has had negative experiences with the day care center you are considering. Check to make sure that they are legally licensed. Once you have done all of this, you can feel more confident and secure in knowing that you have chosen the right day care center for your child.
Switching Day Care Centers
Choosing Another Child Care Provider
So you want to switch day care providers for your kids but you don’t know where to start or what to choose among the plethora of options out there in this world. It is fittingly one of the most important decisions of a young parent’s journey due to the fact that a child’s first formative years up until the age of six is critical. It is important for parents to not just consider the monetary impact of these choices but also the emotional, intellectual, and social future impacts the choice of a day care provider will have on their kids in the long term future. So let’s discuss some general tips to consider for the parent and the child to consider when one is looking to switch day care providers within a short time frame.
First, you must consider the cost of attending some of the more prestigious and rigorous day care provider centers in your area. In some areas, let’s face the reality that the more money per month per child spent; the better the facilities and the educational value experience offered for your child. Things such as using smart boards and I Pad’s to enhance the learning experience is a very real possibility in these places. However, if a parent is budget conscious they can still afford this experience but it would mean cutting back on all or most non-necessity spending. This would include curbing your eating out habits as well as any leisure entertainment or travel activity and place that money instead into your child’s future day care home. If an expensive day care sees that you are making an effort to keep up with the payments; then they will be more willing to work with you and not let your child leave that place. For a child going to this environment, they need to consider whether or not they will fit into this environment, things like playtime, feeding time, and individual care of the staff- is it received well by the child? These will make the difference between choosing these ones or a cheaper alternative. Cheaper is not all bad if the quality and availability of care is there for your child in the first place.
Secondly, you need to consider your travel times and distance of day care relative to your work and other important places like the hospital, grocery store, bank, and places that you frequent on a daily basis. Is it near enough that you can get to your child should he/she become ill or need special attention so that the day care center can contact you and arrange a meeting with you the same day if needed.
Furthermore, you need to consider the overall cleanliness and friendliness of the day care center provider. Do not underestimate a clean environment for your kid to play and learn in with other kids. Your kid will enjoy making new friends in a clean and safe environment. Plus you as a parent will enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that your child will not be being home any unwanted germs and diseases into your house. Parents must also consider if there is a dispute over payment and care; how does the management and staff deal with such requests? If there is a lackadaisical approach to your core issues; then that is a bad prelude of things to come concerning your child’s care. Your child will probably feel like he/she is being neglected or not fed on time and will start to complain to you ever so slightly that something is not right. When they do, do not hesitate to take them out of that day care center and find another one immediately.
In a recessionary economy, it is okay and permissible for both parents and kids to demand the best care for their dollar. Make your day care dollar stretch by reading all of the material and brochures and visiting every day center on your list until you find that perfect fit for your child. It’s out there; it is just waiting on you to find it!
Child Care Options for Low Income Families
One of the most frustrating aspects of being a working citizen is not having the ability to afford childcare. The majority of day care facilities charge as much as $300 per week for each child. That amount is difficult for middle-class citizens to pay. Low-income families cannot fathom paying such an expense. Luckily, the government and the various states have developed programs that help low-income families get the childcare they deserve. The following is some information on those programs:
Extended Day Program
The extended day program can assist low-income working parents during the regular school year. Many school districts offer this program. The school keeps children before and after school hours for a small monthly fee. A parent can drop a child off as early as 7:00 a.m. and pick the child up as late as 6:00 p.m. This program is excellent for low-income workers with daytime weekday jobs. The cost is approximately $150 per month for before and after school. The weekly rate is approximately $37.50, which is extremely competitive.
The attendants participate in various activities with the children before and after school. They help the children with their homework so that the parents have less stress when they come home from work. They give the children a full breakfast in the morning program and a snack in the evening program. Parents can opt to pay for the morning program only, the evening program only, or both programs. The evening program is the more expensive of the two because it lasts so many hours after the school releases the children. The evening program is $100 while the morning program is $52.
The Child Care Assistance Program
CCAP is a special program that provides childcare assistance to certain low-income families. People who are collecting TANF are automatically eligible to receive this assistance. Teenage parents who are working on obtaining their educations are also eligible for CCAP. Those who are not collecting TANF can still qualify if they are pursuing education that will improve their work skills and job opportunities. Parents can apply for CCAP assistance with the Department of Children & Family Services. The financial guidelines for qualification are along the lines of a $3,000 per month income threshold for a four-person family. The applicant must have proof of income, social security cards, birth certificates, and immunization records for all children. Application processing can take up to 30 days.
Head Start
Head start is a program for children between the ages of three and five. The program provides childcare services and medical services to the children who qualify. It is funded by the Administration of Children’s Services. The Head Start program covers childcare from 7 a. m. to 5 p.m. Teachers work with the children to fine-tune their social and developmental skills. Those who are interested in the program may apply online. Applicants go on a waitlist until there is an available slot in the program. It is best for an interested person to complete an application as quickly as possible since the wait may be extended.
Child Care Voucher Program
The Child Care Voucher Program is in effect in many states throughout the United States. It provides a subsidy of up to 95 percent of childcare cost to low-income families. Subsidy recipients will choose an eligible provider from the list of licensed providers. They may also select a relative or an in-home provider. The Child Care Voucher Program covers the childcare from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. This is known as the traditional childcare period. However, the program also covers non-traditional times for parents who work odd shifts. It covers nights, weekends, and evenings.
A wide variety of options is available for low-income childcare. Many stay-at-home moms also run small day care businesses in which they discount their services. There is a way to make working and taking care of your children affordable.

12 child athletes and their coach were hospitalized in the Tuapse region with signs of intestinal infection. Rosprirodnadzor and the Investigative Committee reported on checks in connection with mass poisoning.
An epidemiological investigation has been launched into an outbreak of an acute intestinal infection among a group of athletes from the Moscow region who came to rest in the village of Shepsi, Tuapse district, the department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Krasnodar Territory reported late on July 18.
“Specialists of the [sanitary] service, as part of the epidemiological investigation, took samples of food, drinking water, swabs were taken from environmental objects, material from people was selected for research. An epidemiological investigation is underway. OKI is being established,” the publication says in the management’s telegram channel.
The regional administration of the TFR also reported on the beginning of the inspection. According to the agency, on July 17, 12 children aged 11 to 16 and one of the accompanying people went to the hospital and were hospitalized in the infectious diseases department.
“According to preliminary data, on July 10, 2023, a group of children together with a coach arrived in the village of Shepsi, Tuapse district, and settled at one of the recreation centers. On July 16, 2023, despite the current ban on swimming due to the unfavorable sanitary and epidemiological situation, “A group of minors swam in the Black Sea. On the night of July 17 this year, 12 minors and one of the adults felt unwell, and therefore sought medical help,” the agency’s website reads.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the condition of the children and the coach is satisfactory, there is no threat to their life and health. Earlier, the authorities of the Tuapse district reported that due to flooding, from July 12 to July 26, there is a ban on swimming in the sea in order to prevent the deterioration of the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the region, TASS writes.
As the “Caucasian Knot” has reported, on July 11-12, after heavy rains in the Tuapse region, the banks of the river overflowed, and a state of emergency was introduced in the Dzhubga, Tenginsky, Novomikhailovsky and Nebugsky settlements. Five people died in the flood, in Novomikhailovsky 160 people were evacuated from flooded houses.

Children from Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug spoke about bullying in the camp near Yekaterinburg – Latest news from Khanty-Mansiysk, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yugra0001
Children were humiliated by being called reindeer.
The parents of Nefteyugansk demand that measures be taken against the employees of the Mednaya Gorka camp near Yekaterinburg, who abused and beat their children.
Children from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug went on vacation on June 27, but only on July 17 did their parents learn about the incident. It was on this day that they met the children from their vacation. According to the teenagers, they could not tell about the bullying earlier because of the threats of the camp staff.
And they, in turn, behaved impudently and defiantly. They scolded pupils, threatened when they wanted to complain to their parents, watched minors in the shower and in the toilet.
“When my daughter was bathing, one of the caregivers stood and watched. And my daughter was shy and did not want to take a shower after such a thing. My sister, whose daughter was also in this camp, personally heard threats against one of the girls when she wanted to complain to her mother, ”one of the mothers reports the words of the child.
Several children returned home sick. According to them, they tried to complain to the doctor about being unwell, but she did not believe them. In addition, the children were publicly humiliated, calling the detachment “reindeer.” And they even raised their hand against one boy.
“The child was beaten with a slipper and the teacher broke the phone. Called names all the time,” writes another parent.
The parents tried to demand a response from the camp staff, and also wrote to the director of the institution. But so far there has been no response. Therefore, they demand help from local authorities – from the head of the city, Elvira Bugay, and the governor, Natalya Komarova.

When my son was at a different daycare, he cried everyday when I dropped him off for 2 months. My son was okay leaving me on day 2 after he started here. Whenever I moved to San Antonio, I scouted out every daycare nearby and read reviews. This one had the best and there’s definitely a reason why. All the girls, starting from the admin, directors, and teachers are all so welcoming. They are definitely worth the extra few bucks for your children to get the proper care and education. They have apps that allow you to watch the video for the classrooms and send daily notifications in regards to your Childs day (meal times, diaper changes, pictures etc.) I would recommend them to anyone!

It is worth saying that the sons are incredibly similar to the star father and, like him, are in the center of public attention. The middle son Romeo from an early age began to appear on the covers of glossy magazines, but after that he decided to return to football. Senior – Brooklyn is also associated with modeling.
Orlando Bloom
English actor and singer Katy Perry’s husband Orlando Bloom got married for the first time in 2010. Australian model Miranda Kerr, a year after the wedding, gave birth to her beloved son Flynn Christopher Bloom. The couple broke up two years after the birth of their first child. Now the boy is 12 years old, he goes to school. The artist rarely appears with him in public.
Clint Eastwood
American actor, director, composer, winner of four Oscars Clint Eastwood has 8 children from 6 different women. One of the artist’s heirs also became a famous actor. We are talking about Scott Eastwood, whom we know from the films “The Long Road”, “Gran Torino”, “Invictus”. Now the star is 36 years old, he was not married and has no children.
Tom Hardy
English actor, producer and screenwriter Tom Hardy has three children from two marriages. From 2005 to 2009, he was in a relationship with Rachel Speed, with whom he has a son, Louis (b. 2008). Hardy hides the heir from the paparazzi, but still some photos get into the network. Now the boy is 15 years old.
Will Smith
The 54-year-old famous actor is raising three children. His son Willard Christopher Smith III was born in his first marriage to Shiri Fletcher and stayed with his mother. Two years later, the star married again to his longtime girlfriend Jada Pinkett. Smith has two heirs from her – son Jaden Smith (b. July 8, 1998) and daughter Willow Smith (b. October 31, 2000). They decided to repeat the success of their father in the cinema and also act in films.

Marketplace of training courses for children and LMS on Bubble – Development on vc.
ru
Andrey has been working in IT for 10 years, but has never programmed – he was an architect, product, project. He put together a marketplace of educational courses for children and an LMS – Brainfab on Bubble.

What is Brainfab
This is an activity marketplace for kids – all lessons are live via zoom, no pre-recorded videos. In the future, any teacher will be able to add their lesson, but for now they are invited by the platform moderators. The main criteria are experience, willingness to teach online and specifically to children.
The service has lesson cards, registration for classes, user profile, personal account, which displays the schedule and paid classes, the choice of classes according to criteria.
Inside there is an admin panel and a server part – integration with telegram, automatic generation of schedules and links to Zoom conferences. There is a set of pages and repeating elements, there are several standard plugins.
The most difficult page of the project is the lesson card with a purchase. It has many processes configured that are triggered by different events, and each element has many properties. But making this page was easy.
I didn’t start Brainfab from scratch, I bought a template. This helped to better understand the Bubble concept, internal structure and principles, although it had to be heavily customized.
On the limitations and prospects of Bubble
This is a powerful tool that enhances the creation of IT products. And Andrey has not yet understood what the catch is and where the real restrictions begin 🙂 Mostly they complain about the speed, but this is not yet visible in Brainfab – all the more so, the project can be overclocked by connecting resources for an additional fee. So far, I have only encountered one limitation – SEO. But for him there are convenient plugins and optimization options for search engines.
At first I thought that Bubble was a cool thing for those who did not study to be a programmer. But now I think that this is a full-fledged tool that radically changes the economics of projects in IT and removes a number of serious restrictions.
In classical projects, only maintenance of all development environments already drags along a whole zoo of various expensive tools, hosting support processes, specialists and expensive resources. In addition, the risks of dependence on these resources are also growing. And in Bubble, everything is available out of the box: hosting, error monitoring, etc.
Connecting new hard drives to expand resources in classic development can take a week, but in Bubble it is done in a few clicks and the tariff costs $130 per month. Without it, only for hosting and administration, I would give three times more monthly. And if you add GitHub, paid software, etc. – even 4 times more. DevOps and process maintenance in classic frameworks is very expensive.
I’m looking at the Bubble development roadmap and I see that if these things are implemented, the service will become even more awesome. Already, Bubble is not at all like Tilda – this is not the tool in which you can make web pages with your own hands. It can be used to assemble complex IT products – both independently and by attracting professional Bubble developers.
Bubble is like Photoshop for programmers. Now only the third version of Bubble – and can you imagine what it will be like in the seventh version? It will be a fire in terms of maintenance cost: from hosting to autotests and error monitoring.
Why did you choose Bubble
I have been working in IT for a long time and always dreamed of cloud frameworks that would solve the problem with development – they would be centrally serviced, maintained and updated. In my understanding, Bubble is just such a tool: it visualizes the process, does not give access to the lower level of code, but in general behaves like a framework.
I learned about zero-coding tools at a webinar: platforms like Webflow and Adalo seemed inappropriate, and Bubble decided to study deeper. By that time, he already had an idea to assemble an educational platform for children; there was a question of implementation. Bubble studied in a week on English-language video tutorials and articles, almost immediately it became clear that this is a suitable tool for MVP.
In the first days of acquaintance with Bubble, I got so hooked on it that I organized a development studio on it. I think this needs to be done right now. But so far I can’t devote much time to the studio – it’s interesting to delve into the platform myself, I can’t stop.
Plans on Brainfab
I hope to launch the first version soon – we are just starting to test sales, but for now we need to complete the active phase of development and debugging. I hope that I can implement all the functions on Bubble – it seems that this is quite realistic. After testing sales in Russia, I plan to localize the service to enter other countries: the Russian market is needed to test the model and technologies.
Bubble is a platform for creating web applications that do not require programming skills. Bubble is an all-in-one tool. It has a visual editor, databases, tools for business logic and working with different APIs. Allows you to create full-featured chats, forums, systems for collecting and processing applications, task trackers, marketplaces, CRM and dashboards. Urology » Violation of the structure of the pelvic-ureteral segment with its obstruction
A morphological study of the pelvic-ureteral segments removed during surgery in 110 children with stage III hydronephrosis was carried out. The revealed morphological changes in the resected LMS indicate the predominance of sclerotic changes against the background of various types of dysplasia.
Introduction. Among the huge number of congenital diseases of the urinary system in children, a special place is occupied by obstructive uropathy, the prevalence of which in the child population, according to different authors, varies from 1 to 6% [1].
Until now, the pathogenesis of hydronephrosis remains debatable. According to some authors [2–7], obstruction of the ureteropelvic junction (JIMC) and the development of hydronephrosis may be due to a mechanical obstruction in the JIMC (segment narrowing, an accessory vessel, segmental neuromuscular dysplasia of the UMC, high ureteral discharge, a valve in the JIMC area, periureteral embryonic adhesions, etc.), and according to others [8], the formation of hydronephrotic transformation is probably associated with primary evacuation failure of the renal pelvis in the absence of structural changes in the pelvic ureter.
Early diagnosis of hydronephrosis has become possible due to the widespread introduction of antenatal ultrasound diagnostics. Prenatally, dilatation of the upper urinary tract is recorded in 1–5% of the examined fetuses [9, 10]. Ultrasound examination performed in the postnatal period confirms hydronephrosis in 60% of cases of antenatally diagnosed disease [11, 12]. Therefore, approximately 3 out of 1000 newborns need in-depth examination and close monitoring.
In 18–25% of cases of hydronephrosis, urodynamic disturbances are caused by variant renal vessels that cross with the urinary tract in the pelvioureteral region [13–15]. According to foreign authors [16], lower polar accessory vessels as the cause of hydronephrotic transformation are stated with a frequency of 14 to 52%.
Clinical manifestations of urinary tract obstruction are, as a rule, transient abdominal pain and urinary tract infection with the development of chronic ureteritis and pyelonephritis, acquiring a severe course in conditions of impaired urodynamics.
Until recently, the most common methods of treating hydronephrosis are resection of the LMS (Anderson–Hynes operation) for ureteral stenosis and antevasal pyelopyelo- or ureteropyeloanastomosis for crossing vessels. However, minimally invasive technologies, which are more often used in the treatment of adult patients, have become more widespread.
Endosurgical interventions aimed at restoring the patency of the obstruction zone include retrograde balloon dilatation, retrograde balloon dilatation (Acusise endopyelotomy), and retrograde or antegrade endopyelotomy.
Endoscopic surgery is considered as a first-line treatment method, while there are no clear indications for the choice of one technology or another. The effectiveness of endoscopic interventions for stage II hydronephrosis in children ranges from 32 [17] to 76% [18]. At the same time, endotomy of the ureter and pelvis can be accompanied by serious complications, in particular, bleeding requiring blood transfusion, renal artery embolization, or nephrectomy [19, 20].
In many publications, different authors [21] believe that the main cause of urodynamic disorders is the structural changes in the LMS, and not the accessory vessel itself. On the other hand, there are data indicating the low effectiveness of endoscopic technologies in the presence of a vessel crossing the LMS [22].
So far, various methods of plastic techniques are being discussed, which indicates the lack of a unified approach to choosing a method for the surgical correction of hydronephrosis. Many researchers prefer LJ resection with the formation of an anastomosis according to Anderson–Hynes [23] in the Kucera modification [24] (or without). A number of clinics use urinary tract-sparing surgical techniques without UML resection and perform flap plasty according to Foley [25] or Culp-DeWeerd [26].
The percentage of unsatisfactory results after surgical correction of pyeloureteral obstruction remained very high for quite a long time. The risk of stenosis of the newly created anastomosis is especially high in children under the age of one year [27, 28]. In order to prevent the occurrence of anastomositis, foreign and domestic surgeons began to use ultra-thin synthetic suture material 6/0–7/0 with a precision suture technique, using optical magnification for this purpose. This allowed to significantly improve the results of surgical treatment of hydronephrosis [29].
There are few publications in the literature on morphological studies of LMS in hydronephrotic transformation [30–32]. Histological studies of remote LMS conducted by various authors are aimed at clarifying the pathological processes occurring in it [33].
With hydronephrosis in LMS, in most cases, regular pathological changes are observed in the form of diffuse stromal sclerosis with spread to all layers of the wall and disorganization of the muscular apparatus with severe hypoplasia and atrophy of muscle fibers. Changes in myoarchitectonics are characterized by thinning of the muscle layer, separation of muscle bundles by collagen fibers, development of intermuscular and concentric fibrosis, disruption of intermuscular contacts and, as a result, disruption of the biomechanism of muscle contraction.
The literature offers various methods for the treatment of hydronephrosis in children. Most of these methods do not take into account morphological changes in the LMS. The rationale for the choice of surgical treatment, based on morphological changes, was the reason for the implementation of this work.
Materials and methods. 110 patients with stage III unilateral hydronephrosis were examined at the Research Institute of Pediatric Surgery of the SCCH RAMS.
As can be seen from the table. 1, hydronephrosis in boys was 2 times more common than in girls.
Upon admission, all children were examined using radiological methods to clarify the diagnosis and determine the tactics of further treatment (Fig. 1, 2).
After establishing the diagnosis and preoperative preparation, surgical treatment was performed.
All patients underwent pyeloplasty according to the Anderson–Hynes method (Fig. 3).
The cause of hydronephrosis was determined intraoperatively. In 29 cases there was an aberrant vessel, in 59- stenosis of the UMS, in 13 – high discharge of the ureter and in 9 – its achalasia.
The resected LMS was subjected to morphological examination. The preparations were stained according to Van Gieson.
Results and discussion. All identified morphological changes can be divided into 4 groups: sclerosis, fibrous dysplasia, muscular dysplasia and total dysplasia.
Sclerotic phenomena in most cases were combined with signs of chronic inflammation. At the level of the pelvis-ureteral segment, a pronounced sclerosis of the wall was determined with extensive fields of hyalinized scar tissue, in which there were only single atrophied muscle fragments. Due to the severity of secondary sclerosis and atrophy of muscle fibers, it was impossible to judge the initial state of the LMS wall (Fig. 4).
Fibrous dysplasia of the LMS was manifested by hyperplasia of collagen and elastic fibers.
As a result, the submucosal layer of the ureter thickened, pushing the muscular layer towards the adventitia, and as a result, it led to a narrowing of the lumen of the pyeloureteral segment.
In muscular dysplasia, there was a thinning of the segment wall without obvious signs of narrowing of its lumen. Some patients showed severe disorientation of the muscle bundles, others had circular aplasia in a limited area, where the submucosal layer was directly subject to the adventitia. In some cases of muscular dysplasia in a limited area of the LMS, there was a sharp underdevelopment of muscle bundles, which were defined as individual fibers lying among the layers of connective tissue. Above the zone of hypoplasia, muscle fibers were hypertrophied.
In cases of total underdevelopment of all layers of the wall (mucosa, muscle layer and adventitia), there was a narrowing of the outer and inner lumen of the ureter.
As shown in Table. 2 data, in case of UMS stenosis, in half of the cases there were pronounced secondary sclerotic changes, which did not allow assessing the initial state of all layers of the ureteral pelvis. The remaining 50.8% of patients had various forms of dysplasia.
In the presence of an additional lower polar vessel, sclerosis of the LMS wall also prevailed. Various forms of dysplasia occurred only in 4 patients. Consequently, in the pathogenesis of the development of hydronephrotic transformation on the basis of an aberrant vessel, the leading role belongs to the mechanical effect of the vessel on the ureteral pelvis, followed by the development of sclerosis, which leads to impaired urodynamics.
Achalasia of the LMS in 66.7% of cases was morphologically characterized by its dysplasia. It is noteworthy that no fibrous dysplasia was detected in any of the cases. Muscular and total dysplasia occurred with the same frequency (3 cases each).
In 3 patients, pronounced sclerosis did not allow analysis of the layers of the ureter, however, judging by the absence of anatomical narrowing of the LMS, it can be assumed that these patients initially had dysplastic manifestations.
Only 1 of 13 patients with high ureteral outlet had fibrous dysplasia of the pelvic ureter. In other cases, severe sclerosis was determined. Based on this, it can be argued that the high discharge of the ureter is not the cause of hydronephrosis, but its consequence. As the intrarenal hydrostatic pressure increases, the pelvis expands in all directions, pushing the LMS up and more medially, which is regarded as a high ureteral discharge during surgery.
In general, sclerotic changes in the LMS in children with hydronephrosis were detected in 62.7% of cases. Various forms of dysplasia occurred in 37.3% of patients, with muscle dysplasia being the most common (17.3%). Total (10.9%) and fibrous (9.1%) dysplasia were observed somewhat less frequently.
Conclusion. LMS studies have shown that its stenosis in 49.2% of cases is due to sclerotic changes and in 50.8% – various types of dysplasia, among which muscle predominates (23.7%).
An aberrant vessel in 86.2% of cases causes sclerotic changes at the intersection with the ureter, which in turn leads to impaired urodynamics. Therefore, resection of the vessel or antevasal movement of the LMS without its resection may somewhat improve the outflow of urine from the kidney, but will not restore urodynamics to the full extent.
Morphological substrate of ureteral achalasia in 66.7% of patients is muscular or total dysplasia. It is not possible to assess the initial state of 33.3% of children due to severe secondary sclerosis. Since fibrous dysplasia does not occur in this pathology, therefore, in these children, the muscular component of urine transport through the LMS is primarily impaired.
With a high discharge of the ureter, 92.3% of children had sclerotic changes in the LMS, which indicates a secondary displacement of the pelvic region of the ureter. This means that high ureteral discharge should not be considered an independent cause of hydronephrosis.
The results of the morphological study showed that in stage III hydronephrosis, sclerotic changes predominate in the LMS against the background of various forms of dysplasia, which must be taken into account when choosing the type of surgical treatment. In order to adequately restore urodynamics, preference, in our opinion, should be given to resection techniques.

Children’s villages sos fraud or not
CHILDREN’S VILLAGE – SOS is a special, as close as possible to the family, long-term model of raising orphaned children, successfully existing in 132 countries of the world for more than 60 years.
Here they try to return to the child what fate has taken from him, what is necessary for his full physical and spiritual development: mother, brothers and sisters, security, warmth of the hearth and confidence in the future.
Unlike orphanages, in Children’s Villages – SOS never separate siblings, and children who have reached the age of 15-16 are not left to their own devices, but go to a structure unique for Russia – Youth Houses – SOS, where they are helped to get a profession, find a job and solve housing problems.
The activities of the Sos Children’s Village are based on 4 principles formulated by the great Austrian humanist Hermann Gmeiner, the founder of the SOS Children’s Villages:
1. Mother of the Children’s Village – SOS is a vocation, a way of life and a professional job. A woman who has chosen the most feminine profession lives with her children, brings them up, and runs the household, like all other mothers in the world.
2. Every child has brothers and sisters in the SOS Children’s Village. 6-8 children of different ages live and are brought up in SOS-family. Having matured, they leave the village, but do not sever ties with their home.
3. Home is one of the most precious places in the life of each of us. And the child who constantly feels the warmth and care of the family, knows what family traditions and chores are, can truly be happy.
4. Children’s Village-SOS – is 12-14 family houses and at the same time – a bridge to the outside world, ensuring a reliable adaptation of children in society. The village is not isolated from the outside world. Children go to ordinary schools, kindergartens, clubs and sports clubs, music schools, and when they are sick, they visit the local doctor together with the SOS mother. Their communication with peers is not limited. The Children’s Village is open to friends and guests.
Children are admitted to the Children’s Village in cases where it is impossible for them to return to their family of origin. However, in many cases, it is possible to resolve the crisis situation in the family by providing preventive assistance. The support provided to families is an activity in the best interests of the child. Therefore, around SOS villages around the world, which are a kind of core of social projects, there are programs and institutions that support low-income families, single mothers and other socially unprotected categories of citizens.
We should talk about the SOS children’s village in Vologda. This material has been on our shelf for a long time, the first time mothers from it came to us back in July. We visited them in August. But, somehow everything was postponed and postponed. Either I left for the elections in Moscow for two weeks, or we waited for a response from the director of the Village-SOS, who promised us more detailed information on the documents. But unfortunately they didn’t wait. Meanwhile, the situation causes concern, since they came up with a reorganization in the Village. And this news about the dead boy makes me write something. Pay attention to the problem. Since we can’t imagine the director’s opinion right now, it seems that there was a dialogue, there is no result, so I’ll tell you about mine. So I’ll start, and then we’ll see and continue.
So, we have an interesting project in our country to transfer children from orphanages to families.
The project is wonderful in my opinion. So we ourselves went out and looked at how the kids live, in what conditions. Families bring up 3-5 children each, there is a mother, there is also an “aunt”, an assistant to the mother. Children go to kindergarten and school, that is, in general, they live a normal life. Very different from an orphanage.
Separate cottages for one or two families.
General administration building
The territory near the village is common, the houses are not separated from each other
There are places for sports
There are also sponsors
that the principle of purely Russian partnership was used for the first time in the Vologda village. In this connection, the problems of financing are more acute than in Russia as a whole.
But the houses are still comfortable and comfortable
Equipped with everything necessary for both children and parents
9000 3
If something is missing, then sponsors and patrons gradually buy necessary
So what, the reader will ask, do you want? Like live and be happy.
Ah, not everything is calm in the Danish kingdom. Next, I will express my opinion on the current situation. There was an idea to change the format of the village, to transfer all children to foster families. That is, now, “mothers” are essentially educators, and “aunts” are assistants to the educator. At the expense of the Children’s Village, they are paid a salary, and accordingly they have all social guarantees. In principle, this is such a mixture of family and orphanage. But, we all know that the country has adopted the so-called “Dima Yakovlev Law” or “anti-Magnit Law”, whichever is more convenient for you, that’s not the point. The bottom line is that under this law, adoption in foreign families was significantly limited in the country. While promising that we have our own potential. We will not discuss here what the deputies and the President have done. The point now is that they now need to get out of the situation. And what helps to put a good face on a bad game? The correct answer is statistics! After all, if summing up the results of 2013, it turns out that the adoption of children has dropped sharply, then the result of the “anti-Magnit law” will be on the face, and far from being in favor of the current government. What did these people come up with to improve the statistics? In our case, they came up with the idea to transfer the format of the Children’s Village-SOS from mixed to purely foster. And what, just imagine what glorious reports you can write: in 2013, the number of foster families in Russia increased dramatically. Despite the forecasts of the White Ribbons, the situation with the “Dima Yakovlev law” caused a big upsurge among Russians. Of course, I’m exaggerating, but something like this will happen. The authorities will not be able to admit their mistakes, well, the current one is not capable of this.
In general, in the Vologda Children’s Village-SOS, all mothers were offered to “voluntarily” place their children in a foster family. Everything would be fine, in principle, the children are already like family, but that’s just a snag. After all, if earlier there was an employment contract with the Village, and the houses belonging to it were provided by definition. Now mothers were offered to conclude a lease and a service agreement. Just imagine, they tell you that you are obliged to take three to five children to a foster family, while you have no guarantees for living. What if they kick you out of the cottage tomorrow?! Of course, the leadership promises that everything will be fine. But only to my request to show this contract, I have been waiting for an answer for a month and a half. As well as on the service agreement and the conditions for further cooperation between the foster family and the village administration. Although it would seem that it is easier than giving an opportunity to assess the legal side of the issue. After all, this is what scares expectant mothers. Uncertainty! At the same time, the administration takes an interesting position on the issue of refusal of “mothers” to go to a foster family.
So I’m just asking: What if they refuse?
They answer me: Then we will consider the issue of terminating the contract with them and will look for other mothers
Continue: So you will hire other “moms” after breaking the connection with the children that has developed over several years? To hire new ones under the current conditions of the SOS Village and immediately start convincing them that they should take the children into a foster family? And where is the concern for children? Where thoughts about their psychological state?
Answer: You know, a decision has already been made at the very top, we receive instructions from both the Russian SOS Village and the Department of Education.
Yes-ah-ah-ah, I will not reproduce non-printed words that arise after such a dialogue. Here it is immediately clear that the adults simply started their non-childish games around the village and the children, and the latter do not bother them much.
So what to do? And this is the question I would like to ask myself. But I think that the most important thing should be children, their well-being and peace of mind. They have already suffered enough in this life, because they all ended up in the Village from orphanages or dysfunctional families. Let the adults agree among themselves. But I have a simple opinion. Is it necessary to destroy what is already working well? What has already proven its worth? Want to play around with reorganizations and reforms? Play elsewhere. Do not arrange games with children and their fates!
to be continued…
– Do you think they are scammers or not?
Advantages:
There are no upsides to cheating. You need to include your head. Self-post this camp with gifts and things for children.
Disadvantages:
cheating in a brazen way
Children’s Villages I want to start a little with a preface, so that it is clear what it is and where it takes its roots from. The organization of children’s villages was founded immediately after the Second World War in Austria, for those children who were left without parents and lost them during this terrible war. Founder Hermann Gmeiner, he planned 3 children’s villages in Austria and he managed to build them. Today, there are 134 countries where these children’s camps exist, and all over the world there are 550 villages with the status of SOS and more than 1,500 thousand different programs for children who are left in a difficult life situation. It is good that there are such programs and such people who are engaged in this activity, I bow to them for this difficult work.
Russia also has children’s villages, they appeared many times later than in Austria, as far back as 1994. In the city of Moscow there is their office and for all necessary questions and assistance, you can contact them. The first permanent village in Russia appeared in Tomilino in 1996, and today there are only 6 villages in Russia, a drop of the ocean, as they say, compared to the whole world. There are children’s villages in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine.
Yes, in Russia, with children’s villages, a very complex and dubious question arises whether all the money collected from charity goes to accounts for use with children in our country in villages.
This is certainly worth looking into.
I just read this information from a woman who faced a situation in which a volunteer from the Sos Children’s Village came to her and offered to transfer n the amount of money from her salary to the fund of the Sos Children’s Village and also all her employees at work, a woman I doubted very much, since children are still very serious and responsible.
A volunteer from this organization called Children’s Village Foundation insisted and waited for an answer. Of course, the woman doubted whether the swindler was standing with such wishes about making a profit by fraudulent means. Of course, you need to be extremely careful on what basis you can give your honestly earned money and it is not clear to whom to transfer it to the account and where will there be a guarantee that they will get to the village for children, for their food, clothes, shoes, leisure, games, entertainment, education, communal needs and more. So there can be a lot of lines in this organization of Russian villages with children and money is really needed. But there will always be cunning and greedy people who want to use their logic and deceive really honest and benevolent people who live in good conscience and want to always help the children from the camp.
My personal opinion on this whole matter, if you want to help these villages in Russia, then you need to adhere to the following logical rules and common sense, namely: Good luck to everyone and don’t forget to help the children.

Children’s villages – SOS
Keys to new settlers: a house for orphans was commissioned in Tselinny
Orphans will be protected from apartment scammers
SOS Children’s Villages ) is the largest international charitable organization supporting orphans, children left without parental care, and children who are at risk of losing their families. The abbreviation SOS in the name of the organization is an abbreviation of the phrase “social support” (English social support ), which also corresponds to the international SOS distress signal and symbolizes the urgent need of the most vulnerable members of society, children, for help and protection.
SOS children’s villages – an alternative to orphanages
Children’s Village-SOS is a unique, as close as possible to the family, long-term form of education of orphans and children left without parental care. This model has been successfully operating for 60 years in 132 countries around the world.
Unlike most state-run orphanages, which are designed primarily to solve the problem of “maintenance” of orphans, SOS Children’s Villages create conditions for a happy childhood, comfortable growing up and effective social adaptation of children who cannot be returned to their families possible.
Children’s Village-SOS is 11-15 houses united in a mini-community, in each of which 6-8 children of different ages live together with an SOS-mother. As in a normal family, SOS-mother takes care of and educates children and teaches them everything that she knows herself and that they will need in independent adulthood: from cooking and cleaning around the house to budgeting and shopping. It seems self-evident – if you do not know that most of the graduates of state orphanages have no idea about life, the rules of behavior in society and money. In orphanages, they live “with everything ready,” and they enter adult life completely unprepared.
Children from SOS Children’s Villages go to ordinary kindergartens and study at ordinary schools, which contributes to their adaptation to society at an early stage.
Another important difference between SOS Children’s Villages and orphanages is attention to the child’s biological family. First, siblings are never separated, as is often the case when orphans of different ages are placed in orphanages. Secondly, children’s connections with the biological family are maintained: relatives can visit them in the SOS Children’s Village and spend time with them.
History
The first SOS Children’s Village opened in 1949 in the city of Imst (Austria) for children who lost their parents during World War II. The founder of the organization Hermann Gmeiner (1919-1986) said that if he managed to build at least 3 SOS Children’s Villages in Austria, his life would not be lived in vain. Today, in 133 countries on all continents, there are more than 500 SOS Children’s Villages and another 1,500 various programs and projects to help children in difficult life situations, including humanitarian disasters, strengthen families and prevent social orphanhood.
The initiator of the creation of this institution in Russia is Elena Sergeevna Bruskova. In the 1970s, while a correspondent for Komsomolskaya Pravda, she ended up in Austria. It was there that she first visited the so-called children’s village. She was immediately struck by the striking contrast between the happy faces of children who live in a “family” consisting of a mother, several aunts and dozens of brothers and sisters of different ages, and Russian orphans who leave the orphanage with a clear attitude that man is a wolf to man. First, she wrote two books about the pedagogical phenomenon of children’s villages she saw, then she made a series of television programs. Later, the first like-minded person appeared, a simple village teacher [ who? ]
. In the future, all the funds and documents for the construction of the first village were quickly collected. There was no refusal from any official.
Village arrangement
Corridor system turns ordinary orphanages into barracks, for this reason the village consists of several cottages. One family lives in each such house – “mother” and 6-8 orphans. Also, for each of the two houses there are “aunt” – nanny, mother’s assistant.
To become a “mother” of a children’s village, that is, to take responsibility for several children living in one of these institutions, special orientation courses are taken, which last 7 months. First, a woman is offered to work as an aunt. Women are paid for their work in caring for children and have days off. Mom and aunt replace each other on weekends and during holidays.
So that the houses do not look the same and monotonous, the mother of each house receives money in her hands and buys everything for the house herself. This is her house, she equips it.
Some SOS Children’s Villages offer vacations for tourists to raise funds. One such village is located in the picturesque region of Caldonazzo in Northern Italy.
SOS Children’s Village – charitable organization; exists solely at the expense of sponsors, however, it accepts not only monetary donations, but also clothing (children’s furniture, household appliances, etc.).
By country
Russia
In 2011 the Children’s Village-SOS Tomilino will be 15 years old. During this time, 62 pupils came out of here into adulthood. 17 of them already have their own families, many of them are raising their kids. Five of them were educated in higher educational institutions of Moscow, 54 graduates received special vocational education. All of them are happy to return to their family homes with their mother, brothers and sisters. To the question: “What is the Children’s Village-SOS Tomilino for you?”, they answer: “Native home and family. ”
Six “Children’s Villages – SOS” have already been created in Russia: in Tomilino (near Moscow), in Lavrovo (Oryol region) (in the Orlovsky district of the Oryol region), in Pushkin (near St. Petersburg), in Kandalaksha (Murmansk region) , in Pskov. In Vologda, the SOS children’s village opened on May 22, 2012. .
The honorary role of the ambassador of the Pushkin village SOS is performed by Andrey Arshavin. .
The Russian Committee “Children’s Villages – SOS” is a member of the international charitable organization SOS Kinderdorf International, which provides assistance to children in 132 countries around the world.
Belarus
There are two “Children’s Villages – SOS” in Belarus, the first of which was established back in 1995.
On a fundraising trip for the SOS organization, June 30 – July 1, 2010, a Swiss delegation, which included figure skater Stephane Lambiel, visited the children’s village in Bến Tre. The visit of the two-time world champion caused a lot of emotions among the children. He played with them and showed various elements of figure skating.
Kazakhstan
August 19The National Association “SOS Children’s Villages of Kazakhstan” began its work for 94 years on the initiative of the First Lady of Kazakhstan
I want to devote my today’s review to a new type of fraud under the guise of charity – volunteer organizations “Children’s Villages-SOS”.
The scheme of this wiring is quite simple. In the city center, right on the street or in a shopping complex, a pretty volunteer girl approaches you, dressed from head to toe in the uniform of some charity organization. You are told pitifully about another sick child and about 100,000 millions for his treatment in clinics in Israel or Germany.
Everything is as usual, but: these volunteers will not take any money from you. But instead, they will ask you for … all the details of your bank card. Donate if you want, donate if you don’t. But we would like to understand how effectively we work, so we will simply keep track of everyone who has learned about our project and thus decided to support it. And in order not to waste your time, we will not record all the data. We will simply take a picture of your card on our tablet computer. On both sides, along with all codes. Or they offer to make a charitable donation in the form of a small auto payment, which will be deducted from your card every month.
Of course, experienced users of bank cards will never fall for such a stupid scam. But the elderly are very easy prey for such imaginary volunteers.
Even in traffic jams, volunteers love to make a living by knocking on every car and asking for money. In the 90s, this is how ordinary beggars hunted, and now this is such an imaginary charity. They also like to sell some penny trifle (such as a ball or a flag) for fabulous money. who also go to charity. Familiar students moonlighted as volunteer promoters, they were paid hourly. But even they never knew where the money was going. Since the organization does not have any office, they agreed on work by phone or the Internet, met with the head on the street. And they were paid a salary as a percentage of the collected money. And the rest of the money just went to some stranger’s uncle’s pocket. And I strongly doubt that with this money he donated at least a ruble to sick children.
I myself encountered these comrades. We also had people walking around our office center (until the guards kicked them out) and pretending to be employees of the organization “Children’s Villages-SOS” and extorting money. But in fact, these people are not employees of this charitable organization. When I told them that we ourselves would transfer the money to the details of the “Children’s Villages-SOS” indicated on their official website, they told me that there would be a tax and the amount would decrease. So tell us your credit card number or give us some cash. We then called the “Children’s Villages-SOS” they said that they do not have such volunteer pickers. I was just in shock, how can you profit from someone else’s misfortune.
Although I will make a reservation that the described technology is not always a fraud. Perhaps we are talking about the so-called “direct dialogue” – that is, a method of attracting supporters through face-to-face communication. This technology has been used by charities around the world for decades. In our country, it was tested by WWF and SOS Children’s Villages. Convinced of the effectiveness of the method, Children’s Villages launched a full-fledged program, which is already being implemented in eight cities. Their list and details of the organization can be found on their official website. But be careful, watch where you donate your money, so as not to fall for the bait of scammers.

Company vacancies SOS Children’s Village Borovlyany
SOS Children’s Village Borovlyany became the launching pad for the development of SOS Children’s Villages in the Republic of Belarus back in 1995. Thanks to her, this special form of raising orphans, children left without parental care – the Children’s Village – has become famous in our country and has found its real embodiment in three SOS Children’s Villages and several state Children’s Villages in the Republic of Belarus.
The upbringing and development of orphans, children left without parental care, as well as children at risk of losing parental care and care, the prevention of orphanhood, charitable assistance to needy children and their families are priorities in our work.
SOS-Children’s Village Borovlyany realizes its goals through the following directions :
– Long-term care – ensuring high-quality professional care for orphans and children left without parental care, based on family education in SOS -families.
– Strengthening the family and preventing social orphanhood – support for families in difficult life situations in order to preserve and strengthen families in order to prevent the child from losing parental care and care.
– Collaboration with educational institutions – providing additional assistance and support in obtaining a quality education for children at risk of losing parental care or who have already lost it.
Long-term care. Currently in SOS-Children’s Village Borovlyany in 12 SOS-families 65 orphans are brought up , children left without parental care. At the next stage of long-term care, after leaving the care of the Village and under the supervision of teachers, our graduates are planned to live in SOS Youth Homes . The last stage of support, where a young person can receive, upon request, the necessary assistance, is semi-independent living (living outside the Village and Youth Home) .
As part of the direction of strengthening the family and preventing social orphanhood , monthly comprehensive support is provided to children and their families, in a crisis situation, support for children with oncohematological diseases, rehabilitation of children from reception nyh and large families, assistance and support for children under 3 years of age removed from their families and placed in a hospital.
101 Inclusive Get-to-Know-You Questions for Students [+ PDF Download]
The last few years have highlighted the importance of relationship-building and checking in with students on a regular basis.
For learning to happen, students need to see their identities valued. They need to feel safe physically and emotionally—and they need to feel a sense of connection to peers and adults.
You can do that by creating space for students to tell their stories, learning about their lives outside of school, and creating rituals that cultivate belonging and connectedness.
To help you get to know your students, we’ve curated this list of 101 asset-based, inclusive questions. Most are open-ended questions, but you can also adapt them into a multiple-choice format.
If you are a district or school administrator focused on improving relationships and belonging campus-wide, we invite you to share this article with your teachers and staff. This is a great resource to include on district or school resource sites, Tier 1 resource hubs, or in staff newsletters.
If you are a teacher, practitioner, or instructional coach, feel free to borrow these questions to get to know your students in the classroom—virtually or in person! These questions are great for small group brain breaks, icebreaker games, morning meetings or morning circles, and advisory periods. Or, use them as conversation starters in a 1:1 setting.

20+ questions that will help your child to know himself better – Uchi.ru Magazine
We tell you what questions to ask children to help them discover new sides of themselves self-talk skill
List of questions
Many parents believe they know their children well. But what do children know about themselves?
“Help your child become not you, but himself,” wrote the Polish teacher and doctor Janusz Korczak. To become yourself means to understand what / what I am, what are my desires and needs, what are my strengths and what are my advantages.
A child largely builds an image of himself based on how his parents see him. The older he gets, the more important it is to help him recognize himself and develop the skill of talking about himself. In the future, this skill will help you make independent decisions and make informed choices.
It is important that these questions reflect your sincere interest in the child’s personality. There are no “correct answers” here. If the child answers “I don’t know”, this is normal. Perhaps the answer will come later.
What do you like to do and what do you do well?
Children often answer this question easily. Do not rush to criticize if you hear “play Minecraft” and “watch cartoons. ” Ask about what exactly you do well, what exactly you like to do. Every child finds something different in these activities.
What is important to you? What do you value the most?
A child before adolescence is in the value field of the family. Closer to adolescence, there is a critical understanding of family values. The conversation about values is important and interesting.
When you are tired / tired, what helps you to recuperate?
How can you take care of yourself? What do you like to do to please yourself, calm down, relax?
Self-care is now a new skill for many of us to maintain our mental and emotional health. You can learn it with your kids. Do not tolerate fatigue, but notice it and give yourself a rest. Brushing your teeth and taking a shower, keeping your room clean, cooking your favorite meals, going to bed on time, hugging your favorite people, going for walks, exercising – all this is self-care.
What is your ideal day? When you get up, when you go to bed, who do you spend it with? What are you doing? What are you eating? Who are you communicating with? What kind of lifestyle would you like/want in the future?
Our life is not always like what we once dreamed of. However, visualizing the future helps to rethink the routine. Something is available today, some desires are realizable if you make a plan. Dreams are an excellent generator of creative and active energy.

What makes you happy/happy? What are you usually angry about? When do you feel sad? What makes you scared?
Talking about feelings and emotions is not always easy. If it is difficult for a child to talk about it, you can take any of these questions and offer to draw, sculpt from plasticine, play with your favorite toys on this topic. The better a person distinguishes his feelings, the easier it will be for him to master self-regulation.
What kind of person are you? Do you trust yourself, your decisions? What helps you to believe in yourself?
Self-confidence is closely related to self-esteem. Rejoice if your child is self-confident, evaluates himself well, understands what forms his self-confidence. If it seems to you that self-esteem is too high or too low, then this is an occasion to reconsider the environment in which the child grows up.
What do you want to learn? What do you want to be even better at?
These questions help to focus on what the child wants to develop himself. His personal educational plans may not include school subjects. The task of the conversation is not to motivate to study at school, but to form the skill of self-education.
It will be easier if you try to answer these questions yourself first and normalize the conversation about these topics within the family. It is not necessary to arrange a specific time and place for such conversations: they can happen when discussing books and films, during walks and family trips, at dinner and on the way to school. Any situation can be an occasion to talk with the child about himself, if you feel that this is now appropriate and you have the strength to be present in the conversation without criticism and condemnation.
100 questions that will help you learn a lot more about a person
How can you get to know a person better in a minimum amount of time? Just start asking him the right questions! And believe me, even those whom you have known for a very long time will open such horizons before you that you will understand that, in fact, you didn’t know anything about this person …
You should not take your friends for granted, you should not ignore them life experience. They can teach you good things and add to your life experience, which means they can make you a better person.
After all, as often happens… we know people for many years, but never bothered to ask about their lives, about the most basic things. For example, what is their favorite color? What is their favorite pizza topping? What family tradition do they keep? Or the names of their parents?..
If you suddenly realized that you really still do not know what your friends, acquaintances or even closer people like the most, it’s time to solve this problem! And while it can be a little embarrassing to ask such personal and sometimes even stupid questions to people you know for a long time, it’s better to fill this void with information. It will be useful to you, and those to whom you are not indifferent are pleased that they are interested.
Revision 1GAI.ru has put together an extended list of interesting questions to ask: you’ll be surprised at the amount of detail you’ll learn! And perhaps the best thing about these questions is that they can instantly strike up a conversation, casual and easy, and this is important in those cases when you first meet someone new …

ADOPTION OF CHILDREN. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE? – Our Texas – Russian Newspaper in Houston, Dallas, San-Antonio, Austin, Texas
I met Phillip Irwin when he was one of the first to come to the Russian Cultural Center to study Russian. People decide to learn Russian for very different reasons: some want to find a Russian bride, some need to speak Russian on business… Phillip decided that he needed to know the language because he and his wife adopted two girls from Russia. Moreover, the children were very small and, of course, did not remember anything: Kira – 7 months, and the eldest Masha – 2 years. Often, not all Russian-speaking parents care about the preservation of Russian culture and language in their children. Pam and Phillip Irwin have a completely different attitude to the Russian roots of their children.
The Irwins live in Katy, and their Russian neighbors were very surprised to learn that Phillip and Pam, who at the time already had one adopted girl from Houston, were going to Russia to adopt another child. “Why do you need this,” the neighbors did not understand, “after all, these are problem children. It’s hard to make good people out of them.” As Phillip points out, the same stereotype is common in Russia. But he and his wife thought differently: “God wants us to do this.”
They first came to Russia in 2004. It was January, and from warm Houston, Pam and Phillip ended up in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region. We lived for a week in a hotel, came to the orphanage, met with the staff, with the chosen baby, processed the documents. The adoption process is very lengthy, requiring a huge amount of paperwork and a lot of money. The adoption of each child costs about 50 thousand dollars. Since this is done through an American adoption agency, it provides everything you need: housing, transportation, and an interpreter. After arriving and getting to know the child, you decide if it is right for you, then you are assigned a date for a hearing in court. You leave and return to this day, so that later, if the decision is positive, you can go home with your adopted child. The whole procedure takes quite a lot of time, as all your documents will be checked, including health status, criminal history, financial status and much more. “The social worker came to our house and talked to our friends and neighbors,” says Phillip. “The fire inspector checked the security of our house, but this is correct, it is very important to know which family a small person falls into.”
Phillip notes that the orphanage in Kemerovo was very clean, the staff is friendly and they try very hard to do their best for the little ones. But when one teacher has 14 children, she physically cannot pay enough attention to them. Nobody rocks the babies, does not hold them in their arms, which is so important in infancy. Due to the lack of heat, these babies develop more slowly.
The second girl was adopted in the Moscow orphanage #10. She was very thin – skin and bones. The child is used to rocking himself, covering his face with his hands and gently rocking. The girl continued to fall asleep like this for a long time, having arrived in Houston. I had to come to Moscow three times, there were some problems with the visa. “Of course, this entailed additional expenses, but the whole family spent 3 weeks in Moscow, and even invited 16-year-old Lyudmila Panushkina, a girl from the Kemerovo orphanage # 95, who became friends on the first visit,” Phillip recalls. – How happy she was: we showed everything that could be shown in Moscow. After all, she had never been there and saw little in her life. It is a tragedy when children grow up in an orphanage, as they are completely unprepared for an independent life. 90% of them will fall into the criminal world, use drugs. These children need families! ”(They have been corresponding with 20-year-old Lyudmila ever since, her fate is not indifferent to Irvin).
When the girls arrived in Houston, they were immediately taken to the doctors at the Texas Children’s Hospital. The Irvines were lucky, both were practically healthy, only one had a rash all over her body, and she remained a very shy child for a long time.
Now three wonderful daughters are growing up in the family: Kayla is 13 years old, Kira from Novokuznetsk – 9 and Kenne (Masha) from Moscow – 7. Pam’s mother is a housewife. She still goes to special courses to this day, where they teach how to deal with children who were deprived of maternal attention in the first years and months of their lives. In America, as in many Western countries, they abandoned orphanages – children are sent to other families for education.
Until recently, many couples chose Russia as a country for adoption, because the process was well organized there. For example, in Vietnam, Romania was either allowed to take children, or forbidden. In Russia, everything was stable.
Now, according to Phillip, the situation with orphanage children in Russia is terribly bleak. He is very fond of the Russian people, but he considers what the Russian government is doing to be fundamentally wrong. “Political and economic issues should not be confused with social ones. You can’t sacrifice the fate of children,” Phillip Irwin is sure.
He does not even think of interfering in the internal affairs of Russia, as some Russians now, unfortunately, believe. He just does what he can to keep the kids happy. His girls are very active in church, they do gymnastics, dance, and this year they started playing softball. We look at family photos where everyone smiles happily. On several of them, there are not three girls, but four. “Last year, a girl from a small Bashkir town, Alina Gabdrakhmanova, came to us on a student exchange program,” Phillip explains. “She was so happy when the whole family went to Disney World for spring break!”
Such a family is not unique. The Irwins maintain relationships with other Houston parents who have adopted children from Russia. There are many such families all over America. Since 1990, about 60,000 Russian children have been adopted in the United States. But in the Irwin family, it is precisely the respect that they instill in their children for Russia that is striking. It may be hard for the reader to believe, but Pam and Irvine hired a special agent to track down the girls’ biological mothers, which also cost a lot of money. They contacted these women and recorded their video messages for their daughters. Each had their own reasons for sending their children to orphanages, the Irwins do not condemn them in any way and want their daughters to understand this as well.
It is not clear how some Russians are inclined to see some kind of trick or selfish interests in such pure human impulses?
CHILDREN AND STRESS – Our Texas – Russian Newspaper in Houston, Dallas, San-Antonio, Austin, Texas
Professional psychologist’s advice
We all know about stress. And we talk about stress much more than we would like. But what to do, we live in a world where stress has become an integral part of life. What is stress?
When something happens around us, especially something that is unusual and unfamiliar to us, tension arises in our body. This is normal and good in its own way – all our organs are ready and waiting for our brain to answer the questions: Is it dangerous? Should I fight or escape? Or just wait? And our body continues to be in tension – adrenaline, norepinephrine and cortisol are released into the blood, the heart rate rises, muscles tighten, all feelings become aggravated – we are ready. Why exactly – it will decide the brain. Maybe you need to resist, maybe you need to run, or maybe you just need to relax – it was a false alarm.
Once upon a time at the institute, I observed an experiment in the physiology laboratory. There were rats in the cages. Fed, groomed. A cat walked around the lab. Also fed and groomed. He could not get to the rats, and apparently did not want to. But the caged rats saw him all the time. And after a while, these fed and well-groomed rats began to die and an excess of corticosterone (a hormone similar to cortisol in humans) was found in their blood. This interesting but brutal experiment was carried out as part of research into the effects of prolonged stress on organisms.
Hans Selye, a Canadian physician and scientist, dealt with stress in the middle of the last century. He defined stress as a general adaptation syndrome of the body, consisting of three stages.
The first reaction of the body is a surge of anxiety, a readiness to run or fight. But what happens if the brain does not make any decision, we do not run and do not fight, and the tension builds up?
Then comes the second stage of the reaction to stress – resistance. That is, our body is trying to adapt to an external situation that causes tension in the body. And also regulate hormone levels, heartbeat, relax muscles, etc. Like how we can function in this state, like how we can concentrate on finishing a project, kind of like we can not flinch at the mention of the name of the boss, whose presence causes the heart to beat, involuntary contraction fists and gnashing of teeth. It seems to be…
But for some reason, our stomach starts to ache (an old gastritis?), our back hurts (we sit a lot?), our hearts prick (pressure?)… We catch colds easily, concentrate with difficulty, forget a lot, sleep poorly, gain weight. We are not happy with children, irritate spouses, and we are nervous with or without reason. This means that the third stage of the stress response has begun – exhaustion.
We often forget that children live in the same world as we do, that children have the same reactions to stress as adults, and that children can be much more sensitive to environmental factors than adults, and that there are many more factors for children than for adults.
One of the biggest stressors for children is stressed parents. Children feel very well when their parents feel bad, and for them this parental state becomes a constant source of stress.
What else is a stress factor for children? Morning rush. Yes, don’t be surprised. “Hurry!”, “What, you haven’t dressed yet ?!”, “Yes, hurry up, you bastard!” , “Well, how long can you wait ?!” And this is repeated day after day, and day after day the child experiences stress.
What about parental disappointment when a child doesn’t win a tournament or takes first place in a drawing competition? (“We spent so much money on this art school, and you?”)
there would be no time for stupidity. Overload for the child, as well as for the parents, is stressful. What about changing schools? What about peer pressure? What about parent fights? And this is just a small part of what can cause prolonged stress in children. And prolonged stress is both psychological and physiological disorders.
But even if you become ideal parents, you cannot remove all the stressors from children. You will not be able to protect the child from his friend, who suddenly for some reason did not want to be friends with your son anymore, from the boy with whom your daughter is in love and who does not pay attention to her, from the injustice of the teacher who punished the innocent, from the news on TV after which the child cries and asks “Well, why is that?”
In other words, you cannot shield your child from a life that is often cruel and unfair. But you can help him and teach him how to deal with stress. It is very important to teach the child to manage their actions in stressful conditions – to regulate emotions, attention and behavior. It is necessary to help the child find the source of stress, ask him to tell how he feels and ask what he can do in this situation.
Loss of control of a situation often causes loss of control of feelings. And vice versa. Guide your child to problem solving. Together with him, plan actions, help him determine what consequences may be after certain actions. Guide him, but do not decide for him. Teach your child to regulate emotions – slow breathing (inhale for four counts, exhale for four counts) or meditation.
And please don’t deny his feelings. Do not say “Forget it!”, “It’s okay”, “It will pass”, “You will find other friends / girlfriends”. By doing this, you belittle the feelings of the child, as if you were telling him, “And you are nothing, and your feelings are not important to me.
Sports participation is a leading cause of injury in young people. Sports injuries can have both short- and long-term consequences. An injury can immediately sideline a player, putting both the fun of the sport and the health benefits of exercise on hold. An injury that keeps a child out of the game over the long term can increase the chances of gaining weight, becoming less fit in general and even developing arthritis in later years. It may not always be possible to avoid injury when playing sports, especially physical contact sports, but athletes can help protect themselves by preparing before and after a game or practice session by warming up muscles and then stretching.
Benefits of Warming Up and Stretching For Young Athletes
Whether the activity is skiing, running or playing a group sport like basketball or football, stretching keeps the young athlete’s body flexible. Flexibility can cut down on injuries, especially at the knee and ankle. Stretching again after activity should also be part of an injury prevention plan. Before any kind of physical activity, including stretching, the body needs to be warmed up with some light exercise. Walking, running in place or doing jumping jacks for a few minutes will warm up muscles.
Warm Up Stretches Before Workout or Playing Sports
Once muscles are warm, young athletes are ready for these stretches, each of which should be repeated three to six times:
Forward lunge. Kneel on one knee. Place the other leg forward at a right angle (knee right over ankle). Lean forward to feel the stretch in the front of the thigh. Hold for 20 seconds. Repeat several times. Switch legs.
Side lunge. Stand with feet far apart. Bend one leg and lean toward that knee. Hold for 20 seconds. Repeat several times, then bend and lean toward the opposite leg.
Standing quad (thigh) stretch. Use a wall or chair for support. The child should raise one foot behind him/her. Using the hand on the same side of the body, he/she should pull the foot up toward the buttocks, stretching the thigh. Keep the knees close. Hold for 20 seconds, then release. Repeat several times. Switch legs.
Seat straddle lotus. Have the child sit down with the soles of the feet together in front of him/her, pressing knees to the floor. Place the forearms on the inside of the knees and push down as the child leans toward the ground. Lean forward from the hips. Hold for 20 seconds. Repeat several times.
Side seat straddle. Sit on the floor, legs spread apart. With both hands, hold onto the shin of one leg. Lean forward, chin to knee. Hold for 20 seconds. Repeat. Switch legs.
Seat stretch. Sit with legs straight out in front. Holding shins or ankles, lean forward from the hips. Bring the chin toward the knees. Hold for 20 seconds. Repeat several times.
Knees to chest. Lying on the floor, bend knees and bring them to the chest. Rock gently. Hold for 20 seconds. Repeat several times.
After every workout, repeat these same stretches to help the body cool down and increase flexibility while muscles are still warm.
How Often should young athletes stretch?
Before starting a game, sport or practice, all athletes should warm up the muscles with five to 10 minutes of a light version of exercise. For example, to warm up for basketball, do some relaxed shooting; for jogging, walk. A warm-up will increase blood flow to the muscles and tendons, which makes them less likely to be injured.
After exercise, cool down for 10 minutes by decreasing the intensity of the activity. Cooling down helps the muscles eliminate waste products and decreases soreness. Gently stretch the muscles used in the activity to help relax them.
How Many Times a Week Should You Stretch?
Young athletes should stretch at least three times a week, but only after they have warmed up or after a workout, when muscles are loose and relaxed. Stretching before warming up does not reduce the risk for injury during a sport, and fitness experts such as the American College of Sports Medicine, no longer recommend it.
How Long to Hold a Stretch: Increases Flexibility
When stretching, hold each stretch (no bouncing or jerking) for 20 seconds. Don’t stretch to the point of pain.
Repeat stretches two to three times for each muscle group.
There’s no prize for finishing a stretching routine first, so encourage kids to take it slow to get all the benefit from the stretch.

Stretching for children – stretching lessons for children with twine
Stretching for children
Stretching is necessary not only for those children who are professionally involved in dancing, gymnastics or other sports. Even for those children who do not want to take places on pedestals, stretching will bring a lot of benefits:
will help to acquire a beautiful correct posture;
will help develop coordination of movements;
will teach you to control your body;
will strengthen muscles and ligaments;
forms a beautiful slender figure.

Sport is the key to health and longevity. It is desirable to cultivate the habit of physical education from childhood. And one of the most important, as well as controversial points in sports exercises is stretching. In this article, you will learn the answers to the following questions: Is stretching dangerous for children? How to choose the right stretching exercises? How can gymnastic exercises help us?
Is stretching bad for kids?
Asking this question, it is worth considering: what in our life is not harmful? In fact, almost everything is useful, but only with adequate, moderate consumption. It’s the same with stretching – this exercise brings a lot of benefits, but only if performed correctly in accordance with medical indications. General developmental flexibility exercises as exercise therapy are prescribed by doctors to children from infancy. Therapeutic exercise involves an individually selected set of exercises that allows you to prevent the development of degenerative-dystrophic processes in the spine or stop the progression of existing ones. Physical therapy classes are simple, accessible to people of any age, do not require a lot of time and can usually be performed at home. For example, this is back riding on a fitball, stretching your arms back; hanging on straight arms, holding the hands of a doctor / parent; lying on your back bend back with an emphasis on straight arms.
As the child grows older, the exercises gradually become more difficult. It is better to focus on the development of flexibility at the age of 6-7 years. At this time, the muscular-ligamentous apparatus is already ready for simple exercises.
Children’s stretching allows you to optimize and normalize the tone of various muscle groups. It relieves tonic tension, which contributes to the activation of the corresponding structures of the brain. Therefore, within reasonable limits, stretching is very useful for children.
What kind of stretching is beneficial?
Anastasia Dolzhenkova, coach of the Lokomotiv European Gymnastics Center, explained how to properly approach the issue of stretching for children:
Stretching exercises for children should be performed based on the natural process of movement.
The child should feel a soft stretch in the muscles, not accompanied by pain.
You need to engage in a spacious, warm room that is well ventilated.
Dress your child in comfortable clothes and socks.
Let your child drink whenever he wants to prevent dehydration.
At the initial stage, do stretching exercises with your child every other day so that the body rests, and then daily.
Conduct classes (on average) for half an hour.
Teach your child to breathe correctly – evenly, deeply.
In addition, stretching from an early age helps to optimize the child’s muscle tone and helps to eliminate various muscle dystonias and clamps. It can increase the physical activity of the child, improve the elasticity of muscles and ligaments, and strengthen the muscles and articular ligaments. According to a number of medical indications, stretching is very useful for the formation of a correct posture and gait, it increases the range of motion, thereby reducing the risk of injury. In addition, gymnastics removes stiffness in the body, relieves physical and mental overwork, which is especially characteristic of school-age children.
On their own, especially at the beginning of classes, children cannot stretch correctly. A specialist should help them with this. And it is very important that he, while helping the child, act slowly and smoothly, avoiding jerks.

What stretching methods are harmful?
Unfortunately, on the issue of children’s stretching, everything is not always clear, since sometimes some exercises are not at all beneficial. But this can happen in the case of special, medical contraindications or a completely illiterate approach and the wrong way of stretching. Below is a list of dangerous gymnastic exercises that you should not do if you want to do healthy stretching.
Knee extension with hamstring stretch
The muscles of the back of the thigh cross two joints – the hip and knee. Very often, people focus on stretching the muscles around the knee, arching it backwards and ignoring the hip joint. These are the same people who can touch the floor with their hands straight, but have a terrible technique of tilting with weight. It is always worth bending over by stretching the muscles that cross the hip joint. Overextension of the knees under load over time can lead to ligament damage or arthrosis.
90 degree glute stretch
The problem is that instead of external rotation of the femur, many externally rotate the lower leg, which puts a load on the ligamentous apparatus of the knee. This stretch should be used in a non-aggressive way, without extreme outward rotation of the lower leg and pressure on the knee. You need to make sure that the abduction of the knee to the side is due to the femur, and not the lower leg.
Lumbar stretch
The lumbar spine requires stability. Its neighbors should be mobile – the thoracic spine and pelvis. The less mobile the lower back, the better. Work on stretching the muscles of the hip joint and on improving the mobility of the thoracic spine. Dangerous exercises include hanging on the horizontal bar (including for the shoulder joints).
Stretching Through Pain
Stretching itself brings discomfort, but they should subside after 20-30 seconds. No one should train through enduring pain. Of course, there are times when physiotherapists are forced to work the joint after surgery through uncomfortable ranges of motion, but this should only be done by professionals. If you experience sprain pain, see your doctor.
Stretch Bone Blocks
There are many reasons that can limit the range of motion in a joint. Sometimes the problem is in the bones, when they no longer fit together so that the movement in the joint is full and complete – this is called congruence. Bone “calls” and growths can be, for example, in the shoulder joints or the ankle in front. Sometimes the reason is in injuries, in the rigidity of the joint capsule. Before pulling, it is better to find out the reason.
Rock and bounce while stretched
When a tissue stretches unusually, receptors on it read the information and send a signal to the spinal cord that there is a threat of rupture. It responds with a reflex contraction of the muscle to stop the dangerous stretch. This is called the myostatic reflex.
In an untrained person, it turns on quickly and plays a protective role, preventing injuries. It looks like a complete lack of flexibility, when the amplitude is very small, and you can’t move on.
However, if you stretch regularly, over time the nervous system becomes more and more stable and the reflex brakes move further. So the person becomes more and more flexible.
But the spring, swinging with a rebound during stretching, using inertia to go deeper or reach further, can be injured – the myostatic reflex will not work in time. Therefore, move slowly, smoothly and only forward.
It is believed that in order to effectively perform stretching exercises, it is necessary to overcome pain. Children are absolutely not ready for this, so the coach is forced to use force. As a result, many novice athletes refuse to attend training.
Doctors say that exhausting and too intense gymnastics have a negative impact on the health of athletes. Almost every adult gymnast suffers from various diseases of the musculoskeletal system, and all this is the result of systematic stretching. The fact is that with frequent incorrect stretching, the ligamentous apparatus of the joints is stretched, which further leads to their looseness, creates prerequisites for the development of deforming osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis.

What exercises are suitable for children’s stretching?
Firstly, classes are recommended to be carried out at a slow pace, with calm music. The average duration is 30–45 minutes.
In the development of flexibility, as in any other business, the main thing is not to overdo it. Forcing the tensile force and excessive loads can lead to microtrauma, as well as discourage interest in classes.
Rich Lyudmila Mikhailovna, a physiotherapist and a specialist in diseases of the musculoskeletal system, spoke about the benefits of exercise for developing flexibility in children. Below is a list of gymnastic exercises that contribute to the healthy development of the child:
Butterfly. Starting position: sitting, legs bent at the knees, feet connected together and pulled towards you. Slowly spread your knees, trying to lower and touch them to the floor. Then lean forward and in the same position reach for your hands, trying to touch your legs with your stomach.
“Pulls”. Starting position: lying on your back. Stretch your arms and legs in different directions, while tensing your abdominal muscles.
“Castle”. Starting position: standing, arms along the body. Raise your right hand up, bend at the elbow joint and place your palm behind your back on the shoulder blade. With your left hand from below, stretch to your right, trying to connect your hands behind your back in a lock. Repeat the same with the other hand.
Forward bends. Starting position: standing, legs apart. Stretch your arms down, trying to reach the floor, while keeping your knees straight. It is good if during the performance of all the exercises the child can not hold his breath. Repeat 4-6 times, lingering at the bottom for 3-5 seconds. Gradually teach the child to put his feet closer to each other to increase the amplitude.
Summarizing…
Today’s children, unfortunately, lead a sedentary lifestyle. Even elementary school students spend 5-6 hours at their desks, and then, when they come home, they again sit at the table for several hours doing their homework. And after that, few of them rush to the street to play active games with their peers. As a result, the child is overworked both physically and mentally. And in the evening, all this turns into a tantrum, since the children still cannot control themselves in full.
Stretching just teaches the child not only to feel his tension, but also to relieve it in a timely manner. This will allow him to make the best use of his forces.
The postulate that pain is a sign of quality in sports has long been refuted. Always listen to your body and trust its feelings, because this is the key to successful training and long-awaited sports achievements.
