Sending our boys to KIA was by far the best decision we’ve ever made. For us it all starts with the staff. They have absolutely amazing staff. When you drop them off in the morning we get updates throughout the day—which I love. Anytime you come here everyone is smiling and happy. Our boys love to stay. They don’t even want to come home in the afternoons and they actually tell us to NOT pick them up early, so they can stay for the after school activities. I highly recommend KIA as they have outstanding staff, engaging activities, and my kids are learning so much all thanks to them!

I’m a mom of two boys and my oldest has gone to daycare for most of his first two years of life. They do not provide lunch, so it’s up to me to send something healthy that will fill him up and keep him satisfied throughout the day.
He hasn’t quite mastered silverware yet and also only has 7 teeth so I have to be creative with what I send him for lunch. They also won’t heat his lunch up, so all of these meal ideas can be eaten cold. I’m sharing all of our daycare lunch ideas for inspiration to other mamas who need ideas!

When is a good time to pack lunch for daycare?
It can be a good ideas to pack your toddler’s daycare lunch the night before so you don’t have to stress or rush in the mornings. If your toddler still needs their food cut up, it can take some time (10-15 minutes in my experience) to get their lunch packed.
There should be no problem with the freshness of their food if you pack their lunch the night before and stick it in the fridge. Some foods like apples or avocado might turn brown, so if your toddler is picky it’s a good idea to save these until the morning.
If you or your spouse also need their lunch packed, save time by packing all of the lunches together. Your toddler can eat a lot of the same foods you do, like a chopped up sandwich, fruits and veggies.
What is the best toddler lunch box?
Our favorite toddler lunch box is the PackIt Freezable Lunchbox.
I love that its an all-in-one lunchbox and has freezer packs built in to the sides of the lunchbox. You don’t have to worry about your toddler losing ice packs or leaving them at school. Its one of my favorite purchases for him so far and would be great for preschoolers or school-aged children too.
I normally get this out of the freezer around 7:30 am before we leave for school and when I pick him up at 4:30 pm its still cold. I highly recommend this lunch box!

Here are some of our favorite feeding supplies for daycare:

Toddler Daycare Lunch Food Ideas
Dont send your toddler something new for lunch at daycare; they might not eat it or they might have trouble eating it if its too hard or cut too large. I recommend sending your toddler foods that you know they enjoy and test our new foods at home.
Leftovers from the night before are a great option for daycare since you know your toddler already tried the food and liked it.

When I use Tuition Express, how secure is my account information?
Very secure – more secure than when you write checks. Tuition Express is a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 Service Provider. Your information could not be more secure.
How are payments made?
Tuition Express processes payments four ways – customer initiated Online Payments, POS/Card Swipe, Recurring Credit Card and ACH transactions.
How will I know when a payment was made?
If you initiate an Online or POS Payment, you’ll know firsthand. If your provider processes a Recurring Credit Card or ACH Payment, you can receive free emailed receipts.
What if my provider makes a mistake?
Report the error to your childcare provider immediately. It was most likely an honest mistake. Your provider will then adjust your account accordingly.
What if my provider and I disagree about a payment?
If you feel that the payment should not have been made, you have the right to dispute the charge. Contact your bank or credit card company.
Does my provider have access to my account?
No. No one has access to your account. By using Tuition Express, you’re simply giving your credit card company or bank permission to release what you owe your provider when it is due and payable.
Why should I use Tuition Express?
It’s safe, convenient and easy. And it makes processing tuition and fee payments easier for your provider giving their staff even more time to care, nurture and teach your child.

What if I forgot my username or password?
Due to security reasons, neither the childcare provider nor Tuition Express has access to your existing username and password. If you can’t remember either your username or your password, you will have to re-register. See the Forgot your Password page for more help.
I am using the right username and password, but I can’t login.
Why not?
Your username and password are not case sensitive. Make sure you are typing them in properly. Also, make sure that there are no spaces between the characters as they are not allowed.
What does it mean when I am told that my username or password doesn’t meet the complexity requirements?
Check the length of your username (must be 3-16 characters long) and make sure there are no spaces between the characters. Verify that the password is a minimum of 6 characters long and includes at least one number. The password can’t have spaces between characters either.
Why does it tell me that my username is not available when registering?
Create a different username and complete the registration process unless you have forgot your username or password, then you need to refer to the question above about that.
How come I never received my verification email to validate my email address?
Make sure you’re using a valid email address and that it is typed in correctly. Make sure your email software isn’t filtering the Tuition Express email (check your Bulk, Junk, or Trash folders). If you see it in one of those folders, you must remove the filter/add an exception to the filter to allow it to do directly to your Inbox (see your email software FAQ’s to adjust it’s mail/spam filtering). If you are using a work email address, your company’s technology department may be filtering the email. Discuss it further with your IT department or change your email address to a private email address.
Why am I not receiving my receipts via email after validating my email address?
Sign in to your tuitionexpress. com account, in the “Profile” screen you must check the box “Receive Notification”. Confirm that the email address is still a valid email address.
How do I get the necessary information on my receipt to get reimbursed by my Flexible Spending Account?
This information is entered by your childcare provider. Request your provider to setup their tuitionexpress.com “Message Center” to include the center’s name, address, and tax ID number.
How can I change the bank account information that is drafted for my payment?
For payments that are initiated by your provider you must complete a new Parent Authorization form, attach a voided check from the new account (if applicable) and submit it to your provider. Your provider will then make the changes and notify Tuition Express. For online payments you can use any valid credit card at any time.
How do I change the email address that my receipts go to?
Log in to your tuitionexpress.com account and click on “Profile”, then click the “Change” button. Enter the new email address and click “Update”. You will have to click on the “Re-verify” button to receive the verification email. Click on the link in the verification email to complete the change.
How to pay for tuition through Sberbank Online

Because of our 24hr services, this allows for an extensive before and after school program. This service is catered to students 6-12yrs of age. Before Care: This program allows parents to leave the older siblings at our facility in the mornings where we provide breakfast before transportation arrives to take them to their school. After Care: Arriving back to the center following school, the students are fed a full meal and are engaged with our staff to complete homework or assist as teacher aids with the students of the facility.

Changing conditions in orphanages
In 2015, the Happy Children Foundation held a roundtable at the children’s rights ombudsman of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, dedicated to the reorganization of children’s homes in the region (in accordance with Decree No. 481, which instructs institutions for orphans to create conditions close to family ) which was attended by experts from the Department of Mental Health and Early Development of St. Petersburg State University and representatives of orphanages, as well as training seminars for employees of orphanages (Krasnoyarsk and Sosnovoborsk, who already have experience of getting to know and implementing the family model of education in homes child).
The round table was held thanks to the support of the Charities Aid Foundation in Russia.
Roundtable targets:
– discussion of the current situation in the children’s homes of the region from different perspectives, – discussion of the urgent needs of managers and employees, in particular, those related to the implementation of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 481, – development of a strategy for joint actions to develop the system of orphanages in accordance with the Government Decree RF No. 481.
In the first part of the round table, reports were made by the Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child in the Krasnoyarsk Territory I.Yu. Miroshnikova , Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Department of Mental Health and Early Support for Children and Parents, St. Petersburg State University O.I. Palmonova , head of the department of institutions for orphans and children left without parental care, Ministry of Education and Science of the Krasnoyarsk Territory I.A. Gushchina , Head of the Department for Organization of Pediatric and Obstetric and Gynecological Care of the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory G.Z. Slepneva , senior educator of the Usolsk Regional Specialized Orphanage S.G. Kostyukova , HR Director of the group of companies “Commander” P. I. Vyazhevich, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Developmental Psychology and Counseling, Siberian Federal University O.S. Ostroverkh, director of the interregional public organization “Krasnoyarsk Center for Curative Pedagogics” O.M. Matveev.
The second part of the round table was devoted to the exchange of opinions and proposals of representatives of orphanages in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Difficulties experienced by the staff and administration of orphanages were noted.
Questions were raised regarding the creation of a family model of upbringing in orphanages: – how to develop a regulatory framework for an orphanage, – how and by what quality indicators to check the results of training of employees of orphanages in the field of accompanying children brought up in institutions, their psychological health and development indicators of quality, — how to motivate and achieve the use in the work of employees of the competencies and skills mastered by them during training aimed at caring for a child, – how to reduce the negative influence of adults on a child.
Representatives of orphanages emphasized the need to increase the competence of staff, in particular, in organizing family-like interaction with children.
Roundtable participants:
1. Noted the need to develop and implement a training project for employees of orphanages in the Krasnoyarsk Territory using the resources of NGOs, higher educational institutions and businesses that meets the following criteria: training should be planned and systematic, should be implemented in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 24 2014 No. 481, while flexibly considering the individual characteristics of each orphanage, the organization of supervision is obligatory. It is necessary to develop a model of interdepartmental interaction for training the staff of orphanages.
2. Noted the need to develop a model of interaction / succession of early intervention services and orphanages in work with families taking children for adoption and guardianship.
