languages, timetable and conditions of stay

Modern pre-school education in Cyprus becomes compulsory from four years of eight months. But many parents start looking for a kindergarten much earlier. Officially, maternity leave in Cyprus is 18 weeks (about four months), so working mothers pick up a nursery in advance.

Today the country has a large selection of public and private institutions for preschoolers. Private kindergartens are popular among Cypriot citizens and non-residents temporarily residing on the island. In institutions, children are accepted from the age of two, and sometimes even younger.

Pre-school system in Cyprus

Kindergartens in Cyprus strive to create conditions that maximize the feeling of being in the family. Communication between children and the teacher is based on the principles of respect, safety and personal characteristics of each.

There are three types of preschool institutions in the country:

  • State kindergartens are managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth. The state subsidizes the construction and repair of buildings and premises, the salaries of educators and the purchase of teaching materials. Parents of children under 4 years 8 months old pay a monthly fee of €45 and up, depending on the decision of the government. The fee depends on the average family income. The lower the income, the less you have to pay for the kindergarten.
  • Community kindergartens are opened when there are not enough places in public kindergartens in a particular area. They can be created by various public organizations, parent associations or by decision of local authorities. Registered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth. The garden is managed by local authorities or the association of parents, who take on all the funding.
  • Private kindergartens belong to a specific owner in the form of a legal or natural person. All expenses are paid by the parents. The cost of a child’s stay in such kindergartens is much higher than in public ones, but they provide more services.

Every private preschool is required to obtain permission from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth based on the recommendation of the Private Education Oversight Committee. To open a private kindergarten, in addition to permission, a license for this type of activity is required.

A complete list of private kindergartens can be found on the website of the Ministry of Education.

Parents are more likely to choose private kindergartens for the following reasons:

  • Low admission age. Usually, children are accepted in private institutions from the age of two. But there is a nursery with a special program for babies, where they take from one year.
  • Free choice of location. It is not necessary to choose a private kindergarten in the area of residence. You can choose an institution closer to work or in another convenient place.
  • Entry during the year. You can enroll in a private kindergarten throughout the year. They enroll in state institutions only in January, and you will have to wait for the results of admission for several more months.
  • Foreign languages other than Greek. They work with children in English and sometimes in Russian. At the same time, the program includes compulsory lessons of Greek as the state language of the Republic of Cyprus.
  • Long working hours. State kindergartens, like other budgetary organizations, work on average until 13:00. Private kindergartens are open until 17-18. If necessary, you can agree on an extension until 22:00 or a night shift until 8:00.
  • International standards of education are focused on the harmonious development of the child through creativity and physical activity.
  • Connections with schools. Many private kindergartens cooperate with British and other foreign schools. Here, children receive basic knowledge and skills that help them enter school and join the learning process. Another plus is automatic enrollment without queues and waiting lists.

Prices for private kindergarten services in Cyprus start from €150 for a part-time stay until 13:00. Additional costs include a registration fee of around €100. In many institutions you have to pay €20 for health insurance. Sometimes kindergartens charge a security deposit if the child is taken away from kindergarten before the end of the year.

There are several classifications of private preschool institutions. The main one is the language of instruction. English private gardens are chosen by families who plan to stay in Cyprus for a long time or live here permanently. Some of them expect to send their child to study in the UK or other European countries.

Russian Gardens are suitable for parents and children who plan to return to Russia and continue their education in local institutions. The program here is built in accordance with the standards of Russian education. In addition to the Russian language, children are adapted to the national culture and traditions.

There are mixed types of institutions – English-Greek or Russian-English private kindergartens for children. Children from multinational families come here, where parents consider it important to teach a child several languages at once.

Officially private kindergartens in Cyprus are divided into:

  • Gardens of the same type ( Same PRE PRIMARY Schools ) Strictly follow the curriculum of state institutions of good education.
  • Kindergartens of a similar type Other Kindergartens

Conclusion

When choosing a private kindergarten in Cyprus, decide what plans your family has and what kind of future you want for your child. Make a list of suitable institutions, collect information and feedback, sign up for a trial visit to see how things are in reality.

During a personal visit, pay attention to how many teachers are in the children’s group. Specify the qualifications of the staff and ask the teachers what they do in difficult situations, how they communicate with shy children, how they treat punishments and organize discipline. Check how clean the rooms are and how the safety of the pupils is observed.

Remember that every private kindergarten must have permission from the Ministry of Education and a license.

Ensuring safety in kindergartens : Video Technology Kursk

Ensuring the safety of preschool children in kindergartens is one of the top priorities facing the leadership of any municipal or private preschool institution. The company “Video Technologies” performs development and implementation advanced integrated automated systems that provide passive and active security in kindergarten.

Organization of safety in kindergarten from “Video Technology” is:

  • integrated turnkey kindergarten security;
  • anti-terrorism security in kindergarten;
  • personal security of preschool children, including protection of the rights of the child;
  • kindergarten access control systems.

In the course of work, we conduct an audit of the situation in the field of security in a kindergarten or a preschool educational institution and, together with its management, draw up and implement comprehensive security plan .

Ensuring safety in kindergartens

Video surveillance in kindergarten without “blind spots”

Video surveillance in kindergarten is an effective tool to ensure the safety of the child every minute of his stay in the kindergarten.

In each room of the group, as well as on the playgrounds of the kindergarten, opposite all available entrances and exits to the preschool educational institution and along the perimeter of the protected area, video cameras of various types (depending on specific purposes), allowing you to watch all the events around the clock without “blind spots” .

A special video monitor and hard disk are also installed (usually at the kindergarten security point) for “live” monitoring of the situation and archival video recording.

Such a security measure in a kindergarten as video surveillance helps the protection of the institution and its administration in dealing with a number of situations:

  • monitoring of unauthorized entry of suspicious persons into the territory of the kindergarten both during the day and at night;
  • control of the conscientiousness of the performance of work by educators, teachers and staff of a preschool institution;
  • control over the observance of the rights of the child;
  • investigation of situations with loss and damage to property of children and preschool institutions;
  • control over violation of the kindergarten’s internal regulations;
  • monitoring of accompanying (bringing and picking up children) persons.

Video surveillance in a kindergarten without “blind spots” in Kursk

Installation of a video surveillance system in a kindergarten can also provide active security against external threats and emergencies:

  • which trigger the sensors for recording, and it is also possible to connect the cameras to the security alarm system. Thus, penetration into the territory of intruders at night is excluded.
  • “live” video monitoring is able to detect the occurrence of an unforeseen situation: fire, flooding and take the necessary measures in time, as well as fix the chronology of events.
  • video surveillance system in a preschool institution can be integrated with a modern access control system to the territory of the kindergarten, both transport and certain persons.

Access control in preschool institutions

An important role in ensuring security in kindergarten is played by the differentiation of access rights for staff and visitors.

The automated access control system provides a high level of anti-terrorist security, as well as the personal safety of children by restricting the access of unauthorized persons to the territory.

The external part of the access control system consists of barriers for transport and turnstiles / gates for kindergarten visitors. Access through the turnstiles can be carried out both by a team from the security point, and with the help of individual contact or contactless access cards (passes) issued by the school administration to parents and staff.

The implementation of this system allows control of visits to kindergarten both by staff and all visitors, with an accuracy of up to a second in automatic mode.

The visitor photo identification log will help a security officer or caregiver to determine if an unauthorized person has used the access card.

Information about the time of entry and exit to the territory of the kindergarten of a person with identification card for a specific child (one of the parents, nanny, relative) can be transmitted in the form of sms to the mobile phone indicated by the parents.

The number of video cameras installed, the features of the access control system directly depend on both the security needs of the preschool institution and the budget.

Our engineers are ready to develop the most efficient and cost effective security solutions for kindergartens and preschools.

Our guarantees:

1 year warranty after installation of preschool security systems;
– Technical and information support during the entire warranty period;
– Certified equipment and experience in the implementation of projects “Safe City” in the territories of municipal preschool institutions;

To register a child, the following documents must be submitted:

– passport of one of the parents (legal representatives) of the child;

– birth certificate of the child;

– documents confirming the right at the time of the application of parents (legal representatives) to an extraordinary or priority provision of a place in a preschool organization in accordance with applicable law (if any).

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?

The following documents are required to apply

1) Child’s birth certificate

2) Parent’s passport

3) Documents confirming the right to benefits

“with a package of documents for placing the child on the waiting list for kindergarten.

WHEN I APPLY, DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE 3 KINDERGARTENS? WHY DO I DO THIS IF I WANT TO SEND THE CHILD TO A SPECIFIC KINDERGARTEN?

When submitting an application, in accordance with regulations, each parent can indicate no more than 3 kindergartens where they want to enroll their child. This is done so that during distribution, if there are not enough places in the priority kindergarten, the system can try to distribute the child to the second priority. If there are no places there, then – in the third. However, if you have chosen one particular kindergarten, then when applying, you can only indicate it. In this case, if there are not enough places in the kindergarten, your application will be postponed until the next year. Application time will remain.

WHAT IS THE QUEUING ALGORITHM?

The queue is formed in accordance with the following algorithm: applications are lined up in the order of submission (the day, hour, minute and even second of submission are fixed). But the applications submitted on preferential terms are distributed among them in the first place. Also, during automatic distribution, the number of free places in a particular kindergarten in the corresponding age groups is taken into account. Therefore, the location of the parent in the queue may change.

CAN I SEE MY PLACE IN THE LINE SOMEWHERE?

The parent does not have this function, because the principle of queuing does not guarantee you that your place in the queue will remain unchanged until distribution. The fact is that the queue fixes not only the time of application, but also the benefits available to applicants. Preferential applications have priority in distribution, regardless of the time of submission of such an application. You can assess the current situation in terms of the availability of places in the kindergarten you are interested in by studying the section “Select a preschool”.

IF I FORGET / LOST THE PASSWORD TO ENTER THE PORTAL, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

In the “Login” section, you need to click on the link “Forgot your password?”, enter your e-mail in the field that opens and you will immediately receive an email with a new password.

IF I PREVIOUSLY APPLIED FOR ONE CHILD, DO I HAVE TO RE-REGISTER TO APPLY FOR A SECOND CHILD NOW?

If you have previously applied for one child, you do not need to register in the system a second time to apply for a second child. You log in with your old username and password and add a new application in the Applications section. Information about previously submitted applications, as well as about previously registered children, will be stored in your personal account.

MY APPLICATION HAS BEEN ALLOCATED WITH A NUMBER AFTER SUBMISSION. IS MY STATEMENT NUMBER IN THE QUEUE?

The number that was assigned to your application has nothing to do with your place in the queue. The application number is generated automatically by the system and is only relevant when contacting technical support to resolve technical issues, if any.

After submitting the application, the child enters the general queue for admission to preschool. Applications are sorted by date of submission, linking preschool to certain addresses (in large cities) and category of child benefits. You can choose to enroll up to 3 preschools in order of preference for enrollment – if the child does not have enough space in the first preschool selected, then the system tries to allocate him to the next one, etc. You can check which preschool the child is currently assigned to in your personal account.

Energy saving.

Modern life is unthinkable without electricity. After all, it surrounds us everywhere: at home, on the street, at school and orphanages. We do not think that it can be very dangerous. Accustomed to the safety and reliability of electrical appliances, we do not think about this many important factors in our modern life. Various events were held as part of the All-Russian Energy Saving Festival “Brighter Together”. Teachers with preschoolers talked a lot on the topics: “What is energy?”, “Why you need to save energy”, “What should be done to save light and heat in the house?”. From these conversations, the children learned a lot of cognitive information. Pedagogical situations “Let’s save together!” offered children various entertaining tasks, games, developing coloring books, which children performed with pleasure. To consolidate the material studied by children, game minutes “Guess an electrical device”, “Guess an electrical device by sound”, “Switches” were used. The final events were energy saving classes at the preschool educational institution “You and I are an economical family!”, where the children drew, made posters and once again clarified and summarized the knowledge gained. We hope that all the knowledge gained by the children will be used by them in everyday life.

Program description

Head Start is a federal program that promotes the school readiness of children under five from low-income families by enhancing their cognitive, social and emotional development. Head Start programs provide a learning environment that supports children’s growth in many areas such as language, literacy and social and emotional development. Head Start emphasizes the role of parents as their child’s first and most important teacher. These programs help build relationships with families that support family well-being and many other important areas.

Early Head Start programs serve infants, toddlers and pregnant women and their families who have incomes below the federal poverty level. Early Head Start programs were established in recognition of the mounting evidence that the earliest years matter a great deal to a child’s growth and development.

    A metropolitan psychologist spoke about the role of a mother in different periods of a child’s life

    In infancy, a child cannot do without a mother. Over time, it grows up, and its role changes, but the value does not decrease. Irina Kutyanova, a psychologist at the Pechatniki family center, spoke about this in more detail.

    Give your child freedom of choice!

    The mother of a 12-year-old son applied to the Pechatniki family center. She complained that the child had ceased to obey. After several meetings with a psychologist, the mother realized that it was necessary to rebuild relations with her growing son, to give him more freedom, for example, in choosing hobbies and circles, while gently directing his energy into a constructive channel.

    Period from 0 to 1 year

    “The most important task of a mother during this period is emotional and physical contact with the baby, satisfaction of his basic needs, development of the child according to his age”, says the psychologist.

    It is very important for a child (from 0 to 1 year old) to experience the unconditional love of a mother for her baby. Through interaction with his mother, he forms a basic trust or distrust in the world. If a mother reacts to signals from a child, understands them, interacts with a child, gives him her love and care, then he forms an attitude that the world is good, treats him kindly. And in the future it will be much easier for him to build relationships with other people, to become independent and independent.

    At a very early age, a child needs tactile contact, it is no coincidence that such devices as slings and kangaroos are very popular. If the baby is crying, not hungry, clean, then the first thing you need to do is pick him up. Being in physical contact with his mother, in her arms, he calms down. “Don’t get annoyed at the crying of a small child, but try to calm down and find out the reason. Behind this is an unmet need or discomfort. He cries when something is wrong, if he is tired or hungry, and not in order to annoy his parents or manipulate them, “ – advises Irina.

    Of the educational games at this age, bright rattles, tumblers, toys with different fillers that the baby can take in pens (for example, cereals, peas, etc.) are relevant. Parents can make such toys with their own hands. The songs and lullabies that a mother sings for a baby are relevant. It is also very important to talk with the child: communication should express joy and love for the baby.

    Early childhood: 1 to 3 years

    Starting from the age of 1, the child learns to walk independently, the main role of the mother is to create a safe environment for the baby. It is also the time when the child is actively developing. Mom becomes the child’s guide to the world around her, she teaches to name objects, pronounce words and sentences. At the same time, it is important that the mother’s speech be leisurely, then the baby will learn to speak much faster. You can listen and sing simple songs with your baby.

    Provide a safe space: remove household chemicals, sharp objects from places accessible to the child, put restraints on cabinets, sockets, windows.

    Teach your child the basics of safe behavior: do not run into the road, do not pick up garbage from the ground, do not take toys from other children. It is very important to do this in the correct form, not to yell at the child. And being on the street and in public places, always hold the child by the hand. In this way, you give him information about the outside world, about how it works, while ensuring his safety.

    Of the developing games, give preference to finger games that train fine motor skills: “magpie-crow”, finger gymnastics.

    Preschool age: from 3 to 7 years

    Every year it becomes more and more interesting to communicate with your child, you can discuss with him what is happening on the street or in the park, collect autumn leaves together, make crafts for children garden. As a rule, during this period, the mother returns to work if there are no younger brothers and sisters, and the child begins to go to kindergarten.

    With the start of attending a kindergarten, a child’s life changes, he learns to communicate not only in the family, but also in the first children’s team with other children. “Pay attention to what the child is drawn to: some children like to draw, while others are more interested in dancing or sports. Consider how the child adapts to the kindergarten, whether he is willing to stay in the group, how he communicates with other children. Encourage the natural aspirations of children from an early age, and then in the future they can fully open up and become real talents, ”, the psychologist comments.

    Primary school age: from 7 to 11 years old

    At this age, the child still retains many childish qualities, he still needs care and support. The main change that occurs during this period is the beginning of schooling. Mom, like no one else, can help in the adaptation of the child, identify the problem in time and solve it.

    “Stay close by, help your child if he cannot immediately solve a problem or write prescriptions. Do not put pressure on him, but explain that if he has difficulties, he can always turn to his mother with a question and for help. Be interested in how he is doing, what is incomprehensible or difficult, what difficulties the child faces, with whom he communicated at school, what subjects are his favorite, , says Irina.

    Adolescence: 12 to 15 years

    This period is the most difficult in the life of not only parents, but also children. Therefore, the role of the mother should be to understand the inclinations and abilities of the teenager, which need to be helped to develop. A child at this age focuses more on peers than on the opinion of parents. At the same time, this is a normal phenomenon and is associated with the growing up of the child. The difficulties of adolescence will pass, but it is important to maintain contact with the child during this period. Recognition of his growing up, expansion of independence and responsibility, attraction to help around the house will help in communicating with the child.

    “The role of a mother at this age is to help the child navigate the future profession, maintain good relationships, and maintain an emotional connection. During this period, you can communicate with a teenager on topics that concern him: about the meaning of life, purpose, about life and death, ”the psychologist believes .

    Crises

    When communicating with a child, it is important to consider turning points, or developmental crises: to Lev Vygotsky is 1 year old, 2 years old, 3 years old, 6-7 years old, 12-13 years old. It is at this time that dramatic changes occur that give a new quality to the development of children: 1 year – mastering walking; 2 years – the formation of visual-effective thinking, a turning point in the development of speech; 3 years – the period when the connection between the behavior and development of the child is especially clear, the baby is aware of himself as a person; 6-7 years – the period of preparation for school; 12-13 years – puberty, puberty.

    How to increase your target team leader salary

    Now that you have a better idea of what you could expect to earn as a target team leader, let’s look at ways to boost your salary.

    1. Strengthen your skills

    Pursuing and improving in-demand skills could make you more competitive for promotions and higher-paying positions. These skills include:

    • Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and direct a team of employees to achieve common goals
    • Communication: Effectively communicate with employees, guests, and other stakeholders
    • Organization: Create and maintain an organized work environment, including delegating tasks and maintaining inventory
    • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests and resolve complaints in a timely manner
    • Problem Solving: Quickly and efficiently resolve problems that arise in the workplace
    2. Negotiate your job offer

    When you’re offered a job, be sure to negotiate your salary. This is especially important if you’re being offered a job that’s not your dream job, or if you feel like you’re being underpaid. By negotiating, you could end up with a salary that’s more in line with your experience and skills.

    3. Talk to Recruiters

    If you’re looking for a raise, it can’t hurt to chat with recruiters from other companies. They may have insight into what your skills are worth in the current market, and could even help you land a new job with a higher salary.

    III. Financing and remuneration of labor

    1. In order to create temporary additional jobs for the employment of adolescents, the bodies of the employment service may provide targeted financial assistance to employers at the expense of the regional part of the State Employment Fund of the Russian Federation <*> in the form of targeted compensation payments.

    ——————————–

    <*> In the future – employment fund.

    2. In all cases of creating temporary additional jobs with the involvement of the Employment Fund in the form of targeted compensation payments, the allocated funds are intended to pay adolescents, transport costs for their delivery to and from the place of work, in some cases – to purchase the necessary small equipment within the limits specified in the contract.

    3. Target compensation payments are allocated by employment centers to employers who organize temporary additional jobs for teenagers within the limits of the budget item “Public works and temporary employment” (sub-item “Temporary employment of minors”) in accordance with the approved budget.

    4. Funding for the creation of temporary additional jobs can be carried out by the employment service authorities jointly with any interested parties, as well as independently.

    5. Target compensation payments to employers are allocated regardless of the form of ownership and are made on a contractual basis.

    6. Target compensation payments to employers who create temporary additional jobs for the employment of adolescents are allocated, as a rule, on a gratuitous basis.

    7. Target compensation payments are allocated primarily to employers who create temporary additional jobs at their own expense, as well as with the attraction of budget funds from state executive authorities.

    8. Allocation of compensation payments from the employment fund to employers who employ adolescents for temporary work is carried out for the intended purpose within the time limits stipulated by the concluded agreements. Target compensation payments are transferred to employers, taking into account taxes and insurance contributions to off-budget funds, with the exception of value added tax and special tax.

    9. Financial support for temporary employment of minors from the funds of the employment fund with travel to other territories (outside the republic within the Russian Federation, territory, region, autonomous entity) is allowed only in cases where it is impossible to organize the employment of adolescents in their region. Railway fares are paid only on a parity basis with other interested parties.

    Financial resources for paying for travel by rail to the place of work and back are allocated in an amount not exceeding the cost of railway tickets in a reserved seat car.

    10. Remuneration for work of teenagers in all types of work and in any form of its financing is made by the employer.

    11. In the absence of funds from the employer, payment is made partially or completely from the funds of targeted compensation payments transferred from the budget of state executive bodies, the employment fund, and other sources in proportion to hours worked or depending on output in accordance with existing norms and rates.

    Subject to working out the monthly balance of working time provided for each age category of underage citizens, the amount of wages paid from any source of funding must not be less than the minimum wage established by law for the current period of time.

    The maximum amount of wages of minors paid at the expense of compensation payments from the funds of the employment fund should not exceed the amount of 2 minimum wages; in some cases, when employing minor citizens with a profession (qualification), wages in an increased amount (no more than 4 minimum wages) are allowed if there are funds in the employment fund and within the approved budget.

    12. Remuneration for work of adolescents can be made for the entire period of hours worked or for any period (day, week, etc.), regardless of the period for which the contract is concluded.

    13. Remuneration for the work of group leaders who are responsible for organizing the work of adolescents and who are with them at the workplace during the entire period of work is carried out at the expense of the employer.

    Employment fund funds for the remuneration of group leaders are recommended to be attracted only in cases where it is not possible to attract other sources of funding for these purposes (funds from employers, budgetary funds of state executive bodies, other interested parties).

    14. Monthly wages of group leaders paid at the expense of the employment fund cannot exceed:

    with the number of participants in the group up to 10 people – the amount of wages according to the 7th category of the Unified tariff scale for wages of public sector employees;

    if the number of participants in the group is at least 25 people – the amount of remuneration according to the 10th category of the Unified tariff scale for remuneration of public sector employees.

    What auditors and tax advisors are asked in their Big Four interviews

    If you’re interviewing at one of the Big Four companies—or several—you’ll have a lot to say about yourself. While in banks shock tests and questions related to the technical side of future work are most popular, in the field of audit, your competence and compliance with employer standards are of the greatest interest. Why did you choose this particular company, why you are attracted to this position and a hundred more similar “whys”. Let’s look at specific examples.

    PricewaterhouseCoopers

    In PWC, the issue of competence is particularly acute. It will be useful to familiarize yourself with the relevant section of the company’s website.

    1. Tell us about a situation in which you had to correct someone else’s mistake
    2. What do you think are the responsibilities of this position?
    3. Tell us about how the result of your work has improved after its critical evaluation

    Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu

    Interviews at Deloitte are in many ways similar to those at PWC: you will have a detailed analysis of your skills and knowledge, diluted with the most unexpected questions. 15. Why do pots have round necks?

    KPMG

    What awaits you at KPMG? In short, the same thing, but now there are nine competencies. And you have to answer a lot of questions about how well you mastered them.

    1. What makes KPMG stand out from the rest of the Big Four? Why do you want to work with us?

    14. What are you most proud of?
    15. What prospects in new areas do you see for KPMG?

    Ernst & Young

    EY, unlike previous companies, tends to consider your strengths during the interview process – you have to talk about what you are really interested in and what you do best.

    1. What are you most interested in learning?
    2. What is your strongest passion?
    3. Is it easier for you to start things or finish them?
    4. What is closer to you – the big picture or particular details?
    5. How was your last good day?
    6. What do you do in your free time?
    7. When do you feel happy?
    8. Under what conditions can you be most yourself?
    9. Do you have enough 24 hours a day?
    10. If you had to face the same problem twice, did you solve it in a new way?
    11. Tell about your friends.
    12. Tell us something about yourself that is not on your resume.

      It often happens that two companies make mutual transactions, and no payment actually occurs. According to the Value Added Tax Directive and the Value Added Tax Act, turnover arises from both sides, and value added tax still has to be paid to the state, despite the fact that offsets occur between companies.

    SUCCESS

    My children have been attending the center for over a year now and I can honestly say the staff as well as the owner have been a true blessing to my family. My children are learning and participating in different activities every day. I love the teacher student interaction as well as how much the teachers keep parents informed throughout the day. I highly recommend this center for any parents looking for a reliable child care facility.

    PELAParent

    They are simply heaven sent! They’ve blessed my child and our life more than they know!

    PELAParent

    My children attend & they love it! Extremely loving staff who actually care about the children.

    PELAParent

    This is my first year sending my daughter to a Preschool and I must say we both love it! Ms. Brittany has been so sweet since I inquired over the phone, in person and via email. My little one is really learning a lot daily. All the teachers are very sweet and have good spirits. My daughter loves going to school everyday especially seeing Ms. Myoshia, she’s her favorite! I’m grateful that I was recommended to this school. Keep up the good work ladies!!!

    PELAParent

    Mrs. Brittany and her amazing staff completely change your perspective on child care experience. They are consistently patient, caring, and dedicated to growing the WHOLE child. Even better, there’s real learning going on over there. I’m so grateful to be able to call this academy my children’s school. Thank you to PELA!

    PELAParent

    I found Brittany through my neighborhood Facebook group. I have really enjoyed the experience. When my daughter first started attending, like all kids she cried when we dropped her off. Now, she cries not to leave her friends at preschool. Most importantly she doesn’t come home sick like she did with bigger Daycares.

    ABOUT US – Preschool Express Learning Academy

    ABOUT US

    Ayrric and Brittany Jones

    Owners

    Hello! My name is Brittany Jones. My wonderful husband, Ayrric, and I are the elated owners of Preschool Express Learning Academy in Humble Texas. We were both born and raised in the small town of Nacogdoches, Tx. Currently are blessed with 2 beautiful children, Syniah and Jaylen. My loving family is the light that guides my life. After studying Elementary Education at LeTourneau University I knew it was my life’s purpose to help grow and develop the minds of children. My entire adult life has been filled with the joy that comes with educating young minds. There is something gratifying in seeing a child start to develop their mind and begin the journey of education.  Ayrric is by my side working behind the scenes keeping the facility in top condition.  Ayrric ensures our facility is abiding all requirements for local codes, standards, and procedure.

    Despite having studied Physics at Stephen F Austin University and Mechanical Engineering and Management at University of Texas in Tyler Tx he has no qualms about getting his hands dirty rather it be with a maintenance issue or a problem building a town from play doh.   Ayrric’s devotion to his family and the efficiency of PELA is admirable.  We believe learning at an early age instills a sense of self confidence lasting a lifetime. Combined we have over 15 years of experience in childcare and tons of experience in project management and execution.  We have found the greatest joy comes from knowing we had a hand in preparing our community’s children for their future. Part of the mission at PELA is to mold the growth of each child in any aspect possible. Each child and their development are important, and it is our duty to make sure they know through positive reinforcements and encouragement. The most rewarding part of this career has been receiving smiles, hugs, laughter, drawings, and getting to enjoy the great moments each child brings daily. Thank you for giving us the privilege to work with your most precious possession.  We look forward to being a step on your child’s ladder of life experiences and you guys joining our PELA family.

    OUR PHILOSOPHY

    We believe that an early childhood care and educational program should provide a safe, warm, secure and comfortable environment. We believe that each child should be respected and cared for individually through an attached relationship with a knowledgeable, caring, and responsive adult caregiver. We believe that a learning environment that allows children to explore with all their senses through play will help each child grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. This type of environment will encourage children’s independence, self-control, and allow them to take responsibility for their actions. We also feel this environment will enable children to be problem solvers and develop communication skills, which they will use throughout their lives.

    OUR MISSION

    To provide high quality, developmentally appropriate child care for children with focus on the individual child’s age and ability to stimulate social, cognitive, physical and emotional growth. To provide a safe, nurturing and recreational environment for all.

    OUR VISION

    Our vision is to be the recognized leader in providing the best care for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age children. Known for our exceptional educational programs, talented teams, and community relationships, we pride ourselves on our unique blend of fun and learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
