PROGRAMMING – Kids R Kind LLC
Our centers provides a safe learning environment promoting risk taking and inclusion for all students. Consequently, teachers focus on understanding the learning needs of students and the development of a delivery system to address those needs. Teachers implement and utilize “best practices” and include research based pedagogy to implement the most effective instructional designs. By employing a wide variety of instructional techniques, teachers meet the individual needs of students. The following researched-based instructional methods will provide opportunities for all students to learn at the highest levels across all disciplines.
Our Approach:
All core subject content will be taught in a sequential order that will provide all students fundamental knowledge and skills to enter elementary school as an “on track” college bound student.
Problem-based Learning:
Research supports the significance of connecting classroom instruction to authentic experience outside the classroom. Therefore, PBL creates an opportunity for students to apply newly learned concepts and past knowledge to complex real-life problems. Our culminating projects will offer a method for measuring what students have learned. The projects require a range of skills, including written and oral expression, extended research, analysis and synthesis of information, planning, perseverance, and organization, all skills that are needed for success in elementary, middle school, high school, college, and the adult world. Students will have a “voice” in selecting their problems and the expression of their “solution” through projects Integrated Curriculum: The integrated curriculum design model will support the Problem-based Learning model giving students authentic opportunities to incorporate mathematical and scientific reasoning and written and oral language skills. Visual and performing arts are woven throughout the curriculum and beyond the core academic day as forms of enrichment, assessment, application and synthesis of learning. Our before and after-school programming will also provide students opportunities in music, art, drama, and technology.
Direct Explicit Instruction:
Students will learn through both direct instruction and inquiry-based instruction. Whole group, small group, and individual instruction will provide students with the support needed to acquire concepts and the skills necessary to think critically while gaining academic proficiency. The term “Direct Instruction” refers to a rigorously developed, highly scripted method for teaching that is fast-paced and provides constant interaction between students and the teacher. “If the child hasn’t learned, the teacher hasn’t taught.” That’s the philosophy behind Direct Instruction, an educational technique that challenges the mantras of modern bureaucrats and shows that even the most disadvantaged children can excel, if only schools will teach them. The evidence for the success of Direct Instruction is much more than anecdotal: major long-term studies provide powerful evidence of its success, and disturbing evidence for the futility of the more popular techniques that dominate our schools.
Inquiry-Based instruction:
Inquiry based teaching is a teaching method that combines the curiosity of students and the scientific method to enhance the development of critical thinking skills while learning science. As learners encounter problems they do not understand, they formulate questions, explore problems, observe, and apply new information in seeking a better understanding of the world. The natural process the learners follow when seeking answers and deeper understanding closely follows the generally accepted scientific method.
Scope and Sequence:
All core subject content will be taught in a sequential order that will provide all students fundamental knowledge and skills to enter elementary school as an “on track” college bound student

Ohio prosecutors sued Meta, formerly known as Facebook, for $100 billion. Plaintiffs allege the company was aware of Instagram’s toxic effects on teenage girls, but covered it up for profit
The U.S. state attorney’s office in Ohio has filed a lawsuit against Meta Platforms, formerly known as Facebook, alleging that the company misled the public about the impact of its algorithms on children, The Wall Street Journal reported.
“Facebook claimed to care for our children and weed out online trolls, but in reality it created misery and division for profit,” said Ohio Attorney General Dave Yots.
The lawsuit is filed on behalf of some of Meta’s investors and the Ohio State Employees’ Retirement System and seeks damages in excess of $100 billion. In addition, plaintiffs are asking Meta to make significant changes to how it operates to avoid further misleading investors. nine0005
The lawsuit alleges that from April 29 to October 21, Facebook and its executives violated federal securities laws by deliberately misleading the public about the negative effects of their products on minors in order to increase the share price and defraud shareholders. According to the plaintiffs, the truth began to emerge on Sept. 13, when The Wall Street Journal published the first article in its “Facebook Files” series. From it it became known that the company knew about the harm caused by the Instagram photo-sharing application to teenage girls. nine0005

Following the revelations, Facebook’s share price fell $54. 08, and the Ohio State Employees’ Retirement System and Facebook’s investors lost more than $100 billion, the agency said.

In May, prosecutors in 44 US states called on Facebook to stop developing a version of Instagram for children under 13, which was announced in March. In September, the WSJ published an investigation concluding that Facebook was aware of Instagram’s toxic effects on teenage girls. A three-year internal study by the company found that the social network worsens the perception of their body image in a third of teenage girls, leads them to merciless “social comparison” of themselves with examples of attractiveness, wealth and success promoted by influencers, pushes them to suicidal thoughts. Two weeks after the publication, the company suspended the creation of Instagram for children. nine0005

Columbus. The capital of Ohio and the fifteenth most populous city in the United States. It is located on the Sayoto River, where you can go canoeing while enjoying the surrounding views. Here is one of the largest universities in the country – Ohio State University. Columbus has an incredible five-hectare Rose Park with over 12,000 species of beautiful flowers. This is the world’s largest urban botanical garden, where you can take a breath on a bench, in the shade of trees, or listen to live music.
There are 19 more located in Columbusgreen parks where you can relax from the stone jungle – each of them has its own characteristics. In the Art Museum, it is worth getting acquainted with the canvases of European and American artists, as well as sculptures, photographs and other works of art of the 19th-20th centuries.
Cleveland. The second largest city in the state, which is located on the southern shore of Lake Erie, on the maritime border with Canada. It is considered the birthplace of rock and roll, thanks to the fact that local DJ Alan Freed, who worked at the WMMS radio station, first used the term rock’n’roll. The heart of Cleveland is Public Square, where the tallest buildings of the city, the old Old Stone Church and the military monument are located. Also located here are the unique Steamship William G. Mather Maritime Museum and the museum submarine USS Cod (SS-224). In the city center is the second largest theater complex in the United States – Playhouse Square Center. And in the University Circle area, the Cleveland Museum of Art is one of the best in the country. The magnificent Cleveland Symphony Orchestra is based in this part of the city. nine0005
Cincinnati. One of the oldest cities in America, located on the Ohio border with Indiana and Kentucky. The historic look of the city and its atmosphere can be felt in the Over-the-Rhine area. The buildings of the 19th century are perfectly preserved here, where saloons, bars, pubs and theaters were previously located. There is also a whole brewing district here. Cincinnati boasts early 20th-century skyscrapers, and the giant Carew Tower offers breathtaking views of the city. A bridge has been built across the Ohio River, which may suggest New York. And this is no coincidence, because the John Roebling Bridge is the prototype of the Brooklyn brother. nine0005
Akron. This city is called the “rubber capital of the world” because of the number of headquarters of leaders in the production of tires and rubber located in it. In the 1940s and 1950s, Akron became a haven for black jazz musicians who were not allowed into Cleveland hotels. Thus arose the famous “jazz corridor” along Howard Street. The city is very reverent about cinema, arranging screenings of films by local directors, as well as little-known indies and documentaries. Akron will also delight lovers of gastronomy. In Chill Ice Cream shops, you should definitely try a cold dessert with the taste of honey habanero, salted corn with sage, sweet cucumbers with coriander and even local beer. You should also look into the 750ml wine bar with its gourmet snacks and excellent wine and Luigi’s Italian restaurant with delicious pizza.
Best online learning platforms for kids: Use screen time well in 2022

Online Learning
We are living in a new age of widespread remote, online learning.
Even before COVID-19 forced the shutdown of schools all over the world, investment in edtech (education technology) had reached $18.66 billion in 2019 and the market of online education is projected to be $350 billion by 2025.
Today, the internet is becoming a virtual classroom for a growing number of kids as parents are turning to online resources to help plan lessons and look for activities for their housebound kids. Even high schoolers are also looking for additional test prep help from home. But here’s the good news: The quality of online learning platforms has only grown to meet this demand.
Some offer games that teach young children in a fun, engaging way that barely feels like school, while others offer in-depth curriculums in foreign languages for students whose parents only speak one language.
That said, when you’re looking for an online learning platform for your kids, especially little kids, there are a lot of factors to consider to make sure that your child is actually learning something from it. You want them to be engaged with the material and not fight you every time they need to log on. You also don’t want to waste your money on something clunky or dangerous.
The answer, of course, depends a little on the student you’re looking for, but in general, all good online learning platforms should meet the following criteria:
It should not be weighed down in ads.
Free educational apps might sound good, but bear in mind that free platforms often require advertising to keep the app running — and some of that advertisement might not be kid-friendly.
It is especially important to avoid ads if you’re looking for a learning platform for young children because studies of children under the ages of four or five have shown that this age group doesn’t consistently distinguish what an ad is. This greatly diminishes the educational value of the platform.
Ads can also just be cumbersome, crowding the screen or slowing down how quickly the learning platform loads, making for a clunky user experience.
They should be educational.
This might sound obvious, but just because something is labeled as educational doesn’t mean it actually provides the best educational experience. Games should mostly — if not entirely — be focused on teaching.
They should also engage kids so they’re actively learning. If the platform allows the child to zone out and just “watch,” chances are they won’t remember as much. But if the platform asks them questions, has them create something, or invites them to actively use their new knowledge — much like a teacher in a classroom — chances are the child will pay more attention and recall more information.
They offer something an off-screen experience can’t.
With the rise of remote learning, this is often the feature that gets set aside, especially with early-learning apps that let kids put puzzles together or trace letters on the screen — two activities they can also do in real life instead of the screen.
The best learning platforms are aware of the dramatic increase in children’s screen time and try to offer something pen and paper or physical games cannot. Some teach children how to code, others offer them access to experts in a foreign language that simply wouldn’t be available closer to home. And others still compete with non-educational games by making learning fun.
Some of the best also spark an interest in off-screen activities. Many of the best will offer ideas for kids to continue their learning offline by grabbing a pen and paper to draw, work out a math equation, foster a love of reading books IRL, or experiment with hands-on-art projects.
They should be safe.
This means that they should not expose kids to strangers who could harm them.
Avoid learning platforms that feature online chat rooms that a stranger could join and use to talk to your child. For young children, you’ll also want to avoid platforms that link out of the app because this can lead them to browsing unsafe or unverified sites.
It is against the law, thanks to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA), for websites to collect personal information from children under thirteen without parental consent. That said, make sure you choose an online platform or tool that follows the law and has the necessary privacy settings.
If you’re not sure if a program is safe for use, you can always check with the Common Sense Media Privacy Program.
Even for older children, learning platforms that allow you to create a username — instead of their whole name — can be a wise choice, especially if there is a public aspect to the platform (i.e. a score ranking).
They should allow you or the child to track their progress.
Some will do this with a parental tracker. Others will offer grades. But monitoring progress is key so that kids can see how they’re improving and know where they need to improve. This can boost their confidence and engagement too.
For young children in particular, you might feel more comfortable with an app that also alerts you to their progress and lets you know of an issue or concern early on. This can help you know what you need to work with them on offline and one-on-one. For example, if you know that your child is behind on reading comprehension, you’ll know that you should make more time to work with them offline and find fun ways to read in the evening or on weekends.
Be careful of educational platforms that emphasize rewards instead of actual learning. You want them to be motivated to learn the actual concept being taught, not just reach the next level.
A clear sign of gamified platforms is if they rely on in-app purchases. Those platforms are steered more towards leveling up and making money than actually teaching your children. (Plus, platforms with in-app purchases can get very expensive quickly — another reason to avoid them.)
They should be clear about what age they’re geared for.
Nothing can hamper a kid’s self-esteem or confidence faster than material that is way too hard. Similarly, material that is too easy can bore children. To make sure that neither of these scenarios occurs, parents should know what ages the content is made for so they can help pick an age-appropriate platform.
For younger children, you’ll also want to prioritize platforms that make learning fun or that offer rewards or achievements for every lesson they complete. That way they’ll feel encouraged and engaged.
Do you really need it?
There’s no need to increase your child’s screen time just because. There are lots of offline activities (think: crafts, books, sports, etc.) to keep a child entertained. So there’s no need to just plunk your child in front of a screen if the platform is teaching them something they can already get elsewhere.
That’s why when you’re picking a platform, consider its true purpose and what it really offers your child. Is it teaching them something new or is just keeping them from being bored?
Here are some of our favorite online learning platforms for kids in 2022 that meet these criteria — but keep reading to get the full list below.

The Best 24 Free Online Classes For Kids
Are you looking for online learning for kids that rocks? Look no further, because we’ve compiled a list of free online classes for kids as well as low-cost, affordable ones, for those rainy days when you’re stuck at home or for when your toddler’s school is canceled or for whenever you want your kids to have some fun, online education.
There are many great, free online education courses for kids available offered by both accredited institutions and long-run and beloved learning companies such as Khan Academy, Scholastic, Epic, Fun Brain, National Geographic Kids, and PBS.
Some offer full curriculums, others provide simple activities and educational entertainment, like Adventure Academy. All are useful for helping kids of all ages engage in free online learning. But the free online learning classes can also help kids stay active, and play at a time when movement and learning are so very necessary. Some of the below classes have free trial periods, so they’re worth exploring as well.
General Curriculum (Science, Math, Reading, Social Studies)
Outschool
Ages: 3 and up Why It’s Great: If variety truly is the spice of life, then Outschool is a dish with something for everyone. You choose a class based on age, interest, start date, and the length of the class. The courses run the gamut, from beginner reading (for $23/class) to film animation ($40/class) to basic multiplication ($19/class). There’s even a class on mindfulness because of course there is. So while the classes aren’t free, the sheer number of them, coupled with the very affordable rates and the expertise of the instructors make this one very worth your while.
Code with Google
Ages: 9 and up
Why It’s Great: Surely you’ve heard of Google. Well, the massive entity is now offering classes that teach kids 9 and up coding, and technical skills. And the classes are, well, fun. For real. Students in fourth grade and up learn coding through activities, hands-on lessons, and lesson supplements. Sample challenge: Kids program a conversation between two characters to explore the very vital role of dialogue in storytelling because words matter. A lot. Creating and sticking to a coherent storyline is a critical part of learning.
CodeAcademy
Ages: 10 and up
Why It’s Great: STEM, STEM, and more STEM. Plus, while this is not free, you can now get a pretty massive discount. Students get access to CodeAcademy Pro for $90, which is $150 less than the usual price of $240. Just in time for back to school. Students build real, portfolio-ready projects and learn every single aspect of coding.
iRobot Education
Ages: 6 and up
Why It’s Great: The folks who gave us the Roomba have put together a repository of great STEM lessons, most of them free. Kids, from first grade on, can use the paper code blocks to program dances, or do a slew of different exercises from a printable STEM activity book.
Zearn
Ages: 5 and up
Why it’s great:It makes math fun. Yes, we said it. Fun. The site uses animation, embedded instruction, fast-paced drills, and thorough tutorials to teach kids though self-paced digital lessons. Kids get positive feedback, and encouragement when get something wrong. Parents or teachers set up accounts for kids.
Bronx Zoo Animal Doodles
Ages: 4 and up
Why It’s Great: The Bronx Zoo, which just reopened, is a magical experience if you take your kids to see the animals in person. The gorillas alone are worth the price of admission. But if you can’t be there in person, your kids can at least learn to draw an American bison or sand tiger shark or a red panda, courtesy of free instructional videos.
Storyline
Ages: 2 and up
Why It’s Great: Viola Davis, Oprah Winfrey, Kevin Costner, and Chris Pine are just a few of the wonderful talents who make story time that much more fun and engaging for kids by reading to them. And yes, it’s free. Kids can choose anything from Clark & Shark to Brave Irene to Catching the Moon. Reading to kids boosts literacy, and the book selections here are stellar.
Learn with Homer
Ages: 2 to 8
Why It’s Great: The learning modules are immersive, engaging, and just damn fun, helping kids learning everything from sight words to the fundamentals of writing by letting them create their stories. You get a free 30 day trial, after setting up your child’s profile. The company says that after only 15 minutes per day, kids become better readers as they engage in 1,000+ lessons, stories, and activities personalized by children’s specific interests, skill levels, and the type of learning. Also, your membership buys you four profiles, so it’s especially ideal for multi-kid households. The cost per year is $60.
Khan Academy
Ages: 2 to 7
Why It’s Great: The Khan Academy Kids app is totally free. The videos help kids learn how to write their letters, do some basic math, boost social and emotional development, and they’re beautifully designed, with bright colors, and fun characters that make the lessons a little more fun. Unlike the regular Khan Academy channel, which provides lessons in chemistry, civics and advanced math, Khan Academy Kids is available on the iPad or iPhone only — which also means that parents don’t have to worry about their kids browsing YouTube unattended.
Scholastic
Ages: 3 to 14
Why It’s Great: Scholastic’s “Learn At Home” is a free resource that helps keep kids learning even through school closures. The available classes are simple enough that some kids can be able to do it on their own, but “Learn At Home” can also be utilized by teachers who are keeping curriculum going during school closures. There are plenty of activities for kids in pre-kindergarten and kindergarteners, as well as kids up to the 9th grade. But for young kids, there are read-alongs where kids can watch an animated story and read the book alongside it. For young kids, the lessons are divided into days: so on day one, kids can learn about rabbits, on day two, kids learn about pants by watching a story, reading a book, learning about plants, and brushing up on plant vocabulary. Day three, for example, is about life cycles of animals. Right now, there are five days of lessons on the site — and Scholastic promises to upload at least 15 more days of lessons.
Epic
Ages: 4 to 12
Why It’s Great: In light of the recent school closures, Epic, a virtual library and resource for teachers and students, decided to make remote student access completely free across the world until June 30th, 2020 through teacher invitation. Email your child’s teacher about it and they can sign up. Once this happens, kids can access the full Epic library on all devices. Kids can explore the library on their own, which features 40,000 books, but teachers can also take advantage of the platform by providing lessons, assigning books, and tracking reading activity and progress, too.
Reading and Story Time Classes
My StoryBook
Ages: All Ages
Why It’s Great: My StoryBook skews a bit older — a five or six year old will get a lot more out of the platform than a three-year-old, and still most likely with mom or dad’s help — but the resource is a fun creative tool for kids who like to write stories. Through the platform, kids get to take a writing lesson and build a virtual story book (with drawings!) which they can then share online for free (or pay money to get it made into an actual book.)
Storyline Online
Ages: 4 and up
Why It’s Great: Sometimes kids just need a break — and Storyline Online can help provide that. Storyline is a digital archive of book read-alongs by celebrities like Sean Astin, David Harbour, Chris Pratt, Sarah Silverman and more. Some of the books are a bit above the reading level of six year olds, but parents can assess the fitness of the texts on their own while enjoying the beautiful faces of their favorite celebrities.
Story Time From Space
Ages: 6 to 13
Why It’s Great: Got a kid who is obsessed with space? Got a kid who loves to read? Enter: Story Time in Space, a read-along series where astronauts read popular kids books on video. Story Time in Space features astronauts in wacky configurations in anti-gravity reading classics like “A Moon of My Own,” among dozens of other books.
KidLit
Ages: 5 to 18
Why It’s Great: KidLit TV has shows, radio, crafts and activities, book read-alongs for kids. Some of the TV shows include Storymakers, a talk show that highlights authors and illustrators, Read Out Loud, when the authors at KidLit TV do read-alongs, and Young at Art, where kids can learn art skills used in book illustrations. The radio show is a children’s literature podcast for kids — and is available on SoundCloud or iTunes.
Online Educational Games For Kids
Adventure Academy
Ages: 8 to 13
Why It’s Great: The key to getting kids excited about learning is by making it seem like it’s a game. That’s where Adventure Academy comes in. From the company that brought ABCmouse to younger kids, Adventure Academy is a series of games where 8- to 13-year-olds can learn Language Arts (reading comprehension, writing, and spelling), math, science, and social studies. It’s an immersive, virtual universe for kids and includes hundreds of hours of educational activities that frankly look a lot more like games than they do learning. The games also cover all subjects. Kids will learn about geometry, multiplication and division, reading comprehension, environments and ecosystems, molecules, maps, globes, geography, and more. Kids can also play with friends in a safe environment, create their own player home, and create their own avatar to go through the game universe as well as create player homes. It’s available on all platforms.
National Geographic Kids
Ages: 7 to 13
Why It’s Great: National Geographic Kids is free and chock-full of fun videos, games, and information about animals and nature. While it doesn’t fulfill any lessons or curriculum requirements or come with worksheets, it is the type of entertainment that is legitimately informative. Kids can view science explainers and experiments, watch people make “elephant toothpaste,” investigate rocks, and more. There’s a wide-variety of experiments to replicate at home — bottling eggs, coating candy, dropping dye in white paint and other school science fair stuff. But if being interactive or watching over your kid isn’t an option, there are still plenty of videos about the animal kingdom that kids can sit and watch.
Fun Brain
Ages: 3 to 8
Why It’s Great: Fun Brain features hundreds of free educational games, online books, and videos that help kids evolve their math, reading and problem-solving muscles.
PBS Kids
Ages: 2 to 7
Why It’s Great: Who doesn’t love public broadcasting? Through PBS Kids, kids can play games with their favorite characters like Daniel Tiger, Arthur, and Clifford the Big Red Dog. The content is more wholesome than it is educational. But it’s quality content made with kids in mind. Children can also print out activities, play games, and color their favorite characters.
Amazing Educational Resources
Ages: 4 to 12 grade
Why It’s Great: While this website is a more cut-and-dry form of education, it serves as a great, free resource to supplement subjects kids are learning in school. It curates hundreds of tutoring, video courses, and interactive lesson plans on a variety of topics so depending on your kids’ interest, and areas they may need more help, there’s sure to be something that fits there needs.
Online Art Classes For Kids
Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems
Ages: All Ages
Why It’s Great: Mo Willems, an artist in Brooklyn and the Kennedy Center’s first Education artist-in-residence, will lead a daily, free, online drawing session at 1 p.m. EST. All live lunch doodles can be found on the Kennedy Center website daily and previous lunch doodles are on YouTube. And, for the record, parents are totally welcome to join in.
Online Exercise Classes For Kids
Cosmic Kids Yoga
Ages: 3 and Up
Why It’s Great: Kids need exercise, and being potentially cooped up in an apartment for weeks at a time is not easy for parents or their kids. Cosmic Kids Yoga isn’t an educational course, but it does provide a much-needed activity break — think of it as a replacement for recess, if necessary — with characters, playfulness, music, and, of course, yoga. It’s free on YouTube. Moana, Harry Potter, and Frozen-themed yoga included.
GoNoodle
Ages: 5 to 10
Why It’s Great: GoNoodle is free — but parents need to create an account to access it. GoNoodle, created by child development experts, helps kids get moving and helps them practice social skills. Some videos include Flo Yo’s Bubble Pop, where kids wave their hands and move their body to free fish, another video includes kids clearing the weeds in a virtual garden by jumping and sweeping their arms. Basically, these animated videos provide incentives for kids to jump around and get some of that energy out while, of course, having fun.
Online Culture Classes For Kids
Virtual Museum, National Park, & Zoo Tours
Ages: All Ages
Why It’s Great: Many zoos, museums, and other public spaces are shutting down, limiting parents ability to take their kids to public spaces that they might if they didn’t have school. Luckily, many places like the San Diego Zoo, Yellowstone, the Louvre, and the Great Wall of China, for example, among others, have uploaded virtual tours of their spaces — meaning that kids can have fun, see new things, and feel like they’re in the real place. It also doesn’t require math lessons or worksheets. Kids can just check out cool spaces or watch animal cameras and be delighted.

Order of the Department of Education of the Yaroslavl Region dated April 30, 2021 No. 114/01-04 “On Approval of the Procedure for Submitting, Considering and Withdrawing Appeals during the GIA-9 in the Yaroslavl region”, Procedure for filing, consideration and withdrawal of appeals during the GIA-9 in the Yaroslavl region
points (15 Kb)
In order to protect the rights of exam participants during the GIA, a conflict commission (hereinafter referred to as the CC) is created, which is designed to resolve controversial issues not only in assessing the examination work, but also in compliance with the requirements of the GIA procedure.
A participant of the SEA has the right to appeal to the CC in writing:
about violation of the established procedure for conducting the Unified State Examination in the relevant academic subject;
about disagreement with the points.
The Conflict Committee does not consider appeals on:
the content and structure of examination materials in academic subjects;
related to the violation by the participants of GIA-9 of the requirements of the procedure for conducting the state final certification;
related to the performance of tasks of the examination paper with a short answer;
incorrect design of the examination paper.
Appeal for violation of the established procedure for conducting the GIA
The student submits an appeal about violation of the established procedure for conducting the GIA on the day of the exam in the relevant academic subject to an authorized representative of the SEC without leaving the PES.
In order to verify the information contained in the appeal about the violation of the established procedure for conducting the GIA, an authorized representative of the SEC organizes an audit with the participation of the organizers, technical specialists in working with the software, specialists in briefing and providing laboratory work not involved in the audience in which the exam was passed by the student, public observers, law enforcement officers, medical workers, as well as assistants providing the necessary technical assistance to students with disabilities.
The results of the audit are documented in the form of a conclusion. The appeal and the conclusion on the results of the audit are transmitted on the same day by the authorized representative of the SEC to the conflict commission.
When considering an appeal about a violation of the established procedure for conducting a State Examination, the conflict commission considers the appeal, a conclusion on the results of the audit and makes one of the following decisions:
to reject the appeal;
on the satisfaction of the appeal.
If the appeal is satisfied, the result of the exam, according to which the students filed an appeal, is canceled and the student is given the opportunity to take the exam in the relevant subject on another day, provided for by the GIA schedule.
An appeal of disagreement with the points given, including the results of rechecking the examination paper, is submitted by the SIA participants or their parents (legal representatives) on the basis of identity documents, within two working days following the official day of the announcement of the results of the SIA on corresponding academic subject, directly to the conflict commission or to the educational organization in which they were admitted to the GIA. The head of the educational organization, who accepted the appeal, sends it to the conflict commission within one working day after receiving it.
Students and their parents (legal representatives) are informed in advance of the time and place of appeals.
When considering an appeal about disagreement with the scores, the conflict committee requests from the RCOI printed images of the examination paper, electronic media containing files with digital audio recordings of the student’s oral answers, copies of the protocols for checking the examination paper by the subject committee and examination materials performed by the student who filed the appeal.
These materials are presented to the student (with his participation in the consideration of the appeal).
The student (for students under the age of 14 – in the presence of parents (legal representatives) confirms in writing that he has been presented with images of the examination paper he completed, files with a digital audio recording of his oral answer (if he participates in the consideration of the appeal)
Based on the results of consideration of the appeal of disagreement with the scores, the conflict committee decides to reject the appeal and retain the scores, or to satisfy the appeal and change the scores. Consideration of an appeal of disagreement with the points assigned is carried out within four working days following the day of its receipt by the conflict commission.0005
In case of detection of errors in the processing and (or) verification of the examination paper, the conflict committee sends the relevant information to the RCSI in order to recalculate the results of the State Examination.
After approval, the results of the GIA are transferred to educational organizations, local governments, foreign institutions and founders to familiarize students with their results.
Receiving and reviewing appeals
GIA Appeal
Acceptance and consideration of appeals
APPEALS
GIA participants have the right to file an appeal, both on the procedure for conducting exams, and on disagreement with the results obtained, to the conflict commission.
Conflict Commission:
accepts and considers appeals of students on violations of the established procedure for conducting the GIA, as well as on disagreement with the points given; makes a decision on the satisfaction or rejection of the student’s appeal based on the results of the consideration of the appeal;
informs the student who filed the appeal, and (or) his parents (legal representatives), as well as the SEC about the decision.
Appeals are not considered for:
the content and structure of examination materials for academic subjects;
related to the violation by the participants of the SIA of the requirements of the procedure for conducting the state final certification;
incorrect formatting of the examination paper.
The student submits an appeal about violation of the established procedure for conducting the GIA on the day of the exam in the relevant academic subject to an authorized representative of the SEC, without leaving the PES.
When considering an appeal about a violation of the established procedure for conducting a GIA, the conflict commission considers the appeal, a conclusion on the results of the audit and makes one of the decisions:
to dismiss the appeal;
on the appeal.
If the appeal is satisfied, the result of the exam, according to which the students filed an appeal, is canceled and the student is given the opportunity to take the exam in the corresponding academic subject on another day, provided for by the GIA schedule.
Students file an appeal about disagreement with the points set directly to the conflict commission or to the educational organization in which they were admitted to the GIA in the prescribed manner. The head of the educational organization, who accepted the appeal, immediately transfers it to the conflict commission.
An appeal of disagreement with the points given is filed within two working days from the date of the announcement of the results of the GIA in the corresponding academic subject.
Students and their parents (legal representatives) are informed in advance about the time and place of consideration of appeals.
When considering an appeal of disagreement with the points given, the conflict commission requests to the RCOI printed images of the examination paper, electronic media containing files with digital audio recordings of the student’s oral answers, copies of the protocols for checking the examination paper by the subject committee and examination materials performed by the student who filed the appeal.
These materials are presented to the student (with his participation in the consideration of the appeal).
The student (for students under the age of 14, in the presence of parents (legal representatives) confirms in writing that he has been presented with images of the examination paper he completed, files with a digital audio recording of his oral answer (if he participates in the consideration of the appeal).
In the event of disputable questions regarding the evaluation of the examination paper, the conflict committee invites to consideration the appeals of experts in the relevant academic subject who have not previously checked this examination paper.
If the experts do not give an unambiguous answer about the correctness of the evaluation of the student’s examination paper, the conflict committee applies to the Commission for the development of KIM for the relevant academic subject with a request for clarification on the content of the KIM tasks, according to the assessment criteria.
Based on the results of the consideration of the appeal on disagreement with the scores, the conflict committee decides to reject the appeal and retain the scores, or to satisfy the appeal and assign other scores.
In case of detection of errors in the processing and (or) verification of the examination paper, the conflict committee transmits the relevant information to the RCSC in order to recalculate the results of the State Examination.
After approval, the results of the GIA are transferred to educational organizations, local governments, foreign institutions and founders to familiarize students with the results they have received.

Well-known rock musicians joined the action of the “Children of BEL” foundation to find children with epidermolysis bullosa
MOSCOW.
Participants of the music festival “Dobrofest” supported the action of the Children of BEL Charitable Foundation – #FIND_YOUR_BUTTERFLY. The essence of the campaign is to search for children with epidermolysis bullosa in the regions of Russia in order to help them.
Children of BEL Charitable Foundation helps children with a rare genetic disease – epidermolysis bullosa. All over the world, such children are called “butterfly children”, because their skin is as vulnerable and fragile as the wing of a butterfly – even a gentle hug from their mother can hurt them.
According to statistics, there should be about 4,000 children with epidermolysis bullosa in Russia. To date, more than 250 people have applied to the Children of BEL Foundation. According to the foundation, many families in the regions where there are children with this disease are not yet aware of the existence of a charitable organization and do not receive assistance. The goal of the fund is to find as many “butterfly children” in the Russian Federation as possible and help them.
The action of the Find Your Butterfly Foundation, announced on February 28, the International Day of Patients with Rare Diseases, was joined by Russian rock bands – participants of the Dobrofest music festival. Among them are LOUNA (Lusine Gevorkyan), Anacondaz (Artem Khorev and Sergey Karamushkin), Cockroaches! (Dmitry “Sid” Spirin), “KniaZz” (Andrey “Prince” Knyazev), “Murakami” (Dilara Vagapova), LaScala (Anna Green).
The action was supported by the group “Murakami”
“If you are a normal healthy person, you cannot look indifferently and calmly at the suffering of people, and even more so of small children. When we were approached with such an initiative, we decided that if something depends on us, we must do it. We cannot help everyone who needs it, but if each of us takes on at least a part of those who need help and whose life through this help will become more joyful and comfortable, and pain will simply disappear from the life of a child, then maybe this way to a healthy society? We may not immediately raise a large amount of money, but we will help people learn about it, we will set a good example for our viewers, ”says Sergei Silushin, producer of the Dobrofest festival, Ridus reports.
LaScala vocalist Anna Grin
The fifth Dobrofest will take place from 27 to 29 June at the Levtsovo airfield near Yaroslavl. The festival plans to host visitors from more than 40 regions of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and far abroad.
In order to draw attention to their activities, representatives of the Children of BEL Foundation, together with the foundations Line of Life, Artist, HappyFamilies International, take part in the charity marathon Life in Motion – Kilimanjaro-2014. From June 21 to June 28, three children with physical disabilities (Alexander Shulchev, Alexander Pokhilko, Ivan Gorbatenko) climb the highest point in Africa – Kilimanjaro. The purpose of the action is to draw attention to charity in general and, in particular, to the activities of the funds participating in the action, as well as to raise funds for their wards.
Tour Castle Care and Rock of Cashel in Dublin

Russian
The duration of a one-way trip is about 200 kilometers.
The Rock of Cashel is the ancient residence of the kings of the province of Munster, built long before the Norman invasion. It is famous for the fact that St. Patrick first baptized the king of this province here, which is the reason for the appearance of many legends and parables that you will recognize on the spot.
During a visit to Ireland by Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, this place was included in a small list of places she visited in the country.
The Rock of Cashel is also famous for the fact that scenes from the movie “Excalibur” about King Arthur, his magic sword and the knights of the round table were filmed here.
The second place of our trip will be Castle Cayre, which is beautiful both outside and inside. It’s a castle straight out of the pages of a medieval history textbook. The feeling is that archers are about to flash from the gates of the castle or a spear will fly by!
To date, three non-Irish feature films have been filmed at Care Castle. These are the film “Danish Darkness”, a film about the legendary sword of King Arthur and the film “Barry Lyndon”, where the castle “played” the role of a German military camp.

When kids make a mistake, it can be hard for them to look past the frustration and see the rewards that lie ahead. One way to keep your child from getting discouraged is to remind him or her that some of the world’s most successful people made big mistakes. In fact, it’s important that kids learn that the only way to succeed is by failing (sometimes more than once!). These famous failures can help your child understand that failure is a common pitfall on the path to success.
Here are eight stories to share with your child about famous people who kept trying and learned from their failures:
Rihanna, the R&B superstar, has achieved phenomenal success in the music world but has had her share of struggles, too, including a childhood affected by her father’s addiction to crack cocaine. Rihanna’s view of mistakes is reflected in a tattoo, which reads “Never a failure, always a lesson.” She says it reflects her personal philosophy: “It’s kind of my motto in life for everything. Instead of considering things to be mistakes, consider them lessons.”
The Wright Brothers are known as the inventors of the airplane, but their big success came after lots of mistakes: The brothers built seven flying machines and crashed all of them more than once. (Fun fact: One of their early models would turn in the opposite direction they wanted it to!) But they learned from these setbacks. Each time they rebuilt an airplane, they were able to fix something that had gone wrong before.
Michael Jordan, a basketball legend, didn’t make the cut when he was a sophomore in high school. “It was embarrassing not making that team,” he said, but he used that failure to motivate him. “Whenever I was working out and got tired and figured I ought to stop, I’d close my eyes and see that list in the locker room without my name on it, and that usually got me going again.”
Abraham Lincoln, one of the most famous and accomplished U. S. presidents, experienced plenty of failures before he was elected to the nation’s highest office. When he was young, he opened a general store in Illinois, but the business failed and he had to declare bankruptcy. He also failed twice to get elected to the U.S. Senate.
Akio Morita and Masaru Ibuka were the cofounders of the Sony Corporation, the electronics giant that makes popular products like PlayStation. The Sony partners made plenty of mistakes with one of their first products: an electric rice cooker that burned the rice instead of cooking it.
Katie Couric was the first woman to anchor a U.S. network news program. Although she is a very successful journalist now, things didn’t look promising for her when she was younger. The president of CNN banned her from the air because of her high-pitched voice.
Babe Ruth is regarded as one of our greatest baseball players. He hit 714 home runs during his career, but he struck out even more: 1,330 times, to be exact. Ruth viewed his mistakes in a positive light, though: “Every strike brings me closer to the next home run.”

Famous Failures to Inspire Grit
Every parent wants success for their child. What many don’t know is what it takes to be successful. Talent and encouragement are both helpful, but ultimately, grit is the most important quality for success. A research study undertaken in partnership with classroom teachers by University of Pennsylvania psychologist Angela Duckworth showed that students became less frustrated with the learning process and put forth more effort when they understood even experts struggle to learn their craft.

Here are 10 numbers to remind your kids that even the most renowned geniuses and accomplished heroes of our time struggled— a lot. These famous failures show us that achievement happens not in spite of, but because of failure.
10:
9,000
Michael Jordan is considered to be the best basketball player in the history of the game, but did you know he’s also one of the most famous failures in the NBA? He has missed more than 9,000 shots in his career. He has also lost almost 300 games, 26 of which resulted from missing the winning shot.
And who can forget that he failed to make his high school basketball team? But for Jordan, failure is the recipe to his success: “I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
9:
5,126
James Dyson was frustrated with his Hoover vacuum and its loss of suction. So he had an idea to create the world’s first bagless vacuum cleaner. It took Dyson 5,126 attempts before finally getting it right. Even then, no distributor in the UK would take on the product, so Dyson ended up creating his own company to market the product.
Today, Dyson is worth $4.8 billion all because of his refusal to give up. His famous failures are an inspiration for aspiring engineers and entrepreneurs everywhere.
8:
1,330
During his career, Babe Ruth set the record for most home runs in a season with 714 home runs. The number to remember here, though, is 1,330. That’s how many times Ruth struck out. So for every home run he made, Ruth struck out about twice. He was successful a lot, but he failed even more. “Every strike brings me closer to my next home run,” the Great Bambino once said.
7:
1,200
Musicians know that concert performance—that unique experience with audience interaction—is critical to honing their craft. In 1960, the Beatles were still an unknown high school rock band. For the next four years, they frequented local clubs in Hamburg, Germany, playing and practicing sometimes eight hours a night seven days a week.
Advertisement – Continue Reading Below
When they burst onto the scene in 1964, they had played over 1,200 concerts together. This is an extraordinary number in such a short time considering most bands today don’t perform 1,200 times in their entire career. The Beatles were as good as they were because they literally outperformed most bands.
6:
1,000
Thomas Edison pretty much takes the cake when if comes to famous failures. As a young boy, teachers told him he was “too stupid to learn anything.” He got fired from his first two jobs. Even as an inventor, Edison didn’t seem to bear much fruit—not when he was starting out, at least.
Edison made more than 1,000 attempts before succeeding at inventing the first commercially viable light bulb. Throughout it all, he didn’t consider himself a failure. Edison believed that each failure brought him closer to success. To use his words, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. ”

12 famous people who failed but then went on to achieve worldwide success
12 famous people who failed before they succeeded were people who did not give up when faced with difficulties. These are people who stubbornly went to the goal. At one time they overcame their limits, made breakthroughs, and their names have become synonymous with success in their respective fields of science and work.
We all know these names. We have heard them many times. But most people don’t know what they failed at before they succeeded. The general notion of success in the arts, entertainment, or business does not take into account personal struggles. Everything we see is the epitome of that success, no matter how we look at it. nine0003
“Success consists in going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” – Winston Churchill
As you struggle day by day to realize your hopes and dreams, know: “If there is no struggle, there is no progress. ” Although Fredric Douglas made this statement over 150 years ago, this thought has been evident since time immemorial. Organisms, both small and large, have always fought for survival, fought for progress in all areas of life.

#1 – Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey
We all know Jim Carrey as the laughing comedian who gave us some of the highest grossing comedies of all time, like The Mask, Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura. But not everyone knows the history of Kerry’s struggle. He grew up in a low-income family with a father who struggled to keep his job. They were so poor that Jim had to leave school at the age of 15 and take a job as a janitor just to help the family.
During his first comic stand-up at Yuk Yuk’s in Toronto, he was booed on stage. Later when Carrey auditioned for Saturday Night Live in season 1980-81, he couldn’t get the part.
However, we are all aware of Kerry’s later success. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Carrey talks about how he used the law of attraction by writing himself a check for $10,000,000 million for “acting services rendered”, later placing the check in his wallet for 7 years until he received $10,000,000 million for his work in Dumb and dumber.
#2 – Katy Perry
Katy Perry
Most people know the name Katy Perry, but they don’t know the hardships she went through to make this breakthrough. Perry began her career as a teenager, dropping out of high school after her freshman year at 19.99 to take up singing. Initially, she was a church singer, taking an example from her parents, who were true Christians.
In 2001, Katy Perry released her first album of church songs with Red Hill Records, which was a commercial failure. After selling only 200 copies of her album, the record company went out of business and subsequently went bankrupt. After that, Perry switched to popular music, moving to Los Angeles to record with producer Glen Ballard. nine0003
In 2003, she signed with Island Def Jam, which was also terminated. In 2004, Katy signed with Columbia Records, which set out to make her the vocalist of a group called The Matrix. However, this deal also fell through when Columbia Records shelved the project, which was about 80% complete.
After her three-label failure, one would think Perry had given up. But this did not happen. She continued to pursue her career, taking odd jobs and singing backing until she signed with the newly formed Capitol Music Group in 2006. It was there that she worked on her first big hit single, I Kissed A Girl, which launched her commercially successful career. nine0003
№3 – Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey
The beginning of Oprah’s life was difficult. As the daughter of a low-income teenage mother, she led a far from glamorous lifestyle. Of her early years, Oprah reveals that not only were her living conditions harsh, she was also always sexually abused from the age of 9 by her cousin, uncle and family friend. At 14, Oprah became pregnant, but her son died shortly after birth.
However, at the age of 14, Oprah was sent to live with her father, Vernon, in Tennessee. He helped her focus on her studies, and she was subsequently accepted on a full scholarship to the University of Tennessee, majoring in communications. In high school and her first two years of college, Winfrey interned at a local radio station, helping to lay the foundation for a career in the media. nine0003
But even after Oprah was hired as a local TV news reporter, things didn’t go so smoothly. She was fired by the producer because she was “unsuitable for television”, she later took a position at another station in Baltimore. She eventually became the host of a local talk show called People Talk.
Later, in 1983, Winfrey moved to Chicago to host a low-rated talk show called AM Chicago. Within months, the show had skyrocketed from last place in the ratings, higher than Donahue’s number one show at the time. This led to the program being renamed The Oprah Winfrey Show, which was syndicated nationwide. nine0003
#4 – Jay-Z
Jay-Z
From an early age, Jay-Z felt the rhythm. But his meteoric rise to fame did not happen overnight. He faced several obstacles on the way to success. For example, in 1995, when Jay-Z tried relentlessly to get a contract, no label signed him. This prompted him to form his own record label, Roc-A-fella Records, with partners Damon Dash and Karim Biggs.
After being rejected by many labels and eventually starting his own record company, Jay-Z worked tirelessly to secure a distribution deal for his first album. He eventually landed a successful contract with Priority, later releasing his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, which went on to go platinum. nine0003
Jay-Z has had many setbacks along the way. These failures were not only at the beginning of his career, but it was at the beginning that he met the greatest resistance, which he overcame in order to succeed. Even in the prime of his career, Jay-Z was accused of allegedly punching someone at a record release party. He appeared in court without pleading guilty, but later pleaded guilty to a lesser crime, resulting in a three-year suspended sentence.
Given that Jay-Z appeared in a housing project in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in extreme poverty, he faced many setbacks and obstacles in his life. But he never gave up. No matter what happened to him, no matter what setbacks he faced, he pushed forward, grew as a person and matured to become a better person. nine0003
#5 – JK Rowling
JK Rowling
Rowling is one of the most inspiring success stories of our time. Many people simply know her as the woman who created Harry Potter. But most people do not know what preceded the achievement of fame. Rowling’s life has not been as sweet as peaches and cream. She fought desperately.
In 1990, Rowling first had an idea for a Harry Potter book. She stated that the idea “fully formed” in her head at one point while she was on the train from Manchester to London. She began to write furiously. However, later that year, her mother died after 10 years of complications from multiple sclerosis. nine0003
In 1992 she moved to Portugal to teach English, where she met a man, got married and had a daughter. In 1993 her marriage ended in divorce and she moved to Edinburgh, Scotland to be closer to her sister. At the time, she had three chapters of Harry Potter in her suitcase.
Rowling considered herself a failure at the time. She was unemployed, divorced, penniless and with a child in her arms. She suffered from bouts of depression, eventually signing up for public assistance. It was a difficult time in her life, but she overcame setbacks. nine0003
In 1995, all 12 major publishers rejected the Harry Potter script. But a year later, a small publishing house, Bloomsbury, accepted him and gave him a very small advance of £1,500. In 1997, the book was published in only 1000 copies, 500 of which were distributed to libraries.
In 1997 and 1998 the book won the Nestle Smarties Book Prize and the British Book Award for Children’s Book of the Year. After that, Rowling’s dizzying rise began. Today, Rowling has sold over 400 million copies of her books and is considered the most successful female author in the United Kingdom. nine0003
#6 – Stephen King
Stephen King
Stephen King is known for a large number of acclaimed novels, most of which have been made into films. However, Stephen King’s first novel, Carrie, was rejected 30 times before it was published.
Moreover, King threw the manuscript into the trash, which was later restored by his wife, who firmly believed in his dream of becoming a published author.
However, King’s early years were also not to be admired. As a child, his family barely made ends meet, and in his later years, as an English teacher, he worked part-time selling stories to magazines. nine0003
Today, King has over 50 novels and has sold over 350 million copies of his books. Can you imagine what King’s life would be like if he gave up? It is hard to imagine that such a successful author was once rejected so many times.
In his early years, King says, he pitched his stories to magazines from the age of 16 and hung rejection notices on a nail until they got so heavy that he had to replace the small nail with a large one.
#7 – Bill Gates
Bill Gates
Before starting Microsoft, Bill Gates failed in business. Known today as one of the richest men in the world, Bill Gates was from an upper-middle class family, a stark contrast to some other successful losers who didn’t have wealthy parents.
However, Bill Gates did not rely on his family. His business acumen was unparalleled. But his first case really failed. Traf-O-Data was the company of Gates, Paul Gilbert and Paul Allen. The goal of the business was to generate reports for road engineers from raw traffic data. nine0003
A company has had little success filing raw traffic data for revenue. But the machine they had built to process data failed when they tried to present it to a Seattle County Highway Officer. However, this business helped Gates and his partner Paul Allen achieve great success at Microsoft.
Although Gates failed in his first business, that didn’t stop him from trying again. He didn’t want to give up because the very idea of the business intrigued him. He managed to create a company that revolutionized the personal computer market. And we all know how successful it was for him. nine0003
#8 – Henry Ford
Henry Ford
Many people know Henry Ford from the Ford Motor Company, one of the most successful automobile companies of all time. What they don’t know, however, is that Ford failed twice and went bankrupt before successfully launching the current incarnation of his company.
Ford is no stranger to falling, but he also did not give up. However, when we think of Ford, we don’t think of failure, because once we succeeded, it eclipsed them. However, in 1899, at the age of 36, Ford founded his first company, the Detroit Automobile Company, with the support of the famous lumber baron William H. Murphy. This company went bankrupt.
His second attempt was in 1901, when he created the Henry Ford Company, from which he left, leaving the rights to his name. This company was later renamed Cadillac Automobile Company. However, Ford’s third foray was the Ford Motor Company, with which he hit the bull’s-eye.
What happened after, we all know. Ford revolutionized the automotive industry by not only creating the Model T and the assembly line, but also proving the need for a car in every home. Driving became an important “thing” and the Ford Model T subsequently sold over 17 million units. nine0003
#9 – Colonel Sanders
Colonel Sanders
People know him because of his iconic white suit and bow tie. Colonel Sanders was the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). However, the start of the extravagant Sanders turned out to be unsuccessful. In fact, it wasn’t until the age of 62 that he set out with a $105 Social Security check to pitch his chicken recipe to restaurants. People called him crazy, but he didn’t give up.
Sanders has worked many jobs including fireman, tire salesman, insurance agent and, of course, a cook. He invented his secret chicken recipe between 1939-1940, when he figured out how to pressurize a chicken faster to make it more flavorful. He was then 50 years old.
However, it wasn’t until 1952 that he got his start selling his chicken restaurant franchise. The first restaurant he got was in Salt Lake City, Utah, and became the first Kentucky Fried Chicken. The restaurant tripled its sales within a year, with 75% of that revenue coming from the colonel’s chicken.
The company grew and expanded faster than he could have imagined. At 19In 1964, at the age of 74, Sanders sold the company for $2 million to a group of investors led by Jack S. Massey and John Y. Brown, Jr. He retained the rights to the Canadian franchises and remained as a salaried goodwill ambassador for the company.
However, this clearly shows that no matter how old you are or how much money you have, you can always achieve something great.

We have all heard this name before. This famous American is credited with over 10,000 fruitless attempts to invent a commercially viable electric light bulb, but he didn’t give up. When a newspaper reporter asked if he felt like a failure and if he wanted to give up after 9000 failed attempts, Edison simply said, “Why should I feel like a failure? And why should I give up? Now I know for sure more than 9,000 ways that a light bulb won’t work. Success is almost in my hands.”
This is also the person who was said by teachers to be “too stupid to learn anything” and who was fired from his first two jobs for not being productive enough. However, Edison, thanks to his failures, is also the greatest innovator of all time since 1093 US patents to his name, along with several others in the UK and Canada. This is someone who refused to give up no matter what.
It is said that in early childhood he attributed his success to his mother, who took him out of school and began to teach herself. It was thanks to his mother, her unshakable faith in him, that he succeeded, not wanting to disappoint her. His early passion for chemical experiments and mechanical engineering paved the way for an incredibly bright future. His company GE is still one of the largest public companies in the world, constantly innovating in almost every area. nine0003
#11 – Walt Disney
Walt Disney
The man who influenced future generations with his cartoon creations was once considered a failure. Disney was fired by the editor in 1919 from his job at the Kansas City Star newspaper because he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” However, the man who gave us Mickey Mouse and many other characters did not end there.
Disney’s first steps in the business ended in bankruptcy when he acquired an animation studio called Laugh-O-Gram. The company was acquired because Disney cartoons were gaining popularity in the Kansas City area at the time. But when he hired employees, he couldn’t manage the money, and the business ended up in debt. He subsequently filed for bankruptcy and moved to Hollywood, California. nine0003
Disney’s first setbacks didn’t stop him from moving forward. Of course, like everyone else, the failures were a blow to Disney’s ego. Anyone who has experienced the pain of failure and bankruptcy knows what it feels like. However, it laid the foundation for a successful career. When he founded the Walt Disney Company, all of his past failures helped pave the way for a successful business.
Disney and his company have touched the lives of millions of people around the world. Cartoons, theme parks and animated films created for children and adults alike give them the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of Disney’s labors. If he had given up, things would have been different. But he survived, even despite the bankruptcy. nine0003
No. 12 – Sir James Dyson
Sir James Dyson
The world famous Dyson vacuum cleaner does not lose suction power. The idea of its development was born long ago. Dyson first had this idea in the early 1930s when he became frustrated with his Hoover vacuum cleaner because of the loss of suction power. At that time, the turnover of disposable vacuum cleaner bags was estimated at around £100 million per year.
His great idea was to use the concept of cyclonic separation to create the world’s first bagless vacuum cleaner. Dyson went through 5126 setbacks to finally get it right. When, at the age of 36, he did, he faced a lot of resistance when no distributor in the UK wanted to take on the revolutionary product. Nobody wanted to go against the trend. nine0003
So Dyson entered the Japanese market in 1983 with a hot pink version of his vacuum cleaner. She won an industry award in Japan, and in 1986, 3 years after first introducing his invention, he was awarded his first US patent for it. However, manufacturers were still reluctant to take it over, so Dyson formed his own company in 1993 at the age of 46 to market the product.
Today Dyson has over £3bn, all because of his refusal to give up. He went through hard times of failure, sadness and regret, but he got his way. nine0003
7 biggest failures – Anatomy of Business
5288 4/14/2014 Reading time: 6 min.
Every success is preceded by failure
As philosophers and thinkers say: “Our life is a series of failures and successes. The main thing is to be able to overcome all difficulties and move forward confidently.” We very often look up to famous people – businessmen, athletes, movie stars and show business. It seems that they have achieved everything without any problems, that their life is easy, carefree and successful. As a rule, now we see only the final result, but few people think about what really led to it, what problems and failures they had to go through. nine0003
The largest failures of famous people
1. Michael Giordan I am sure that even if you are not a basketball amateur, they never watched the games, and there were never a topic for games, and there more for the NBA, then you still know the name Michael Jordan. Jordan is something of an icon of the National Basketball Association in the United States, and he has been very instrumental in making the sport popular. nine0167 Michael won the NBA championship six times, won the Slam Dunks several times, was named the most valuable player in the league. But few people know that behind such a mountain of titles and achievements is one big failure that happened to Jordan as a child. Michael has always loved basketball, but was expelled from the team at school. Then the coach said that it was better for young Jordan to try himself in other sports, because this game is clearly not for him. Michael was very upset, and, as he later admitted, he cried for several days in his room. But faith in yourself, in your strength, did not let you give up, and now the whole world knows the legendary Michael Jordan. nine0003
2. The Beatles
The legendary Liverpool Four conquered the whole world with their hits. In the early 70s, everyone knew them, they occupied the highest places in the radio lines, their concerts were scheduled months in advance. The records were sold out in a matter of hours, and the autograph session caused a sensation among fans. Yes, we know a lot about the Beatles, their hits are still very popular, especially in modern processing. But few people know that at the beginning of their activities, just a few years before the world success, they received one refusal after another. One studio even gave an explanation for their refusal, writing that they did not like the sound of the Beatles, and they had no future in music. nine0003
3. Eminem You can write a whole book about this history, because its history is not only interesting, it is instructive, and may become an example for many. I advise everyone to watch the film “8 Mile”, in which you can learn more about Eminem’s life, about his path, about his difficult fate. You can understand how an ordinary white kid from Detroit could break out, become a world-class star, and even in the rap genre. nine0167 Eminem dropped out of school, was addicted to drugs, lived on the street, constantly struggled to survive, and even nearly committed suicide. This famous rap artist had such a difficult fate.
4. Steve Jobs The role of Steve Jobs in the development of the modern world is very difficult to overestimate. He was the founder and thought leader of one of the largest and most famous companies in the world. Apple products are now used by people in all corners of our planet, and developers do not cease to amaze every year with new and new gadgets. nine0003
We have written in more detail about Steve before, and those of you who read the last article will remember that at the age of 30, young Jobs was fired from the company he founded and brought to the world level. It is hard to even imagine such a thing, but the fact remains. Speaking to the graduates of Stanford University, Steve Jobs said that it was a very difficult time, and he even thought about asking for everything. But having gathered his will into a fist and all his strength together, he continued to work, and after a few years he regained his company, in parallel creating several more large and well-known corporations (including the cartoon giant Pixar)
5. Walt Disney
Probably each of you video Disney cartoons. They are colorful, interesting, lively. So, Walt Disney, the famous animator and founder of the Disney company, also faced many problems and failures in his youth. It was very difficult for him to find a job, because one day he was kicked out of a company with a very bad characteristic – “lack of imagination and lack of original ideas.” It was a spit in the soul of a young animator, and many would immediately give up. But Walt did not give up, but created his own company, where he was already the boss and could decide what and how to do without unnecessary advice. Who kicked out Disney there, what kind of company it was, now you can’t even remember, but children all over the world watch Disney cartoons. nine0003
6. Oprah Winfrey If you’ve read our article on Oprah Winfrey from The Rules of Business: Tips for Millionaires series, you know that she is one of the most famous and highly paid presenters in the world. In the US, her TV show is very popular, millions of women and men listen to Oprah’s advice and recommendations. But one day, when it was hard to say for sure, Winfrey was fired from television, and, as her boss explained, the reason was that she was “not a type and absolutely not suitable for TV.” nine0003
7. Albert Einstein Genius, nothing more to add. Like all geniuses, Albert was a little strange, and until the age of four he didn’t say anything at all. The doctors who examined the little one said that he was unlikely to be a smart boy. At school, Albert also did not stand out among his peers, but perhaps such secrecy helped him think more and talk less, develop thinking and fantasy, and not empty chatter. nine0003
That’s probably all I wanted to tell you. The next time you encounter difficulties, problems or failures, then remember these people, their life path, and understand that nothing is very simple, that in order to achieve high goals, you need to try very hard, overcome all kinds of life barriers.

Testimonial From a Parent
“My daughter, Luna, had five or six surgeries for her hip between birth and age two. When she started at KidStart at age three, she wasn’t walking. Two months into the program, they had her up and walking, and it was miraculous. She also wasn’t feeding herself. We got her to KidStart, and they have her using forks and spoons. Her progress is night and day from when she started here, and that was just a year ago. I don’t even want to imagine our world without KidStart.” Melissa Siewert

Will the Love Dance End So Suddenly?
Well, no. Morris and Connolly are up to something.
In fact, the January memorandum marked the beginning of a new era—an era of creative writing that Morris and Connolly had adopted while working on the Bulger and Flemmi dossiers. In fact, their reports were completely fabricated. Perhaps outwardly, Morris gave the impression of a businesslike, zealous campaigner: restraint, impassivity, slender build and thin-lipped face made him look like a bookworm, a zealous guardian of the rules, but under this guise a completely different person was hiding. Looking at successful upstarts like the cheap poseur Connolly or his white-haired predecessor Paul Rico, Morris felt stung, like a sports administrator jealous of the brilliant players who managed to break into the stars. Shortly after transferring to Boston at 19In 72, he even tried to prove that he was also not a badass.
Morris struggled with investigating a difficult loansharking case and didn’t get very far trying to win over a gangster named Eddie Miani. Having achieved nothing in private conversations, Morris, with two other agents, sneaked up to Miani’s house one night and climbed under his car. “It was a wire with a detonator cap,” Morris later said. “It looked like they were trying to attach an explosive device to the car.” Having done their job, the agents anonymously called the local police station and reported that some unknown people were spinning near Miani’s car. The police arrived at the scene, lifted Miani out of bed and showed him the defused bomb. Morris visited the gangster again the next day. “See, I told you your buddies are trying to kill you,” he said. – Don’t be stupid. Come better with us. The FBI is your only hope.”
Miani told the agent to get out, and the dirty trick with the bomb remained a mystery. But once breaking the law, Morris got a taste of permissiveness and over the years developed a certain “flexibility” in himself, so that by the time he stood at the head of the organized crime department, he and Connolly were already a match for each other. FBI document tampering seemed like an innocent prank compared to fake bombs, and after the horse racing fraud case, Connolly and his boss could easily concoct any fakes.
Thus, in 1978, Morris indicated in a memo that Bulger was no longer an FBI informant, but Whitey never found out about the alleged change in his status, and Connolly continued to meet with him as if nothing had happened. Moreover, Morris blatantly lied in a subsequent report, stating that Connolly had “cut off all contact” with the informant during the race fraud investigation. This was not true. Later, in the 1980s, a confidential collaboration with Flemmi was not officially maintained for three years. However, no one told Stevie about this, and in these three years Connolly compiled forty-six reports of conversations with a gangster allegedly crossed off the list of FBI informants. Other agents also took part in meetings with Flemmi at that time. None of the bureau’s management demanded explanations from Connolly or his colleagues on what basis they communicate with the informant, whose dossier is closed. Since the documents were in order, the current state of affairs suited everyone, and no one asked questions.
As for Morris, at that time he was much more interested in his own career aspirations than in any case of cheating at the races. The aspiring head of the Organized Crime Squad decided to have his subordinates develop a plan for an operation that no police department has yet managed to carry out: plant a bug in Gennaro Angiulo’s office in the North End. In the meantime, Morris was completely absorbed in other business.
It was about a series of truck robberies in New England. The joint operation, conducted by the Boston branch of the FBI and the Massachusetts State Police, was codenamed “Lobster”. Dozens of FBI and policemen took part in it. A key role in the operation was played by undercover FBI agent Nick Gianturko, an employee of the New York branch of the bureau, infiltrated into the gang under the name Nick Jarreau. He was recruited to minimize the chance that the agent would be recognized by one of the local gangsters. Gianturco was nominated by Connolly. The agents worked in the same department when John was serving in the Big Apple [A popular name for New York that originated in 191920s], and have remained friends ever since.
Gianturco settled in Boston’s Hyde Park neighborhood in a ten thousand square foot warehouse equipped with eavesdropping equipment and security cameras. The FBI and the state police rented a room in one of the neighboring houses, there was a “tracking center”, where they worked with video cameras and microphones. Just a few blocks from the warehouse, another rented apartment housed a command post.
Janturko started a relationship with a large gang of raiders in the middle of the 1977 years old, posing as a buyer of stolen goods. Many of the robbers hunted in Boston, in the Charlestown area. The assortment of the stolen items was astounding in variety. Items confiscated thanks to Gianturco included flour, liquor, shaving supplies, furniture, tool kits, beer, ski jackets, tracksuits and other clothing, construction equipment, cigarettes, coffee, and microwave ovens. Fifteen months later, in the fall of 1978, Gianturco’s bosses in Boston reported to FBI Headquarters that October 31 would be the end date for the operation. By that time, $2.6 million worth of stolen goods had been seized.
While Morris was running Operation Lobster, Connolly had meetings with Flemmi, and during one of the conversations, two separate cases suddenly merged. “I accidentally heard a rumor,” Flemmi said. – My friend said that he knows a certain fence who takes everything. Say, whole wagonloads of stolen goods are brought to this guy. My friends have been eyeing him for a long time – they thought to visit him, because he turns a lot of money. But they decided not to do anything yet – suddenly the huckster is connected with someone. So a friend of mine started talking to me about that guy. He asked to find out if anyone was covering for him. Because the guys are ready to act, but they don’t want to get into trouble.”
Flemmi later claimed that he had no idea at the time that the buyer was an undercover federal agent who was a close friend of his handler. Seriously alarmed for Gianturco, Connolly immediately telephoned him to warn him.
“Mr. Connolly found me at home,” Janturko later recalled. “He asked if I was going to meet the guys from Charlestown.”
Nick confirmed that he had indeed arranged a meeting with the bandits that evening at the warehouse.
“Connolly told me not to go,” he admitted. “Because those guys are planning to kill me. ” For Gianturco, exhausted by long months of work undercover, the news was a real shock. He was tired of living with an eye, being constantly on his guard, pretending to be Nick Jarreau, who bought stolen goods in Hyde Park, and at the same time remaining a federal agent, an exemplary family man, a caring husband and father. He did not go to the meeting, and in the future he repeated more than once that he was infinitely grateful to Connolly for the warning.
Connolly did not mention the incident in his report, nor did he notify the two FBI agents and police officers who ran Operation Lobster and were responsible for Nick Jarreau’s security. He reported everything to Morris, and the information received from Flemmi was distorted in the process of retelling, as in a child’s game of “broken phone”. The alleged extortion turned into a death threat. The more Connolly and Morris talked about what had happened, the more they exaggerated, painting a dramatic picture of a bloody nighttime battle that was averted by saving the life of a federal agent. This story very convincingly proved the importance of the tacit cooperation with Bulger and Flemmi. The “random rumour” relayed by the whistleblower is said to have hit the top ten, providing a solid argument for Connolly and Morris to do whatever they can to keep Bulger and Flemmi safe for the FBI.
Towards the end of 1978, clouds gathered over the heads of FBI agent Connolly and his boss, heralding a terrible storm – a race fraud trial. Instead of falling apart, a case built on the testimony of a key witness, Fatty Tony Chulla, gained momentum. Lately, Howie Winter and his gang have had to take a lot of blows, and Chulla got the most brutal. A state court found Winter guilty of extortion, he was serving time in a Massachusetts prison while Fat Tony spilled like a nightingale in front of a federal Grand Jury in Boston. However, before ending up in prison, Howie managed to visit the henchman of the mafia Gennaro Angiulo and borrow more than two hundred thousand dollars from him – the reason was a series of large losses at the races in New England.
The November 6, 1978 issue of Sports Illustrated featured an extensive article on Chulla and his life of crime. On the cover was a picture of a “racing master.” The magazine paid a new prosecution witness $10,000 for a lengthy interview that mentioned an investigation that was taking place in Boston at the time. In the meantime, Fat Tony was a key witness at a trial in Mount Holly, New Jersey, testifying against nine jockeys and coaches. The case before the local court was for him a kind of dress rehearsal for the approaching Boston trial.
John Connolly was worried about all this. But he was not concerned about the fate of Howie Winter, but the future of Bulger and Flemmi. In a sense, the New Jersey court did not pose an immediate threat to the Boston gangsters. At the trial, charges were dealt with only against jockeys. But Chulla’s participation in the hearings in New Jersey greatly complicated the life of Connolly and his “wards”. Testifying against jockeys, Chulla first told the general public about how the horse racing fraud scheme works. While Connolly juggled Flemmi’s testimony, which may have helped save undercover agent Nick Gianturco from big trouble, Fat Tony presented the court with a detailed account of the balance of power in the machinations that brought the Boston gangsters millions of dollars. At some point, Chulla was asked to name his accomplices in Boston. At first, he feigned hesitation, withstood a long pause, like an actor before a key monologue.
– Your Honor, I named them when I testified before a federal grand jury. I do not know if I have the right to repeat them here, at an open hearing.
The judge was not impressed by Fat Tony’s moral anguish.
“You are here now,” he protested, ordering Chulla to name his main associates in Boston.
There was nowhere to retreat, and this time Chulla didn’t hesitate.
“Friends with whom we worked together,” he began. “One of them is named Howie Winter. The other is John Martorano, M-a-r-t-o-r-a-n-o. There was also Whitey Bulger. And Stephen Flemmi.
As 1978 draws to a close, the federal investigation of horse racing fraud enters its final phase, and prosecutors prepare to indict the suspects. John Connolly and John Morris decided they had to do something, although Chulla’s out-of-state sworn testimony made things more difficult by narrowing the space for undercover games.
First of all, Connolly and Morris had a secret meeting with Bulger. The meeting was informal. About the subsequent joint meeting on January 1979 years federal agents also did not mention either in the reports or in the memos. Connolly and Morris visited Bulger at his South Boston apartment to discuss the case built on Chulla’s testimony. “We thought we were about to be charged,” Flemmi later said of those hectic January days.
Bulger took a firm stand, declaring that he and Flemmi had nothing to do with horse racing shenanigans: Chulla was tricky. The accusation went on about a liar.
Bulger’s assurances did not come as a surprise to federal agents, there was nothing new or original in them. Persons involved in crime always insist on their innocence. Morris could have played it safe and tough by insisting that Bulger and Flemmi give affidavits. This would present the FBI in a better light. If further evidence emerged that Bulger had lied, the informers would have been brought to trial, at the very least, on charges of perjury.
But Morris wasn’t about to send Bulger and Flemmi into that meat grinder. “I didn’t even think of such a thing,” he later admitted. “Bulger was tender veal tenderloin, not rough beef neck, which is good only for minced meat.” Morris and Connolly fully approved of Whitey’s position – his word against Chulla’s – and promised to look into the matter, securing a meeting with the state’s attorney general, Jeremiah T. O’Sullivan.
Upon hearing that the agents would intercede for him, Bulger visibly cheered up. He immediately assured Flemmi that they would be helped out. “John Connolly said that they would get us off the hook and it wouldn’t come to charges. ” His words sounded like heavenly music to Stevie.
A couple of days later, Morris and Connolly left their downtown office at the John F. Kennedy Federal Building and walked a few blocks to the courthouse, the John W. McCormack Tower in Post Office Square where the State Attorney General’s office was located on the top floor. O’Sullivan was not at all pleased to have to discuss such a question when the game was already in full swing. The ambitious prosecutor, still a bachelor in his mid-40s, devoted most of his time to work. Many lawyers who faced him in court considered him a hypocrite and a fanatic, but for his colleagues in the prosecutor’s office, he was an implacable fighter against crime, however, overly demanding and completely devoid of a sense of humor. He grew up in a small house in the suburbs of Cambridge, graduated from Boston College and then Georgetown Law School, and resolutely made his way, thinning out the ranks of local criminal gangs, striving for his main goal – the eradication of the cosa nostra.
By the time Morris and Connolly arrived at his office, the prosecution was putting the finishing touches on the horse racing fraud case. Bulger and Flemmi were indeed in danger of arrest, as were two dozen other defendants. The investigation, which took two years, came to an end, the prosecutor’s office was preparing to bring charges against the suspects, only a few days remained until the treasured hour. Federal agents picked a bad time to ask for a favor.
Morris and Connolly had no idea how big the threat was – what Chulla said about Bulger and Flemmi. But O’Sullivan knew. During lengthy discussions with Agent Tom Daley in Sacramento, California, before his Grand Jury appearance and later in federal court hearings, Chulla was very consistent and persuasive. He detailed how Winter and six of his main associates—John and James Martorano, James Bulger, Stephen Flemmi, Joseph McDonald, and James Sims—shared the proceeds. “Half of the income went to Howard Winter and his six henchmen, whom I have already named. A quarter went to me and the remaining twenty-five percent to my accomplice, William Barnosky. Chulla also spoke about how the responsibilities were distributed: “Mr Winter said that he and his partners would provide finance and take care of the betting in underground bookmakers. They will send their people to the hippodromes in different parts of the country. Collecting money from bookmakers will also be on them.”
Worst of all, Chulla bluntly stated that Bulger and Flemmi played an important role in the criminal scheme. “I could press them against my fingernail,” he claimed. Bulger and Flemmi weren’t pumped up with booze and cocaine along with Chulla and the rest of the gangsters – parties were held without them, but when it came to business, these two were always there. “Have we ever had fun together? Relax after a hard day? Going to Southey together? No,” Chulla explained, referring to Bulger. “But he and Stevie always got money.”
O’Sullivan’s visit was a pure scam: the agents could not discuss the Bulger case with the prosecutor’s office without FBI Headquarters approval. In addition, information about the identity of the informer was kept in the strictest confidence, divulging it even to the prosecutor was a gross violation of the rules of the bureau. But that didn’t stop Morris and Connolly. They told O’Sullivan about the agreement with Bulger and Flemmi, violating the source’s guarantee of anonymity.
“We went to the prosecutor and said that our guys denied any involvement in the fraud,” Morris later admitted. “First of all, they have nothing to do with it.”
Not least, the agents touched on a topic dear to the heart of a zealous guardian of the law. Knowing what could interest the prosecutor, they mentioned Gennaro Angiulo. “We explained to O’Sullivan that these guys have great potential. They help to solve our main task – to reach the mafia. The agents asked the prosecutor to take these facts into account and not to hold Bulger and Flemmi accountable.
The prosecutor did not ask why the FBI people had such a strong confidence in the innocence of their wards – whether they took the gangsters at their word or conducted an investigation confirming Bulger and Flemmi’s innocence in the machinations at the races. Morris knew that O’Sullivan had to be sure that the hearing would not come up with unexpected facts that could destroy his whole work. The position of the prosecution was based on the testimony of a key witness. Fat Tony’s trust was decisive in court, and Bulger and Flemmi were about to declare him a liar. Put your word against Chulla’s.
O’Sullivan was rather annoyed that the agents delayed their visit for so long, but he carefully listened to their arguments and promised to inform them of his decision as soon as possible. “He said he would think it over,” Morris later recalled. “The prosecutor was sympathetic to our proposal, but wanted to discuss it with Tom Daly, who was in charge of the case.”
Morris and Connolly left O’Sullivan reassured. This has happened before. FBI informants have been able to avoid criminal prosecution in exchange for certain services in the future – and such a practice is quite justified, because in the end justice wins. In fact, hoping to bargain for an indulgence for their informants, the agents were betting on their most important trump card. They tried to convince O’Sullivan that the gangsters were of undoubted value to the prosecutor’s office, since they could help form charges against Gennaro Angiulo himself. In addition, Bulger and Flemmi were not the main defendants in the race fraud case. Howie Winter was considered the main defendant. In his machinations, FBI informants were assigned a secondary role – an ideal position for tacit cooperation with the bureau. No one prevented O’Sullivan from doing his duty, ruthlessly destroying the Winter Hill gang, he was only required to spare the two lieutenants of the Winter Guard, to allow them to get out from under the rubble.

The waifu factor. Review of the mobile shooter Goddess of Victory: Nikke
A new mobile thriller from Korean developers has quickly gained a million audience. In just one week, the project was installed on smartphones 10 million times, and the ratings of the game in mobile marketplaces are surprising in a good way. Do not rush to attribute this success to beautiful waifu, that is, anime girls. The game catches with well-tuned gameplay, albeit exciting only for a short time.
Fairy capitalism. Overview of Potionomics

Yes! Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord review
There is a type of game that takes up all your free time. It seems that he sat down in the evening, for a couple of hours, to drive the knights around the screen, as you find yourself with disheveled hair on your head and lips bitten from nerves in the middle of a castle siege. That’s what Bannerlord is all about – and it’s the most unique game of 2022 that has no equal.

Kindergartens of compensatory type. The official portal of the Administration of the city of Omsk
Kindergartens of a compensating type
Budgetary preschool educational institution of the city of Omsk “Kindergarten No. 52 of a compensating type”
The New Year is approaching, followed by the January holidays. But what if you work even during the holiday week, and there is no one to leave the child with? As a rule, duty groups are opened in kindergartens during the holidays. Will they work this year? E1.RU was told about this by the vice-mayor of Yekaterinburg. nine0003
“It should be taken into account that the incidence is high and kindergartens are usually closed on weekends,” explained Ekaterina Sibirtseva. – Nevertheless, for the children of mobilized citizens, for defense industry workers, we opened duty groups.
Basically kindergartens will be closed, teachers will have a day off, – the official added.
Recall that until January 1, 2024, sanitary and epidemiological requirements apply in kindergartens in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection. This means that all parents will not be allowed to attend the holidays. There are also restrictions for holding matinees. nine0003
— Nevertheless, if the situation in the kindergarten is calm, if few children are ill and there are no groups closed for quarantine, then we, of course, will invite parents. But we will ask them to wear masks,” Ekaterina Sibirtseva explained. – If there are quarantine groups, then we will hold a holiday, record it on video and send it to parents. Or we will invite one representative from the group to do it on his own.
We talked about whether New Year’s parties will be canceled in schools and kindergartens because of the new metapneumovirus. They also found the most expensive costume for a children’s party. You will be surprised which character you will have to pay the most for. nine0003

20 great women that any man should follow as an example
To tell you about all the great women in the history of mankind, we would not have enough life, but here’s who you should definitely pay attention to.
Grigor Grigoryan
1.
Sappho
Despite the fact that most of the works of the ancient Greek poetess are irretrievably lost, even those fragments that have come down to us are enough to understand the scope of her talent. The girl lived on the island of Lesvos, sang odes to love for the female sex and became one of the founders of European literature. In addition, now you know where the common word “lesbian” came from. nine0003
2. Cleopatra
The last queen of Egypt, about whom, it seems, as many films have already been made as no other woman in history has been made about. Cleopatra lived only about 38 years, but there are legends about her deeds (especially about novels with Mark Antony and Julius Caesar). After the defeat that her troops suffered in the battle with the Romans, the queen, not wanting to surrender, committed suicide in order to preserve her honor.
3. Jeanne d’Arc
How many women commanding troops do you know? Joan of Arc led an army into battle to save her people and died with dignity, without betraying her ideals. Every man should learn this kind of patience. nine0003
4. Catherine II
Do you know when Crimea became ours? Not at all under Putin, but even under Catherine II, who, moreover, successfully won victories in wars, corresponded with French philosophers, adored coffee and often changed lovers. It seems that the Empress knew something about life that we do not even suspect.
5. Isadora Duncan
Founder of modern dance who turned the whole world of Western art upside down. I read Nietzsche, lived with Sergei Yesenin and strove to create a “new man”. In a way, she succeeded. nine0003
6. Maria Skłodowska-Curie
Maria is not only the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize, but also the first person to receive it twice (think twice!). Remember that name the next time you complain that you can’t move up the corporate ladder.
7. Coco Chanel
Modernized women’s fashion, dressed the most famous women of her era and destroyed gender stereotypes. Popular perfumes are nothing compared to this.
8. Sofya Kovalevskaya
The world’s first female professor of mathematics, and this at a time when girls were forbidden to study at universities in Russia. In order to get abroad and continue her studies, Sophia organized herself a fictitious marriage. It’s called purposefulness.
9. Eleanor Roosevelt
To call Eleanor an ordinary first lady would be blasphemous. She spent four terms in the White House with her husband Franklin Delano Roosevelt, longer than anyone else, and in fact was the second president of the country. No wonder the film “Eleanor: First Lady of the World” was shot about her. nine0003
10. Golda Meir
It is impossible not to respect women like Golda. A patriot of her country, who devoted her whole life to its development. The second woman in the world is the prime minister who ruled Israel in one of the most difficult periods of its history, during the Yom Kippur War.
11.
Nina Simon
One of the greatest performers of the 20th century. Even if you have not heard her name, you have definitely heard her work: sensual, full of personal experiences, sung on an anguish in a low, hoarse voice. Artists with such charisma can be counted on the fingers. nine0003
12. Margaret Thatcher
Do you know which British Prime Minister of the 20th century ruled the country the longest? No, not Churchill at all, but Margaret Thatcher. Rigid and adamant, next to her, any man seemed an insignificant insect. So she also won the war with Argentina over the Falkland Islands.
13. Indira Gandhi
Indira has nothing to do with Mahatma Gandhi, but another Indian prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, was her father. However, this does not mean at all that Indira was a spoiled girl from a wealthy family. She brought India out of sheer poverty and forced the whole world to reckon with herself. Many disliked her for this, but great people always have haters. nine0003
14. Anna Akhmatova
There are not many people of Akhmatova’s caliber in Russian literature of the 20th century. A recognized classic during her lifetime, even being persecuted by the Soviet authorities, she continued to write and hone her skills.
15. Frida Kahlo
An artist who, together with her husband Diego Rivera, made Mexican art interesting to the whole world. Her paintings are a wild mixture of local folklore, heartfelt experiences and demonic temperament.
16. Madeleine Albright
First female US Secretary of State. Her trademark large brooch has become a symbol of a tough and uncompromising policy.
17. Valentina Tereshkova
Valentina is the first woman to reach space. And the only one who did it alone. Do you need more explanation?
18. Maya Plisetskaya
Ballet legend, experimenter and world superstar. Plisetskaya has significantly raised the bar for ballerinas around the world and has always had full houses wherever she goes on tour. nine0003

When Serena is on the court, she dominates and dominates, she is a tank in human form. We are sure that any professional tennis player, even a male, will tremble when faced with her with a racket in his hand. nine0003

Interesting Facts
Women in history
In his book “Women Who Changed the World”, written in collaboration with Serafima Chebotar, Vitaly Vulf drew attention to famous creative personalities. It describes the fate of great women who made the world stylish, spectacular, brought charisma and endless talent to it. There was a place for tragedy and triumph in their lives, and they influenced the fate of hundreds and thousands of people. nine0003
The legendary women from our selection became famous all over the world primarily because they believed in themselves and their ideas. They were not afraid of stereotypes and took confident steps where no woman’s foot had yet set foot. They achieved a lot, made revolutionary discoveries in the field of science and fought for their rights. It will take more than one lifetime to write a story about everyone. But we will at least start with these thirty famous names.
1. Malala Yousafzai
Perhaps if there were only 10 women who changed the world on our list, this young Pakistani would still be on it. The girl became famous all over the planet at the age of 11 thanks to her blog. In it, she spoke about the atrocities of the Taliban, who captured the village where Malala lived. The girl wrote about how the Taliban forbid women to get an education, do not recognize their universal human rights and freedoms. A year later, the militants identified the author of the blog and shot Malala in a city bus, seriously injuring her and several other people in the head. The girl miraculously survived, was transported to the UK and was awarded the National Pakistani Youth Peace Prize. nine0003

At 16, Malala was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, making her the youngest recipient ever. And this is not her only award for social activities. In 2021, she celebrated her 24th birthday with significant success, performed at the UN Headquarters in New York and opened schools for girls in Lebanon. And we understand why Malala has already gone down in history as a great woman who changed the world. nine0003
2. Irena Sendler
A doctor from Warsaw became not only a national heroine of Poland, but also a woman who changed the very history of the world. During World War II, she worked in the Warsaw ghetto, where she cared for sick children. Babies were given sleeping pills, placed in small boxes with holes to prevent them from suffocating, and taken out in trucks that delivered disinfectants to the camp. Some children were taken out through the cellars of houses directly adjacent to the ghetto. Was used for escapes and drain hatches. Other children were carried out in bags, baskets, cardboard boxes. nine0003
Risking her life, she kept a list of the rescued, and after the victory over fascism, she tracked down almost everyone to make sure their life went well. In 1965, the Israeli Holocaust Museum Yad Vashem awarded Irena Sendler the title of Righteous Among the Nations. Often the stories of women who changed the world become the plots for films. In 2009, the film “The Braveheart of Irena Sendler” was released about the feat of one of the key figures of the Resistance.

Interestingly, Marie Skłodowska-Curie is also the only woman to win two Nobel Prizes, whose daughter also received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry as well as her mother.
