What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Rancho Penasquitos KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
We’ve been with KinderCare since Daniel was only two-and-a-half months old. He is turning four-years-old soon and enjoys being in Preschool. We can’t imagine going to another school because he gets the best care and learning experience here. We learned as well, as new parents how to change diapers, potty train, read and play with our son with the help and advice from KinderCare staff. Thank you!
Jennifer A. – KinderCare Parent
My daughter started at KinderCare when she was only eight weeks old. She is reaching all her milestones thanks to the great care and curriculum at KinderCare. The teachers here are really awesome!
Tricia D. – KinderCare Parent
Our son has been attending the Rancho Pen KinderCare for one-and-a-half years now and we have nothing but praise for the center. The administration and teachers are amazing and have had such a huge impact on Alex’s development. He surprises us every day with the new things that he learns at the center. We know that choosing between daycare and nannies is a big and difficult decision that all parents face, but we honestly have had no regrets of sending our precious son to KinderCare. We now know that it was the best decision that we made and would not go anywhere else. In fact our new son, Kellan, will soon be joining his big brother at KinderCare.
Elizabeth L. – KinderCare Parent

We are glad to meet you on the pages of the website of the municipal budgetary preschool educational institution “Kindergarten of general development type No. 153″ of the Samara city district. With great pleasure we will tell you about what we do and what we strive for.
Our kindergarten has two buildings. The first building has been operating since November 1993, the second building opened its doors for children on September 2, 2014. The kindergarten operates in the 12-hour stay mode. To provide educational services, the institution employs highly qualified specialists: educators, psychologists, speech therapists, speech pathologists, music directors, and physical education instructors. The teaching staff strives to do everything to make children feel comfortable within the walls of our kindergarten.
The material base of the institution makes it possible to provide quality educational services. A modern developmental environment has been created in the group rooms, in each building there is an office of a teacher-psychologist, a speech therapist, a sensory room with soft modules, a fiber-optic shower, an air-bubble column, a development studio, a ROBO-traction design bureau, a medical unit (office nurse, procedural, isolation wards), the catering unit is equipped with modern technology.

Every week, we will center group discussions and activities around various topics that inspire awareness of ourselves, others, and the world around us. These concepts can be explored through art, mindfulness, group discussions, experiments, reading, hands on learning, investigation, and so much more!
EXPLORATION OF OURSELVES
Discovery and understanding of our bodies, interest, moods, and feelings.
Embracing responsibility and safety.
Identifying growth, abilities/talents, changes, and challenges.
Developing self-concept, self-confidence, self-compassion, and self-awareness.
EXPLORATION OF OTHERS
Discovery and understanding of family units, friends, classmates, neighbors, friendships/relationships, diversity, abilities, cultures, traditions/holidays, and animals.
Embracing and valuing diversity in all forms.
EXPLORATION OF ENVIRONMENT
Discovery and understanding of community (classroom, neighborhood, country, world).
Relationships and our connections to each other.
Exploring of our connection to nature and all that surrounds us.
Impermanence and changes in seasons, life cycles, weather, etc.
Awareness of the space we occupy.
When we say “Mindfulness” we are really saying “creating awareness”. More specifically, the awareness of what is happening inside and outside our bodies and accepting it as it is. When we implement this practice in a child’s day to day, we are giving them the tools for self-expression, self-help, confidence, and communication.
Some ways we practice Mindfulness in class:
Daily check-ins to access our current feelings.
Exploring ourselves, others, and the world around us through hands-on observation, group discussions, art, and creative play.
Observing the natural changes that occur around us.
We are so lucky to have Fauntleroy Park in our backyard and the beaches of Lincoln Park just minutes away!
Although we get to be outside daily, for once a week our students will spend their whole morning out of the classroom and in nature! We will have nature based lessons and activities, mindfulness practices, games, and so much exploring!
The program aims to promote a connection to the natural world, a love and appreciation for our parks and beaches, and inspire a sense of stewardship and responsibility for our environment.
*Our younger classes participate as well, but at shorter times due to age and toileting needs.

I believe children should have fun! After all, even the experts agree that preschool age children learn most through play. These carefree years are so short, and soon the children will be exposed to a much more structured form of learning. During the month, many activities take place which help promote basic skills (letter & number recognition, color & shape recognition, large motor skills, small motor skills, etc.)….

Hazelwood Roy
Hazelwood Roy
(Robert Roy Hazelwood) (born 1938) –
famous American specialist in
field of criminal psychology.
Vice President of the Academic Group,
Uniting Veterans Division
FBI Behavioral Sciences.
He is considered the best specialist in
areas of investigation into abductions and
sexual crimes.
For thirty years of work in the police
authorities and the FBI, he revealed more
two hundred complicated cases related to
pedophilia and kidnapping.
R. Hazelwood is one of the “pioneers”
criminal profiling. My
activities in this direction
started in the 70s when the FBI was
established the Department of Behavioral Sciences.
In 1980 Hazelwood developed
typology of serial killers. This
the concept is widely used
law enforcement agencies for
search and arrest of criminals.
She classifies serial killers into
two categories: organized
non-social criminal and
disorganized antisocial
criminal.
At
recognition of typological
accessories of the installed
serial killer is important to consider
that the behavior of organized
criminals compared to
disorganized in place
incidents has significant
differences. Organized (by style)
life) a person, organized and
crime style. And vice versa,
disorganization in life
manifests itself in disorganization
crimes.
Organized non-social
the offender carefully prepares his
crime, he attaches great
the importance of erasing traces
crimes. For these purposes,
for example, committing a murder in one
place, he can move the corpse to
another place. Unlike him
disorganized criminal
attacks the victim suddenly, not
planning ahead or very poorly
planning a crime. Spontaneity
and the suddenness of the attack leads to
that at the crime scene
many traces remain.
Hazelwood designed and
appropriate interrogation tactics
criminals depending on their
typologies.
Large
attention in his works Hazelwood
focused on prevention and
disclosure of sexual crimes.
They were offered psychological
classification of types of rapists,
studied psychological characteristics
and behavioral styles of serial
rapists.
Im also
symptoms have been described
autoerotic fatalities,
that can help the investigator
recognize and describe such cases
even when someone tries
“disguise” circumstances
of death.
First
half of the 80s, Hazelwood became
the first FBI officer who openly
called pedophiles criminals, not
sick people. “Today this
hard to believe, but another 20 years
back thousands of american
human rights defenders sought the right to
treatment for men accused of
rape of young children
remembers Hazelwood. – I was not afraid
openly say that pedophiles
should be sentenced to death
execution, for which I repeatedly
called an executioner and even a fascist.”
Exactly to Hazelwood
belongs to the catchphrase,
transformed over time into
popular aphorism: “In our
society has no cure
pedophiles and sex maniacs.
Even if you find it, it
will be called either gas
camera or electric chair.
After leaving in 1993 for
resignation, R. Hazelwood continued
deal with the problems of
sexual crimes, closely
cooperating with the FBI and others
law enforcement
various countries of the world, advising
cases to investigate such
crimes.
At the end
90s he leads
capture task force
serial killer Dennis Rader
nickname BTK (from the words bind, torture
and kill, that is, “tie, torture,
kill”). This maniac and a half
decades terrified the inhabitants
Kansas town of Wichita. He was catching
attractive girls chained
them to the bed, after which he poked
victims’ eyes, pulled out nails,
raped and killed. one of his
Raider victims tortured throughout
two long months.
“That was the most
complex investigation in my
career,” Hazelwood recalls. –
Many of my colleagues could not stand
that psychological stress
which was required to calculate
maniac. In total we
arrested several hundred
suspects, but subsequently
each of them was recognized
innocent. At times I wanted
cordon off the whole city and check
every adult male
lie detector.
According to the official
version, Dennis Rader killed ten
women, but the investigation believes
that the total number of victims of a maniac –
at least thirty. And the first
the offender committed the murder
way back in 1974.
Hazelwood could not
catch the Raider yourself,
however, it was he who prepared the mass
documents and collected evidence that
helped in 2005 to disarm
maniac. “After retirement
I began to suffer terrible headaches
pain and insomnia,” Roy admits.
– I felt guilty about
that he didn’t catch the serial killer.
Every day I waited for a message from
colleagues that the number of victims
increased in Wichita. I am so
closed in on himself that he began to see
maniac in every person who
met me on the street.
The raider was detained in February 2005
years, and Roy Hazelwood found out about it
one of the first. He personally called
FBI Director Robert Mueller. “It was
the happiest day of my life,
Roy admits. – When I heard
that VTK was arrested, he closed his eyes and
I thought that now I can
die with a clear conscience…
His research papers in psychology
sadists and pedophiles are in demand and
used to train young
FBI agents

Australia: CFMEU secures fair transition for workers at Hazelwood power plant
In November 2016, multinational energy company Engie announced that the coal-fired power plant and adjacent mine will be closed on 31 March 2017 and hundreds of jobs will be made redundant . The CFMEU entered into discussions with the Latrobe Valley power plant management and the Victorian government, which resulted in a partnership-based transfer scheme for Latrobe Valley workers.
The agreement contains commitments to minimize job losses and retrain workers, as well as a provision for an early retirement system that will free up jobs for those who want to continue working in the industry.
Older workers who work at the Loi Yang power plant and mine located in the same area will be asked to retire early. This will create jobs for young workers at the Hazelwood power plant. ” This will keep families, jobs and, by extension, money in Latrobe Valley. Employment support will be provided to at least 150 Hazelwood workers.
CFMEU National President and IndustriALL Global Union Executive Committee member Tony Maher called the scheme, which includes commitment from Latrobe Valley power management, unions and the Victorian government, a “breakthrough in best practice”.
“This partnership provides support to workers, their families and the wider Latrobe Valley community as the Hazelwood power plant closes,” he said.
“It guarantees a fair transition for workers, their families and local residents. Tonight, hundreds of workers who will be directly affected by the power plant closure will breathe a sigh of relief at the commitment made to the future of their families.”
The Hazelwood power plant and mine are located in Latrobe Valley, Victoria, 150 km east of Melbourne. The property is jointly owned by Engie (72%) and Mitsui (28%). The French company Engie, formerly known as GDF Suez, entered into a global framework agreement in 2012 with IndustriALL and the international federations PSI and BWI.

My son started going to Kokopelli at the beginning if this years Pre-K program and i was so concerned with him adjusting to a new school being in a different school prior to Seymour. He comes home DAILY tellingme all the new things he’s learned and explaining activities and trying to re-show me arts & crafts so we can do them together at home. They update the school app almost every day with pictures that come straight to my phone that just makes my days without him a little easier to get through. They are so very understanding, always and each and every single one of them so kindly reiterate to me daily the progress my son is making which just lets me know his readiness for kindergarten! If you’re second guessing if Kokopelli is the right choice, the answer is yes :)…

From September 1, 2023, preschool institutions will start working according to the new federal educational program for preschool education – FOP DO.
The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation approved the Federal Educational Program for Preschool Education. The corresponding order is published on the official portal of legal information.
The purpose of the Federal Educational Program is the versatile development of a preschool child based on the spiritual and moral values of the Russian people, historical and national cultural traditions.
The federal program makes it possible to implement three main functions of preschool education. This is the upbringing of a child as a citizen of Russia, the formation of the foundations of civil and cultural identity of preschoolers; the creation of a common core of the content of preschool education based on the spiritual and moral values of the Russian people, the upbringing of the younger generation as knowing and respecting the history and culture of their family, large and small Motherland; as well as the creation of a unified educational space for the education and upbringing of children from birth to the admission of children to a general education organization, regardless of their place of residence.
For all kindergartens on the territory of the Russian Federation, the following will become mandatory: volume, content, planned results of the mandatory part of the educational program implemented by the kindergarten. FOP will be the basis for the development of the educational program of the kindergarten. Kindergartens retain the right to develop their own programs, but their content and planned results must not be lower than in the FOP!

To Apply for a Criminal Background Check
Effective April 15, 2012, the FBI moved to an all-electronic criminal background check (CBC) application process and is no longer accepting hard-copy fingerprint cards. Because the Maryland Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) follows FBI guidelines, the use of hard-copy CBC applications at the State level are also being phased out as of that date. Instead, all CBC applicants are being encouraged to submit their applications electronically. However, hard-copy applications are still being accepted by CJIS if electronic submission is not possible. Click here for a list of State-approved private electronic fingerprinting services and State-operated electronic fingerprinting locations. Electronic applications may also be submitted through many State and local police agencies. Child care programs that have their own State-certified electronic fingerprinting equipment and operators may continue to submit CBC applications. When submitting your CBC request, you must include the appropriate OCC Regional Office authorization number.
Online Licensing Inspection Results
Visit the Office of Child Care’s online child care licensing inspection results site – www.CheckCCMD.org! The site offers detailed compliance findings from child care licensing inspections conducted since January 2011. The site may also be used to find licensed child care programs and providers, and to link to a wide variety of information about early care and education in Maryland.
To File a Complaint
If you believe a particular child care program is in violation of State child care licensing laws or regulations, you may file an official complaint against that program. To file a complaint, contact the Regional Licensing Office covering the county where the program is located. Complaints may be filed in person, or by telephone, or in writing by e-mail, fax, or letter. Anonymous complaints are accepted, so complainants do not need to identify themselves. Each complaint is investigated by the Regional Licensing Office. Upon completion of the investigation, a report of findings is created. This report is available upon request if the investigation confirms that the violation occurred, or if it cannot be determined whether or not the violation occurred.

Finally, parents also appreciate the smaller class sizes and the personal attention their child will receive at a Christian school. Others prefer big schools because they offer more extracurricular activities and opportunities to meet other families.

experts told how to help a teenager choose a profession
These are different strategies
“When choosing a specialty, parents sometimes have different strategies,” says Oksana Bobrysheva, a career guidance specialist for children and older people. – The first is “Choose yourself.” Like, here’s a year for you, think about it, decide, and then come to your senses and talk. Such a strategy injects the child into the most terrible frustration, he faces the agony of choice, but the parents are completely open to this very choice of the child. More sympathetic parents adhere to a different strategy: they go together with the child to universities, go through different specialties with him. These two options are the most environmentally friendly.
However, there are other strategies to eat. Approximately, to eat parents, which carefully know that now, for example, IT specialists are in demand, and, although the child does not want this, they decide for him, without taking into account his views. And sometimes in this case, the teenager himself does not insist on something to his friend, considering: “The parent is an adult – he knows better.”
The fourth option is dynastic history. Children from dynastic surnames either chatter: “Everything is predetermined for me” – and act according to the parental track, or operate in opposition: “You were all teachers, and I will be a designer. ”
Each parent chooses his own way of participating in the child’s choice of specialty, but which one is more important and which one is more dangerous? The stories of our heroes will tell about this.
I didn’t listen to my parents
Marina from Sevastopol is a successful photographer who shoots weddings and makes photo shoots all over the world. And who could have thought that in high school, Marina did not even see what profession to choose. As a result, the choice fell on the Institute of Physical Education, where she enrolled.
— I was already a student when I got interested in the card, — says Marina. – My uncle from the Far East, who has been fond of cards all his life, came to our city. He talked about his hobby so incendiary and enthusiastically that I thought: “Why don’t I try it too?” I signed up for a photography course, but I didn’t have a professional camera. I asked my dad to lend money for a DSLR, but he refused. He said: “I won’t give you such nonsense, it’s all not serious. ”
Marina found pennies, completed courses, started filming, and took orders. It turned out that she had talent, she won a professional competition for the most important photo work, gradually tumbled into the top of the most important photographers in her region.
— I remember when I was still a student and my mother and I visited her aunt, she chatted to her about my interest with a card: “Lyuda, advise your daughter against these nonsense. The girl needs a stable, capital craft. Let him graduate from high school and act as a physical education teacher at school. There will never be a job without work.”
Marina did not listen to anyone. Now she earns well, took an apartment and is simply cloudless, because she knows that the card is her vocation and fate. Marina was lucky with her temper, but not everyone can resist their parents.
Lost times
Ekaterina from Cheboksary was a creative girl in her childhood. She flooded, danced, she liked collective work. However, the parents decided otherwise: “Let at least someone in our family have the longest education. You should enroll in a university and study to be a lawyer or an economist.”
— Whatever I do creatively — whether it be dancing, needlework, singing — my parents invariably handed me to comprehend that it was nonsense, and reduced my interest to the level of a hobby. From this, I myself lost faith, did not take these matters seriously, – Katya confesses.
She actually graduated from the university with a degree in finance and credit. I worked hard at the bank, in financial brunches. And she constantly felt that it was not hers, sad, uninteresting.
– Just after marriage, I took the risk of changing my profession. My husband supported me and said: “Choose whatever you want,” Katya recalls. – And then I started to run from one to another: hairdressing courses, landscape design, photography … And now, you see, I’m 34 years old, and just now I finally comprehended my vocation. Because I enjoy hanging out with people, I run social media and work hard as a coach. Now, years later, I understand how much time I lost, listening to my parents then and spending countless years studying in a hateful specialty and working in a hateful specialty. But I could decide even in high school, and then I would have done it much more quickly, because in those years I painfully smartly understood: mine or not mine.
Ekaterina has two tiny children, and she is sure that she will not repeat her parents’ mistake.
— The peasant and I decided that we would give the children absolute freedom of choice. Do you want to become a hairdresser?
“A parent can seriously hinder a child by his assertive attitude to choosing a specialty without taking into account his characteristics,” Simona Filimonova, a psychologist and specialist in working with adolescents, chatters. – Every person is individual. And even if the reprimand speaks of a family dynasty, then the family thing is suitable for someone, and the pipes are for someone. Yeah, if the child grows up in a creative sphere – approximately, in a family of artists, musicians or artists, he is more likely to follow in the footsteps of his parents, but even in such cases it happens that the child cannot or does not want to fit into these narrow rules.
Pouring pilot
Musical theater artist, participant of the Voice. Children ”- the track record of 19-year-old Artem could be continued. Musician parents could not even think that somehow their ten-year-old son impeccably confesses his great love for aviation. The big ones listened to him attentively, comprehended and met his decision.
– We met, but not in one gulp! – specifies Artem’s mother, vocal teacher Julia. – To his dream, Artem performed for a long time, from the age of five. Once we brought our son to the Sheremetyevo airport, from where the take-offs and landings of airplanes could be seen. From this, everything arose: this spectacle lured the kid so much that he asked to enroll him in an aeromodelling circle. Farther away, closer: Artyom yearned to feel himself in the pilot’s seat. However, for this, after all, a drop of one desire. This includes intensive training, physical activity, and excellent knowledge in the field of physics, mathematics and English.
Arena and different musical projects took countless time. There was a drop of time left to prepare for admission to an aviation educational institution. And then Artem met a difficult decision to quit music and the arena and devote himself entirely to the act.
– He passed the exams brilliantly, physical standards – too. However, the chairman of the study committee was stunned by the creative track record of the applicant, which he ran through, – Yulia chats. – Artyom sang, and on the next day, the entire Krasnokutsk flight school was already aware of him.
— What if it happened?
– When the son passed all the standards on the field at the flight school (after which, incidentally, countless guys were weeded out painfully), the person who accepted these standards said to him: “So you showed that in “Voice. Children” participated, but can you sing something right now? And the son, right there, on the field, gave out “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. Everyone around clapped.
Now Artem is completing the initial course of KKLUGA and is already flying. The craft of a particular aviation pilot sounds great and proud, but behind this lies an exalted responsibility, stress resistance, and absolute knowledge in the field of technology.
“Artyom tells us that the learning process is difficult, but painfully entertaining,” says his mother. — By the way, at the school, a painfully active creative being: concerts, competitions. Recently, he took part in a music festival in Ulyanovsk, where students from aviation universities and colleges from all over performed – pilots, air traffic controllers … blow on weekends, the guy answers with the words from the famous song: “Because, because we are pilots! ..”
Artyom’s case is definitely a liquid one. Parents-musicians enrolled prudently, and as a result, the brainchild was realized in one gulp in two zones. However, much thicker, the big ones forcibly force the child to follow in their footsteps, thereby destroying their fate. Or simply impose their own picture of the world on them. But the realities are absolutely not the same as they were even one generation ago.
Artem grew up as a singer, and eventually became an aviator. Photo from the family archive Do no harm
“Relationships between children and parents are changing,” explains Alexander Asmolov, Doctor of Psychology, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education. – Parents sometimes yearn for their children to achieve what they failed to achieve – this complex now also depicts the moment that leads to risky decisions. Meanwhile, the infant subculture rather than the adult subculture is increasingly involved in the choice of children and adolescents. They focus on what is primarily valuable to their peers. The children chatter: “You have never lived in this world. As if you can make us?
As if the expert explains, one of the hardest problems of parents is “university centrism”. For some reason, the big ones revere that after school their child must certainly be enrolled in the longest educational institution. However, as Asmolov notes (and many colleagues agree with him), it is possible to realize and succeed even after a mediocre special education, and this format is now very proclaimed in the world.
— It may turn out so much that it is more important for a child to go to college than to an institute — according to the abilities and even the desire of the child himself, — psychologist Simona Filimonova explains. “And it might be more promising for the kid in the future. I know cases when parents insisted: “To the institute – and that’s it!”. A teenager is now simply not capable. Maybe in a few years he will go to university and be successful there, but not now. And such assertiveness can harm – shoving a child into a university, where he will be uninteresting, antipathetic, difficult.
Lack of fearlessness
At times the problem lies within the adolescent himself. To find the profession of a dream is a drop – it is still majestic to believe that everything will work out for you, and to own fearlessness.
— A year ago I worked hard with a girl from the Stavropol region. She was in an irrelevant prostration, did not know where to perform, – says Oksana Bobrysheva. “We explored her interests, her big sides, and solidified her visions of herself. And along the way, she had countless insights. It’s like she’s brainy. She has exalted results in her studies, but for some reason she always found that some of her girlfriends were brainier, and she was “average”. In addition, it turned out that she loves to smear fictional characters, non-existent people, unequal images. She took them out, showed me – excellent drawings, while I saw that her energy was changing. So we have come to our senses to the specialty of an illustrator associated with the creation of video games. It was like one at the junction of her interests. Because she loves games too. However, here is her environment … Approximately, her woman was a merchandiser, and in the concept of a grandmother, compiled back in the 70-80s of the last century, a merchandiser is a painfully important and prestigious craft, because it is access to products … In general, energy girls are the craft of an illustrator, and beingness is a merchandiser, a “good profession”. At the same time, she admitted that when she enters a university, she does not want to leave her family, and universities that would teach illustrators in their region are a pipe – it is necessary to go to Rostov or Krasnodar, for which she is not ready. That to eat the craft is actually in the palm of your hand, it ignites a person, and he chatters: “As if I would leave my family, my parents?” In this case, I chat that “career guidance is broken.” Now, as I know, this girl is concentrating on entering an economic university to study management. However, this does not mean that something did not work out. You drew a vector for a child, beingness is different, but the vector is changing, we will all be on the way. Probably, belatedly, she will come to her senses to her vocation.
Another story told by Oksana is even more characteristic. The high school student is a sports champion, her entire home is from this area, and from early childhood she was taken to training, aiming at the sport of sublime achievements itself.
“All existence was proclaimed around this, and at the age of 15–16 she began to turn away from sports,” says Oksana Bobrysheva. – This girl was open to any sports university, but she realized that she wanted to study as a psychologist. And then the exam in biology gets in her way, which is inevitable for entering such a university. She chatters: “I won’t give up.” All the tare-bars-rasta-bars, on the pretext that “you have a year to eat, you can prepare,” did not support. In the concept of a child, preparing for an exam in biology is not a difficult task, but a super-difficult one. Then she closed this path to herself to eat. Now Ira is a student of a sports university.
— In your opinion, was it realistic to prepare for the year?
— Quite! If you find an important tutor and study… However, there must also be a willingness of parents to invest. That is to eat pennies, the support of parents and the time of the child, which for this it is necessary to release to the detriment of sports. In this case, of course, she would have given it away! Especially since, with all the minuses of the Unified State Examination, he has a big plus – the rules are set there, there are no surprises on your way. The monolithic state exam equalized everyone, the atmosphere is draughty. I remember this situation because, having mastered the times and her head on her shoulders, the girl herself narrowed her boundaries. Owning a choice, she would have stayed with him in a year, and maybe even expanded her number of options.
Thought it out? Fine!
Experts point out that one of the mistakes parents make when looking at the child’s future is that they perceive any of his first desires as if they were one. Meanwhile, any person, and even more so a teenager, has the absolute left to change his decision. Even if parental pennies are spent or, as they say now, “investments” in the child.
Since the age of five, Sonya has been nailing to her parents that she will be a doctor. Dudki, she, of course, also went to dances and music, but she decided on a specialty in one gulp. In the fifth grade, she enrolled in a prestigious gymnasium in a specialized medical class.
The girl raved about medicine: in utilitarian affairs she skillfully got on with dressings, measured blood pressure at home, brought only “five” in biology. Parents, grandparents proudly said: “Come on, there will be a doctor in the family.” After the eighth grade – the latest success: Sonya passed the selection for free summer courses at the medical university. She went to work in the heat through all of Moscow, in the evenings with ecstasy she told her family what they had been taught. And in the coffin of summer she announced: “I don’t want to be a doctor. ” The parents were shocked. Grandma and grandpa fainted.
“The fact that medicine is not mine, I realized that I had just come to my senses for the courses and plunged into this environment with my head,” Sonya explains to MK. – It was painfully entertaining for me there, but as if I saw the flaming cataracts of my groupmates, I comprehended everything in one gulp. Medicine is everything for them, they live by it. And I’m a dick. I am also fond of music and generally idolize being in sight.
Sonya confessed that if she had two lives, she would certainly give one of them to medicine. However, not one. So in the ninth grade, the girl faced the capital problem: where to speak now?
“I started attending extra social studies because it felt like the most homely thing,” Sonya says. — Politics, laws, relationships between people — it turned out to be entertaining. My mother is a journalist, she advised me to recite the sites for which she skates. She said: “Maybe you’re hungry to work hard in the media. ” I began to recite, and then I was terribly interested in crime essays, articles about lawsuits and incidents. And I realized that I wanted to be a criminal defense lawyer. And to speak to the public to eat the opportunity, and to hang out with people, yeah, and this is a little connected with medicine, because the defenders are found with forensic experts and doctors. And I’m already preparing for a law school! – Sonya narrates with flaming burkalas.
Newly minted realities
— Newly minted times have now come to their senses. According to analysts’ forecasts, 50% of the specialties that will exist in 10 years are still unknown to us, explains psychologist Yevgeny Levin. – Approximately, at the beginning of the 2000s, we did not know who such a targetologist or crypto expert was. At the same time, some specialties that are now fashionable will lose their relevance. Yeah, and the rhythm of life itself has become somewhat more brisk, the planning horizon has narrowed, and the schemes of the older generations, according to which we are used to living, do not work hard. It is no longer possible to say to a child: “Choose such and such a profession – and it will bring you a stable comfortable life.” Working hard as an official is not a guarantee of stability, and working as a lawyer or teacher is no different. Many, incidentally, now see stability in the remote and freelance format, when you are not dependent on a particular employer. However, again, here it is necessary to take into account the psychotype of the child. Not every person can work hard at home, where there are a lot of distractions and, on the other hand, eat the risk of retreating into workaholism when they ask you to be in touch 24 hours a day and your proletarian devay stretches for the same amount. Some people absolutely need to be in a huge team, and from nine to six – this mobilizes them and keeps them in a constant tone.
– As if this predisposition can be found by a parent?
– It just hurts. Observe what games your child prefers to play and what to do in general. If, for example, he idolizes smearing, then if it’s easier for him to get along? Alone with himself, so that no one distracts, or in the art studio, to which he runs with joy, in order to draw and talk with the guys? It is also worth paying attention to like a kid with self-organization. Approximately, to eat children, which by nature painfully adhere to the introduced rules and order. I woke up, made a bunk, brushed my teeth and went to perform in toys. For this, a kid of a different system needs constant monitoring and reminders from the elders.
Going to university with mom
How would you support a child in choosing a profession?
“Expanding his horizon and giving him the opportunity to try himself in different areas from preschool age,” explains Simona Filimonova. – In the older year, you can visit some universities together, a high school student can go to the university himself and find out everything. But to feel yourself within the walls of a university, to look at the schedule, to communicate with students is a great age. Plus – wanderings, joint discussions, the study of unequal sites. However, it is necessary to help, without insisting and without pressing!
Why else is it necessary to help a child decide on a specialty, and not leave him all alone with a stressful choice? Yeah, because he simply may not see some nuances and pitfalls.
— One 10-grader chatted to me: “I would want to connect my life with the support of people or animals — weak, unhappy.” However, in the process of communication, we found out that she had a painfully elevated component of aesthetic perception, Simona says. “With him, she won’t be able to deal with homeless people or sick people. She had never thought about it, and when she realized it, she was surprised.
— What does it mean — “a component of aesthetic perception”?
– When a teenager chats “I want to be a philanthropist”, he probably really has been helping dogs and cats in a shelter for several years – he buys food, comes and strokes them. However, if his aesthetic component is too elevated, he will not be able to clean up after the same animal poop. Meanwhile, you must be fully aware that if you enter this area as if it were a profession, then you will have to get along, including black work. It’s the same with homeless people. In this matter, carnal support is needed: to feed, wash, and so on. Even the heads of foundations are faced with this Palestinian work, there is no way to avoid it.
— And what did this girl decide?
– She still has a year ahead of her before she becomes a PR manager. In general, this is important when a teenager has already decided on what he wants, and it remains only to combine his desire with opportunities. Now, incidentally, the professional spectrum has spread, there are not so many intelligible specialties. Multitasking is not the same.
Thrifty: charlatans
The subject whom dad baffled with the statement “Choose a university yourself”, lives in Moscow, there are countless offices that help with career guidance. To such a “specialist” and sent his school teacher. The boy filled out the tests for two hours, after which the computer printed out the answer for him: “Suitable specialties: nurse, nurse – 70%, police officer – 40%, veterinarian – 40%”.
“They told me about the veterinarian, probably because I showed that I idolize dogs,” the teenager says. – Why my vocation is a nurse – I did not comprehend at all. From the fact that I idolize being with people and showing sympathy? In any case, all that was offered to me was more leftover than I would have wanted to do.
Both psychologists and professionals involved in career guidance admit that now the market for these services is filled with charlatans and dilettantes, and it is difficult to find an important specialist. Dilapidated career guidance tests are no longer being injected, and it is generally impossible to find a child’s predisposition to one or another specialty by just one test. This process is delicate, extensive and absolute.
– Eat, approximately, Klimov’s group “man-nature-man”, and according to this systematization, ecologist and veterinarian are specialties that both look at the sphere of “human-nature”, Simona Filimonova says. “However, ecologist and veterinarian – these are not the same educational institutions, regardless of the different specialties. Or, it is permissible, what kind of career guidance event can show that both an ecologist and a veterinarian are suitable for this teenager, and if the “human” sphere is also necessary, and there will be added, approximately, the specialties of a hairdresser, teacher and secretary – then, naturally, in a bowler hat with a child porridge will appear. And it will come out: send them to orient themselves, but in the end they got confused.
Or, approximately, according to a different systematization, a lawyer and a culturologist – apparently absolutely different specialties – are brought together by the fact that they are “humanitarian”. For their representatives, there can be one and the same set of intellectual and personal indicators: goodwill, the ability to establish contact, diplomacy, a sweeping horizon, the ability to highlight the majestic and so far away. And for the specialties of an economist and a programmer, the ability for physical and mathematical sciences is equally majestic. So testing can show several specialties – like an economist, a programmer, and something else. And for the teenager who came to his senses, passed the tests and received this leaflet, there will be even more uncertainty. Career guidance is more profound, as if one is visited for the diagnosis of abilities – intellectual, characterological, personal and, perhaps, even carnal. As a result, the output is not even a craft, but a course or a list of some objects that the child is recommended to explore.
Children are in the most difficult situation
— In the situation of ever-greater challenges in the world, complexities, uncertainties and diversity, orientations in the future are also changing, — says Professor Asmolov. – In this regard, the classic career guidance schemes, which are now eaten, do not work hard. These are disaster risk schemes for both children and parents. When I think about it, I recall in one gulp the candidate’s dissertation, which lay on my desk in the Soviet years.

FAQ | Cozi Family Organizer
Account
How can I access my Cozi account?
Once you create a Cozi account, you can access it securely from any computer at my.cozi.com, or from your mobile devices via the Cozi iOS and Android apps. Just click on Sign In, and enter the email address you added to your account, along with the password you created. Note: You and any other family members you add to your account will sign in using your own included email addresses and the one shared password.
Should I add a different email address for each person in my account?
Yes, when you create your Cozi account, please add the names and email addresses for each person you’d like to include. Each person would then be able to sign in using their own included email address and the shared account password. Note: If more than one person signs into an account using the same email address, reminders and appointment notifications won’t be delivered correctly, so please add a unique address for each person.
Which platforms and browsers can I use to access Cozi?
Cozi should work well on PCs or Macs. Recommended browsers include current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari. The Cozi iOS app requires iOS8 or higher, and the Cozi Android app requires version 4.4 or higher.
How do I include other people in my Cozi account?
With Cozi, everyone in your family (up to a maximum of 12) can use one account and sign into the account from any computer at my. cozi.com or from any or mobile devices they use. To add family members, sign into your account from Cozi on the web or from your Cozi mobile app, click Settings, and add names and email addresses. Once you enter names and email addresses for your family members, they will be able to access the account by signing in with their own email address and the shared password. Note: Once you’ve added family members, please let them know the email address you added for them, and let them know to sign in using that address. If they click on Sign Up instead of Sign In, and use a different address, they will accidentally create a separate account.
Does everyone in my account have access to all account data?
Cozi is designed to be a fully shared account between all included family members, so everyone you include in your account with an email address will have full access to view/add/edit/delete any data in your account. Cozi does not offer a restricted access option that would allow you to include people in your account but restrict their access to data in the account.
How do I change my password?
You could reset your password using the Forgot Password link on the sign in page, or you could go to our password reset page. You will then receive an email from [email protected] which includes a link to complete your password reset. If you don’t receive the email within 10 minutes, please check the junk or spam folder. If you still don’t see the password reset email, please contact Cozi customer support at https://my.cozi.com/contact-us/. Please change your password soon after you get the email from Cozi, as the reset link expires after 7 days and you’ll need to repeat the process. Once you create a new password, other members of the account will be notified by email that the password has been changed. Cozi passwords should be between at least 8 digits long and include a lower-case letter, an upper-case letter, and a number. Cozi passwords are case-sensitive.
Calendar, Notifications, and Reminders
How do I enter appointments in Cozi?
From Cozi on the web, sign in at my. cozi.com, click on Calendar, click the blue plus icon. Next, click Create an event and enter the relevant appointment information. If you are a Cozi Gold subscriber, you can add an event from the Calendar month-view, click on the day of the event and add relevant appointment information. From a desktop, you can use the mini-month calendar to advance to a start date (make sure you are looking at Agenda view and not Upcoming view) and click on the date and create an event.
How will my appointment reminders be delivered?
Appointment reminders can be delivered by device notifications to iOS or Android devices, and/or via email. If a family member has the iOS or Android app installed and has device notifications turned on (the default), reminders will be sent by device notification. To receive Cozi reminders by device notifications, a person must have the Cozi app downloaded, be signed in using their own included email address, and authorize device notifications from Cozi. To receive Cozi reminders by email, a person would need to have an email address in the account and have the email delivery option turned on in the Cozi account settings. Note: A person must have a valid delivery method set up to be selected as a recipient of Cozi reminders. Just checking the delivery boxes for device notifications and emails won’t enable delivery unless the person has an email address in the account, and has device notifications enabled for Cozi.
How do I set up agenda e-mails?
Cozi offers daily and weekly agenda emails. To turn on daily and/or weekly agenda emails from your Cozi mobile app, go to the account settings page, tap on the name of the family member and check the boxes for daily and/or weekly agenda emails. To turn on daily and/or weekly agenda emails from the web version of Cozi, click on Settings in the left-side menu, click on Email notifications and choose daily and/or weekly agenda emails for each person. Note: To try to ensure that your email provider delivers your requested emails from Cozi, please add Cozi as an authorized contact/sender, with the address [email protected].
How do I set up appointment reminders?
To set up appointment reminders, please use the appointment dialog box to enter your appointments, click on Remind, and select the timing of your reminder. It’s possible to set one reminder per attendee per appointment in the free version of Cozi, and it’s possible to set up to three reminders per attendee per appointment in the Gold version of Cozi. To add reminders to an existing appointment, please click on the appointment to open it, and then add your reminder(s).
Can I receive reminders for appointments if I’m not added as an attendee?
Only appointment attendees can receive appointment reminders. If you would like to receive reminders for appointments for your other family members, you would need to add yourself as an attendee.
Can I use Cozi with my existing calendar program?
Yes, Cozi can be used with other popular calendar programs, such as Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar. Here’s how to set up a read-only feed of appointments to or from Cozi.
Family Setup
I can’t add my family member’s email address.
If you are trying to add a family member’s email address but you receive the message that the address is already in an account, it’s possible that the family member is already included in a different Cozi account or inadvertently created a separate Cozi account before you were able to add him to your account. In this case, please contact Cozi customer support for help with resolving this problem. In your message, please let us know the email address you use in your Cozi account and the email address you’re trying to add to the account.
My family members are receiving my reminders by mistake.
If your family members are receiving your reminders, please ask them to open the Cozi app on their devices, click on Settings in the app, and confirm which family member is selected as the Device User. The person selected should be the person who is using that device.
My family members can’t see the data I’m adding to the account, and I can’t see their data.
If you and your family members are not seeing each other’s data, it’s possible that you’re accessing separate accounts, rather than the same account. To resolve this, please contact Cozi customer support, and please provide any email addresses that you and your family members are using in Cozi. To confirm the email address you’re using in your Cozi app, please open the app, click on Settings and tap on your name. Please ask your family members to do the same, and provide all information to Cozi customer support to help you to resolve this problem.
Cozi Apps
I just got a new device, but don’t see my data in my new app.
If you downloaded the Cozi app to your new device but don’t see your expected data, it’s possible that you created a new account rather than signing into your existing account. This could happen if you click on Sign Up rather than Sign In, and if you then enter a different email address than the one included in your original account. To resolve this, please contact Cozi customer support. In your message, please include all possible email addresses you may have used in your original Cozi account, and please confirm the email address you’re currently using to sign in by opening the app and tapping on your name.
I’m having trouble with my Cozi app.
Many app issues can be resolved by deleting and reinstalling the app. This process won’t negatively impact your Cozi data, since it’s stored on our secure servers rather than just on the app itself. When you download the app again, please click on Sign In and enter the email address you use in Cozi, along with the account password. If deleting and reinstalling the Cozi app doesn’t resolve the problem you’re experiencing, please contact Cozi customer support, and please provide details about the problem that’s occurring.
I have a new phone. How can I access my Cozi account from my new device?
You can access your Cozi account from any computer, or from any iOS or Android device. If you have a new phone, just download the Cozi iOS or Android app to your new device, click on Sign In, enter the email address that’s included in your Cozi account, along with the shared password. Once you sign in, your existing data will all load to your new device.
Is Cozi free?
Cozi offers a free version and a subscription version. When you create a new Cozi account or download the Cozi app, you’ll automatically be using the free version of Cozi, which includes most Cozi features and is supported by ads and sponsors. If you would prefer not to see ads and would like access to additional features, you could subscribe to Cozi Gold (one subscription applies to all family members in an account) from Cozi on the web or from your Cozi iOS or Android app as an in-app purchase. To get a two-week free trial of Cozi Gold before purchase, please start your subscription from Cozi on the web. For more information about the different versions of Cozi, please see this page. Note: The free trial is only available for subscriptions started from the web version of Cozi, not from the Cozi mobile apps, since the app stores don’t offer the free trial option.
How do I delete my Cozi account?
If you want to delete an account, please visit Cozi’s account deletion page and confirm your email address and shared family password. Once an account is deleted, all data for everyone included in the account will be permanently erased, and cannot be recovered.
I need more help!
Please feel free to contact the Cozi customer support team for any additional questions. Please include the email address you use in your Cozi account in your email to support so that the support team can locate your account and answer your specific questions. Note: Cozi doesn’t offer phone support, but will reply as quickly as possible to all incoming email messages.
