Note on Deficiencies
Deficiencies are listed in broad categories and are available online for 36 months. We encourage you to contact your region office for an explanation of any of the deficiencies, or for additional information about this facility’s compliance. Resolved “On Site” means that a violation was resolved during the Licensing Specialist’s inspection.
Severity Levels
High:
These are the most serious violations of child care regulations and could pose a risk to the health and safety of children. If you would like an explanation of any of the deficiencies, or would like additional information about this facility’s compliance, please contact your regional office.
Medium:
These are significant violations of child care regulations and could negatively impact the health and safety of children. If you would like an explanation of any of the deficiencies, or would like additional information about this facility’s compliance, please contact your regional office.
Low:
These violations are the least likely to impact health and safety, but they still show that a facility is out of compliance with some child care regulations. If you would like an explanation of any of the deficiencies, or would like additional information about this facility’s compliance, please contact your regional office.
Note on Frequency of Inspections
Centers, Group Homes, and Licensed Family Homes::
In 2014, legislation was passed that changed the number of unannounced visits from two per year to one per year in Child Care Centers, Group Child Care Homes, and Licensed Family Child Care Homes. As a result of this new law, you may see a decrease in the number of deficiencies listed on this website for these types of providers. Unannounced visits are still made in response to a complaint, and visits are scheduled with the facility during the re-licensing process, which occurs every two years.
Registered Family Homes:
Most family homes are registered, not licensed. In 2014, legislation was passed that allows Child Care Licensing to make one unannounced visit to these homes each year. As a result of this new law, you may see an increase in the number of deficiencies listed on this website for Registered Family Child Care Homes. Unannounced visits are still made in response to a complaint. Click here for an overview of each facility and the requirements they must meet according to state law.

Lawsuit Claims Unsanitary Conditions, Abuse Have Plagued L.
I. Daycare
Local News
/ CBS New York
FREEPORT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A Long Island daycare said it was blindsided Wednesday by a whistleblower lawsuit filed by a former coworker.
But as CBS2’s Jennifer McLogan reported, Carousel of Learning has been cited for multiple violations. And now a lawsuit alleges unsanitary conditions and even child-on-child sexual abuse happened at the facility.
Worried parents came looking for answers Wednesday upon hearing that the Nassau County daycare could be in danger of losing its license.
“There was no one overseeing anything,” said former employee Shaniece Ford. “It was literally a zoo.”
Ford was fired, she said, for lodging complaints and reporting concerns to the state regarding Carousel of Learning – which has locations in Baldwin and Freeport.
Ford alleged that the children were given dirty utensils and moldy bread and pasta to eat. She said she also saw cockroaches and sinks and toilets.
Ford also said there was mingling of older and younger age groups that led to a horrific situation. She said she allowed her 4-year-old son to attend the programs at Carousel of Learning, but then a 10-year-old fondled her son on a Carousel school bus.
Upon finding out about that, Ford said she went to police, WCBS 880’s Sophia Hall reported. Victims Services is investigating.
“My son’s innocence is what breaks my heart, and all the kids’ innocence,” Ford said, “I don’t know that he’s going to recover from this. I pray to God that he forgets that this happened to him.”
Ford is among those suing Carousel under the labor law whistleblower statute.
“The reason we are bringing this lawsuit is as a shield to protect the most vulnerable in our society; to protect the students who are attending this daycare center,” said Ford’s attorney, Ken Mollins.
Carousel of Learning released a statement late Wednesday calling the allegations baseless.
“Without so much as even the suggestion of evidence or allowing for due process, an allegation has been made by disgruntled former employees who know that facts are irrelevant when destroying the reputation of an institution whose mission is to provide a safe and healthy environment for children,” a spokesman said in the statement. “In the wake of this baseless charge we welcome local and state authorities to conduct a thorough review of our facilities and we will be cooperating with any investigation that looks at these allegations.”
A Carousel manager also told McLogan by phone that they “absolutely deny these allegations, absolutely.”

We are so glad you found us! Truro Preschool and Kindergarten is an engaging place for children to grow and learn. We are a Christian developmental, play-based preschool. Our approach is to teach to the whole child, using a variety of materials, with a well-rounded curriculum of teacher-led and child-led experiences.
Our goal is to help children to become confident learners and problem-solvers with solid academic and social skills, knowing they are loved by God and designed to experience a relationship with him.

And with a child with a food allergy, that is a great gift. We’ve been so thankful and grateful to be a part of this community for the past three years.
Truro Preschool has provided a wonderful foundation of learning for my son. His daily experience involves sweet lessons of life through creatively intentional play and instruction. Every fruit of the Spirit is on display throughout the staff at Truro. My son goes to school with sweet confidence and assurance knowing he is safe and loved as he daily flexes new muscles of growing and learning. Truro Preschool is a remarkably special place!
TPK has been a huge blessing for our family, and we have been so lucky to have our two girls, ages 3 and 5, at this wonderful school. The teachers and office leadership are incredibly focused on the well-being, safety, and development of their students, and our children are thriving in this environment. As a physician, I was very pleased with all the safety measures in place in the 2020 school year, as well as the drive and determination to continue in-person school, despite the related challenges.
I would recommend TPK to any family looking for a nurturing, loving, and supportive environment for their children.
We have loved the warm and safe environment at TPK, full of play and hands-on learning. Even the playground has creative play, like tree stump balance beams and a wooden kitchen, in addition to a full playground. Our kids have been fully prepared for Kindergarten, both academically and socially, and we especially love that the good news of Jesus is taught throughout and overflows in the teachers and administration.
TPK is unique in the balanced value it places on encouraging our children’s social-emotional, academic, and spiritual growth within a loving and fun community. As working parents, we especially appreciate the support we receive from teachers and leadership through the before and after school care program!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ”- Jeremiah 29:11

FAQs
AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Fairfax KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5-12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3-12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.
Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!
A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.
Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
We first met Miss Seble when I dropped my 8-week old daughter at Kindercare over three years ago. From the moment I reluctantly passed my baby to her, I knew she was in good hands. Seble has a warmth and kindness that fills a room. When you leave your children with her, they become her children. She protects them, make sure they are attended to and that they feel loved every day.
Under Miss Seble’s care, my youngest daughter met her developmental milestones early and has become a well-adjusted social butterfly. My oldest moved to Kindercare when she was 4, and had a hard time adjusting at first. Even though my daughter wasn’t directly under her care, Miss Seble went out of her way to make sure my shy, insecure girl knew she had someone there to give her hugs and words of encouragement when she wasn’t feeling confident.
The kids love her as much as she loves them. My girls run to her every morning to get a big hug and say “I love you Miss Seble!” Even on the days when my baby girl is grumpy, Miss Seble always comes out to cheer her up and get her excited for the day.
It’s not just my kids who adore her. She has a line of kids of all ages lined up at her classroom door every morning for hugs and maybe a little treat. Nothing makes a parent happier than to know that someone loves your kids as much as you do (perhaps, even more some days!).
We are grateful and blessed to know her, and we consider her family.
Nicole W. – KinderCare Parent
Ms. Seble has cared for both our daughters at KinderCare Fairfax, Annelise (7 1/2 years old) and Celeste (4years old) who is still enrolled at KinderCare. She takes a deep interest in both your family and your child.
Her relationship with our kids has continued as they have grown up through KinderCare. I’ve seen this same connection with other kids as they visit her infant room in the mornings to say hello. I don’t think a parent can ask for more than someone who truly cares for your child and family.
Rudy W. – KinderCare Parent
My girls love going here!! The teachers are very engaged with the kids. Mrs. Seble & Salma have helped me a lot with my youngest daughter and her feedings. The staff is always helpful and friendly, thank you for all that you guys do!
Ashlie A. – KinderCare Parent

Frequently Asked Questions
What accreditations does KinderCare have?
We are your trusted caregiver. Our centers are state-licensed and regularly inspected to make sure everything meets or exceeds standards, including child-to-teacher ratios and safe facilities. Our centers aren’t just licensed—most are accredited, too! Find out more.
Do you offer part-time schedules at Fairfax KinderCare?
Everybody’s schedule is different. We’re happy to offer quality, affordable part-time and full-time childcare. Drop-in care may also be available. Reach out to your Center Director to learn more.
How does naptime work at Fairfax KinderCare?
Our teachers meet every child’s needs during naptime. Our teachers know how to get babies to nap. In fact, they are pros at getting children of any age to nap. Visit our article on “10 Ways We Help Kids Get a Great Daycare Nap” to learn more.
Do you support alternative diets?
We strive to be as inclusive as possible. To that point, we provide a vegetarian option at mealtime, take care to not serve common allergens and can adapt menus based on your child’s food sensitivities. If your child has additional needs, we’ll work with you to figure out a plan.
Are meals included in tuition? Can I choose to send my child with lunch?
We provide nutritious meals and snacks developed by a registered dietician to meet the needs of rapidly growing bodies and minds. If your child has special dietary requirements and you would prefer to bring in their lunch, please make arrangements with the center director.
Does my child need to be potty-trained?
Every child begins toilet learning at a different age. Until your child shows an interest in toilet learning, we’ll provide diaper changes on an as-needed basis. When your child shows an interest, we’ll discuss how to work together to encourage toilet learning.

The Little Prince
Description
“The Little Prince” is an allegorical story, the most famous work of Antoine de Saint-Exupery. The drawings in the book are made by the author himself and are no less famous than the book itself. It is important that these are not illustrations, but an organic part of the work as a whole: the author himself and the heroes of the tale all the time refer to the drawings and even argue about them. The unique illustrations in The Little Prince break down language barriers and become part of a universal visual lexicon understandable to everyone.
“After all, all adults were children at first, only few of them remember this” – Antoine de Saint-Exupery, from the dedication to the book.
Three comrades
Description
Three friends – Robbie, a desperate racing driver Kester and “the last romantic” Lenz went through the First World War. After returning to civilian life, they founded a small car repair shop. And although the ghosts of the past haunt them, they do not lose heart – after all, what could be better than friendship, strong and faithful, for which you can give the last? Probably only love that knows no boundaries and limits. Beautiful and sad Pat, Robbie’s tender lover, dispels the darkness of the meaninglessness of his existence. However, the newfound happiness is threatened by the echoes of the same war – existing not only in the memory and consciousness of the heroes, but in a harsh way embodied in reality … This story once and for all won the hearts of millions of readers around the world. Generations have grown up on this book, it has long been torn apart into quotes, it has been repeatedly filmed and continues to be staged. It makes you want to read it over and over again.
Jane Eyre

Gothic manor, love, attempted murder, the crazy wife of the protagonist, locked in the attic – in Charlotte Bronte’s most famous novel JANE AIR. Victorian England. After eight years in a boarding school for poor girls, the orphan Jane Eyre gets a job as a governess in Thornfield – the fiefdom of Edward Fairfax Rochester. The owner of the estate rarely visits his native land, and in his absence, Jane must look after the eight-year-old Adele Varance, the pupil of an aristocrat. And then one day Rochester returns. I am a babysitter at babysitting connection. It is such a healthy workplace here! Management respects my school schedule, and there is plenty of flexibility. As well, I always feel safe on my sits and even look forward to meeting families.
There have been some genuinely memorable experiences on the job exploring all of the pockets and people of Austin. I definitely recommend working here!”

San Antonio, TX
I absolutely love working here. I started when I was in college and then kept doing it after I graduated (part time) because it is just so fun to play with kids and get paid on my own time.
The management is also spectacular. They are always willing to hear us out and they set clear expectations on both ends to do their best to make everybody happy. I’ve been with Babysitter Connection for over a year now and I am so glad I joined in the first place.

IN HOUSTON – Our Texas – Russian Newspaper in Houston, Dallas, San-Antonio, Austin, Texas
WASTE DELIVERY DUE TO TRAIN DECLINE IN OHIO
Politicians protested in Houston last week when news broke that that hazardous waste from East Palestine, Ohio, is sent to their city for disposal.
Trucks transported toxic wastewater over 1,300 miles from eastern Ohio to be buried at the Texas Molecular plant in Dear Park, on the outskirts of Greater Houston.
Officials issued statements that the public should have been warned, prompting the Environmental Protection Agency to order a Feb. rails and caught fire.
On February 27, waste shipments resumed, but only to facilities in Ohio.
Despite the outrage, the railroad operator did nothing unusual by sending their waste across the country to Houston. Houston, with a population of 7.2 million, is home to a large industrial sector on the Gulf of Mexico, making it the nation’s energy and petrochemical capital, as well as one of the best places to pump hazardous waste deep underground.
“It’s no wonder the sewage from the Ohio train derailment ends up here,” said Sema Hernandez, a 37-year-old mother of four and environmentalist from Houston’s Pasadena neighborhood, which neighbors Dear Park. “No one cares what happens in our neighborhood as long as it doesn’t affect richer communities.”
Not all railroad accident waste from Ohio arrived in Houston. According to news reports, some of the toxic sewage, containing unburned residues of spilled chemicals mixed with firefighting foam, was pumped into Ohio, and some was pumped into Michigan. But the largest volume was on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.
Texas and Louisiana contain the majority of hazardous waste disposal wells, according to the US Environmental Agency. Only eight other states have such wells. Most are privately owned and do not accept third party waste, but a few commercial wells, such as the Dear Park well, accept third party waste.
ABOUT HISD’S IMPENDING ACQUISITION
From the Texas Capitol to the Houston City Council, politicians say the Texas Education Agency will take over Houston’s Independent School District within days.
Mayor Sylvester Turner says the looming takeover could happen as early as next week.
While the takeover is largely a bureaucratic move at the highest levels of the district, the move could affect students and staff if schools are closed or converted to charter schools, critics say.
There are over 196,000 students in the district.
“It worries me a lot,” says Turner. How do you go in and take over the largest school district in the state of Texas? How do you do it and do it successfully?”
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) initially tried to take over in 2019 due to poor test scores at several district schools. The school district opposed the move and sued the agency in 2020.
The case went all the way to the Texas Supreme Court, and in January of this year, judges sided with TEA, clearing the way for state-appointed managers to replace elected school board members.
State-appointed managers will have tremendous power. They can control the budget, school closures, partnerships with charter networks, curriculum and library book policies, and hire or fire a superintendent, among other important decisions.
Members of the Community of Houston for Community Education (CVPE) have long been protesting the takeover.
In response to Turner’s comment, a TEA spokesman did not confirm whether the takeover would take place next week. “TEA continues to review the Supreme Court’s decision to determine the next steps that will best support students, teachers, parents, and the Houston Independent School District school community,” TEA said in a statement.
DISCOVERY GREEN RECEIVED A $2 MILLION GIFT
Houston’s iconic city park that has transformed downtown has received a special gift to ensure the green spaces are preserved for future generations.
The Kinder Foundation donated $2 million to the Discovery Green Conservancy to create a fund for the 12-acre park.
Before Discovery Green was conceived in 2008, the site contained two underutilized surface car parks. The park has served as a catalyst for change in the region, reimagining public park spaces and generating more than $1.8 billion in development funds within a two-block radius.
The park has also rethought building types leading to the creation of so-called 20-minute blocks that provide walking distance.
Today, millions of visitors from near and far come to Discovery Green to enjoy the green oasis, art installations, events, restaurants and more. The George R. Brown Convention Center, Hilton Americas, Marriot Marquis, and the Avenida Houston entertainment district contribute to the area’s success.
Access to green space in downtown Houston has expanded over the years, proving that leaders, developers and the community understand how important they are to our personal health and the health of our economy.
THE BAD SIDE OF HOUSTON SPRING
Spring has just arrived, and Houston allergy sufferers are sneezing everywhere.
Baylor College of Medicine doctors say pollen counts in Bayou remain high due to warmer winters.
Tree pollen saturation has been classified as “extremely severe” by the Houston Department of Health for the past week.
And the concentration of weed pollen, field grasses and mold spores was at an average level.
Living in Houston means living with allergies all year round. Herbs pollinate in spring, trees and weeds in summer and fall, and mountain cedar in winter, according to a Baylor College of Medicine spokesman. So as long as the weather remains unseasonably warm, no matter the time of year, there will be allergens in the air.
To relieve symptoms, doctors recommend over-the-counter allergy medications or nasal sprays.
Also try using a nasal washer (neti pot) and consider wearing a mask outdoors – a surgical grade mask can block some of the larger pollen.
CHICKEN IN SPRING
Soaring egg prices, coupled with the desire for greater food security, are driving more Houstonians to raise their own laying hens in their yards.
Interest in backyard chickens in Houston skyrocketed at the start of the pandemic when people panicked when they saw empty food shelves. Chicken owner Brett Chisholm said that in 2020, the Houston Area Backyard Chickens Facebook group he oversees has grown rapidly from under 2,000 to over 3,000 people.
Now there are about 8000 members in the group. According to Chisholm, about half of the people in the group have chickens, and the other half are about to get them.
Owning chickens can have several advantages – excellent egg quality, a direct food source, plus they are pretty cute pets.
There are also disadvantages: raising chickens can be associated with the cost of eggs. Having chickens will not be cost effective if you don’t plan on doing so for a long time, as the cost of coops, feed, fencing, and general supplies can go up.
Hens start laying eggs at 18 to 22 weeks of age, so this is not a quick return on investment.
Note: Houston allows residents to have up to 30 chickens (as long as they are kept clean and at least 100 feet from nearby residences, schools, hospitals, or churches), but many homeowners associations do not allow chickens.
OUR PARENTS ARE LUCKY WITH NANNY PRICES
Houston parents, rejoice. Babysitting rates in the city have gone down, while in the rest of the country they have gone up.
In 2022, babysitting rates for single child care fell by 3% in Houston, according to a survey conducted by carer search platform UrbanSitter. Even more – by 17% – for two children.
Last year, the average babysitting rate on UrbanSitter in Houston was $17.84 per hour for one child and $18.77 for two. In 2021, it was $18.39for one child and $22.73 for two.
Nationally, single babysitting rates rose 9.7% to $22.68 an hour, slightly less than the 11% increase seen in 2021 but still outpacing inflation for the second year in a row.
Many teachers, nurses and early childhood professionals have taken to babysitting during the pandemic and raised babysitting prices due to their experience.
But many people in Houston are now gone, which is probably why the average rate has dropped, says UrbanSitter founder and CEO Lynn Perkins. Perkins also notes that there are many nannies and carers in the Houston area, which means lower rates.

HOUSTON’S ENERGY SYMBOL WILL BE A HOUSE
A vacant downtown skyscraper, a reminder that Houston is the energy capital of the world, may soon revive the trend of living in you acres in downtown. The tower, formerly known as the headquarters of Humble Oil and now the Exxon building (800 Bell St.), was sold to an out-of-state developer who plans to convert it into a residential building. The 1.2 million square foot building was sold to a New York investment group associated with CMI Developers. It is noteworthy that the group has experience in the historical reconstruction and redevelopment of apartments. The age of the Exxon building (it was completed in 1962) and its high 90,331 local prominence may provide property developers with historic preservation tax credits. As residents of the city remember, Exxon’s former headquarters at 800 Bell lasted for about eight years when the company moved into a new modern complex. Culturally, the building was of great importance as Houston’s towering energy status symbol. At the time of opening, the building was considered the tallest west of the Mississippi River. Its famous Oil Club on the top floor was the site of countless 90,331 deals and later special events. Looking ahead, the building provides numerous opportunities for adaptive reuse. Once open to neighbors who used the Exxon cafeteria, the ground floors of the building could be the perfect multifunctional space for restaurants and even shops. It is to be hoped that the building’s signature fins, designed to protect against the hot Houston sun, will remain a design feature.

Dear readers, how much do you pay for babysitting services? Please share at this address: [email protected]

Indoor Trampoline Park and Fun Center- Under Contract
Houston, TX
**This deal is currently UNDER CONTRACT**
Available for sale is an indoor trampoline park located in an expanding Northwest Houston location. This is an excellent acquisition opportunity that has tremendous potential for both new and experienced operators to continue growing this business. The current owners have done a tremendous job building this business since its doors opened in 2018.
This indoor trampoline park is a fully equipped elite activity facility catering to children and adults. More than a trampoline park, it is entertainment for the entire family. The Ninja Park attraction is designed to challenge stamina, strength, speed, and agility, like the Ninja Warrior challenges.
Trampoline Dodgeball gives a grand view of corporate events and team-building exercises. The Trampoline Slam Dunk is an everyone’s dream come true of recreating an epic basketball dunk with no skills necessary. This business is an excellent venue for booking birthday parties, glow parties, and interactive trampoline experiences like ValoJump.
Sales are continuously growing due to the high demand for indoor entertainment facilities with only 800+ trampoline parks in the U.S. In order for the owners to be semi-absentee there is a great team of fully trained staff, including a General Manager. The space is a spectacular warehouse type facility with 24-foot ceilings and is approximately 20,000 square feet. A highly successful concept in an ideal location, proven to be successful. Business operations are smooth and organized on a point-of-sale system.
Like many other personal services, the $8+ billion U.S. entertainment industry took a hit in 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic shuttered many of the nation’s indoor entertainment facilities, and revenues plunged. However, as customers began to get vaccinated, businesses have re-opened, and demand is still strong! The owners have had a strong 2022 so far and they project that 2022 will continue at this pace or better!
The purchase price of $950,000. 00 includes all furniture, fixtures, and equipment pictured below. The trampoline park is in pristine condition, and it provides a visual appeal for all customers.
The trampoline park is in a heavy foot-traffic shopping center, well-lit with well-known department stores nearby, providing a quick alternative for parents to enjoy a relaxing shopping time while children are entertained in a safe, indoor environment.
The primary services offered here are freestyle jump, dodgeball, basketball, rock climbing, gymnastics, and personal fitness, with birthday parties and corporate events.

Large, Modern & Established Daycare in Katy
Katy, TX
TRANSWORLD BUSINESS ADVISORS OF HOUSTON. LISTING REF #76931-378025
This established daycare in Katy has over 10 years of operations under the same ownership. The daycare has a long track record of profitability and tenured employees and staff. Very accessible and well-located, this facility has a modern layout that caters to children of all ages, including infants. With a capacity of 180 children, the school averaged about 120 prior to the pandemic and resulted in solid profits, yet with room to capitalize on increased enrollment, and re-introduction of after school programs. Historically, the owner has relied only on word of mouth from current parents. High income families and dual wage-earning households surround this facility and are a captive customer base from which to scale in a sizeable 8,300 SF facility fully built out in to encourage learning.
Obviously COVID had a substantial impact to this industry specifically. The school did in fact experience a reduction in enrollment in April, 2020, that has been steadily rebounding. The seller had been preparing to sell prior to the pandemic, and instead had to re-engage what was then a semi-absentee situation, and work to build the school back up to previous levels. It is ready for a new, engaged owner to continue add on to the approximate 90+ enrolled children and exceed pre-pandemic profits it’s capable of. As 2019 was last “normal” year, those are the tax return numbers reflected here. Financials and tax return summary up to current will be provided to serious, qualified buyers.
The sale includes FF&E valued at approximately $300,000 and leasehold improvements valued at approximately $200,000. The owner took advantage of the downtime of COVID and enhanced the facility even further, upgrading the playground, changing to LED lighting, enhancing technology tools, and updating cabinetry. This is a must-see facility to truly appreciate the impact and potential.

Hanson Blvd KinderCare Programs

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
Moving from another state and having a baby on the way brings a lot of anxiety to a family. I was extremely concerned about selecting the right daycare for my three-year-old and my new baby on the way. When I went to KinderCare, my concerns were mitigated immediately. The well-trained staff made my family feel right at home. We have used Hanson Blvd. KinderCare in Coon Rapids for the past six years now and we feel like they are an extension of our family. I am thankful for all the teachers who have cuddled my kids, taught them important lessons, and still provided the appropriate levels of education along the way.
Jennifer – KinderCare Parent
Our daughter has now attended Hanson Blvd. KinderCare for approximately four months and her ability to recognize letters and numbers and to count is amazing. She improved her interaction with other kids and sharing. Ms. Andrea and staff are always helpful and offer great support for a learning environment.
Dan Z. – KinderCare Parent
Having had both of our kids spend time in the care and supervision of the staff at Hanson Blvd. KinderCare has been a very good experience. We are grateful. They have learned and grown and I am sure we will always keep those fond memories. Thanks so much for what you do each day.

artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)

Life with a raccoon is a whole philosophy
“The owner of the Kozlov family” – such a caption flaunts on the avatar of the Kursk raccoon Totoro on Instagram. And as our correspondent found out, this is the same case, , when there is only a fraction of a joke in a joke.
Doesn’t let you relax
I saw Totoro right away, before I even took off my shoes. A curious forest animal looked out from behind the enclosure and, running up to the threshold, friendly poked its nose at me, to my considerable surprise, quite calmly and even willingly allowed itself to be stroked.
Is he friendly with everyone? – I turn to the owners of Totoro (at home Tosha) – a young couple, Pavel and Elena.
I hope, of course, to hear “no”, but, alas, the raccoon favors everyone who gives him signs of attention.
Following the raccoon, a corgi dog runs out into the corridor, followed importantly by three cats Alice, Foxy and Simba.
– We have a whole zoo here…
To make Totoro finally convinced of my good attitude towards him, I hand him a banana, which is deftly taken over by the graceful mongrel Eva, which Pavel and Elena picked up a month ago, and Totoro eats dog food from her bowl with the help of her paws.
– At one time Totoro was very fond of bananas, – says Elena, – now he is hooked on grapes, and his favorite food is buckwheat and shrimp. He eats oatmeal, meat (fillet), cheese and fish.
The idea to get a raccoon to the newlyweds came spontaneously.
“At first we were looking for a thoroughbred corgi dog,” says Pavel. – And then I decided – a raccoon. I began to search for information on the Internet about domestic raccoons, and found Totoro in a private nursery.
“When my husband suggested getting a raccoon, at first I was against it,” Elena admits, “she said: “No, what kind of raccoon, what are you talking about?”. But in the end, she agreed.
So the German black raccoon settled in the apartment of an ordinary high-rise building almost in the very center of the city. The raccoon was two months old at the time. Now it is two and a half years.
“Since they took him very young, he is tame, he understands that we are his masters,” says Elena. – Totoro and I were lucky, this is a cheerful, friendly animal, but a forest dweller can have a completely different character. Not every animal can become tame.
At the same time, even a domesticated raccoon does not let its owners relax – it breaks and spoils everything that comes under its paws – wallpaper, furniture upholstery.
– At night and when we leave, we usually close it in the aviary, but you can’t leave the raccoon in the apartment for several days. You need someone to live with him. With Totoro, for example, my sister stayed. Therefore, if this is not possible, and the person’s lifestyle involves private business trips or travel, the raccoon is contraindicated for him. For an animal, moving long distances is unnecessary stress. True, from time to time we take Totoro out to nature, and somehow, when he was little, he rode a bus to the sea, spent the night with us in a tent, walked without a leash.
In the south, a couple was often mistaken for photographers, asked how much a photo with a raccoon costs.
– We answered: “Our raccoon does not want to be photographed,” Elena smiles. – I feel sorry for raccoons from petting zoos. If the raccoon is sleepy and lethargic all day, sitting still, then something is probably wrong with him. Look at Totoro, how can he sit still for even a minute?
At this time, Totoro grabs my neck with both paws and, becoming interested in what I’m doing, suddenly gnaws at the fountain pen.
Taught me not to worry about little things
“A raccoon is like a three-year-old child,” Elena says. He likes to mess with his toys, he has a whole box of them. Demands to be played with, communicated with. He is a very social creature. But if the baby grows up, then the raccoon remains a three-year-old child for life, and, unfortunately, not everyone is ready for this.
By the way, if raccoons live in the wild in the forest for about five years, then in good home conditions – up to twenty.
With a raccoon in the house, you need to be prepared for a variety of surprises. Once, left alone in the apartment, Totoro got out of the enclosure and unscrewed the tap. When the owners returned, the raccoon was jumping, wrapped in toilet paper, on the floor, flooded with water.
In response to the question: “Have you ever regretted that you took a raccoon?” Elena laughs:
– Yes. And more than once. When he has a rut, it is sometimes difficult to cope with him. You have to adjust your whole life to a raccoon, and not just feed, walk and get vaccinated on time. It is much more difficult with him than, say, with a dog. For example, our apartment is fully furnished under a raccoon, nothing superfluous, minimalist style, furniture – used or practical, made of solid materials.
“We can say that it’s not the raccoon that lives with us, but we live with the raccoon,” Pavel sums up.
Living with a raccoon is a whole philosophy.
“With him, we have become different, simpler and calmer, treat many things, not worry about trifles, not become attached to the material,” Elena smiles. – The raccoon broke his favorite teapot – what nonsense, tore his clothes – you should not pay attention. And, indeed, all this is insignificant compared to how much joy a raccoon brings when you see how he, after playing enough, lies down next to him (“scratch me”) and falls asleep, or how he chases squirrels in the forest, rejoices in soap bubbles.
A raccoon gets along well with cats and a dog, but with an older cat it cannot stay in one place for a long time, rivalry begins, finding out which of them is the leader of the pack, so the owners have to breed applicants in different corners.
Travels in public transport
At first, the newlyweds say, when they just chose a raccoon, it seemed to them not just an exotic, but a fabulous animal, which is why they gave the name from a fairy tale, like the guardian of the forest, Totoro.
“Now a raccoon is a common occurrence for us, a part of our life, a member of our family,” says Pavel.
The Kozlovs walk the raccoon every day with the dog, but the raccoon needs a longer leash, and not with a collar, but with a harness, because he removes the collar. In winter, when it’s cold, Totoro prefers to stay at home – his paws get cold. The skin of raccoons is tender, and the owner of the Kozlov family is afraid of snow. Surrounding raccoons react differently. Not everyone understands that there is a raccoon in front of them.
– Often mistaken for a dog, especially in the dark, they are interested in what kind of unusual breed this is. No matter how they called our Totoro: skunk, ferret, badger. And when he was little, once they even took him for a hedgehog, says Pavel.
Finding out that there is a raccoon in front of them, mostly, of course, they are surprised.
“Some are indifferent: “Just think, a raccoon” – you probably won’t break through such people at all,” says Elena. – It happens that the elderly grumble: “poor raccoon”, and some ill-mannered people even evaluate what kind of fur he has and what could come out of it.
By the way, since the raccoon settled in the house, Elena refused fur things, and at the word “raccoon fur” she completely twitches. Prefers beautiful and comfortable eco-fashion.
The couple communicates via the Internet with the owners of raccoons from other cities, share their emotions and experiences. They know another domestic raccoon in Kursk. The owners managed to get to know each other, but the raccoons have not yet met each other.
“We would definitely like Totoro to meet his own kind of domesticated raccoons,” says Pavel. “But whether we are going to look for a girlfriend for him – here we need to think a thousand times, because raccoons are a huge responsibility.
And Totoro can sometimes be found in the trolley bus and tram. He behaves calmly in public urban transport.
“We used to put Totoro in carts in supermarkets,” says Pavel. “But now the pandemic is not the time for such entertainment. But even in difficult times, our raccoon knows how to defuse the situation. It happens that a child starts crying on the street, and suddenly our raccoon appears. And now the baby’s tears instantly dried up, joy in his eyes. He pulls the parent’s sleeve: “Mom, dad, look, it’s a raccoon!”

Quest “Circle of Raccoons” | Robin
Team members will create a living circle with a rope, check it for strength and evenness, standing up and crouching. The work is carried out in complete silence, which will allow you to relax and reduce psycho-emotional excitement, tune in and create a sense of unity.
From 8 to 40 people can complete the quest. It does not require special training, all actions are simple and accessible to a participant of any age.
How it was: testimonials from real people
In order for you to better understand the essence of the quest, as well as its mood and results, we asked two participants to give us a short interview and share their impressions.
Andrey, 42 Chelyabinsk Good day. My name is Andrey, and I, like most of the employees of our company, experienced mixed feelings after our boss announced the news that we were going to a spring corporate party to complete quests.
My first thought was: “If only people could have a quiet rest in nature, especially since they were closing a big project, their nerves were on edge.” To be honest, I was very mistaken in thinking that the quest is boring.
So, we arrived at the Malinovka camp site, we were met and escorted to the territory. After a short briefing, the coach offered us a quest with the interesting name “Circle of Raccoons”. It even has its own legend. According to an ancient Celtic parable, there are several days a year when raccoons, gathered in one clearing, perform a ritual dance. With its help, they restore the balance of natural forces, awaken it. The magical effect of dance brings happiness and fertility. Not a bad start, huh?
I must say right away that it is difficult to call our team friendly, but there have never been any special conflicts. Like everyone else, chat when possible, get nervous when deadlines are burning. Someone communicates with each other a little tighter, someone tries not to contact at all.
The essence of the quest was to organize a perfectly even circle with the help of a tied rope, and then, holding on to it, sit down and stand up. At the same time, it was necessary to stretch out the arms and tilt the body slightly back. I confess that I did not want to fall, so at the beginning I looked at my colleagues with apprehension. By the way, it was impossible to talk, to ask the coach questions too. Apparently, the point was precisely to cope with the task without disputes and lengthy clarifications.
As a result, the impressions are only positive. The task was completed completely, relaxed as much as possible. Of course, it was not without conversations at all, we whispered a little in order to agree. I think everyone released the stress, enjoyed the process. The atmosphere during the process was very friendly.
Marina 33 years old, Chelyabinsk Greetings. I am an HR manager for a company that provides environmental support for companies. During the reporting period, a difficult situation reigns in our team, everyone forgets about friendliness and calmness as soon as they cross the threshold of offices in the morning. At the meeting, it was decided that it was time to let off some steam.
Team building, as you know, is still the best tool for working with a team. On the site of the tourist center “Malinovka” we found interesting information about quests, one of which had a very nice name “Circle of Raccoons”. Upon arrival, after a short briefing and introductory words, we began to perform. By the way, I also participated.
My daughter loves this childcare center! She has learned so much since she has been going there and is always surprising me with what she knows. The staff are always very personable and helpful. I highlyrecommend this center!…

I love this place. The people don’t look at your child like just another kid. My son has been going for roughly 4 months and he has developed a bond with all the workers. When i drop him off, he still has someseparation issues (he will be 18months Feb. 26th), they don’t just let him sit there and cry I can hand him to one of the workers and they let him sit with them until he is ready to get down. When I went to look around one of the things I noticed, when looking in the infant room (up to 18 months) the worker that was there taking care of the infants during feeding time didn’t just lay them down and give them their bottle, she was actually holding them and giving them closeness that any parent wants. That was a big plus in my book.
The first week he was there, he started clapping, saying thank you, and walking. I even have numbers to where I can text, or call throughout the day and get an answer on how he is doing. For a first time mom this was a big step for me, and I don’t think I could of picked a better place….
