Large mall.
Apr. 2016 • For two
A large two-story shopping center with many shops for every taste, from souvenirs to jewelry. We mainly visit the Walmart store there, where you can buy clothes and utensils and furniture and groceries and much more at reasonable prices. There is also a good electronics store Best Buy and sporting goods stores. Several mobile phone companies are represented. There is a food court where you can have a bite to eat. The parking lots around this Center are capacious, though people come, as a rule, a lot.

What’s better than an air conditioned shopping mall? You can shop, eat, watch a movie, play games or have a coffee at Parkway Plaza. You can even go grocery shopping at Wale-Mart after you’ve cooled off in the movies!

Great Local Indoor Mall
June 2017
This indoor mall has a huge variety of small shops and larger stores as anchors like Wal-Mart and J. K. Penny. The Food Court has a good selection of foods to eat with pretzels and caramel grains nearby! On Thursdays there is a $4 small kids train that takes them on a ride (and you) throughout the mall and the kids love it. There are many games/rides for the kids as well and the play area. There are shops for hats, clothes, shoes, a map, t-shirts, novelty, jewelry and more… just about anything you need. There is even a movie theater and shops on the east end of the parking lot, like Home Goods and south of the Frontier.

Interesting east county assembly location
Apr. 2017 • With friends
The mall is more than a collection of shops, and this is no exception. Many use the space indoors to take advantage of the walk and the other use of this space is to leave their children. If someone locked you in this place, I think you might be. Clean, safe and pleasant.

Too Many Kids, Tennagers & Scary People
Apr. 2017 • Solo travel
Parkway Plaza used to be a good place to visit for shopping and forcing a bite to eat. Last year they took out all the little kids play equipment and put in some older stuff that tennagers use including cell phone charging stations and we know what that brings to the table. Now when you walk up and down the Plaza you don’t see personal safety, but you do see teenagers sitting around including so many tennage girls, sexy dressed who almost look like they’re looking for a date. If you know what I mean. The whole area no longer feels comfortable. Pretty spooky!

Parkway Plaza has been here for a very long time. During the day, it can still meet most of your needs. There is ample parking and several good restaurants. After the Wal-Mart replenished, the clientele became a little intimidating after dark. Especially on the street next to the parking lot on the other side of the mall. It’s an indoor mall, a bonus on hot summer days.

“I’m sure you, as a parent, put a lot of effort into improving your child’s speech. But in order to preserve and develop their native language in a multilingual environment, children need the support of a bilingual speech therapist.”
For more than 11 years, the team of our school and I have been working for the benefit of parents and their children. Classes with a children’s speech therapist help to speak their native language and preserve it in the future, put in missing sounds, and form high-quality speech. The technique is specially designed to work with bilingual children who are surrounded by several languages at once.

What diagnoses can a speech therapist make?
The qualification of a speech therapist diagnostician allows making such diagnoses as delayed speech development, alalia, general underdevelopment of speech, dysarthria, phonetic-phonemic speech disorder, stuttering, dysgraphia, dyslexia. A number of diseases are diagnosed in cooperation with other specialists – neurologists, ENT specialists, psychiatrists, psychologists.
What does a speech pathologist do?
When working with children, a speech therapist corrects the pronunciation of various sounds (articulation), works on the correct perception of sounds, and teaches how to build speech correctly. The range of possibilities of a speech pathologist-defectologist is even wider – this is the correction of speech development in children with various disorders.
What does a speech therapist do in the first session?
The first lesson with a children’s speech therapist is mainly about getting to know each other. On the one hand, the specialist conducts diagnostics, and on the other hand, he builds trusting relationships with the child and his parent, selects communication methods for future productive work.
What do classes with a speech therapist give?
In addition to clear pronunciation and competent speech, classes with a children’s speech therapist develop thinking, logic, and a creative approach to solving various problems. In the future, this has a positive effect on human life as a whole.
How many minutes should a speech therapist work with a child?
On average, the duration of one lesson for children with a speech therapist is 30 minutes. However, it can decrease or increase depending on the age, well-being, perseverance of the child and other similar factors.
How do you know if your child needs a speech pathologist?
The older the child, the more obvious the problems in speech development become, and remove the need to consult a specialist. Usually the question of whether a child needs a speech therapist worries kids. At the age when the baby is just starting to speak, it is almost impossible to detect deviations on your own. We recommend starting regular speech therapy diagnostics from the age of two. In our school, the initial such appeal will be free.
What you need to know about the profession of a speech therapist?
Before choosing a children’s speech therapist for your child, we recommend that you pay attention to the following points:
What basic education did the specialist have? It should be speech therapy, pedagogical or psychological. Moreover, the second and third options should be supported by certificates of additional specialized courses.
What practical experience does a children’s speech therapist have? Most teachers specialize in a narrow range of tasks.

We turned to the school “Your speech therapist” six months ago, my daughter (6 years old) completely skidded Russian, she simply missed many sounds, did not pronounce. Grandmother could not understand her at all, she had to “translate” literally every phrase. Why did you choose the online format? It was more convenient in terms of time, we still have a baby and it would not always work out to take our daughter to regular classes. As a result, literally after 6 lessons, the sound l appeared in speech, then w and w. They suffered the longest with p, but they also took this peak. At classes with a speech therapist for children, my daughter is interested, she even waits for them and then does her homework without disputes. Many thanks to our speech therapist Olga, her help was invaluable.

We came to this school on the recommendation of my friend, she had two children here and the result was excellent in both cases. We have gone through three lessons so far, not counting diagnostics. My son is 5 years old, was born already in the states, we speak Russian at home, but he does not want to be included in this process, right to the point of tantrums and stamping his feet, so that they speak English with him. I would like him to equally master both languages. So far, I really like the approach to the classes of our children’s speech therapist Anna. She explains the exercises very intelligibly, I don’t even have to prompt, the child is enthusiastic, actively working. Homework is also going well. I also liked the online format, it saves a lot of time. I definitely recommend both the school and this form of lessons.

I had problems with the pronunciation of the “r” sound since childhood, but then we moved to the USA and somehow it didn’t really bother me. But recently I was offered to teach in Russian. And it seems that the problem is small, no one pays attention to it, but I felt insecure because of it. I decided to try to work out with a speech therapist, and since I am an adult, why waste time on the road? I chose online lessons. Thanks to the help of the speech therapist of the Vash Speech Therapist Lyudmila school, literally in 7 lessons, the pronunciation of the sound “r” became clear, the burr completely disappeared. And I’m very happy with it, thank you very much for your help!
The development of speech in babies is a very quivering moment. Some are able to speak easily and quickly. Others require specialist help and active adult involvement. A special case is multilinguals. If your city is El Cajon, a children’s speech therapist for bilingual children is waiting for you at our online school.
Our specialists:
Gained great experience working with bilinguals.
Helps to achieve rapid progress in any starting situation.
They work with children from 2 years old and adults up to 99 years old.
Provide online services.
We will be happy to answer your questions in a convenient messenger.
Every parent strives to do everything possible so that his treasure grows up happy and comprehensively developed. Work on the development of native speech begins with the choice of a multilingual teacher. We try to provide as much information about the services as possible. A free diagnostic lesson with a children’s speech therapist for multilinguals is the first step in communication with children and their parents.
Go to a convenient messenger to agree with the manager of the speech therapy school about the time and other details.
A trial lesson with a children’s speech therapist (El Cajon) will be conducted by a certified diagnostician:
Based on his experience, he will perform an objective examination of the level of speech development.
A report is generated after the lesson. It indicates the problems that need to be worked out, a plan for the development of native speech is prescribed. This is a ready-made guide for teachers of our center or third-party specialists. You will also be given a special set of exercises for self-fulfillment.
Despite the common name of the profession, teachers have a unique practical experience. In their professional activities, they face real problems of a different nature. After the consultation, the diagnostician will recommend which specialist is best suited for your case.
If you enjoyed your first session and would like to continue your studies, we will arrange a convenient schedule for you with the most suitable speech pathologist.
You do not need to travel to classes with a children’s speech therapist in the city of El Cajon
The school is online. Children’s speech therapist for bilinguals conducts classes in the ZOOM program. This format has a lot of advantages regardless of the student’s age:
Efficiency will be high. The specialist works with your child individually. He selects topics and materials taking into account the interests and, of course, the needs of the student.
The duration of a session with a speech therapist for children is set from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the age of the student. However, getting to a big city such as El Cajon takes much longer. The remote form allows you to use the time for more interesting or useful things.
Many little children get tired on a long journey and become capricious. This clearly reduces the effectiveness of classes with a speech therapist for children. Remote lessons eliminate this problem.
Babies feel comfortable and relaxed at home. They quickly get in touch with the teacher.
New technologies in themselves are an intriguing factor. Games on a computer or tablet cause great interest and involvement of the child in the learning process.
If you have unforeseen circumstances, the children’s speech therapist transfers the lessons free of charge.
Why multilinguals from El Cajon need a special speech therapist
First, let’s figure out who a multilingual child is. These are children who are surrounded by several languages and master them in parallel. This situation arises when moving to another country, when mom and dad are representatives of different nationalities.
Trying to simultaneously master two language systems, the baby experiences a huge load on the speech apparatus and nervous system. He either gets very confused, or chooses one of the languages as the main one, refusing to speak the other. If you are in the city of El Cajon, our lessons with a speech therapist for children will help make up for the lack of communication in Russian. Without additional study, native speech is at a low level of development:
Many sounds remain unmastered, most often “p”, “l”, “g”, “sh”. When speaking, they are skipped or replaced by similar ones from another language.
The logic of formation of word forms, sentences is broken. The statements are hard to understand.
Vocabulary is distressingly scarce. To fill in the gaps, children try to drag foreign words.
As a result, the speaker is hardly understood even by people who are constantly in contact with him.
Such problems are beyond the competence of the ordinary specialist. A multilingual educator understands the causes of specific defects. Thanks to this, his help will be more effective.
For your child to achieve impressive results in mastering their native language, sign up for lessons with a children’s multilingual speech therapist. We offer the best prices and unique opportunities. We keep in touch in any messenger convenient for you.

Reader Andrey asks: “I am an individual entrepreneur, before an outsourced accountant calculated the salary, now he is ill, I will have to calculate it myself. How can I calculate the salary of an employee based on his salary?”
Salary is a fixed amount that the employer is obliged to pay to the employee for each fully worked month.
How to determine the salary
The salary can be higher or equal to the salary. The salary includes a salary and various additional payments, such as bonuses and bonuses. The salary and salary will be equal if the employee does not have compensations and additional payments.
Payroll: what businesses need to know
Payroll calculation requires the following data:
salary – from the employment contract;
the number of working days in the billing month – from the production calendar. But if an employee has a part-time work week, for example, he works from Monday to Wednesday, non-working days according to the employee’s schedule must be subtracted from the days according to the production calendar;
the number of days and hours that the employee worked per month – from the time sheet;
payments that an employee receives in addition to salary – from an employment or collective agreement, regulation on remuneration or bonuses.
If the employee has no bonuses or other payments, the salary calculation formula will be as follows:
That is, if an employee has worked all days in a month for 8 hours, he will receive a full salary. It does not matter how many working days there were in a month.
For example, according to the production calendar in January 2023, there are 17 working days, and in March – 22. If a person works all the indicated days, his salary for January and March will be the same, despite the fact that there are fewer working days in January. If the employee did not work on some days or worked less than 8 hours, then the salary will be proportionally reduced.
Ivanov’s salary is 55,300 rubles. He has a five-day work week, weekends are Saturday and Sunday. In September 2022, there were 22 working days, the employee worked only 17 of them.
Salary for September = 55,300 ₽ / 22 × 17 = 42,731.82 ₽.
If employees receive additional payments, salary will be calculated according to the following formula:
In October, the director appointed Ivanov a bonus of 10% of his salary. In October, 21 working days, the employee worked for a month in full.
Salary for October without bonus = 55,300 ₽ / 21 × 21 = 55,300 ₽.
Premium = 55 300 ₽ × 10% = 5530 ₽.
Salary with bonus = 55 300 ₽ + 5530 ₽ = 60 830 ₽.
If an employee has worked less than a full day or more than a full day, the hourly rate is applied to the calculation.
The salary of the janitor Bespalov is 30,000 rubles. The working day is 8 hours with a five-day working week. In October, Bespalov had 21 working days according to the five-day schedule. The employee worked 160 hours instead of 168 hours.
Employees who work in the regions of the Far North and areas equivalent to them are paid wages taking into account the allowance and the regional coefficient. Each region has its own amount of surcharges, which may differ for different cities, regions and areas of activity. We talked about this in detail in a separate article.

Pay twice a month
You cannot pay wages once a month. Without exceptions, reservations and conditions.
You can pay twice a month, three times, even every day. The main thing is not less than every half a month. This procedure is fixed in Art. 136 of the Labor Code.
In addition, there is a time frame: wages for a month worked are paid within 15 calendar days. This means that the salary for September must be paid no later than October 15, and the first part of the remuneration for October – before October 30 inclusive. Otherwise, it will turn out less often than every half a month.
The dates may be different: for example, 10 and 25 or 5 and 20. The employer chooses the specific dates, it is important to write them in the employment contract.
We intentionally do not use the word “advance” here: it is not found in the Labor Code. In everyday speech, an advance means a salary for the worked part of the month.
If the payment date falls on a holiday or weekend, the salary is paid the day before.

Administrative responsibility
Employers who pay salaries once a month violate labor laws and attract the attention of the labor inspectorate.
If an inspection comes, the employer will receive a fine and an order to correct the violation.
Liability under Art. 5.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses:
for individual entrepreneurs – from 1000 to 5000 rubles;
officials – a warning or a fine from 10,000 to 20,000 rubles;
legal entities — from 30,000 to 50,000 rubles;
You may not agree with the results of the check, but then you will have to defend your case in court.
How the labor inspectorate finds out about the violation
An employee complains. To do this, he does not have to leave the workplace and take a queue for an appointment with the inspector. On the website of Rostrud, a complaint can be sent in a couple of clicks, it is enough to have an account on the State Services.
A competitor, an ill-wisher, a journalist, a compassionate grandmother of a dismissed employee complains – anyone can report a violation of employee rights. Such a complaint will be the basis for an unscheduled inspection. About this – in Art. 360 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
Scheduled inspections for small businesses are not threatened until early 2021. We wrote about this in the article “Checks of Rospotrebnadzor”.
Is it possible to prescribe a payment once a month in an employment contract
There are situations when one payment per month suits both the employer and the employee. Here the idea is born to prescribe in the employment contract: the salary is issued once a month. It seems that the agreement signed by both parties is a reliable defense in a dispute with the labor inspectorate.
Actually, this is not the case. The contract should not worsen working conditions in comparison with those guaranteed by the Labor Code. This is written in Art. 9 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
If you have already prescribed the condition of one payment per month, conclude an additional agreement to the employment contract in order to change the clause on the terms of payment of wages.
The employee himself asks to pay once a month
Sometimes employees themselves insist on one payment: “I have a mortgage, it’s convenient for me to make a payment when the entire salary is paid at once!” Alas, the desire of the employee is powerless before the Labor Code. You cannot pay once a month, even if the employee writes a statement, begs or threatens to go on a hunger strike. Paying at least every half a month is not the right, but the obligation of the employer. There are no exceptions.
Is it possible to pay a symbolic advance, and the remaining amount later
This is also not possible. The logic is this: wages are remuneration for labor depending on the quantity, quality and conditions of the work performed; salary is paid at least every half a month. Therefore, you need to pay taking into account the actual hours worked and the amount of work performed. If an employee has fully worked for half a month, he needs to pay half of the salary, and not 1000 rubles, in order to formally fulfill the requirements of the law.

The history of the school-colony “Krasnye Zori”: it appeared in the early USSR and still exists
In the first years of its existence, the Soviet Union was a space of progress, sometimes absolutely unrestricted. It was then that innovative teachers appeared: Anton Makarenko, Stanislav Shatsky and Ignatiy Ionin. The latter created an amazing educational institution for children and adults. We tell the story of the utopian school “Red Dawns”, in which the all-Union movement of Communards was born.
A piano in the greenhouse
The first concert after the revolution at the Mikhailovsky estate near St. Petersburg was held a little later than the first harvest from local gardens ended. Music was demanded by children – orphans and those whom their parents simply could not feed during the difficult years of the Civil War. And the piano played.
Children settled in royal interiors: the estate used to belong to Prince Mikhail, son of Nicholas I. Surrounded by a large park with access to the Gulf of Finland, it was huge: with several large buildings – stables, greenhouses, gardens, houses for servants. Children gradually put the abandoned buildings in order – there was no one else to do this.
They repaired the large glass greenhouse themselves: they repaired the stove, insulated the dilapidated building, and made a stage. And they dragged a piano from the street, which was left there by the sailors who lodged in the main building of the estate. Finally, everything was ready for the concert – Liza Semenova played.
The mother could not feed her daughter alone, and she asked to enroll her in an orphanage
Lisa became one of the first pupils of the commune school in which the children lived, studied and worked. 27 boys and girls arranged their own way of life, re-settling the huge princely estate. In order not to starve, they plowed up part of the park for vegetable gardens. Apples were picked in the old princely orchards. On the way to them, the children invariably noticed the inscription that hung over the entrance to the former house of the princely gardeners: “Whoever says that he cannot, it means he does not want to!”
All employees agreed with this motto. They knew that when they entered the commune, they accepted its main rule – “Who does not work, he does not eat.” In return, children were given the freedom to choose the future of their school on their own. The director of the commune school, Ignatius Vyacheslavovich Ionin, in turn, promised the students: “Everyone gets everything!”
The Day of the Birds
How the Red Dawns were invented
The person who brought the children to Mikhailovka was Ignatiy Vyacheslavovich Ionin. He was born on December 31, 1892 in the family of a rural doctor and a midwife. The boy received his primary education at home, and then entered the Peterhof Men’s Gymnasium, where, despite all expectations, he did not become an excellent student, but constantly received triples. Nevertheless, after the gymnasium, the young man entered the natural department of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of St. Petersburg University.
At the beginning of the Civil War, a rather short, painfully thin Ionin served as a pilot, but, having received a severe concussion and a wound in the lung, he went home to his relatives. His father was ill, and therefore, having barely recovered from his injuries, Ionin began to look for work.
Soon he was offered to become an agronomist-instructor at the local summer school-colony, located in the Mikhailovsky estate. Other candidates, professional teachers, refused to go to a remote, remote estate. And for Ionin, the place was almost native – he himself lived nearby. Therefore, he agreed to conduct lessons and classes for children in the former country palace.
“I go to the colony… not as a service, but as a vacation,” Ionin wrote to his sister. So we decided to set up a small garden on the territory of the estate, and soon – to occupy its empty halls and organize an agricultural labor children’s commune.
At the beginning of the existence of the commune, it was not easy for Ionina and other enthusiastic teachers who dared to take care of difficult, and even frightened children. There was always a possibility that the guys would go on strike, refuse to work, make their way to Strelna and leave by tram for Petrograd to disappear into the stream of its streets. What to do? The adults decided: the school should switch to self-government in the best traditions of democratic pedagogy.
From the first day of the existence of the school-commune, the main issue that occupied the pupils was food: the children remembered the time of hunger and took a responsible approach to organizing the garden. Therefore, the commission for organizing catering was the first to be established, from which other self-government bodies grew, cells: agronomic, educational, library, nutrition, linen and sanitary.
The disciples – they were called “colonists” – dealt with all issues together. With the participation of adults, the children figured out exactly how to combine work and study. At the general meeting, they also chose the name for the commune – “Red Dawns”.
From I. V. Ionin’s essay “Colony School Krasnye Zori”:
“The autumn of 1921 was the time when in the history of the colony the functions of a self-governing organization were represented by written theses on self-government.
These theses were made for the guys and reported at the meeting dedicated to the meeting of the new civil year on December 31st.
They were based on the following provisions:
1) Self-government does not replace the governing bodies of the colony school.
2) The goal of the municipality is to assist the children in certain areas of the work of the colony school.
3) For this assistance, assistance cells are organized for one or another type of work of the colony school.
4) Self-government bodies are called cells and are elected by the general meeting.
5) The following cells are organized: drinking cell, bibi cell, agro cell, etc.
6) Cells are selected for six months.
7) The cells basically solve the problems of the organization, and the organization of the duty officers comes to their aid.
Labor in the “school-farm”
“In school and in the orphanage, labor, even in itself, should take pride of place. And labor needs a laboratory, and school agriculture will be, first of all, a laboratory,” wrote Ionin, who dreamed of creating not just a “school with a farm” or a “farm with a school,” but only a “school-farm”. He did not forget about this idea even when he hired teachers. When hiring, Ionin asked each subject teacher: “What else can you do, what can you teach guys, besides your subject?”
The teachers were not only responsible for the children’s grades in their subjects, but also supervised various labor areas of the commune – they were called “foremen”. All children were divided into different sectors of the economy, which they consistently studied from year to year: the fourth graders were engaged in poultry farming, the 5th grade — gardening, the 6th grade — animal husbandry and fish farming, the 8th grade — fodder and accounting. Graduates studied the general organization of the economy. All the material was considered on specific examples: “A piglet purchased, or rather, exchanged, in the middle of summer also served as the subject of a study of its growth. ”
Odnoklassniki spent all their time together, not only at work, but also during their free time. At the same time, work and study were organized in such a way that the children had time to study in circles and conduct agronomic research. Sometimes the classes traveled to Petrograd, which later became Leningrad, to theaters, museums, and excursions. More than others, they were waiting for the main, final trip, in which all the graduates of the Krasnye Dawns participated: after 9th grade children went to the Crimea.
The only difficulty in the early 1920s was that the “Krasnye Zori” still occupied “Mikhailovka” (a tasty place on the coast of the Gulf of Finland) and they invariably wanted to push the children out of there. It was planned to give the building to the geographical museum, and to close Krasnye Zori under the pretext of a small number of students. Then Ionin proposed to expand the colony. At first, only 21 children were sent, but the practice eventually became permanent – by 1925, when Mikhailovka was already firmly entrenched in the institution, 200 children studied there.
Of course, the children were immediately divided into “new” and “old”. Ionin immediately occupied all the colonists in big affairs, to which it was necessary to involve everyone indiscriminately – both only those who arrived and those who were experienced. For example, he instructed one to breed trout in ponds that needed to be cleaned before that. At the same time, Ionin himself did not shy away from work: once, having entrusted the collection of manure to fertilize the field, the director himself scooped it up with his hand. Even the most notorious hooligans, resisting the new life, could not oppose the actions of the director.
In 1925, 300 children from five closed orphanages were brought to Krasnye Zori. They were entrusted with the construction of a greenhouse under the supervision of the teachers of the colony school. The children, who could not be dealt with in five different orphanages, completed all the work in less than six months. The construction of the greenhouse united them, gave them a new goal.
Graduates of 1939
“They were not lined up for inspections”
By 1932, Krasnye Zori had turned into a huge training and labor combine. It included an orphanage for 410 pupils, day and evening schools, an agro-pedagogical college – the first institution of its kind, where teachers of agronomists were trained – organizers of school plots and educational facilities capable of teaching at school – and a rest home. All buildings, as before, were located on the territory of Mikhailovka – the farm was built on 140 hectares of land and park. Now there were not only vegetable gardens, but also stables, cowsheds, apiaries, craft workshops and even a power plant. Krasnye Zori provided for themselves, and sold the surplus in the city.
The wife of Ignaty Vyacheslavovich, a teacher of Russian language and literature, Nina Petrovna Kitaeva, was in charge of a library of 9,000 volumes. Those who did not like to read attended various sections and went in for sports.
Sometimes graduates came to Krasnye Zori who missed the utopian school surrounded by parks. Almost all children who left the commune, once considered disadvantaged, went to universities and became engineers, economists, agronomists.
The colony was also known outside the USSR. When the country was recognized by the politicians of other states, Krasnozor residents were assigned a new important task – to conduct tours of their huge farm and communicate with guests, at the same time practicing foreign languages. At 19In 31, about 4,000 people came on an excursion to Krasnye Zori, and 240 of them were foreigners from the USA, Germany, Japan, Turkey, France and England.
One of the first guests of the school-commune was the philosopher and teacher, the creator of the project system John Dewey, who in his essay “Impressions of Soviet Russia” described the phenomenon of “Krasnye Zor” as follows:
“There is nothing surprising or unique. I do not regard them as evidence of any special concern of the Bolshevik government for children. Rather, as a testament to the innate quality of Russians – it makes a much more impressive impression than I can put into words.
Nowhere in the world have I seen so many smart, happy, smart kids
They were never lined up for inspections. We walked around the territory of the colony and found them everywhere doing various summer activities – gardening, beekeeping, repairing buildings, a greenhouse for flowers (it was built and now the most difficult guys work in it, who destroyed everything that came to their hand), making simple tools and agricultural implements and so on.
I was impressed not so much by what they did as by their behavior, attitude to everything that happens – I can’t convey it, I just don’t have enough literary skill, but the impression will remain forever.
Gradually, urban schoolchildren were also sent to the colony school on vouchers. The institution grew but showed no signs of decay. It seemed that life in Krasnye Zori settled down forever, perfectly illustrating the dreams of Soviet people about socialism.
Teachers of the Krasnye Dawns colony school (I. V. Ionin is sitting on the left)
“It’s better to die than to lie down”
In 1937, Ignatiy Vyacheslavovich Ionin and six other teachers of the Krasnye Zori were arrested on charges of “Trotskyism” . The director was tried under the “execution” of the 58th article, but at the trial he did not say a word in his defense. He just quoted a Chinese proverb “Sitting is better than standing, lying down is better than sitting, dying is better than lying down…” He spent two months on death row, and then he suddenly found out about the mitigation of the sentence – Ignatiy Vyacheslavovich was sent to camps for 10 years.
The former inspector Leskov, whom Ionin knew well, was soon appointed to the director’s place. From the conclusion, he wrote that he was very happy with the new appointment, loves everyone and rejoices that the “Red Dawns” still exist. He died on February 19, 1939 in a camp hospital, without having served even half of his sentence.
Soon the Great Patriotic War began. Most of the Krasnozor residents – already too old to be considered children in wartime – went to the front. The new director and some teachers also left there. Primary school students went to the Yaroslavl region for evacuation, and only high school students remained in Krasnye Zori – they had to harvest. At the end of August, the girls moved to the building of the Institute for Blind Children, where they became “orphanage”, and not “Krasnozor”.
Throughout the autumn and winter, the girls took in new orphaned children – there was enough food only because the former pupils of the “Krasnye Zor” still had prepared products of their own harvest. Not a single child died in the orphanage, and in 1942 all the children were evacuated from the besieged city over the ice.
“While our hearts are beating”
“It was a breakthrough into our future,” teacher and founder of the communitarian movement Igor Petrovich Ivanov said about Krasnye Zori. Creating his “pedagogy of cooperation”, he was guided by the experience of both the commune of Anton Makarenko and the school-colony of Ignatius Ionin.
Communard detachments officially appeared in 1963 – the beginning of their history was laid by the first All-Union Gathering of young Communards in the legendary Orlyonok camp. The organization was an association of teenagers and adults who held summer labor camps together. There they were engaged in the same thing as the Krasnozorians once did – manual labor.
“Communards perceived their behavior and way of life as communist, and the commune as a kind of embodiment of communism that had already arrived,” wrote Darya Dimke, a researcher of the communitarian movement.
Focusing on the experience of Makarenko and Ionin, Ivanov considered the most important thing in organizing the education and living together of children not at all their independence, but the care of each for each. And he believed that his idols were able to create just such an atmosphere of community, warmth and “commonwealth of different generations” in their own communes.
As for Krasnye Zor, the history of the colony school has not ended. In 1949, an orphanage under the same name reappeared in Leningrad, and in 1961, a boarding school with a special working regime for children who had poliomyelitis appeared on its basis.
The Krasnye Zori boarding school, which implements adapted educational programs, still exists. Mikhailovskaya Dacha, where Krasnye Zori was originally located, is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but is partially abandoned.
Ignatiy Vyacheslavovich Ionin was rehabilitated in 1990.
<…>
Of course, time heals early,
But in order to repay the debt in full,
It would be nice to perpetuate
All the “Krasnozor” names:
So that the names of the heroes
Cast on bronze slabs,
And these slabs in Krasnye Zori
Set up in a conspicuous place.
While we are sailing the sea of life,
While our hearts are beating,
To our dear “Red Dawns”
We will be faithful to the end.

No phone and YouTube. What do they teach in high security school? | SOCIETY
Bright and spacious classroom. On the walls are teaching aids. On the board is the topic of today’s essay: “How do I see my future.”
“Pay attention, here are the words: “I see”. Each of you sees your future in your own way, and this should be written about. How do we write an essay? Introduction, main body, conclusion. The essay must be at least 250 words. First, we write on a draft. We start working, then we’ll check it and we’ll write a clean copy,” gives parting words 10 “B” Russian language teacher Alexei Safronov.
And the students of the “high security school” start the task. All of them have been convicted and are serving sentences for serious crimes, while their class is behind bars in correctional colony No. 13 in the village of Zaozernoe.
Certificate at the age of 47
Aleksey Safronov has been teaching convicted students for 15 years. Prior to that, he worked for 25 years in a regular school “outside”.
“I like being a teacher here and working with convicts. My students are adults, it is interesting with them, they have life experience, thanks to which I can learn something from them. I’m tired of working with small children, it’s hard with 5-6 graders, so I changed my job at the time. And here – the discipline is ideal, no one provokes, a controversial issue has arisen – we calmly discuss it. No one is on their phones in class – students listen and learn,” says Alexey Safronov.
From the outside, a school behind bars doesn’t differ much from a regular one: well-equipped classrooms, a teacher’s room, a stand with lesson schedules and useful information in the hallway, and even an honors board with portraits of the three best students. The supply manager, a graduate who graduated from school last year, keeps order.
In total, there are nine teachers in evening school No. 12, as well as the head teacher and director, who also teach lessons. The school was opened in 1964, and since 2013 it has been located in three correctional institutions: women’s IK-12, men’s strict regime IK-13, and colony-settlement KP-22. 59 people study behind bars this yearpeople, and about 15 – voluntarily. These are those who are over 30 years of age (the younger ones are required to complete a school education by law). There are no age restrictions: teachers also remember the 47-year-old graduate.

Boss instead of mother
“When I came to my first lesson in 2005, the students asked me: “how do you feel about us?” And I answered them: “I don’t know why you are here, and I don’t read the Criminal Code. For me, you are schoolchildren, students. And that’s the way it is. It is very important to abstract, otherwise the teacher may not be able to continue working. Such cases happen: the teacher left after learning that one of her promising students committed murder and plans to repeat after her release. Therefore, it is better not to know,” says director of evening school No. 12 Tatyana Nesterova . She teaches English in IK-12 and IK-13.

“At the very beginning, when I came to teach convicts, I worked part-time, remaining in a regular school. I remember how my second graders were surprised when I started to address them as “you”, already getting used to my adult students. But I want to say that it is easier and more interesting with adult students,” notes Tatyana Nesterova.
If the students do not want to study at all and skip classes, then not the mother is called to school, but the head of the detachment.
“But I want to say that there are times when parents, and even grandparents called us to find out about the success of their students,” notes history teacher Elena Dudkova .
Convicts love how history teacher Elena Dudkova talks about the past. Photo: AiF/ Yulia Mikhaleva
This year IK-13 has eighth grade, tenth grade, three eleventh grades and a twelfth grade (provided by the program of evening schools). And in the women’s colony there is also an elementary school. Now there are eight third-graders over 40 years old. Having lost their freedom, they learned to read, write and mastered basic mathematical operations.
While writing an essay in the Russian language class, computer science is going on in the natural science class. One of the students masters the basics of using Word, the second gets acquainted with e-mail.
“About two years ago, the Internet was installed in IK-12 and IK-13. The line is dedicated, only educational resources are technically available for visiting – for example, the same YouTube cannot be opened. But still, there is no end to those who want to learn how to work on the Internet. Although, in general, computer science and the study of computers do not arouse such enthusiasm: you have to inspire,” says computer science teacher Dmitry Shulgevich.
With the advent of the Internet in the colony, interest in computer science has grown significantly. Photo: AiF / Yulia Mikhaleva
“The future is unpredictable”
The Russian language lesson, meanwhile, is coming to an end. Someone copes even before the end of the lesson, and even manages to count the number of words. “347,” written in neat calligraphy.
“I will finish school and go here to study to be a cook. Why cook? Because you will always be full, both yourself and your family, and you will be paid well.” “My future looks unpredictable to me.” “I want my beloved wife and children to meet me when I come home from work. I will give my son to sports in my footsteps, and my daughter would like to become an artist”, “I want to find my muse,” the students wrote.
Many of them in their writings express concern about finding work in freedom, and most write about the family.

And 37-year-old tenth-grader Alexander Vigovsky wrote about how he would build a house outside the city for his family – his wife and 14-year-old daughter. He is one of the best students, the pride of the school: his portrait is placed on the honor roll. He studies voluntarily at his own request.
“I graduated from the wild 9classes, and there is a profession – an excavator-bulldozer operator. But here I started studying from the 8th in order to get a complete education without gaps and continue to study. My favorite subject is history. Elena Yuryevna tells so interestingly, brightly and colorfully. It is very interesting to listen to her and learn about how people lived in the old days, how collective farms appeared, how everything developed and changed,” says convict Alexander Vigovsky .

He is sentenced to 20 years 6 months in high security for the murders. Behind bars for 8 years already: “In the village, I was a drunken hooligan, ran with a knife, scared three people, wounded them slightly. A day later, another dead man was found.”
Says that at first it seemed that 20.5 years is an incredibly long time, the time of which will never end, but then it flowed faster and now it flies.
“During this time, before my eyes, two people have already left and returned here again. How can you not appreciate your life and the opportunity to come out of here and start it all over again?”
24-year-old Maksim Korsachev has been in prison for two years for selling a synthetic drug – “speed”. According to him, he tried himself, but did not become a drug addict. There are still 2.5 years ahead.
“I got a profession as a welder, but I want to graduate. I love the Russian language and computer science. When I go out, I dream of opening my own workshop. And back to sports. In the wild, I played football and taekwondo, and here I play on the football team.

FAQs
AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Lee Highway KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Kindergarten Programs (5-6 Years)
Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.
Before- and After-School Programs (5-12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5-12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3-12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Mandarin
A limited number of our centers offer a bilingual immersion preschool program featuring
Mandarin and English, created in collaboration with leading foreign language educators.
Children will have the opportunity to learn Mandarin through stimulating, age-appropriate,
hands-on activities. Using this creative approach, children enhance their
skills in a second language in the same natural way they learned their first language.
Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
Spanish
Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.
Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!
A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.
Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
In case you didn’t know, your attentive teachers in the Infant room noticed one Monday morning earlier this month that my son wasn’t himself and investigated right away by taking his temperature. Management called me right away when it was discovered he was running a fever (101.3). The Infant teachers continued to take his temperature while I was en route to pick him up. When I got there 45 minutes later his fever had gone up even more (102.3). I ended up having to take him to the emergency room, where a chest x-ray revealed he had pneumonia. What a relief to know that the Infant room folks know my son well enough with him being there just two days a week on average to notice a problem right away and taking action right away rather than assuming he was just cranky and/or tired and letting it go! It feels good to know that your team is looking out for my son’s well being when I can’t be there. Thank you.
Michelle H. – KinderCare Parent
My daughter is in the two-year-old room. Although she has loved her time in the Toddler room, I can see her blossoming more and more each day. I noticed a difference in her communication, daily activities and stories that she loves to share with her brother and me. When she gets home she says, “Mommy, let’s talk!” and she proceeds by naming all of the people who are her friends, including the teachers in that room. They have truly made a difference in my family’s life and I love being a part of this school. Thank you!
Diane L. – KinderCare Parent
We have both of our children in KinderCare and love the staff. Our daughter has special needs and we were very particular about her teachers and the classroom. Her teachers treat her so wonderfully. She loves to come to school and we are so grateful for the teachers and how they have helped us with this transition every day!
Michelle L. – KinderCare Parent
My son is in the Kindergarten class with Ms. Rebecca. He has learned so much and my experience has been so wonderful with all of the management and his teacher that I am delighted to add my second child to their school. I am looking forward to continuing my relationship in the years to come. Thanks!
Mrs. N – KinderCare Parent
KinderCare center is an excellent place to trust our little ones with. Neat and clean place, full of learning for toddlers. Director and staff of center are a group of professional and fantastic educators. Always helpful and extremely caring. I trust you all with my grand kids. Thank you!

There is a scandal in America, even people who are usually tolerant of so-called non-traditional values are outraged. In North Carolina, they announced a family holiday, but it turned out that people were called to a gay pride parade. However, they also found entertainment for children.
Such stories are not uncommon in America lately. More recently, Texas also held a holiday for young children. They put on a transvestite show. And then they also said: the children are happy, there are no objections.
Gay parade in Vancouver, Canada announced that a four-year-old girl will become a boy. Nearby is a contented mother: she got her moment of fame.
