FAQs
AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Woodcreek KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5-12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5-12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3-12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!
Dance Adventures
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.
Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!
A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.
Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
My son has been attending KinderCare since he was an infant. He is now enrolled in the School Age program. We have had such an amazing experience with this center. As a working parent, I always wrestled with the guilt of having to place my son in daycare. Knowing my little one was at KinderCare made all the difference. In each and every stage of his development, through every classroom and every teacher I knew my son was in good hands. He was learning, making friends, and having fun! When my son started kindergarten, it was no surprise to me that he excelled in his class. His time at KinderCare fully prepared him to not only excel academically but also socially. I would 100% recommend this center to my friends and family.
Thank you to all of the KinderCare staff that have helped shape my son into the loving, caring smart little man that he is!

Haute Couture Marriage – Weekend
Paul Thomas Anderson’s film (“Oil”, “Magnolia”) is released, competing for an Oscar in six categories (best film, direction, male and female roles, soundtrack and costumes). Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, head of the Reynolds Woodcock fashion house (he won one of his three Oscars for Oil), who announced that this role would be the last in his film career

Reynolds Woodcock is a gray-haired, thin, aging bachelor, sheathing blue-blooded ladies on both sides of the English Channel. He learned his craft from his late mother, whom he idolizes. He does business in partnership with the old maid Cyril, whom he calls only “my old friend.” Cyril is actually Reynolds’ sister. Their ideal union is broken from time to time by another muse brought into the house by Reynolds. For a long time, these women, who always require heartfelt participation, however, do not linger.
Not like Alma, the tall, broad-shouldered, waddling waitress that Reynolds meets at a country restaurant. She quickly learns not to rustle (literally: any harsh sound, especially during breakfast, infuriates Reynolds – as, indeed, everything unplanned, sudden, beyond his control), finds a common language with Cyril and, with professional pedantry, observes everything familiar to her obsessive lover ( and later – to her husband) orders. At some point, of course, Alma will get tired of being servants and moving furniture in his perfectly managed house. We will not give away the main secret of the film, we will only note that Alma manages to involve her husband in an eccentric ritual that reinforces the gender division of roles in this already exaggeratedly patriarchal family performance.
Phantom Thread is not so much a film about high fashion as it is about relationships. Or rather, about their low, non-front doors, pushed into the semi-darkness of the bedrooms and bathrooms from the inside out. The secret, the truth hidden under the front side, sewn under the lining, is the central image of this film. Under the legs of his conservative trousers, Reynolds wears provocative pink socks, keeps a portrait of his mother in the lining of his smart jackets, and sews secret messages to his seamstresses and clients into the folds of his dresses. In the same way, director Paul Thomas Anderson – once again – builds his film as a system of disguise. The director, whose main feature in his filmography was the film adaptation of a great American novel (Oil! Upton Sinclair), has since been engaged in a constant, almost baroque complication of the narrative, moving his films away from the digestible Hollywood tripartite towards a complex monumental form overloaded with scenario twists and turns. Anderson’s interest in extravagant, passionate heroes is also close to the baroque aesthetics – types that have no place in today’s world that values social subordination and correctness. This defiant anachronism of the protagonist, his hopeless romanticism, however, is usually hidden under a scrupulously built realistic facade, neutral and ambiguous, as if telling the viewer that life is not so simple.
In this context, the London tailor Woodcock is twice the eccentric and three times the outsider. He not only clashes with the coming world of mass production, standardization and pop culture – he also stands out from the line of Anderson’s usual heroes, not just Americans, but residents of California. With his snobbish suaveness, his ability to avoid direct confrontation, this character is completely congenial to Anderson the director, using the heavy machine of realism with a mass of minute details (breakfast menu, endless like a list of ships, crunching toast, hissing butter in a frying pan with chanterelles, the routine of the work cycle of a fashion house , as if everyday conversations, each word in which the screenwriter weighed ten times, close-ups of Day-Lewis sewing and taking measurements, who specially studied the basics of tailoring in the tailoring shops of the theater) – to hide the articulated, direct statement. Endless close-ups of faces, hands, seams, interiors cluttered with expensive utensils and bouquets – all this seems to hide from us – and from Alma – the ephemeral, intangible, ghostly nature of Reynolds’ obsession with his work. More precisely – introspection, reflections, meditations on sketches of female figures in dresses. He always eludes his women, refuses to see them as people – only objects, hangers for the clothes he invented. But also his own essence eludes Alma, hidden behind countless rituals, routine, behind the regime of silence, behind a well-groomed face, tense with thought.
The tragedy of each of the heroes is the impossibility of contact with the other, the impossibility to open the seams and find out what is inside. Alma’s main rival in her sophisticated conquest of her husband is not a jealous sister, not the ghost of her mother, who appears to Reynolds in moments of spiritual decline, but an invisible spirit that wakes Reynolds every day at four in the morning and drives him from show to show, from collection to collection, from a woman to a woman.

Hodge Patterson, CEO
Our History
The Santa Monica Family YMCA was first incorporated on April 19, 1901. The Santa Monica Family YMCA had its second start at a meeting held June 13, 1927 in the cafeteria of Santa Monica High School. Under the leadership of Dr. C. H. Lewis, our first president, the Y embarked upon a mission to establish a place where local residents could share “friendship and faith.”
Through the Great Depression and other financially troubled times, the Y offered many youth and adult activities including high school clubs, basketball leagues, and Indian Guide programs. Our first “real” home was at Third and California. In 1946, the Sixth Street property was purchased for our expanding needs. Thanks to a successful capital campaign, the YMCA in partnership with the YWCA opened the doors to its new facility on January 15, 1950.
The Y continued to grow with additional purchases and the development of Camp Big Bear. Other notable events were the founding of the Y”s Men”s Breakfast and Evening Clubs, our separation from the YWCA, and the official incorporation of the word “Family” into our name.
In 1983, the Y opened the Ralph W. Kiewit Fitness Center, the first part of a three-phase plan to enlarge existing facilities. Included in the Kiewit Center were a new fitness area with Nautilus equipment, a multi-purpose room for fitness and aerobic classes, and more space for our growing childcare programs.
1989 saw the grand opening of Phase II, which added the lap and teaching pools, two multi-purpose rooms, fitness center, and outdoor walking track.
In 2002, the Phase III Expansion project was completed to include a new gymnasium, racquetball courts, child watch center, computer lab, Teen and Senior Centers, weight room, and new Child Development Center.

Tennessee is home to 21 species of frogs and toads.
What is the difference between a frog and toad? In general:
Frogs have smooth moist skin, can jump very well, and usually are found close to a water source even as adults.
Toads have dry warty skin, make short hops, and may be found far from water as adults. However, technically toads are frogs! Frogs and toads belong to the group of animals known as amphibians.

Amphibians from Around the World
Tennessee Amphibian Monitoring Program
Amphibians
Amphibians are the class of vertebrate animals containing the Anura (frogs and toads), Urodeles or Caudata (salamanders and sirens), and the lesser known Gymnophiona (caecilians) which do not occur in North America.
Amphibians are ectothermic (cold-blooded), have smooth porous skin, primarily fertilize their eggs externally and do not have a hard shell or membrane around the eggs.
The word amphibian comes from the Greek language and means “dual life.” This refers to the lifestyle practiced by many amphibians. The adults are primarily terrestrial (land-dwelling) and the larva (tadpoles) are mainly aquatic (live in water).
Male frogs gather at the breeding pools and begin to vocalize (call) to attract females. Females arrive at the breeding sites and seek out the most attractive males. Those males with the deepest voices and the longest calls attract the most females.
Larger frogs have deeper voices and those frogs that are the largest and have the longest calls are the most fit. A male grasps a female from behind and grips her behind her front legs and hangs on until mating is completed (amplexus). During amplexus, the female expels her eggs and the male releases sperm into the water to fertilize them. This type of fertilization is called external fertilization.
The eggs are laid in jelly-like masses in groups of a few to as many as several hundred depending upon the species. The egg cells of each embryo begin to divide into more cells (egg cell cleavage) and grow to form the tadpole. The eggs hatch within a few days.
Tadpoles remain in the water a few weeks for most species, and up to 2 years for other species, before they metamorphose. Metamorphosis is the process in which a tadpole changes into a frog.
Population Information
Natural extinctions and population fluctuations are a normal part of nature. Scientists have uncovered five mass extinctions throughout the history of earth. But the accelerated rate at which many species are now declining and disappearing is very alarming to the scientific community. It is believed we are now in the sixth mass extinction event; the first ever caused by the actions of a single species, humankind. During the past couple decades, scientists have become concerned that many of our amphibian populations are declining and some species have become extinct in areas of the world that are relatively undisturbed by man. Below are but a few examples of the many declines and extinctions of the past two decades:
The golden toad (Bufo periglenes) was first discovered in the remote and pristine cloud forests of the Monteverde Preserve of Costa Rica in 1967. This toad was very unusual because it was sexually dimorphic (the sexes could easily be identified.) The last golden toad ever seen was in 1987 and they have now been declared extinct.
The northern gastric brooding frog (Rheobatrachus vitellinus) of Australia was discovered in 1984 and last seen in the wild in 1985 following the fate of the closely related gastric brooding frog (Rheobatrachus silus) that was discovered in Australia in 1973 and had disappeared by 1981. These unusual frogs brooded their young in their stomachs and were of interest to the scientific and medical community as they ceased [Chiricahua leopard frog] producing hydrochloric acid in the stomach when they were brooding young frogs.
In the United States, populations of the western toad (Bufo boreas) and Chiricahua leopard frog (Rana chiricahuensis) have plummeted by 80%, the mountain yellow-legged frog (Rana mucosa) has disappeared from much of its range, and recent surveys to find the Yosemite toad (Bufo canoris) in Yosemite National Park were fruitless. Two species, the relic leopard frog (Rana onca) and the Wyoming toad (Bufo baxteri) are on the brink of becoming extinct in the wild and the Vegas Valley leopard frog (Rana fisheri), last seen in 1942, is now extinct.
Population declines and extinctions are not the only problems facing amphibians today. Scientists have noted an increase in reports of malformations. Scientists believe there are three main factors contributing to the increase in malformations: increases in UV-B radiation because of the thinning ozone layer, chemical pollution (insecticides and pesticides), and parasites (chytrid fungus). These factors combined with a weakened immune system due to environmental stressors, can increase the number of malformations found in a population. Malformations come in many forms ranging from missing limbs, bones and eyes, to extra limbs, digits and eyes. Few, if any, of these malformed amphibians survive to reproduce. Tennessee does not appear to have an abnormal number of malformations, but we need to be watchful. For more information about malformations, including state maps showing reported malformations, visit the North American Reporting Center for Amphibian Malformations.
Amphibians, including the frogs and toads, around for over 360 million years, survived the mass extinction event that killed the dinosaurs. Below is relative time scale showing geologic history and when the amphibians first appeared.
Some Identified Causes of Amphibian Declines Around the World
Increased UV radiation due to ozone depletion (montane species which breed in open water are most at risk.)
Chemical pollution (including fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides and herbicides.)
Climate change, both temporary and long term (temporary changes include, drought and flood; long term changes include changes in wind patterns, rain patterns and especially global warming.)
Disease (chytrid fungus has been implicated in the decline of many species.)
Increased predation (cats, coyotes and some introduced species are major predators of tadpoles, frogs and other wildlife. )
Introduction of exotic species, including plants (native species often lose out when having to compete with exotic species, and native plants can use up resources, like water, that are needed by amphibians.)
Land use policies (stocking fish in amphibian habitat, installation of dams, planting of non-native plants.)
Habitat loss and degradation (including agriculture, construction, logging, urbanization and mining.)
Habitat fragmentation (division of a habitat by roadways, housing developments and other impenetrable barriers.)

I have had my child enrolled at this center for the last 14 months. My family couldn’t possibly be more pleased with this center. My child comes home every night speaking english, spanish AND sign language. Kids R Kids is the best thing to happen to my 16 month old. When I read the posts previous to this one I was appauled, I cannot believe someone would take time out of their day to lie. This facility gets my highest rating, I am their biggest fan for what they have done for my daughter

Fathers and sons – Bank shot – Blogs
Basketball fever is often inherited. From father to son. Steel character and professionalism are already in the genes. It remains only to continue the family tradition. The Bank Shot blog on Sports.ru remembers the most famous fathers and children who played in the NBA.
You can’t teach to be tall, but if your father played in the NBA, then with a high degree of probability you will get excellent physical data and a first-class protégé who will help you make the first (and often second and third) step in professional basketball.
It’s always interesting to watch the heir to a great player try his hand at the best league in the world. Often, from the genius of the father, the son gets only a surname, a long first step and a couple of tricks learned in the backyard. But there are also reverse examples, when the sports achievements of the father became a springboard for the offspring’s victorious career.
It won’t be easy to remember everyone, but it’s worth trying.
Rick Barry and Brent, Drew and John Barry
The most famous dynasty in the NBA. Most often they talk about Rick and Brent – two great snipers from different eras. The first is a real legend from the 60s. Eight All-Star Games, Rookie of the Year title, then a dashing 70s, NBA title with Golden State and Finals MVP award. Barry constantly changed his game, improved. He came to the league as a great rebounder and scorer and only then became a phenomenal sniper and assistant. His free throw is just a song. And despite the fact that Rick, with his “grandmother’s” technique, practically did not miss from the line.
His middle son Brent – contrary to fairy tales – was most like his father. The same big-headed, deadly from a three-point distance. He was always one of those guys who was trusted to take the decisive shot. And not anyone trusted him, but Gregg Popovich himself: as part of San Antonio, Brent twice won the champion title, outdoing his father in this. Winning the slam dunk contest in 1996 is a bonus to a great career.
John and Drew are most often said to be the two sons of the famous Hall of Famer Rick Barry and one of the top 50 players in NBA history. Agree, not the worst feature. The youngest of the family (Drew) was dusting in the league at the turn of the 2000s, lit up with Atlanta, Seattle and Golden State. Senior (John) is a narrow special, a role player who could score 12 points in 3 minutes, finish the match twice in a row with statistics of 5 three-pointers and 5 interceptions, and then fall out of the main clip. Over the 12 years of his career, John changed 8 teams, but one thing was never in doubt – his throw. It’s in the Barry family’s blood.
Brent and John now work as commentators and TV pundits and, together with other former players, make the NBA better and more understandable for mere mortals.
Bill Walton and Luke Walton
William Theodore Walton 3rd, Big Red Head, Big Bill, Man-Mountain – as soon as the legendary Portland center was not called. He is considered a home in San Diego and Boston, despite the fact that, for example, in the Celtics, he spent only two seasons at the end of his career and most often came off the bench. Unlike his son, Bill could choose his favorite color. Rumor has it that the question “yellow or green?” he was helped to answer by Larry Bird. The Celtic legend hinted to Walton on the phone that Lakers general manager Jerry West was hesitant and waiting for a report from the doctors, while the Celtics were ready to accept a center in any condition into their ranks. As a result, Bill added another title and the title of the best sixth player to the title of NBA champion and MVP of the regular season.
At home, instead of tiles, Walt Sr. has a picture of the old Boston Garden arena in his kitchen, while his son sits on the bench of his worst enemy and waves a (often yellow) towel. A crooked grin of fate?
Luke’s career – successful in college – stalled in the NBA at the stage of “role player who did not live up to expectations. ” All the Lakers fans are trying to trade Walton’s contract in the trade machine, and the player himself has long wanted something more than five trash minutes in the contender.
Joe Bryant and Kobe Bryant
In contrast, the Bryant family. The father is an ordinary forward who missed the league for eight seasons, and then left for Italy in search of a better life. The son is the best player of our time, who inherited only cat plasticity, stylish turns and natural charm.
Joe was called “Marmalade”, he scored through Karim, averaged at least 11 points per season (with the Philadelphia, Clippers and Houston), in Italy he gave scoring performances twice (53 points per game in part of the Pistoia), but he is doomed to remain in history as “the father of Kobe Bryant, five-time NBA champion.”
Henry Bibby and Mike Bibby
The Bibby family is a great example of more than just being tall. Father – 185 cm, son – 188 cm, but at the same time both made excellent careers at the university level, played in the NBA ((Henry even became a champion in the Knicks). No. 2 in the 1998 Draft, and almost his entire career, he was a starter, scoring decisive shots, breaking fast breaks and fighting for the highest places. In the company of Divac, Webber and Stojakovic, it could not be otherwise.0005
It was more difficult for my father. Despite being part of John Wooden’s legendary Bruins (88 straight wins), Henry had to climb to the stars from the 4th round (58 picks). But he was also lucky with partners – Willis Reel, Walt Frazier, Dave DeBusher, Bill Bradley, Earl Monroe and Jerry Lucas got together in 1973 in order to win the first championship for New York. Later, in Philadelphia, Henry Bibby will have a chance to win the title almost alone, but both times (in 1977 and 1980) his team was inferior in the final.
Jimmy Walker and Jalen Rose
On the streets of Boston in the early 60s, you could learn more than basic hand-to-hand combat. Jimmy Walker was the most famous streetball player in the city (although they were probably called differently back then). The guy spent days on the set, missing such important moments in his life as schooling, first love, drugs on the street and unwanted companies. The only memory I have of Boston Trade High School is meeting Sam Jones, a future Celtics player. Walker was placed at Providence University by his uncle, who knew the team’s coach, Joe Mullany. From that moment on, Jimmy’s life changed – he was noticed. 50 points against Bob Cosey’s team, the MVP at Madison Square Garden – and now the guy from the street becomes the main character of college basketball. Draft 19’67 is the first time that territorial picks have ceased to operate (under the old rules, Walker would have ended up in Boston with his old friend with Sam Jones). And so, under the first number, he was chosen by Detroit, and all that Walker could achieve was two All-Star Games, and 17 points on average per season. As the player himself later admitted, he often lacked motivation, and sometimes even desire.
His son Jalen became famous long before he played his first game in the NBA. The legendary “Fab Five” from Michigan (Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juven Howard, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson) are the very bad guys who left no one indifferent.
The NBA also remembered Rose. Basically, of course, according to scandalous statements in the press and a conflict with Larry Brown (the player was even called “Mr. DNPСD” – Did Not Play – Coach’s Decision), but when everyone finally decided that Rose would bring the most benefit to the light forward position , he shone in Indiana. The 1996-2000 seasons were the best in the striker’s career.
Gerald Wilkins and Damien Wilkins
The former can’t be seen behind Patrick Ewing’s broad back. But it was Gerald Wilkins who was the second highest scoring “knickerbocker” in the late 80s.
No coincidence, Hawks legend Dominic Wilkens is Gerald’s brother. The family has a high jump by default. And the Knicks guard also had an excellent shot – Gerald Wilkins became famous as one of the most ruthless clutch shooters of his time. But, of course, he was far from his brother.
Son Damien is a pale shadow of his father and uncle. In the draft he was not noticed, despite the pedigree. The Summer League gave the sniper a second chance in the form of a contract with Seattle. After the departure of Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen, he even got a starter spot and broke out in a match that scored 41 points and 9rebounds, but this was not even enough to subsequently become part of the rotation of the NBA club. Now Damien is surviving on 10-day contracts, and was last seen in Atlanta.
Mike Dunleavy Sr. and Mike Dunleavy Jr.
One name for two, one destiny. Both are always missing something. Senior – good luck. The youngest – stability.
Father’s career was short – he can only be remembered in San Antonio (72 games, 7.8 points, 5. 5 assists, 1.7 rebounds). In Milwaukee, Houston, and Philadelphia, the defenseman diligently treated a chronic lower back injury that ultimately ended his career. That didn’t stop Dunleavy from returning to the league as a manager (something many regret) and is still associated with Clippers failures, an unmanageable Zach Randolph and various anti-records.
The son does not yet show interest in coaching, and this helps to evaluate Dunleavy Jr. more objectively. The versatile Duke soldier who won the NCAA title in 2000 received too many compliments and still can’t justify himself. Dunleavy is an excellent sniper, with a golden hand and a cold heart if he catches a shot. Otherwise, he is one of the main reasons for the defeat of his team.
Ronald Brewer and Ronnie Brewer
Brewer Sr. selected in the 19 draft78 just behind Larry Bird. They believed in him more than, for example, in Reggie Theus and Morris Cheeks. But already in the first season, the defender showed his maximum (13. 3 points and a place in the top five rookies). There was no further progress, and Ronald Brewer chose the unenviable role of a traveler – he changed 6 teams in 8 years. “My son is my pride. He is the only thing I have achieved in my life. I think he will be better than me, ”the father gave the first advances to Brewer Jr.
Ronnie is now cementing the Chicago back court, replacing Keith Boganz, who is only nominally the Bulls’ starting number two. An athletic, bouncy defender is one of those who can defend against any opponent, support a fast break, help on rebounds. Only problems with the shot prevent Brewer from becoming a truly great player for a contender team.
Dolph Shaze and Danny Shaze
This couple is often forgotten, but only because Danny Shaze did not have the zeal, and maybe talent, to even come close to his father’s fame.
Dolph is a Philadelphia legend and, forgive us Allen Iverson and his fans, the most decorated player in history. It was impossible to defend against him – a throw with a rainbow trajectory was deadly accurate and almost inaccessible to defenders. For this, Shaze was nicknamed “Satellite”. At the very beginning of his career, he broke his wrist and was forced to throw with one hand all season. He adapted, brought this element to perfection. As part of the “76s” he won the championship title (1955), led the team in rebounding for several seasons and went to Star Weekend 12 times. A place among the 50 best players in the history of the NBA Dolph Shayz rightfully deserved.
His son Danny’s career is best described by the report of one of the scouts. “This guy looks like Dolph but throws like his mom.” Of course, it wasn’t all that bad. An excellent career in Syracuse, then the 1987/88 season with the Nuggets, during which the forward scored more than 13 points and 8 rebounds per game. He was constantly afraid of making a mistake, threw with a high percentage (64) and could not stand comparisons with his father, because of whose shadow he never saw the sun.
Scott May and Sean May
Scott May is an Indiana University legend. The striker was so indispensable that Bobby Knight in 1975 released him to the match against Kentucky with a broken arm (although Indiana still lost and could not get into the Final Four). Scott May survived the defeat and the next season, having received the title of player of the year, he secured the championship for his university. Then there was the triumphant 1976 Olympics, which traditionally ended for the Americans with a golden shower. In the NBA, May played for the Bulls and spent eight good seasons in the league, averaging 10.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
Sean May is like a copy of my father. A prominent role in the North Carolina team, an NCAA championship, a bag of expectations and compliments, a great position in the draft. But this family seems to be made for college basketball. Sean never found himself in the NBA. He wanders around the “benches”, suffers from excess weight, heals sores. After six years of wandering, he tied himself with a contract with the Turkish “Ulker”.
Dell Curry and Stephen Curry
Reminds me of the new Where Amazing Happens commercial.
A father teaches his son how to properly straighten his arm, turn his hand after a throw – these are the basics of basketball and if they are taught at an early age, then the child, with due diligence, will develop first-class technique.
Same as Stephen Curry. Rivals in the NBA have already figured out that leaving this guy unattended is like death. All fears that the point guard would not take root in a league where athletic defenders rule the ball did not materialize. Curry has his own trump cards, and now it’s impossible to say for sure who the Golden State management is afraid of losing more – a talented sophomore or Monta Ellis.
Stephen’s father had a harder time. In the NBA, he raised virgin soil – fate threw the defender into a new team from Charlotte – the Hornets, where Curry left the bench, but at the same time was considered one of the leaders. He wrote a new team history and is still the leader in games played, points scored and three-point shots. As a reward – a prize for the best sixth player of the 1993/1994 season.
Dell Curry now works in television, commentating on Bobcats matches and advertising his son, who really deserves it, at every opportunity.
***
This is where the stories of the rich and famous end, but that doesn’t mean father-son duos didn’t exist in the NBA anymore. The scale of personalities and the level of involvement with the best league in the world are changing, but the fact remains.
Stan Love and Kevin Love . The son was only truly recognized this season, when he set a record for double-doubles and rolled up to the All-Star Game, and his father spent three incomplete seasons in the league, having noted in the application of the Lakers and Baltimore.
Tito Horford and Al Horford . Tito’s father is known as the first player from the Dominican Republic in the NBA. He played really for a short time (only three seasons) and not very successfully, which does not prevent Tito from giving everyone advice and begging the Hawks management to use his son Al as a power forward.
George Karl and Kobi Karl . We know the first one better as a good old-school coach who has never won a championship. The second – as a burden for all clubs in the league.
Carl has only played 33 games in the NBA with San Antonio (before that the team played in the ABA), and his son Kobe is far from Kobe and all he has managed to achieve so far is to be photographed in the Lakers uniform.
Wesley Matthews Sr. and Wesley Matthews Jr. . Utah fans still cannot understand why the management parted ways with Wesley Matthews so easily. The guy came out of nowhere – undrafted, with an excellent ammo load for playing in the NBA. The sophomore is now frolicking at the Rose Garden and helping everyone come to terms with Brandan Roy’s injuries.
Wes’s father won the title twice in nine seasons in the NBA (with the Lakers), changed from half a dozen teams, but never found himself in the league – players with a height of 185 cm were always difficult in the NBA.
LeRon Ellis and LeRoy Ellis . My father’s best years were spent with the Lakers, where he became a champion in 1972 and won a record 33 wins with the team, helping out to the best of his ability on rebounding and defense. Three of Ellis’s four children followed in his footsteps. Daughter Lisa played for California and Kentucky, eldest son LeRoy Junior was marked in the second division of the NCAA, and LeRon Ellis, after two successful seasons in Kentucky and Syracuse, was selected in the draft-1991 at number 22 by the Clippers and spent three incomplete seasons in the NBA.
Bob Ferry and Danny Ferry . His father played ten seasons in the NBA with Atlanta, Detroit, and Baltimore in the 60s, while his son was bald and tall with a desire to shoot 3-pointers with Cleveland and San Antonio.
Walter Jones and Askiya Jones . Jones Sr. managed to put together a good career in the NBA. The diminutive point guard made the All-Rookie Team in his first season as a Bullets player, then played on Wilt Chamberlain’s team, backcourt with Hal Greer. Sixers in season-1966/1967 rolled across all teams (68 wins and 13 losses), flew through three playoff series in the same breath, crushing defending champions from Boston along the way, and won the final against San Francisco. Wally Jones was part of this great team.
Walter’s son wasn’t drafted by any NBA team, but Askiya played 11 games with Minnesota, enough to put the Joneses on our list.
Al McGuire and Ellie McGuire
Al McGuire brazenly shouted from the bench, “I can stop Bob Cosey!” The next six times, when the ball and Kuzi met on the court, McGuire grossly violated the rules, but at the same time he smiled from the top of his head – he was trying to keep his promise.
There are no such stories about McGwire’s son, and in the NBA the defender played only two games, playing a total of only five minutes.
George Mikan and Larry Mikan
About the legendary Mikan, who is called only Mr. Basketball, you can write a separate article. About his son Larry – and a line will be enough. One NBA season with the Cavaliers, 53 games, 3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
James Paxon and Jim, John Paxons
Father James, drafted by the Lakers in the 1956 draft, was the founder of the family business. The tradition was continued by eldest son Jim, who played for Portland and the Celtics in the mid-80s. Well, the youngest Paxon is the same guy from Chicago that you immediately thought of.
Butch Van Breda Kolf and Jan Van Breda Kolf
Father joined the Knicks immediately after World War II ended. But this did not stop Butch from continuing to fight right on the site. The rough power forward shot a terrible 30 percent and shot a measly 4.7 points in 175 games with New York, but he was a captain and a very respected man. This subsequently helped him become an excellent coach. Butch’s son, Ian, is better known as the son of his father, but no one will delete eight seasons in the NBA from his life.
Ernie Vanderweihe and Kiki Vanderweihe
This difficult surname began to break the tongue in the middle of the last century and has not finished until now. Ernie played for New York in the early 50s, and his son, after a successful NBA career, worked as a coach, and was most recently seen on the sinking Nets ship, which Mikhail Prokhorov patched up in time.
Kiki’s game is still remembered in the league. For seven seasons, the striker scored at least 20 points per game. The best years of the player were spent in Denver and Portland – Kiki participated in the All-Star Game, came up with simple but effective moves that were later included in textbooks, and led his teams to the playoffs 12 out of 13 times. At the same time, Kiki always said that the most important person for him is his father. It was he who instilled in Kiki a love of basketball.
Milton Wagner and DeJuan Wagner
Wagner Sr. showed the world a unique achievement. Despite only playing 53 games in the NBA (with the Lakers and Miami), Milton is one of the few players to win titles at the high school, collegiate and professional levels. He achieved all these victories hand in hand with his friend Billy Thompson (except for the NBA, where Thompson won the championship one year later than Wagner).
Milton’s son had a better streetball lead, averaged around 40 points in high school, was selected in the 2002 draft with a very high sixth pick but failed to live up to expectations. All those who compared DeJuan Wagner with Allen Iverson hurriedly retreated – the defender scored about 13 points in his first season, but his shot selection suffered seriously (only 36 percent of hits). After 11 games in the 2004/2005 season, the player was hospitalized – peptic ulcers were discovered. After recovering, Wagner signed a contract with the Warriors, but two months later, representatives of the Golden State refused the player. Now the defender is living out his short basketball life as part of the Polish Prokom.
Gerald Henederson, Sr. and Gerald Henederson, Jr.
The son is known for his sharpshooting talents and for beating the infamous owner of the Bobcats in H-O-R-S-E. The defender has recently established himself in the basis of Charlotte (immediately after the exchange of Gerald Wallace) and is now fighting fiercely with the team for the eighth line in the East.
His father had thirteen glorious seasons in the NBA and will go down in history as the guy who intercepted James Worthy’s ball and tied the game in Game 2 of the Final 1984 years, where the Celtics and Lakers traditionally met. Thanks to the feat of Gerald Henderson Sr., Boston moved the meeting to overtime, where KC Jones’ team was a little more successful (124:121). In the end, everything stretched to the seventh game (111:102), and the Celtics won, but the importance of that interception cannot be overestimated.
Terry Davis and Ed Davis
Ed was selected thirteenth overall by Toronto in this year’s draft. The North Carolina forward could have gone into the Top 5 last season, agents said, but Davis broke his wrist against the Dukes and was forced to spend another year in college. As part of the Raptors, he really began to play after Reggie Evans was out of action. The guy in every match aspired to a double-double, and many people wanted to see him at the match of Rookies and Sophomores in Los Angeles.
Ed is an exact copy of his father. The same height (6’10), the same wide arm span. That’s just Terry worked in the NBA exclusively as a laborer. Virginia Union University produces players on a single order – tough uncompromising forwards, gravitating towards the center position. Before Terry was Charles Oakley, after him was Ben Wallace. These guys keep the world going. Davis was an undrafted player, but this did not stop him from spending more than ten years in the NBA and subsequently teaching all the tricks to his son, who has much more talent.
***
For those who want to continue – the latest news. After it became known that David West was out before the end of the season, New Orleans announced the signing of a 10-day agreement with forward Patrick Ewing Jr. Everyone is tired of advertising this guy, and most likely it will end in another disappointment. But how do you want to refute the popular opinion that nature rests on the children of geniuses!
Fathers and children of the NBA. Championship legacy or nature’s recreation?
In the vast world of the NBA, Sportbox.ru found famous players whose fathers became champions of the best basketball league in the world.
Michael Thompson and Clay Thompson
Not only did Michael Thompson go No. 1 in the 1978 draft and win two championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, he was, as they say, second only to God. The main replacement for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a role that in some provincial theaters can be considered the main role.
But Clay, as a competent author of remakes, decided to take all the best from the original and bungled his own production. At the end of the debut season, he, like his father, entered the symbolic team of the best beginners, but then his own improvisation is already going on. Clay shone at the Under-19 World Championship, where he won gold with the national team. If such a plot twist seems banal, then here is a curious detail for you. On the same team was Seth Curry, the brother of Steph Curry, with whom Clay is now the deadliest backline in the league at Golden State. Naturally, Clay, like every accommodating son, names his father as the main role model, and he … he advises him to take an example from Kobe Bryant. Dad will not advise bad, and if Clay listens to the instructions of the elder, then it is likely that he will be able to win more than two championship titles.
Wes Matthews and Wesley Matthews
You can scold the Lakers until you turn purple-yellow, but it turned out that this team brought the most joy to the kids (and their dads). In the same draft as Michael Thompson, there was Private Wes Matthews, who, in general, lacked stars from the sky. During his long career, the two-time champion thoroughly traveled around the NBA clubs, a couple of times he was not easily brought to Europe, and he spent the last year of his career in Brazil.
The creative path of his son Wesley also bears little resemblance to the yellow brick road. The defenseman’s self-esteem, who ranked fairly high at the university level, took a serious blow in the gut when he was not selected in the draft. After such a failure, Matthews spent the entire summer in the Utah and Sacramento labor camps, where he worked on improving equipment and correcting tactical flaws. Then, a stage through Utah, Matthews ended up in Portland, where he almost doubled his performance in a year, and in 2011 went to the All-Star Weekend, where he was awarded the title of rising NBA star. At the moment, Wesley has played four years in the NBA with an average performance of 15 points. His ancestor ran in the best league in the world for 13 years and his average is 8 points. Study, son – you will become a bachelor! Sorry, you’ve got the wrong audience.
Bill Walton and Luke Walton
We continue the concert at the request of Lakers fans, one of the most regrettable cases of basketball succession is next. In the 70s, the majority did not particularly complain about hippies, and Bill Walton, in turn, did not complain about it. A huge two-meter bearded man with a fiery shock of hair, in a flowery T-shirt with divorces and flared jeans, was one of the few professional athletes who openly expressed sympathy for the community of flower children. At the same time, the best white center in the history of the NBA was hiding behind the outrageousness. He almost single-handedly made Portland the champion, and then repeated the achievement by moving to Boston.
His son won his two titles as part of the worst enemy of the “Celts”. Luke’s path was hard and thorny, because it takes great endurance and willpower to endure endless, and most importantly justified, bullying. For 8 years with the Lakers, Walton Jr. has played for two championship titles and for several dozen of the most ridiculous moments in which he appears not as a relative, but as a brother in spirit to the great and terrible Yevgeny Petrosyan.
Gerald Henderson and Gerald Henderson Jr.
The ability to be in the right place at the right time is one of the rarest talents. It was given to Gerald Henderson from childhood, and nature, apparently, rested on his son. Henderson Sr. is ringed with as many as three championship rings, two of which he won with Boston, and one more with Detroit. The highlight of his career was an interception in Game 2 of the Celtics-Lakers Final Series in 1984 that sent the Celtics into overtime and won to tie the series. This interception was one of the 60 greatest episodes in playoff history.
The younger Henderson was a little less fortunate, it’s not that he was in the wrong place, he just got it when Michael Jordan himself looked at the 2009 draft. Since then, he has been the main barge hauler, pulling behind him an irreparable vessel called the Charlotte Bobcats. And yet, the father and son have something in common – both are much more episodic, only unlike dad, while the most memorable moment in the offspring’s career was 35 points scored against … of course, the Celtics.
Dock Rivers and Austin Rivers
This case differs from the others in that the father became a champion at the end of his playing career. Doc Rivers is the main architect of the Celtics’ recent success, and it was under his leadership that Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen first experienced what it was like to become an NBA champion.

Refuse Collection | Charter Township of Commerce, MI
What is a Curb Cart and how is it collected?
A Curb Cart is a specially designed Cart that can be collected using a traditional refuse truck, equipped with a lifting device. This automated arm will lift, empty and return your cart to the same spot. The operator never leaves the truck cab. After collection, we request that you roll your empty Cart back to its storage place. Indoor storage in the garage if possible due to the containers ability to retain odors within the container. This means of collection is a relatively new but thoroughly tested and proven method of residential refuse collection used in the solid waste collection industry. Industry professionals are increasingly using it as a more efficient and cost-effective option to the more traditional manual collection.
General Curb Cart Recommendations
• All household refuse/garbage items may be placed in the cart. It is also recommended that garbage items be bagged and tied, then deposited in your cart. This practice will keep your cart cleaner.
• Please place the cart at least 4 feet from any tree, pole, fire hydrant, etc. and at least 10 feet away from any cars parked in the street so the automated arm can reach your cart.
• Do not over load the container. If the lid is not closed, garbage will be subject to wind and nuisance animals.
• Please do not lean anything against the container.
• Remember to place the arrows on the lid of the container toward the street and the handle toward the house.
• Your container should be placed curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. the day of collection. The emptied container should then be promptly removed from the curbside.
• The emptying of your Curb Cart is guaranteed ONLY if placed curbside on the correct day and time. We can’t be everywhere at 7:00 a.m. but we can be anywhere and that may be in front of your house.
• Yard waste and any household hazardous waste must NOT be placed in the cart. State law requires that we do not mix yard waste, which is compostable, in the cart with garbage.
• Do not put dirt, sod, or rock in the container.
• Do not put flammable material such as oil, gas, paint or “hot ashes” or “coals” in the cart.
• Do not put Muriatic acid and other pool supplies/chemicals in the cart. These can cause chemical reactions in your cart and in our trucks leading to fires and dangerous toxic fumes.
• Do not put concrete, debris from construction, remodeling or demolition in the cart.
What do I do if I have more trash than the new Curb Cart holds?
There may be times when residents have more trash than the Curb Cart will hold. In this case a resident may place this additional waste in trash bags. Please remember to leave some space between the new Curb Cart and your household bags. National surveys do however indicate the 96-gallon cart is adequate for the average home of four (4) people. Each container will hold the equivalent of three (3) normal trash cans. A second cart will have to be purchased if you consistently cannot fit all garbage bags in your one cart. To order an additional cart, please call GFL at (248) 204-4223. Cost per trash cart is $95.00 and recycling cart is $85.00.
How do I dispose of large appliances, chairs, couches or furniture that will not fit into the Curb Cart?
BULKY WASTE–APPLIANCES & FURNITURE – The collection of large bulky waste, such as appliances and furniture, will continue to be part of your solid waste program with GFL-USA. You may set out large bulky items on your regular scheduled service day for collection. Please place large bulky items out separate from other products for collection and have out by 7:00 am. large items may include: washers, dryers, freezers, refrigerators, air conditioners, hot water tanks, stoves, microwaves, couches, chairs, tables, dressers and other large items. FYI: Please remove the doors and racks from refrigerators and freezers prior to setting out for collection. Also, it is GFL’s responsibility to make sure Freon is extracted according to current environmental standards. PLEASE NOTE that some larger bulk items, like freezers and large appliances may be picked up by a separate truck and may take up to 24 hours to remove.
Recycling
Prepare your recycling materials according to the information provided in the informational flyer. Place them in the recycling bin, and place the bin out at the curb on the same day as your refuse and yard waste. Remember the more you properly recycle means the more natural resources you will save in addition to saving room in your Curb Cart.
Yard Waste Collection
Yard Waste begins the first full week of April (on your refuse pick-up day) and is collected separately on the same day as refuse and recycling. Remember it is state law that all compostable material be separated from refuse. Yard waste may be placed in a trashcan clearly marked “yard waste” or placed in kraft paper yard waste bags. Remember that cans or bags may not exceed 32 gallons in size or 50 lbs. in weight. Yard waste collection ends the first full week of December (on your refuse pick-up day).

Features of corporate flights, organization of charter flights from private aviation
Charter flight – an advantage that you should take advantage of when organizing a group flight
Charter flights are an effective subsystem of transport infrastructure in most countries of the world. For corporations and industrial enterprises, charter flights allow you to quickly carry out flights at the individual request of the client.
An aircraft can be ordered when you need to send employees for training, a corporate event, a business meeting, or you need to quickly transfer a film crew to work on the other side of the world. Charters are used for corporate travel, transportation of sports teams, tours of stars, large-scale celebrations (weddings and birthdays), as well as for relocation of office employees and global family relocation.
What we offer
Leading Charter Technologies is a company that has been providing private charter services for any destination in Moscow since 2007. We will help you quickly and comfortably organize both a VIP flight for a business trip and a group charter for a large number of people for any task. Our team will take care of everything from flight planning to boarding and disembarking passengers at the place of arrival. With us, you will not experience the inconvenience associated with organizing a flight, but simply go about your business.
Our employees will prepare conditions in advance in accordance with the requirements of the Client, even if it is necessary to make individual branding of the aircraft cabin. In turn, we guarantee complete confidentiality. On board during the flight, you can negotiate without worrying about information leakage. The flight will be coordinated by a personal manager who will take control of everything: from the preparation of on-board service to the disembarkation of passengers at the place of arrival and further escort for seating in ground transport.
Event Charters
Group air travel is the best solution for quickly and conveniently transporting large numbers of people to a massive event. At the request of the customer, taking into account the requirements, we will prepare the most suitable vessel, meals on board, check-in counters and luxury lounges. If necessary, you can use the corporate identity of the company to design the cabin on board the aircraft.
Charter programs for large groups
Ordering a group charter is especially relevant when you need a flight to where there are no regular flights. In this case, ordering a private flight is much more profitable than taking a long time by land transport or flying with transfers.
Who would benefit from a group charter:
Politicians and civil servants.
Media personalities, musical groups, artists.
Sports teams.
Travel agencies when organizing tours.
Travel managers who need to transport a large number of employees to a corporate event or shift.
Executive assistants when the task is to organize the transportation of guests to the wedding or birthday of the boss.
Event agencies.
For large groups of people, a charter flight is a better solution than buying a large number of tickets for a regular flight. Sometimes tickets are unreasonably expensive, while the service on board leaves much to be desired. And sometimes they can’t be found at all, because all block places have long been bought out. And in general, I want to fly in an airplane only with my own circle of people! In this case, they rent a plane from private aviation.
One of the main advantages of charter demand is the ability to book a flight at a convenient time. So, for example, you can organize a group flight on the weekend without losing working time. On board the aircraft during the flight, you can hold a planning meeting, just have a good sleep with the whole team before an important meeting, or you can clink glasses.
Rotational charters
Rotational transport aircraft are a fast and convenient way to get employees to the job site. For planned rotational flights, it is possible to book flights with a late specification of group lists. For regional shift groups, including those with a non-standard route, transportation from 10 to 600 people can be arranged thanks to the large fleet of Leading Charter Technologies aircraft of various models and equipment.
Large tourism programs
It is easy to organize a group flight to any place in the world, including places that cannot be reached by any other type of land or water transport. And the main thing is that air transportation allows the organizers to save on the transfer of passengers. At the same time, it will be comfortable on board the aircraft.
Evacuation of people from the disaster zone
We will provide urgent assistance to people in distress at any time of the day. Reliable air transportation during evacuation from disaster areas, during the elimination of industrial disasters, during political unrest and natural disasters. Our company has experience in organizing emergency charters with fast response and proven solutions for:
Deliveries to the place of qualified personnel.
Evacuation of people from the danger zone.
Humanitarian aid supplies.
Transportation of rescue teams.
Medical flights with casualties.
Aircraft meet high safety requirements, and the personnel on board are able to work in any emergency situations, making decisions without delay.
Individual tours
More often than not, the organization of tours is a difficult task due to limited flight times, flexible plans and the peculiarities of transporting equipment. In this case, it is necessary to provide accelerated transit through the airport terminal in order to withstand the busy schedule of a media personality or a musical group. Leading Charter Technologies promptly responds to emergency orders: the aircraft will be served without delay, taking into account the requirements of the Client.
Organization of an ideal corporate charter
A charter flight will help you deal with the issue of transporting a certain group of people to anywhere in the world. In addition, meetings, conferences, meetings and much more can be held on board the aircraft, while combining the flight to the destination and urgent matters. The same team building in unusual conditions will help make the event exclusive and memorable.
You don’t have to make any effort to arrange a corporate charter. It is enough to agree on the conditions with our specialists, who will do everything taking into account the requirements and wishes. You will only have to ensure the appearance of people at the airport at the appointed time.
The cost of renting corporate jets
The price of renting a charter depends on several factors. After all, someone prefers an individual all-inclusive program, while someone simply needs ascetic conditions for a flight for a couple of hours to their place of work. Therefore, the rental price for a charter flight is affected by:
The type of aircraft selected.
Number of passengers on board.
Date, time and urgency of the flight.
Popularity and range of the route.
Need to park at the point of arrival or reapply for a return flight.
It is important to understand that a private jet rental service cannot be cheap, as our company takes care of everything: from organizing a flight (sometimes it takes not a couple of hours, but a couple of weeks) to preparing a menu for passengers, obtaining permission from the aviation authorities of all states where takeoff, landing and overflight of an aircraft is carried out. We approach the organization of a private flight or a group flight responsibly and try to make each passenger feel comfortable on board the aircraft.
Benefits of ordering corporate charters with the company
Our aircraft can also operate intercontinental flights on individual routes. When ordering a group charter flight with us, be calm, there will be no surprises. You won’t have to stand in queues when checking in at the airport, because everything will be prepared in advance, and each passenger will be carefully met and seen off by our flight manager.
Benefits of corporate charters from Leading Charter Technologies:
Punctuality – we take into account every detail. We will make a route so that the flight will fit even into a rigid personal schedule.
Comprehensive support – clients are served in ordinary rooms, or rooms of superior comfort. In the case of a VIP service, the client immediately goes on board, without queues, bypassing inspections and registration. It is also possible to book a departure from a separate terminal. In Moscow, this could be the Vnukovo-3 terminal, Sheremetyevo A-group or Domodedovo Business Aviation Center.
Professionals work – pilots, flight attendants, aviation managers and other employees of the company have the highest degree of qualification and at least 5 years of work in the professional field.
On request, we provide VIP aircraft, which are equipped with separate bedrooms, conference rooms and even games rooms. During the flight, there will be cellular communication and the Internet. Passengers will be able to choose food and drinks from their favorite restaurants with early bookings.
Our Aircrafts
Leading Charter Technologies leases only the best and trusted foreign and domestic aircraft manufacturers. Powerful, safe and comfortable aircraft from superjets to cars for 300 people undergo daily technical control and maintenance in accordance with regulatory measures.
When booking a charter, you can be sure that you will get the right aircraft with the highest level of service on board. Comfortable conditions will be organized for your colleagues, taking into account places for leisure and work in flight.
Leucocorina – a flower of universal use
Hit of the Season 02.08.2016

Herbaceous flower – Leucocoryne (Leucocoryne) comes from Chile and is quite rare in our latitudes. And absolutely in vain! This modest, but catchy and attractive flower is a perennial low bush with small flowers of milky, blue or purple tones. Leucocorina blooms for the longest time in the warm season, which provides an additional opportunity to use the plant in bouquet compositions and in interior design, in addition to outdoor cultivation in flower beds. Tiny bulbs of this plant with an olive diameter are wrapped in brownish scales, and narrow shoots of leaves with a pronounced groove in the middle grow no more than 30 cm. ten. The special individuality and beauty of the plant lies in its biological features – several inflorescences develop from one bulb, so the flower grows immediately into a luxurious bouquet. To plant this plant, the place should be sunny , well protected from cold wind and especially drafts. The soil is preferably sandy, loamy and without fail well loosened. In addition, good drainage is a must. Otherwise, if the summer is rainy, the nodules may rot. In the process of planting, the depth directly depends on the diameter of the bulb, but in any case, fluctuations in the range from 2.5 to 4 cm are acceptable. The vegetative period of levcocorina is rather short , so it is very important to give the bulbs a full dormant period as soon as the plant has finished flowering. If you are growing levcocorina as a room culture, you can do this by force. Gradually reduce all watering and fertilization to nothing, or abruptly stop them as soon as the flower stem dries. If leucocorina grows in open ground, stop watering and let the foliage dry, after which the bulb is dug up and stored.
The most popular species of this plant are: Levkokorina Andes This amazing plant captivates with the saturation of lilac-purple flowers with a bright cherry spot at the base of the petals, and a tiny light green eye gives freshness to the composition. Remarkably, the foliage of Andes levcocorina dies off with the flowering of buds. Thin long stems are bare, but this does not reduce the beauty of the flower, but, on the contrary, gives some zest. Despite the apparent fragility of the stems, they are very strong, because they raise the flowers collected in inflorescences to a height of up to 40 cm. Leucocoryne Andes blooms in the first month of summer, filling the garden with colors. Due to the heat-loving nature of the flower, it is most often used as a potted plant, planting 10 bulbs each (the number will depend on the pot) side by side, so that one fine day a flower cap of colorful leucocorins will appear. The plant exudes a fragrant garlic aroma. Levkokorina Andes belongs to heat-loving plants, therefore it is necessary to plant it in sunny, low-wind places. In regions with a harsh climate, container or pot planting is preferred. It is worth noting that Leucocoryne has a high growth rate, the root system grows quickly, so use deep enough pots. For the winter, the plant is dug up and the bulbs are stored like gladioli. Planting is done in spring sometimes in well-drained soil warmed by the sun. The soil is preferably loamy, sandy. Propagated by corms – children when digging.
Blue Ocean Leucocorina The blue-violet flowers of this plant genus play with iridescent hues, the base of the petals is a contrasting white. Inside the flower, a light green little eye shines. Collected in small inflorescences, the buds are placed on elastic and thin stems 40 cm high. This June flower has a specific garlic aroma. You can create beautiful summer bouquets with these colorful plants. They stand in the cut for a long time, and they will look even more beautiful on balconies and loggias in pots. Leucocoryne Blue Ocean is also planted in rocky gardens, and evergreen junipers grow at the foot of long stems. To complete the picture, plant this variety in groups of 15-20 so that in the first year the garden is filled with sea color.
Levkokorina Spotlight An unusual plant with many color facets. Blue-violet flowers with a white wide and burgundy narrow stripe on each petal, at the base of a lime-colored eye. Each Spotlight Leucocorina flower consists of six lightly corrugated petals. They rise on thin stems about 40 cm high. The plant is deceptive, blooming with bright and colorful flowers, exudes a not very pleasant garlic smell. Like all levcocorins, this variety remains without leaves during flowering, so it will look most colorful against the background of a low lawn. Rocky gardens are the best place to plant Leucocoryne Spotlight, which will emphasize some originality and outlandishness of the composition.

Great Victory Day in kindergarten
Updated on 05/05/2023 16:02
Victory Day bright holiday Celebrated by the whole country, Our grandparents They put on orders…
May 9 is a holiday of the Great Victory. Back in 1941, the whole country stood up to defend the Fatherland and was able to defend the right to life under a peaceful sky. On Victory Day, each of us feels especially proud of our history.
A solemn celebration of Victory Day took place in the kindergarten: children recited poems about the war; sang songs about the Victory Day, about veterans and soldiers; sang the national anthem of Russia. In a solemn atmosphere, pupils of senior and preparatory groups were awarded certificates for participation in the city creative competition dedicated to the celebration of the Great Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War “Victory is a bright day!”

All-Russian lesson on “Basics of life safety” in kindergarten
Updated on 04/28/2023 09:23
Work on the safety of children occupies a special place in the educational process of a preschool institution. The teachers held the All-Russian lesson on “Fundamentals of Life Safety”. The events were dedicated to the 374th anniversary of the Russian fire department and the safe recreation of children in the summer. On the eve of Fire Protection Day, our preschoolers met with real firefighters on the territory of the kindergarten. Preschoolers with interest examined the special equipment used to extinguish fires. Firefighters fixed the rules of fire safety in everyday life with the pupils. Rescuers showed how to work with a fire hose, carrying out fire extinguishing. The children were shown items of combat clothing, fire and rescue equipment. Everyone wanted to be a firefighter and put out the fire. Firefighters paid special attention to children’s careful handling of matches. Preschoolers learned a lot of useful information from conversations with employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, those involved in extinguishing fires. The children realized that in many cases life and health depend on their knowledge, skills and abilities. At the end of the meeting, the children were told how to behave in case of a fire and how to prevent it from occurring, and the employees were briefed on fire safety.
April 22 – Earth Day!
Updated on 25.04.2023 15:42
Earth Day is celebrated annually April 22, . In kindergarten, this thematic day is held to expand environmental knowledge in children, to cultivate a respect for nature and a sense of responsibility for all life on our planet. Respect for our planet is the business of all people on Earth. In groups, discussions were held with the pupils about the meaning of the holiday “Earth Day”, about the rules of behavior in the city and in nature. The guys prepared postcards with wishes for the birthday of “Earth”. We must protect every tree, every bush, do not pick flowers, do not break trees, do not destroy nests, do not litter! After all, the future of our planet, the future of our native Earth, the future of our Motherland depends on us!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Northwest Jacksonville school that was described as dilapidated is in the middle of a major renovation.
And it’s not just a face-lift.
Crews completely demolished Rutledge Pearson Elementary and are rebuilding it from the ground up. When it’s done, the district said it will be the most modern school in the county.
Crews on Thursday celebrated that the school in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood has been completely roofed. When it’s all done, it will be unrecognizable from what stood there before.

The $40 million project is quickly moving along and includes things like a new second floor and new play fields.
The school will serve 900 students and combine Henry Kite, Martin Luther King Jr., and Rutledge Pearson elementary schools into one large state-of-the-art campus.
MORE: DCPS moves forward with 4 transformational new school projects funded by half-cent sales tax
“Not just school infrastructure, the walls, the cafeteria area being especially reinforced as a hurricane shelter which is desperately needed for this part of town and the county. It’s also going to have the most modern teaching technology, learning walls, speaker systems, sound systems, interactive systems, high internet capability, wireless capability. It will be, really, a very modern school facility. Probably the most modern we will have in Duval County,” said Paul Soares, DCPS Assistant Superintendent of Operations.
Rutledge Pearson Elementary is one of 28 transformative replacement or new school projects across the city funded by the half-cent sales tax that was approved by Duval County voters in 2020.
The tax money will go toward more than $1.5 billion worth of outstanding maintenance projects, which the district said were put off due to state funding cuts.

Guys, do you like holidays? ( Children’s answers ). We know many wonderful English holidays! But today is a special holiday: a holiday for our most beloved and dear people – our mothers!
Dear mothers and grandmothers! We congratulate you with Mother’s Day and wish you to be happy, healthy, pretty and beautiful!
This party is for you.
Happy Mother’s Day!
We love you. You are the best.
Thanks for everything you do!
Dear mothers and grandmothers, we congratulate you on the holiday – Mother’s Day! We wish you happiness, health, beauty and love! Mother’s Day is one of the favorite holidays in England and America. It is celebrated on the last Sunday of March in England and on the second Sunday of May in America. The Americans and the British have a custom to decorate their houses and clothes with carnations on this day: red and white, thus paying tribute to the memory, love and respect for their mothers.
Our children prepared handmade gifts for their mothers and a festive concert.
1. Montage-verses
I like the way you look,
I like the way you cook
Now I want to say:
“Happy Mother’s Day!”
Mummy, I love you
More than you see.
You have always been there
When I needed you to be.
Each bright flower
Is here to say
My wish to you:
“Happy Mother’s Day!”
My mother is very nice.
She’s got beautiful eyes.
She’s got a smile to charm us.
She’s got a song to calm us.
One, one, one – I love the sun.
Two, two, two – I love my Mummy too!
Three, three, three – My Mummy loves me.
Four, four, four – I love her more and more.
I count from one – I love the sun.
I count to four – I love my Mummy more!
You’re not only my mother,
You’re also my best friend.
No one can ever change that,
It’s not something that could end.
I love my dear Mummy,
I love her very much!
And do you love your Mummy?
– Of course! And very much!”
Who loves Mummy best?
“I,” says Fred,
“I give her flowers – white, yellow and red.”
Who loves Mummy best? “I,” says May,
“With my dear Mummy I always play.”
Who loves Mummy best? “I,” says Joe,
“She asks to help her,
And I always do so.
Make a basket for your mother,

June 22, exactly at four o’clock Kyiv was bombed, they announced to us, That the war had begun.
All the people, young and old, men and women, even children stood up to defend our Motherland from the enemy.
Arise, people, Hearing the cry of the Earth, The soldiers of the Motherland went to the front. Soldiers bravely went into battle For every city and for you and me. They wanted to take revenge as soon as possible For the elderly, for women, for children.

Shells burst with a roar, machine guns fired, tanks went into battle, crushing everything around. The earth was on fire. But during the hours of rest from heavy fighting, the soldiers remembered their relatives and friends, wrote letters to them.
A boy enters the center of the room. In his hands is a letter from the front, folded into a triangle. He unfolds and “reads” the letter:
