Children’s camps for children 6 years old and schoolchildren 7.8 years old

Most camps in the Moscow region are intended for children 6-7 years old and older. At the end of kindergarten and first grade, many children are already ready for independent rest without parents. But is it possible to go to a children’s camp at the age of 5 without parents and how will the child endure separation? What are the alternatives for holidays with preschoolers?

Rest for children aged 5

Five-year-old children, as a rule, attend kindergarten. That is, they have already been trained in basic skills – they know how to dress themselves, wash their hands, go to the toilet. In addition, children understand the principles of interaction with the team. But day care in kindergarten is different from life in a preschool camp.

Differences of the preschool camp:

  • In the 24-hour care facility, the child will have to wash, brush their teeth, change their underwear, and sometimes wash their clothes, for example, if the supply of clean socks is over. It is good if the camp has a laundry and staff who will tell you. But if the teachers are interns, the child will have a harder time.
  • Summer camp for children aged 5 is more like a 24-hour garden. Visits are usually prohibited, otherwise the child will start asking to go home.
  • In children’s camps for children of 5 years old, programs are developed taking into account the characteristics of age: children are less independent, less inclined to observe discipline, more attention and professional training is required from the group leader.

There are very few institutions of this type, most often summer camp programs for preschoolers are designed for family vacations: groups of parents and children are formed who participate in activities together. This option is easier for kids, because one of the relatives is always there, and it is always easier to explore the world around under the protection of a familiar person. For example, the tour operator “Time Beyond” develops exciting family vacation programs that combine team building games, sports events, pool recreation and fun quests that will impress both kids and their parents. Family camps for preschoolers can be excellent preparation so that in a couple of years your child will enthusiastically accept the idea of going to camp without parents.

Camp for 6-year-olds

Six-year-olds are already more independent than five-year-olds. Now many tour operators organize active recreation for preschoolers in ecologically clean areas.

The summer camp for children aged 6 most often goes after kindergarten before entering the 1st grade. Such rest can serve as a transitional stage when the child says goodbye to childhood and becomes a schoolboy. In this case, you need to choose a program taking into account the nature and level of development of the child. In the camp, preschoolers can learn to adapt to a new environment, develop communication skills, and gain experience in forming a new team. Someone is already ready to try their hand at independent rest, someone will not be able to stay without parents even for a few days: quite a lot of camps begin to form children’s groups from the age of 6, but older relatives can still choose a family vacation program with kids. In addition, preparing for school is also stressful for the child, adult support and joint active pastime will help them develop self-confidence.

Children’s camp from the age of 7

Seven-year-old children are already ready for an independent stay in the DOL, although the character of the child must always be taken into account. In the camp, games for children of 7 years old are always selected taking into account physical, emotional and mental development. First-graders are impressionable, they believe in fairy tales, they are mobile, they cannot sit still for a long time. Therefore, many programs are based on well-known and popular books or films, such as “The Land of Oz” and “Journey to Never Land”, which not only captivate with a fairy-tale setting, but also teach useful skills through master classes, quests and role-playing games. But there are also inquisitive children, little “why-whys”, who are more suitable for a training program, for example, the role-playing game “Secret Academy”, during which the kids will immerse themselves in the secret world of spy games, learning cartography, encryption, developing dexterity in sports games, as well as logic, creativity and resourcefulness in master classes.

For the first time, a 7-year-old child can be sent to a camp near Moscow: close to home and on a short shift. Only if the child is comfortable without mom and dad, then you can already send them further from home. Some parents immediately send their 7-year-old children to a camp by the sea, and then do not know how to pick up the child when he begins to actively ask to go home. Choosing our tours, you can be sure: the kids are under the vigilant supervision of adults, on parental days you can safely visit them – our recreation center is located 50 km from the Moscow Ring Road along Novorizhskoye Highway to the north-west of Moscow.

Summer camp for a child of 8 years old

7-8 years old is the optimal age for the first trip to the camp. The school teaches you to be independent, so most elementary school students are mentally prepared for a trip for 1-3 weeks. If in the kindergarten children cry and ask to go home, then at the end of the first grade there are practically no such children left.

Check if a child at the age of 8 is ready for a children’s camp:

  • The child knows how to take care of himself: washes his hair, brushes his teeth without being reminded, can wash small things.
  • Keeps track of his belongings, rarely loses them, knows how to maintain elementary order on his desk and shelves.
  • Understands the rules. There are usually no problems with this, since there are settings in the family, school, section. Only very capricious children are not ready to observe discipline.
  • Does not shy away from the team. Some children can have a great time alone, but if necessary, adapt to a new company. A rare child truly eschews peers. The craving for loneliness appears much later – in adolescence. Even if the child is shy, experienced leaders help to liberate and join the team.

Summer camp for children aged 8 in Moscow usually operates on the basis of a school. This is a daytime establishment. But if you want your child to spend his first summer in the camp more intensely, it makes sense to choose a suitable developmental program in a private camp – today you can find any kind, from sports and language, to teaching and developing creative abilities. Start choosing a camp by determining what your child would love to do during the holidays: learn something new in science, immerse yourself in fantasy worlds during a role-playing game, or immerse yourself in quests and orienteering workshops. Camps near Moscow provide a huge selection of author’s programs – on our website you can not only get acquainted with the plans of events, but also see the reviews of vacationers.

Camp for children 9-10 years old

From the age of 9, you can go to the children’s camp almost without any obstacles. Children are already quite independent and disciplined, they have a strong thirst for adventure and communication.

Although the children are still very active, the school has taught them perseverance. You can devote more time to master classes and quizzes. At the same time, when drawing up programs, methodologists do not forget about the balance between cognitive activities and activities. Not only entertainment programs based on well-known franchises can captivate children (Jedi Order or Hogwarts Express from our catalog are a vivid example), but also educational educational tours full of experiments and discoveries (LaboratoriUM) – from research and mini-conferences to sports and tactical games in the fresh air.

Where to relax for children in the summer

Are you looking for a suitable place for recreation with preschoolers or DOL for children 7-9 years old? The company “Time Beyond” organizes summer camp holidays for children from 7 years old without parents and tours for families with preschoolers. We develop our own unique programs not only taking into account the actual interests of children, but also focusing on the achievements of modern pedagogy: children spend 2-3 days or 2-3 weeks in the camp, this time should not pass uselessly. That is our philosophy. Summer camp for a child at 7-9years is a time of rest from school, an opportunity to explore the world actively, so it is important to fill free time with fun, vivid memories, but also to develop in different directions with the help of quests, personal experience, unusual situations. We even design programs for family vacations so that, with the help of parents, the child learns useful skills through collective games. But we do not forget about the much-needed rest for children. The recreation center where we implement our programs is located in a picturesque forest area, on the territory there is a swimming pool, sports equipment and playgrounds, a cinema, cozy gazebos and other fun opportunities, including laser tag and a stable where you can communicate with animals or take a riding lesson.

A camp in the Moscow region is an excellent occasion to spend time cheerfully and with benefit for children both at 5 and at 8 years old. Call us to find out more!

Fourth day (June 6)

In the children’s summer camp “Zvezdochka” a number of events were held aimed at preventing the safety of the younger generation during the summer holidays “My safe holidays”.
The purpose of the event was to popularize the culture of safe behavior in the summer among the younger generation and draw public attention to the problems of children’s safety.

Day five (June 7)

How Pushkin changed the Russian language.
Yesterday, the students of MBU “School No. 23” found out how Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin “reinvented” our native language.
The guys learned what our language was before A.S. Pushkin, composed a message from the past, unraveled the names of body parts in Old Russian and decomposed the hidden words according to the system of “three calms” by M. V. Lomonosov.
And then the children saw how Pushkin “mixed” all the styles and determined which words in the poem “Lukomorye” belong to the high and which words to the low styles.

Sixth day (June 8)

And summer continues! Our camp is growing fast! Today, our junior teams attended an open music lesson at the Children’s Art School. It was very interesting, everyone was delighted with real musical instruments! The senior detachments went to the play “The Frog Princess”, to the drama theater named after G.B. Drozdov “The Wheel”. Other detachments visited the children’s library named after G.Kh. For lunch, our canteen prepared delicious borscht and ice cream for dessert! So, ahead is only more interesting and more interesting!

Seventh day (June 9)

Today the Zvezdochka camp was filled with bright colors and emotions, because today is International Friends Day! The morning began with a ruler and musical exercises. Then the guys went to the “Children’s School of Arts”, where they took part in the “Tales with a Guitar” program. Upon returning to the camp, they were swirled with creative things: the children carved, drew, fantasized, remembered songs about friendship. Photos will help you to recharge a little with our rainbow emotions.

Eighth day (June 13)

Fascinating quest-game “Magic Wind Rose”.
Today, students of all units were completing assignments at stations with tourist and local history content on the school grounds.
The children learned various types of fires, helicopter signs.
Some students set up a tent for the first time and tested it by climbing inside with the whole team.
Everyone received an unlimited number of emotions, a boost of energy and knowledge on tourism.

Day nine (June 14)

We swim in the pool –
Real fun.
Splashes fly to the sides,
The guys are very happy.
Today was day 9 and it was hot despite the cloudy sky! And then only more laughter, smiles and good mood!

Day Ten (June 15)

Another day has passed, but left its mark.
Today the guys were looking for answers to the questions: What does an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations do?
They tried on a rescuer’s suit, took the victim out of the (imaginary) smoke zone, gave him first aid and, of course, put out the fire!
Young rescuers managed to examine and touch everything carefully during their visit to the fire and rescue station 86!
After eating lunch, enjoying buns and ice cream, the guys went on a fun quest together with MBOU DO “Dialogue”

Eleventh day (June 16)

the most difficult obstacles and got a lot of positive emotions! There was another tour of the library for the children.
The children visited the reading room, the lending room and the non-fiction room, looked at entertainment magazines, graphic novels, fiction books, and also saw the largest and smallest books in our library.
It was very bright and incendiary. On such a cheerful note, we are going to rest until Monday. Great weekend to everyone!

Twelfth day (June 19)

Streets of memory.
Today the students of the detachments remembered the names of the heroes after whom the streets of Tolyatti are named.
The children learned what feats Vasily Zhilin accomplished in the battles during the crossing of the Western Dvina, how Claudia Vavilova became a military paramedic, what tasks Valentina Stupina performed in the aviation battalion, and how pilot Viktor Nosov and sailor Evgeny Nikonov died.
Watched a video film included in the International Film Festival “Cinema for Children”.
With the help of virtual maps, the children examined the streets named after the heroes, saw memorable memorials in their honor, and also tested their knowledge and successfully completed the quiz task.

Thirteenth day (June 20)

To avoid accidents.
Must be strictly observed
Rules of the road
And the code of conduct.
You will remember, friends.
We are not allowed on the road
Run, jump and gallop
And play football with the ball.
And do not think in vain.
Which is not at all dangerous here.
Learn little by little how to cross the
road.
In the school camp “Zvyozdochka” events were held on the rules of the road.

Day fourteen (June 21)

Another day has passed. And although the clouds and rain tried to make their own adjustments, we had a great day! Traditionally, the morning began with exercises and raising the flag!
Junior detachments held a drawing competition “Fire Safety”. The older children were introduced to the history of the fire service in the country. They consolidated the knowledge of children about the positive and negative role of fire in human life. After lunch, we took part in a sports battle on skipping ropes). There is definitely no time to be bored and look at the gloomy sky!

Day fifteen (June 22)

June 22 is a mournful date in our country. This day reminds us of all those who died in battle, were tortured in fascist captivity, died in the rear from hunger and deprivation. We mourn for all those who, at the cost of their lives, fulfilled their holy duty, defending our Fatherland in those harsh years.
Events dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Second World War were held at the Zvyozdochka school summer camp.
This day began with a visit to the Togliatti Museum of Local Lore. The students learned about courage in the partisan detachments at the front. They watched video clips. The younger detachments visited the school museum, where they talked about the hard working days of teenagers in the rear.
In the format of the game “Scouts” felt all the hardships of wartime.
And at the end of the day in our art studio “Pencil” drew drawings on a military theme. After all, we must not forget how much grief the war brought to our people.

Day Sixteen (June 23)

Today was a truly “Olympic Day”, timed to coincide with the celebration of Olympic Day, which is celebrated around the world on June 23.
Raising the flag, exercising in the fresh air!0167 All teams of the summer camp competed in classic exercises: push-ups, pull-ups, shuttle runs, somersaults, long jumps and rope jumps.
Today everyone saw the high level of sports of our guys!
A ended the day with a game dance program “Fun of Summer”

Day Seventeen (June 26)

In our camp “Star” we do not forget to talk about safety rules. Employees of the Togliatti Linear Police Department help us with this. Inspector of the PDN Popova Diana Vadimovna held a professional conversation on the topic of preserving the life and health of children when they are near the railway.

The children learned how and where to cross the railway tracks correctly, as well as how important it is to take your time and let the train pass.
