Stepping Stones Academy – Rosenberg TX Licensed Center – Child Care Program

Description: We at Bright Beginnings Child Development Center believe that every child has the capacity to learn and only with the assistance of a good foundation, can every child truly reach their potential. Here at Bright Beginnings we provide a foundation geared around the idea that children need a safe, nurturing, healthy environment that will stimulate and encourage positive growth and development. To fully succeed in aiding in a child’s successful development, both the school and home must work together to build a strong and healthy relationship to agree on what is best for the child.

We envision children learning the fundamentals of life that will help shape who they will become. Staff and teachers not only teach, but model as well, positive character traits such as caring, confidence, cooperation, kindness, honest , respect, responsibility, and fairness, just to name a few. Children will learn how to build good character traits, as well as learn important early developmental and academic skills that will prepare them for the school years ahead. Teachers will strive to provide a structured daily routine filled with a combination of learning activities including whole group and small group activities geared towards achieving proper academic growth and stimulation in each child. Learning environments will be structured around the concepts of promoting social, cognitive, language, and physical skills and development. A multitude of strategies including hands-on activities, read-alouds, dance, music and movement will be applied to stimulate learning in each age group.

I liked the tour very much. The history of Las Vegas was told in a very interesting, accessible and informative way. Time flew by unnoticed, although the duration was about 4 hours. All our wishes during the tour were carried out by the guide instantly. We learned a lot of new things, saw a lot of interesting things. We thank everyone who was able to organize an introductory tour of such an unusual city. We definitely recommend that all tourists coming to Las Vegas get to know the city with a guide.

Of course there was an Indian reservation, but still it is necessary to mention and talk about it from the very beginning, that it’s just a canyon on the land of the Indians and big words about the reservation – just marketing and nothing more!

At eight o’clock in the morning we left the hotel and immediately a car drove up to us, driven by our guide Ivan. It remains a mystery how he calculated us?
We found ourselves in the atmosphere of a friend whom we had probably known for a thousand years.
In a pleasant atmosphere of mutual understanding, we had a wonderful time and eight hours of the tour flew by unnoticed.
Ivan gave us a lot of information about almost every section of our road.
He is an excellent storyteller, his speech is beautifully delivered, he knows a lot about the area where he lives. He presented us well with historical facts and modernity.
He was always on the lookout for our wishes, showing where to take a beautiful photo as a keepsake, where to eat, what menu.
We were very pleased and would like to thank Ivan once again for a wonderful tour of the Canyon, the Hoover Dam and the Indian Reservation.
We sincerely recommend Ivan as a guide.

Guide in the USA – everything you need for recreation and travel!

The city of Las Vegas is the epitome of vanity and American megalomania in its purest form. Everything is “the best” here: the largest, most expensive, highest, deepest .. The largest bottle of Coca-Cola, the largest gold bar, the largest singing fountains. This is a city that dazzles with gold dust and flaunts it. Everything here is aimed at setting you on the “right wave” as quickly and efficiently as possible: so that you start and do not stop spending your hard-earned money in numerous casinos for as long as possible and at the same time not be distracted by trifles – so that hunger does not interfere with you, the waitresses will carefully bring food and drinks, the croupiers will rejoice like family for every dollar you win …

Las Vegas casinos have no windows or clocks so that, God forbid, you don’t remember how many hours/days/weeks you’ve been trying to catch your luck by the tail. Some people really succeed, but for the majority, the memory of the “fun” city of Las Vegas is left with devastated bank accounts and vague memories.

But all this applies to the players – and besides them, there are ordinary travelers in Vegas. These are those who do not play or play “for show” and for whom Las Vegas is not the center of the universe, but just a bright spot on the map of Nevada. It is travelers who are interested in “what to see in Las Vegas”, and not “where to play in the smoke” and this short story about the city of Las Vegas and its attractions is addressed. So..

Once an oasis in the Nevada desert (the very name of the city of Las Vegas means “floodplain meadows”), the first birth of the future gambling capital of the United States took place in 1829, when a lost caravan stopped at this place. The second birth – when the tiny town was made a refueling point for steam locomotives en route from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles . But for some reason, the official date of birth of the city of Las Vegas is May 15, 1905, although by this time it was already full of gambling halls and saloons. Historians insist on 1864 as the date of the emergence of Las Vegas – it was then that the question arose of legalizing gambling in the state of Nevada. Mormon influence was quite strong in the then USA – and in neighboring Utah, the “stronghold” of the Mormons, gambling was prohibited, and remains illegal to this day. But there were not so many moralists in Nevada, and already in 1869Gambling was legalized in 1999 – which predetermined the direction of development of the city of Las Vegas, and not only it. As usual, the authorities have repeatedly changed their position in relation to gambling – for example, in 1909 the cup of patience ran out and the government launched a powerful attack on the “dens”, where gambling was often accompanied by criminal showdowns. However, already in 1911, the pendulum swung back and serious indulgences were introduced – for example, games were again allowed without “entry fees” and whose participants, according to the rules, had to mix the deck. From that moment on, Las Vegas became the center of attraction for professional gamblers – there was not a single saloon in the city where they would not play poker.

In 1915, poker was supplemented by several more legalized games, and the first slot machines appeared in some advanced establishments. However, until the middle of the 20th century, Las Vegas did not stand out among others like it, until one day a wheel burst at a certain Thomas Hull on the outskirts of the city. While the damage was being repaired, Hull toiled with idleness – and the idea came to him that a hotel located right on the road would not hurt to have its own casino – and then many sufferers would not have to drag themselves to downtown Las Vegas, where until that moment everyone was crowded entertainment establishments. According to legend, from this moment begins the history of the main attraction of Las Vegas (consisting of a mass of smaller sights) – the world famous “Las Vegas Boulevard” or, in short, the Strip. At 1941 Hull opens the first hotel-casino El Rancho. Then Benjamin Siegel (aka “Handsome Bugsy”, whose story is told in the movie “Casino” with De Niro and Sharon Stone) purchased El Cortez, and in 1946 built the chic Flamingo Hotel-Casino.

Las Vegas landmarks: Flamingo Hotel

Now, against the backdrop of the brightest Venetian or Mandalay Bay , hotel Flamingo (Las Vegas Blvd Strip 3555) is not particularly impressive, but, in fact, it was with him that the current city of Las Vegas began. Flamingo was the dream of his creator’s life – Siegel himself developed scenarios for luxurious shows designed to make a stunning impression on the audience, he himself designed the appearance of the future hotel, insisted on creating a grove in front of the hotel, for which the necessary amount of fertile soil was brought to Las Vegas; in addition, ponds have been dug in front of the hotel for graceful flamingos. In the end, the passion for the hotel quarreled its creator with mafia companions, which, however, did not prevent the Flamingo from opening on Christmas 1946 years old.

Hollywood stars were invited to the opening of the hotel – they were recruited on a couple of planes, but even such advertising did not provide the hotel with instant success – for post-war America, the institution was too chic and those who could afford to play in such places preferred to do it in Monaco and Monte Carlo. It should also be borne in mind that Las Vegas itself was at that time nothing more than a dusty hole somewhere in the Far West – and only the imagination and perseverance of people like Siegel made possible the appearance in this place of modern Las Vegas, one of the most striking sights of the United States. and the whole world.

However, Siegel’s services to the city of Las Vegas did not save him from the long arms of Lucky Luciano, along with Al Capone, one of the most famous mafiosi in the United States. According to Luciano’s biography, he became interested in the outflow of funds from Flamingo and in December 1946, Siegel’s fate was sealed: he was shot through the window of his house in Los Angeles. None of the Hollywood stars honored Benjamin’s funeral with their presence – this could spoil the reputation, but Siegel’s death had a beneficial effect on the fate of the hotel: Flamingo became known throughout the country and many wanted to visit the Las Vegas landmark that cost its creator his life.

Not far from Flamingo is the famous Sahara Hotel & Casino , once the tallest on the Strip and initiating the fashion for African interiors. In addition to them, “Sahara” is known for the fact that the highlight of its entertainment program in 1964 was the “Beatles” twice. Of no small importance in turning the Sahara into one of the most popular casinos in Las Vegas was the lifting of the ban on visiting it by blacks – he was the first to open its doors to “colored” players.

The Strip is home to 17 of the 20 largest hotels in the world; on my first visit to Las Vegas, I stayed in one of these, Luxor Casino Hotel (Luxor, Las Vegas Blvd Strip 3900, www.luxor.com) – the dimensions are really amazing.

The Las Vegas Luxor is a life-size replica of an ancient Egyptian pyramid, with a replica of Tutankhamun’s tomb inside.

The only difference is that the Egyptians used the pyramid to bury the dead, while the practical Americans used it to entertain the living. And besides, from the top of the pyramid, a most powerful ray of light goes vertically upwards; it can be seen even from space, according to the booklet at the hotel reception.

In addition to the above-mentioned goodies, the Luxor Hotel is known for its IMAX cinema.

Las Vegas attractions: Stratosphere Hotel & Casino

In addition to it, at the top of the tower there is a revolving restaurant and attractions for the most desperate thrill-seekers:

Insanity the Ride is set at a height of 274 meters and is a carousel in the form of star-shaped claws with chairs under them. After landing and fixing the tourists in the chairs, the mechanism takes the carousel out of the tower, where it begins to rotate in a circle at a speed of about 65 km / h – those who dare to ride this attraction can observe the city of Las Vegas from a height of about 300 meters (if they don’t screw up).

Attraction X-Scream is located at an altitude of 264 m. It is an open trailer that drives away from the tower, swinging and braking sharply – which, presumably, greatly entertains the thrill hunters sitting in it.

Big Shot – entertainment at a height of 329 meters, is considered the highest attraction in the world.

SkyJump – jump from a height of 261 meters, those who want to experience it in flight overcome 108 floors of the Stratosphere Tower.

Las Vegas Attractions: Rollercoaster

Between copies of the famous New York skyscrapers , standing close to each other and forming “New York Island”, the furious “roller coaster” winds (in America they are called “Russian”) – Another brightest attraction of the city of Las Vegas.

See also:
Sights of
New York

An interesting effect: if you happen to be in this mini-New York at night, you may not immediately notice the slides themselves – they are laid at a height of several floors. But sooner or later you will definitely hear them: first, heart-rending screams and squeals will be heard from the darkness, and then, raising your head, you will be able to distinguish wagons with desperate passengers flying at breakneck speed. After watching them (cars make dead loops, rotate around their axis, and all this is at the height of an average skyscraper), I personally did not dare to ride – it was too extreme for me.

Having weighed all the pros and cons, instead of such a flight, I went to have a drink at the nearby Coyote Ugly bar , a cult and iconic place – you can learn from the film of the same name where the cult came from.

Las Vegas attractions: hotels-casinos “Paris” and “Bellagio”

Vegas Blvd Strip 3655) – at least the main symbols of the European “city of light” in the face of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe are present there – and even look very good upon closer inspection.

The entrance to the copy of the Eiffel Tower is located inside the hotel – climbing up, you can admire the views of the city of Las Vegas from a height of 140 meters (tickets are sold inside the hotel in the Eiffel store). From this observation deck it is also very convenient to watch the show of dancing fountains near the Bellagio Hotel, located next door.

Bellagio Hotel & Casino (Bellagio) – In addition to one of the best dancing fountain shows in the world, it houses two of the top three restaurants in Las Vegas: Le Cirque and Picasso (both awarded the prestigious US AAA Five Diamond Award). Returning to the dancing fountains: water extravaganzas from more than a thousand fountains, accompanied by classical and modern compositions, take place every fifteen minutes – I recommend watching them from two different angles: from the side of the pool with fountains and from the height of the observation deck of “Paris” – both times will be the most different and eminently worthy impressions.

In addition to the fountain show and the best restaurants, Bellagio is famous for its art museum (by the way, this is one of the few places in Las Vegas where they charge $ 12 for admission), there are masterpieces of such masters as Goya, Picasso, Degas and others. According to information from the electronic guide to the museum, the exposition costs about the same as the hotel itself – $ 1. 7 billion.

Not far from “Paris” and “Bellagio” is another attraction of Las Vegas, which is a must-see – Caesar’s Palace Hotel-Casino (Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, Strip, 3570). The first floor and the park in front of the hotel are so skillfully lined with copies of ancient Roman sculptures that it is quite possible to mix up the eras for a while. On top of that, Caesar’s Palace hosts a massive (you can apply the word to pretty much everything in Las Vegas) Creation of Earth show, complete with flames, roar and laser special effects.

Another Las Vegas attraction is the out-of-stellar Mirage Hotel :

Inside Mirage (Mirage, Las Vegas Blvd Strip, www.mirage.com) white tigers roam and rainforest can also be found , a lagoon, waterfalls, a pool with dolphins and an artificial volcano that erupts every half an hour (from 19:00 to midnight).

Las Vegas Attractions: The Venetian Hotel

Venetian (www. venetian.com) – here real gondolas float along artificial channels; in them – almost real gondoliers sing very similar to real Venetian barcarolles; tourists, usually Asians, are delighted.

18) I went to Treasure Island , the road to which from there is only a couple of minutes. In general, the city of Las Vegas is very reminiscent of a giant theme amusement park, where from “New York” you get to “Venice”, then to “Paris” – and so on.

Treasure Island Entertainment Complex (Treasure Island, Las Vegas Blvd Strip 3300, www.treasureisland.com) is famous for its Sirens’ of Treasure Island evening show, which takes place in a specially built “seaside village” with a canal dug around it. The performance is full of pirate romance, dancing beauties and fights on the masts – at the end of it, an entire English frigate goes under water.

South of the Venetian is the Imperial Palace hotel, notable for its huge concert hall, where Elvis Presley once performed, and a museum of retro cars, among the exhibits of which you can find the Rolls-Roys of Russian Tsar Nicholas II, Hitler’s Mercedes and Packard of Japanese Emperor Hirohito . The museum is located on the fifth floor of the Imperial Palace Hotel, (Las Vegas Blvd Strip 3535, www.autocollections.com).

Excalibur Casino Hotel , built like a fairy tale castle – inside this impression is greatly enhanced:

Casino Mandalay Bay” (Mandalay Bay, www.mandalaybay.com) – the “pearl” of my personal list of “what to see in Las Vegas” – at least from those hotels-casinos in the city of Las Vegas that were accessible to “people from the street ”, he seemed to me the most interesting and stylish.

This hotel is famous for its topless pool (admission fee for men) and a glass underwater tunnel where you can admire sharks, “golden” crocodiles, stonefish – one of the most poisonous fish on Earth, and other aquatic fauna.

Where to stay in Las Vegas

In terms of housing, Las Vegas is completely different from other major American cities: there are almost always a huge number of excellent options at Booking at very attractive prices. For example, a room at the world famous Luxor Hotel cost me about $35. Fantastic? Yes, but very easily explained. The fact is that there are quite a few ordinary tourists in Las Vegas – they are mostly players, and the lion’s share of the Las Vegas hotel stock is made up of casino hotels, for which the actual renting of rooms is not the main business. Moreover, they tend to dump in order to attract more players to themselves, who will later spend hundreds and thousands of dollars with them all night long.

But I, for one, am not a gambler at all, and I benefited with might and main from the pricing policy of Las Vegas hotels. Where else in America can you get a room in a luxury hotel with a private marble bathroom for $35?! Yes, nowhere, usually this is the price of a bed in a hostel. To book a room in the legendary Mandalay Bay or Luxor, please follow the link below:

Another important point: Las Vegas can be a very convenient base for trips to national parks in the so-called “Indian Lands”. Many people rent a car in Vegas and then drive around the insanely interesting neighborhoods of the city – so Las Vegas is the best place to explore the Grand Canyon with Monument Valley.

All hotels in the Strip!

Transport in Las Vegas

There are two types of buses: SDX express and DEUCE regular buses, bus tickets are valid for both SDX and DEUCE express – DEUCE buses have more stops and they travel noticeably slower than SDX, since they are almost crowds of tourists enter and exit at every stop in the central part of the Strip. A ticket for an unlimited number of trips for 2 hours costs $ 6, they are sold only in vending machines, the vending machine does not give change. Large bills can be exchanged in special change machines in any of the surrounding casinos, of which there are many. The city also has a 6 km monorail along the Strip. Trains run at a height of about eight meters, so that, in addition to a purely transport function, the monorail can also successfully perform a sightseeing function.

Stops are located near the main large casino hotels of the Strip, such as Flamingo-Caesars, Bally’s-Paris, MGM Grand, Luxor and the like. Opening hours – from 8:00 to 24:00.

How to get to the complex where all Las Vegas airport rental cars are located

First, take the DEUCE bus to the southern bus station, then take bus 117 from there for two stops, the address of the complex is: 7135 Gilespie street.

How not to drive
to Monument Valley!

Returning a rental car from rental cars located at the Las Vegas airport is very simple: you drive into the parking lot and then follow the signs with the name of your rental company (all rental cars operating at Las Vegas McCarran Airport are located in this complex). Having driven by the signs to the Hertz parking lot, I waited for an employee who marked the fuel level in the tank and something else in the documents. After that, leaving the keys in the car, I went to the office for an invoice, which indicated the final cost of renting a car. I was once again told that I did not have to pay anything for my adventure with an engine crankcase pierced in Monument Valley and insurance covered it.

Rent-a-car is not located at the airport itself, but not far from it and between it and the Las Vegas airport terminals, a free bus runs, travel time is about 5 minutes.

How to get to Las Vegas from Moscow

There are currently no direct flights between Russian cities and Las Vegas, so you will have to fly with at least one transfer – in New York or in one of the European hubs; the minimum price for round-trip tickets is $600

To search for flights to Las Vegas, you can use this search form:

I recommend reading how to buy cheap air tickets to the USA, how to travel within the country, where and when it is better to go .

How to get from Los Angeles to Las Vegas

You can come to the fun city of Las Vegas in many ways – by planes, buses, rented or private cars. Personally, I remember most of all my second visit there: when in half a day I drove a car for almost 500 miles across the territory of the three states and in the dead of night bright lights appeared on the horizon in a lowland in the middle of the desert – for me at that moment Las Vegas was the same a welcome oasis, as it was for those first pilgrims from the lost caravan. For auto travelers, the city of Las Vegas is very convenient and comfortable: no problems with parking near casino hotels or other attractions, plus the opportunity to visit amazingly interesting national parks located within reach: Grand Canyon , Death Valley , Monument Valley and others.

Las Vegas from American West Coast cities such as San Francisco and Los Angeles, the most convenient way is by bus. First you need to get to the local terminal of the Greyhound bus carrier and take their express bus to Las Vegas (for example, from Los Angeles to Las Vegas can be reached in four hours) – that’s exactly what I drove. In order not to step over the homeless citizens of a great country and Mexican illegal immigrants sleeping on the sidewalks, I decided not to walk to the aforementioned Los Angeles bus terminal (although it was quite possible, the weather was good, the walk would be about an hour), I got there by bus. From downtown Los Angeles, the bus terminal can be reached by bus routes 60 (longer) and 760 (faster). On the bus on the way to Las Vegas, I met an Armenian who has been living in the US for 25 years, works as a glassblower and, due to the lack of work in his specialty in Los Angeles, goes to Las Vegas to earn money. He, in the joy of meeting with a former compatriot, gave me homemade pies with cabbage, cheese and potatoes – objections and refusals were not accepted.

Lifehack: how I save money on hotels and insurance

In addition to traditional and well-known tools such as Booking or Hotellook, new online services have recently appeared that make life much easier for the traveler and pleasantly protect the thickness of his wallet. One of them – Roomguru – I constantly use myself and recommend to all friends and acquaintances. This service compares prices for an object in 30 booking systems at once, and offers you the most interesting options. In addition, it tracks discounts and special offers.

Hotels in Las Vegas with discounts from Roomguru

As for a good working travel insurance, it was not easy to find before, but now it has become even more difficult due to the constant fluctuations of the ruble against world currencies. For the past few years, I have been taking out insurance for my travels through the online service Cherehapa – here you can compare products of different insurers and choose what is best for you:

Calling All 4-Year-Olds: LAUSD’s Pre-K Classes Are Ready

Hi, I’m Aaricka!

If you’re enjoying this article, you’ll love my daily morning newsletter, How To LA. Every weekday, you’ll get fresh, community-driven stories that catch you up with our independent local news.

The Los Angeles Unified School District is growing its free pre-K program.

Calling All 4-Year-Olds: LAUSD’s Pre-K Classes Are Ready

Every child who turns 4 on or after September 1 can enroll in transitional kindergarten at the district’s elementary schools next school year.

LAUSD is expanding its program well ahead of a state mandate to open public school preschool to every 4-year-old by the 2025-26 school year.

“Why wait two years to empower students with early literacy, early numeracy [and] earlier socialization?“ said Superintendent Alberto Carvalho at a press conference Friday. “Why wait two years when we can do it now?”

The district aims to enroll 25,000 students in transitional kindergarten next school year. Right now there are about 14,000 students in the program across 317 school campuses.

LAUSD’s preschool expansion is years in the making. The school board voted in 2021 to create a plan for universal preschool by the time school started in 2024.

The district used state and one-time pandemic relief funding to equip new transitional kindergarten classrooms with 4-year-old-sized furniture, books, and other learning materials. Each classroom is staffed by a certified teacher and at least one other educator.

Carvalho said the district had the capacity to add thousands of more students this year, but that pandemic-related fear and a lack of information contributed to families’ reluctance to enroll. Districts also face competition from private providers, who may offer programs that put more emphasis on play, or that offer smaller classes and extended hours of care.

Statewide enrollment has also lagged. This school year just over half of eligible families signed up for TK, according to the Legislative Analyst’s Office.

“We just have to find a way to get the word out to communities that this is a safe and trusted opportunity for our families,” said California State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, who also attended Friday’s press conference.

The youngest of Anderne Kinney’s three children started at Van Deene Avenue Elementary’s transitional kindergarten program last year.

“I wanted her to be somewhere where she felt like her sisters were there to keep her safe,” Kinney said.

Her daughter Lydia’s first educational experience was through Zoom, and later in-person preschool was inconsistent because of COVID-related shutdowns.

“When she got here, she was very closed, she did not necessarily believe that she could trust everybody,” Kinney said. Now Lydia has a best friend.

Kinney noticed her daughter’s academic skills are growing too. Lydia has started to identify letters and a few words, including her sisters’ names, and “doughnut.”

“This is the stepping stone,” Kinney said, “to understanding the concepts of reading, writing, and arithmetic.”

    Parents as Teachers

An important part of the Ferguson-Florissant preschool and pre-kindergarten program is the regular personal visit with the teacher or Parent Educator, parent, and child.  Parents often tell us that the personal visits are their favorite part of the program.  These one-hour visits occur approximately every five weeks, and can be scheduled during the day or, if needed, early evening.  Parent Educators talk with parents about their child’s development and parenting issues.  Everyone does an activity together, learning about how children work in school.  In very special situations, these personal visits can occur in the school if no possible home arrangement can be made.

To learn more about the Parents as Teachers program, contact our Parents as Teachers office at 314-824-2077.

It is very important that all appointments for personal visits be honored.  This is one of the things that makes this program so successful in helping children be ready for kindergarten.  Teachers and parent educators have very busy schedules and appreciate being called if someone is sick and a personal visit must be missed.  Parents’ ongoing commitment to the full program is very important for children’s success.

    Screening Process

Your child will receive a developmental screening as a part of the enrollment process for preschool.  All students must have a completed screening prior to enrolling in one of our Early Childhood preschool programs.

    Class Placement

Students are placed in a class location based on their home address.  All students are placed on a waitlist after receiving a free developmental screening.  Students are assigned to classrooms as space becomes available.   For more information, you may contact our office at 314-824-2074, or send an email to [email protected].

Activities for children 4 years old: what will be useful

08/08/2017

Three years before school, the child can already actively learn and begin to prepare for admission to the first grade. And at this age, it is important to pay great attention to the development of his oral speech and acquaintance with writing.

The development center “Pallada” has several programs and types of developmental activities for children 4-5 years old.

Get to Know is the Pallada Center’s developmental program for children aged 4-5 and is aimed at getting them ready for school. On the program, children develop competent and beautiful speech, work with a speech therapist to correct sound pronunciation and diction, get acquainted with mathematics and the world around them, express themselves in creativity and learn to communicate with each other.

In the “Know-ki” classes, children develop thinking and memory, intelligence and imagination. They learn to read, write and count, develop logical and spatial thinking, reveal their abilities and talents, learn to apply them.

“Know-ka” is a complex version of developmental activities for a child of 4 years old. This is an evening program, so it can be combined with a visit to a kindergarten for additional development.

Speech therapy classes for children 4 years old

Speech therapist of our center works with children 4-5 years old both individually and in groups, as well as within the school development program. In addition, we conduct interesting speech therapy classes for children 4-5 years old on the program “Beautiful speech” . In the process of learning from a speech therapist, the child develops not only the speech apparatus, but also imagination, fine motor skills, learns to communicate with other children, speak to the audience and answer questions. We conduct classes in a playful way so that the child does not lose attention and interest in the process. So he progresses even faster.

Classes for children 4-5 years old as part of a kindergarten visit

We use all training programs and methods of developing classes in the same volume in Kindergarten “Palladinki” . For children of 4 years old in our kindergarten, the program is aimed at preparing for school, and at staging speech, and at general development. In addition, the kindergarten is a place where children make friends with each other and join society. Therefore, by the time they enter the 1st grade, their fear of a new team and separation from their parents for the duration of classes decreases or completely disappears. Kindergarten teaches the child independence under the strict supervision of adults.

Child development at 4 years old: creative activities

The creative development of the child and the disclosure of his talents is another area that should be given great attention at an early age. In Pallada, we work with children in creative studios: they draw, sculpt and make applications, dance, engage in Lego construction, learn to play chess and all kinds of educational games.

Classes with a child at 4 years old at home

Home educational games and activities with a child of 4-5 years old are also an important part of his general preparation. We have collected some of the most interesting and productive exercises for homework with a child.

– You can use materials that are freely available on the Internet. For example, for the development of speech, you can invite the child to compose a story based on images.

First, think over the plot on your own, and then guide the child at the moment of his narration, pronounce new words.

– Mathematical thinking and logic are well developed by activities of this type:

Circle the image by numbers, find in paired pictures or match the number with the number of objects depicted, etc. :

In addition, it is recommended to actively develop fine motor skills in the child. For example, ask to sort and sort grains of different types.

Come to our program “Get to Know” and “Beautiful Speech” and develop with us.

  1. What is my child expected to learn this year?
  2. How will this be evaluated?
  3. What are my child’s strongest and weakest subjects?
  4. What are some examples of these strengths and weaknesses?
  5. Does my child hand homework in on time?
  6. What types of tests and evaluations will my child have to take this year?
  7. How are my child’s test-taking skills?
  8. Is my child participating in class discussions and activities?
  9. How are my child’s social skills?
  10. Does my child seem happy at school?
  11. Have you noticed any unusual behaviors?
  12. Has my child missed any classes other than excused absences?
  13. Do you think my child is reaching his or her potential?
  14. What can I do at home to help support my child’s academic progress?

If your child receives special services (gifted programs, special education, English classes, speech or occupational therapy, or support for a learning disability), ask about the frequency of these services and about your child’s progress with them.

Ask for explanations of anything you don’t understand.

Listen carefully to what the teacher says. If you don’t understand something that the teacher talks about (such as an educational term or an explanation of a school policy), don’t be afraid to ask for clarification. It is important for you to understand what your child’s teacher is telling you.

Ask the most important questions early in the conference.

Ask the most important questions first as you may run out of time, especially if other parents are waiting to have their conference after yours. You can always schedule another meeting with the teacher to cover any points you didn’t cover.

Questions to Ask During Your Next Parent-Teacher Conference

Meetings can be a lot of things. They can be productive.

via GIPHY

They can be boring.

via GIPHY

They can be stressful.

via GIPHY

Most of the time, they are a weird combination of all three.

However, when it comes to parent-teacher conferences, everyone involved wants them to be as meaningful as possible. Unfortunately, that adds a unique kind of pressure to them. How do you share enough information in 30 minutes to make your kid’s school experience as positive as possible?

via GIPHY

No need to panic. At Little Sunshine’s Playhouse®, we believe that parents and teachers are partners in education. Working together is the best way to give your child the quality education they deserve, and parent-teacher conferences play an important role in that partnership.

Here is a list of questions you can ask during a parent-teacher conference that will maximize the time you have with your child’s teacher.

General Questions

  • What is my child like in class?
  • Is my child talkative or quiet?
  • Does my child have a favorite activity?
  • Are there activities s/he doesn’t care for?

Strengths & Weaknesses

  • What activities does my child excel at?
  • Which individual subjects (math, science, reading, etc.) are they good at? What subjects are they struggling in?
  • For areas of weakness, how are you (the teacher) adapting the lessons to help my child learn more easily?

Social/Emotional Development

  • Is my child’s social and emotional development typical for his/her age?
  • Does my child understand how to share and take turns?
  • Do they express empathy and concern for other people?
    • If you as the parent think it’s necessary, ask about specific interactions with certain teachers and classmates.

Getting Along With Adults

  • Does my child know how to ask for something politely?
  • How do staff members respond when my child has a problem?
  • Does my child listen to and follow instructions?

Getting Along With Peers

  • Is my child more inclined to play with other kids or by themselves?
  • What happens during group activities? Does my child have a lot to say? Do other kids do most of the talking?
  • Does my child have a best friend?
  • Are there any kids my child doesn’t get along with?
    • This is also the time where you as the parent can (and should) bring up concerns about your child’s interactions with his/her classmates if you have them.

Behavioral Issues

  • Has my child behaved aggressively toward any classmates? Has a classmate behaved aggressively toward my child?
  • If any aggressive behaviors have occurred, how did you (the teacher) respond?
  • Did the aggressive behavior stop after the intervention or has it persisted?
  • Are there some situations that tend to upset my child and trigger misbehavior more than others?

How Can You Help?

  • What are some activities that would support learning at home? Are there good stories to read or games to play that might help my child pick up a subject more easily?
  • How can I help you (the teacher) in promoting good behavior and social skills?
  • If there are persistent developmental or behavioral issues that don’t seem to be getting better, are there experts you (the teacher) recommend who could help?

Last Question …

The last question you ask (or maybe the first question, if you think it’s necessary) could be, “May I tell you about what’s going on at home?”

The birth of a child, the death of a family member, a recent move, divorce, illness, or a host of other life events could be a big reason why your child could be struggling at school or behaving differently. Letting your child’s teacher know about them helps them out tremendously! If your teacher knows there are certain things going on in your child’s personal life that could affect their time at school, they can adjust and find solutions. If they’re totally in the dark, they can’t effectively help your child on a day-to-day basis.

There’s no need to go into lots of detail if you don’t want to. A brief summary of the situation is all they’ll need to start. If they have follow-up questions, they’ll ask.

Parent meetings begin in schools. What questions you should definitely ask the teacher, and what you should not ask if you do not want to spoil your relationship with him.

Kirill Kukhmar/TASS

So, the parents are going to the first meeting in their lives. What do they need to know about the teacher? First, go to the official website of the school. There will definitely be information about what kind of education the teacher has, what his teaching experience is and how he improved his qualifications. All this is important.

– You should not be embarrassed if the column “education” is “pedagogical school” or “pedagogical college”. It is very good if the teacher graduated from college first, and then from the university. Pay attention to work experience. It is desirable that the teacher had at least a short experience, – Larisa Nozhichkina, a child psychologist, an expert at the Department of Pedagogical Technologies of Continuous Education at Moscow State Pedagogical University, told RG.

She gave six tips to parents of first-graders:

1. At the meeting, the first thing we ask is: what should a first-grader be able to do? Most likely, the answer will be this: tie your shoelaces, recognize your things, be able to ask to go to the toilet, know the name and patronymic of the parents.

2. We ask the teacher what the schedule of classes will be: is there an after-school program, after which lesson is breakfast, how long is the break, will they be assigned homework, how much?

3. Now children come to school with very different levels of knowledge. One already fluently reads Pushkin, the other does not even know the letters. Ask the teacher: will there be an individual approach to the student? Feel free to ask: “My child can already read, how will you keep him busy in the lesson?” And be attentive to the answer: “I will take him to the library, what should he do with everyone”, “I will make him my assistant in the lesson”, “I will put him on the last desk and give you an assignment” …

4. At the first meeting, exchange phone numbers with the teacher and immediately agree on a convenient time to call. Some teachers work double shifts or stay with the children on aftercare. Do you think that 6-7 pm is the best time to disturb the teacher? Or maybe he just finished his work day?

5. Suppose a child has a disease. Should I report this to the teacher? “My opinion is yes. If a child needs some procedures during the school day, there is a need to often leave the classroom for a toilet or medical office, say, for an injection, it is necessary to agree with the teacher on a conventional sign so as not to distract the whole class each time “, – says Larisa Nozhichkina.

6. Exchange email addresses with the teacher and see how quickly the teacher can respond. It is not unusual for a teacher to answer you in a day or two. Unless, of course, we are talking about some urgent things. If a teacher asks you to follow their Instagram page, follow them.

“Experience shows that it is better for parents to maintain business relations with the teacher, to do without personal ones. Therefore, you should not ask the teacher if she has a husband, children, in which apartment she lives – her own or rented,” the psychologist explained.

The first parent-teacher meeting: what you should definitely ask your teacher about

You can learn most about your child’s future school life at the first parent-teacher meeting. True, it is not so easy to make a list of all the questions. Don’t worry, we’ve made a list of topics for you to discuss with your teacher. Check if you missed anything?

1. How will the children study?

Schools in Russia themselves determine the working hours (five or six days) and vacation schedule (once every five weeks or three times per academic year). You can study according to the familiar quarter system, by trimesters (three trimesters of three months, holidays twice, 17–18 days each, in autumn and spring) and by modules (five academic weeks and one week of vacation). Although the final grades for children are still given at the end of the trimester, and not the so-called module.

2. What time do the lessons end?

Weekly load and the maximum number of items per day – all these norms are regulated by the SanPiN resolution. The maximum load per day for the first grade is 4 lessons. The document also says that objects of different complexity must be alternated. There should not be double lessons in elementary school. But the distribution of items by week is not described there.

3. Are extended day groups paid?

Despite the fact that from this year the extension will be organized in a new way and the fee for it should be reduced, schools are allowed to set the price for parents for their child’s stay in an educational institution after school. The school has the right to reduce the amount of the specified fee or not to collect it from certain categories of parents. And don’t forget: according to the law “On Education”, a child has the right to be in school free of charge for two hours after the end of classes.

4. How many people will be in the class?

There must not be more than 25 children per class, except for compensatory education classes. But now almost every school has classes with a significant excess of this standard. According to the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Federal Law of the Russian Federation “On Education”, everyone in our country is guaranteed the right to receive education. This means that a child who has reached a certain age and with the appropriate documents, the director is obliged to enroll in a school and thus exercise his rights guaranteed by the Constitution. In accordance with sanitary standards, the number of students in a class is determined based on the calculation of compliance with the area norm per child, compliance with the requirements for arranging furniture in classrooms, including the distance of places for classes from a light-bearing wall, requirements for natural and artificial lighting. Therefore, if the area of classrooms allows you to allocate a study place for a child, the class size can be increased.

5. Are there extracurricular activities and do I need to pay for them? And can you refuse?

Attendance at classes outside the approved curriculum is not considered mandatory, so each family has the right to determine the need for these classes and plan the child’s time.

A court in Krasnoyarsk placed a 19-year-old girl under arrest, who came to a kindergarten with a gun. The message is posted on the website of the regional department of the Investigative Committee. The girl is suspected of murder (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code), as well as attempted murder of minors in a generally dangerous way (part 3 of article 30, subparagraphs “a”, “c”, “e”, part 2 of article 105 UK).

On March 28, the girl came to kindergarten No. 31, located on Menzhinsky Street in Krasnoyarsk. On the pretext that she needed to pick up the child, she went inside the building. However, three teachers who met her in the group noticed that she had a gun under her coat and asked her to go to the locker room.

“One of the educators took measures to seize the weapon, during which a shot was fired at the wall of the group’s premises. At that moment, the physical education instructor knocked the intruder to the floor and held her until the police arrived, ”the IC said in a statement.

No children were injured as a result of the shooting. The police seized a gun and 39 rounds of ammunition from the girl. Investigators also believe that the girl, before visiting the kindergarten, quarreled with her 56-year-old father and killed him, and a few days before the incident, she came to the kindergarten under the pretext of employment in order to fix the layout of the building, the UK points out.

“During the interrogation, the woman explained that she intended to commit the murder of male children,” the agency says.

According to TVK Krasnoyarsk, the girl is the daughter of one of the employees of the TV channel, who shortly before the incident changed her first and last name, and after that she received a weapon permit. According to the TV channel, she owned a smooth-bore multi-shot MP-135 pump-action shotgun.

Sergey Kravchuk: We will complete the kindergarten on Zaparina street this year | News

It will be designed to receive 190 children, its construction is carried out within the framework of the national project “Demography”.

Photo: Khabarovsk city administration press service

The construction of a new kindergarten on Zaparina Street will be completed at the end of this year. This pre-school institution, designed for 190 children, is being built as part of the implementation of the national project “Demography”, reports the correspondent of the portal PROkhab.ru.

Today, the construction site located on Zaparin Street between Serysheva Street and Amur Boulevard in the center of the regional capital was personally visited by the Mayor of Khabarovsk Sergey Kravchuk. He examined the progress of ongoing work and talked with contractors, and also told reporters that the decision to build another kindergarten in the center of Khabarovsk was made due to the construction of a large residential complex “Amursky Quarter” on the site of the GUPRovsky town. And now the residents of these high-rise new buildings will be provided with places in the kindergarten for their children.

It is worth noting that four nursery groups will be created in the future kindergarten, which can accommodate up to 60 babies aged 2 months or older. In addition, this building will have a pitched roof, as the guarantee for it reaches 50 years. The construction of the kindergarten is being carried out as part of the implementation of the national project “Demography” at the expense of the federal, regional and city budgets. At the moment, the builders have finished concreting the technical, first and second floors of the building, having started pouring concrete on the walls of the third floor. In addition, they have already made the external waterproofing of the basement walls and completed the installation of wall drainage.

— It is necessary to complete not only asphalt laying, but also to plant green spaces, install fences and children’s play areas, and provide lighting before frost. This “Customer Service” should take it into its “armament” and, together with the contractor, develop a roadmap for improvement. The deadlines are tight – in December of this year we have to hand over the kindergarten, – said Sergey Kravchuk , instructing contractors to speed up the improvement of the territory adjacent to the object, as long as the weather permits.

Simultaneously with the construction of the kindergarten, the city authorities are recruiting people who will work in it after it is put into operation. Also, all educational programs have already been developed, which will soon be applied in this preschool institution. In addition, members of the public council for the development of the Kirovsky District are actively following the construction of a kindergarten on Zaparina Street, because many families with small children live in this area, and they are all waiting for the new kindergarten to appear.

  • Smaller communities with a neighborhood feel allow for lower construction costs, which benefits the residents

  • Utilization of technology for telehealth and telemedicine allows us to create better health outcomes

  • Proactive wellness programs allow us to focus on exercise and holistic wellness

  • A well-trained and highly skilled nursing team allows us to provide outstanding personal care services, as well as coordinate and communicate medical needs with physicians, families, and other team members among residents, associates and

The KindCare Way

KindCare Assisted Living was created to ensure that the many benefits of assisted living and memory care are available to a larger percentage of our senior population than the more “traditional” brands of assisted living and memory care. Our founders made it clear that we were to provide the same level of services, amenities, and personal care delivery – if not better – than the various competitors out there and to do it at a price point that was transparent and more affordable than most options available today.

KindCare feels that having residents become well known to not only our associates but to one another, family members, and all persons involved in the care team leads to better outcomes. With this focus on the person and proactive wellness – we have created a neighborhood feel throughout our communities.

In doing so, we are able to ensure our residents have access to top-notch amenities and services, multiple dining options throughout the day, utilization of technology, and proactive wellness programs to create not only better health outcomes but fully engaged, rich lives dependent on resident interests and desires.

KindCare is able to offer all of this and more at an all-inclusive cost – meaning that your cost is the same month over month – and you won’t get a phone call that your rate is going up next month due to service-level changes.

Community Pride, Community Care

So many factors help us decide how to choose the best community for ourselves or our loved ones. Physical health and well-being, as well as social, emotional and economic factors, come into play. Many providers may meet needs on some of these issues, but KindCare addresses all of a potential resident’s concerns.

KindCare partners with your current healthcare provider to enhance the overall care team in providing healthcare services and personal care needs. Our companion suite model gives residents both privacy and the opportunity for more interaction, not only with friends and family members, but also with friends and family members of their suitemates. This model, by design, leads to more socialization and better overall emotional well-being.

ethical issues and possible preventive measures essay example

In today’s society, scandals that have befallen large corporations are quickly detected and discussed through the use of the media. How a company responds and solves a problem can be detrimental to success and growth. In the following text, we will discuss the recent Wells Fargo scandal, ethical issues, and how or if the scandal could have been prevented.

Case Facts

In 2008/2009, Wells Fargo introduced a quota for opening or cross-selling by employees across the company. However, it was discovered that in order to meet the quota, employees began to create fake accounts for customers. These “free” accounts promised by employees to customers were actually premium accounts, Wells Fargo premium accounts come with high fees. These large commissions lead to account overdrafts, and account overdrafts lead to more serious problems, such as the destruction of a client’s credit lines.

Ethical issues

The most obvious ethical issue of the 2008/2009 Wells Fargo scandal. there was a loss or breach of trust that resulted in the loss of integrity of Wells Fargo employees. The loss of integrity for personal incentive had an impact on the corporation as a whole. Poor decision-making issues, chosen and carried out by employees rather than consumers, are detrimental to Wells Fargo’s reputation and morale.

Was Wells Fargo wrong or not?

Wells Fargo employees were wrong, they lied, created and opened fake accounts, and hid the fact that they did it to get an incentive. Piazza & Jourdan (2018) acknowledged that without publicity, organizations’ misbehavior may or may not change organizational membership, meaning that if they are not caught, employees will stay to reap the benefits of their paycheck. Carberry, EJ, Engelen, P. & Van Essen, M. (2018) found that the costs of corporate misconduct begin with the cost of replacing employees and can lead to reputational penalties that can be associated with a corporation’s decline in share price and loss interested parties. The entire Wells Fargo account-opening scandal was systemic in the sense that it involved the entire company and was not caused by one person.

What is the root cause or source?

Knowing and distributing incentives for employees to cross-sell services and accounts was the biggest problem in the Wells Fargo scandal. Elections were made within the whole company so that everyone who participated in them could benefit.

How could this have been avoided?

First of all, without offering an incentive for quota purposes. When you create rewards but don’t track how they are achieved or earned, you start allowing employees to engage in unethical business practices. What’s more, when Wells Fargo executives discovered there was a problem with fake accounts, they needed to stop the program, declare the problem, and fix it before it got worse. Corporations facing misconduct try to limit the exposure of problems in order to limit external losses. In an attempt to remedy the situation, Wells Fargo laid off 5,300 participating employees, about 1 percent of the company’s 300,000 employees. However, when there are multiple reasons for hitting certain market thresholds, it’s not just your day-to-day employees that are at fault. Piazza & Jourdan (2018) recognized that when a member of an organization is attached to it and has to deal with the consequences, the less they should react to a scandal. The corporate culture will have to change, starting with making sure that the ethical decisions of the CFO or CEO are consistent with those of the company. The higher-ranking employee has the opportunity to convey to all employees the ethical business values necessary to conduct business with integrity.

When misbehavior becomes the focus of attention, the organization has the opportunity to show that they have higher ethical standards or are perceived as strict adherents of ethical standards. With a combination of personal and business ethics, organizational control and government regulation, the company is less likely to create an unethical corporate culture. However, more than one person or department is responsible for how an organization is run, and its social responsibility leads to better bottom line results, greater profits, and more customers for business growth.

5 Things Your Child will Learn at Daycare

Every day, millions of children will laugh, learn, and play at one of the thousands of child care facilities across the United States.  Daycare is a great option both for parents who have busy work schedules and for their children who can gain from daycare’s many benefits.  A good child care center gives children a safe and nurturing place to explore the world around them while also learning and gaining important skills needed to thrive both in school and in life. Here are five advantages of placing your child in an early education program at an accredited childcare center.

1. Social Skills

Attending daycare allows children to develop social skills early on which are valuable for their social and emotional development. Learning how to deal with other people allows children to grow and the earlier a child begins to build his or her social kills, the easier it will become. Interacting regularly with other kids means learning how to better relate to their peers and also better understanding their emotions and ways of solving problems.

Another way kids can benefit socially and emotionally is by learning important values early on such as sharing, working together, kindness, and respect for others. These traits will become invaluable as they progress through the developmental years and into adulthood.

2. Self-Assurance

When children interact with people other than their parents, whether peers or adult care givers, they learn to trust other people and be more confident with themselves. This can reduce separation anxiety when kids start school. Small children have difficulty understanding the concept of time, which can lead to feelings of anxiety when separated from their parents.  Through the daily routine of engaging with another group of supportive adult caregivers and fellowship of other kids around them can help them to overcome fears of being separated from their mom and dad.

3. Cognitive skills

Children can benefit cognitively from the activities and learning games offered at a quality child care center. They will learn language skills, colors and numbers, and more. In addition, children learn and develop thinking skills by playing and exploring the world through their curiosity.  A good daycare facility will include several types of learning exercises each day, often disguised as “play” so that children are more likely to enjoy the learning process.

4. Immunity to Illnesses

Another often overlooked advantage of daycare is that children are more exposed to illnesses, which can build up their immunity to them. This can mean less sick days during the upcoming school years.   Also, a good child care facility will teach students the importance of proper hygiene techniques, from how and when to wash their hands to the proper way to blow their noses and dispose of tissues.

5. Discipline

The structure and routine in child care facilities gives children a sense of stability and familiarity each day.   Most programs follow set schedules for snack time, naps, and activities.  This instills a routine that teaches children discipline around their daily tasks and a sense of consistency that allows them to feel more emotionally secure.  Time management is often cited as one of the keys to success in life and learning this valuable skill as a child can build habit that will carry throughout a young person’s entire life.

The time that a child spends in day care can be very rewarding, leaving them with valuable skills in addition to hours of fun and socializing with other kids.  The right daycare facility can provide a safe, nurturing environment for children that will help prepare them for school and beyond.

Today, about 80 percent of the children attending Kidskeller have one or more parents working at the Medical Center. Infants

We aim to provide a stimulating environment for babies on the move with age-appropriate toys and activities like soft blocks, mirrors, sensory tables and pull-toys—all designed to encourage infant development through exploration and interaction.

Infants are fed bottles and baby foods according to their individualized schedules. Albany Med Kids provides formula (Enfamil with iron), infant cereal, vegetables and fruit, or parents may choose to bring in their own pumped breast milk, formula or food. Nursing mothers are encouraged to nurse their infants at any time in our private nursing area. All parents are welcome to visit their infants at any time throughout the day.

At the end of each day, you will receive a report from your baby’s teachers noting how much your child ate, length of naps, number of diaper changes, and any other pertinent information about the day.

Toddlers

Our toddler curriculum is designed to promote each child’s growing independence and development. Children are stimulated through learning centers that encourage gross and fine motor skills, language, and cognitive skills. Social skills are gained through family-style meals, the sharing of toys, and small group play. We foster each child’s sense of independence by practicing skills such as getting dressed, eating with a spoon, and drinking from a cup. Private space is available for toddlers who are ready to begin potty training.

At this age, scheduled nap time is encouraged from 1 to 3 p.m. each day. Children who do not sleep during rest time are offered a quiet activity.

Preschool

Our preschool classrooms focus on each child’s increasing curiosity and newly emerging skills through advanced learning centers for interests in arts, math, reading, and science. Children are encouraged to experiment and explore with a variety of textures like sand, water, and clay, and other scientific investigation equipment. Imaginations are developed through dramatic play props such as those for housekeeping and transportation. Art projects using paper, paint, markers and other materials foster creative expression. Children are taught to be responsible and to help others by taking turns with classroom chores.

By the end of preschool, our goal is for your child to recognize his or her name, be able to identify shapes and colors, and begin to recite numbers and letters.

Pre-K

In their final year before transitioning to kindergarten, our goal is for children in our pre-K program to have built a solid foundation of readiness skills, allowing them to successfully move into a more formal educational setting.

Through our curriculum, we strive to help your child accomplish the following objectives by the end of pre-K:

At the parent meeting before the start of the school year, it is important to tell what and how children will be fed in kindergarten. For a brief and reasoned discussion with parents about the most important nutritional issues, see the expert comments. Their answers take into account new methodological recommendations. Do not forget to listen to the opinion and wishes of the parents as well. They must be relied upon when compiling the menu.

Questions to discuss with parents

1

Which menu is more convenient and useful: a two-week or four-week menu.

4

Is it possible to bring treats to a birthday party.

2

What to give for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner.

5

What to do if your child is allergic to a food.

3

Is it necessary to force children to eat.

6

Do I need to prepare oxygen cocktails in kindergarten.

Which menu is more convenient and useful: a two-week or a four-week menu?

The menu must be drawn up for at least two weeks (according to new MP 2.4.5.0131–18). However, it is better if the kindergarten has a four-week cyclical menu.

It includes a larger set of products and makes food more varied, food stereotypes are not created in children. In such a menu, for example, a larger assortment of cereals, vegetables in the form of vegetable dishes, soups, salads. However, its cost is slightly higher. The main thing is that the menu should have a mandatory set of products. Below you will find a list of them that you can distribute to your parents.

SanPiN prohibits bringing food from home to kindergarten. But you can bring industrial products in individual packaging. However, nutritionists do not recommend doing this. Parents usually buy products that contain a lot of artificial additives, a lot of sugar: juices, chocolates, lollipops, sweet cookies. Healthy products (fruits, berries) cannot be brought because of the epidemiological danger. If parents really want to celebrate a child’s birthday, advise bringing marshmallows, high-quality cookies, and drying. And it is better to give a drink that is prepared in kindergarten – tea, herbal tea, compote.

What to give for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner?

Breakfast in the kindergarten consists of a hot dish: porridge, casserole, cottage cheese or egg dishes. It also includes a sandwich and a hot drink. The second breakfast is a dessert: fruit, juice. Lunch may include an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a drink. An appetizer is a salad or portioned vegetables, herring with onions. The first course is soup. The second dish of meat, fish or poultry with a side dish. Drink – compote or jelly, fortified drink, juice. For an afternoon snack, children receive milk, sour-milk drinks, juices or tea with bakery or confectionery products without cream. For an afternoon snack, you can also cook cottage cheese or cereal casseroles. Dinner includes fish, meat, vegetable and cottage cheese dishes, salads and hot drinks.

How to feed children in the evening at home?

If the child was in kindergarten for 12 hours, he had a full dinner from 18:30 to 19:00. Upon returning home, ask the child if he wants to eat, and if the baby is hungry, offer him a second dinner. Dinner should be no more than five percent of the daily calorie intake. The most successful option is fermented milk products: fermented baked milk, yogurt, kefir, curdled milk in a volume of 150–200 ml. This allows you to comply with the daily routine, which provides for timely preparation for sleep in the period no later than 21:00–21:30. Higher calorie supplementary dinner from 19:30 to 20:30 can cause overweight and obesity.

Should children be forced to eat?

It is impossible to force a child to eat, whatever the reasons for his refusal to eat. When a child does not want to eat, the body does not secrete gastric juice, which is necessary for proper digestion. Educators must find the right approach to the baby, never forgetting the main thing: no negative emotions at the table. But a child’s body needs a variety of nutrients for full growth and development. If a child does not eat well in kindergarten, give parents a reminder with which they can correct this situation.

What should I do if my child is allergic to a food?

If the child is allergic to any product, the parents must bring a statement from the gastroenterologist and pediatrician. Some kindergartens have health-improving groups, for whose children a special menu has been developed. But it is also possible to exclude or replace a product that the child does not absorb well in the usual group. The main thing is that educators and a nurse should know about this.

Products are excluded from the menu for children, taking into account their individual intolerance. But usually they do not give citrus fruits, seafood, chocolate and chocolate products. Cow’s milk products can be replaced with fermented milk products. Do not add spices and spices to soups and main dishes. Children with food allergies are also not given sausages, sausages, boiled sausage, fatty fish. Limit foods that contain a large amount of organic acids: sour apples, cranberries.

Do I need to prepare oxygen cocktails in kindergarten?

Oxygen cocktails are good for children. They provide the body with oxygen, increase immunity, improve blood circulation and metabolism. They are necessary for children who attend sports sections or additional classes, as an oxygen cocktail restores strength and improves memory.

But oxygen cocktails are not food. They can be given to children only as directed by a doctor. Doses and composition are also determined by the doctor, and the nurse prepares the cocktail. Oxygen cocktails are given in courses of 10-15 days, with breaks of 1-2 months, several times a year, during the period when walking time is reduced due to bad weather.

The oxygen cocktail includes fruit and berry syrups, herbal extracts, natural flavors, thickeners and shaping agents: gelatin, egg white. This mixture is saturated with oxygen, with which the therapeutic and prophylactic effect is associated.
