After the publication of the Krasnodar Notepad article about the abolition of school buses on the Western Bypass and replacing them with public transport, heated debates broke out between citizens on this topic in the comments. On July 24, we tell why people are outraged by the refusal of specialized transport for children, and what those who support this decision of the administration say.
“This is a necessity! Why should we always save on children! Or is there not enough money in the budget of the Krasnodar Territory for children? It’s even a shame that such a problem has arisen, and it’s a shame to read the answers of officials, stupid explanations !!!”
“Here they are! Local authorities used to give away school buses with glamor and pomp, now they’re taking them away. ..”.
Such comments can be read under the publication of Krasnodar’s Notebook about the abolition of school buses. Recall that last week the journalist met with residents of the villages located in the area of the Western Bypass, who complained that in the new academic year their children would be left without school buses, since, by decision of the administration, they would be replaced by ordinary public transport operating under gross contracts. Outraged parents explained to the correspondent that they don’t have schools within walking distance, children need to travel 5 or more kilometers, and their area is not at all a landscaped area, like in the center. Schoolchildren are forced to walk through mud, impassable roads and past dogs, which, of course, is far from safe.
Public transport, which is going to be launched from the new school year, according to parents, will not solve, but will exacerbate the problem, because all the children simply will not fit there and will be forced to be late for school. What the road to the educational institution looks like from, for example, Kalinin Gardens, the journalist was able to see for himself by driving with one of the parents, whose car was simply stuck in a huge mud pit.
The problem rests on the federal law, according to which school transportation is provided only for students from suburban villages, and since the Western bypass is part of Krasnodar, they decided to cancel this delivery there, not taking into account, according to local residents, the specifics of this microdistrict.
People intend to use all available means to achieve the return of school buses, knocking at all levels.
In the comments under the publication heated debate erupted. People continued to express their indignation, not stinting on criticism of the administration. But there were also those who decided to blame the residents themselves for what was happening.
– Thank you very much to the deputy and the journalists who covered the problem and to the parents who are fighting for the school transportation to remain! The problem is serious, for my large family, school transportation is like oxygen. We both work and leave early, just as we return home, the children always pack up and get to school on their own. Thanks to school buses, I was calm about the safety of children on the way to school. I don’t even know what to do from September 1 of this year … I really hope that the mayor of the city, Yevgeny Mikhailovich Naumov, will decide to leave school transportation to schools on the Western Bypass (until schools with walking distance are completed). Previously, the heads made such decisions, understanding the problems of parents in our area. Such social support for families with children is very, very necessary! – says the first comment under the publication on the site.
An alternative opinion has also appeared, in which a resident of the city puts all the responsibility on the people who buy housing in such areas.
– Or maybe before buying a home, you need to look at the infrastructure? Where is the school, clinic, public transport stop? And there will be no need for social activists, deputies, – the woman writes.
Another man recalled his childhood when he allegedly lived in the village and went to school in the center on foot for about 30 minutes.
– And it was fine. Both in winter and in summer. I am sure that most parents have cars, that is, they have the opportunity to go to the mall for clothes and food, and in the morning take the child to school, it’s just laziness and it’s a pity for gasoline. We need to shove everything on the city. In school 102, the photos were clearly chosen on purpose, because there is an asphalt road and goes straight to the school. And the children from school also go along the well-maintained road and not through the mud as it is written, but straight to the bus stop, – Pavel S. spoke, considering that the journalists probably deliberately sorted through the photos, and not just published what they saw.
– Children in Russia should receive a quality education, and not run on foot in the dark through the fields and in the snow and rain, from animals, bandits, reckless drivers, risking their lives and health. The administration is obliged to work for people, otherwise they will not be needed, – the woman answered him, assuming that this person is related to the local authorities.
– What a stupid comment, you understand – it’s not safe, there are no sidewalks, there are a lot of dogs everywhere, and these are not those times !!!!!! – another user adds his opinion, referring to the same man.
– Listen, they used to ride horses. Why don’t you go now. Now, by the way, shifts are taken in all the villages of children. Let the officials then change to public transport, and not use official transport, – writes another city dweller.
– In South Korea, ALL students are transported on school buses! And we even canceled those that were …, – the disturbances continue in the tg-channel.
– There is no need for buses – the budgets will crack, – ironically one of the users.
But even here there were those who do not see anything wrong with the abolition of school transportation, on the contrary, laying the responsibility on the parents.
– I often watched schoolchildren gather at a bus stop near Lenta on Rossiyskaya. They are picked up by a school bus and taken to the 66th and 11th schools. On the Russian mass of public transport. And what prevents schoolchildren from using the city bus? And the released school buses are more reasonable to start up on city routes, – the Krasnodar woman writes and continues. – Parents should think about the safety of children before buying a home in the fields.

– Teenagers run around during the day, and in the evenings and at night, untrustworthy faces appear. They drink and light fires. But by this hot place, many people go to the post office, to supermarkets, children to school. In the evening it’s just scary here: thickets, a lot of garbage and broken bottles, incomprehensible characters loom, – Valentina, a local resident, laments.
The abandoned kindergarten on Komsomolskaya was demolished in 2020. Before the heavy machinery appeared here, officials met with local residents and explained that it was unprofitable to maintain an emergency building at the expense of budgetary funds, especially since a spontaneous dump had formed on its territory. At the same time, representatives of the local authorities once again recalled the promise made two years ago to equip a recreation area in the vacated space. But words remained words. State supervised Licensed family child care homes have at least one unannounced visit every year from a licensing specialist from the Division of Early Care and Learning to assure the program is complying with Colorado child care licensing rules & regulations.
Continuity of Care Children are with the same provider over a long period of time allowing the child and adult to build a loving, trusting, close relationship. Frequent transitions between teachers, classrooms, and programs are not necessary reducing stress on children and families. Children develop friendships that can last years.

Billing and payments
As an ERDC provider, you will be paid by the Direct Pay Unit of the Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC). Families who
pay a copay to cover part of the child care cost will pay their copay directly to you.
The amount you receive is based on:
The child’s age
Your location in Oregon
The type of child care
The number of care hours needed
There is a limit to how much DELC will pay. If you charge more than
the maximum rate DELC will pay, the family must cover the additional cost.
License exempt child care providers need to meet training and safety requirements before they can provide child care and get paid through ERDC. License exempt means you are
not required to be licensed to provide child care by the Office of Child Care (OCC).

Site visits
License exempt providers must pass an initial site visit before approval. You must also pass a site visit yearly after that.
The Office of Child Care (OCC) will contact you to schedule yearly site visits or may do the site visit at your next re-evaluation.
Visits will happen at the place where you provide child care. This includes the home of the child if that is where you are providing care.
OCC staff check to make sure the site meets all health and safety requirements. They can also provide resources if needed.

Drinking water lead testing
Lead exposure is harmful to child development. Testing for lead protects children from exposure to lead in water.
Your home or the facility where you provide care must be tested for lead exposure in water unless you are related to all the children in your care. Lead testing is required for all plumbing fixtures used for drinking, cooking, or preparing food or infant formula.
You can order lead testing kits from an
ORELAP approved lab.
Once you get the results back, attach them to your Child Care Provider Listing form and submit them together. If you don’t submit results, the DELC Direct Pay Unit will send you instructions.
If the results show high levels of lead, the Office of Child Care (OCC) will contact you with more instructions.
You need to pass the lead testing or submit a corrective action plan to remain approved as an DELC child care provider.
If you use only bottled water for drinking, cooking and preparing infant formula at the location where you provide care, you can complete a
Declaration for Bottled Water Use form to be exempt from lead testing. Submit the form with your Child Care Provider Listing form.

I am not a vegetable for you – Mercy.ru
At forty-five, Oksana can sometimes be mistaken for a teenage girl. “Well, yes, I’m small, when at work they put detergents on a high shelf, I have to climb onto a chair,” she says to herself.
– And I wanted to clarify, this article, what is it for? – Oksana asks me before starting the conversation. – For the guys, so that they learn that you can leave the boarding school and live in an apartment? For people, you mean? Now I have it all worked out, now I understand. Let’s ask.
We are sitting in the training apartment of the “Bolshaya Peremena” foundation, Oksana served tea with sweets for the guests. The apartment is empty and clean, on the bed is a large yellow-faced monkey Chita – a birthday present, on the table is a laptop, in which Oksana watches astronomy lessons, and recently she began to shoot videos about how she cooks. It took her more than seven years of hard work to learn how to live an independent life.

Most of her life Oksana lived in an orphanage, then in PNI. Whether she was abandoned at birth or whether she was in the family for some time, it has not been possible to establish so far – Oksana’s documents are lost. The certificate, through long inquiries to various authorities, obtained by the Big Change Foundation, which is now dealing with Oksana’s fate, contains a mysterious phrase: “Mother will be deprived of parental rights.”
Whether the mother has been deprived of her rights to Oksana or her daughter has the right to parental living space and where this living space, if any, is located, the foundation has yet to find out. Recently, the foundation took its students on an excursion to Rzhev. Oksana says she recognized the city. But all small towns are somewhat similar. And how a child from Rzhev could end up in an orphanage in Moscow is also unclear.
At first, Oksana almost screams at my questions – she is very worried in front of a stranger, despite the fact that her curator Irina Aleksandrovna is nearby. But then he calms down and explains:
“I, if something new is coming, I can scold myself from excitement: “I can’t do it, I’m stupid, I won’t do it.” But then I say to myself: “Oksana, don’t worry.” And I calm down. As they say: “The eyes are afraid …”
Irina Aleksandrovna will later tell you that the first thing Oksana had to learn in the Big Break was to speak softly. Even ordinary conversations among themselves in the corridor of the fund school girls from the PNI at first conducted in such a way that the teachers looked out of the classrooms and asked not to interfere with the lessons. It turned out that Oksana simply did not know how to communicate differently – everyone in the boarding school was screaming.
About her childhood, Oksana remembers how someone rocked her on a swing. Next is the orphanage. But one day, she tells me, her father came to her, brought gifts – beautiful dresses – and even seemed to want to take her home, but the teachers did not allow her. And dad’s gifts, according to the girl, were taken to the attic.
What of this was in reality, and what was the fruit of an orphan’s fantasy, is no longer understood. After that incident, Oksana’s parents did not appear in her life.
Touring and injury
At home, I had to learn all the tricks of the kitchen – how to light the stove, how to filter water, how to set the table for tea
“In the children’s boarding school, we often performed as amateur performances,” Oksana recalls. Dancing is not easy for you. We also went to Germany. Mary met us there, she spoke German. We also performed there, lived in a hotel and ate pizza on my birthday. And we were in Bulgaria. They walked on the rocks.”
Irina Alexandrovna explains that children from the boarding school could be taken abroad to some kind of paragames – earlier, at 90-e, this was practiced.
According to Oksana’s memoirs, she was often beaten in the orphanage by the teachers and older children. “Sveta, the eldest girl, set me up. She will do something wrong, and I seem to be guilty. And the teacher Alla Mikhailovna punished me. And they put me on a closet, and from the stairs they hit me with my spine once, which is why my lungs are now broken. It’s hard to breathe sometimes.”
Now that she is not feeling well at work, Oksana goes to the cardiologist at the polyclinic where she works as a cleaner. The doctor knows the girl and shows understanding: “Again your lips are blue.”
And in the children’s boarding school, according to Oksana, the educators sorted through the children’s gifts. So they said: “Everything that was presented, we put it on the table!” They chose snickers and the most delicious sweets and took them home to their children. They also sorted out clothes – before the trip to Germany, Oksana bought everything new, but in the morning it turned out that she had nothing to wear. In the adult boarding school, this was no longer the case.
Oksana tells, and again and again I am amazed at her memory. Oksana’s head is like an oral copy of her personal file, in which boarding school numbers alternate with hospital numbers. She remembers the names and surnames of the offenders with whom she was in the same group more than 30 years ago, the names and patronymics of the teachers, the numbers of orphanages and groups, some specific situations, but her memory does not retain any abstract things.
But at the age of 38, seven years ago, a completely different life began for her.
“You need to live somehow”

“Do you want me to show you what I have prepared? Here’s a pickle! Oksana opens the frying pan, and stewed cabbage with carrots smells appetizing from there. – Here’s an omelet. I also bought chicken today and cooked soup. And for the chicken she went over there, – Oksana points out the window, – to the Crossroads.
Since August 2022, Oksana has been living on her own in the training apartment of the Big Change Foundation. She runs the household herself – cleans, erases, cooks, learns to take meter readings and, under the guidance of teachers, writes “analytics” – monthly plates with a list of expenses.
“I buy groceries with a salary of 15,000,” the girl explains. – And I’m saving my pension for my former, – she gets confused and means the future, – an apartment. Now, if they give me an apartment, I will buy furniture. And, if they give change, I also put it aside, on excursions.
Oksana goes to work at the polyclinic across half of Moscow – from Nekrasovka to Nagatino. Previously, the work was very close to the PNI, but the training apartment was at the foundation on the other side of the city – but now the metro and the bus have been mastered.
“At first, when Oksana and her friend Lena started coming from PNI to our classes, we saw them off part of the way,” explains curator Irina Aleksandrovna. “A volunteer rode with them part of the way from the other end. Then the day came when they traveled all the way on their own. They hung on the phone all the way, but we arrived!”
In covid, according to the curator, Oksana was “lucky” – the PNI was quarantined, they were not allowed to go out at all, but those who worked were evicted to a hostel in Mitino. Therefore, unlike many who remained in the boarding school, Oksana did not lose, but even more trained the skill of driving around the city, and even began to cook for herself regularly. In the boarding school, where there is one teacher for 200 residents, there is no opportunity to work with each individually, and after a break of several months, many children, having returned to classes at the foundation, forgot everything, as if they had never learned anything. For Oksana, moving to a training apartment was just a change of address.
“Oksana, do you remember how in Mitin you were afraid to go out for a walk at first? – recalls Irina Alexandrovna. “He will go halfway home and call us,” the curator explains.
“Yes, I was very afraid of getting lost,” Oksana admits. – And I go to work on a new branch, which Sobyanin opened. It’s twenty o’clock. Far away, but what to do? You have to work. Oksana recalls how frightened she was when she was transferred from a children’s to an adult boarding school. “I thought they took me to a psychiatric hospital,” she says. – Young people walked along the corridor like mummies, they did not react to anything. And they were just on pills – I later realized that.
At PNI, Oksana also participated in amateur performances, and then she was sent to work in a social workshop. In the workshop, it was unexpectedly discovered that the girl could count. At the same time, Oksana’s documents, drawn up while still in the orphanage, indicated that she was incapacitated.
“Why was the girl deprived of her legal capacity if she is smart?” – said the boarding school teachers and began the recovery procedure for Oksana.
“It’s just that the sixteenth is a well-known good boarding school, here Oksana was lucky,” explains Irina Aleksandrovna. “The teachers there are very interested in their residents, they have social workshops, amateur performances and a lot of sports.”
Oksana confided to me that the idea to leave the boarding school was born in her head back in the orphanage, when the family of a friend who went home for the holidays took her to visit them
At the medical commission, when asked why she wants to restore her legal capacity, Oksana answered: “I don’t want nurses to take care of me. I’m not a vegetable, I can do it myself, but I’m shy about nurses. ” Now she slowly adds: “But I don’t like doctors, well, that’s all I don’t like.” It is impossible to find out where and what exactly the doctors scared the girl.
The commission evaluated her answers and instead of the first group of disability gave her a working second. And a couple of weeks after the commission, the director of the boarding school asked her:
– Can you wrap a rag around a stick?
– How else can I wash the floors? she replied.
So Oksana started working in the hospital next door, and when her department was closed, in the polyclinic.
“Come in the morning, wash the corridor, drink tea at 11.15,” Oksana lists her routine every minute. – Then you need to check if everything is in order, and go to the lessons at the foundation at two o’clock. You have to get up at 5 am to catch the first train. And yesterday we went on an excursion, and we were told about this one, well, this one, which Rus’ was baptized. We often go on excursions on topics that Irina Aleksandrovna told us about in history.
An excursion means a lot of impressions, so Oksana imperceptibly raises her voice again, and notes of resentment appear in it. From the side it seems that the girl is shaking her rights, but I already know that Oksana is so worried. And just in case, he defends himself – what if they don’t take it seriously again?
“Recently, I myself led a tour. It turned out to be difficult, but I told everything and then asked everyone questions. (Oksana shows leaflets with the history of Sarinskaya Street, on which the Big Change is now located – the text from them had to be learned by heart.) And I was serious, I didn’t laugh at all. I did it! Oksana explains. – Trained to be a “cursor guide”.
“I want to become a literate person”

Oksana confided to me that the idea to leave the boarding school was born in her head back in the orphanage, when the family of a friend who went home for the holidays took her to visit them. Later, life in an adult boarding school only strengthened this idea.
“Six people in a room, but when I was living with a friend, I already learned what home conditions are! Oksana says. And more gossip. We didn’t have this in the orphanage, I can’t stand them!”
Oksana was told about the “Big Break” by students from PNI, who had already studied at the Foundation’s school. “My friend, who studied, said: “Oksana, don’t you want to study? If you sit in a boarding school, they can again deprive you of legal capacity. You have to develop, try, take a step.” And for some reason this thought about deprivation of legal capacity so sunk into me that I decided to try.
The words about deprivation of legal capacity are not accidental. With Oksana’s features, the brain quickly loses skills without constant training. If you do not go to work, do not read, do not go shopping, do not list the planets of the solar system that Oksana shows on the tablet, do not communicate with people, a person forgets what he has learned. So, despite all the online lessons, Lenka’s friend Lenka, who remained at the boarding school for the pandemic, fell behind.
It took Oksana six and a half years of hard work to get out of the boarding school. Now you can’t throw them away
Oksana herself now knows how to talk to strangers politely, without raising her voice (except when she’s worried), asks questions – finding out what follows from what and what follows. Adds up prime numbers, but with reading came embarrassment.
Seven years ago, when a girl came to Bolshaya Peremena, she immediately declared: “It was Lenka who did not study, but I already studied, I know everything both in Russian and in mathematics.” They began to check, and it turned out that Oksana … does not know how to put letters into words – maybe she once studied, but she forgot. It took several months to put “m-a” into a syllable, since then this skill must be constantly maintained. “I want to become a literate person,” Oksana tells me.
Now, after seven years at the foundation, she reads and writes a little. Oksana calls the task in four steps in her notebook difficult, but quite successfully “calculates checks” – adds up the sums of her purchases for the month.
If you need to go somewhere to an unfamiliar place (for example, to see a doctor in another clinic), Oksana calls the nurse at the information desk and asks to explain how to get there. One of the curators on the Internet orders her clothes, and then Oksana transfers money to her. “She has good taste, I like it,” she says.
And although she rarely visits (she simply has no one to visit, except to go to her orphanage or PNI), she walks a lot, talks “with a kind grandmother and with a man with a dog from a neighboring house”, likes to swing on a swing and buys ice cream about once a month. And also – she likes to be photographed and syrniki and almost learned the list of planets in the solar system.
The main thing is not to unlearn.

From the same year, the preferential right to enroll brothers and sisters in one school began to operate. First, subject to a common place of residence, and then – regardless of their place of registration.
And what to do if someone who does not have benefits does not have enough space?
– As a leader, I will say that the cabinet fund in schools is limited. For three years in a row, children were admitted to the first grade to the maximum. In the next academic year, there will be ten grades of the fourth parallel, 12 grades of third graders and 11 grades of second graders, – notes the director of Yoshkar-Ola School No. 31 Evgeny Nikolaev. “This year we have enrolled six first graders. 348 applications were submitted, and 192 children were enrolled, 150 of them are beneficiaries! It must be clearly understood that the queue is not formed by the school, we verify the original documents and confirm the status of beneficiaries. The remaining applications are considered based on the time of submission of documents. Maybe at exactly 12 am on April 1, the family began to submit documents through the State Services, but due to the heavy load on the network, the system did not immediately miss all the documents.

According to preliminary data, 9476 children will go to the first grade in the new academic year in Mari El.
Most first-graders are in Yoshkar-Ola, followed by the Medvedev district, and Volzhsk closes the top three.
– This is due to active housing construction, which is ahead of the commissioning of social facilities, – explain the situation in the Ministry of Education and Science of Mari El. – To solve the problem, the Education Department of Yoshkar-Ola decided this year to open additional places in the formed classes – 143 places, to open additional classes – 350 places.
The situation is different in remote areas of the republic. For example, this year there will be only 11 first-graders in the Maryinsky school of the Yurinsky district.
“We still have vacancies, we are enrolling everyone,” the school said.
Difficulties at school
The opening of additional places in the formed classes, on the one hand, is a way out, on the other hand, it is a risk. For example, if there should be 25 children in the class, and they scored 36, paying attention to everyone, it becomes more and more difficult to maintain a working atmosphere.
“I work with a class of 31 children,” says Nailya Nabiullina, a primary school teacher at Medvedev School No. 2. – Firstly, it is not possible to interview all students at each lesson and analyze whether they have mastered the material or not. Secondly, it is impossible to find an individual approach to everyone, as there are a lot of children. Thirdly, strong and weak children suffer, as education is aimed at children with an average level of learning. As a result, the level of mastering the material decreases: some are bored, others are very difficult.
And all this against the background of the workload of teachers. It’s no secret that many teachers work more than on a payroll: for example, they teach first-graders in the first shift, and third-grade students in the second.
We have nine primary school teachers in our school. Eight work in two shifts. But in the new academic year we are waiting for new teachers who promised to come, – adds Nailya Takhirovna. – Working in two shifts is hard work, which often leads to professional burnout.
What’s on the horizon?
– Now two schools are being built in Yoshkar-Ola in densely populated areas of the city. A school for 1,100 students is being built in the Vostochny microdistrict, and for 825 students in Yubileiny. The school is also being built in Ruem for 725 places, – experts of the regional education system note. The construction of schools is planned to be completed in 2024.
The next school to be built in Yoshkar-Ola will appear at 9microdistrict, – the mayor of the city Yevgeny Maslov spoke about this live on the air of the Center for Regional Management on July 14.
– The project of the school for 1100 students has passed the state expertise. Now all efforts are aimed at obtaining funding. At the September session, together with the city parliament, we intend to consider issues of increasing funding for design work in order to design two more new schools for 1,100 places and resolve issues on the reconstruction of existing ones, – said Evgeny Vasilievich. – The situation will improve next year for the better, but we still cannot make it so that in the near future everyone can go to study by registration.
If there were not enough places?
Today, everyone who was refused to accept documents for enrolling a child in the first grade should contact the education department at the place of residence. On June 6, the second wave of admission of children to the first grade began. Applications from parents are accepted for vacant places in schools.
– All first-graders of the region will be provided with places in schools until September 1, – summed up the specialists of the Ministry of Education and Science of the region.
Parents applying for the Smart Steps program whose income is below the 85th percentile of State Median Income (which can be found on the Income Eligibility and Parent Co-Pay Fee Table using the 85.0% line that coincides with your household size) who have children six (6) weeks to five (5) years old and who work or go to school, or both, for 30 hours or more a week.
High school or middle school mothers who stay in school who participate in the Teen Parent program.
Parents in the Families First program who need child care to complete the work activities in their personal responsibility plan.
Parents whose Families First case has closed can receive transitional child care assistance for 18 months after their Families First case closes IF each parent works 30 hours or more a week.
Non-parental guardians in the Families First program who need child care for a related child IF the guardian does 30 or more hours of work, training, or education a week.

There was a scandal in kindergarten No. 5 of Verkhnyaya Pyshma: two mothers tried to stand up for young caregivers, but incurred the wrath of other employees and parents.
Alena Akhmadieva transferred her daughter to the younger group of the kindergarten a year and a half ago. Alena’s mother Olga Vladimirovna works as a physical education instructor in this kindergarten.
At the same time, the management of the establishment changed. Two young teachers were placed in the group where Alena’s daughter went. Parents noticed that inexperienced teachers could not cope with the children: the kids were constantly fighting and were bruised and abrasions.
One day Alena came for her daughter and saw that the child was walking around in wet clothes.
— The teacher was dressing the children for a walk, but the nanny left early. My daughter returned home with severe inflammation between her legs, as she had been walking described for a long time, Alena Akhmadieva told E1. RU. – One child almost left the group, others walked unattended on the site.

The girl developed dermatitis (the certificate is at the disposal of the E1.RU editors). If this happened in winter, she could get a cold in her genitals (a similar story happened in Nizhny Tagil).
Alena began to find out why the teachers did not keep track of her daughter. After talking with them, she decided that the head teacher was putting pressure on the teachers, allegedly forcing them to write explanatory notes on every minor occasion. After that, the woman, along with other dissatisfied parents, wrote a complaint to the education department.
— If educators had a normal leader who helps, does not arrange intrigues, they would work, not sort things out. They work in two shifts with the kids, the group is complex, the children are uncontrollable if you don’t know how to communicate with them, – says Alena.
But the educators themselves, apparently, refused their words. During the inspection, no one spoke about the difficult working conditions and did not express complaints. As a result, no violations were found.

The conflict also affected Alena’s mother, who works as a physical education instructor in a kindergarten. Now Olga Vladimirovna is on sick leave. The situation in the kindergarten, according to her, changed after the arrival of a new head and methodologist.
— They immediately said that they would remove unnecessary people. A lot of employees left after that, it was difficult to rebuild, – says Olga Vladimirovna. “Last year, I had to take sick leave to care for my son. The management did not like it, they expressed dissatisfaction with me. I tried to adapt, so even when I was on sick leave I went out and worked.
I never refused them anything, went out to the group, did any work. I don’t know why they behaved this way and why they treated us like that,” she added.
Another mother, Lyudmila Zvereva, faced another problem. She believes that her child was dropped from the group for no reason, although at the same time coughing children went to the kindergarten.
— The youngest in the group has a child coughing excitedly, a terrible cough, not residual, green snot. I call the teacher and say why is he not on sick leave? I was told that the manager forbade touching him, – said Lyudmila. – After this scandal, the doctor began to find fault with my children, landed for no reason. The boiling point was the moment they were sent home. I went with them to a paid doctor, who said that the children are perfectly healthy.
Ludmila also thinks that the guys are not being watched well enough.
– A few days before, my son almost left the group, when another mother caught him on the way out. I am sure now that there is no and will not be supervision over our children, because the entire staff is already set against us, she added.
The head of the kindergarten, Marina Dyachkova, refused to talk to E1.RU, sending her to the Verkhnyaya Pyshma Education Department for comments. The manager didn’t pick up the phone. On another phone number, the departments answered the question of who could comment on the conflict: “Unfortunately, we cannot address you anywhere.”
The press service of the city administration told E1.RU that a prosecutor’s check is underway in the kindergarten, so it’s too early to draw any conclusions.
We said that in a kindergarten at Uralmash, a teacher hit a boy with a wire from a charger, and now investigators are talking to her. And in Serov, in a kindergarten, a three-year-old girl drank solvent.

How do I find a child care provider?
Child care providers can be can be located at Find Child Care. You may search by your address, provider, or county. Providers that accept child care payment assistance can be filtered by selecting the “Accepts Child Care Assistance Program” option.
If I qualify, what will I have to pay?
The co-pay chart estimates your payment based on your income and the number of children you will have in child care. You will receive an exact amount that you will have to pay if you qualify. It’s important that you pay the amount you owe and don’t miss payments. Your child care provider may terminate your child from their program if you don’t pay the amount you owe.

There was a scandal in kindergarten No. 5 of Verkhnyaya Pyshma: two mothers tried to stand up for young caregivers, but incurred the wrath of other employees and parents.
Alena Akhmadieva transferred her daughter to the younger group of the kindergarten a year and a half ago. Alena’s mother Olga Vladimirovna works as a physical education instructor in this kindergarten.
At the same time, the management of the establishment changed. Two young teachers were placed in the group where Alena’s daughter went. Parents noticed that inexperienced teachers could not cope with the children: the kids were constantly fighting and were bruised and abrasions.
One day Alena came for her daughter and saw that the child was walking around in wet clothes.
— The teacher was dressing the children for a walk, but the nanny left early. My daughter returned home with severe inflammation between her legs, as she had been walking described for a long time, Alena Akhmadieva told E1.RU. – One child almost left the group, others walked unattended on the site.

The girl developed dermatitis (the certificate is at the disposal of the E1.RU editors). If this happened in winter, she could get a cold in her genitals (a similar story happened in Nizhny Tagil).
Alena began to find out why the teachers did not keep track of her daughter. After talking with them, she decided that the head teacher was putting pressure on the teachers, allegedly forcing them to write explanatory notes on every minor occasion. After that, the woman, along with other dissatisfied parents, wrote a complaint to the education department.
— If educators had a normal leader who helps, does not arrange intrigues, they would work, not sort things out. They work in two shifts with the kids, the group is complex, the children are uncontrollable if you don’t know how to communicate with them, – says Alena.
But the educators themselves, apparently, refused their words. During the inspection, no one spoke about the difficult working conditions and did not express complaints. As a result, no violations were found.

The conflict also affected Alena’s mother, who works as a physical education instructor in a kindergarten. Now Olga Vladimirovna is on sick leave. The situation in the kindergarten, according to her, changed after the arrival of a new head and methodologist.
— They immediately said that they would remove unnecessary people. A lot of employees left after that, it was difficult to rebuild, – says Olga Vladimirovna. “Last year, I had to take sick leave to care for my son. The management did not like it, they expressed dissatisfaction with me. I tried to adapt, so even when I was on sick leave I went out and worked.
I never refused them anything, went out to the group, did any work. I don’t know why they behaved this way and why they treated us like that,” she added.
Another mother, Lyudmila Zvereva, faced another problem. She believes that her child was dropped from the group for no reason, although at the same time coughing children went to the kindergarten.
— The youngest in the group has a child coughing excitedly, a terrible cough, not residual, green snot. I call the teacher and say why is he not on sick leave? I was told that the manager forbade touching him, – said Lyudmila. – After this scandal, the doctor began to find fault with my children, landed for no reason. The boiling point was the moment they were sent home. I went with them to a paid doctor, who said that the children are perfectly healthy.
Ludmila also thinks that the guys are not being watched well enough.
– A few days before, my son almost left the group, when another mother caught him on the way out. I am sure now that there is no and will not be supervision over our children, because the entire staff is already set against us, she added.
The head of the kindergarten, Marina Dyachkova, refused to talk to E1.RU, sending her to the Verkhnyaya Pyshma Education Department for comments. The manager didn’t pick up the phone. On another phone number, the departments answered the question of who could comment on the conflict: “Unfortunately, we cannot address you anywhere.”
The press service of the city administration told E1.RU that a prosecutor’s check is underway in the kindergarten, so it’s too early to draw any conclusions.

Summer has come!
Summer is a fun vacation, hiking in nature, swimming in the sea and many, many other interesting things and adventures.
On the first day of summer, the International holiday is celebrated – Children’s Day. This is not only a fun holiday for the children themselves, it is also a reminder to society of the need to protect the rights of the child, so that all children grow up happy, study, do what they love and become wonderful parents and citizens of their country in the future.
Joyfully, loudly, warmly and colorfully passed the main holiday of childhood – Children’s Day – in our kindergarten. Bright multi-colored balloons and fervent children’s songs met the kids at the entrance to the territory of the kindergarten from the very morning. And what is a holiday without guests? The bright “Sweetie” came to visit us for the holiday! The guys told her about the summer, and the Heroine taught the guys how to do fun exercises! He also played games with the children, danced and held entertaining sports relay races. In parting, Candy gave soap bubbles to all the kids. It was nice to see the joyful smiles of the kids and hear the cheerful children’s laughter. Happy holiday, our dear children!!! On May 28, Graduation Party was held in kindergarten.
Graduation party in kindergarten is the most touching, most unforgettable of all holidays.
The word “prom” for everyone, without exception, evokes certain associations. This is parting, sadness, good parting words. Graduation ball is a symbol of the end of a wonderful “sadikovskaya” time. And this holiday should remain in the memory of graduates forever. Graduation in kindergarten is a very important holiday for children and their parents. He comes quite unexpectedly. It would seem that only yesterday parents brought their kids, and today it’s time to say goodbye to this cozy place, which has become a real second home for children.
On the 28th of May graduation holidays took place in our kindergarten. Preparation for them was very exciting and responsible. There were songs, dances, games and gifts at the celebration. Festive costumes for boys, dresses with fluffy skirts for girls decorated the holiday. Beautiful songs about kindergarten, about teachers, about parents excited everyone present. Incendiary dances from the first chords were accompanied by applause from the audience.
Behind are the days filled with fascinating journeys into the world of unknown, unsolved, amazing discoveries. Ahead is a difficult road to the world of adult school life. Every year, our kindergarten lets out not ordinary preschool children, but real talented and wonderful stars to school. Each child in the group is a little star. Everyone is talented and unique. We fell in love with them over the years we lived together, and today with pride and hope, sadness we let them go to school.

If you are starting a day care center, take some time to lay out all potential costs before beginning your operations. This will help you avoid expensive last-minute surprises. Your costs will depend on the size of your day care center and the amenities you plan to offer. For example, after-school care may only require you to serve snacks to the children, while all-day care would require at least one full meal plus snacks.
Facility Costs
Your facility must meet all local standards for day care design and construction, such as handrails, widened doors for disabled children, electrical outlet covers, child-proof cabinet latches, and stair guards. Estimate costs for any electronic entertainment options you will be providing for the children, such as televisions, video game consoles and DVD players. Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s

place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5-12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5-12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3-12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we

We provide nutritious meals and snacks developed by a registered dietician to meet the needs of rapidly growing bodies and minds. If your child has special dietary requirements and you would prefer to bring in their lunch, please make arrangements with the center director.
Does my child need to be potty-trained?
Every child begins toilet learning at a different age. Until your child shows an interest in toilet learning, we’ll provide diaper changes on an as-needed basis. When your child shows an interest, we’ll discuss how to work together to encourage toilet learning.

What really impressed me about this daycare center was their unique approach to learning; rather than a one-size fits all classroom approach, they provide activities tailored to the individual needs of each child. My daughter has been attending Principrin School since she was 4 and I have seen her come a long way. I felt confident that each child was getting an appropriate amount of attention from the staff while they are learning and developing their skills.

Multiple children have been sickened after a carbon monoxide leak at a day care in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Action News has learned a malfunctioning furnace caused a carbon monoxide leak that sickened more than two dozen people, children and adults, at a day care facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The incident was reported Tuesday morning at Happy Smiles Learning Center in the 400 block of Wabash Street.
Emergency crews responded to a 911 call for an unconscious child.
The owner of the day care center, Jesenia Gautreaux, says she was on her way to the facility when she received a call from an employee right around 7:30 a.m. saying there was something wrong with one of the children.
“All of a sudden he just collapsed. They tried to bring him back, but he was just not responding. So my staff called 911 right away,” Gautreaux said.
Captain John Christopher of the Allentown Fire Department said when firefighters and EMTs arrived on the scene, monitors on their bags alerted them of the carbon monoxide leak.
The center was completely evacuated as a result.
The fire chief said it turned into a massive emergency response as multiple people were showing symptoms.

Multiple children were placed on stretchers, as more waited to be transported.
Authorities said a total of 32 people, 28 children and 4 adults, were taken to four hospitals in the Lehigh Valley.
Several of the kids have been transferred to Philadelphia hospitals for treatment with hyperbaric oxygen.
Nineteen of the patients had CO levels in their blood ten times higher than normal.
Action News is told all of the victims, including the child who passed out, are listed in stable condition. We’ve also learned there were no functioning carbon monoxide detectors inside the day care.
It turns out, the city of Allentown passed a statute a few months ago mandating day care facilities all be equipped with carbon monoxide detectors.

But the deadline for day care operators to install those detectors is October 27 – a bit more than two weeks away.
That’s why Happy Smiles Learning Center was able to pass inspection this past summer without a CO detector.
Allentown officials say they passed the ordinance on the local level because a statewide bill requiring daycare facilities to install CO monitors remains stalled in Harrisburg.
Meanwhile, Gautreaux says she has every intention of reopening her business after the source of the carbon monoxide leak is found and repaired.
“I will do my best to do it as quickly as possible,” Gautreaux said.

On February 9, dentists all over the world celebrate their professional holiday. Since 2012, a dental office “Dental Lux” has been opened in Vichuga. During this time, many residents of the city and the region, as well as other settlements, have appreciated the high service of medical services and the skill of specialists working here.
Natalya Andreevna Novozhilova, General Director of Dental Lux LLC, shared with me about the path to this interesting and much-needed profession, the first experience and plans for further development.
Natalya is a native Vichuzhanka, born on June 1, 1988 in the family of Tatyana Mikhailovna and Andrey Anatolyevich Kashintsev. She was brought up with her older sister Elena.
While still at school number 11, when for the first time I seriously thought about who I would like to become in the future, I decided to join the police and enter the Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Good academic performance, excellent physical data and regular sports would make it possible to realize our plans without much difficulty. In addition, the young girl has always been attracted to this profession by discipline and high responsibility. “However, the relatives did not approve of this idea, and mother ,” explains Natalya, “ did not want to let me go to a distant city on the Volga after finishing grade 9 – she was afraid that then I would not return home, I would stay there to live and work” .
Some time later, Tatyana Mikhailovna’s sensitive maternal heart helped her daughter to suggest the right path – to embark on a medical path and choose the profession of a dentist. Natalya did not argue, and today, already being a highly qualified specialist, she notes that her mother was right. Behind my interlocutor are years of study and rich practice, without which, as you know, there is nowhere in the business of healing.
“I am sincerely grateful to my mother for directing me to this particular area,” she admits.
Three years of study at the Ivanovo Pharmaceutical College in the specialty “Dentist” flew by like one day. Returning to her hometown, in the summer she replaced the dentist in pediatric dentistry.
“It was here that I clearly realized how interesting my profession is, which allows me to help people. But when I wanted to stay at the polyclinic for a permanent job, it turned out that all the vacancies were filled, but there was a catastrophic shortage of specialists with higher education,” – continues my interlocutor.
Faced with a difficult choice – to find a job of a different profile or to seek happiness in a foreign city in order to improve the skills of the mastered profession, Natalya Novozhilova (by that time she had already married and changed her maiden name) decided that without higher education it would be impossible to realize her full potential can, and entered the Samara State Medical University at the Faculty of Dentistry.
— Natalya, why did you choose Samara University, and what was it like to decide to leave your family for such a distance?
– The choice was made, of course, not by chance. After reviewing the reviews and recommendations, I really wanted to improve my skills here, in one of the leading educational institutions in the country with the best technical equipment and level of training. Since our profession involves only full-time education, my student life was extended for another five years. It was difficult to be away from loved ones and loved ones for so long, and to see each other only during short vacations. But my husband Alexander and my parents supported me, instilling confidence and hope that everything will certainly work out. It was especially difficult to continue studying when the eldest son Andrei was born. A month after his birth, I was forced to return to Samara, and my mother and husband took care of the baby. Of course, without them, I would not have achieved what I have now.
— When did you get the idea to open your own dental office?
— The decision matured in the second year of study at the university. The years of study were rich and exciting. We were especially lucky with the teachers, who invested in us all their knowledge and skills, managing to awaken an incredible interest in the chosen craft, the desire to comprehend all its subtleties and nuances. Well, having received a diploma of higher education, I felt confident in my abilities and realized that I really love my profession. Having set a goal for myself, I was able to achieve it with gradual steps, and a dental office “Dental Lux” appeared in our city.
— How did you take your first steps as a leader, who helped you?
— From the first day of opening the office, my colleague, a dentist-therapist with rich experience, and part-time friend of our family, Marina Nikolaevna Razvalova, has been helping me with advice and deeds in everything.
Husband Alexander is responsible for maintaining documentation and resolving issues related to the material and technical part. His specialty as an electronics maintenance engineer came in handy. In general, he always supports me in all endeavors, my reliable shoulder.
— Today, Dental Lux is the only private dental office in Vichuga offering surgical medical services to its patients. Not every specialist will undertake to remove a diseased tooth that cannot be treated. How is such, at first glance, a fragile woman like you, not afraid to take on this direction?
— Indeed, just a few years ago, while still in college, I could not even imagine that I could reach this level and become a surgeon. But, having mastered the higher school of dentistry, I realized that it was necessary to grow further: today time, the speed of development of medical technologies and pharmacology require this from us. I wanted to master related specializations, which are in great demand in our city and region, therefore, on the basis of the Institute for the Improvement of Doctors of the Chuvash Republic, I specialized in the profiles of surgical and therapeutic dentistry.
I am very grateful for the invaluable help in mastering the necessary skills during the surgical internship to the current doctor of the city dental clinic Roman Alexandrovich Patrakov. He is a true professional who taught me a lot. Now I am one hundred percent sure: in order to achieve a high level of knowledge and gain invaluable experience, it is important to never stop in your development.
As for fear, there is simply no place for it in our sphere of activity. The most important thing here is a competent execution technique.
– Please tell us how you spend your free time.
— Our family prefers outdoor activities. In winter – skates and snowboard, which son Andrey is fond of. In the summer we love cycling through our native expanses, we are engaged in gardening, we grow vegetables and fruits on the land. As a child, I was instilled with a love for physical culture, so now I try to find time to go to the gym, to fitness. We want to instill in our children the desire for an active lifestyle, versatile hobbies.
