I conducted an anonymous study among HR professionals and designers working in the largest and most famous companies in Russia. I can’t name the companies, but we use their services almost every day.
I will list the salaries for each level. Often the job titles are different, but the essence is the same. Different companies call this position differently: Product Designer , UI/UX Designer , UX Designer , Product Designer or simply Designer.
The title is not so important to us now, it depends on the maturity and culture of the company, but in fact, companies mean a similar set of responsibilities under these names, so let’s consider the salaries of all these positions.
Level 0 – Intern – trainee
Starting position. An employee without experience and knowledge or with minimal baggage. Salary from 0 to 40 thousand ₽
Level 1 – Junior – initial
An employee with theoretical knowledge, but no or little practical experience. Needs a mentor. Salary from 40 to 120 thousand ₽
Level 2 – Middle
An employee with good theoretical knowledge and good practical experience. Salary from 120 to 180 thousand rubles
Level 3 —Senior — senior
Employees with excellent theoretical knowledge, can train level 0-2 employees. Salary from 180 to 250 thousand ₽
Level 4 – Lead – Lead
This employee sometimes combines the Senior level, but also manages several designers, has the authority to hire and fire his employees. Salary from 250 to 300 thousand ₽
Level 5— Head/Director — director
This is the highest level, a director in his area (in our case, in design). Engaged in strategy, planning, finance, leadership of leading designers. Salary from 300 to 450 thousand rubles
Depending on the region and level of the company, these figures may vary slightly. In unknown companies and studios, of course, there are no such salaries. This applies either to large companies or cool startups where the founders were able to convince investors to invest millions of money. But unlike the latter, I still advise you to pay attention to stable, well-established well-known companies.

I conducted an anonymous study among HR professionals and designers working in the largest and most famous companies in Russia. I can’t name the companies, but we use their services almost every day.
I will list salaries for each level. Often the job titles are different, but the essence is the same. Different companies call this position differently: Product Designer , UI/UX Designer , UX Designer , Product Designer or simply Designer.
The title is not so important to us now, it depends on the maturity and culture of the company, but in fact, companies mean a similar set of responsibilities under these names, so let’s consider the salaries of all these positions.
Level 0 Intern
Starting position. An employee without experience and knowledge or with minimal baggage. Salary from 0 to 40 thousand ₽
Level 1 – Junior – initial
An employee with theoretical knowledge, but no or little practical experience. Needs a mentor. Salary from 40 to 120 thousand ₽
Level 2 — Middle — medium
An employee with good theoretical knowledge and good practical experience. Salary from 120 to 180 thousand ₽

FedEx has applied to the US Civil Aviation Administration for permission to install a laser anti-missile defense system on its cargo aircraft as an additional security measure. In a statement, the company is asking for permission to install and use anti-missile systems on its A321-200 cargo aircraft.
The carrier considers incidents when civilian aircraft were fired upon by MANPADS equipped with infrared homing missiles as the basis for the need for such a peculiar upgrade.
The principle of operation of heat-seeking missiles is extremely simple. They find the target by the heat coming from the jet engine, and automatically adjust their course to hit the target. Military aircraft are equipped with special “heat traps” that, when fired, create many decoys and help to evade the attacking projectile. For clumsy transport and civil aircraft with several engines under the wing, this method of protection against accidental or deliberate attack is not available. However, an alternative solution was developed a long time ago – a device that “shoots” a laser at an approaching missile, trying to disrupt its tracking system. Protective systems of this kind are planned to be installed on the company’s transport aircraft.
From the outside, the idea of equipping civilian aircraft with combat devices looks a little curious. Many people are already joking about crashes of UPS and DHL planes “for unclear reasons.” But still I would like to know what the future will bring us. Maybe a postal service van carrying “goodness and democracy” with flamethrowers, or a vending machine with a built-in self-destruct system when trying to break in?

First United Methodist Child Development Center is a 5 Star facility licensed by the state of North Carolina. We are an outreach ministry of the church, serving the children of working families in the uptowncommunity. Our Center provides a full day, developmentally appropriate program for children ages 6 weeks through entrance into kindergarten. Our staff are degreed and have the knowledge necessary to offer age appropriate activities and skills to the children in our care. Along with the academics, special activities are planned each week and are offered onsite. Spanish, gymnastics, music, computer training and chapel are all part of the weekly routine and are included in the tuition fee.

The McMartin case is the most costly and scandalous trial in US history

Virginia McMartin Kindergarten had the best reputation in South Bay County. It was so difficult to get into it that parents stood in line for a place even before the birth of a child. Over the thirty years of the institution’s existence, its founder Virginia McMartin and her daughter Peggy Bucky have received a lot of commendations and awards from local authorities. They knew the most influential people in the community, because all the children from wealthy families went to McMartin kindergarten.
But one fine day (and all days are beautiful in California) there was a small incident. Local resident Judy Johnson came to the kindergarten without any warning with her two-year-old son Matthew. She didn’t want to hear about any waiting list. “Where will you order me to put the child?” she was indignant and won the argument with the teachers, simply leaving her son on the playground and declaring that she would come for him in the evening.
Mrs. Johnson’s behavior left an unpleasant aftertaste, but in the end it was still decided to make an exception and accept Matthew into the nursery group. The kindergarten workers will regret this concession until the end of their days.
Suspicion
Judy Johnson had enough problems: she lived separately from her husband and barely made ends meet. And then Matthew took to the fashion to be capricious when they sat him on the potty, and complain that he was in pain. On August 11, 1983, Judy picked up her son from kindergarten, examined his butt and decided that it was suspiciously red. Of all the possible explanations, Judy chose the most monstrous: her son was abused. It didn’t take long to find the culprit: there was only one male teacher in McMartin.
Ray Bucky was 25 years old, but he still couldn’t find himself. After dropping out of three colleges, he returned to his home and began working in a kindergarten owned by his grandmother and mother. The job seemed easy, Ray loved the kids, and the kids loved him. Many mothers who raised a child without a father even liked that in kindergarten their children received at least some male influence. And for the most anxious parents, the outlandishness of the “mustached nanny” was smoothed out by the fact that Ray still worked in the family business.
To all Judy’s questions about whether his uncle-teacher did anything to him, Matthew answered in the negative. The mother was not relieved. Continuing to wind herself up and extort at least something from the child, she somehow became convinced that Ray tied up Matthew, undressed and photographed. With this information, Judy went to the police. Matthew himself, at the age of two, could not tell the police anything, but his mother did it for him, adding that not only her son, but also other children suffered at the hands of Ray.
The police sent Judy to the Children’s International Institute (ICI) at the University of California. There, Matthew’s reddened ass was examined by an intern who had neither knowledge of such injuries nor work experience. Nevertheless, she supported the worried mother’s version, concluding that such redness could indeed indicate violence. And hell broke loose for McMartin employees.
Prosecution
The police started calling the parents asking the children if the caregiver touched them where they shouldn’t. Although not a single child could remember anything reprehensible, the police came to search the McMartins. The search yielded no results.
Ray was arrested but released on bail the same day. The police did not disclose who reported on him, and during the first days of the investigation, Ray believed that all the fuss broke out because of the girl who once grabbed his groin, and he pulled her hand away (later it turned out that the girl’s father allowed her to indulge like that at home). It was the only explanation that came to his mind. No one at McMartin knew that Matthew was the “victim”. Surprisingly, for the next three weeks, his mother, as if nothing had happened, took her son to the lair of what she considered a gang of rapists.
Judy continued to goad the police, social workers, and parents against Ray. Moreover, now the charges were added that the educator in front of her son beheaded the child. No matter how absurd her statements seemed, they could not be ignored. There is no smoke without fire, and it was about crimes against children.
Day after day, the police questioned Ray’s neighbors. Nobody could say anything bad about him. What if you think about it? Well, if you think about it… Sometimes he stared at the girls in a strange way, and sometimes, on the contrary, he stared too aloofly into the void. Disturbing behavior… Someone remembered seeing Ray once in shorts but no underwear. The pervert sat in such a way that, if desired, one could see his entire anatomy in the trouser leg. And if he is still sitting in the kindergarten, huh?!
On September 7, the police raided the garden, arrested Ray a second time, and released him again due to lack of evidence. The case was stalling, a breakthrough was needed, and the police sent a letter to two hundred families asking for help in the investigation. The letter detailed everything that Ray could have been involved in: “…oral sex, caresses of the genitals, buttocks or breasts, sodomy (perhaps under the guise of taking a temperature). In addition, photographs of naked children may have been taken. Any information from your children regarding Ray Bucky taking the baby out during nap time, or Ray Bucky tying up the baby is important.”
Panic gripped South Bay. After the letter, the question of whether Ray was guilty was not even raised. Educators began to receive threatening calls. They tried to burn down the McMartin building. The fire was extinguished, but on the walls of the deserted kindergarten there were inscriptions: “This is only the beginning” and “Ray must die.” At meetings in churches, pastors spoke of satanic cults that sacrificed babies.
The children continued to persist, denying any depraved actions on Ray’s part. The answer “no” did not satisfy either the worried parents or the police, who were urged on by the district attorney Robert Filibosyan. Preoccupied with re-election, he saw in the case a chance to get ahead in the election race.
Key MacFarlane; Wayne Sats
Parents were urged to contact the International Children’s Institute. Key MacFarlane, a good friend of Filibosyan’s deputy, was the head of the sexual assault diagnostic unit at MDI.
By the spring of 1984, McFarlane and two of her assistants had interviewed almost four hundred children who visited McMartin. The examination said: almost all of them – three hundred and sixty – were victims of violence.
Readings
McFarlane, like some psychologists of the late 70s, was of the opinion that the absence of clear evidence cannot indicate that there was no violence. What matters is not what the child says, but how he behaves.
Dreaming of writing a book about victims of sexual abuse, and for the first time with so much data to work with, McFarlane used a method of talking to children, which used glove puppets and “anatomically correct” dolls – with genitals, pubic hair and other sexual characteristics. It was assumed that with the help of such figures, the child can show what he does not yet have enough words for.
In practice, however, it was not the dolls that helped MacFarlane get the desired responses from the children, but the chosen tactics. The necessary confessions were not simply pulled out of the child, but were often prompted to him. When one girl stubbornly refused to admit that Ray pulled up her dress, McFarlane showed how it was done on a doll. This didn’t work either. Then McFarlane said that she already knew about the girl’s “secrets” from other children, after which she depicted the process of oral sex on dolls, forcing the girl to say that it was “fu, fuck.” When asked who saw such a “fu-byaka” in the kindergarten, the girl named the sixty-year-old Peggy Bucky, the director of the kindergarten and Ray’s mother. McFarlane interpreted this murky testimony as clear evidence of molestation.
If a child resisted, McFarlane explained it as a psychological trauma from violence, which obviously happened, but the child is not yet ready to admit it. Believing that she was fighting on the side of good, McFarlane did not hesitate to lie to the children, as if their friends had already told everything. She made it clear that only smart children can remember well, but if you have nothing to tell, then you are probably stupid. But you’re not stupid, are you? And the children started talking. The folders of the criminal case grew by leaps and bounds.

After the meetings with MacFarlane, the children were sent to therapy, where they tried to extract repressed memories from them. There was still ten years left before the scientific debunking of the myth that a person can supposedly completely forget a traumatic episode, but actually restore it with the help of hypnosis and conversations. It is now known to psychologists that such procedures are, at best, ineffective, and at worst, lead to paramnesia, that is, the emergence of false memories. But in the mid-80s, such therapy was at the peak of popularity.
That the children’s stories were illogical, absurd, and completely out of line with the information the police had was irrelevant. One boy reported a “secret room” and hatches in the garden floor that led to tunnels. Another told how the tutors took him to the cemetery, dug up the coffin and sawed up the corpse.
The testimonies also mentioned a house with live lions, a horse killed with a baseball bat right in the group, and airplane travel. Several children told incomprehensible stories about Ray, although they went to kindergarten in those years when the main suspect in the case did not work there and lived in another city. The general opinion of adults was this: it was impossible to invent such a thing. At the parents’ pickets, the most popular posters were “We believe in children!”.
Almost no meeting was complete without the participation of Judy Johnson, who started all this mess. Her angry philippics were replenished each time with fresh accusations and new names of the criminals. Here are just some of her statements:
✔ Matthew’s ears and nipples were pierced with a stapler; ✔ Matthew was stripped and made to ride naked on a horse along the beach; ✔ Ray’s mother forced Matthew to perform oral sex on her; ✔ educators dressed up as witches, and during acts of violence, Ray wore costumes of a priest, a clown, Santa Claus and Satan; ✔ Matthew was placed in a coffin and buried; ✔ Ray killed and tortured animals in front of children; ✔ one day Matthew was put on a plane, brought to a pasture and forced to put his finger in a goat’s anus; ✔ Ray’s mother drilled Matthew under the armpits during the ritual; ✔ Matthew was forced to drink the blood of a freshly killed baby; ✔ children were rented out to perverts for comfort.
Judy was the mouthpiece for her parents. They listened to her, agreed with her, sympathized with her. No one suspected that she was unwell.

Hysteria
The hot topic was taken up with enthusiasm by TV and the press. The most prominent was Wayne Sats, a reporter for the Los Angeles chapter of ABC. The channel released one exclusive after another. No one could understand how Satsu could do it. Only later did it come out that he had a love affair with MacFarlane, who shared with him the fattest cream of the children’s testimony.
Meanwhile, the excited public moved from threats to actions. The workers of the ill-fated kindergarten began to be attacked. Peggy Bucky was stabbed on the street. Even those rare parents who expressed doubts about the accusations were intimidated with reprisals.
After the police announced that the investigation did not exclude the “trafficking” of children, seven more kindergartens were closed in the district, which were suspected of belonging to an underground network of pedophiles.
In April 1984, the entire kindergarten staff—Ray Bucky, his mother, sister, grandmother, and three teachers (two of them in their fifties)—were taken into custody. At first they were charged with 150 counts, but the district attorney brought that number up to 208. Only eighty-year-old Virginia McMartin was allowed bail. However, the accused did not have money for bail, all the savings went to lawyers. One of the longest preliminary hearings in the history of legal proceedings began, lasting 19months.

By the end of 1984, Judy Johnson was completely out of touch with the real world. She accused her long-departed husband of molesting her son, in addition, she told the police that someone had raped their dog, and now he was chasing her too. After that, she barricaded herself in the house. Coming out after a forced hospitalization with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, Judy went on an alcoholic spree and disappeared from the public eye. But the chain reaction she had launched was unstoppable. Mass hysteria entered a self-sustaining phase.
The defendants were not convicted, but everyone treated them like criminals. It seemed that the verdict was only a matter of time. The poll showed that 97.5% of South Bay residents believe McMartin’s staff were at fault.
Jury found the defendants not guilty
McFarlane stated that the heinous atrocities that took place in the kindergarten would not have been possible without the support of powerful people. Filibosyan’s assistant mentioned that he was talking about millions of pornographic images. The fact that neither the police nor the FBI were able to obtain a single piece of physical evidence was of little embarrassment to anyone. And so it was clear: the pedophile conspiracy of educators entangled all of America.
Everyone suspected everyone. Worried parents drove their children through the streets in the hope that they would recognize the places where Ray and his accomplices mocked them. The police searched twenty-one houses, seven offices, three churches, two airports and a farm in vain. By 1985, children who had been tormented by psychologists for two years began to include in their stories not only McMartin employees, but also neighbors and everyone they knew.

Kindergartens in America became widespread only in the late 70s. More and more women gave up the role of housewives and went to work. It was the concern for the children who had to be given under the care of strangers that created fertile ground for mass fear.
1984 to 19In 1994, ten more McMartin-like cases thundered in America. This period of persecution of private daycare workers has entered the cultural annals under the resounding title of Satanic Panic, as “Satanic rituals” were often mentioned in the allegations. It was not until much later that children, separated by thousands of miles, were seen repeating roughly the same stories. The stories they heard every day from TV, radio, and preachers stands.
Trial
By the end of the preliminary hearing, the prosecutors felt less confident. The evidence was still missing. There are no tunnels under the garden, no traces that such a large animal as a horse was sacrificed on its territory, not even a scrap of a pornographic picture. And still had to hide from the defense of the mental state of Judy Johnson. The letter, in which she confessed that she could not tell fantasy from reality, was flagged as a document that should not be sent to the defense team.

For lack of evidence, the prosecutor agreed to drop charges against five suspects, leaving only Ray and Peggy Bucky in the dock. There was nothing on them either, but letting everyone go would mean that the taxpayers’ money was wasted for two years. When the lawyers became aware of Judy’s diagnosis and her letters (in one she wrote that Ray was levitating with her son in his arms), the prosecution panicked. Cross-examination of an unreliable witness would inevitably shake the jury. But by the time when on July 19On the 87th, the trial finally began, Judy was dead – alcohol poisoning.
Throughout the process, the bias of the judge was evident. Under the pretext of saving time, he did not give the floor to defense witnesses and for a long time did not even allow Ray’s lawyers to gain access to the video recordings of Key MacFarlane’s conversations with children.
McFarlane was the main trump card of the accusers. It was not until August 1988 that she got in line to stand at the witness stand. The defense asked to pay attention to the fact that McFarlane, although he calls himself a psychotherapist, does not have a professional license for this work. Also, she could not explain who and when taught her the “puppet” method of questioning children.
McFarlane stood her ground, considering all the absurdities in the children’s testimonies as symptoms of psychological trauma. For example, this is how she interpreted the case in court when, when asked to select photos with his rapists, a child pointed to pictures of Chuck Norris, the city prosecutor and four nuns.
Professor of Psychiatry Michael Maloney, summoned by the defense, did not leave a stone unturned from the video recordings of conversations with children made at MDI, listing gross violations in several court hearings. At the same time, copies of all the records were not provided to the lawyers, but even an insignificant part of them was enough to reveal the incompetence of MacFarlane and her assistants.
Verdict
The jury complained about being fired from their jobs, but the process dragged on and on. Two years and four months later, in January 1990, when the costs of the McMartin case had already exceeded $15 million, the prosecution and defense finished presenting their versions.
Peggy was fully acquitted on all counts, Ray partially. This meant a retrial. The second trial began in May and ended in July. The jury did not reach a unanimous decision, but the prosecutor’s office, which had long lost its former ardor, waved its hand and dropped the remaining charges.
None of the McMartin workers who were crushed by the millstones of justice received compensation. All applications were rejected. The move was given only to a class-action lawsuit for libel against one of the parents. The case was won, but according to the decision of the judge, the amount of the payment was only one symbolic dollar.

The 1995 HBO film Indictment: The McMartins Trial won a handful of prestigious awards. Ray Bucky changed his name, trained as a lawyer, and currently lives with his wife and child in one of the Northwestern states. His sister is still a teacher.
Currently, only one person convicted during the Satanic Panic years remains in prison. All the rest were acquitted, and some even received monetary compensation. True, many of them had to spend a significant part of their lives behind bars.
In 2005, Kyle Zirpolo, one of the child prosecutors in the case, told the Los Angeles Times that in 1984, when he was eight years old, he made up stories about the McMartins because he was praised for them and felt special. “Although I never met Ray Bucky, I told him that he was taking me somewhere on a plane. I tried to come up with something very bad. I once said that when someone in the kindergarten got a scratch, the teachers, instead of sticking a band-aid, smeared the wound with dirt. My memories were never false, I always knew that I was lying. But I thought I was helping the rest of the kids this way.”

I came across this book in a bright cover quite by accident in one of the stores in our city. From the title it became clear that the book is about the game and I bought it. I couldn’t put it down until I got to the last point. The book almost entirely consists of observations by the author, Virginia, in the course of working with the “problem” child Dibs, and their recorded dialogues. The book is very smart, elegant, written by a man – a great specialist in play therapy. I understand that some of you will say – where is the therapist, and where is the kindergarten teacher. And you will be wrong. After all, at my work, almost from morning to evening, I, and my colleagues, will observe the children’s Game. That’s right, with a capital letter, with respect, and great interest. And the more I watch her, the more “blank spots” , questions that are not easy to answer, if at all possible to do and this answer exists.
The first chapter in the book is called extraordinarily wonderful – “Some children are like this” . Not any specific ones, i.e. already with a ready-made label on the chest ( “backward, sick, spoiled” ) , but just like that. It sounds so easy and insanely difficult to accept this idea and treat people like that no matter how old they are – 3 or 93, in general to everyone.
I was struck by the genuine love and respect with which the author describes his meeting with this boy: “…There was something in this child that attracted them and aroused genuine interest. I felt the impact of his personality. I saw how they [caregivers] sympathize with this child. For me, it suddenly became obvious the limitations of our capabilities in describing individuality, which does not fit into familiar and short phrases. I appreciated the respectful attitude towards this child, which permeated the entire meeting . .. “ . It is difficult to learn nonjudgment from a book, but it is possible to take the first step. What is nonjudgmental perception?
This is when a person does not analyze and compare what he has seen. How do we always do? Everything that a person sees, he comments with an inner voice: I see a vase, it’s beautiful, I would like one like this, a child is crying, someone probably offended, etc. I.T.
Nonjudgmental perception is when a person simply perceives reality. Its main advantage is that reality is perceived as vividly and voluminously as possible. Of course, it is not always possible to live from such a state, but I believe that every time we are just approaching interaction with a child, we should remember him. It is this state “other person’s invaluability” should become our original ideal.
“…Perhaps this will make it easier to understand that, even without having enough knowledge to explain the actions of other people, we can accept that each individual has his own inner world, cognizable only in its integrity and through respect for the dignity of the individual… We only know that our impressions are short-lived and changeable. Therefore, we value objectivity, calmness, consistency. We know that research is a fascinating combination of our suspicions, reflections, subjective assessments, hopes and dreams, mixed in exact proportion with objectively collected data, which are based on mathematical sciences. One without the other will be incomplete. But together they are slowly but surely moving along the road in search of truth, trying to find it, wherever it may be…” .
This little Virginia patient made a huge impression on me. His indefatigable desire to explore the world in his own way was perceived by his parents as “stupidity” , the desire to listen and hear, and not to speak as “aggression” , the desire to observe everything for “underdevelopment” . It is always adults with their constant “can’t cope” , “no need” , “put it back” , “don’t touch it” – only we limit the development of children. This must be constantly remembered, and before forbidding something, ask why he needs it. After all, maybe this book is part of a spaceship, and the cup is a house for a hamster, and the spoon is an oar. I especially remember the phrase of Dibs: “- There is such a pretense when you pretend correctly. And the other is a stupid antics, – he got up and walked over to me. Sometimes they are mixed so much that it’s hard to tell which is which.0161 .
In the book, the author describes the principles that guide the therapist in all play sessions. But absolutely all these principles, one way or another, are applicable in the activities of the educator.
So he must:
build smooth, warm, friendly relations with the child
accept the child as he is
establish an atmosphere of permission in the relationship so that the child feels free to fully express any feelings
the therapist must be prepared to recognize the feelings expressed by the child
reflect the child’s feelings so that he can gain understanding about his behavior
The therapist has a deep respect for the right and ability of the child in providing opportunities for the child to solve his own problems
the therapist does not attempt to direct the child’s actions or dialogue, the child sets the direction and the therapist follows
therapist does not try to spur therapy
The therapist imposes only those restrictions that are necessary for the child to realize the reality of what is happening and his part of the responsibility for the relationship.

Time is not on your side here. You’ll have 60 minutes to solve your task, which will seem like a refreshing summer nap at first. As the final minutes approach, it’ll feel like a tornado came to life as a feral cat who just downed 13 espressos. Advice? Stay cool, but know you’ve got to keep solving.

The Vault
Your group enters the lobby of Safe Holdings Bank, but some of your friends are being held hostage in the bank’s vault! It’s up to you to get them out, but they will help, too. They’ve got a lot to solve and both groups need to work together in unique ways to free the hostages.
After you free the hostages (usually half-way through), your entire group will work together to achieve the final task – it’s heart-pumping excitement!
This escape room can work with a minimum of 4 people, but the optimum group size is between 6 – 10.

unbelievable place!!! very challenging room. it was great. just when you think you won another thing opened up. very clean, staff wore masks, made you use hand sanitizer before you went in. they were extremely accommodating to our team and parents. job well done locked in at the lake owner and staff!!!

We took four kids to enjoy the kids escape room, I was nervous they wouldn’t stay on task or get overwhelmed. I was totally wrong, the staff kept the kids engaged with subtle little hints throughout the experience. When they made it out, the kids we’re full of excitement. The dads did one of the adult rooms while the moms laughed and enjoyed watching the kids from the viewing room. After dinner the parents decided we wanted to go back and enjoy the second adult room. Both rooms were a complete blast and very engaging. Great owners, and very custom craftsmanship in the rooms. Thanks for letting us spend the evening with you guys.

It is important for a fisherman to understand that the more successful the spawning is, the more fish will be in the reservoirs in the future. Spawning ban 2023: general provisions
A general ban on fishing in the territory of the Russian Federation is usually valid from April 20 to June 20, however, the Federal Agency for Fishery may change these dates.
Each region has its own rules and deadlines – they are prescribed in detail in the fishing rules for eight fishery basins in Russia. A spawning ban in a particular subject of the Russian Federation depends on the characteristics of the fish, the temperature regime and the type of reservoir.
In most regions, even during the spawning ban, you can fish with one bottom or float rod, and in some regions spinning is also allowed. in fish – by measuring the length from the top of the snout (with the mouth closed) to the base of the middle rays of the caudal fin.

Harvested (caught) aquatic biological resources with a length less than indicated in the table are subject to immediate release into the natural habitat with the least damage.

The Creative Curriculum for Preschool® focuses on the total child, bringing together learning in social emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development. It includes phonological awareness, phonics, math, science, creative arts, and music, with endless opportunities for choice, problem solving, and creativity. Spring is the perfect time to visit Atlanta with its pleasant temperatures and cool breezes. Atlanta can get stuffy in the summer. But if you can handle the heat and humidity, late May – August is a great time to enjoy some of Atlanta’s best concerts and outdoor activities.

Atlanta Attractions
Home and birthplace of the famous Martin Luther King Jr., Atlanta is all about history and culture. Visitors don’t have to look for the fascinating stories of the American South and some of the United States’ finest cultural exhibits, such as the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra.
History buffs will appreciate the countless museums this city has to offer. From the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and Atlanta History Center to the Atlanta Cyclorama, the Civil War Museum and the Carter Center.
A trip to the world of Coca-Cola is a must for fans of the world’s most famous brand, while kids of all ages will love the Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta Zoo. Stroll through the Botanical Gardens or marvel at the magnificent works of art at the Higher Art Museum. The choices in Atlanta are endless!
Historic Center
Explore 13 hectares of beautiful gardens, award-winning exhibits and interactive events in the historic center of Atlanta.
The main attractions are two historic houses open to the public offering educational tours. Tully Smith’s house was originally located outside the city, but was moved to the Historic Center. The house was built in the 1840s and survived the near destruction of Atlanta in 1864, when General William Sherman burned nearly two-thirds of the city during his infamous “March to the Sea.”
The Swan House, built in 1928, is an Atlanta landmark Italian mansion that was once the home of Edward and Emily Inman, heirs to a cotton brokerage fortune. The historic center also has several other historical buildings and exhibitions.
Natural History Museum
As one of the preeminent museums in the South, the Natural History Museum is a gateway to discovery and exploration. It tells the story of earthly life, the physical universe, the environment, and human culture through exhibitions, programs, and films in the IMAX theater. Opened in 1992, Fernbank is the “Home of the Dinosaurs of Atlanta”, a reputation highlighted by the giants of the Mesozoic period, with a unique permanent exhibition featuring the world’s largest dinosaurs.
Baptist Church
Ebenezer Baptist Church, although small, has played a large role in American history. Founded in 1886, the church was the epicenter of the civil rights movement in the 1960s. Martin Luther King Jr. served as one of the pastors from 1960 to 1968 and during that time worked to ensure equal rights for African Americans.
The church has a new building across the street, but visitors can still explore the old sanctuary where King preached before walking around Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
The annual Martin Luther King Jr. events usually draw large crowds in January. Former speakers have included US presidents, national and local politicians, and civil rights leaders. The remembrance is also held during Black History Month and the anniversary of King’s assassination on April 4, 1968.
Kennesaw
Mount Kennesaw was the site of a bloody battle in the Civil War, where in 1864 General Sherman led his Union forces against entrenched Confederate forces. This resulted in the death of over 67,000 soldiers.
Currently, the park consists of several thousand acres of protected land, covered by more than 27 km of walking trails. The trails contain historic earthworks and cannon and memorial sites that were erected to commemorate the event.
A small museum on the site displays civil war artifacts and the visitor center provides information about the battle. This popular park is visited by more than a million people every year, many of whom come for a picnic and enjoy the views of the mountain above Atlanta.
Museum of Art
Located deep within the city’s art district, the Atlanta High Art Museum houses more than 15,000 items from its permanent collection. This includes 19th and 20th century American art, important and visiting European collections, as well as contemporary art, photography, and African art. The museum has an impressive collection of civil rights photographs.
National Historic Site
Travel to the Victorian home where Martin Luther King Jr. was born in 1929. Here, visitors can see where the American Nobel Prize winner for civil rights grew up and where the movement began.
The half-mile stretch of Auburn Avenue, including King’s birthplace, Ebenezer Baptist Church where he preached, and the memorial tomb at King’s Center where he is buried, has become a historic site that draws hundreds of visitors every day. The exhibits it contains give an insight into the life and times of this respected man.
Guided tours run every 30 minutes on a first-come, first-served basis.
Currency Museum
Although it doesn’t look like much of a tourist attraction, visiting the Federal Reserve Bank’s Coin Museum is surprisingly entertaining.
Highlights of the tour include an extensive “History of Money” exhibit showcasing obsolete currencies from around the world and interactive multimedia displays that teach you how to spot counterfeit money. A tourist can try to pick up a $450,000 gold bar, create their own currency, and bring along a free bag of crushed money to take home as a souvenir.
Whether it’s part of a guided group tour or simply seeing the exhibits on your own, a visit to the Federal Reserve Bank should instill in visitors a new understanding of the rich history that informs America’s modern use of money.
Fox Theater
The Atlanta Fox Theatre, also known as the Fabulous Fox, are theaters built in the United States in the 1920s. The theater’s unique beginnings and Moorish design set it apart from other theaters of the period. Today, it hosts a range of artistic and cultural events, including summer movie series, the Atlanta ballet, and national touring companies on Broadway shows.
Jonesboro
About 24 miles south of Atlanta in Clayton County, Jonesboro is a city not to be missed for movie buffs or those who crave a taste of the real Deep South.
Jonesboro was the setting for Margaret Mitchell’s famous novel and later film Gone with the Wind. Devotees come to see local historic plantation houses and learn about the real people whose lives inspired the novel’s fictional characters. On Main Street, the Road to Tara Museum is located in the Jonesboro Depot Reception Center, home to original props, costume reproductions, puppet collections, and an extensive photo gallery associated with the making of the film.
The Welcome Depot is also the starting point for daily tours starting at 13:00 except Sundays. The tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at the real life stories on which the book was based.
Stone Mountain
Stone Mountain is located approximately 20 minutes from Atlanta and has man-made and natural attractions. The best of these is a huge relief carving of three southern civil war heroes that was engraved into the mountainside.
Images of Confederate President Jefferson Davis, Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas Jackson cover an area larger than a football field and are part of the largest relief sculpture in the world.
Three sculptors worked in succession on the carvings, beginning with Gutzon Borglum in 1915. He later became famous for his carvings on Mount Rushmore. Subsequently, two other artists continued the work, which was finally completed in 1972. Visitors can either hike up the mountain or take the lift to the top for breathtaking views of Atlanta and the Appalachians.
Stone Mountain also has a restored Antebellum plantation with a colonial mansion, slave houses, carriage houses and sheds. The park has several lakes and hiking trails, as well as a nature reserve and a zoo.
Attractions for Children
One of the most interesting cities in the United States, Atlanta is a great place for children to relax and have fun. Immersed in a rich cultural and political history, kids can learn and discover a lot while having a great time sightseeing.
Grab a picnic basket and a blanket and head to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for a sunny day and fresh air. For a more active day, take the kids to Six Flags Over Georgia Theme Park, where there are plenty of thrills to enjoy while enjoying the rides on offer.
The Science Center is a must for all curious minds, with great outdoor trails to enjoy walking. Stone Mountain Park is also a must-see place where families can hike mountain trails and enjoy a laser light show in the evening.
On quieter days visitors can visit museums. Atlanta Children’s Museum where kids can crawl, draw and enjoy all the interesting exhibits. Most malls in Atlanta have indoor playgrounds, but one of the favorite places has to be the HippoHopp indoor playground, where kids will have fun jumping, climbing and playing on inflatable equipment.
Georgia Aquarium
The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in America with over 100,000 animals from 500 species. Creatures from all over the world are featured here, from whale sharks and manta rays, to sea lions and sea otters, penguins, sharks and a riot of colorful fish.
The Aquarium also has a cinema with a 3-D animated film, a café and an Ocean Ballroom for special events.
A popular attraction is the Dolphin Tales show, which features choreographed musical performances of dolphin stars.
Children’s Museum
The Atlanta Children’s Museum provides hours of learning and entertainment. Aimed at children under the age of nine, the museum features engaging interactive exhibits such as the Curious George Gallery.
Children also get the opportunity to paint the walls, crawl on the playground or even put on a raincoat and play in the forest river.
Botanical Garden
Be sure to visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden while in town. In particular, the Fukua Conservatory, a giant greenhouse with various climate-controlled ecosystems, is worth a visit.
A walk through the conservatory takes visitors out of the desert and into the full tropical jungle. The outdoor gardens are intertwined with nature walks, bypassing many quiet spots meant for quiet contemplation. The garden constantly displays numerous sculptures and works of art, and regularly hosts art exhibitions.
Zoo
The Atlanta Zoo has approximately 1,000 animals representing 250 species from around the world and is visited by over 1 million tourists annually. Founded in 1889, the zoo has become one of Atlanta’s top family attractions. It houses exhibitions about the African rainforests, an aviary with free-flying parrots and a house for reptiles.
Kids will love discovering all kinds of animals, including rare giant pandas, Sumatran tigers, clouded leopards and Komodo dragons. The zoo also houses the country’s largest collection of gorillas and orangutans.
The World of Coca-Cola
In 1886, a small pharmacy in Atlanta began selling a new tonic for headaches and hangovers called Coca-Cola. In 1891, entrepreneur Asa Candler paid $2,300 to acquire the rights to what is now the most valuable brand in the world. The following year, he founded the Coca-Cola Company.
The new, environmentally friendly building houses more than just a Coca-Cola museum.
Thousands of Coke objects, trivia and memorabilia are stored among interactive exhibits backed up by commercials, radio jingles, 4-D cinema, tasting and pop culture gallery.
Traditions
When it comes to describing the national characteristics of the inhabitants of Atlanta, one cannot simply ignore their unusual craving for various holidays and celebrations, many of which are associated with ancient traditions.
The annual Powwow Festival held in Stone Mountain Park on the first weekend in November is a really interesting celebration. On this day, everyone can become a real Indian – visitors can dress in old costumes and try their hand at traditional crafts.
Powwow can literally be translated as “spiritual leader”. That is how the Indians of North America called their congregations. Previously, such meetings were aimed at solving the most important issues. Nowadays, the Indians use them just to have fun and compete in the art of dance and other skills.
Numerous festive events take place in the city on Christmas Eve. At this time of the year, Atlanta is always full of travelers. The streets of the city are decorated with sparkling garlands, balloons and beautiful figurines depicting Christmas characters. On the eve of the holiday, you can witness a grandiose parade, various concerts and fireworks. Children especially like this holiday, as many fun games and performances are organized for young visitors.
Atlanta Restaurants
Atlanta restaurants are a sensory blast where diners who love flavor and variety will not be disappointed. Atlanta is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the United States and the third largest city in the country. The restaurant serves its sophisticated customers.
Atlanta food ranges from traditional Southern fare such as fried chicken, shrimp, fish and okra to legendary peaches, pecans, peanuts and onions. Be sure to try some peach casserole and a slice of pecan pie.
Head to Buckhead for trendy eateries and good homemade food, while Decatur, Midtown and Virginia Highland are no match for international cuisine. Most of Atlanta’s finest restaurants require a reservation, and it’s customary for waiters to tip around 15%, while tips of up to 20% are the norm in high-end restaurants.
Atlanta at night
Explore some of the best Atlanta nightlife in this luxurious city. Buckhead is a good place to start. The area has a festive night scene with a number of nightclubs, dance clubs and pubs.
But most places close at 3 am. There are several chic lounges and cocktail bars in the city center, especially in the bigger hotels. Virginia Highlands in particular welcomes young professionals to stylish clubs.
Small venues scattered throughout the city are ideal for southern baritone blues. Others prefer one of the four huge venues that are part of the US tour of any major band. Of course, there are many clubs in Atlanta hip-hop with rising and returning stars.
Shopping
Shopping in Atlanta is more of an activity than a pastime, and Atlanta’s malls, boutiques and markets are more than enough to satisfy the needs of every shopaholic.
Head to the Buckhead area for a first class shopping experience or to discover the trendiest boutiques. Some of Atlanta’s best shopping can be found in Lenox Square and has nearly 250 specialty stores and plenty of restaurants for weary shoppers to take a break.

Most stores in Atlanta are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00 and Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00. Sales tax varies by city and state in the US and ranges from 4 to 15 percent. This is added to the price of the item at the point of purchase.
Atlanta does not have a tax refund system for visitors from overseas, but large and expensive purchases are often tax exempt if shipped outside of the state in which they were purchased.
Atlanta Airport
Atlanta International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the US, handles 100 million passengers annually on thousands of domestic and international flights.
The huge airport consists of two terminals connected by an atrium with numerous services, shops, restaurants and a food court. For beginners, it can be difficult to navigate, however, friendly staff are always on hand to help, and several motorized footpaths help speed up the long journey between the gates.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located 11 kilometers south of downtown Atlanta and is the main airport for Georgia and also serves as a transit hub for many international flights and various US destinations.
City Transportation
Atlanta trains and buses reach most areas of the city, but they are not always the most convenient way to travel, and services are limited outside of the city.
The MARTA network is inexpensive, secure and well integrated, but travel can be slow. A one-way MARTA pass, which is suitable for travel anywhere in the system, costs about $2.50. There are weekly, weekend and visitor passes at various rates.
Atlanta is a car-dominated city, so there are plenty of parking spaces, especially in tourist areas. But traffic on freeways and in the city center can be very busy, especially during rush hours.
During conventions and major sports and entertainment events, it is easier to travel by public transport.
Taxis are available, but ordering by phone is easier than catching them on the street. they can also be found at taxi ranks around the city. Visitors should be wary of unlicensed taxis, and women traveling alone at night should order taxis by phone.
Weather in Atlanta
Atlanta has four distinct seasons and a humid subtropical climate. Winters are cold with temperatures below freezing most of the time, but daytime weather is mild enough to walk around the city, with occasional snowfall.
Summers can be hot and humid with periods of intense heat. In mid-summer, the average temperature is 31 C, and in the middle of winter, the average temperature is 0 C. Atlanta receives heavy rainfall, which is evenly distributed throughout the year.
Travel Tips
The best way to take a trip to the outlying areas or ethnic areas of the city is with a large group or on an excursion with a group of tourists. Do not take large amounts of money with you and do not wear jewelry for such an excursion.
Travelers must not use illegal taxis. Inexperienced travelers can easily become victims of scammers and thieves.
You must not appear on the streets of the city in a state of intoxication. This will lead to confusion among local residents and may result in heavy fines.
If your documents, credit cards and other personal items are lost or stolen, you should immediately contact the nearest police station. The city has a special police station for tourists. Their phone numbers and addresses can be found in any phone book.
Travelers looking to rent a car and explore the city on their own need to remember a few very simple rules. In no case should they collect fellow travelers and stop on the way without any serious need. You must keep driving even if there is a minor accident on the road.
The system of cashless accounting in the city is very well developed. You can pay with a credit card at all malls, supermarkets, cinemas and restaurants, so you don’t have to carry large sums of money.
If you plan to use cash for your payments, it’s best not to use large denominations ($50 and $100). Small shops and cafes, as a rule, are not equipped with a system for checking the authenticity of banknotes, so the client’s money may simply not be accepted. The reason for this is that high denomination banknotes are often counterfeited.
Various uprisings and campaigns often take place in the city. Tourists can also participate in some of them, such as campaigns for the protection of animals or the fight against smoking.
If pickets are organized on political or racial issues, visitors must not interfere.
First-time visitors are advised to purchase a map showing the main public transport routes. City planning is quite inconvenient, so it can be quite difficult to find a specific museum or shop without a map.

Q&A with Ms. Thuy
What inspires you to care for young children?
It’s so amazing to watch kids flourish! At this age, they’re learning and changing so quickly, and it’s thrilling to figure out what each individual needs. It’s different every time. What works for one child may not be helpful to another, and that’s what keeps every day so engaging. Seeing the kids develop, both socially and emotionally, is always exciting. There are so many small moments like that: when two friends meet for the first time or when a child draws something they’re really proud of, for example. Those moments make this job so special. Taking care of children has been a lifelong passion; over the years, I’ve had the joy of mentoring so many wonderful kids and watching them grow into incredible, unique adults. It’s so heartening to think that I had a small part in their journey.
What’s a typical day like at your daycare?
At this daycare, we will be speaking mostly in Vietnamese. This will be particularly beneficial for children who have recently immigrated to the United States, or who speak Vietnamese at home with their families. (It would also be great for kids who are really interested in learning Vietnamese; immersion is such an effective teaching method when it comes to language!) This shared language will hopefully make their transition into daycare a little bit easier. My goal is to make the kids in my program feel as comfortable as possible, so they can thrive in a safe and understanding community and prepare the skills they’ll need for kindergarten. Our days will be full of fun activities, like arts and crafts and free play. We’re right next door to the local park, which means we spend a lot of time outside, too! The kids love visiting the playground because it’s additional space for them to run around—and it makes them feel like they’re at the heart of their neighborhood.
What’s one thing parents should know about your program?
Caregiving is most successful when it’s a communal effort! The children (and their parents and guardians) will feel like they’re part of a family. Back in Vietnam, I was everyone’s favorite go-to babysitter; I’ve helped raise over 20 family members over the years, including my own two children. Parents should feel more than welcome coming to me for advice. We’ll work as partners in this exciting process of guiding the next generation. Parents might also be happy to know that my daughter, Vy, is also working at this program as a part-time assistant. This extra help means that the kids in this program will receive twice the attention and support!

Daycare rates depend on how old your child will be and what your schedule looks like. 5 days / week might get a slight discount, and infant rates are usually more than toddlers’. Finding a spot also depends on age and schedule because each daycare has a limited number of openings for each age range.
There is 1 home daycare in Westlake Village. Most care for 6 to 10 children and take both infants and toddlers. All home daycares are licensed by the DFPS – Texas Child Care Licensing, just like preschool centers.

We know how hard finding good child care can be – especially for first-time parents. But really good care is what gives you the peace of mind to go back to work and feel confident that your child is getting the stimulation, socialization, and support they need to learn and grow.
So we created NeighborSchools to make this piece of parenthood a whole lot easier. We say “easier” because, let’s be honest, it’s still a big thing to figure out, but working together we can help you find some good options, understand the whole process, and choose a program you’ll feel really good about.
How’s it work?
Most first-time parents don’t know exactly what they’re looking for, so we created a simple survey that will ask you questions about your lifestyle, your daily routines, and your preferences for child care. We’ll then share 3 personalized recommendations that we think might be a good fit. We’ll also give you a timeline that maps out when we would suggest you start touring programs, choose a daycare, and pay a deposit to secure a spot. Your timeline is based on when you want to start care – so you set the pace, and you decide when you’ve found the right match.
Is there a cost?
Nope. Our daycare recommendation service is free for parents. The other half of our business is helping these small-scale daycares with software and services that handle all their administrative tasks, like online contracting, payment processing, and licensing requirements. Before NeighborSchools, services like these were only designed for large corporate child care centers, and part of our mission is to level the playing field for small, independent child care programs. That’s why we picked the name NeighborSchools – we’re all about making child care more personal, more human, and more equitable for the incredible individuals who do this work and care for our children.

A Harris County free child care program is set to start, and advocates say it’s needed because child care centers across the state are in crisis.
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A Harris County free child care program is set to start in days, and advocates say it couldn’t come at a better time because the child care centers across the state are in crisis.
Sending your kid to child care is too much for some parents.
“If you want to go to a better place and a better area, it’s going to be $300 and up per child,” Paola Diaz explained.
Diaz said child care costs are why she’s at home spending summer days at the library instead of work.
“It keeps you from trying to work, or do other stuff around,” Diaz said. “It is hard.”
Harris County is looking to help. This month, an Early REACH program starts. The county is using $26 million in federal funds to cover child care costs. If you live in the county, have a kid under age four, and meet the income requirements, you could receive free child care.
“There are so many child care deserts around Harris County and we want to provide not only free child care, but high quality child care,” BakerRipley spokesperson Frederick Goodall said.
Advocates said this is a statewide problem. Texas Care for Children said a family of four spends nearly $20,000 a year in child care.
During the pandemic, the state spent millions on this issue. It’s funding that has dried up.
During this past session, advocates lawmakers didn’t do enough to fund child care.
“That funding would’ve supported the continuation of stabilization grants that the state launched during the pandemic that were critical to keeping programs open,” Texas Care for Children early learning policy director David Feigen said.
Advocates said it’s not only the cost of child care, but workers’ pay. On average, they make $11 an hour.
Without assistance, it could cause facilities to close. It’s a problem they say has already caused child care deserts, mainly in low-income communities.
“It means they have to find alternative arrangements for their kids and for some kids that means arrangements that are not high quality or children are stuck in front of a television screen rather than getting read to be a teacher and engaging with other kids,” Feigen explained.
Without work, parents aren’t spending money. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce said Texas loses $9 billion a year in revenue because of parents not working. That’s money that could go to infrastructure, teachers, and other state projects, which is why advocates say programs like the one the county will launch this month are important for us all.
