In Kirov, a dog that ran away from a grooming salon died under the wheels of a car

The incident happened on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in Kirov. A Chinese Crested dog ran out of one of the grooming salons and was hit by a car a few hours later. The owner of the dog believes that her pet died because of the negligence of the groomer.

We tried to understand the situation and learned firsthand what events preceded the tragedy.

Take care of your pets. The owner of the Chinese Crested after the incident decided to warn other dog breeders to take care of their pets:

My little girl died during the night. Due to the negligent attitude of the groomer. Who didn’t even call to say she was missing. Take care of your pets and trust only conscientious people, – Ekaterina R., the owner of the deceased dog, wrote in the public “About the City of Kirov”.

Complete record. Grumer Ekaterina G. told the editors of progorod43.ru that on that day, July 15, she had a full record. The hostess of the crested called on Friday and begged to be accepted.

She said that she was leaving on vacation for the weekend and she urgently needed to get her dog in order. I indicated that I would be able to receive them, but only at 17:30 on July 15th.

In response, the owner of the crested said that at 17 o’clock she needed to be in another place and asked if she could bring her dog earlier, I agreed. I was still busy with another dog when the Chinese crested arrived. She offered to put the dog in a cage so that it would wait for its turn there – this is the norm, we keep all dogs in cages. Then the crested mistress said: “My princess will not sit in a cage.” I was confused. In this case, she suggested leaving the dog in the utility room. It suited the hostess, – said the groomer Ekaterina G.

An unfortunate accident. The emergency happened suddenly. Ekaterina recalls that she needed to go into the utility room, she opened the door ajar and the dog literally flew out of there like a bullet:

The entrance door to the salon was ajar at the same time – the crested hostess did not close it. The dog ran out into the street. I rushed after.

Ekaterina asked everyone who was similar – no one saw a small dog.

I returned, took the dog treat that the owner had left, and went to look for it. I hoped to lure the animal with food. I came across a dog, but it didn’t fit people at all, even a treat didn’t help. It seemed that the dog had never seen people besides its owner.

Night call. Having learned about the state of emergency, the owner of the runaway animal also arrived. Together with the groomer, they searched for the dog for about five hours.

I participated in the search until 22:00. She asked for a photo of the dog, printed out an ad, asked everyone to paste them. I found out that the dog had died under the wheels of a car at about 23:30 – the owner of the Chinese Crested called me.

Master’s remorse. Grumer Ekaterina G. understands all responsibility, admits her guilt, she is ready to enter into further dialogue with the owner of the runaway dog, to compensate for the damage.

Additionally, it’s important to note that spelling is not a fixed skill – it can always be improved with practice. Students should make a habit of reading widely and paying attention to the spelling of words in the texts they read. They can also use online resources and apps to practice spelling and reinforce their understanding of spelling rules.

Mastering spelling is an essential component of a student’s academic success. Unfortunately, insufficient funding, and most importantly, the lack of qualified teaching staff are still the main problems of preschool education.

The problems of the aging of the staff, the decline in the prestige of the profession of educator due to social insecurity in recent decades, give reason to predict the emergence of a crisis situation in 5-6 years with the provision of personnel for our institution.

Focusing on the personnel of our kindergarten, we have decided on the areas of work in personnel policy, highlighting four main ones.

Improvement of pedagogical competence. For the effectiveness of the pedagogical process, a constant search for new, more effective methods of education and training is necessary, with the help of which the content of education is transferred to children.

We are faced with the goal of improving the qualifications of preschool educational institutions and the level of pedagogical skills. In this regard, it is planned for teachers to undergo advanced training courses every three years on the basis of the Krasnoyarsk IPKRO.

ICT proficiency, according to the new professional standard of a teacher, is one of the main criteria for the teacher’s skill. eight people received certificates of completion of the courses “Formation of teachers’ ICT competence”. The practical results are obvious – GCD, parent-teacher meetings, events with teachers are carried out using ICT technologies.

The essence of the management of any team is an activity that reflects the effective work of the staff in general and the smooth work of each employee in particular. The general model of personnel management includes such closely interacting mechanisms as the selection and placement of personnel, development and training of employees, analysis and evaluation of performance, motivation and remuneration of personnel, etc. in the following documents: collective agreement, certification regulations, job descriptions.

PERSONNEL CONDITIONS

Personnel policy is a mechanism for developing goals and objectives aimed at preserving, strengthening and developing human resources, creating a responsible, highly productive, cohesive team capable of adequately responding to constantly changing requirements.

Changes taking place in society entail changes in the work of preschool institutions. Kindergarten today is a complex organism, striving for development, looking for new opportunities, creating the necessary conditions to meet the needs of the child, family, society, providing conditions for creative, professional work of teachers that meets the most modern requirements.

Purpose of personnel policy MBDOU Ermakovskiy kindergarten No. 2 of the combined type “Spring”: full and timely satisfaction of the needs of a preschool educational institution in labor resources of the required quality.

The main tasks are:

– to provide preschool educational institutions with qualified personnel.

– to create a system for retaining young professionals in preschool educational institutions;

– to create a set of social and moral incentives to improve the status of teaching staff of preschool educational institutions.

— monitor the state of professional development of teachers;

– to motivate and stimulate teaching staff aimed at improving the quality of education, upbringing and development of preschool children.

— creation of conditions in the institution for in-system professional development of teachers and continuous education of teaching staff.

  • Optimization and stabilization of the staff of the educational institution.
  • Creation and maintenance of organizational order in the institution, increasing the diligence, responsibility of employees for the performance of official duties, strengthening labor discipline.
  • Formation of business corporate culture of the institution.
  • Creation of safe and comfortable working conditions in the institution.

The plan was developed in accordance with regulatory legal documents:

  1. Federal Law “On Education in the Russian Federation” dated December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ
  2. “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the device, content and organization of the working hours of preschool organizations.” Sanitary and epidemiological rules and regulations SanPiN 2.4.1.3049-13, approved by the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated May 15, 2013 No. 26, (hereinafter – SanPiN).
  3. Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated 10/17/2013 No. 1155 “On approval of the federal state educational standard for preschool education” (Registered in the Ministry of Justice of Russia on 11/14/2013 N 30384) .
  4. By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated 13. 08.2013 No. No. 1014 “On approval of the procedure for organizing and implementing educational activities for the main general educational programs – educational programs of preschool education.”
  5. Charter of the DOW (hereinafter – the Charter).
  6. Education license.
  7. Teacher professional standard.

Initially, a personnel audit was carried out.

Our team consists of 17 pedagogical workers, including: a head teacher, a senior educator, 10 educators, 1 music worker, a physical education instructor, 2 speech therapist teachers, and a psychologist teacher.

assistant educators there are 7 people.

Maintenance staff – 13 people.

With higher pedagogical education – 13 teachers;

secondary specialized pedagogical education – 4 teachers;

Our team is divided into categories:

Higher – 9;

First – 5;

compliance – 2;

young professionals – 2.

Pedagogical experience:

Up to 5 years – 2;

From 5 to 10 years – 3;

From 10 to 15 years -1

From 15 to 20 years – 1;

25 to 25 years -5;

More than 25 years – 4.

The director of the Cobain film promised the release of unknown songs of the lead singer of Nirvana

Lead singer of the popular American indie rock band The Killers Brandon Flowers in his interview to Rolling Stone magazine spoke about the creative plans that he and his band will start in the near future.

Brandon Flowers admitted that the tour, which members of The Killers held last summer, tired the musicians. After the world tour, they announced their desire to take a short creative break: “A couple of the guys just ran out of steam, so we had to slow down this rat race. But I’m not tired. I wanted to continue.”

Thus, the rock band’s sabbatical allowed Flowers to devote all his free time to active work on his second solo album. The album titled “The Desired Effect” will be released on May 19th.

It is known that the vocalist invited Ariel Rechtscheid, who previously worked with the Vampire Weekend and Haim team, as a producer.

In an interview with journalists, the musician said that on July 27, 2015 he is going to go on a solo tour. The tour will begin with a concert in Millville. Brandon’s performances are scheduled at the largest venues in Europe.

It is worth noting that the reporters of the music publication did not forget how Flowers called his debut solo album “one of the best records that have come out in the last 20 years.”

When journalists tried to find out the reasons for such a statement from the frontman of the rock band, he explained his act with an emotional upsurge associated with the release of a new creative work: “Yeah, it was one of those “those interviews”. I still remember how it was. In order to speak with a journalist, I stopped on the road in Henderson, Nevada. And I still remember those words that came out of my mouth.

A Diverse, Inclusive, and Accessible Culture

Your child belongs in our circle.

No matter your child’s age, you have big dreams for their future. So do we. That’s why we commit to preparing them for the next step at school—and beyond.

Children of all ages are able to learn how to practice empathy, compassion, and understanding. And everything they do—from reading books and making art to even having lunch—can be experienced through an inclusive lens.

Browse through this page to learn how we approach educating early learners on the fundamentals of acceptance, how we celebrate differences in our programs, and how we honor diversity in our community. You’ll also find resources and ideas for practicing inclusion and compassion at home.

Bring inclusion home.

Teaching empathy, compassion and understanding to kids is much easier than you think! In fact, you may be doing a lot of it already. Click through the tabs below to get more ideas on how to bring these important lessons home!

  • Ages 8–12
  • Ages 5–7
  • Ages 3–5

Involve older children in conversations about fairness and justice.

Fairness and justice are hot topics for this age group, and that makes these concepts easy for them to relate to.

  • Define the difference between equality and equity. To put it simply: Equality is when everyone gets the same thing. Equity is when everyone gets what they need to be successful. Challenge your child to look for moments or places when they notice equity and equality in the world. Great places to start are handicapped parking spaces, over-sized bathroom stalls, and Braille in elevators.
  • Keep the conversation going. As things come up in the news or in your community, talk about them—your child’s opinions and ideas might surprise you!

Expand your child’s point of view (in big and small ways).

Use everyday moments as teachable opportunities to open your child to other points of view and new experiences.

  • Explore outside your neighborhood. When signing up for activities, try a music class or a play soccer in a new neighborhood, where you’ll broaden your family’s potential for meeting new groups of people.
  • Check out community events. Celebrate different cultures, holidays, and observances that are different from yours. Look to your local library for ideas—sometimes they also have free resources and events.
  • Point out stereotypes and biases when you hear them in stories or see them in books (for example, letting your child know they can be anything they want or have any occupation).
  • Be upstanders together. Talk about how you might handle a situation when someone isn’t being treated respectfully and how you could support them.

Learn about understanding and inclusion.

The lessons they learn now will build on new ones as your child grows, helping them develop a foundation for empathy, compassion, and understanding.

  • Create diverse experiences. Read books that show different cultures, identities, and characters than those in your own home, listen (and dance) to new music genres, enjoy a wide variety of flavors when you eat, and look at art created by artists all over the world. As you build these experiences, they create new thought patterns that help your child see differences as attributes.
  • Acknowledge similarities and differences. Bring your child’s attention to things they can see that are different and the same about themselves and yourself! Pointing to and naming parts of your body that are the same (i. e., “We both have eyes”) or describing the qualities that are different (i.e., “You have green eyes and I have brown eyes”) can help your child learn to appreciate and accept the ways we are alike yet also unique.
  • Name feelings in themselves and others. When your child has big feelings, give them a name (i.e., “I see that loud noise made you feel scared”) and let them know it’s okay to express their feelings. Then, you can help them recognize that feeling in others (i.e., “Your friend feels scared right now. Remember when you felt scared?”). These are building blocks for empathy and understanding, which can help interrupt the development of biases before they start.

How to Calculate Overtime for Nannies

Most regular nannies are paid on a guaranteed pay basis. What this typically means is that the family agreed to pay the nanny a pre-determined salary for a given number of hours in a pay period. The full time nanny work schedule is often more than 40 hours per week.

It is important to remember, however, that nannies are NON-EXEMPT, hourly employees according to Federal Law and are entitled to nanny overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per week. Minimum wage and overtime requirements are set, as a floor, by Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and states may have stricter requirements of their own. If the household employee receives a “salary” that covers a work week of more than 40 hours, your employment agreement must explicitly state the regular and nanny overtime rates of pay. (See our exclusive Hourly Rate Calculator for help.) Protect yourself… read on.

Setting an Hourly Pay Rate

Stating the employee wage in an hourly pay rate form helps the employer remain compliant with the FLSA and state wage and hour rules and avoids wage disputes with the employee. In a formal dispute (Wage & Hours Board Complaint), a work agreement that simply stipulates a weekly salary will be evaluated based on a 40 hour work week. Our exclusive Hourly Pay Rate Calculator simplifies the conversion of a periodic salary to an hourly wage.

HomeWork Solutions strongly encourages families to develop a written work agreement that documents all terms and conditions of employment. This should include agreed pay rate, hours of duty, paid holidays, vacation/sick/personal days paid and the benefit accrual method.

» Structuring FLSA Compliant Work Agreements

How, then, to calculate overtime for the salaried nanny?

Employers must first translate the nanny’s salary to an HOURLY PAY RATE. The means to do this will be different, depending on whether the nanny lives-in with the employer, or lives-out (come and go).

  1. Convert the nanny’s salary to a weekly one.
    Weekly Salary: No Conversion Needed.
    Bi-Weekly Salary: Divide the salary by 2.
    Semi-Monthly (2x Per Month) Salary: Multiply by 24 (number of payments in a year) and divide by 52 (number of weeks in a year).
    Monthly Salary: Multiply by 12 (number of payments in a year) and divide by 52 (number of weeks in a year).
  2. Calculate the number of hours worked in a week.
  3. If total weekly hours are less than 40, simply divide the weekly salary by the number of hours worked. Result is HOURLY PAY RATE. If total hours GREATER than 40, continue below.

Live In Nanny

  • Divide the weekly salary by the number of hours worked. Result is HOURLY PAY RATE. For a live-in nanny, HOURLY PAY RATE = OVERTIME HOURLY PAY RATE

Live Out Nanny

  • Subtract 40 from weekly hours worked. Result is OVERTIME HOURS WORKED.
  • Multiply OVERTIME HOURS WORKED by 1.5.
  • Add 40 to the result of Step 5.
  • Divide the weekly salary by the result of Step 6. Result is HOURLY PAY RATE.
  • Multiply HOURLY PAY RATE by 1. 5, Result is the OVERTIME HOURLY PAY RATE

Now that the HOURLY PAY RATE has been determined, simply multiply the additional hours worked (above the regularly scheduled/compensated hours) by the HOURLY PAY RATE, applying the overtime differential if a live-out employee, to determine the additional overtime compensation due.

Compensation for Occasional Overnights

From time to time a nanny employer may require that the nanny stay overnight when parents are out of town. Employers and nannies alike often question how such overnight stays should be compensated, as the nanny is clearly sleeping for some portion of the time on duty.

Compensation for occasional overnights should be worked out in advance of the occasion, preferably memorialized within the written work agreement. The FLSA allows up to 8 hours of “sleep time” to be uncompensated for overnight care that is BOTH contiguous with a scheduled work day (24 hour+ shift) AND truly affords the nanny 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Nanny overtime rules apply, so hours over 40 in the work week must be properly calculated for overtime. Additionally, it is common to provide an additional stipend to the nanny for the occasional overnight.

Let’s use an example. Nanny typically works Monday – Friday from 8 AM until 6 PM. She lives out and is paid $850 per week, or $15.45 per hour for the first 40 hours, and $23.18 for the 10 hours of overtime. She stays overnight Thursday – Friday. There are 14 additional hours, 8 that can be excluded if she really can sleep, and 6 to be compensated at the $23.18 overtime rate. Family’s written work agreement provides a $50 overnight stipend.

Non-contiguous overnight care – a Saturday night when the nanny is not scheduled to work either Saturday or Sunday – is typically much more generously compensated. The FLSA does not allow a sleep time exemption if the shift is less than 24 hours. At a minimum a nanny who is already scheduled 40 hours or more during the work week is entitled to her overtime rate for the weekend care. If nanny works Saturday 8 PM until Sunday 10 AM she must be paid for 14 hours. The family may or may not choose to provide an overnight stipend in this situation. Negotiating this type of compensation in advance is a good practice to avoid misunderstanding and conflict with the nanny.

These ‘formulas’ apply to older babies, preschoolers and older children who have a fixed nighttime routine and sleep through the night. Overnight nanny rates involving infant care throughout the night – feedings, medications, diaper changes – is a different beast and the family should expect to pay a premium. When nanny’s sleep will be interrupted in these cases, the entire shift must be compensated at the appropriate hourly rate.

Choices for childcare are not only challenging, but they can be expensive. If one parent stays home, the family can save money in the short-term. Still, the non-working parent loses wages, work opportunities, and future social security benefits. There are so many factors to consider.

If you’ve decided to explore the in-home care options such as getting a babysitter or nanny, then you are going to be an employer. Yes, I know that conjures up images of mansions, manicured gardens, and a life of luxury travel.

But everyday people are hiring nanny’s to help out with their childcare needs so they can continue working.

But when you turn into an employer, there are certain obligations you need to fulfill, and one of those is paying taxes on your nanny’s income. If you’ve never been an employer, this can be downright scary and confusing. No one wants to get it wrong. The consequences can be dire for you and your nanny.

Many people decide to pay for their childcare providers in cash to avoid tax, but there are so many reasons this can get you into trouble. Doing this also puts your nanny at a disadvantage. You put yourself at risk of being sued if your nanny gets injured at work. You don’t get to earn a tax deduction for your childcare. You have a constant fear of being audited and “put into the authorities” for tax evasion.

It’s best to do it correctly the first time to decrease the likelihood of large penalties in the future.

The hardest part of the process is finding someone you implicitly trust to look after your child. Then the rest is just paperwork.

We need to discuss nanny tax calculators, so you don’t get into deep water with the IRS! But before we start, make sure you have all the forms filled out.

Employer Forms

Employer Identification Number (EIN)

This is the number you’ll have to use to pay taxes associated with your nanny. You can apply online and instantly download your approval letter and get your EIN.

State Unemployment Taxes

States vary with the rates and rules, so you need to check with your local state department of labor. You can register online in most states using your EIN. But you may have to wait for your assigned tax rate to show up by mail.

Employee forms

Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification

Your nanny fills out Form I-9, and you keep it on file for three years after you have hired them, or one year after they stop working for you. If they leave after one year, you still must retain her I-9 for another two years.

Form W-4, Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate

You’re not required to withhold federal income taxes, but if your employee wants you to, they must complete the Form W-4.

Whether you pay your nanny every week, bi-weekly or monthly, you’ll need to calculate their gross and net wages on payday. After depositing your nanny’s wage, you should email a paystub. It’s advisable to have an overview of the hours worked, taxes withheld, and gross and net income.

The process should look something like this:

  1. Add up the hours your nanny has worked during the previous payroll period.
  2. Multiply the number of hours by the hourly wage. This is the gross wage.
  3. Calculate social security and Medicare taxes. You and your employee each pay 7.65 percent of gross wages.
  4. Subtract your employee’s share from her gross wages and record the amount you owe.
  5. If your nanny requested you to withhold federal income taxes, you could use the income tax withholding tables. It is best to use a nanny tax calculator for this as it can be quite complicated.
  6. Calculate your state unemployment taxes if applicable.
  7. Calculate the federal unemployment taxes (FUTA). Only the employer pays FUTA on the first $7,000 of your nanny’s annual wages. The current rate is six percent, but you may be eligible to receive a credit if you also pay state unemployment taxes.

The federal taxes must be paid online through The Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS). Be sure to keep in the know about the deadlines, because the late fees are hefty.

If you are concerned about miscalculations, there are some online nanny tax calculators you can check out. All you have to do is fill in the figures and information requested, and the computer does the rest. Some even prepare payment stubs for you to email or print for your nanny. These nanny tax calculators are usually free. Here are a few online nanny tax calculators to start your research.

The Nanny Tax Company

Paying nanny taxes can seem intimidating at first. But once you get the paperwork sorted, you can more or less put the process on automation. Especially if you pay your nanny the same amount every week.

How has Kidsout changed my life?

Thanks to Kidsout, I not only learned to communicate, play, have fun and negotiate with children, but also turned my life around 180 degrees, getting a new job from the father of one of the boys, with whom I studied English 2 times a week.
Kidsout is an endless number of new opportunities that you shouldn’t miss!

Kidzout are families with their own characteristics and traditions, when I enter the house I live the life of a particular family, they open their doors and hearts, and of course refrigerators)) and I plunge into the world of the family and leave my mark, it seems so strange at first, and then you get used to it and waiting for someone to open the door… Kidzout opened the world of Adults to me where everything is decided by Children and it’s wonderful!

I’m Mira and I’ve been a kidzout for 3 years now.
And I’m happy.

It was about three years ago! I’m studying, I don’t really understand how to take my free time, and then suddenly a friend: “Will you go to Kidsout?”. I went … As a result, I also learn a lot from the children, and they draw something from me (as it seems to me). Learned a lot. After all, everything could be different, but no: the experience of a babysitter is invaluable and cannot be replaced by anything!

Kidsout gave me more than just an experience, it gave me a lot of pleasant and amazing meetings, the opportunity to see the world (now I am on my second long trip abroad with my children), test myself, learn patience, strength and iron zen. Every day I learn from children, often they know much more than unlucky adults! For me, this work has ceased to be a “work”, today it is part of my life.

Questions and answers

Who is a babysitter?

Babysitters are young girls and boys, mostly students. They like to play, draw, dance, put on plays with children and just crawl around the house. They can be trusted to pick up the child from school and take him to classes. They work part time. Unlike a professional nanny, in addition to looking after children, they have a lot of interests in life. They do not want to get a permanent job, but they are ready to work with one child regularly. And you, instead of regularly entering “nanny for an hour St. Petersburg” “hourly nanny MSC” in the search engine, you will know where and to whom you can contact.

Nanny visas to the UK

Nanny to travel to the UK, which visa to open for a nanny 9000 3

Invitation for a nanny visa to the UK, how to write?

How do I get a UK nanny visa to work with a family?

What kind of visa does a nanny need to get in England?

These are the most common inquiries and questions we have received in recent years. We want to note right away that there is no nanny visa, there is no such concept in the British Home Office immigration and visa legislation. Yes, many nannies are officially employed in the UK on a domestic worker visa. We arrange visas for many nannies from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and even request a visa for a nanny from the Philippines and China to work in British families and foreign families who came to work in the UK.

VikiVisa.Com 2021

There is a general UK domestic worker visa Domestic Workers in a Private 9060 5 Household visa – Household workers on a private visa to work in the UK, including babysitting, childcare and household chores.

The history of this category of domestic worker visa to work in England. Previously (until 2015) it was possible to work almost permanently in the UK on a Domestic Workers visa.

Obtaining a nanny visa was easy with a minimum package of documents, visa requirements were loyal.

A nanny visa was opened for 6 months, then the visa could be extended without leaving the UK, and so on. What is most interesting, domestic worker visas were subject to naturalization and after 5-7 years it was possible to obtain ILR and then British citizenship and all this on an employee visa – nanny, gardener, security guard, driver, maid, house manager and other professions for domestic work in England and Scotland. It doesn’t work that way now, unfortunately.

Who can apply for a nanny visa to the UK

the nanny and other attendants come to the UK to accompany and perform housework, childcare and other work. The visa has become inconvenient and difficult, you need to document your long-term relationship with the employer.

Nanny visa is also open for 6 months, it can be extended in individual cases. The extension of the nanny visa depends on the employer, status, work contract in the UK and other circumstances, documents, certificates, extracts that need to be provided to UKVI officers to apply for a new nanny visa.

There is always a chance to get a nanny visa

First of all, you need to decide for how long you are going to the UK with a nanny? What is the purpose of the trip for the family (employer) and what visas are open?

Visas for nannies and maids and other staff to work in the UK in a family with children

If the trip is short, it is easier to open a tourist visa for a nanny. This applies to cases where the employer-family and children have standard tourist visas.

If the family has work visas, dependent visas, entrepreneur visas, start-up visas, innovator visas, investor visas or long-term student visas, we recommend taking the time to apply for a nanny domestic worker visa.

    Below are a few reasons why you should enroll your child in any of the boarding schools in Virginia.

    #1. Children in Virginia boarding schools are in care

    Yes, you don’t have to worry about who will take care of your child now that he is away from you.

    In these boarding schools, students are cared for by guardians, who are usually school teachers or parents.

    These caregivers make sure your child excels in academics, health, and character.

    #3. Your child will be academically prepared.

    The main difference between a day school and a boarding school is the focus on learning.

    In most boarding schools in Virginia, children spend more time in academics and less time in extracurricular activities.

    So you can count on your tuition fees not to go down the drain.

    This does not mean that there are no extra-curricular activities, there are a lot of them.

    It’s just that boarding schools have time for everything.

    No. 4. Your child gets the opportunity to study and live in world-class institutions.

    Most day schools do not experience the stress of having their facilities stand out on a large scale.

    However, boarding schools have world-class amenities that students enjoy while staying in school residences.

    These facilities include a well-equipped laboratory, well-stocked libraries, and huge astronomical playgrounds.

    Classes are out of the ordinary, there is 24/7 emergency medical assistance, and an unsurpassed astute board of directors.

    № 5. You can be sure that your child will learn to be independent.

    In boarding high schools in Virginia, your child usually grows up with other children.

    It helps them gain confidence and independence.

    Students develop responsible habits as they learn to be considerate of others, take care of personal and shared space, and conserve natural resources.

    Compared to regular schools, these are just a few of the reasons why parents have to pay a few extra dollars for boarding schools.
