Children are the greatest miracle! Of course, this is still a big responsibility and hard work, but when the Internet is at hand, all difficulties are overcome much easier, and there is more time to rejoice and be surprised at the ease of children’s happiness.
All parents are periodically tormented by the question of what to do with their child? And buying a set of cars or small soldiers is not the best option, because they will certainly be scattered throughout the house, and at one fine moment the cars will turn into extreme videos for parents, and the soldiers will shoot exclusively at the heels that step on them. The best choice in this case is www.deti-online.com. On this resource you will find fairy tales, poems and fables of the classics of Russian literature, as well as entertaining children’s riddles and coloring books that you can download and print on your home printer. This is just a treasure for new parents!
If you have a computer genius and the main toys for him are a mouse and a keyboard, then you definitely need to show him the site www.igraemsa.ru. So you kill two birds with one stone: your child will play computer games and at the same time study. The portal has a lot of games for attention, memory and logic, not to mention puzzles and rebuses! The kid will be happy to play such games as “Connect by dots”, “Logic chain” and “Find differences”, and you will be calm for his free time.
The educational resource www.pochemu4ka.ru will help both children and their parents. For children, the site has materials on musical, artistic and even physical education development. And for young mothers, articles about breastfeeding, baby food and raising a child will be very helpful. There is also a forum for parents on the portal, where you can ask any question you are interested in or tell about your experience. how to develop motor skills, coordination and strength
How do games affect the physical development of a child? Try to diversify your baby’s leisure time with games on the street, in the house or in the gym. Find out about the benefits of games for the physical health and development of a child in an article on our website.
The physical development of children is one of the most important aspects of their health. It includes the development of motor skills, coordination and strength. For this, it is important that children engage in physical exercise and play sports that will stimulate their development at an early stage in life.
Motor skills games and activities help children develop self-confidence and body awareness. There are many options for parents and caregivers: jumping, running, throwing a ball, dancing and gymnastics. In addition, various games on the sports grounds also contribute to the development of motor skills, movement control and coordination.
An important element in the development of children is the development of strength, especially muscle. To do this, you can exercise with dumbbells, elastic bands, your own body weight and other special devices. But no less effective are games such as tug of war, ball games in the walls and other types of games that require effort and physical activity.
Basic principles of play physical education for children
The game should be interesting and attractive for the child. In order for a child to actively participate in the game and enjoy it, the game must be interesting and exciting. It is important to choose a game that will be appropriate for the age and developmental level of the child.
Exercise should be varied and safe. Loads in the game should not be exorbitant and dangerous to the health of the child. Games should include elements of warm-up, stretching and exercises to develop flexibility, strength and speed.
The game must have elements of competition and interaction. Competing and interacting with other children promotes the child’s development of qualities such as sportsmanship, team spirit and the ability to work in a team. It is important to take into account age characteristics and avoid offensive behavior.
Games should encourage the development of motor skills, coordination and balance. Games must include a variety of movements to help improve motor skills, coordination and balance. These can be jumping, running, crawling, throwing, etc.
An individual approach to each child is important. Each child has his own individual characteristics and abilities. Therefore, it is important to consider his level of fitness, health and age when choosing a game and playing it.

Educational outdoor games
Along with the importance of attending sports clubs and playing sports, outdoor play can be a great way to develop motor skills, coordination and strength in children. Here are some examples of outdoor play that will help your child become more physically active.
- Reaction ball – players stand in a circle and one of them throws the ball to someone from anywhere, someone else must catch the ball and quickly throw it to another player. Players must not throw the ball to someone from their adjacent positions.
- Carousel – with a predetermined direction of movement, children run in a circle, trying to catch up with each other. If someone catches up with the other, then the latter leaves the circle, and the game continues.
- Battleship – each player chooses a corner on the street and fills it with cones, leaves or other objects. Then the children shoot at each other’s “ships” with sticks or branches, trying to knock out all the “decks” of the enemy.
These games will help your child develop coordination, reaction speed, endurance and strength skills in a more intuitive and enjoyable way than if they were playing sports directly.
Benefits of playing outdoors
Natural light and fresh air will help strengthen the immune system. | Movement in the fresh air contributes to a more complete oxygen exchange in the lungs. |
Strengthening the health of bones, muscles and ligaments. | The ability to play with friends in the same place and with different skill levels. |

Indoor educational games
There are many games that help develop motor skills, coordination and strength in children. Some of them can be done indoors, which is especially important in cold or rainy weather.
1. “Building a tower”
To do this, players need to use soft cubes or blocks. The task is to take turns taking blocks and putting them on top, preventing the tower from falling. This game requires precision, stability and concentration.
2. “Jumping over obstacles”
Soft pillows or mats are useful here. A parent or guardian can raise pillows or mats so that the child can jump over them. This game will help develop flexibility, balance and endurance.
3. “Dancing”
Dancing is an easy and fun way to develop motor skills and coordination. Choose your child’s favorite music and ask him to dance. This will not only strengthen the body, but also help improve mood.
4. Treasure Hunt
In this game, the child is looking for small items that are hidden in the house. It can be a coin, a toy or other interesting items. The child should look for them in different places in the room, and remembering the locations will help develop the brain and memory.
5. One-Leg Balance
One-Leg Balance is a simple yet effective game for developing strength and coordination. The child should stand on one leg and keep balance as long as possible.
These are just some of the examples of games that can be played indoors. The main thing – do not forget that the game should be fun, interesting and safe so that the child gets the maximum benefit and pleasure from it.
Sports games for developing coordination and strength
Sports games are good for developing coordination and strength in children. They help develop motor skills, improve coordination, strengthen muscles and improve the health of the child.
One of these games is “Ball rolling”. The game requires a ball and an open area. The child takes the ball and rolls it in different directions, overcoming obstacles. This game helps develop coordination and strength in the arms and shoulders.
The game “Overcoming obstacles” is also effective. The game requires obstacles such as wooden blocks or cones. The child overcomes obstacles by jumping and bypassing. Such a game helps to develop coordination, flexibility and strength in the legs and foot muscles.
One of the classic games that helps develop strength is Bluff. To play, you need the company of children and a space where you can run. One player plays for “light”, the other players for “darkness”. When the one who plays for the “light” closes his eyes, the other players must run past him, while avoiding being caught. This game helps to develop strength, endurance and coordination.
Another effective game is Street Football. The game requires a ball and open space. The child must kick the ball while running after the ball and defending his goal. This game helps to develop leg strength, coordination and endurance.
Active play in nature
Play in nature has many benefits for the development of a child’s physical skills: they help strengthen muscles, learn to control their body, develop dexterity, coordination and balance.
One of these games, hide-and-seek, requires speed and dexterity in movement. Another – “Ball” – develops hand-eye coordination and strengthens the muscles. The third, Steeplechase Walk, helps improve balance and increase endurance.
You can also organize a “Relay Race”, which includes various physical elements – running, jumping, crawling. This will help the child increase stamina and learn to make sense of their actions in more complex tasks.
At the same time, each child has his own characteristics and abilities, so it is important to choose a game that suits him. Some children may be better than one activity and others better than another. In any case, the choice of the game should be focused on the interests and capabilities of a particular child.
In addition, outdoor play can be a great way to spend time with parents or friends. After all, communication depends not only on physical skills, but also on the full development of the child as a whole.
Fun to develop fine motor skills
Fine motor skills are the ability to move your hands and fingers accurately and confidently. It is very important for the child, as it prepares him for writing, drawing, needlework and other tasks that require accuracy and coordination of movements. All these games help children not only develop motor skills and coordination, but also enjoy physical education. By playing with other children and enjoying physical activity, the child will develop and grow strong and healthy.
Obstacle games to improve flexibility and strength
Children actively move and explore the world around them, and obstacle games can help them develop flexibility, coordination and strength. Obstacle games can include jumping, crawling, stealing, balancing, and more. Here are some examples of games:
- Snake : Make a line out of rope or cloth for the child to walk like a snake. At the same time, he must move on all fours, crawl, swing, climb over and jump over obstacles. This game will help develop the flexibility and strength of the arms and legs.
- Tree park : the child must balance on a low board in the shape of a tree, jump from one board to another and move over obstacles. This game will help develop coordination, flexibility and leg strength.
- Animal trail : place various “traps” around the room or yard, such as piles of cotton wool, cloth tunnels, hanging pieces of cloth, etc. The child must walk along the path, avoiding traps, crawl, get on all fours, climb over obstacles and jump. This will help develop flexibility and strength in the legs and arms.
It is important that obstacle games are safe and appropriate for the child’s age and ability. It is necessary to tell the child that he must be careful to avoid injury. If the child is not confident in his abilities or is having difficulty completing a task, help him and encourage him. Obstacle games will help your child become stronger and more flexible, as well as develop coordination and balance.
Dance games to develop rhythm and coordination
Dance games help develop coordination, flexibility and rhythm in children of all ages. Starting to play dancing, the child begins to hear the music and move in its rhythm, which develops an ear for music and gives a sense of rhythm.
Dance games can be varied: dance relay, hot-cold game with music, dance wheels and much more. They help develop coordination of movements and control of your body.
Children can also learn how to work in a team by playing the “Dance Flash Mob”, where you need to prepare a dance in advance and show it to everyone.
The table below shows some examples of dance games that help develop rhythm and coordination:
Name of the game Description
Dance Relay Race | Teams run in turn and each participant dances their dance to the background of music. Be sure to repeat the dance shown by the team before. |
Dance duo | Two participants dance together in the morning studio or on the home dance floor, choosing a composition to your taste and showing you the full range of dances. |
Dance flash mob | All participants dance together outdoors or indoors, as if spontaneously, to the music that everyone has listened to and learned in advance. |
In each of these games, the host can use different music tracks, which not only diversifies the game, but also allows children to hear music of different genres and directions.
Games for the development of speed and dexterity
The child must be not only strong and enduring, but also fast and agile. Indeed, in many games and competitions, the winner is not the one who is stronger, but the one who is faster and more agile.
What games can help develop speed and dexterity in a child?
- Ball games: basketball, football, volleyball. They need to run fast, jump and react to the ball.
- Obstacle games: jumping rope, ramp or rectangle. Such games develop flexibility and responsiveness.
- Track games: long-distance competitions with different conditions (eg obstacles or varying slopes).
- Coordination games: playing drums or using stairs. Such games help to train the accuracy of movements and improve coordination.
- Balance games: play with a fluffy ball on the hands or between the legs. This will help develop coordination and focus.
Remember that all games must be safe and take precautions!
Relay races and team games in physical education classes
Relay races and team games are a great opportunity to diversify physical education and develop motor skills, coordination and strength in children. Such games contribute to the formation of a team spirit and the development of social skills in children.
One of the most popular games is “Chocolate Pillar”. Children are divided into teams and lined up. There is a chocolate pillar on the chair, which must be passed through the whole team without using the hands. The first participant passes the column with his lips to the next, and he passes on until the column reaches the last participant. The team that completes the fastest wins.
Another interesting game is Spider. Children are divided into teams and lined up along the wall. In each team, a “spider” is selected. At the signal of the coach, the spider begins to climb over the members of its team without falling to the ground. He passes the “spider” to the next participant, and so on. The team that completes the distance first wins.
It is also possible to conduct relay races with obstacles, such as “Running over wells”, “Overcoming barriers” and others in physical education classes. Children line up in teams and alternately overcome obstacles, passing the baton to the next team member.
It is important to remember that all children should participate in the games, and the tasks should not be too difficult for their age and physical abilities. Such games not only develop physical activity, but also help children learn to work in a team and achieve common goals.
Playground Development
Playgrounds are the perfect place to develop motor skills, coordination and strength in children. In playgrounds, you can easily create a training environment and make training useful and fun.
One of the simple exercises for developing motor skills and coordination is jumping. Children can jump rope or over small obstacles. This exercise develops leg muscles and improves balance.
Strength training is also essential for the development of the child. To do this, you can use bars, horizontal bars and rope ladders. They help strengthen the muscles of the arms, back and abdomen.
Movement games such as Catch Me If You Can help develop speed and agility. These games teach the child to move quickly, change direction and avoid obstacles.
- Remember to stay safe! In playgrounds, care must be taken to ensure that children do not get injured, fall from great heights or fall on sharp objects.
- Play with your child! Diversify your workout and you yourself will enjoy classes with children.
Playground activities can become a wonderful habit for children and parents. They will help develop many skills and improve the overall health of the child.
Games for the development of endurance and endurance of the cardiovascular system
Endurance and performance are important for the health of our body, and especially the cardiovascular system. Regular games for the physical development of the child can increase the level of endurance and strengthen the cardiovascular system of the baby.
Here are some games that can help build endurance and performance:
- Running with stations: in this game, the child runs from one station to another and performs a task at each station, such as jumping rope or touching the floor with his hand, etc. The goal is to complete all tasks and return to the starting line. This game helps to increase endurance and leg strength.
- Cross-country relay races: children can split into teams and run relay races for a certain distance with different obstacles on the way. For example, overcoming a tape “handle” or jumping on one leg in bags. This game develops endurance, flexibility and coordination.
- Dance fitness: a cloth circle with sports exercises written on it is placed on the floor. Children should dance around the circle while the music is playing and do the exercise when the music stops. This game develops endurance, flexibility and coordination.
Organizing regular physical development activities such as these can help improve your child’s cardiovascular health and overall endurance.
How to choose a game for your child’s physical development
It is important to choose games that are appropriate for your child’s age. You need to play taking into account the capabilities and abilities of the baby. For example, for younger children, you should not choose games that require high physical activity.
When choosing games, pay attention to the level of difficulty and variety of tasks. Games should have different objectives so that the child can develop different skills and abilities. It is also important that the child likes the game and arouses their interest.
Games must be safe and not endanger the child’s health. Particular attention should be paid to games related to height, speed and strength exercises.
When choosing a game for the physical development of a child, consider which muscle groups it helps to develop. For example, games that involve running help develop the cardiovascular system and lungs, while games that require strength training help develop the muscles of the arms and legs.
Do not forget about traditional games such as jumping rope, ball, relay races and more. These games, along with modern educational games, can be an effective tool for developing the physical skills and abilities of a child.
The choice of games and their number should be varied so that the child does not get bored and can find interest and pleasure in them. Thus, the right choice of games for physical development will help your child develop harmoniously and be healthy.
With a plush sign: five new production facilities for children’s goods will be built in the Russian Federation | Articles
Five new factories and workshops for the production of toys, children’s dishes, furniture and stationery will be built in Russia in three years. The enterprises will be located in the Moscow and Kirov regions, as well as in Bashkiria . As a result of the commissioning of capacities, manufacturers will be able to increase production volumes by 10–20% and increase their share on store shelves to 44% . The children’s goods industry is one of the most dependent on imports, accounting for 66% of production. The departure of European and American brands from the Russian Federation has freed up a niche for Chinese products that can displace domestic ones, market participants fear. Therefore, increasing production will help maintain this balance, experts say.
Launch a toy
Russian companies will build five new factories and workshops for the production of goods for children. Manufacturers Vesna (Kirov region), Spektr (Bashkiria), Tenth Kingdom (Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod regions) and others told about this to Izvestia. They produce toys, children’s dishes, furniture, stationery .
This data was confirmed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In addition to these organizations Bytplast (Moscow Region and the Republic of Tatarstan) is also increasing production volumes, SKB Company from the Arkhangelsk Region is also developing its production0356 (specializes in children’s furniture), the press service of the department specified.

Tenth Kingdom will start construction of a building in the Moscow Region next year, Margarita Musatova, general director of the company, told Izvestiya. Now the output of its products – board games, educational toys, designers, goods for creativity – is 12 million pieces per year, after the launch of the new plant, this figure will increase to 14-15 million , she clarified.
According to the Association of Children’s Goods Industry Enterprises (AIDT), is also being built by SKB-Company. The manufacturer of children’s furniture has already purchased an additional area of 7,000 sq. m. m in Kaliningrad , before that the company was located on 1.7 sq. m. SKV-Company declined to comment.
Vesna will build a plastic processing workshop this year , said Alexey Dorotyuk, director of the manufacturer’s commercial service. This material will be used to make dolls of higher quality , he specified.
Also representatives of two more organizations for the production of children’s goods told about the construction of one plant and workshop. However, they refused to disclose details. Thanks to new enterprises, production volumes will increase by up to 15%, they hope.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Currently, more than 1.6 thousand enterprises on the Russian market manufacture goods for children, including board games, toys and dolls .
– Enterprises produce toys, including using domestic popular animated images that carry good, positive emotions and contribute to the formation of positive thinking in children , the department noted.
Outrun China
However, the children’s goods industry is one of the most import-dependent, accounting for 66%, while domestic products account for 34%, respectively , Antonina Tsitsulina, head of AIDT, told Izvestia.
– European and American brands in Russia accounted for 25% of all imports, but most of the assortment was occupied by Chinese goods , which still dominate the shelf. After the departure of large foreign brands from our market (among them the popular Hasbro and Mattel. – Izvestia) , the niche was vacated, and domestic companies began to show interest in it, she noted.

According to AIDT, the increase in production volumes will increase the presence on store shelves by 10% – up to 44% .
According to Mikhail Burmistrov, General Director of Infoline‑Analytics, now Russian players have a chance to increase their market share.
— Chinese suppliers are also interested in increasing the supply of their products, but this process is hampered by great difficulties with the delivery of goods due to logistical problems. At the same time , our brands can deliver a batch much faster, and the cost of products from China will not be much lower than Russian , Mikhail Burmistrov believes.
Manufacturer Spektr , which produces toys, sports and stationery, plans to increase output by at least 20% during this year , a company representative said. We are talking about plastic products and board games by entering new regions , the organization specified.

This year, the Vesna toy factory plans to expand the range and offer of brand products in retail . To do this, it is planned to increase the volume of production of its products, in particular, a new line of dolls, vinyl toys and educational board games , said Alexey Dorotyuk, director of the commercial service.
Bytplast, which also produces children’s dishes, plans to further increase production in this category of goods by 10–15% , a spokesman for the organization said.
– First of all, we are expanding the range of by launching products for children from three years old: lunch boxes, reusable water bottles, gift sets . The plans are to expand production through the development of new technologies. We are also actively developing export shipments to countries such as Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and others,” he noted.

Childcare costs
Childcare prices in Cleveland, United States can vary significantly by type of facility which you choose. Many parents in Cleveland choose to send their children to a traditional school or daycare that can offer excellent educational programs for young children. However, such options can also be some of the most expensive childcare solutions in the area. While you may be paying more for top-notch teachers and amenities, many parents in Cleveland find these costs worthwhile because of the high quality of education their child receives.
On the other hand, more affordable child care options are also available in Cleveland, such as home care groups or community-based programs. Home childcare groups operate from the caregiver’s home and typically cost less than traditional schools or daycares. Community-created programs can offer similar educational benefits, but are usually more affordable and can be a great option for parents on a budget. Ultimately, the best care solution for your child will depend on your family’s needs and budget.

Child care aztec nm: Aztec Preschool – ECHO Inc
Aztec Preschool – ECHO Inc
505-334-6135 322 N. Main Aztec, NM 87410 [email protected] Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
ECHO Aztec Preschool provides quality, affordable child care to the children of the Tri-City area in a caring environment that promotes school readiness and a lifetime love of learning.
The mission of the ECHO Aztec Preschool is to provide an affordable, caring, safe, secure learning environment for the children of our community.
Academically
Our curriculum promotes academic readiness for a smooth transition into the public school system’s learning environment. We provide activities that encourage readiness across the educational spectrum. Children get reading and language development based on the UNM TTAP 3 Star Guidelines, and they get an early start on STEM skills with an age-appropriate curriculum in mathematics, scientific discovery, technology, and computers. Various activities with different arts and craft media encourage the children’s creativity and imagination.
A well-rounded academic approach develops an appreciation for many things in life, such as music, arts, theatre, and science. We introduce the children to each of these areas so their understanding can grow with them into adulthood. Activities such as show and tell, interaction with the seniors in the area, and Library Day at the public library all promote this growth. We take many field trips throughout the year to places like the Aztec Ruins, the E3 Science Museum, and the Bolack’s Museum of Fish and Wildlife, to name a few.
We have 4 classrooms at our center that are split up by age. Classroom #1 serves ages 3-4, Classroom # 2 serves ages 2-3, Classroom #3 is our Pre-K class with ages 4-5 who will be attending kindergarten for the upcoming school year, and our Afternoon Adventures (Latch Key Program) with ages 5-12 years. Weekly lesson plans are created on classroom interest, TTAP 3 Star guidelines, and individual and overall classroom development needs.
Physically
Proper nutrition is one of the most important aspects of physical development for children. ECHO Aztec Preschool provides hot breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared on-site by a trained and qualified cook. ECHO began participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program over 21 years ago, and we meet or exceed, all government standards of nutrition. We have received numerous commendations for the quality of our menus.
Physical activity is another crucial part of physical development. And the children get plenty of active time to enjoy both outdoor and indoor learning center play each day. Many of our activities are designed to develop both large and small muscle groups and provide the proper exercise to ensure a healthy child.
Emotionally and Socially
The ECHO Aztec Preschool believes that a school environment is also a place where the children can receive the emotional nurturing and social instruction that will help them mature into loving, caring, responsible members of our community. Each child must learn to interact socially to become a responsible adult. Each child learns the importance of respecting others, respecting themselves, respecting property. We encourage self-confidence and the ability to express themselves, but also self-discipline and following directions.
We consider ourselves as a second family for our children, and our trained, caring staff are always ready to listen to a long weekend fishing story or learn about the latest addition to the child’s family in the form of a small kitten. We prioritize the joys, sorrows, and concerns of each child.
Our curriculum is designed to instill a passion for lifelong learning by showing the children that learning is fun! Preschool activities follow weekly lesson plans that focus on school readiness, early literacy skills, and critical thinking skills.
The Fall Session takes up seasonal themes while teaching the basic academics of colors, shapes, sizes, directions, music, and language along with developing the social skills of listening, sharing, and following directions.
The Spring Session continues in its school readiness quest with seasonal themes and the introduction of letters, numbers, name recognition, and word recognition. Computers are available to enhance their learning experience.
Each Summer Session has a special theme of its own with field trips, sports, games, plays, community movies, music, and library reading programs. Above all, summer sessions are full of fun activities and just the right amount of relaxation so the children are rested and ready for their ‘academic’ year to begin in the Fall.
Finding a safe, enriching environment where children can spend time after school is a significant concern for today’s busy parents. ECHO Aztec Preschool has added ECHO Afternoon Adventures for children ages 5-12. As the name implies, this afternoon program extends the “adventure” of learning into the afternoon. Afternoon Adventures works to fine-tune critical literary skills with activities like reading aloud and writing stories or plays to be performed for preschool children. Additionally, the program offers a variety of activities that promote life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, leadership, sportsmanship, and community service. The program provides transportation from the public schools to our facility. The children are greeted by our friendly, trained staff who have a nutritious snack waiting for this always-hungry group of kids. The children are offered quiet time, homework time, and activity time while waiting for their parents to pick them up after work.

Avobenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoyl Methane) – cosmetic ingredient, description and application

2020
Name INCI | Avobenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoyl Methane) |

Avobenzone was introduced in the 1990s and is a common chemical sunscreen. Unlike other chemical sunscreens that simply protect against sunburn-causing rays, avobenzone also protects against UVA rays, the rays that cause premature aging and skin cancer.
Avobenzone (butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane) is an organic material that helps reduce the amount of ultraviolet radiation that human skin is exposed to by absorbing and refracting the radiation and then recycling it. Avobenzone is one of the most common UVA filters in sunscreens but is known to be photostable. To help stabilize avobenzone, antioxidants such as vitamin C, E, and ubiquinone are used to complement avobenzone’s protective abilities.
Solar ultraviolet radiation consists of UVB (290-320 nm) and UVA (320-400 nm) wavelengths. Avobenzone sunscreen can provide true broad spectrum protection against UVA wavelengths greater than 360 nanometers. In its photostable state, avobenzone can retain its photoprotective properties as well as protect against the formation of reactive oxygen species that can cause photodegradation of skin care products.

Probably only the lazy did not reproach the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross for the fact that it undeservedly bears the name of the legendary ancestor – the Eclipse coupe, which we all remember well from the Fast and the Furious films. More knowledgeable in automotive design, people compared it with another legend – Pontiac Aztek. Add to this today’s Russian market with its chaotic pricing – what did we expect from the test of this small red crossover? There were absolutely no illusions. As it turned out, in vain.
Of course, just as you shouldn’t judge people by their appearance, you shouldn’t look at Eclipse skeptically either. This is the first acquaintance of the author with him – and, honestly, after many years of experience in testing premium cars that left the Russian market, and then their Chinese counterparts, there was no hope that he would impress. And he took and impressed.
Let’s start with appearance. According to Seiji Watanabe, CEO of Mitsubishi Design, the updated Eclipse Cross should be the first step towards the next generation of Mitsubishi’s visual language. The car now resembles the Mitsubishi e-Evolution concept car, in which the Japanese company showed off its “strategic brand directions” back at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.
Compared to the first generation crossover, the front end has changed a lot. A false grille with an unusual honeycomb structure appeared, the headlight blocks became more expressive, and although I am not a big supporter of the trend of dividing the headlights into two independent sections, it looks organic. Above the X-lines are daytime running lights and parking lights along with “turn signals”, and in the headlight block there are low and high beam lamps, “foglights” and a headlight washer.
The facelifted Eclipse is even easier to distinguish from the rear. Now there is a single glass on the escape door, instead of a complex double, separated by a spoiler, because of which the Eclipse evoked associations with the aforementioned Pontiac. They decided to remove the spoiler at the request of customers who complained about poor rear visibility, and this was the right decision – the rear part became more solid and sporty, chtoli.
The main feature in the cabin is the panoramic roof! It would seem that the usual, consisting of two sections. A sliding sunroof over the front seats, and a solid glass section over the passenger side. But you can open the curtains separately, for example, only above the back row, and passengers can do this with their own separate button.
Updated Mitsubishi Connect multimedia system with 8-inch screen is friendly with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The screen has become larger and “moved” closer to the driver, and stands separately according to the new design fashion. Multimedia is capable of playing video from USB, and you can give commands to it both with the buttons on the steering wheel and with your voice. It comes with an 8-speaker Mitsubishi Premium Sound audio system.
Surround cameras can be displayed on the multimedia screen. There are four of them, they form a good picture and, according to Mitsubishi tradition, are activated by a button on the steering wheel. This is especially handy when off-roading or curbside parking when you need to quickly switch from 3D to right front wheel view, for example.
Mitsubishi has clearly worked on comfort. The front seats have a good range of adjustments, the seat cushion is comfortable in length, and the shoulder rests of the backrest, the bolsters of the side support of the backrest and the cushion stop allow you to get less tired on the road. And it feels like the seats are designed for dynamic driving.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is equipped with two motors to choose from. Both produce 150 horsepower, but the first is a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 250 Nm, the second is a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated, which is already installed on the ASX and Outlander, with a torque of 198 Nm. This unit comes only with front-wheel drive, while the 1.5-liter is placed on the top version with all-wheel drive.
The samurai, as you know, has no goal, there is only a path. The Russian representative office of Mitsubishi does not expect huge sales, but they listen to customers and try to make the car more interesting for buyers by adding nice options, like a panoramic roof, and refuse those that can be called pampering: for example, from a projection display, in order to keep prices for reasonable level.
