Childtime of Gaithersburg to Offer Private Kindergarten for Local Families

Learning Care Group News: December 10th, 2010

GAITHERSBURG, Md., September 10, 2010 – Childtime Learning Center – a leader in early education and child care – is excited to announce that it will begin offering a Private Kindergarten class for local families. The school is located at 1199 Quince Orchard Blvd. in Gaithersburg.

The all-day kindergarten program will run from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will begin on September 20th, 2010. The class will meet – if not exceed – all state requirements for kindergarten, with a strong focus on mathematics and literacy skills. The teacher has all of the necessary state credentials and has more than 20 years of experience.

This Private Kindergarten will benefit children who thrive in a smaller learning environment, as the class is only open to 15 students. Children will receive more individualized attention and teachers can focus on the unique needs of each student.

The school will also be hosting a Private Kindergarten Open House on September 15th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.. This event is open to local families who are interested in learning more about the program. Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions about the curriculum, state standards and participate in a hands-on activity with their child.

“We are truly excited to begin offering our Private Kindergarten program, which was designed to introduce children to a formal education, while still encouraging exploration and discovery in a small, safe environment,” said Jaime Bowen, center director. “Further, it is a great option for working parents because the children can come in early and stay later as part of our before and after-school program … so families get their school and child care needs in one place!”

Childtime of Gaithersburg is currently accepting enrollments for its Private Kindergarten, however, space is limited. For more information or to schedule a tour, please call 301-948-2556.

What is the story behind Judah Friedlander’s trucker hats?

Arts & Entertainment, Film & TV Industry, Film, TV & Video, TV Shows & Programs / 30 Rock, Comedy, Frank Rossitano, Judea Friedlander, Stand Up, Tina Fey, Trucker Hats / August 29, 2021 / From

30 Rock, an early 2000s sitcom, spawned a bunch of interesting characters. The show was a satirical series created by the excellent Tina Fey. But we’re here to talk about the fun trucker hats designed by Judah Friedlander.

Judah Friedlander, who played Frank Rossitano in the comedy, made a statement about the trucker hats he wore on the show. He was able to create enough hats to wear a different one in every scene. That’s about three hats on the show!

Who is Judas Friedlander?

Judah Friedlander was born March 16, 1969 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. As a child, he showed a strange interest in political cartoons. He often drew such characters and even made cartoons.

Friedländer tried comedy at the age of 19 while attending New York University. He continued to perform several nights a week, even while working on 30 Rock. He loved stand-up comedy so much that he considers it his first true love and prefers it to screen acting. (Source: New York Times)

Friedländer has lived in New York for most of his adult life. He currently lives in Queens. He is active in the industry, his latest job is in 2020 (Source: IMDB)

Friedlander on 30 Rock

As most fans know, the sitcom is based on Tina Fey’s experience as a writer in the industry. Friedlander regularly starred in the sitcom Rock 30. He played Frank Rossitano, somewhat sarcastic, lazy and rather vulgar. According to Tina Fey, Friedlander’s character is actually inspired by two writers she worked with on Saturday Night Live.

Friedländer added personality to his character by having him wear different trucker hats with slogans. They ended up becoming a sitcom gag. You may not know that Friedländer makes these hats himself. He created enough to be able to wear a different hat for every scene his character was in. It was estimated that there were three hats on the show. (Source: Trib Live)

Things you didn’t know about Judas Friedländer

There is definitely more to Friedländer than meets the eye. Here is a list of things you should know about the comedic genius.

He finds stand-up comedy relaxing.

Whenever Friedlander feels stressed or wants to relax, he goes out and stands up. He even recorded several concerts overnight.

He only met Tina Fey when he auditioned for 30 Rock

Most people think the couple were friends long before the show started. Although the comedian has always been a fan of Fey, he never met her before the show.

He likes to play ping-pong and football

Friedländer loves ping-pong and football, so he often promotes these sports. Especially ping-pong, because in the USA it is not appreciated.

Contrary to what most people think, he doesn’t live in the trendy neighborhood.

Even though he can afford to live in the posh neighborhood, Friedländer prefers to live in the blue collar neighborhood of Queens. He believes in reality.

He loves New York

Friedlander loves New York, who drives around the city every single day. In fact, it’s much easier for him to find parking in New York than in Los Angeles. The trip allows him to visit different clubs in one night. (Source: Hollywood Reporter)
