Notes from past and current clients:
Jaime,
I typically don’t do this, but I really wanted to thank you and Nicki for everything you have done for Kiersten & Kameron. We have watched our kids grow and learn from both of you
more than we could ever imagine. You are the standard that all child care centers(home or stand alone) should adhere to. You both are compassionate, caring, and take care of our children like they
are your own. I can assure you that anybody looking for childcare we will make sure and send your way. You have been more than a babysitter for our children and for that we can’t thank you
enough.
Jeff
As a first time mom, I couldn’t have been more stressed over selecting a day care for
my little girl. From the very first time that I entered Kids Korner and met Jaime and Nikki, I knew this was the place for us. I can honestly say that after 3 years of being at Kids
Korner, my choice to send my little girl here has been validated almost daily. I am truly amazed at all my 3 year old knows – sight words, Spanish, manners, songs….I could go on and on.
Not only do I feel that my little one is getting a top notch education, she is getting love. It warms my heart every day to see the genuine love they have for her. These ladies show so
much love for not only my little girl, but also my entire family. I don’t consider Kids Korner a babysitter/day care/pre-school, I consider them an extension of my family. Since I can’t
be home with my little girl every day, there is no place I would rather her be than Kids Korner. These ladies do what they do because they love it and love the kids.

3rd Grade Vocabulary Game Ideas
There are tons of simple games you can play to build vocabulary with children in third grade. Try to think outside of the box and use games that 9-11 year olds will really enjoy.
Vocab Musical Chairs
Play a unique game of musical chairs without the music.
Set up chairs in a circle so you have one chair for all but one student.
Kids will walk around the chairs while you read vocab words.
Instead of playing music, read off a list of vocabulary words.
When you say a word that isn’t from your class vocabulary list, kids have to sit down in a chair.
The person who doesn’t get a chair is out.
Remove one chair from the game and continue.
The last child sitting is the winner.
Vocabulary Sentence Race
If you’re working with only one student, challenge them to a vocab sentence race. The objective is to use as many vocabulary words properly in sentences as you can.
Split your vocabulary list into groups of ten words.
For the first list, start by saying “I can use X number of vocabulary words in separate sentences. ”
Both people take turns saying how many of those 10 vocabulary words they can use in separate sentences within one minute.
When one person feels like the other won’t be able to do what they say, this person says “Go ahead, use those words in sentences.”
Start the timer and the challenged player has one minute to use the number of vocabulary words they said they could use, each in a different sentence.
If the challenged person uses the right number of words in proper sentences before time is up, they get a point.
Each round is played the same, but uses a different list of 10 vocabulary words.

Vocabulary Scavenger Hunt
Use your vocabulary list as a scavenger hunt list. Head out on a walk around school or your town and try to find examples of each vocabulary word as you walk. If you find all the items on the list, you win.
Play With Words
This vocabulary list may only get you through a few weeks of vocabulary lessons in third grade depending on how many words you explore in a week. Continue building your 3rd grader’s vocabulary with 3rd grade high frequency words or fun vocabulary group games.
The Basic Spelling Vocabulary List
This list was devised to help educators know which spelling words should be taught to children. The list contains 850 words that account for 80 percent of the words children use in their writing — the ones they need to be able to spell correctly.
Mastering this relatively small corpus of words yields a high rate of return. For example, the most common 1,000 words are used 13 times more frequently than the next most common 1,000 words. It also provides teachers flexibility in planning spelling instruction, providing an opportunity to give children the “basics” while supplementing with other spelling words germane to classroom activities.
Grade level for each word was determined based upon difficulty, pattern of occurrence in children’s writing across grades, and grade placement on current vocabulary lists and spelling materials.
Words that children have difficulty spelling correctly are marked with an asterisk.

Project Spelling Dictionary for Grade 3 in Russian
Hello friends! It’s winter on the calendar, it’s cold outside, but on our blog it’s warm and cozy. Come visit, feel at home.
Today we are not doing nonsense here. Today we are doing a spelling dictionary project. We are trying to feel at least a little like the Ozhegovs and the Dahls.
Let’s see what our favorite Russian language textbook tells us about this work.
Lesson plan:
From the pages of the textbook
So, this is what we see on page 142.
And a funny poem there are, and the questions are different and the actual task that needs to be completed.
The compilers of the textbook for the 3rd grade of the School of Russia invite children to look at the table of contents and remember the rules of the Russian language that they have already learned.
And then choose one of the rules and make your own dictionary for this rule.
Well, the task is clear! And what rules have the kids already learned?
Learned rules
During the first half of the third grade, our little students have already learned a lot. We will not list everything, we will take only the main ones.
Now our children know how to write words with unstressed vowels in the root.
Moreover, those words in which unstressed vowels can be checked.
And those in which it is impossible.
Words that have deaf and voiced (paired) consonants in their roots are also studied in the lessons.
And there are also words in which there is a letter, but no sound. These are difficult words with an unpronounceable consonant at the root. And they have already passed.
The spelling of words with doubled consonants is also not a new topic.
As well as a dividing solid sign after prefixes.
In total, we get six topics, for each of which we can make a separate dictionary.
Now you need to choose one.
We decided to focus on the spelling of words with unstressed vowels in the root, which can be checked. That is, we will not take dictionary words like “orange” or “hare” into our dictionary.
Planning the work
Let’s read the task from the textbook carefully again.
Based on the task, we draw up an action plan.
Select a rule.
Find words with spelling for this rule.
Write the words alphabetically.
Underline the spelling in the words.
Before we put our plan into action, let’s find some answers.
For example, what does it mean to underline the spelling? What is a spelling anyway?
Let’s turn to Greek.
“orthos” means “correct”
“gramma” means “letter”.
It turns out – the “correct letter”.
A spelling is a spelling in a word that corresponds to a spelling rule.
To put it even more simply, this is the very part of the word in which it is easy and simple to make a mistake.
The picture below shows examples of spellings for the rules of the Russian language listed above.
Orthograms in words are highlighted in red.
Spelling is clear.
Next question. How many words per selected rule should you include in your vocabulary?
Not specified. So, at our discretion.
Another question. Are there any requirements for the design of the finished spelling dictionary? They are not in the textbook. So, you can come up with it yourself, unless, of course, the teacher gave specific instructions on this matter.
Our teacher gave us freedom in this matter. For which many thanks to him.
An example of a finished project “Spelling Dictionary”
So, we already have an action plan.
Recall that it looks like this.
Item one completed. The rule is selected. These will be words that have unstressed vowels in their roots, which can be checked by choosing the right test words.
According to the second point of the plan, it is necessary to choose words for our dictionary.
We chose these.
Now you need to write down these words and highlight the spellings in them. And since unstressed vowels in our words can be checked, we decided to write down the test words at the same time.
One could go the easy way, take a blank sheet of paper, colored pens or markers and do something like this.
But we decided to do something more interesting.
As a result, a small beautiful book was created.
This is what the cover looks like.
The theme of the project and the name of the dictionary compiler are written on it.
The first two pages provide answers to questions posed by the compilers of the textbook on the Russian language.
On page 3 we indicated the rule that we chose for our dictionary.
And on the fourth we actually have the rule itself. It was taken from the textbook in its entirety.
The dictionary itself starts from page number 5. Here we have six words with highlighted spellings and test words for them.
The next one has six more words.
Please note that we have arranged all the words in alphabetical order.
It seems like all the tasks have been completed. But! I wanted to add something else that could decorate our book and at the same time correspond to the theme of the work.
And we picked up proverbs and sayings that contain words with spellings for the chosen rule.
These proverbs and sayings are placed on the next two pages.
Now our spelling dictionary is complete!
It remains only to present it in the class.
And we don’t mind at all if you take our project design idea as a model.
Project template
SchoolLa on guard of parental time and nerves.
Friends, we are pleased to announce that we have ready-made templates for the Spelling Dictionary book project.
You don’t have to surf the dictionaries and the Internet looking for the right words.

Is La Venture Middle School a charter school? ?What is a Charter School? A charter school in the US is a publicly funded school that operates independently of the traditional public school system. It is established under a “charter” granted by a local or state government agency, which allows the school to operate with greater autonomy and flexibility. Charter schools have the freedom to design their own curriculum, teaching methods, and educational approaches within the guidelines set by their charter. They are open to all students, free of charge, and are funded with public tax dollars. However, they often have limited enrollment capacity and may use a lottery system for admission. Charter schools are accountable for meeting specific academic, financial, and operational standards outlined in their charter, and they are subject to oversight by the granting authority.:

Families love the balance of nurturing care and milestone development in this program. In a warm, safe, stimulating classroom, children have a primary caregiver to attend to their needs. Plus, our exclusive, milestone-focused curriculum, Learn from the Start™, was developed by our educational experts to focus on key developmental milestones specific to infants. We emphasize each child’s development, rather than specific age, because all children grow and learn at their own pace, and in their own unique way. We’re also here when you need us. Ask your school about flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule.

Four of us went – father, mother, children – 4 and 5 years old. We arrived closer to nine, stopped right away – we were given a villa in the garden (without any rewards). Luggage helped carry a pleasant, unobtrusive porter. We left our things, hurried to the restaurant for dinner, as it was about to close. While I was collecting food for the children, the cooks themselves put hot food on a plate for us and brought it, the restaurant should have closed by now, but no one was in a hurry. Someone brought sweets and fruits. Then we returned to the room. Separately about him: the hotel consists of a main 5-storey building and 3-storey villas in a palm garden. We got a room on the first floor. The room had two separate beds and a bunk bed for children, a plasma TV, a refrigerator, which was replenished daily with water and soda, a safe (free of charge), a bath (full bath, toilet and sink), carpet on the floor, a telephone in the room and bathroom, an air conditioning system – a thermostat on the wall, due to which the temperature is regulated, i. e. nothing blows. An interesting system of electricity – a magnetic sensor is attached to the key, which you need to insert into the niche when you enter the room, only then you can turn on the light and TV, and when you exit, you can not turn anything off, just go out, take it out of the niche and the light is cut off in a minute. Separately, about the cuisine – it is amazing, both for spicy lovers and for dieters. In the morning – cheeses, a large selection of buns, jams, jams, eggs, oils, sausages, pancakes, scrambled eggs, etc., in the afternoon – salads, sauces, meat, fish, chicken. For children and the elderly, there are always boiled and steamed foods – rice, pasta, carrots, vegetables, etc. Dinner – everything for lunch but twice as much choice – ribs, barbecue, etc. And lots and lots of fruits. Coffee vending machines, herbal teas. And the choice of sweets is a difficult question, there are both Turkish and European sweets. About vacationers: at 90% – middle-aged Germans, 5-6% – Turks, the rest are Russians. There is a kids club, but no one speaks Russian, the animation is also in German-Turkish-English, but despite this, the children walked and danced. The animation is very interesting – while we were relaxing there, a national ensemble performed, a theatrical performance dedicated to the memory of Michael Jackson took place. Lots of special effects are used. Animators come up to the table during dinner and invite you to the performance. It takes about five minutes to go to the sea, the path runs through a palm grove – an awesome place, there is a water park of three slides, the children were delighted. About the pool – we preferred to go to the pool of the neighboring Miramar Beach Hotel (this is possible), since the water was warmer there (because of the children), it was deeper – the children jumped into the water, there were fewer people. The sea is simply no words, the beach is clean sand, the entrance is clean sand, in early September the water is warm, the shallow water is very long, ideal for children.

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Yulee KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5-12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3-12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it. )

“Kindergarten and school can be PPP”
Investment conditions and nominal rents, city donations and project value buyouts, investment liability registers and developer social participation funds. The history of the relationship between the city, which is trying to eliminate the shortage of social infrastructure facilities in new areas, and developers who have to build these facilities at their own expense, in terms of intensity of passions and ingenuity of the parties, is comparable to the confrontation between the most worthy houses of Verona. It is noteworthy that in both cases children suffer.
The paradox of this strange war is the complete coincidence of interests of both sides. The absence of schools and kindergartens equally harms both the city authorities, who, as it turns out, do not fulfill their direct functions, and developers, who are forced to sell apartments in undeveloped areas at reduced prices. In the longer term, the lack of infrastructure leads to a general decline in the quality of the urban environment and the transformation of the outskirts into a “ghetto”.
As a rule, budgetary constraints, as well as the lack of transparent rules for determining the scope of obligations of the parties, are cited as the main cause of problems. The development of legislation on shared construction, in turn, demonstrates the need to find new ways to solve the problem. So, the opportunity that appeared for builders in 2016 to direct the funds of equity holders to create social infrastructure is now significantly limited – by the obligation to transfer such objects to the city’s ownership free of charge or the emergence of a common shared ownership of the residents of the new quarter.
The way out in this situation may be to separate the construction of social facilities into a separate project and transfer it to a new design company. The application of the principles of project financing is becoming a practically uncontested practice for all developers, and this mechanism has long been successfully used in public-private partnership projects.
Kindergartens, schools, clinics, as well as sports and recreation centers, parks and access roads – all these objects can be independent objects of agreements between a private investor and the city administration. It is the forms of PPP that are becoming the most flexible and popular mechanism for the development of the urban environment in new areas on the terms of mutually beneficial cooperation between the authorities and developers. At the same time, the city receives ready-made social facilities and the reduction or installment plan of budget expenditures, and the private partner receives the trust of potential apartment buyers.
Additional arguments in favor of PPP are a transparent procedure for concluding agreements, the possibility of maintaining educational or medical activities outside the city, stable judicial practice, as well as zero reserve rates for attracted loans.

Hint for the investor. The authorities of the Leningrad region explained where the hotels should be built
The authorities of the Leningrad region have analyzed the tourism potential of the region and drawn up a diagram showing where investments in infrastructure will pay off the fastest. Novy Prospekt asked market participants about the current situation in the industry.
More and more in today’s world both parents have employment and need suitable day care centers for their children. These early stages in a child’s life are very important to their growth and development. Choosing a good child day care center is vital, one where the adult won’t just plunk your children down in front of a soap opera all day and feed them Top Ramen. You should look for day care centers that provide learning programs and playtime for your child, along with a safe and healthy environment.
There are many different types of day care centers, ranging from basic nurseries to preschools that will provide more of a learning environment for your children. Some day care centers specialize in a specific age range, while others are more open. When you’re contemplating placing your child in a specific day care center, you should visit each one with your child. In this way, you can see how your child reacts to the other children who are there and to the caregiver. You want your child to be happy and comfortable.
While some day care centers provide a greater variety of activities than others, any good day care center is going to encourage positive interaction among all of the children. They will also have rules that promote good behavior, learning, manners, and child development. You certainly don’t want to have to worry that your child is going to develop bad habits from day care.

While you don’t need to go overboard in choosing suitable day care centers, you should approach the subject seriously and with thought. Your child is going to be spending a good-sized portion of his or her life in day cares and you want to make sure it is going to be a positive experience. Family is the most important thing in the world and you should make sure that your children are your first priority. When you are considering a day care center, you should look at where it is located and how much it costs. There’s not much sense in putting your son or daughter in daycare so that you can work full time and spending most of what you earn on the day care center’s tuitions and your travel expenses. If that’s the case, you might as well stay home with your child. However, if you do truly need the money, there are usually plenty of day care services available and it shouldn’t be too difficult to find one close by that is reasonably priced.
Different Kinds of Child day Care Centers
While child day care centers are common, there is such a huge demand for this service that there are now quite a variety of options available other than basic day care. These include the following:
Home child care or family childcare
Child care services
Preschool
Nursery
Home child care tends to be the most popular option because it is generally more affordable and a smaller environment. While some day care centers are quite large and can provide better early childhood education, it is also more difficult for each child to receive personal attention. Day care centers that are based out of someone’s home are usually more personal and your child can receive more care and nurturing. Most parents want their children to be receiving love and affection, the care that they themselves would give them. They don’t want a day care business that is merely going to make sure that their child is still alive and adequately healthy.
Home child care providers are also more adaptable, generally speaking. This means that if your child likes a certain song sung to them before they take their nap each day, the home care provider is more likely to be willing to do that than someone in a larger day care facility. Most adult home child care providers are parents themselves, making them better able to understand and love your child.
Other Things to Think About
One of the first steps you should take after picking out a family day care center that you think will be suitable for your child is do a little investigating. This can involve talking to the parents of the other children that use the child day care center to see what they think about it. You should also always check to make sure the child care service you are considering is legally licensed to operate in your state. Licensing officials check criminal records and ensure that the child care provider has emergency response training and a safe and healthy environment for the children. As mentioned earlier, it is a good idea to visit the child day care center that you are considering. You should do this at least a couple of times, and try to go at different times of the day so that you can get a better idea of what kind of schedule they have. This will help you to see how your own child would fit in. If you are having difficulties finding the appropriate child care environment for your son or daughter, there are some other options. Some people get family and friends to help out, while others hire a nanny. Adult nannies are a good option because they ensure that your child receives personal attention and quality child care. However, this also means that your child will not receive as much social interaction since he or she won’t have other children to play with like in a family day care center.
No matter what option you decide to go with, make sure that you know who you are leaving your child with. Meet them, get to know them, and let your child do the same. Do some research on the internet to make sure that no one has had negative experiences with the day care center you are considering. Check to make sure that they are legally licensed. Once you have done all of this, you can feel more confident and secure in knowing that you have chosen the right day care center for your child.
Switching Day Care Centers
Choosing Another Child Care Provider
So you want to switch day care providers for your kids but you don’t know where to start or what to choose among the plethora of options out there in this world. It is fittingly one of the most important decisions of a young parent’s journey due to the fact that a child’s first formative years up until the age of six is critical. It is important for parents to not just consider the monetary impact of these choices but also the emotional, intellectual, and social future impacts the choice of a day care provider will have on their kids in the long term future. So let’s discuss some general tips to consider for the parent and the child to consider when one is looking to switch day care providers within a short time frame.
First, you must consider the cost of attending some of the more prestigious and rigorous day care provider centers in your area. In some areas, let’s face the reality that the more money per month per child spent; the better the facilities and the educational value experience offered for your child. Things such as using smart boards and I Pad’s to enhance the learning experience is a very real possibility in these places. However, if a parent is budget conscious they can still afford this experience but it would mean cutting back on all or most non-necessity spending. This would include curbing your eating out habits as well as any leisure entertainment or travel activity and place that money instead into your child’s future day care home. If an expensive day care sees that you are making an effort to keep up with the payments; then they will be more willing to work with you and not let your child leave that place. For a child going to this environment, they need to consider whether or not they will fit into this environment, things like playtime, feeding time, and individual care of the staff- is it received well by the child? These will make the difference between choosing these ones or a cheaper alternative. Cheaper is not all bad if the quality and availability of care is there for your child in the first place.
Secondly, you need to consider your travel times and distance of day care relative to your work and other important places like the hospital, grocery store, bank, and places that you frequent on a daily basis. Is it near enough that you can get to your child should he/she become ill or need special attention so that the day care center can contact you and arrange a meeting with you the same day if needed.
Furthermore, you need to consider the overall cleanliness and friendliness of the day care center provider. Do not underestimate a clean environment for your kid to play and learn in with other kids. Your kid will enjoy making new friends in a clean and safe environment. Plus you as a parent will enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that your child will not be being home any unwanted germs and diseases into your house. Parents must also consider if there is a dispute over payment and care; how does the management and staff deal with such requests? If there is a lackadaisical approach to your core issues; then that is a bad prelude of things to come concerning your child’s care. Your child will probably feel like he/she is being neglected or not fed on time and will start to complain to you ever so slightly that something is not right. When they do, do not hesitate to take them out of that day care center and find another one immediately.
In a recessionary economy, it is okay and permissible for both parents and kids to demand the best care for their dollar. Make your day care dollar stretch by reading all of the material and brochures and visiting every day center on your list until you find that perfect fit for your child. It’s out there; it is just waiting on you to find it!
Child Care Options for Low Income Families
One of the most frustrating aspects of being a working citizen is not having the ability to afford childcare. The majority of day care facilities charge as much as $300 per week for each child. That amount is difficult for middle-class citizens to pay. Low-income families cannot fathom paying such an expense. Luckily, the government and the various states have developed programs that help low-income families get the childcare they deserve. The following is some information on those programs:
Extended Day Program
The extended day program can assist low-income working parents during the regular school year. Many school districts offer this program. The school keeps children before and after school hours for a small monthly fee. A parent can drop a child off as early as 7:00 a.m. and pick the child up as late as 6:00 p.m. This program is excellent for low-income workers with daytime weekday jobs. The cost is approximately $150 per month for before and after school. The weekly rate is approximately $37.50, which is extremely competitive.
The attendants participate in various activities with the children before and after school. They help the children with their homework so that the parents have less stress when they come home from work. They give the children a full breakfast in the morning program and a snack in the evening program. Parents can opt to pay for the morning program only, the evening program only, or both programs. The evening program is the more expensive of the two because it lasts so many hours after the school releases the children. The evening program is $100 while the morning program is $52.
The Child Care Assistance Program
CCAP is a special program that provides childcare assistance to certain low-income families. People who are collecting TANF are automatically eligible to receive this assistance. Teenage parents who are working on obtaining their educations are also eligible for CCAP. Those who are not collecting TANF can still qualify if they are pursuing education that will improve their work skills and job opportunities. Parents can apply for CCAP assistance with the Department of Children & Family Services. The financial guidelines for qualification are along the lines of a $3,000 per month income threshold for a four-person family. The applicant must have proof of income, social security cards, birth certificates, and immunization records for all children. Application processing can take up to 30 days.
Head Start
Head start is a program for children between the ages of three and five. The program provides childcare services and medical services to the children who qualify. It is funded by the Administration of Children’s Services. The Head Start program covers childcare from 7 a. m. to 5 p.m. Teachers work with the children to fine-tune their social and developmental skills. Those who are interested in the program may apply online. Applicants go on a waitlist until there is an available slot in the program. It is best for an interested person to complete an application as quickly as possible since the wait may be extended.
Child Care Voucher Program
The Child Care Voucher Program is in effect in many states throughout the United States. It provides a subsidy of up to 95 percent of childcare cost to low-income families. Subsidy recipients will choose an eligible provider from the list of licensed providers. They may also select a relative or an in-home provider. The Child Care Voucher Program covers the childcare from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. This is known as the traditional childcare period. However, the program also covers non-traditional times for parents who work odd shifts. It covers nights, weekends, and evenings.

“I just wanted to thank everyone at ASAS for what they do for students. I participated in The Inner-City Games as a child and still have a lot of fond memories. I’m happy children still have this opportunity and it’s very rewarding to be able to give back as an instructor now.”
-Daniela Muneton Instructor at Wynn Elementary School
Our Program
When the dismissal bell rings at 31 Title-I schools in the Las Vegas Valley, our All-Stars make their way to their academic classes. A student struggling with his math homework gets support from a licensed teacher. She is able to check-in with him the following school day to see how he is doing. In another class, youth work in small groups together to finish an English assignment.
After getting their homework out of the way, youth are ready to go to to their enrichment class. A student in STEM is learns how to code and design her dream video game, while down the hall her friend plays the guitar for the first time. Applause roars from another classroom where students have mastered a dance routine.
On the weekend, a group of All-Stars connects their in-classroom learning about conserving public lands with a hike through Red Rock Canyon. Another busload of students can be seen on T-Mobile Arena’s jumbotron, jumping up and down in their orange All-Star shirts as they cheer on the Vegas Golden Knights.
All the while, our All-Stars are kept safe and are given the opportunity to develop skills, build mastery, and achieve in school and in life.

First of all, I want to thank you that thanks to you I got a job at Anex Tour, I really like the company, I want to continue working and build a career in this company) I ended up on the Aegean coast, Bodrum region. To be honest, I fell in love with this city and the atmosphere, I didn’t even think that I would like it so much in Turkey. The first month I worked as a transfer guide. Responsibilities included meeting guests at the airport and escorting them to hotels, talking about the transfer along the way (about the country and region, weather, currency, information meeting, sights, excursions), as well as the return hotel-airport transfer (she told about the departure and nuances). Several times during this time I went on excursions with guests as an accompanying guide, at the same time I fell in love with the work of excursion guides, I realized that I really want to achieve this. And after a while I succeeded, I was promoted to a tour guide. Now I am in love with my work even more, because on excursions I am even more charged and I get a lot of positive emotions from the guests.
Good afternoon! wanted to share my experience with you I came here under your program for half a year, but in the end, everyone liked me and kept me in the staff, they already extended my work visa for a year and signed a new contract Thank you ??
I must say right away that without knowing the language (Turkish) I am the first here in the entire history of the hotel. There is nothing to do without the language, I study it here, because they communicate with me purely in Turkish, sometimes they switch to English when I don’t understand anything at all. I take orders for cocktails, order cocktails from bartenders and serve them to guests, clear tables.
Everything is generally good, the school is excellent, the teachers are super, only it is located, as it were, in the countryside, it takes about 15 minutes to drive – but the teachers pick me up and take me away, I never even had to use the bus. I rented an apartment for 6.5k baht, but this is a condo with a pool, gym, etc.

I’m afraid my experience will be of little use to you, because I’m an enthusiastic naive kid. My story to friends horrified them, although the whole story was filled with iridescent colors of happiness. I liked everything. I was in paradise. The best country in the world with the best people. Now to the facts. Job. They worked 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, salary 110 crowns per hour. It’s hard for some, but not for me. I increased my earnings in relation to Russia six times. Paradise. Specialty: carpenter. There was no education or experience. Got used to it quickly.
It was very difficult to find a responsible agency for the one-year internship USA, even being a resident of Moscow. After half a year of searches and indistinct answers from the “top” agencies (according to their own website), the impression is that people in this area do not understand at all what they are doing and what responsibility they have. Suddenly, I accidentally stumbled upon the Student agency, located in Kaliningrad, and wrote to them. It was the best decision! They explain everything very well, they don’t serve breakfast, there are no incomprehensible payments and commissions, everything is very clear and transparent. I was able to do it remotely with no problem. Special thanks to Vitalina, who throughout the entire process (from registration, choosing a job, visa interview and the internship itself) was always in touch and helped with all sorts of questions and problems. Thank you for making 2020 the best year for me!
Good afternoon) Yes, so far everything is fine, I worked for 4 days. I work in a clothing warehouse, I work with a scanner, I pack in boxes, the housing is normal, a room for 4 people, my own shower, toilet, but there is no Wi-Fi, refrigerators – they promise to do it.

Recruitment for the vacancies of the transfer of guides and hotel staff for the 2023 season to Turkey is open!
List of programs that operate during COVID-19
Hello everyone =)
It’s been more than a month since I left Kaliningrad to work on the cruise liner Carnival Ecstasy (I’ll leave the name especially for googlers). The Internet is very tight here, I practically do not use it, at the moment, to write this post, I’m sitting on the Internet in the Charleston library.
When I got to the last airport (Kaliningrad-Moscow-Amsterdam-Atlanta-Charleston), I went to the bus stop (around 22-23) and asked where the employees were being picked up, found out where and went to wait. There I met a guy, he was also waiting for the bus. It turned out that he was also from Kaliningrad, but recently he lived in St. Petersburg. Then, after waiting for the bus, we went to the hotel, there were other employees with us, almost all 35+, mostly officers. Having settled in a hotel, we met 4 more guys from Kyrgyzstan there, they arrived at the same vacancy on the same ship. We ended up on it the next day at 12 noon.
In the summer of 2019, I went to work in Germany under the Student Agency program for 3 months. At the end of February, I wrote to the manager for the first time and June 17 was my first working day. I ended up in an eco-hotel in the small but very beautiful village of Burg, an hour and a half drive from Berlin. I worked 8 hours a day as a waitress in a restaurant at this hotel for breakfast. I traveled without knowledge of German at all, but this was not a problem, because all I had to do in work was to greet the guests and ask what room they were from).
I ended up in a quiet place on the coast of the Baltic Sea, a tourist town with a permanent population of about 2 thousand people (during the swimming season the population increases many times). We were very lucky with the employer, he provided both accommodation and two meals a day in his restaurant, for all this he took from us about 350 euros per month (I think this is divine). The salary was about 1k euros net on hand (of course I would like more)))
Work in Germany under the work and travel program is a good option to improve your level of not only German, but also many other languages. Despite the fact that work is also the main goal, it is possible to travel around Europe. I can say that this is a great experience that will definitely teach you how to cope with many difficulties.
My review will be useful for those guys who have already traveled to the USA and want to work in another country, or for those who are afraid to fly overseas! GO TO GERMANY, YOU WILL NOT REGRET!
It so happened that this summer I was lucky enough to be one of the first to try the W&T Germany program without knowing German. I found a vacancy for a maid in a 4 * hotel in a small resort town on the Elbe (Hitzaker). Of course, I didn’t really want to work as a maid, and even in the middle of nowhere, but I decided to venture on such an adventure and did not regret a single second. Before this trip, I had been to Germany many times, but all this can be safely forgotten, since living in the country is a completely different experience!
This summer I went to work in Germany. From cooperation with Student Agency, only a positive impression remained: the girls were always in touch, quickly and patiently answered all questions. Unfortunately, in this program, the student agency is only an intermediary, so much is simply beyond its power. I worked in a cafe on the autobahn, the work is generally normal, we lived in a hotel, the conditions are good, two minutes from work. The only negative is the lack of a washing machine. In general, I liked the program, I met wonderful people 🙂
First of all, I want to say a big thank you to the Student Agency team for such a great opportunity to visit new places, unfamiliar to the country. And of course, for always helping with the design and answering all questions. This trip was a great experience for me. I understand that life in Germany changed me, tempered me. Now it’s easier to look at some questions, it’s easier to find contact with people and I feel more confident.
Hello everyone, and here is my review of working in Germany. I’ll start with the fact that upon arrival the curator could not meet me, since he was on shift at that time, but it doesn’t matter, what matters is that in the apartment in which we lived eight of us there were no normal conditions, the conditions were for 4-5 people.

FAQs
AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Woodridge South KinderCare Programs
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5-12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
(Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.
Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!
A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.
Family Stories
Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
I just love the environment. Everyone is so friendly, so it makes me feel comfortable. My child loves coming here each and every day.
Michele – KinderCare Parent
My daughter has been with KinderCare since she was seven weeks in age. It was very hard for me to leave her at first. I can honestly say that I’m very impressed with the Infant teachers and I feel more than comfortable leaving her with them. When I pick my daughter up she is always happy and laughing. She is now nine months old and has really demonstrated how much she has learned from her teachers. I would recommend everyone to put their children in this KinderCare”
Robert – KinderCare Parent
My son is about to start Kindergarten this fall. His teacher has prepared him with all the necessities he needs, plus more. He knows how to spell and write his name. Thank you so much Woodridge KinderCare for all that you do!
Christy – KinderCare Parent
I am a very happy parent of a Toddler that goes to the Woodridge KinderCare. The teachers show her so much love and this reassures me that she is in safe care when I’m not present. Her social and behavior skills have done a complete 360 since enrolling her in KinderCare four months ago. She is working on her numbers and alphabet. I see constant growth and I can thank her teachers for that. Thank You!

The Gardena Family Child Care Program (GFCC) is a State funded Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) providing quality subsidized child care services for families who live, work, or attend school/training in Gardena. GFCC was established in 1976 in response to the unmet child care needs of the community. By contracting with licensed family child care providers, the program provides educational child care and development services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
Families in need of child care services
The Gardena Family Care Program (GFCC) provides child care and development services at low or no cost, depending on family income and size, to low income families who are seeking employment, attending school/training, or working. Care is provided to children ages 0 to 12 years in licensed family child care provider homes throughout Gardena and bordering cities.
The GFCC Program provides quality care that includes nutritious meals and snacks, a safe and healthy indoor and outdoor area that is conducive to learning, a variety of age appropriate activities, and an innovative curriculum that addresses the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical needs of children.
For more information or to be placed on the waiting list, call (310) 217-6115 or email [email protected].

Licensed Providers interested in joining GFCC’s FCCHEN
The City of Gardena Family Child Care Program (GFCC) contracts with licensed family child care providers who offer a quality program and provide a variety of learning experiences that promote children’s growth and development in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment. The indoor area must have ample space for children’s activities and learning and an enclosed outdoor area is required. GFCC is looking for providers who are professional, caring, nurturing, and understand how children grow and develop. GFCC staff work closely with providers in the network and offer technical assistance and information with such items as curriculum, child care environment, behavioral problems, and developmental and age-appropriate practices. Additionally, dependent upon funding, there is a toy and equipment lending library available to GFCC providers.
For more information or to apply to be part of the GFCC Network, call (310) 217-9588, email [email protected], or review the information and application in the link below. GFCC contracts with providers who live in Gardena and in some areas of zip codes 90504 (Torrance), 90250 (Hawthorne) and 90260 (Lawndale).
Gardena Family Child Care Program Provider Network
The program will be ending effective Thursday, August 31, 2023, we will no longer be accepting new families or providers to the program. We want to thank our current providers for their service to our community.

Kindergartens in Saskatchewan – personal experience
Canadian Life
0 3038
In Saskatchewan (Canada), as much as 2 dollars a day per child is spent in kindergarten – I know this for sure. Yes, the food is bad. The educators themselves cook quickly, not all kindergartens have cooks. We have 45 children, no cook. I work in a kindergarten and we have money deducted from our salary for food, but I bring my own food to work. The food is not that tasteless, it is corny unhealthy very often.
There are 2 toilet bowls for 45 children, and at the previous place of work there was only one for 30 children. And there is only one pot for the little ones, the children stood in line. But what’s with the toilets? There are so many different problems that one can only dream of a toilet for staff… Although some kindergartens have a separate toilet for teachers, I do not argue.
Not every garden has its own yard or playground, and if it does, it can be 2 meters by one and a half aviary for poultry.
Many kindergartens are not clean at all. There are no cleaners in the state. Educators clean themselves, take out the garbage themselves. Somewhere with this it is strict and the floor is washed every day as it should be, and in other kindergartens the floor is washed once a week anyhow. Windows may not be washed for a year, but what? And so there is no time.
Yes, sick children are brought in. Yes, we give children antibiotics in the kindergarten. No, you can’t check the children’s heads for the fact that there may be lice. It degrades the dignity of the child. We still find lice from time to time. Yes, there were quite recently children with severe bronchitis, and even with pneumonia. Children, when they get sick, are kept at home for a day, after 24 hours on antibiotics they are taken to kindergarten. You have to work, there is nowhere to put the child.
I’d rather not say anything about the education of teachers. There are, of course, with education, and many of them barely pulled out a couple of courses with their weak English, got a crust and work without understanding elementary things in the field of preschool education. There are many immigrant women who like to quietly talk about how children can be beaten in their countries of origin and put forward clever theories that Canadians are afraid to beat children so that they don’t send them to a nursing home in their old age.
And Canadian educators, for the most part, do not shine with great intelligence, to put it mildly. Sometimes the simplest words in the native language cannot be written without errors or do simple mathematical operations. Although this is not surprising, with a salary, there are not so many educators among educated Canadians who want to work in kindergarten. Although there are, of course, smart workers.
I’m talking about licensed kindergartens, the work of which is regulated by the Ministry of Education. In unlicensed children often stupidly watch cartoons all day long, but such a kindergarten also costs at least 500 dollars a month. And maybe 20 children of different ages per adult.

Madina Makhutova from the Mangistau region was one of the first in her region to open an unusual kindergarten. She came to this idea thanks to her child. After five in vitro fertilization procedures in 2015, her son was born, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy by doctors. Faced with the difficulties of undergoing rehabilitation, she learned that there are many such children in the region – 254 children of preschool age were registered in neurology in 2019.
– My life literally turned into an endless struggle for my son’s health. In our hometown, we visited all available treatment centers, once every three months we went to rehabilitation centers in the CIS. Being once again on rehabilitation in Chelyabinsk, I learned from the parents of special children that their babies with cerebral palsy attend kindergarten. I really wanted my son and other children from our city to also have such an opportunity, – says Madina Makhutova.
I already had experience in organizing the work of a preschool institution. Madina is an entrepreneur, and by that time she had a successfully operating private kindergarten. She understood that the opening of a kindergarten for special preschool children should be approached more scrupulously and thoughtfully – it requires different equipment, specialized professional staff. There was a catastrophic lack of material resources to realize their dreams.
Everything became possible thanks to participation in the Zharkyra social entrepreneurship development program implemented by the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia with the financial support of Tengizchevroil LLP.
– As part of the program, I completed training and a number of trainings on business improvement, financial literacy. In February 2020, she received the opportunity to undergo a professional internship and a grant of 3 million tenge. With these funds, I made repairs in the premises for a kindergarten. Bought rehabilitation equipment. The Zharkyra program helped me open a kindergarten for special children that I dreamed of. In a short time, we are already seeing the results of our work with specialists, – Madina Makhutova shares.
Madina’s kindergarten accepts children with cerebral palsy, mental and speech retardation, Down’s syndrome. The team consists of psychologists, speech therapists, defectologists, massage therapists, specialists in exercise therapy and AFC, occupational and music therapy. The main task of the team and the founder of the kindergarten is to teach children self-care skills, develop speech, and find their place in the social environment.
Kindergarten for special children opened its doors in May 2020. At first it was attended by four children, a few months later – already 15 kids. Every day, teachers and students record new victories and achievements. Four-year-old Maira, with a speech delay, said the long-awaited word “mother” during the first month of attending kindergarten, began to pronounce her name and the names of things, and learns to make small sentences. Four-year-old Zharas, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, could only walk with an escort, he could not stand on his feet. After a month of intensive exercise therapy, he walks and sits on his own. Five-year-old Miras with mental retardation did not make contact, had several unpleasant habits – for example, he scratched his face. After a month of sessions with a psychologist, he got rid of this habit. And there are more and more such miracles within the walls of the special kindergarten of Madina Makhutova every day. Children learn to count, distinguish colors, increase vocabulary, learn poetry, take their first steps on their own.
– I am happy when I see good results in a child, when I hear the gratitude of the parents and see the joy in their eyes. Thanks to the opportunity to attend our kindergarten, the mothers of four special babies were able to go to work – this is also an excellent indicator. I realized that opening this preschool was the right decision on my part. There are plans to expand and accept up to 70 children in the future, add two more types of rehabilitation. My biggest dream is to become a resort kindergarten on a par with foreign rehabilitation centers, summed up Madina Makhutova.
