From a beauty to a “stub”: a Christmas tree for Velikiye Luki was cut down right in the village, the residents are indignant

The central New Year tree in Velikiye Luki has again become a subject of discontent this year. But this time, the New Year tree is being discussed not only by the townspeople, but also by residents of the neighboring Kunyinsky district. They assure: the Christmas tree for Velikiye Luki was not brought from the forest. She was cut down right in the village of Zhizhitsa, near the house of one of the residents, where she “pleased people for many years.” “MK in Pskov” learned about the “conflict of interest.”

Living tree or artificial? Which one to put at home? Hundreds of thousands of people across the country answer this question on the eve of the New Year. In Velikie Luki, the “Christmas tree issue” is a settled matter. For many years in a row, a living tree has been installed in the center of the city on Lovat. Although some great-earners in social networks insist that, from the point of view of ecology and respect for nature, it would be more humane to acquire artificial ones.

Be that as it may, traditionally, a few weeks before the New Year, a living Christmas tree for Velikiye Luki is specially looked for in neighboring areas, evaluated, selected … Then they are cut down and brought to the main square. This is where the fun begins.

Dozens of kilometers on a winter road for a fluffy coniferous beauty do not pass without a trace. By the time the Christmas tree takes a vertical position near the stele “City of Military Glory” on Lenin Square, some of the needles crumble, the branches break and the beauty goes bald literally before our eyes.

Bald beauty

This is exactly what happened last year. Seeing the city’s main Christmas tree, a 70-year-old 30-meter tree that arrived from the Kunyinsky district, the townspeople began to resent. Broken branches with needles that fell off during transportation did not, perhaps, inspire anyone. In social networks, the Christmas tree was called nothing more than “ shabby ” and “ plucked chicken ”.

However, the administration assured that by the holidays the Christmas tree would definitely be “healed” and, as a result, they would make a real beauty out of it.

“Damaged branches will be replaced and old ones removed. This technology is used when installing live spruce. As a result, the spruce will be put in order, decorated and fully prepared for the upcoming holiday.0024 – wrote in the community of the administration of Velikiye Luki.

And so it happened. The Christmas tree was transformed and almost until the end of January it pleased the townspeople.

New Year – a new Christmas tree

On the eve of 2023, a live Christmas tree was delivered to Velikiye Luki on December 15th. Installed in a traditional place on Lenin Square. The appearance of the tree again caused displeasure among the great beamers. On the one hand, the Christmas tree has almost completely lost its branches.

The appearance of the Christmas tree raised many questions. Screenshot of the resource: iluki.ru/cameras/velikiye-luki

“You can’t watch without tears!”; “How can you mock a tree like that?”; “How can you ruin a tree like that?”; “It’s a shame”; “Terrible, bald”; “What kind of stub is that?” – these are just a few comments that appeared in Velikie Luki groups on the VKontakte social network under a photo of a city Christmas tree.

However, even this indignation pales before the dissatisfaction of the inhabitants of one of the villages in the Kunyinsky district. It was there, right in the village, that they cut down a spruce for Velikiye Luki. Before transportation, the tree was really beautiful.

Fallen branches will be attached to the central Christmas tree (left). Screenshot of the resource: iluki.ru/cameras/velikiye-luki

FIR IN NUMBERS

The spruce brought to Velikie Luki from the Kunyinsky region is about 80 years old. The height of the New Year tree is 25 meters, and the span of the branches reaches more than 6 meters.

80-year-old fir-tree

Fir-trees from the Kunyinsky district in the past several times became central in Velikiye Luki. However, this time the green beauty has turned from a symbol of the holiday into “ tree of contention “. She was chosen not in the forest, as last year, but right in the village.

“This spruce stood for many years and made people happy. And now they cut it off so that it could stand in the square for several days. Is this normal? – one of the local residents was outraged on the social network.

This is how the Christmas tree in Zhizhytsy looked before being transported to Velikiye Luki. Photo: Valeria Yurievna in the social network “VKontakte”

“Really, there are no forests closer to Zhizhitsa?” – another was upset.

“A fir tree was cut down almost in the center of the village of Zhizhitsa!” – a resident of the district shared his indignation.

As was explained to the correspondent of “MK in Pskov” in the administration of the Zhizhitskaya volost of the Kunyinsky district , the spruce cut down for Velikiye Luki grew on Topolevaya Street in the village of Zhizhitsa. Why did the choice fall on her? Probably because it turned out to be the most suitable of the proposed options.

While the spruce was being cut, the cars could not pass on the road. Photo: Valeria Yurievna in the social network “VKontakte”

“We gave a command to the forestry department to find a Christmas tree. They found. They came to a private owner – this Christmas tree stood on his site, the private owner decided to give it away, ” – said the head of the administration of the settlement Nikolai Balmyshev. And then he asked: “ Did you see what it was like with us, and what it is now in Velikiye Luki? »

«I found out that this Christmas tree was being cut down at half past one. Was in the regional center. I was told that cars couldn’t get through, food couldn’t be delivered to the store, and other things. They cut down and blocked the road. You understand, such a spruce, “ – noted Nikolai Balmyshev.

Who exactly chose this spruce and how? And finally, why did she begin to look so unpresentable? These questions are answered by the administration of the city of Velikiye Luki.

Spruce transportation to Velikiye Luki. Photo: Maria Semenova in the social network “VKontakte”

“Help in finding a suitable tree was provided by employees of the Velikoluksky forestry, who issued a permit for sawing spruce after obtaining consent from the owner of the land plot on whose territory the spruce grew. To avoid mechanical damage to spruce branches during transportation, as well as the threat of wire breakage, damage to road signs and vehicles standing on the sides of the road, Zelenkhoz employees transporting the tree dismantle individual branches, which are then returned during installation, – reported by representatives of the authorities of the municipality.

The indignation of the inhabitants of the Kunying village can be understood: the beautiful spruce, which turned into Quasimodo during transportation, is really a pity. But the tree grew on private property. The owner agreed. No lawlessness. As for the appearance of the Christmas tree… The city administration says that the installation and preparation of the Christmas tree for decoration will be completed by Wednesday, December 21st.

Family Child Care – City of Gardena

The Gardena Family Child Care Program (GFCC) is a State funded Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) providing quality subsidized child care services for families who live, work, or attend school/training in Gardena.  GFCC was established in 1976 in response to the unmet child care needs of the community. By contracting with licensed family child care providers, the program provides educational child care and development services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.

Families in need of child care services

The Gardena Family Care Program (GFCC) provides child care and development services at low or no cost, depending on family income and size, to low income families who are seeking employment, attending school/training, or working. Care is provided to children ages 0 to 12 years in licensed family child care provider homes throughout Gardena and bordering cities.

The GFCC Program provides quality care that includes nutritious meals and snacks, a safe and healthy indoor and outdoor area that is conducive to learning, a variety of age appropriate activities, and an innovative curriculum that addresses the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical needs of children.

For more information or to be placed on the waiting list, call (310) 217-6115 or email [email protected]

Licensed Providers interested in joining GFCC’s FCCHEN

The City of Gardena Family Child Care Program (GFCC) contracts with licensed family child care providers who offer a quality program and provide a variety of learning experiences that promote children’s growth and development in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.  The indoor area must have ample space for children’s activities and learning and an enclosed outdoor area is required. GFCC is looking for providers who are professional, caring, nurturing, and understand how children grow and develop. GFCC staff work closely with providers in the network and offer technical assistance and information with such items as curriculum, child care environment, behavioral problems, and developmental and age-appropriate practices. Additionally, dependent upon funding, there is a toy and equipment lending library available to GFCC providers.

For more information or to apply to be part of the GFCC Network, call (310) 217-9588, email [email protected], or review the information and application in the link below.  GFCC contracts with providers who live in Gardena and in some areas of zip codes 90504 (Torrance), 90250 (Hawthorne) and 90260 (Lawndale).

Kindergartens in Saskatchewan – personal experience

  • Canadian Life

0 3038

In Saskatchewan (Canada), as much as 2 dollars a day per child is spent in kindergarten – I know this for sure. Yes, the food is bad. The educators themselves cook quickly, not all kindergartens have cooks. We have 45 children, no cook. I work in a kindergarten and we have money deducted from our salary for food, but I bring my own food to work. The food is not that tasteless, it is corny unhealthy very often.

There are 2 toilet bowls for 45 children, and at the previous place of work there was only one for 30 children. And there is only one pot for the little ones, the children stood in line. But what’s with the toilets? There are so many different problems that one can only dream of a toilet for staff… Although some kindergartens have a separate toilet for teachers, I do not argue.

Not every garden has its own yard or playground, and if it does, it can be 2 meters by one and a half aviary for poultry.

Many kindergartens are not clean at all. There are no cleaners in the state. Educators clean themselves, take out the garbage themselves. Somewhere with this it is strict and the floor is washed every day as it should be, and in other kindergartens the floor is washed once a week anyhow. Windows may not be washed for a year, but what? And so there is no time.

Yes, sick children are brought in. Yes, we give children antibiotics in the kindergarten. No, you can’t check the children’s heads for the fact that there may be lice. It degrades the dignity of the child. We still find lice from time to time. Yes, there were quite recently children with severe bronchitis, and even with pneumonia. Children, when they get sick, are kept at home for a day, after 24 hours on antibiotics they are taken to kindergarten. You have to work, there is nowhere to put the child.

I’d rather not say anything about the education of teachers. There are, of course, with education, and many of them barely pulled out a couple of courses with their weak English, got a crust and work without understanding elementary things in the field of preschool education. There are many immigrant women who like to quietly talk about how children can be beaten in their countries of origin and put forward clever theories that Canadians are afraid to beat children so that they don’t send them to a nursing home in their old age.

And Canadian educators, for the most part, do not shine with great intelligence, to put it mildly. Sometimes the simplest words in the native language cannot be written without errors or do simple mathematical operations. Although this is not surprising, with a salary, there are not so many educators among educated Canadians who want to work in kindergarten. Although there are, of course, smart workers.

I’m talking about licensed kindergartens, the work of which is regulated by the Ministry of Education. In unlicensed children often stupidly watch cartoons all day long, but such a kindergarten also costs at least 500 dollars a month. And maybe 20 children of different ages per adult.

Madina Makhutova from the Mangistau region was one of the first in her region to open an unusual kindergarten. She came to this idea thanks to her child. After five in vitro fertilization procedures in 2015, her son was born, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy by doctors. Faced with the difficulties of undergoing rehabilitation, she learned that there are many such children in the region – 254 children of preschool age were registered in neurology in 2019.

– My life literally turned into an endless struggle for my son’s health. In our hometown, we visited all available treatment centers, once every three months we went to rehabilitation centers in the CIS. Being once again on rehabilitation in Chelyabinsk, I learned from the parents of special children that their babies with cerebral palsy attend kindergarten. I really wanted my son and other children from our city to also have such an opportunity, – says Madina Makhutova.

I already had experience in organizing the work of a preschool institution. Madina is an entrepreneur, and by that time she had a successfully operating private kindergarten. She understood that the opening of a kindergarten for special preschool children should be approached more scrupulously and thoughtfully – it requires different equipment, specialized professional staff. There was a catastrophic lack of material resources to realize their dreams.

Everything became possible thanks to participation in the Zharkyra social entrepreneurship development program implemented by the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia with the financial support of Tengizchevroil LLP.

– As part of the program, I completed training and a number of trainings on business improvement, financial literacy. In February 2020, she received the opportunity to undergo a professional internship and a grant of 3 million tenge. With these funds, I made repairs in the premises for a kindergarten. Bought rehabilitation equipment. The Zharkyra program helped me open a kindergarten for special children that I dreamed of. In a short time, we are already seeing the results of our work with specialists, – Madina Makhutova shares.

Madina’s kindergarten accepts children with cerebral palsy, mental and speech retardation, Down’s syndrome. The team consists of psychologists, speech therapists, defectologists, massage therapists, specialists in exercise therapy and AFC, occupational and music therapy. The main task of the team and the founder of the kindergarten is to teach children self-care skills, develop speech, and find their place in the social environment.

Kindergarten for special children opened its doors in May 2020. At first it was attended by four children, a few months later – already 15 kids. Every day, teachers and students record new victories and achievements. Four-year-old Maira, with a speech delay, said the long-awaited word “mother” during the first month of attending kindergarten, began to pronounce her name and the names of things, and learns to make small sentences. Four-year-old Zharas, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, could only walk with an escort, he could not stand on his feet. After a month of intensive exercise therapy, he walks and sits on his own. Five-year-old Miras with mental retardation did not make contact, had several unpleasant habits – for example, he scratched his face. After a month of sessions with a psychologist, he got rid of this habit. And there are more and more such miracles within the walls of the special kindergarten of Madina Makhutova every day. Children learn to count, distinguish colors, increase vocabulary, learn poetry, take their first steps on their own.

– I am happy when I see good results in a child, when I hear the gratitude of the parents and see the joy in their eyes. Thanks to the opportunity to attend our kindergarten, the mothers of four special babies were able to go to work – this is also an excellent indicator. I realized that opening this preschool was the right decision on my part. There are plans to expand and accept up to 70 children in the future, add two more types of rehabilitation. My biggest dream is to become a resort kindergarten on a par with foreign rehabilitation centers, summed up Madina Makhutova.

When can baby go to daycare: Is There a Best Age to Start Daycare?

Is There a Best Age to Start Daycare?

  • The age at which your child starts daycare often depends on your employment, the length of your maternity leave, and whether you have relatives or a paid caregiver who can help you with childcare at home.
  • Many daycare centers care for babies from the age of six weeks, but it’s the quality of the daycare that matters most.
  • If you can wait until your child is a toddler, there are some signs to look for to help you decide if your child is ready for a daycare or preschool setting

For some families, daycare is a lifesaver, letting parents get back to work secure in the knowledge that their infants are taken care of and safe. For others, letting go of their babies every morning is difficult and fills them with anxiety as they return to their jobs.

For still other families, daycare represents an educational opportunity for their toddlers to learn, grow, and socialize to get ready for school. At the same time, it gives the caregiver at home time to work, take care of other kids, or simply take a break.

Whatever your situation and reasons for choosing daycare, the first time you leave your child at a young age can be tough. You are likely to be filled with worries and questions about whether you made the right decision about your childcare.

That’s okay, and it’s something most parents go through. Remember that the best age to start daycare will be different for every child and every family.

Daycare Age: When to Send Your Child to Daycare

The age at which your child starts daycare may not be entirely your personal choice. Finding care for your child outside the home will depend on your employer’s policies and the length of your parental leave.

Your decision to start daycare will also depend on whether any family members can help you and whether hiring a paid caregiver is an option for you. Quality daycare is often the most cost-effective and convenient childcare option for many working parents.

Is my baby too young for daycare?

Opinions on the optimal age for starting daycare vary. Some experts suggest children should not go to daycare until they are twelve months old. Others say that infants up to seven months of age find the transition to daycare easier than older infants. Still others say you should keep your children at home as long as possible.

However, many daycare centers take babies from a minimum age of six weeks, when most maternity leaves end in the US. If you are worried about sending your young baby to daycare, remember that sending children younger than a year old to daycare is not unusual.

In 2019, the National Center for Education Statistics reported some helpful findings that show that many families are in the same boat regarding infant and early childhood daycare. They found that:

  • 42% of children under the age of one received some kind of weekly nonparental care.
  • Of those children, 32% were in daycare settings.

The American Academy of Pediatrics says that the type of childcare of your child receives is less important than the quality. What matters more than your child’s age is that you feel confident about the childcare center and comfortable that the staff is caring, qualified, and knowledgeable.

Is it ever too late to start daycare?

Older children may find the transition to the structured environment of daycare more difficult than young babies. This is because they have greater emotional maturity and understand more about what is happening. As a result, it may take a two-year-old more time to adjust to long periods away from a parent than, for example, a four-month-old.

However, if you have cared for your child at home yourself, with the help of relatives, or with a nanny, you may still want to consider some kind of daycare setting for your young child before they start school at the age of five.

If you’re weighing the pros and cons of daycare, you should know that daycare has many benefits for children who are approaching school age. Structured childcare or preschool allows toddlers to socialize with other children, learn to trust teachers, and practice skills like cooperation, sharing, and collaboration.

Being in a group setting is a great way to expand and encourage language skills, creative play, and friendship for toddlers. In addition, time spent away from parents and understanding that they come back is part of a child’s emotional development.

Signs That Your Child Is Ready for Daycare

Kids will start daycare at different ages. However, if you have some flexibility in deciding when to send your child to daycare, there are some signs to look for that may let you know that they’re ready:

Sign  What It Means
They understand instructions. Your child will be ready to follow rules and fall into the routines easily at daycare.
They show independence. Your child will be able to separate from you at drop off and move between activities.
They are curious about other children. Your child is ready to interact, communicate, practice social skills, and start learning about friendship with other kids.
They are potty trained, or close to it. Some daycares assist with potty training. Check the daycare policy and make sure your child is prepared in advance.
They are communicative. Your child will be able to express themselves and their needs to the staff and other kids.

If your toddler is showing some of these signs, they may be ready for daycare. You also know your child’s personality best, so you’ll have an instinct about whether it’s time for them to go into childcare with other kids.

Signs That Your Child Is Not Yet Ready for Daycare

A daycare is often full of light, sound, and color. They tend to be noisy and joyful environments full of social interaction with lots going on all the time. They will be filled with toys, activities, food, and other stimulating elements.

Not all toddlers will be ready to dive into the daycare environment if they have only ever experienced a single caregiver. They will be separating from you while at the same time, navigating new relationships, rules, and activities. Understandably, daycare can be overwhelming for some young children.

If you’re not sure whether it’s time to put your child in daycare, there are some signs to consider to help you decide:

Sign What It Means
Your child still needs naps.

  • While full day daycare programs will build in nap times, they will do so according to age group and on schedule.
  •

  • If your child has not dropped to one nap a day yet, they may find a day at daycare challenging.
Your child has a condition that you’re concerned about.

  • Children with developmental delays, suppressed immune systems, and sensory sensitivity may just need more time before they are ready to enter a daycare environment.
  •

  • You may need more time as a parent to find a daycare with the right environment for your child’s needs.
Your child is anxious and finds separation very difficult.

  • If you have a clingy toddler, they may need more time practicing being away from you in the care of relatives or a nanny to adjust to separation.
Your child has been attending daycare but does not seem to be adjusting to it.

  • If after a few weeks your toddler is still having difficulty separating, is having an increase in tantrums, or generally doesn’t seem happy, it’s important to have an open dialogue with the staff about how your child is adjusting and if they’re ready to be there.

For children who find large groups of kids stressful or need more one-on-one attention, check for a low staff to child ratio when looking at childcare centers. Also, consider daycares or preschools that offer half days if a full day away from home is too overwhelming for your child at first.

Tips on Preparing Your Child for Daycare

There are some practical and easy things that a parent can do to prepare an infant or toddler to begin daycare.

For breastfeeding infants

If you are putting a breastfeeding infant into daycare, you can continue giving them breastmilk.

Open communication with the daycare staff about breastmilk storage, bottles, and the timing of feeds for babies before starting daycare is essential. If you work close by, discuss options for coming in to breastfeed during the day if that is important to you.

About a month before starting daycare, think about your system for pumping, freezing, and storing breastmilk. Also make sure your baby will take a bottle.

Talk with your child

Talk about daycare and explain how it works in simple words. Even a young child can understand the concept. Reading picture books about daycare may help.

Visit with your child

Take your child to the daycare center for a visit before they have their first day. Introduce them to the staff. Show them that you like and trust the adults in charge. Let them explore the center so the new environment is familiar before they begin.

Have other caregivers stay with them at home

To help your infant or toddler understand the concept of people other than you as their caregivers, arrange some sessions with babysitters at home.

Show your child that they can be left safely with another trusted adult and that you will always return.

For potty training children

Make sure you know the daycare’s policies on potty training well in advance. If the daycare staff are going to assist with potty training, make sure your child has a daycare bag packed with extra clothes in case of accidents.

If your child has to be potty trained before starting a preschool program, make sure you have begun the process well in advance.

When Should Your Child Start Daycare?

When you have a young child, preschool and daycare come into play faster than you might expect. What is the best age for your child to start? Today we’re going to take a look at when a child will get the most benefit out of daycare, how long they may need to stay at daycare, and the benefits of enrolling. When you’re looking to enroll your little one in preschool or daycare, call Texas Children’s Academy. We want to help your child start life on the right foot.

-What Age Should A Child Start Daycare At?

Research has shown that the best age for a child to start daycare at is at least 12-months-old. Now, just because that is the earliest age many people say is acceptable, that does not mean that your child will be ready for daycare that early. The biggest consideration you need to keep in mind is how your child reacts to being away from you. Some studies have shown that starting daycare too early creates increased stress levels in infants, so it’s a balance that you have to strike. The two questions you need to ask yourself are, 1) “How long will my child stay at daycare each day?” and 2) “What is my child’s natural stress level?”

-How Long Will They Be At Daycare?

Up until three years old, infants experience much higher stress levels when they are left at daycare for a full day. For most children, it’s recommended they stick to half days until they are at least three, whenever possible.

-What Is Your Child’s Natural Stress Level?

Every kid is different, so you are the best judge of your child’s stress and demeanor. A child that is typically easy going and calm will have a much easier time adjusting and adapting to childcare. If your child gets anxious easily, they are going to experience much more separation anxiety when away from you. When you’re not sure, you can try some half-days a few days a week just to see how they respond, then slowly extend the time until they are acclimated.

-Benefits Of Daycare

When your child is ready, there are many benefits to be gained, both for them and for you.

  • Early-age socialization with kids their own age teaches valuable social skills that will be used later in life. They will learn how to share, solve problems, and work as a team, which is all invaluable to ensure their success later, in school and life.
  • Provides an opportunity to make friends early in life, making the experience less lonely or isolating.
  • Being around other children will help them build a stronger immune system. Sure this means when your child starts daycare, they may get sick a few times, but it’s actually building up their natural defenses. That means fewer colds and fewer missed school days as they grow up.
  • By starting education early, they are more prepared for learning activities going forward, allowing them to make the most of them.
  • You’re going to get some time to yourself or adult interaction which, when you have a young child, we know is hard to come by.

Enrolling your child in daycare can have incredible benefits, but it’s important to take all of these things into account. When you are looking for daycare for your little one, call Texas Children’s Academy. We want to give them the tools to succeed.

When can I send my child to kindergarten

Contents

Many parents ask when to send their child to kindergarten. You have to choose between being busy at work and being able to spend as much time as possible with your baby.

In this article we will look at how old you can send your child to kindergarten, how to understand that he is ready for it, and also what are the pros and cons of this option.

At what age do children enter kindergarten

Experts say that a child should be sent to kindergarten in the interval from one and a half to three years. Previously, it is not recommended, because the baby does not yet have all the necessary skills. Later, it can be too difficult and quite traumatic event from a psychological point of view.

But you should always pay attention to the characteristics of a particular child. The reason is that psychological maturation is different for everyone.

It is important to take into account a number of characteristics of children. Usually until the age of three, children do not need much socialization. The presence of parents nearby is enough, they can well entertain themselves, they do not get bored.

But since a person is a member of society, it is important for him to communicate with people like himself. By the age of about three, we begin to realize ourselves as a person, we are interested in communicating with peers, and we easily enter into a dialogue.

Therefore, three years will be the best age for most children to enter the kindergarten group. There the child will receive education, be able to prepare for school, expand his vocabulary and list of skills.

Until then, it is a good idea to leave the child at home. Of course, if your employment and work schedule allows it.

How to understand that a child is ready to enter kindergarten

It is important for parents to look closely at the child and try to objectively understand whether he can normally be in kindergarten. It is wrong to shift all responsibility to the educator; in the family, the baby should be taught the minimum necessary for socialization.

Here are some signs that a child can be sent to kindergarten:

  • Basic self-care skills are present.
  • The kid draws the line between such concepts as “foreign” and “own”.
  • The child becomes crowded at home, he constantly asks to walk outside with other children, asks to meet with peers.
  • The absence of parents for a certain period of time is tolerated calmly.

Also a good sign that you can pay attention to kindergarten is that the child begins to show interest in classes, is inquisitive, wants to learn.

Why a child should be sent to a kindergarten

It is also worth evaluating the positive and negative sides of a kindergarten. It is important not to go to extremes, not to exalt or demonize this institution, but to treat it objectively. We will consider the advantages of the garden further.

➕ Building awareness of the need to follow the rules

This is something that parents often have problems with when they are raised at home. In kindergarten, the child will understand what order is, what rules must be followed when a person is in society. These are very important skills to master that will help you throughout your life. But if you do not purchase them, there is a risk of facing serious problems.

➕ Understanding the peculiarities of being in a team

There are introverts and extroverts, but during a long period of our life one way or another we will have to communicate with the team. This is important at school and in higher education, and then often at work. It is in kindergarten that we first understand what a team is, gain a sense of comradeship, learn to communicate, work in a team.

➕ Physical activity and physical activity

Such a problem of modern society as a lack of mobility remains relevant for children as well. When they are not attending kindergarten, chances are that more time will be spent on gadgets, the internet, and video games. But the child needs to play more, move and just have fun. In a good garden, there is always a balance between outdoor activities, indoor activities and relaxation.

➕ Compliance with the daily routine

Another important rule that is taught in kindergarten is an understanding of the importance of observing the correct daily routine. It is extremely important for a normal mental and physiological state.

➕ Basic school preparation

Many kindergartens provide children with skills that may be required to enter school. There are also educational programs. But to get the best results, you still have to attend additional preparatory classes outside the kindergarten.

➕ Maintaining the order and culture of communication

In kindergarten, the child will learn to be neat, to communicate with peers. It also helps to gain an understanding of the sense of tact that will be required in adulthood.

Disadvantages of Kindergarten

It is also worth remembering the potential disadvantages of kindergarten. They may vary depending on how the work of a particular institution is structured. Among the most common shortcomings of the kindergarten are the following.

➖ Being separated from the family for a long time

This causes psychological discomfort for many children and makes them feel sad. As a result, the mood deteriorates, tantrums appear due to unwillingness to go to the garden.

➖ Emphasis on group education instead of individual education

It is difficult for a teacher in a large group to keep track of everyone, to ensure that the child receives the desired level of development. And for many, this is just not enough. Not all children feel good in a group, but the conditions of the kindergarten do not imply individual treatment.

➖ Possibility of bad influence

All children are different. There is a risk that your child will fill up his vocabulary with bad words or simply begin to imitate the bully. Much here depends on the skills and personal will of the educator, but not everyone can keep track of the wards.

➖ Diseases

Children often bring all kinds of diseases from kindergarten. On the other hand, it is here that it is better to get sick with something that can put the body under a stronger threat in adulthood. An example is a windmill.

➖ Poor nutrition

Funding problems often result in a child simply not getting a wide variety of nutrients and micronutrients. The low level of quality of preparation at the same time can potentially lead to the fact that many dishes will be perceived with negativity throughout the rest of their lives.

➖ Personnel issue

The situation in this area is also difficult with regard to personnel. Often one has to meet complaints about incompetent educators who misbehave with children.

What to do in such a situation

In order not to make a mistake, you should send your child to a kindergarten, the quality of which you are sure. A good option would be to find a private institution for him with positive reviews. They usually have a more careful approach to the selection of teaching staff, as well as smaller groups. This helps to better build learning, get noticeably more benefits.

At what age should a child be sent to kindergarten? Psychologist’s advice

03/20/2015

Parents often ask questions like this:

– At what age will it be easier for a child to start going to kindergarten – at 2 or 3 years old? At what age should a child be given? I tend to 3 years old, but I often hear that in kindergarten, children develop faster and you need to give up earlier.

But most of all I want to decide for myself whether we need a kindergarten, because I am more and more inclined to the fact that I would not want to send my child there. Husband for kindergarten. What is your opinion on this matter?

Or

– Our child is still 1.6 years old, but they have already started taking kindergarten. I am against kindergarten, my husband is for it, his mother is a kindergarten teacher. In my opinion, now you can do without a garden, because there are many children’s clubs where children are in the same children’s team, communicate and work together. All that is needed is the desire of parents to engage with their child, to teach him. I would like to know the opinion of a psychologist.

So, at what age is it better to send a child to kindergarten?

  • “To Kindergarten Without Tears!” – get step-by-step recommendations and help your child quickly and easily prepare and adapt to kindergarten. Without stress, screaming and psychological trauma.

Sending a child to a kindergarten until the age of 3?

From the point of view of child psychology, the main need of a child under 3 years old is a close, emotionally rich communication with his mother. With the very first and most important person for a child in his life. A person who always understands, supports and, of course, loves. This is ideal.

How a child communicates with his mother, how much his need for this close and deep contact is satisfied, will depend on whether he develops a basic trust or distrust in the world and other people.

At the age of 2.5-3 years, the child does not yet have a pronounced desire to play with other children, he still does not know how and does not know how to do it, and such a need, as a rule, does not arise at this age .

The whole world for him is his mother. The source of joy is mother, the source of communication and love is mother.

Therefore, if a child is sent to a kindergarten at the age of up to 2.5 years, it will always be, one way or another, contrary to the nature of the child and contrary to his basic psychological needs – well, he does not yet have the need to play for hours with other children and spends a long time without mothers.

Developing activities, clubs – that’s different. You come here with your mom for 1-2 hours, mom is nearby, she is always ready to help, support, show what and how to do. She is always available. And such activities are good if the child likes it and walks with pleasure.

The desire to slowly psychologically separate from the mother occurs in a child at about the age of 3 years, provided that before that the child received “enough” of the mother and was not frightened by a long separation from the mother, did not experience the fear of suddenly losing the mother.

  • “To kindergarten without tears!” – get step-by-step recommendations and help your child quickly and easily prepare and adapt to kindergarten. Without stress, screaming and psychological trauma.

What is kindergarten for a child?

Frankly speaking, kindergartens are not a very natural place for a child to stay. Nature did not invent this. Nature did not invent for a child to spend 7-8 hours in a team of children who are not his brothers and sisters. And she didn’t invent it so that he would obey and obey strangers who are not his mom or dad.

This is a relatively recent invention with its pros and cons.

Previously, there were no kindergartens, children grew up constantly next to their parents, were brought up by relatives, older brothers and sisters, nannies, governesses.

What does a child face when going to kindergarten for the first time

  • A clear daily routine, early awakenings.
  • New, unusual food.
  • Absence of close relatives for 8 hours or more.
  • Constant and prolonged contact with other children.
  • The need to obey and obey unfamiliar adults.
  • A sharp decrease in personal attention.
  • The need to fall asleep in an unfamiliar atmosphere.
  • Many things you have to do yourself.

All these changes occur for the baby at the same time, creating a stressful situation for him.

  • “To kindergarten without tears!” – get step-by-step recommendations and help your child quickly and easily prepare and adapt to kindergarten. Without stress, screaming and psychological trauma.

But many parents find it hard to do without a kindergarten in the modern world. And if a child goes there already prepared enough to be separated from his mother for a long time and he already has the experience of self-service, the need to communicate with other children, the need to actively explore the world around him, interest in activities – then, of course, this can even be useful for the child. .

Of course, if you’re lucky with your caregivers. And the attitude of educators to the child largely depends on their attitude towards you. I will write about this in the next article.

Should I send my child to kindergarten?

If you have the opportunity, it is better to send your child to kindergarten closer to 3 years. This will be less traumatic for the child and more or less meet his needs.

  1. At this age, children can more or less stay without their mother for a while without psychological stress.
  2. Can explain in words what they need, like and dislike. There are little bits of self-sufficiency.
  3. Children can already play TOGETHER instead of next to each other (starting at age 3).
  4. You can explain to a child that mom/dad will leave and then they will come.
  5. The child will be able to tell you if he is being bullied or is worried about something.

And if you don’t have such an opportunity and you need to send your child to kindergarten earlier, then you need to do everything possible to prepare him for kindergarten as much as possible and minimize the emotional burden on his psyche.

Career

There is no doubt that a career in Salesforce leads to some very attractive salaries. The highest Salesforce salaries combine bountiful Salesforce skills to properly administer, implement, or develop, and the fact that the platform brings a huge positive impact to businesses.

When getting started in the Salesforce world, there are usually a few core roles that people hold, including junior admin, consultant, and developer – depending on your background, one might be more appropriate than the other. Once you have a few years under your belt, there are many different paths you can take to build a fulfilling career.

As salary is a motivating factor for a lot of people, let’s take a look at the Salesforce jobs that command the most money in the world.

*Data included in this post is from the world’s largest salary survey by Mason Frank – download your copy.

10. Project Manager | $135,000

Project managers oversee Salesforce implementations, ensuring they are completed within scope, on time, and within budget. Great PMs will have a mixture of technical and soft skills, ensuring they can help the team troubleshoot any issues that arise, and manage all stakeholders involved.

Project managers are commonly found working at Salesforce Consultancies, but can also be permanent, or contracting for end users.

9. Pre-Sales Consultant | $137,000

A pre-sales consultant is a skilled role that bridges the gap between the commercial and technical world. By definition, this role is usually involved alongside sales teams in selling a product or service.

A pre-sales consultant is a sales individual’s right hand (wo)man, and will take on the responsibility of finding out about the prospect’s business and technical requirements, and will sometimes build and present a demo. Pre-sales roles are usually found at product companies such as Salesforce or any app on the AppExchange, as well as Salesforce consultancies selling their services.

8. CRM Manager | $137,500

A Salesforce CRM Manager can be compared to a Salesforce Admin role. However, CRM Managers are usually a more senior role involved in larger Salesforce implementations.

As opposed to just administering the Salesforce org, they will usually be managing a team, and be much more involved in the company’s overall CRM strategy.

7. Functional Consultant | $139,000

Functional consultants are the individuals who implement Salesforce products. You will most often find these roles within Salesforce Consultancies. They will be tasked with identifying a customer’s requirements, translating it into Salesforce solutions, and then actually implementing it using declarative point-and-click tools on Salesforce.

6. Program Manager | $142,000

Program managers are very similar to project managers in the way they are involved in the successful roll-out of Salesforce products. The way they differ is the fact that programs are usually made up of several other projects and have an overarching business strategy attached to them, providing extra complexity and requiring additional skill.

5. Solution Architect | $151,000

A solution architect is involved in the solutioning and architecting of Salesforce projects. While a functional consultant may be able to gather requirements and create a solution for a smaller project, solution architects are typically brought in for more complex projects.

This may involve multiple departments, integration with other systems, or simply complex processes. The architects are the people who need to understand Salesforce inside out, as well as best practices associated with larger projects.

4. Technical Consultant | $161,000

Similar to a functional consultant, you will find that technical consultants are mostly at Salesforce consultancies. The differentiator is that technical consultants will have the knowledge of both the functional and development side of Salesforce.

This is a powerful combination, meaning this individual can support almost any aspect of Salesforce.

3. Development Manager | $164,000

When a team of developers is needed for an end user of Salesforce or a consultancy, a development manager may be required. They will be in charge of ensuring developers’ performance, as well as providing best practices and leadership support.

2. MuleSoft Technical Architect | $170,000

Salesforce purchased MuleSoft back in 2018, and it has been a huge success in helping companies move through their digital transformation. With its out-of-the-box API connectors, you can connect Salesforce to any system, whether it has an API or not.

This doesn’t come cheap though. MuleSoft is an expensive, specialist product, and the skillset that comes with it is handsomely rewarded. MuleSoft Architects are some of the most well paid Salesforce professionals in the world, and for good reason – they are working with tools and processes that can make a huge impact.

1. Technical Architect | $174,000

There are no surprises here – the technical architect is one of the highest-paid Salesforce jobs in the world. Similar to a solution architect, technical architects will work on large-scale implementations or projects.

The difference is that a technical architect can oversee any element of a Salesforce implementation – they understand code, integrations, declarative solutions, and even other systems such as AWS, CTI systems, and BI tools. Please bear in mind that this salary is not for a Certified Technical Architect, who can command even more than this salary!

You will typically find these roles within Salesforce, Salesforce AppExchange partners, or Salesforce Consultancies. Sales roles such as these often make up their salary with 50% base and 50% performance-based commission.

While very different to many of the other technical roles above, if you fancy making the big bucks, sales could be the path to choose.

how much managers and executives receive

At any time, and especially with the advent of the coronavirus crisis, it is important for businesses to maintain a stable level of sales in the company. One of the most important vacancies in business today is becoming a sales manager. Hundreds of companies in Ukraine are currently looking for good sales.

Journalists inform.zp.ua decided to figure out what kind of work it is and how in Ukraine you can start receiving a salary of tens of thousands of hryvnias in 2021.

How to become a sales manager

The sales department of any company is always “at the forefront” and is the engine of business. Sales managers communicate directly with customers, and both the volume and structure of sales and the development of the enterprise as a whole largely depend on the results of the department’s work. Universities and colleges don’t train people to be sales managers. At the same time, both large and small companies are looking for such employees in sales departments.

A survey among managers shows that a person with any profession can become a good salesperson, and in sales qualities of character and communication skills are more important than education. A good salesperson is always persistent and purposeful. It is important for him to quickly find a common language with any client. Among the important factors for success in sales, it is worth noting the ability to convince and stress resistance to work with customer objections. In other words, to become a good seller, you need to start selling systematically and learning from your own mistakes.

What salary do sales managers get? At the same time, the salary of the head of the sales department can reach the amount twice as high. At the same time, the head of the sales department is responsible for the entire department and the success of each individual manager. When searching for a head of sales department, vacancies, salaries start from 15,000 hryvnia.

It is worth noting that in most cases in the field of sales, the rate and percentage for successful sales are usually distributed in a 50/50 ratio. Thus, the manager and the head of the department are interested in increasing sales, and the owner of the company pays for a specific result, not man-hours.

Three ways to find a good job

The first and most common way is to find a job on job search sites. They offer up-to-date vacancies of reliable companies. For example, on the grc.ua website, more than 85,000 companies are looking for employees, and there are also more than 10,000 various vacancies throughout Ukraine.

The second method is recommended. You can get into the company through the right person, who can recommend you. The disadvantage of this method is that not everyone will want to take responsibility for you if you do not already have experience or proper skills.

The second method is recommended. You can get into the company through the right person, who can recommend you. The disadvantage of this method is that not everyone will want to take responsibility for you if you do not already have experience or proper skills.

Bonus. VP Sales | $190,000 + Comission

There is one role in the Mason Frank Salary Survey that commands more money than a technical architect, and that’s a sales director or vice president of sales.

Average Salesforce Technical Consultant Salary

In our latest survey, we questioned two different types of Consultants: Functional and Technical. We found that more Technical Consultants (81%) are satisfied with their current role, compared to 57% of Functional Consultants. There could be several reasons for this decrease, however one fact is certain—there is a considerable jump in the average salary of a Salesforce Technical Consultant in comparison to a Functional Consultant. The average salary of a Junior Functional Consultant is between $117,750 and $143,750 (or £50,500 to £68,750 for workers in the UK) which jumps up to around $167,750 in Senior roles.

Salesforce Technical Architect

Technical Architects are in high demand across the Salesforce ecosystem, making it one of the highest paying roles in the ecosystem and rewarded accordingly—78% of Salesforce Technical Architects are satisfied with their salary, up from 64% in our last survey. Due to the difficulty of the certification process, they are a rare commodity across Salesforce, often referred to as the ‘one percent’ in the ecosystem. However, once you have verified your skills with the certification, it’s safe to say that your earning potential will significantly rocket.

While it’s a large jump in terms of average salary intake, we found that overall, only 63% of Salesforce Technical Architects were satisfied with their role, showing that money doesn’t always mean happiness.

So, what next?

Ultimately, your career in Salesforce depends not just on your own strengths, but your interests. how much managers and executives receive

From the first steps to a confident gait: what do parents need to know?

Someone took their first steps before the age of one, someone worries their mother and does not rush to learn to walk. Each baby has its own pace and characteristics of development, and the task of a responsible parent is to understand the child as much as possible and create an optimal environment for him to develop. What are the normal stages of skill development? How can you help your child learn to walk? What actions should not be taken? The answers to the most important questions were collected by child development specialists from the Sozvezdie network of Montessori centers.

When will the baby start walking?

Young parents often look forward to their baby’s first steps. Usually we are guided that somewhere in the year the child already begins to walk, but in practice, of course, it happens in different ways.

Babies walk between 9 and 18 months

Some babies take their first steps as early as 9 months. Most likely, in general, they are somewhat ahead of their peers and have already passed all the previous stages of development of the body and brain, but still you should be very careful about such “early” pedestrians, as they often surprise their parents with sudden falls “out of the blue”. Do not worry and just make sure that the falls happen in the safest way, very soon this stage will pass, and the child will stand on his feet much more confidently.

Other children, on the contrary, frighten their mother and father by the fact that they have not yet learned to walk even by the age of 15 months. Despite the fact that others will convince you of the abnormality of this alignment, in fact, the age norm is the interval between 9 and 18 months. Follow the general development of your “late” pedestrian and be sure that very soon he will start walking.

Children, on average, begin to take their first independent steps from 9 months to 1.5 years. However, the time to master the skill is highly dependent on the individual characteristics of the child and numerous external factors, so there are cases that are outside this range. You should not worry too much if your baby is a little beyond the age norms, but if something bothers you in the general condition of the child (does not cope well with simpler movements, does not follow the toy with his eyes, does not sleep well, slowly gains weight, etc.) you should consult a child development specialist for a face-to-face consultation.

Development of muscles and coordination

<

Of course, the degree of development of muscles and coordination of the baby has a great influence on the ability of the child to walk. In order for the child’s body to develop harmoniously from the first days of life, provide the baby with the opportunity to move freely (buy comfortable loose clothes, give the child enough space to move), and also include children’s gymnastics in the crumbs routine, gently stimulating the child to strain the muscles of the arms, legs, back and abs, and use coordination exercises:

Passage of the main stages of skill development

Before he can start running around the apartment, the baby has to learn many other skills that will prepare him for independent walking. Usually, you can notice that by the time of his first steps, the baby is already confidently turning over and sitting, able to crawl, standing and taking steps with the support of adults or leaning on something, rises from the floor, leaning on pieces of furniture. All these actions signal the normal physical development of the child, which means that he will learn to walk very soon.

We offer you a table of the main achievements of the baby related to walking, which are worth paying attention to. Remember that all children develop differently, so some babies simply jump over some stages (for example, crawling on all fours or walking on palms and feet), however, if you notice a strong discrepancy with our table, it is worth discussing this issue with a pediatrician .

What does he do?

When does a skill appear?

Description

Creeps

6 – 8 months

Crawling is a very important stage in the development of the baby, because this is the first way of his independent movement in space. The crawling technique has changed over the course of its existence: already at about 5 months, children begin to crawl on their stomach, and then move on to 4 points of support.

Gets up and walks on furniture

9 – 13 months

At this age, babies usually learn to walk on a bed or coffee table (something that is stable enough to support almost the entire weight of the child). It is perfectly normal that the baby does not walk while holding your hand, because this task requires much more coordination.

Turns to reach an interesting object behind his back

10 – 11 months

Turning 180 degrees from a sitting position, and especially standing, is not such an easy task that requires good coordination.

Moves on hands and feet

10 – 12 months

Don’t worry if one day you notice how the baby moves on his hands and feet with his butt up. This is a completely normal stage of development. Not all babies use this method of movement, and those who do switch to walking rather quickly.

Walks while you hold both hands

10 – 12 months

Let at this moment almost the entire weight of the baby in your hands, the feeling of adhesion to the surface and such first steps are very important for the subsequent development of the child.

Gets up and down on his knees, holding onto a support, and a little later on his own

11 – 13 months

When sitting on the floor, the baby can stand up through the kneeling position and then sit back down. This task requires excellent coordination, especially if support

is not at hand.

walks hand in hand

11 – 13 months

The muscles are not yet ready to fully balance, but the legs already know their business. At this stage, it is important for you to hold the baby’s hand very carefully, doing this at the level of his shoulder, so as not to injure the delicate children’s joints

First steps on your own

11 – 14 months

Finally, the baby took his first hesitant and clumsy, but completely independent steps. Do not worry – the baby will gain ease of walking very soon!

Sit down after walking a few meters

12 – 14 months

You should not go on a long hike with a baby who has just taken his first steps. A new skill takes a lot of physical and mental strength, so it is not surprising that after a meter or two the kids literally “drain” on the floor and sit down. This behavior is completely normal and will become less frequent as the muscles become stronger and more confident in walking.

Gets up from lying position

12 – 15 months

Such a task requires a whole plan in your head: roll over, lean on your hands, turn your knees, stand on your feet. If the baby copes with it, then everything is in order with his physical development.

Climbs stairs

13 -15 months

Most likely, steps designed for the growth of an adult will be a formidable obstacle for a baby, but as he develops, he will be able to overcome them by connecting his hands and sitting down on the step.

Walks alone

13 – 15 months

Learning to walk is about discovering a world of endless possibilities for exploration. The kid already confidently uses movement on two legs, turns, starts moving and stops without losing balance. But still, the old methods remain more reliable, so do not be afraid if the baby goes back to all fours when tired or encounters an unusual coating. It will soon pass.

Lifts toys while standing

13 – 15 months

Your little one has already learned to keep his balance when performing more complex tasks. Just imagine how you need to redistribute your balance so as not to fall forward when you try to pick something up from the floor while standing. Now see how your little one does it.

Many parents agree that the age at which the baby learns to walk more depends not even on the physical development, but on the temperament of the baby. More active children are more likely to walk earlier than their quieter peers. But even this observation is not a strict regularity.

Our table shows only the approximate age and order of appearance of skills with which the development of a particular child may not coincide, so it is more important for you to have a general idea of what movements the child’s independent walking skill is associated with and understand how to gently guide the development of an “overstayed” baby with through developmental exercises.

How to teach a child to walk?

This question is asked by many parents, which means that child development specialists already have several answers and recommendations.

Should I buy a walker?

Whatever baby product manufacturers say, child development researchers have found no evidence that baby walkers are effective. On the contrary, the use of walkers with tight fixation disrupts the training of the baby’s muscles, and he himself learns to move on his toes.

Instead of a walker, which is not recommended, you can buy a moving support for your baby: a toy stroller or a car large enough to help keep balance when moving.

Exercises to help mom

There are many games and exercises to help your baby learn to walk. Here are just a few of them:

  • Place a chair, table and other furniture close to each other to create your own “route” for your baby. With the help of support on objects, it is much easier to move around on your feet.

  • Sit in front of a standing baby so that there is literally half a meter between them. Stretch out your hands to him and call the baby, and he will definitely take a step towards.

  • Remove shoes. Shoes often get in the way of children who are just learning to walk (imagine if you were taught to write with gloves on). The ability to walk barefoot will allow the baby to quickly coordinate his body and learn to walk confidently.

  • Give your baby freedom, but provide a safe space. Not a single child has learned to walk without falling, so instead of preventing them, it is better to equip the nursery so that landings do without consequences. Remove sharp corners of furniture (some parents buy special pads or simply cover them with foam rubber), make sure that the baby cannot reach unsafe supports (unstable and fragile objects, such as a hanging tablecloth or a glass vase standing on the floor), put pillows on the floor or blankets.

Conclusions

The age at which the baby learns to walk independently depends on many factors: heredity and temperament of the child, the pace of his physical development, the saturation of the environment and the involvement of adults in communication with the baby. Undoubtedly, the attentive attitude of parents, careful gymnastics and prepared space at home stimulate the development of the child, and unnoticed problems and the lack of a suitable environment, on the contrary, slow him down.

Conclusion

Age 9-18 months is a special age for any child. Toddlers have already reached sufficient development of all their organs of perception and are moving to the stage of active exploration of the space around. Of course, the ability to move quickly and free up hands opens up completely new possibilities and requires much more space for the young explorer.

It is for these kids that the children’s Montessori Center “Sozvezdiye” opened developmental classes with their mother. In our classes, under the guidance of experienced teachers, parents introduce children to a completely new environment for them, receive the most important recommendations from specialists and find support from other parents, as well as gently accustom the kids to the atmosphere of the kids club, which will undoubtedly facilitate future adaptation to kindergarten.

Closer to the age of two, we already offer parents short stay groups, where the specialists of our center not only look after the children, but also organize various developmental activities for them.

Children’s Montessori club “Constellation” is a friendship from the first steps to the first class. Sign up for a free class and come meet us!

What colors do children begin to distinguish first?

After birth, the baby enters the bright surrounding world with many shades. But vision in the initial period of life is still very imperfect. Up to 2-3 months, the child distinguishes only light and shadow, not having color perception. Then gradually he begins to discover different tones. Let’s find out which of them he recognizes first.

A newborn child distinguishes only dark and light spots, reacts to a light source, without distinguishing colors. That is why you should not turn off the lights in the room where the baby sleeps completely. Waking up, he begins to look for a lamp with his eyes – this calms him, and also contributes to the development of the oculomotor muscles.

A child’s color vision is formed by cones, light-sensitive receptors in the retina that convert light waves into electrical impulses. Signals are transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve, and are processed into the image we see.
In infants, this process is fully operational by about three months of age.

What color does the baby see first?

The first color that the baby begins to distinguish is red, as it has the longest spectral wavelength of 620-760 nanometers. That is why it is recommended to buy the first rattles and soft toys for the baby in red shades. Gradually, yellow objects can be added to them. At the same time, do not overwhelm him with toys in large quantities. Four or five pieces is the best option. Let him focus on them, study carefully the shape and texture. By the way, this is also an important nuance – experts advise buying items of different sizes, appearance and materials: rubber, plastic, soft, with fillers. So the baby, in addition to visual perception, will learn the world through touch, understand that all objects are different to the touch.

With a large number of toys at the same time, the baby is unable to concentrate properly on any one, sorting through them in a row. It is better to let him play with a few, having thoroughly studied them, and after a week you can replace these toys with new ones.

Colors of the cold spectrum

Approximately by six months, the baby begins to distinguish the colors of the green spectrum, and then, by 8-9 months – and blue.

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Batavia KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5-12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3-12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • When we moved to the Batavia area we didn’t know where to enroll our kids in a daycare program. So after a lot of research we decided KinderCare was right for us. We’ve been sending our kids there for five years and have never regretted our decision. The staff members at KinderCare have become like family to us.

    Tiffany B.

    – KinderCare Parent

  • When I was pregnant with my first daughter, my husband and I considered many daycare options. We originally thought that a home daycare situation would be best for our daughter, but quickly changed our minds once we visited KinderCare. I like that there is a set monthly curriculum that combines educational goals along with fun and playful activities that promote creativity. I also like the bonds my girls have with their teachers! There is a perfect blend of structure, consistency, comfort and excitement here! I also love all of the additional offerings, like the cooking, music and phonics classes that my girls have taken. And most of all, I love that my girls like going to KinderCare. We have been with KinderCare since 2007.

    Lesley K. – KinderCare Parent
  • A few years ago our family moved from Billings, Montana to Illinois. It was coming back home for my husband and I, but it was leaving the only home that my children had ever known. In Montana we had a wonderful day care where my two older children had grown up and we were all very close with the providers there. Uncertain that we would be able to find that connection in Illinois, we began our search.

We were lucky to make a visit to the Batavia KinderCare and meet Emily, the Center Director. Immediately she made us feel welcome and at home in her center. The center is very clean and organized. That is something that is very important to me especially.

Our kids blended into the environment quite well. They were happy to get there and sad to go home. Our two older children learned leaps and bounds from the curriculum at the center. My son, who is in Kindergarten now, is at an amazing educational level and I owe that to Kinder Care. My daughter, who will be in Kindergarten in the Fall, I feel, will also have this same advantage when she enters school.

The staff at the Batavia Kinder Care is amazing! Absolutely one in a million! They are excited to be there every day. They always have smiles on their faces and they are always full of energy, ready to take on the day and all that it brings. They care about their jobs, they care about their center and they care about the kids. And that shines through each and every time that I interact with any one of them. Having three kids in the center, I find that our kids have worked with pretty much everyone there. They know our kids, they know their likes and dislikes, they know their habits and their routines. And the very best part is that they all work well together. You can truly see that they are one team, or even one family. You never have to worry, “Oh I told someone about something, do you think that they will tell this other person about it as well?” They always do. They communicate with one another on everything.

Our youngest daughter will be the only one left there in the Fall. However, we will always be back each summer for camp. Camp is always something great to look forward to. The field trips that they set up, the activities on the summer curriculum, being outside and having a great time. Summer Camp at KinderCare is something that my kids definitely look forward to.

It is never a fight to get my kids in the door at KinderCare. And as I had said above, they are usually sad when it is time for them to go home. But that is the way that it should be. They even like Ms. Maria’s cooking better than mine! I am glad that we found such a great fit for our kids at the Batavia KinderCare Center. I know that every day my kids are safe, very well cared for and happy while they are there.

    Thank you!

    Allison W. – KinderCare Parent

Infant daycare prices near me: Cost of Care – Child Care Aware MN

Affordable Daycare | Bright Horizons®

Then, think about how much of your household income you can spare for child care. When you get to crunching the numbers, you might find you have more available in your budget than you initially thought. Plus, tax credits, tuition subsidies, and more can help you find an affordable daycare provider.

Use a combination of these strategies — some potentially obvious, others more creative — to find a high-quality and affordable daycare for your child. And, as always, keep waitlists in mind and start your search as early as possible.

Ask Around

The first thing you should do is simply ask around your community. The best recommendations often come from people you know. Friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, and even that friendly clerk at the grocery store can point you in the right direction.

Get a Subsidy

You might qualify for a child care subsidy. Each year, federal, state, and even local authorities allocate a certain amount of funds to help families with child care expenses. Qualification requirements vary by state, so be sure to check yours.

Apply for Assistance

Child care assistance — similar to a subsidy — is another state-run program you might qualify for. Most states provide financial assistance for child care to low-income families. With child care assistance, you’ll typically pay a portion of the expenses, while the program pays for the rest.

Start a DCFSA

Some employers offer a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA), which allows you to contribute part of your pre-tax income to an account used to pay for child care expenses. And this has an added bonus of lowering your tax liability! Keep in mind that a DCFSA must be used to pay for work-related child care expenses — it can’t be used for child care provided outside of your work schedule.

Take Advantage of a Tax Credit

When tax season comes around, you might be able to cash in on the Child and Dependent Care Credit. It’s income-based, so the lower your income, the higher the credit will be.

Plus, your tax liability might get reduced so much that you end up with a refund!

However, note that you can’t open or fund a DCFSA and use the child care tax credit in the same tax year, so be strategic.

Ask About Rates and Discounts

Your child’s daycare center or potential future center might offer sibling discounts or discounts for paying the tuition in full, up front. They might also offer discounts for veterans, active-duty military service members, teachers, first responders, and more. Special rates and discounts can help you find a much more affordable daycare.

Explore Your Benefits

Take a look at the child care benefits your employer offers and/or talk to an HR rep at work to see if there’s anything your company can do to help with child care costs. Some employers offer subsidized child care, affordable daycare in on-site or near-site centers, nanny placement, and more.

Do a Daycare Comparison

Are you looking at more than one center in your area? Affordability shouldn’t be the only factor — you also want to be sure the daycare you choose meets your child’s needs, makes your family feel comfortable, and more. Tour different centers to find an affordable daycare that’s high-quality, too.

Full Day Daycare and Childcare rates/prices in Florence for infants

I have been calling a handful of childcare/daycare prices/rates for my 1 year old since May 2017. I think the rates are safe to apply for any child between the ages of 3 months – before kindergarten (between 4 or 5 years old). This is for full day care. To save you some trouble, here are my findings.

Saint Paul United Methodist Church – Their all day care is between 6:45am – 6pm and the cost is $125 per week so that equates to about $500 per month, per child. This includes breakfast, lunch and all snacks. (843) 669-3134

Central United Methodist Church Preschool – Edit for 2018: Central United Methodist Preschool’s regular program is from 9AM – Noon and you can extend the care to 2:30pm as part of their lunch brunch program and until 4:30PM for another additional cost.  Please call them to double check if anything has changed. Their program gets full very quickly! This is maybe not the best place for full time day care if you work beyond 4pm.

La Petite Academy –
Their all day childcare is from 6AM – 6PM with breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack included. This is a chain and they are located all over the US. They follow a great preschool structure that’s appropriate by age and the chain itself has been around for decades. They also provide an after school program for kids in elementary school. The quote I was given was $154 per week for full time care for my little ones for Mon-Fri. This rate might have increased a bit. They are located in West Florence. Address: 3501 Pine Needles Rd, Florence, SC 29501 Tel: (843) 662-9808. Price is around $616 a month.

South Florence Baptist Daycare – Their all day care is from 6:30am – 6pm and cost is $111 per week. It is for ages 6 weeks old – 4 years old. They have individual classrooms for each age level and offer the A-Beka Christian Curriculum. They provide a hot breakfast, lunch, and snacks – all included in your child’s tuition cost. They also use separate age-specific fenced playgrounds.

Charlie Brown Day Care – Their all day care is $125 a week so that is about $500 a month. (843) 665-1226. They are the closest to FDTC (about 10 min) in the group of daycares that I researched. Address: 1800 Gregg Ave., Florence, SC 29501.

Sunshine House – Their full time care is $155 a week, so that is about $620 a month. Address: 2009 Second Loop Rd., Florence, SC 29501. Meals and snacks are all included.

First Presbyterian Church Child Development Center – From 7am – 6pm year round, the child development center provides all day care for $135 a week, which is about $540 a month. Mid-morning snacks, lunches and afternoon snacks are included. It is for ages 6 weeks – 4k. Address: 700 Park Ave., Florence, SC 29501

Immanuel Baptist Church Child Care – Their full time care is $122 a week from 7am – 6pm, which is approximately $488 per month.
Address: 306 Cherokee Rd., Florence, SC 29501 Tele: (843) 665-9004

I will update this page with more details as I continue my search for the right daycare for my child. I hope this is helpful! Note that prices may have increased since I’ve called these places. Please note that each month has more than 4 weeks but I used 4 weeks as my calculation to compare the rates with each other.

About the project

The residential quarter “Polyarnaya 25” is located in the north of Moscow. Babushkinskaya metro station is 15 minutes away by public transport or by electric scooter — there are four scooter parking lots next to the project. The project includes ten residential buildings, two kindergartens, a school, underground and multi-level parking lots.

This is a cozy residential quarter, where there is everything for a comfortable life. From each house there is an exit to a closed courtyard-park, where cars do not drive and random passers-by do not walk. This is a peaceful place to relax, read a book and practice yoga. There are sports grounds with exercise machines in the yard – it is convenient to do exercises in the fresh air right next to the house. And for children, we will build playgrounds from natural and safe materials.

Shops, cafes and other services will open on the first floors. To go grocery shopping, buy a coffee or take a pizza to go, it will be enough to go down the elevator.

From Polyarnaya 25 you can walk to the Yauza park, the longest in Europe, in half an hour. And on a scooter to the park – only 12 minutes. There are walking and bicycle paths, playgrounds, playgrounds, picnic areas and a dog training area. The park has unusual sports facilities, such as a skate park and a go-kart track. And in 15 minutes by car there is a picturesque estate Sviblovo.

My district. Biryulyovo East and West, Moskvorechye-Saburovo, Tsaritsyno

Four districts in the south that became part of Moscow in 1960th year. Industrial, with a rich history and its own identity.

Home for over 450,000 Muscovites. Improving their quality of life is the main goal of the development programs carried out in these areas over the past decade.

Transport

For many years, the main problem of Biryulyovo East and West, Moskvorechye-Saburov and Tsaritsyn was the lack of transport links. And not only with the city center, but also among themselves.

To improve the situation, we have implemented several major projects.

We built overpass across the Paveletsky direction of Moscow Railways , connecting streets of Podolsky Kursantov and Elevatornaya . But in fact, it connected East and West Biryulyovo.

The overpass became the key structure of the new highway Elevatornaya Street – Podolskikh Kursantov Street – Krasny Mayak Street , which connected Lipetskaya Street with Varshavskoye Highway and became an alternate for Moscow Ring Road in the southern sector of the city.

Previously, in order to get from one area to another, drivers had to go to the Moscow Ring Road, making a detour through traffic jams 5-7 km long. Thanks to the new understudy, the travel time between neighboring areas has been reduced by 3-4 times.

At Lipetskaya Street – the main thoroughfare of Biryulyovo Vostochny – a 600-meter flyover of direct running was opened. Side passages were created along it for a comfortable exit to Lipetskaya Street from Elevatornaya and 6th Radialnaya Streets. U-turns and exits were organized in the underpass space.

The construction of the overpass increased the capacity of Lipetskaya Street by 25-30%, thus reducing the intensity of traffic congestion and simplifying the exit from Moscow to the Don federal highway.

In the area of st. Lipetskaya, 34/25, the noise barrier was updated – instead of old panels, modern ones with improved sound insulation were installed.

Podolskikh Kadsantov Street was extended to MKAD with a modern interchange. Thus, residents of Biryulyovo Zapadny received an additional entrance/exit to the Moscow Ring Road.

Reconstructed Kashirskoe shosse from MKAD to Varshavskoe shosse.

Three more large projects are underway, which will radically improve the traffic situation in the south of the city. Two of them are chord highways that form a new transport frame of the capital.

This is Southern Rocade , already built from MKAD to Proletarsky Prospekt.

This is Moscow high-speed diameter – we plan to complete the construction of the southern direction this year.

The opening of the Southern Rokada and the southern direction of the MSD will provide residents of Biryulyovo, Moskvorechye-Saburov and Tsaritsyn with many new – fast and convenient – options for traveling around the city. The most important effect is that the metropolis will become closer.

Finally, the third large-scale project that is currently underway is the reconstruction of interchange at the intersection of Lipetskaya Street and MKAD . The most complicated transport hub – in total it is planned to build almost 19 km of roads, including 8 artificial structures.

In January of this year, the first section was opened – the outer side of the Moscow Ring Road with an exit to the M-4 highway. In general, we plan to commission the interchange in 2024. As a result, traffic will be improved on one of the busiest sections of the Moscow Ring Road, as well as in Biryulyovo and other adjacent areas.

Rail transport is actively developing.

On the basis of the Kursk direction of the Moscow Railway, traffic was launched along MCD-2 . Passengers are accepted by stations Moskvorechye , Tsaritsyno , Pokrovskoe , Krasny Stro At rush hour, new, comfortable surface metro trains run every 5-7 minutes.

This spring, Big Circle Line of the metro was fully launched. It included stations Kashirskaya and Varshavskaya “, previously serving the Kakhovskaya branch. This was preceded by their reconstruction.

Specialists preserved the historical appearance of the stations as much as possible, while modernizing the infrastructure, replacing utilities, rails, wall cladding and platforms. In fact, the stations were dismantled and reassembled, completely updating the main structures and equipment, taking into account advanced engineering technologies.

Kashirskaya “,

Warsaw “.

Territories adjacent to the stations have been landscaped – it is convenient to go to the metro and just take a walk.

Our plans include the construction of Biryulyovskaya metro line, which will stretch south from the former ZIL industrial area. The prospective radius will be connected by interchanges with BKL, MCC, Zamoskvoretskaya and Troitskaya metro lines.

29 new urban land transport routes serve to develop inter-district transport links. For the convenience of passengers, 165 modern stopping pavilions have been installed.

Fans of cycling actively use the bicycle infrastructure. They have 48 car parks and 27 two-wheeler rental stations.

We pay great attention to the development of Biryulevsky arboretum . A unique park-nursery was established in 1938 to select tree species most resistant to the Moscow climate. It was severely damaged by freezing rain in 2010. Over the past decade, much has been done to restore plantings and expand the collection.

In addition, the reconstruction of the ponds of the arboretum, the construction of the amphitheater and the embankments of the Biryulevsky Creek were completed.

This year we took on a few more iconic objects. Among them – square near DK Moskvorechye and park named after. Herzen .
