Conflicted 2nd Year Associate here. I generally like my firm but obviously hate the practice of law (biglaw). I’ve been offered a fairly generous comp package to take a non-attorney compliance role with a FAANG company. While there is a modest base pay cut, the total comp (sign on + annual bonus + options) beats where I’m at now and probably will be better than Cravath-scale (including bonus) through at least Year 4. Since I know I’ll bail for in-house anyway, should I go now or wait?

Should I rollover the traditional to Roth right now? My rationale for wanting Roth is the principle is more accessible. Goal is also to pay less taxes and retire early.

We took four kids to enjoy the kids escape room, I was nervous they wouldn’t stay on task or get overwhelmed. I was totally wrong, the staff kept the kids engaged with subtle little hints throughout the experience. When they made it out, the kids we’re full of excitement. The dads did one of the adult rooms while the moms laughed and enjoyed watching the kids from the viewing room. After dinner the parents decided we wanted to go back and enjoy the second adult room. Both rooms were a complete blast and very engaging. Great owners, and very custom craftsmanship in the rooms. Thanks for letting us spend the evening with you guys.

Spawning ban 2023 by regions
02/08/2023
Rules and laws
Every year there comes a time when the fish begin to breed and lay their eggs. It is important for a fisherman to understand that the more successful the spawning is, the more fish will be in the reservoirs in the future. It is for this that restrictions and prohibitions are introduced on catching certain species for this period. There are also general catch limits, which you can read about here. We also recommend that you familiarize yourself with the rules of fishing in 2023.
Spawning ban 2023: general provisions
A general ban on fishing in the territory of the Russian Federation is usually valid from April 20 to June 20, however, the Federal Agency for Fishery may change these dates.
Each region has its own rules and deadlines – they are prescribed in detail in the fishing rules for eight fishery basins in Russia. A spawning ban in a particular subject of the Russian Federation depends on the characteristics of the fish, the temperature regime and the type of reservoir.
In most regions, even during the spawning ban, you can fish with one bottom or float rod, and in some regions spinning is also allowed. So don’t wait for the restrictions to end – replenish your fishing arsenal now with a rod, reel, lure or other product Daiwa ! Now they can be purchased at a discount of up to 55% .

Persons who discovered such tools must notify the state authorities authorized to exercise federal state control (supervision) in the field of fishing and conservation of aquatic biological resources and (or) state control in the field of protection of marine biological resources about the indicated fact.

What Parents say….
“I have been taking 2 children here for a little over a year. The boys are 2 1/2 and 15 months. The older child was reserved and shy when he started, now he is a regular little boy who knows no fear and lights up as soon as he sees the school. The baby has a few health concerns, the staff was eager to learn how to use his medical equipment.
The boys are always clean and happy when I pick them up. I love the way the staff will reach out if either boy is not feeling well, I am so thankful they are making sure to put the health of all the kids over any concerns on how I may react. I could not be more thankful for such a inviting environment for my boys to go to during such chaotic
times.”

Winters are a good time to travel to Atlanta as the weather is mild and not considered too cold.
Atlanta Attractions

History buffs will appreciate the countless museums this city has to offer. From the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and Atlanta History Center to the Atlanta Cyclorama, the Civil War Museum and the Carter Center.
A trip to the world of Coca-Cola is a must for fans of the world’s most famous brand, while kids of all ages will love the Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta Zoo. Stroll through the Botanical Gardens or marvel at the magnificent works of art at the Higher Art Museum. The choices in Atlanta are endless!
Historic Center
Explore 13 hectares of beautiful gardens, award-winning exhibits and interactive events in the historic center of Atlanta.
The main attractions are two historic houses open to the public offering educational tours. Tully Smith’s house was originally located outside the city, but was moved to the Historic Center. The house was built in the 1840s and survived the near destruction of Atlanta in 1864, when General William Sherman burned nearly two-thirds of the city during his infamous “March to the Sea.”
The Swan House, built in 1928, is an Atlanta landmark Italian mansion that was once the home of Edward and Emily Inman, heirs to a cotton brokerage fortune. The historic center also has several other historical buildings and exhibitions.
Natural History Museum
As one of the preeminent museums in the South, the Natural History Museum is a gateway to discovery and exploration. It tells the story of earthly life, the physical universe, the environment, and human culture through exhibitions, programs, and films in the IMAX theater. Opened in 1992, Fernbank is the “Home of the Dinosaurs of Atlanta”, a reputation highlighted by the giants of the Mesozoic period, with a unique permanent exhibition featuring the world’s largest dinosaurs.
Baptist Church
Ebenezer Baptist Church, although small, has played a large role in American history. Founded in 1886, the church was the epicenter of the civil rights movement in the 1960s. Martin Luther King Jr. served as one of the pastors from 1960 to 1968 and during that time worked to ensure equal rights for African Americans.
The church has a new building across the street, but visitors can still explore the old sanctuary where King preached before walking around Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
The annual Martin Luther King Jr. events usually draw large crowds in January. Former speakers have included US presidents, national and local politicians, and civil rights leaders. The remembrance is also held during Black History Month and the anniversary of King’s assassination on April 4, 1968.
Kennesaw
Mount Kennesaw was the site of a bloody battle in the Civil War, where in 1864 General Sherman led his Union forces against entrenched Confederate forces. This resulted in the death of over 67,000 soldiers.
Currently, the park consists of several thousand acres of protected land, covered by more than 27 km of walking trails. The trails contain historic earthworks and cannon and memorial sites that were erected to commemorate the event.
A small museum on the site displays civil war artifacts and the visitor center provides information about the battle. This popular park is visited by more than a million people every year, many of whom come for a picnic and enjoy the views of the mountain above Atlanta.
Museum of Art
Located deep within the city’s art district, the Atlanta High Art Museum houses more than 15,000 items from its permanent collection. This includes 19th and 20th century American art, important and visiting European collections, as well as contemporary art, photography, and African art. The museum has an impressive collection of civil rights photographs.
National Historic Site
Travel to the Victorian home where Martin Luther King Jr. was born in 1929. Here, visitors can see where the American Nobel Prize winner for civil rights grew up and where the movement began.
The half-mile stretch of Auburn Avenue, including King’s birthplace, Ebenezer Baptist Church where he preached, and the memorial tomb at King’s Center where he is buried, has become a historic site that draws hundreds of visitors every day. The exhibits it contains give an insight into the life and times of this respected man.
Guided tours run every 30 minutes on a first-come, first-served basis.
Currency Museum
Although it doesn’t look like much of a tourist attraction, visiting the Federal Reserve Bank’s Coin Museum is surprisingly entertaining.
Highlights of the tour include an extensive “History of Money” exhibit showcasing obsolete currencies from around the world and interactive multimedia displays that teach you how to spot counterfeit money. A tourist can try to pick up a $450,000 gold bar, create their own currency, and bring along a free bag of crushed money to take home as a souvenir.
Whether it’s part of a guided group tour or simply seeing the exhibits on your own, a visit to the Federal Reserve Bank should instill in visitors a new understanding of the rich history that informs America’s modern use of money.
Fox Theater
The Atlanta Fox Theatre, also known as the Fabulous Fox, are theaters built in the United States in the 1920s. The theater’s unique beginnings and Moorish design set it apart from other theaters of the period. Today, it hosts a range of artistic and cultural events, including summer movie series, the Atlanta ballet, and national touring companies on Broadway shows.
Jonesboro
About 24 miles south of Atlanta in Clayton County, Jonesboro is a city not to be missed for movie buffs or those who crave a taste of the real Deep South.
Jonesboro was the setting for Margaret Mitchell’s famous novel and later film Gone with the Wind. Devotees come to see local historic plantation houses and learn about the real people whose lives inspired the novel’s fictional characters. On Main Street, the Road to Tara Museum is located in the Jonesboro Depot Reception Center, home to original props, costume reproductions, puppet collections, and an extensive photo gallery associated with the making of the film.
The Welcome Depot is also the starting point for daily tours starting at 13:00 except Sundays. The tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at the real life stories on which the book was based.
Stone Mountain
Stone Mountain is located approximately 20 minutes from Atlanta and has man-made and natural attractions. The best of these is a huge relief carving of three southern civil war heroes that was engraved into the mountainside.
Images of Confederate President Jefferson Davis, Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas Jackson cover an area larger than a football field and are part of the largest relief sculpture in the world.
Three sculptors worked in succession on the carvings, beginning with Gutzon Borglum in 1915. He later became famous for his carvings on Mount Rushmore. Subsequently, two other artists continued the work, which was finally completed in 1972. Visitors can either hike up the mountain or take the lift to the top for breathtaking views of Atlanta and the Appalachians.
Stone Mountain also has a restored Antebellum plantation with a colonial mansion, slave houses, carriage houses and sheds. The park has several lakes and hiking trails, as well as a nature reserve and a zoo.
Attractions for Children
One of the most interesting cities in the United States, Atlanta is a great place for children to relax and have fun. Immersed in a rich cultural and political history, kids can learn and discover a lot while having a great time sightseeing.
Grab a picnic basket and a blanket and head to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for a sunny day and fresh air. For a more active day, take the kids to Six Flags Over Georgia Theme Park, where there are plenty of thrills to enjoy while enjoying the rides on offer.
The Science Center is a must for all curious minds, with great outdoor trails to enjoy walking. Stone Mountain Park is also a must-see place where families can hike mountain trails and enjoy a laser light show in the evening.

Georgia Aquarium
The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in America with over 100,000 animals from 500 species. Creatures from all over the world are featured here, from whale sharks and manta rays, to sea lions and sea otters, penguins, sharks and a riot of colorful fish.
The Aquarium also has a cinema with a 3-D animated film, a café and an Ocean Ballroom for special events.
A popular attraction is the Dolphin Tales show, which features choreographed musical performances of dolphin stars.
Children’s Museum
The Atlanta Children’s Museum provides hours of learning and entertainment. Aimed at children under the age of nine, the museum features engaging interactive exhibits such as the Curious George Gallery.
Children also get the opportunity to paint the walls, crawl on the playground or even put on a raincoat and play in the forest river.
Botanical Garden
Be sure to visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden while in town. In particular, the Fukua Conservatory, a giant greenhouse with various climate-controlled ecosystems, is worth a visit.
A walk through the conservatory takes visitors out of the desert and into the full tropical jungle. The outdoor gardens are intertwined with nature walks, bypassing many quiet spots meant for quiet contemplation. The garden constantly displays numerous sculptures and works of art, and regularly hosts art exhibitions.
Zoo
The Atlanta Zoo has approximately 1,000 animals representing 250 species from around the world and is visited by over 1 million tourists annually. Founded in 1889, the zoo has become one of Atlanta’s top family attractions. It houses exhibitions about the African rainforests, an aviary with free-flying parrots and a house for reptiles.
Kids will love discovering all kinds of animals, including rare giant pandas, Sumatran tigers, clouded leopards and Komodo dragons. The zoo also houses the country’s largest collection of gorillas and orangutans.
The World of Coca-Cola
In 1886, a small pharmacy in Atlanta began selling a new tonic for headaches and hangovers called Coca-Cola. In 1891, entrepreneur Asa Candler paid $2,300 to acquire the rights to what is now the most valuable brand in the world. The following year, he founded the Coca-Cola Company.
The new, environmentally friendly building houses more than just a Coca-Cola museum.
Thousands of Coke objects, trivia and memorabilia are stored among interactive exhibits backed up by commercials, radio jingles, 4-D cinema, tasting and pop culture gallery.
Traditions
When it comes to describing the national characteristics of the inhabitants of Atlanta, one cannot simply ignore their unusual craving for various holidays and celebrations, many of which are associated with ancient traditions.
The annual Powwow Festival held in Stone Mountain Park on the first weekend in November is a really interesting celebration. On this day, everyone can become a real Indian – visitors can dress in old costumes and try their hand at traditional crafts.
Powwow can literally be translated as “spiritual leader”. That is how the Indians of North America called their congregations. Previously, such meetings were aimed at solving the most important issues. Nowadays, the Indians use them just to have fun and compete in the art of dance and other skills.
Numerous festive events take place in the city on Christmas Eve. At this time of the year, Atlanta is always full of travelers. The streets of the city are decorated with sparkling garlands, balloons and beautiful figurines depicting Christmas characters. On the eve of the holiday, you can witness a grandiose parade, various concerts and fireworks. Children especially like this holiday, as many fun games and performances are organized for young visitors.
Atlanta Restaurants
Atlanta restaurants are a sensory blast where diners who love flavor and variety will not be disappointed. Atlanta is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the United States and the third largest city in the country. The restaurant serves its sophisticated customers.
Atlanta food ranges from traditional Southern fare such as fried chicken, shrimp, fish and okra to legendary peaches, pecans, peanuts and onions. Be sure to try some peach casserole and a slice of pecan pie.
Head to Buckhead for trendy eateries and good homemade food, while Decatur, Midtown and Virginia Highland are no match for international cuisine. Most of Atlanta’s finest restaurants require a reservation, and it’s customary for waiters to tip around 15%, while tips of up to 20% are the norm in high-end restaurants.
Atlanta at night
Explore some of the best Atlanta nightlife in this luxurious city. Buckhead is a good place to start. The area has a festive night scene with a number of nightclubs, dance clubs and pubs.
But most places close at 3 am. There are several chic lounges and cocktail bars in the city center, especially in the bigger hotels. Virginia Highlands in particular welcomes young professionals to stylish clubs.
Small venues scattered throughout the city are ideal for southern baritone blues. Others prefer one of the four huge venues that are part of the US tour of any major band. Of course, there are many clubs in Atlanta hip-hop with rising and returning stars.
Shopping
Shopping in Atlanta is more of an activity than a pastime, and Atlanta’s malls, boutiques and markets are more than enough to satisfy the needs of every shopaholic.
Head to the Buckhead area for a first class shopping experience or to discover the trendiest boutiques. Some of Atlanta’s best shopping can be found in Lenox Square and has nearly 250 specialty stores and plenty of restaurants for weary shoppers to take a break.
For budget shopping, head to North Georgia Outlets where you can find anything under the sun for a bargain. Most people won’t leave without buying something. In addition to countless malls, Atlanta also has some great flea markets where antiques are a popular purchase.
Don’t be afraid to bargain with the sellers as you are guaranteed to find good deals!
Most stores in Atlanta are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00 and Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00. Sales tax varies by city and state in the US and ranges from 4 to 15 percent. This is added to the price of the item at the point of purchase.
Atlanta does not have a tax refund system for visitors from overseas, but large and expensive purchases are often tax exempt if shipped outside of the state in which they were purchased.
Atlanta Airport
Atlanta International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the US, handles 100 million passengers annually on thousands of domestic and international flights.
The huge airport consists of two terminals connected by an atrium with numerous services, shops, restaurants and a food court. For beginners, it can be difficult to navigate, however, friendly staff are always on hand to help, and several motorized footpaths help speed up the long journey between the gates.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located 11 kilometers south of downtown Atlanta and is the main airport for Georgia and also serves as a transit hub for many international flights and various US destinations.
City Transportation
Atlanta trains and buses reach most areas of the city, but they are not always the most convenient way to travel, and services are limited outside of the city.
The MARTA network is inexpensive, secure and well integrated, but travel can be slow. A one-way MARTA pass, which is suitable for travel anywhere in the system, costs about $2.50. There are weekly, weekend and visitor passes at various rates.
Atlanta is a car-dominated city, so there are plenty of parking spaces, especially in tourist areas. But traffic on freeways and in the city center can be very busy, especially during rush hours.
During conventions and major sports and entertainment events, it is easier to travel by public transport.
Taxis are available, but ordering by phone is easier than catching them on the street. they can also be found at taxi ranks around the city. Visitors should be wary of unlicensed taxis, and women traveling alone at night should order taxis by phone.
Weather in Atlanta
Atlanta has four distinct seasons and a humid subtropical climate. Winters are cold with temperatures below freezing most of the time, but daytime weather is mild enough to walk around the city, with occasional snowfall.
Summers can be hot and humid with periods of intense heat. In mid-summer, the average temperature is 31 C, and in the middle of winter, the average temperature is 0 C. Atlanta receives heavy rainfall, which is evenly distributed throughout the year.
Travel Tips
The best way to take a trip to the outlying areas or ethnic areas of the city is with a large group or on an excursion with a group of tourists. Do not take large amounts of money with you and do not wear jewelry for such an excursion.
Travelers must not use illegal taxis. Inexperienced travelers can easily become victims of scammers and thieves.
You must not appear on the streets of the city in a state of intoxication. This will lead to confusion among local residents and may result in heavy fines.
If your documents, credit cards and other personal items are lost or stolen, you should immediately contact the nearest police station. The city has a special police station for tourists. Their phone numbers and addresses can be found in any phone book.
Travelers looking to rent a car and explore the city on their own need to remember a few very simple rules. In no case should they collect fellow travelers and stop on the way without any serious need. You must keep driving even if there is a minor accident on the road.
The system of cashless accounting in the city is very well developed. You can pay with a credit card at all malls, supermarkets, cinemas and restaurants, so you don’t have to carry large sums of money.
If you plan to use cash for your payments, it’s best not to use large denominations ($50 and $100). Small shops and cafes, as a rule, are not equipped with a system for checking the authenticity of banknotes, so the client’s money may simply not be accepted. The reason for this is that high denomination banknotes are often counterfeited.
Various uprisings and campaigns often take place in the city. Tourists can also participate in some of them, such as campaigns for the protection of animals or the fight against smoking.
If pickets are organized on political or racial issues, visitors must not interfere.
First-time visitors are advised to purchase a map showing the main public transport routes. City planning is quite inconvenient, so it can be quite difficult to find a specific museum or shop without a map.
The classification of hotels in Atlanta and other US cities differs significantly from the system adopted in European countries. When choosing a hotel, it is better to indicate the range of services offered.

Child Care FAQs
The national typical hourly rate in 2022 is $20. 00 per hour for nannies and $17.50 for babysitters. Rates can vary based on the child care provider’s experience, certifications, employment status, and travel expenses. When calculating the cost of child care, you should also account for the number of children they’ll care for and additional responsibilities like household tasks or homework help. Learn more about how to set competitive rates for attracting the best babysitters.
The best way to find child care near you is to post a job detailing your needs on Sittercity, which will be shared with our community of available babysitters and nannies. We’ll notify you when child care providers apply to your job, and from there you can proceed with interviews, background checks, and reference checks so you can find the perfect fit for your family.
You can find experienced and passionate child care providers near you to provide the best care for your child, either in-home or virtually. Child care providers can help families with managing strict schedules, transportation to activities, homework help, last-minute coverage, date nights, and more. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, live-in, or temporary care, you can count on Sittercity for finding passionate and experienced child care providers.
Families find trustworthy child care providers on Sittercity who are passionate about providing safe and enriching care for their children. Many providers report they are First Aid and CPR certified to provide the best care for your family. Babysitters and nannies have the option to complete regular background checks, and you can easily request a recent background check if they don’t have one or it is not recent. Families can also request to see professional references!
Our dedicated team also champions safety across our platform every day. Child care providers go through an identity verification process Berbix when registering an account. Some additional safety measures include Family Watchdog screening, babysitter and nanny reviews, and secure messaging.
Nannies and babysitters share the same primary responsibility of providing safe and enriching care for your child, but there are a few differences between them. Nannies are more commonly associated with regular work, whether full or part-time, offering daily or consistent care to a particular family. There are also several different types of nannies, including au pairs, house managers, doulas, live-in, and overnight nannies.
Babysitters, on the other hand, are typically hired for irregular or occasional work, either full or part-time. If you’re looking for last-minute care for date night, or the occasional few hours after school, a babysitter is a great best option.
Identifying the type and frequency of child care you’ll need is the best way to decide whether a babysitter or nanny is a better fit for your family.
Child care providers on Sittercity love providing enriching experiences for your children, and sharing their passions with them. They’re happy to participate in outdoor activities like sports, or indoor activities like music, baking, tutoring help, and art. Wherever your child’s interests lie, child care providers on Sittercity can engage them in a nurturing way.

How to retain and motivate car service specialists — Automarketolog.ru
In this article, we will first look at a couple of cases from the West, and then learn from domestic experts what to do to cope with the shortage of specialists in car services.
65-year-old Texas auto dealer John Luciano says he could eventually become an accredited auto technician. Not that he planned to work in this position, but he would like to do it.
“I still race and work on cars, but I’m not certified,” says the director of the Amarillo Street Volkswagen dealership. “When I retire, I might get a certificate. Just to do it. For pleasure.”
Working as a mechanic in a Western dealership is not always fun. Yes, it can be rewarding and financially rewarding, and top technicians earn six-figure salaries.
But this job is stressful.
So mechanics can get “emotional,” says repair industry veteran Marvin Baker. The aforementioned Luciano does not argue with this.
“The pressure you feel as a technician can be very intense,” Luciano told Wards. “You can plan your day, but then something happens, like a part doesn’t arrive or a repair is difficult. Your day starts to slip. Then the service master swears at you. The customer then gets angry enough to call the service manager. Now he is barking at you. Yes, it can be very difficult if you don’t have a strong support system. Work can be very emotional.”
Baker tells Wards: “Some technicians joke: My toolbox has wheels and I could roll away at any moment. Everyone in the industry has heard this more than they would like to admit. Emotional technicians can get frustrated and leave. And sometimes they regret it later.
Both he and Luciano are strong advocates of creating a positive work environment that not only retains dealer mechanics, but also attracts new ones.
The latter are in short supply, resulting in a chronic shortage of skilled technicians in the dealership world.
“Almost everyone is concerned with retaining, training and finding new employees to fill positions,” says Baker, executive director of corporate revenue and customer experience for Solera, a provider of data and software for the automotive industry, including repair shops.
He recalls a conversation with a retiring service director: “I asked him about the main reason for retiring. Without thinking, he replied, “Lack of technicians. I’m tired of fighting it.”
For Baker, “this was not a surprise, more of a confirmation.”
Why is there a shortage of qualified candidates for a job that seems attractive to those with the technical ability to do it?
“The short answer is that more people are leaving the industry—mainly due to retirement—than are coming in,” Baker says.
A more lengthy answer comes from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. The agency predicts that 73,300 technicians will need to be added annually to keep up with vacancies. As Baker notes, the shortage of workers is due to retirement. As well as a reduction in the number of able-bodied adults (aged 15 to 65 years).
The Society for Human Resource Management predicts that this number will fall by 3% within a decade. Luciano, who sits on VW’s national council of dealers, says dealers and automakers are actively recruiting future mechanics.
Many programs in this area are aimed at high school students. However, Luciano recommends initially involving elementary school students in the work.
“If you wait, they often have other career plans already,” he says of promising young mechanics. “Showing kids that auto mechanics do a lot of cool things and work with computers—that cars are like overgrown computers—it helps. It helps convey that message to them.”
When it comes to retaining newly hired service employees, it would also be good to chart a career path. “We show those who are starting out as a lube technician how they can get trained to become a C or B lube technician, then an A lube technician and maybe get certified as a lube technician, and then you’ll be earning six figures,” Luciano says. We want people to get up in the morning and say, “I want to make money today.” Most mechanics are just car enthusiasts who love cars and want to work with them.”
The Baker family opened an auto repair shop in Mansfield, Ohio in 1953. It still works today. “My whole life is connected with this industry and this topic,” he says, referring to the recruitment of auto mechanics.
He speaks of an “age-old delusion” about what a mechanic is. “If you walk into a modern service center, you will see smart, skilled people working in well-lit, high-tech environments using all sorts of modern tools. These are not “old monkeys”.
The average mechanic has been in the Baker family’s repair business for 17 years, the record being 45 years. “It shows that we have a great culture,” Baker says. It’s very simple: Treat people the way you want to be treated.”
Based on WardsAuto.
In Russia, this is also a rather painful topic. We have a very strong increase in the number of car services. This is due to the fact that many brands have left, cars have risen in price, and therefore people have become more careful about cars, better service them. But in services there is a huge problem of personnel. Qualified craftsmen are much less than needed.
We asked the experts what recommendations, practical tips and life hacks will help modern car services replenish their staff in the face of shortages, effectively train their employees and minimize staff turnover.
Dmitry Demchuk,
General Director of CardanBalance
A personnel crisis is brewing in Russia in the field of auto repair. This is due to many factors, including due to sanctions and the departure of international brands. Demand for auto repair services has grown along with the salary expectations of applicants for the position of auto mechanic. Some companies have started doubling their salaries in order to find a permanent employee, but there are not so many candidates. Most of all, auto repair shops are experiencing a shortage of master inspectors, turners, millers, design technologists and smart locksmiths. And if you can still find a locksmith and a craftsman for passenger cars, then it will be more difficult for agricultural machinery and urban transport.
It turned out to be too long to look for a candidate with certain skills: not every master is ready to fulfill a complex order. It is much easier to learn your own inside the company than to look for an experienced one right away for a big salary.
Everyone who comes to work at CardanBalance works together for several months with a senior foreman who has experience, he knows all the nuances of production and the sequence of processes. After, the master already begins to work independently, sometimes not so quickly, but already confidently, after a while he can be given an assistant. Even if he did not know how to do something, in six months or a year it is quite possible to teach and eventually hone his skills. I adopted this practice from Germany, where they purchased machine tools and other business equipment. German production has a whole institute for craftsmen who then work for a long time and periodically improve their skills. Until now, employees who work in one place all their lives are valued.
In each regional branch of “KardanBalance” there is a qualified master who has been working for more than 7-10 years in his position. Such an experienced master should not be let go, since an equivalent replacement can no longer be found for him. You need to invest in your masters, train them and motivate them to stay in their place. I am ready to take students on practice with subsequent employment, for example, under the state program. Unfortunately, some of the professions we need are no longer available in educational institutions.
Elena Yudenok,
tire and wheel expert of the Autoexpert tire center network
The shortage of car service technicians is a serious problem faced by many enterprises in this industry, and our company is no exception. Here are some tips and tricks that can help today’s auto repair shops replenish their staff, effectively train employees and reduce employee turnover:
on job sites. – Participate in job fairs and car shows to attract the attention of potential candidates. – Consider partnering with technical schools and colleges to attract students and graduates with technical backgrounds.
2. Employee training and development: – Develop a training program for new employees that includes both theoretical training and practical work under the guidance of experienced craftsmen. – Organize internal trainings and seminars to improve the skills of existing employees. – Consider sending employees to external courses and trainings so they can gain new knowledge and skills.
3. Create attractive working conditions: – Provide competitive wages and social security to attract and retain qualified craftsmen. – Provide a comfortable working environment, including modern equipment and tools. – Pay attention to the working atmosphere and team spirit to create an attractive and friendly environment for employees.
4. Strengthen links with educational institutions: – Build partnerships with technical schools and colleges to keep up to date with educational programs and have access to talented graduates. – Offer internships and internships for students so they can get hands-on experience in your auto repair shop.
5. Reputation and brand development: – Pay attention to the development of the reputation of your car service. Positive customer reviews and recommendations will help attract new professionals. – Actively participate in professional communities and forums where you can share your experience and knowledge, attracting the attention of potential candidates.
Let’s remember that managing people effectively and minimizing employee turnover is an ongoing process. It is important to create conditions for continuous training and development of employees, as well as pay attention to their needs and motivation.
Julia Mann,
General Director of MedMap
First of all, car services need to pay attention to working conditions in the company, to make them attractive to potential employees. This includes a competitive salary, bonus, flexible working hours, opportunities for professional development and other benefits.
A training and development program for car service mechanics needs to be designed and implemented. Such a program may include in-house training, on-the-job training, seminars and trainings. It is very important to invest in staff development so that they can do their job effectively. In addition, it is necessary to update the professional standards of the industry and create educational programs for young professionals.
Collaboration with local technical schools and colleges will help attract engineering students and graduates. Auto repair shops can offer internships and hands-on training opportunities for young professionals to gain work experience and develop their skills.
It is also necessary to provide comfortable working conditions and create a favorable working atmosphere, pay attention to safety, ergonomics and the tools necessary to do the job. It is also important to develop team spirit and establish effective communication between employees.

Children’s Learning Adventure – Infant Care in West Las Vegas, Nevada
Overview of our West Las Vegas’s Infant Care
Children’s Learning Adventure in West Las Vegas, Nevada understands that children are born with a vast capacity to learn when placed in a loving, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Our Infant Care is designed to stimulate infants cognitively through individual daily routines.
INFANT LEARNING STANDARDS
Physical Development and Health
Coordination of body and muscle control are developed during ‘Tummy Time’. Teachers engage infants in activities that enhance the development of gross and fine motor areas: including increasing the ability for awareness during teacher-child interactions, and attention seeking conversations.
Social Emotional
Infants form secure attachments with others through activities that focus on bonding. We implement a consistent caregiver model called primary care groups.
Language and Literacy
Language development is among one of the most important tasks of the first five years of a child’s life. Teachers implement our ‘Everyday Play’ activities including sign language to improve your infants’ communication skills. Infants interact with books every day, developing early book knowledge and print awareness.
Infant Care Core Curriculum in West Las Vegas, Nevada
Content areas promoting development in all disciplines:
Everyday Play
Infants need to have meaningful play in their daily activities. These activities create an environment that enables your infant’s brain to connect learning skills. These ‘Everyday Play’ activities will provide infants with opportunities to control and guide their learning.
Read to Me
Children’s literature is instrumental in early literacy from learning to turn the page to sharing a favorite story at the same time each day. Read to Me activities are more than just reading through a book. These activities provide opportunities for teachers to truly share the reading experience with infants.
Tummy Time
Infants develop their muscles by spending quality time on the floor, learning to stretch, and lifting their heads. Initially, this time can be uncomfortable for infants, but by directed activities with the teacher, infants will learn to love holding their heads high and seeing their new environments.
Mealtime Chatter
Mealtime is a wonderful time to interact and promote attention, bonding, and communication with infants during their feedings. Mealtime should be a calm, relaxed experience that initiates the infant bonding with their teacher, while engaging in a very vital component of development.
Rest and Relaxation
As infants experience many activities throughout the day, they need to have an opportunity to learn to relax in their environments with the guidance and direction of their teachers. As infants discover how to calm themselves, they learn that they can control their environments.
Talking Through Transitions
Infants experience several transitions throughout their day, beginning with the good-bye to their parents, first thing in the morning. Transitions need to be recognized as learning experiences and opportunities to provide attention, bonding, and on-going communication for an infant. These transition activities provide the teacher with an understanding for moving smoothly through the day from one transition to the next.
Routines and Repetition
Research has proven that repetition is imperative for learning to occur. Routines are essential in creating a sense of security and predictability for infants in their classroom environments. Establishing routines and repetition in the infant’s day-to-day activities creates a positive, warm, and nurturing environment.
Children’s Learning Adventure is the best infant care provider in West Las Vegas, Nevada.

Playing a little drunk We got used to playing on stage. But the halves of us then scold, They do not believe in this change in life.
It seems to them that all this is for contrast, That in life we are always like glass. To lie, my friend, I see that you are much, At least count, ashamed, your years.
We learned to separate life and stage, Each time playing someone else’s role. But only the scenery has changed, So let me skip the check.
Yes, if we have at least a couple of green ones, We use them to make our way to the bar in the fall. Easy to play with drinks for us lovers, But we keep a sense of duty to drink.
Take at least an example now from the revelers, Ogarochek is always for his happiness. There was little left in him from the bully, Having believed in the holy in communion.
Wait, friend, don’t pester the guests, They want to watch us and the show. We sail among them, as if on the seas. Are you stormy? You say “soberly”: “No”.
Oh, what a short muse for a poet, I silently asked you with my eyes. We, the society of guardians and light, They clapped their hands and watched how we were in the hall.
And by the way, this is only self-conceit, An amusing number passed by the artist. The girl cheered everyone up.. The bouquet was sent to the pianist as soon as possible…
…I’ll say: “What do you want?” Without pretending to the faithful: “Today,” he said, “not in one eye.”

Museum of Crime
The museum has collected a lot of detailed material about American crime over the past 100 years, including the political, sports, cinema, international and all other mafia. al. There is also about us, but so, in passing. Everything is done in the classic style of the film “Only Girls in Jazz” – bandits in velor hats and wide jackets, a lot of documents, numbers and film materials, there is an electric chair with a switch – you sit down, turn it on and the light starts flashing, very impressive. There is a souvenir shop and even a retro-style cafe for a complete immersion in the criminal atmosphere. In a word, interesting, but for our tourist a little naive. In the sense that for such a museum at home, a building of a much more impressive size would be needed. That’s all for now, next stop – Death Valley.

Of course, the wonder hotel, magnificent interiors, shopping esplanade, botanical gardens and theater are all just bait to the Wynn Hotel-Casino’s main asset – its casino. Apparently it works! Attracted by the sign of a branded hotel, visitors either turn into its guests and casino regulars, or at least once enter the gaming room and leave some money there. But even to say in passing that he lost a hundred dollars anywhere, but in a casino, Wynn is worth a lot!

Best View of Vegas…
Climbed the tower with friends just because of the promised view of the Bellagio singing fountains… even though it was a hot August, but the wind cool! Travel Tips
Anytime is a great time to visit Las Vegas, which is located in the desert and therefore enjoys year-round sunshine. Summer, from June to August, can be blindingly hot, but fear not, all rooms are air conditioned.
Weather in Las Vegas
Located in the middle of the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas has hot and dry summers with mild winters and plenty of sunshine all year round. In midsummer, in July and August, mercury often hovered above 38 C.
Winters are cooler and bring windswept nights, with daytime highs around 16 C and cool nights averaging 4 C.
Light rainfall usually falls in winter, from January to March. In summer sometimes late thunderstorms approach from Mexico.
Las Vegas residents
Las Vegas locals are always smiling. This polite habit of Americans is no longer surprising, but why do they smile at strangers? It turns out that this is an awkward situation – to look into the eyes of a stranger, and to smooth this moment – people smile.
Another unspoken rule in Las Vegas is about personal space. For example, do not approach people in line. Everyone obeys the rules! There is no point in getting nervous and thinking about how to get to work or somewhere to exceed the speed limit.
The locals also have a habit against manners: they have a strange way of licking their fingers in public places and at home, without embarrassment.
Tours from Las Vegas
Although the city is mostly known for its artificial sheen, many wonderful natural attractions draw visitors from Las Vegas. Popular city tours include visiting the spectacular Grand Canyon, the engineering marvel of the Hoover Dam, and the beautiful desert scenery of Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire.
Hoover Dam
Stretching 380 meters across the Colorado River, the Hoover Dam holds the waters of Lake Mead and is a fine example of the engineering of its time. One of the world’s most famous dams, the Hoover Dam was built during the Great Depression in the 1930s – one of the many massive public works projects commissioned by the US government to get people back to work.
The dam employed thousands of people from all over the country, and its hydroelectric plant continues to provide electricity to Nevada and neighboring states. In addition to engineering achievements,
Lake Mead National Recreation Area is popular with both watersports enthusiasts and sunbathers.
Grand Canyon
At 446 km long and up to 29 km wide, the breathtaking splendor of the Grand Canyon is so impressive that words simply cannot justify it. One of the greatest natural wonders of the world, it was formed by the cutting of the Colorado River over millions of years, when the harder rock formations remained great cliffs, pinnacles and hills, and the various layers of rocks had a variety of colors: purple, fiery red and pastel. pinks to yellows, browns, grays and soft blues.
Whether on foot or horseback, from a plane or helicopter, aboard a raft down the mighty Colorado River, or simply gazing in awe at the edge, the seemingly endless depths of the canyon can be explored in a variety of ways. The park receives crowds of visitors from all over the world who can’t help but be blown away by the sculpted rock forms, changing colors, with light and a tiny glimpse of the Colorado River far below.
Grand Canyon National Park consists of two separate areas: the south and the more remote north. The distance from the canyon to 16 km is 346 km from one visitor center to another, and the southern edge, being the most accessible with more facilities, sees about 90 percent park visitors. The northern edge is higher in elevation and wetter, with thicker surrounding forests, and is farther away and usually closed due to snow between mid-October and mid-May, but many people prefer the comparative tranquility of its less crowded lookouts.
Both rims have several driveways and walkways along the rim with numerous viewpoints for viewing from different angles, as well as several hikes down into the canyon where you can spend the night at Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the canyon.
The impact of millions of visitors a year on the South Rim, especially during the busy summer months, has a negative impact on the park, where overcrowding and traffic congestion are common. Despite all the inconveniences, it is an unforgettable experience to visit one of the most striking examples of erosion in the world.
Red Rock Canyon
Red Rock Canyon is a spectacular valley 10 miles west of Las Vegas and it’s a good hike to avoid the neon lights of the slot machines. Its distinguishing feature is the steep slope of the Red Rock, which rises to 914 m along its western edge.
Today, the dramatic landscape is teeming with cacti and Joshua trees and is a good place for walking, climbing, biking or just taking a scenic drive.
The Mojave Desert is not as barren as it may seem, the place is teeming with rare life and beauty – waterfalls crash into canyons, and high above the red mountains tailed hawks seek their food. To experience the natural beauty of Nevada, there is no better place to explore.
Valley of Fire
Valley of Fire State Park is Nevada’s oldest park and is named for its red sandstone formations that look like they’re on fire when the sun reflects off them.
The rocks were formed over 150 million years ago when dinosaurs roamed the area. Aside from the rugged beauty of the surrounding Mojave Desert, the park’s main attractions are the well-preserved petroglyphs that adorn the many red sandstone structures left there by the ancient Pueblo people, also known as the Anasazi.
This rock art has been variously dated from 300 BC. before 1150 AD Visitors should head to Atlatl Rock to see some of the finest examples of ancient Indian rock art or petroglyphs, including a depiction of the atlatl, which is a serrated stick used to propel spears, the forerunner of the bow and arrow. Other activities here include hiking and camping.
Las Vegas Attractions
When you visit Las Vegas, you quickly realize that the city itself is the biggest attraction. You can just stroll down the Strip and bask in the fluorescent lights, hum in the traffic, ping the slot machines and absorb the incredible energy of this incredibly exciting desert city. A century ago, there was nothing special here, but since then Las Vegas has become one of the fastest growing cities in the world.
Key attractions are, of course, the extravagant casinos The Strip, competing to attract passers-by with lavish displays and performances. Most people come to Las Vegas to play, party, or maybe get married in one of the famous chapels, but the city is also an entertainment hub, offering theme parks, incredible pools, giant malls, and more. Music lovers should head to the Liberace Museum and the many grand shows, and car fans won’t want to miss the world-class car collection.
If you are hiking, do so at night, when the lights have the most impact and the temperature is coolest. During the day, make the most of the city buses that run the entire lane.
Las Vegas may seem brash and sleazy at first, but this fun and fantasy-filled city is described as the world’s largest theme park and attracts kids. The city is making an effort to attract families, and of course they have something to lure them in. Nestled in the middle of the vast Mojave Desert, this lively resort offers everything from wildlife viewing to theme parks and shopping malls. Naturally, there are many places in Vegas that are not suitable for children, but there has been a concerted effort to accommodate families, with family resorts springing up in and around the city.
Kids on vacation in Las Vegas will be immediately impressed by the recreated skylines of New York and Paris seen from The Strip and revel in the adventurous glimpse of exploring the canals of Venice or the Egyptian pyramids.
In an attempt to lure casino players into spending all their cash, accommodations and restaurants in Las Vegas are surprisingly affordable – a real benefit for families on vacation.
The pursuit of pleasure by both parents and children is possible all year round. Summer in Las Vegas is very hot, but everything is air conditioned.
Bellagio
Bellagio is one of the most luxurious hotels in Las Vegas and the most popular casinos. With an Italian theme, the bulk of Bellagio is in its own huge garden.
It has over 3,000 rooms, hundreds of slot machines and gaming tables. However, its most famous attraction is the amazing water show – a breathtaking union of water, music and light. From 15:00 to midnight (12:00 on weekends), the world-famous Bellagio Fountains “dance” to operatic, classical or whimsical music with carefully choreographed movements.
Behind the graceful lobby of the Bellagio is the Conservatory and the Botanical Garden, a magnificent garden full of fragrance, texture and color. The hotel also has a new fine arts gallery that hosts contemporary art exhibitions.
Fremont Street
Also known as “Shiny Gorge” for the bright neon signs and the thousands of flashing lights that line the streets, you’ll find Vegas Vic and Sassy Sal, two of the country’s most famous neon icons.
Some of the city’s most famous vintage casinos are located here, including the Golden Nugget and Gold Spike, as well as most of the strip clubs and stage shows.
Most of the entertainment is near the Freemont Street Experience. Fremont Street embraces the iconic look of Vegas, giving people exactly what they expect when they think of the glitzy casino city.
Auto Collection
With over 250 classic vintage cars on display, the Imperial Palace Auto Collection is a must for car enthusiasts. This is actually part of a large collection and the cars are regularly changed in the showroom.
All cars are available for purchase and once a car is sold it is replaced with another one. The exhibit features rare models, racing cars, performance cars, touring roadsters and dozens of cars that were once owned by the rich and famous.
Considered to be one of the largest and finest collections of classic cars in the world, this massive showroom is a gas head heaven and very popular with Vegas tourists.
MGM Grand
MGM Grand, one of the most famous casinos in Las Vegas and was the largest hotel in the world, opened in 1993 with over 5,000 rooms. The complex also houses about 19 restaurants, many shops and nightclubs, a conference center and a spa.
The MGM Grand was the most famous attraction for many years, but the casino closed in early 2012 as part of a major renovation. Today, MGM Grand is home to many exciting entertainment venues. The MGM, an iconic Vegas landmark, has thrilled and entertained visitors for years.
Mandalay Bay
The 44-story Mandalay Bay Hotel is one of the largest on the Las Vegas Strip with over 3,000 hotel rooms and a 12,500 sqm casino.
The tropical-themed resort has a number of popular family attractions, including a marine aquarium with a shark reef and massive stage performances ranging from Broadway musicals to stage productions.
However, the most popular attraction in Mandalay Bay is Mandalay Beach, an 11-acre swimming pool that has three heated pools, a wave pool, a lazy river and a children’s pool. The Mandalay Bay Hotel has its own bar and restaurants.
Luxor
The ancient Egyptian themed Luxor Hotel is one of the most famous attractions on the Las Vegas Strip. It is a massive black glass pyramid containing 36 floors of hotel rooms. It shines through the night sky with one of the most powerful beams of light in the world, which they claim is visible on planes circling Los Angeles.
The ground floor of the hotel is reserved for a huge casino, which stands under the tomb of King Tut. In addition to gambling, entertainment at the hotel includes an IMAX theater, gyms, swimming pools and exhilarating shows of comedians, dancers and singers. The Luxor is a Vegas landmark and one of the most popular casinos and hotels in the city.
Treasure Island
No longer the pirate family haven it used to be, Treasure Island has reinvented itself as an adult-oriented contemporary resort. Sirens of TI Free Show is a must-see special effects show on the Las Vegas Strip, with music, explosions and beautiful women.
Treasure Island is also home to the show and offers many restaurants and nightclubs. Famous comedians and musicians regularly perform at the resort. Treasure Island, while not a family resort, is an exciting adult destination in Vegas and one of the city’s perennial favorites.
Amusement Park
The Adventuredome glass theme park is the perfect attraction for those looking for a thrill-seeking Las Vegas vacation. Its loop rollercoasters and other harrowing rides are not to be missed. If that adrenaline rush is too much, you can also see magic shows here, as well as plenty of treats like ice cream, popcorn, and candies.
There are also rides and activities designed for younger children who may not be old enough to ride the main attractions. The fact that the theme park is indoors is an added bonus, protecting visitors from Nevada’s sometimes inhospitable climate.
Buffalo Bill
Buffalo Bill Amusement Park is a great place for kids to enjoy everything from diving into the ground, defying gravity, or walking on a fabulous lake.
Buffalo Bill is an excellent Las Vegas resort choice for families traveling with children as the resort caters to adults and children alike and is known for its high energy live performances as well as an amusement park and playgrounds. The kids will be happy and busy as the adults take in the more adult sights of the resort.
Las Vegas Festivals
Jazz Festival
The annual Las Vegas City Jazz and R&B Festival takes place at the Clark County Government Amphitheater, where festival-goers can enjoy days in the Nevada heat to listen to the good old beat and blues.
Those looking for a good time should bring a camping chair, sunhat, some snacks and refreshments and go to the stage to watch the live performances. Souvenirs and food stalls are also available.
Rock and Roll Marathon
The Las Vegas Rock and Roll Marathon runs along the Strip where runners can enjoy the sights and sounds of Sin City and spectators can enjoy live entertainment including music.
Runners and spectators alike can look forward to an energetic run and party that captures the wild Vegas spirit. The half marathon has a wave start, allowing runners plenty of room to enjoy the run and side activities along the way.
Burning Man Festival
Burning Man Festival is one of the most unique festivals in the world. More than 20,000 people from all over the world take part in it every year. This is a celebration of art, creativity and humanity. Unlike most other festivals in the world, there is no commerce, no shops, no rock stars, no rollercoasters.
It’s just a meeting, albeit a very large one. The tranquility of the area makes festival goers feel at ease. The emphasis is on community and people helping each other. On the final day, the Burning Man bonfire takes place, setting the sky on fire as the community dances around. Due to the non-commercial nature of the festival, attendees are advised to bring whatever they may need with them.
Rodeo
Referred to as the “Super Bowl Rodeo”, cowboys and cowgirls from across America and Canada train throughout the year in hopes of becoming one of the top 15 to claim victory and compete for prize money. Activities include bull riding, team stunts, bronco saddle, bareback, steering wrestling, and barrel racing.
There is no better place to experience the still enduring US cowboy culture. The competition includes food stalls and rides that should be fun for the whole family.
Las Vegas Restaurant
There was a time when Las Vegas restaurants were known for more than food. This was due to legendary casino buffets that offered mountains of food at modest prices on the well-calculated assumption that diners would play long hours at the tables or slot machines, and stay longer in the casino if they ate generously.
Today, however, Las Vegas has a large selection of world-class eateries, especially Italian cuisine, classic French fine dining and luxurious steakhouses.
Some of the country’s best chefs are now in Las Vegas and new restaurants are opening weekly. In addition, Vegas is home to several world-class sommeliers. Restaurants have certainly become one of the many entertainment venues in Vegas where restaurants attract the attention of many diners.
All this growing activity and more competition means that Vegas offers decent value for money compared to other major cities.
The end result is that the former 99 cent shrimp cocktail capital is now regarded as the cuisine capital of the world. When it comes to food at least the odds are really in your favor. Don’t panic, huge buffets are still available!
Shopping
Las Vegas is one of the world’s shopping capitals. There are over 20 malls, each with a unique theme and each offering prices that retailers in other cities are trying to compete with.
Las Vegas Town Square shops are mostly on the street, so you can enjoy a friendly walking atmosphere while exploring the wide range of shops. The town square also offers an eclectic selection of restaurants, a newly built spa and a lovely interactive kids park.
Caesars Palace is home to extremely popular shopping with over 220,000 square meters of retail space. The Fashion Show Mall at 3200 Las Vegas Boulevard is well worth a visit for incredible deals. The recently refurbished Boulevard Mall, with over 170 stores, is also a good option.
The Strip is known for its designer boutiques and all the big names are represented here. Away from The Strip and the luxury malls, you can find more individual stores selling Las Vegas collectibles like old gambling chips, esoteric books, and weird clothes. Two markets that are really worth visiting are Broadacres Swap Meet and Fantastic Indoor Swapmeet.
Las Vegas at night
There’s a reason they say “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” With world-class bars, clubs, strip clubs, casinos, and international shows hosted for years, it’s no surprise that Las Vegas has earned itself the fame, and often infamy, as one of the party capitals of the world.
The world famous Strip can be soft and muddy during the day, but the minute the sun goes down this desert oasis comes to life. The real problem when heading out for the night on the Strip is choosing where to start.
There are always major comedy or musical acts and big Broadway plays to be seen in major hotels throughout the city. World famous wizards like David Copperfield and Criss Angel, singers like Celine Dion, Bette Midler and Cher and famous actors call Las Vegas home.
Hotels in Las Vegas offering great entertainment include the Bellagio, the Venetian, Caesar’s Palace, Mandalay Bay, Treasure Island and the MGM Grand.
Casinos in Las Vegas are also the best place for nightclubs and bars. Famous clubs host celebrity parties almost every weekend.
Las Vegas Transportation
Most trips to Las Vegas are limited to the Strip and downtown so there is no need to hire a car as both are easily accessible on foot and there are several modes of transportation that can be used.
Local buses run all the way to the city center and operate 24/7 at a fixed price including transfers. The old-fashioned Las Vegas Strip Trolley also operates the entire length of the Strip from 8:30 am to midnight, and the Downtown Trolley simultaneously circles between the Stratosphere and downtown.
A modern monorail runs over the streets and operates from 7:00 am to 3:00 am between the Sahara Hotel and the MGM Grand. Taxis are plentiful and can be found queuing outside every hotel and casino, as well as at taxi ranks. Cars are the most practical way to explore the Las Vegas area.
Las Vegas Airport
Most flights to Sin City operate through Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. McCarran is the largest airport in Las Vegas and by far the busiest in Nevada.
Las Vegas McCarran International Airport is clean and well maintained with few complaints about long queues. The airport is made up of three terminals and offers a variety of diversions to keep passengers busy while they wait, ranging from nearly ubiquitous arcade machines to an art gallery and even a gym.
Due to its status as one of the most popular holiday destinations in the US, flights to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport operate worldwide, including major European cities.
Travel Tips
Local casinos are restricted to people over the age of 21.
Guests are prohibited from using mobile phones and other means of communication during their stay in gambling establishments.
Many luxury restaurants have a dress code – only guests in suits and evening dresses are allowed in. It is also worth thinking about ordering a table in advance.
Those looking to save on accommodation should consider booking a room at the Fremont Street hotel. Prices in local hotels are really below average.
Tourists who always want to be in the center of action will find hotels located in the Strip area more suitable. It should be noted that accommodation prices here are among the highest in the city.
Smoking is prohibited in large restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment centers. It is also forbidden to smoke on some streets of the city, so be sure to pay attention to the prohibition signs. However, every entertainment venue and mall will certainly have a dedicated smoking area.
Valuables should be kept in a safe in the hotel room. Do not take valuables and large sums of money with you unless absolutely necessary, as you can become a victim of pickpockets in public places.
Those tourists who are planning to rent a car should not forget about the problem of “lack of parking”. It’s really hard to find a parking space near government offices, malls and casinos.
Citizens under the age of 21 may be denied car rentals. Some companies are 25 years old.
In large stores, restaurants and hotels, you can pay with international credit cards – Visa, American Express, Master Card and others.
The average amount of tips is about 10 – 15% of the total bill. You can also leave a small fee for hotel staff and porters. 0.25 – $1 should be enough.

Q&A with Ms. Thuy
What inspires you to care for young children?
It’s so amazing to watch kids flourish! At this age, they’re learning and changing so quickly, and it’s thrilling to figure out what each individual needs. It’s different every time. What works for one child may not be helpful to another, and that’s what keeps every day so engaging. Seeing the kids develop, both socially and emotionally, is always exciting. There are so many small moments like that: when two friends meet for the first time or when a child draws something they’re really proud of, for example. Those moments make this job so special. Taking care of children has been a lifelong passion; over the years, I’ve had the joy of mentoring so many wonderful kids and watching them grow into incredible, unique adults. It’s so heartening to think that I had a small part in their journey.
What’s a typical day like at your daycare?
At this daycare, we will be speaking mostly in Vietnamese. This will be particularly beneficial for children who have recently immigrated to the United States, or who speak Vietnamese at home with their families. (It would also be great for kids who are really interested in learning Vietnamese; immersion is such an effective teaching method when it comes to language!) This shared language will hopefully make their transition into daycare a little bit easier. My goal is to make the kids in my program feel as comfortable as possible, so they can thrive in a safe and understanding community and prepare the skills they’ll need for kindergarten. Our days will be full of fun activities, like arts and crafts and free play. We’re right next door to the local park, which means we spend a lot of time outside, too! The kids love visiting the playground because it’s additional space for them to run around—and it makes them feel like they’re at the heart of their neighborhood.
What’s one thing parents should know about your program?
Caregiving is most successful when it’s a communal effort! The children (and their parents and guardians) will feel like they’re part of a family. Back in Vietnam, I was everyone’s favorite go-to babysitter; I’ve helped raise over 20 family members over the years, including my own two children. Parents should feel more than welcome coming to me for advice. We’ll work as partners in this exciting process of guiding the next generation. Parents might also be happy to know that my daughter, Vy, is also working at this program as a part-time assistant. This extra help means that the kids in this program will receive twice the attention and support!
Think Ms. Thuy might be a good fit?

Rates & Openings
Daycare rates depend on how old your child will be and what your schedule looks like. 5 days / week might get a slight discount, and infant rates are usually more than toddlers’. Finding a spot also depends on age and schedule because each daycare has a limited number of openings for each age range.
There is 1 home daycare in Westlake Village. Most care for 6 to 10 children and take both infants and toddlers. All home daycares are licensed by the DFPS – Texas Child Care Licensing, just like preschool centers.

Let’s find a really good daycare for you
Get your own recommendations based on your preferences, daily routine, and what matters most to you.
Your family is unique to you, but some of your questions might not be. 😉 Here’s what most parents want to know when starting out.
What is NeighborSchools?
Hey there, nice to meet you 👋 We’re a new-ish startup that helps new-ish parents find daycare.
We know how hard finding good child care can be – especially for first-time parents. But really good care is what gives you the peace of mind to go back to work and feel confident that your child is getting the stimulation, socialization, and support they need to learn and grow.
So we created NeighborSchools to make this piece of parenthood a whole lot easier. We say “easier” because, let’s be honest, it’s still a big thing to figure out, but working together we can help you find some good options, understand the whole process, and choose a program you’ll feel really good about.
How’s it work?
Most first-time parents don’t know exactly what they’re looking for, so we created a simple survey that will ask you questions about your lifestyle, your daily routines, and your preferences for child care. We’ll then share 3 personalized recommendations that we think might be a good fit. We’ll also give you a timeline that maps out when we would suggest you start touring programs, choose a daycare, and pay a deposit to secure a spot. Your timeline is based on when you want to start care – so you set the pace, and you decide when you’ve found the right match.
Is there a cost?
Nope. Our daycare recommendation service is free for parents. The other half of our business is helping these small-scale daycares with software and services that handle all their administrative tasks, like online contracting, payment processing, and licensing requirements. Before NeighborSchools, services like these were only designed for large corporate child care centers, and part of our mission is to level the playing field for small, independent child care programs. That’s why we picked the name NeighborSchools – we’re all about making child care more personal, more human, and more equitable for the incredible individuals who do this work and care for our children.
How do I know if I’m ready to take the survey?
Generally, if you’re here, you’re ready. The survey lets us give you 3 recommendations to consider, but it’ll also help you better understand what factors to consider, and what questions to be asking right now. It’s simple things like where you live, your child’s date of birth, when you want to start care, and if you have any preferences around program philosophy or language of instruction. If you’re planning 6+ months ahead, it’s a great way to get started, and if you’re hoping to start daycare in the next 2-4 months, it’s definitely time to get started. Click here to start the survey.
How do I know if a daycare has openings?
Each program has a limited number of spots for each age range, so we need to know your schedule and child’s age before we can share availability. The survey covers these basics, as well as factors like drop-off and pick-up times to make sure that recommended programs fit your daily routine. Once we know your child’s age and schedule we can share rates and costs as well.
More questions? Text or email – we’re here to help.
We’re online Monday – Friday from 8am to 6pm Eastern.

A Harris County free child care program is set to start, and advocates say it’s needed because child care centers across the state are in crisis.
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A Harris County free child care program is set to start in days, and advocates say it couldn’t come at a better time because the child care centers across the state are in crisis.
Sending your kid to child care is too much for some parents.
“If you want to go to a better place and a better area, it’s going to be $300 and up per child,” Paola Diaz explained.
Diaz said child care costs are why she’s at home spending summer days at the library instead of work.
“It keeps you from trying to work, or do other stuff around,” Diaz said. “It is hard.”
Harris County is looking to help. This month, an Early REACH program starts. The county is using $26 million in federal funds to cover child care costs. If you live in the county, have a kid under age four, and meet the income requirements, you could receive free child care.
“There are so many child care deserts around Harris County and we want to provide not only free child care, but high quality child care,” BakerRipley spokesperson Frederick Goodall said.
Advocates said this is a statewide problem. Texas Care for Children said a family of four spends nearly $20,000 a year in child care.
During the pandemic, the state spent millions on this issue. It’s funding that has dried up.
During this past session, advocates lawmakers didn’t do enough to fund child care.
“That funding would’ve supported the continuation of stabilization grants that the state launched during the pandemic that were critical to keeping programs open,” Texas Care for Children early learning policy director David Feigen said.
Advocates said it’s not only the cost of child care, but workers’ pay. On average, they make $11 an hour.
Without assistance, it could cause facilities to close. It’s a problem they say has already caused child care deserts, mainly in low-income communities.
“It means they have to find alternative arrangements for their kids and for some kids that means arrangements that are not high quality or children are stuck in front of a television screen rather than getting read to be a teacher and engaging with other kids,” Feigen explained.
Without work, parents aren’t spending money. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce said Texas loses $9 billion a year in revenue because of parents not working. That’s money that could go to infrastructure, teachers, and other state projects, which is why advocates say programs like the one the county will launch this month are important for us all.

Conclusion
From the data collected, it is clear that there are many benefits to working at Walmart. The company pays its employees well, whether it’s bi-weekly or weekly. Workers can rely on a regular income to support themselves and their families.
Gossip’s everywhere. You can find it in the office at daily water cooler congregations, whispers through cubicle cracks, and through text messages sent under work tables.
Even if you can’t escape it, there’s one place where you don’t want rumors to run rampant — on employer review sites. Top-tier candidates are going to Google you before they submit their resumes, and one of their stops will be Glassdoor.
“There are places where conversations and reviews are happening. And employers should be paying attention to them.”
But in an era where social media dominates the attention of the Snapchat generation, you better believe candidates armed with smartphones are savvier than that. They vent their job search woes wherever they can. It’s up to companies to keep up with the hashtags and address the “haters” when they can. Your company reputation and employer brand depends on it.
We asked Joel Cheesman, founder of Ratedly, where employers may be missing out when it comes to wrangling in employer reviews. His answer? There’s more than just Glassdoor.
“There are places where conversations and reviews are happening,” Cheesman said. “And employers should be paying attention to them.”
Here are some other sites to consider as you monitor employer reviews:
All Things Indeed
Indeed is already a big player when it comes to job listings, and according to Cheesman, it’s an important place for recruiters to spot employer reviews, too.
“I wouldn’t say Indeed is half, or one-for-one,” Cheesman said. “But they are probably three-to-one in terms of just quantity — so it has to be one that people are checking out.”
Get Industry Specific
Joining groups and social networks with professionals in the same industry is a big networking tactic for career development. It’s important for recruiters to identify where discussions on the industry (and the companies involved) are taking place.
“If your industry warrants your attention, then you should give it.”
“If your industry warrants your attention, then you should give it,” Cheesman said. “For example, there’s a site called Truckers Forum…if you’re hiring truckers in any capacity, then you need to pay attention to Truckers Forum because that’s where the reviews happen.”
Do Your Reddit Research
Reddit is a treasure trove of information. It’s also host to a laundry list of forums, (known as subreddits) that tackle almost every subject imaginable, including job advice and recruitment issues.
Reddit is also a magnet for technical types, which may make it a good place to scout out reviews and potential employee misconduct, as one short-lived Google employee learned the hard way.
The Quora Forum
Quora is another open forum for people to post honest questions and receive community feedback.
“I think Quora, another site that we [at Ratedly] monitor is important because you get some pretty thoughtful answers to questions,” Cheesman said.
Avoid The Hashtag Horror Story
What makes Twitter a blessing (and a potential curse) is its immediacy. Data shows that more than 70 percent of job seekers that have a bad candidate experience will post about it online, so it’s important to keep an eye on your company mentions. You don’t want to end up as another horror story pinned with the infamous #RecruiterFails hashtag, so keep a tight ship and be prepared to respond accordingly when faced with negative reviews.
The Bottom Line
Employer branding is the first line of defense when it comes to attracting the types of job seekers you want for your company. By learning more about where conversations about your company — and your industry — are happening in real-time, you can better gauge how to appeal to candidates in ways that are not only relatable, but actionable.
How to Use Employer Review Sites to Build Your Employer Brand
Resources How to Use Employer Review Sites to Build Your Employer Brand
How to Use Employer Review Sites to Build Your Employer Brand
Any business knows how important reviews are for their brand. Reviews give customers a clearer idea of the products or services they’re purchasing and help them decide whether or not they’re worth the money. Chances are, you’ve probably even checked out a review — or a few dozen — before swiping your card to make a purchase.
But product ratings aren’t the only type of review that should matter to companies. Employer reviews — or what employees have to say about what it’s like to work at your company — are just as important.
Employees in today’s workforce value far more than compensation, and they’re turning to third-party employer review websites to get the information they need to make informed decisions in their job search. In turn, these sites have become increasingly important to companies’ employer branding strategies.
Not sure how to manage your image online? We’ve rounded up some of our best tips on how you can use employer review sites to build your employer brand.
Why is employer branding so important?
Employer branding— a. k.a. your company’s reputation as an employer — affects your company’s ability to attract and hire the best employees. A strong employer brand translates to reduced recruitment costs, better employee retention rates, a great candidate experience, and more.
It’s actually pretty simple:
Being a place people want to work = numerous benefits for your company.
Being a company that people steer clear of due to a poor employer reputation = bad news for your business.
What role do employer review sites play in branding?
Employer branding doesn’t just happen in one place. It is conveyed in person through your candidate experience and workplace culture. It is shared online through your careers page and your social media pages. It’s amplified when publications write about the workplace you’ve created. But, perhaps most of all, it is built on third-party employer review sites.
Any company can say that they are a great place to work. But what really matters is what current and former employees have to say about their experience. Consider these stats:
Over 85% of employees and job seekers research company reviews and ratings to decide where to apply to a job.
57% of job seekers won’t even apply to a company that has overwhelmingly negative reviews.
How to use employer review sites to build your brand
Approximately one-third of a person’s life will be spent at work. People want to know that their time is going to be spent wisely. Here’s how companies can use review sites to highlight their unique culture and attract top talent.
1. Develop a strategy
Employer branding isn’t something that just happens. If your organization hasn’t done so already, you’ll need to map out a branding strategy that accounts for your organization’s needs and goals.
During the strategy phase, you will work together to:
Set goals: Determine the main objective of your branding efforts. Do you want to attract highly qualified candidates? Get more applicants? Reduce the overall time to hire?
Define your employee value proposition: Think about the unique things that you offer your employees. Is it a stellar compensation package? A sense of purpose in the work that your employees do? A laid-back work environment?
Identify candidate touchpoints: Decide what channels (such as review sites, social media, your company careers page, etc.) you’ll use to promote your employer brand.
This is also a good time to get down to the nitty-gritty and nail down specifics, such as the overall wording and messaging you want to use to describe your workplace.
2. Create a profile or claim ownership of your company on review sites
Once you have a roadmap, you can set out to implement your strategy.
The first step is to create profiles or claim ownership of existing profiles on employer review sites. After you are able to edit or submit information, go over the profile to make sure all provided company data on review sites is correct and accurately portrays your company. If something is wrong, correct it.
Don’t leave anything on your company’s profile blank. The purpose of these profiles is to give your candidates all the information they’re seeking. Use every opportunity to share details about benefits, your mission and values, short bios of key people, photos, and videos. Stick to your messaging and showcase areas that make your company stand out among employers.
3. Empower your employees to provide honest feedback
The best feedback is honest feedback — even if it’s not exactly what you want to hear. It’s important that employers empower their employees to provide truthful feedback.
You can encourage honest feedback by showing employees that what they have to say matters, whether it’s on a review site, in person, or elsewhere. Ask for feedback often and show genuine interest in what they have to say. Emphasize that there will be no negative repercussions for complaints and avoid getting defensive if you don’t like what an employee has to share. Remember: You’re working to improve your chances of attracting high-quality applicants in the future.
By creating a culture where employees’ voices are heard and valued, you can expect to receive better, more impactful evaluations.
4. Respond to reviews, both positive and negative
If an employee takes the time to leave a review, show your appreciation by responding if the site allows you to.
If you get a negative review, don’t panic — and don’t ignore it. Instead, take this as an opportunity to listen and learn. According to one survey,62% of job seekers say that their perception of a company improves after seeing an employer respond to a review. It shows potential candidates that you care about the employee experience and are committed to improvement.
When responding to a critique, be professional. Thank the employee for taking the time to leave a review, and address the specific issues that they present. Let them know how you plan on fixing the issue if it hasn’t been resolved already.
5. Take advantage of opportunities to be transparent
Some review sites give employers extra opportunities to be transparent. For example, at JobSage, we encourage companies to become Trusted Employers. To earn this recognition, a company lets JobSage directly survey 100% of their employee base so that job seekers can hear from those that know best — current employees — exactly what it’s like to work there.
Most job seekers know that no company is going to be perfect. They do, however, want to know which ones can be honest.
6. Use information from employer review sites to make actionable change
Perhaps the best way to use an employer review site is to use the data that you receive to make actionable changes in your organization. For instance, if a number of employees say that they are dissatisfied with the lack of growth opportunities, it’s probably time to take a look at how your organization promotes employees and how you can contribute to professional development.
When you make changes based on the feedback you receive, be sure to highlight these actions. This will show employees — former, current, and future — that their voice matters and will encourage more transparent feedback in the future.
Conclusion
If you want to attract the best employees, you need to be an employer that job seekers are eager to work for. Employer review sites can be a helpful tool that allows you to showcase what makes your company unique and learn from employees about the pain points of their experience. By using employer review sites to your advantage, you can strengthen your employer brand and make the right hires.

How to check the employer – Tatcentr.ru
Avito Rabota development manager Dmitry Puchkov gave a checklist of eight rules – how not to run into a fraudulent employer.
Employers cheat job seekers. Most often this happens during interviews and probationary periods. Three-quarters of candidates have encountered unscrupulous employers at least once in their lives.
Most often, in job descriptions, companies are cunning about the level of salary, duties and working conditions. But it also happens that candidates are required to pay for some services and they try to involve them in illegal activities. Let’s figure out how to protect yourself from such surprises.
Dmitry Puchkov emphasizes that less than half of Kazan residents are aware of the possibility of self-checking the employer’s reliability using open sources of the year. On the one hand, an increase in the number of vacancies is good, because there are plenty to choose from. On the other hand, the risk of meeting an unscrupulous employer and losing time, nerves, and possibly money also increases: according to statistics, a quarter of job seekers understand that something is wrong only after employment.
At the same time, the results of a recent study by Avito Rabota showed that less than half of the residents of Kazan (47%) are aware of the possibility of self-checking the reliability of an employer using open Internet sources. This checklist will help you quickly check the company to save time.
Check the registration of the employer
To do this, look at the Unified State Register of Legal Entities or EGRIP on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. This way you can make sure that the employer is registered as a legal entity or individual entrepreneur and really conducts business and pays taxes. You can also use the service of the Federal Tax Service “Transparent Business”.
Read testimonials from former employees
This will help you form an opinion about the employer and understand if a job in this company suits you. But you should always remember that negative reviews can be written by offended employees who themselves did not work well, or even competitors. Take this information critically.
Read documents carefully before signing them
It happens that an employer offers to conclude a civil law contract instead of an employment contract. In this case, there will be no labor relations between you, which are regulated by the Labor Code. If this option does not suit you, it is better not to waste time and continue the search.
Also, be sure to read the job description – more than a third of job seekers (36%) are faced with the fact that the list of real duties does not match what is indicated in the job description.
Visit the place of work before registration
To avoid at the last moment that your workplace is simply not heated or equipped with a toilet, it makes sense to spend time and go to the place where you have to work in advance. If something does not suit you, you simply refuse to sign the contract.
Don’t pay for anything
When applying for a job, you should always remember that the employer should pay you, and not vice versa. Asking to pay some amount for training, instruction, paperwork, or something else? Most likely they are trying to scam you.
Do not send photographs of documents to the employer
If a fraudster is hiding under the guise of an employer, a microloan can be issued in your name.
Do not enter bank card details anywhere
Again, if the job description is not the work of a real company, but of scammers, an invitation to an interview may be accompanied by an offer to compensate for travel expenses to the office. If you agree, you will receive a link with a form for entering bank card details. In no case do this, otherwise you will lose your money. Remember that only the card number is required to send a money transfer.
Find out the average salary level
This refers to the position you are interested in in the region of employment. You can do this by looking at the salary in other similar vacancies in the search results. Such a simple step will allow you to immediately filter out offers with unbelievably high salaries. They are not always associated with deception – it happens that in the job description the employer indicates the maximum amount of income, taking into account bonuses. But then you should focus on the size of a fixed salary, because bonuses can be very difficult to get.
But vacancies, along with a high salary containing a vague job description, should seriously alert: there is a possibility that the company is engaged in illegal activities.

7 ways to find “your” employer and not make a mistake in choosing
While searching work, you must have come across the concept of an employer brand. In simple terms, this is the image that arises when thinking about a company as a potential place of work. Obviously, it can be both bad and good. Fortunately, in recent years, it is really important for many Russian companies that employees go to work with positive emotions, proudly tell their relatives and friends about it, and applicants want to become part of this team of like-minded people. This fact is confirmed by numbers. In 2021, 783 companies became finalists in the Russian Employer Rating, and this year there are already 1,081. This is a kind of “white list” of employers. Companies enter it of their own free will, and their place in the Rating depends on the assessments of three sides of the labor market — employees, job seekers, and HR specialists. The rating has been held annually for 12 years now, and for many applicants it has become a sign of the quality of companies in the labor market. We’ll tell you more about it a little later. In the meantime, let’s focus on how else to rate an employer at 5 plus – we suggest checking companies according to our checklist.
Let’s be honest with ourselves – there are no perfect employers. There are those that are suitable or not suitable for you. So to meet a company that has all the signs listed below is a rarity! But the more such “flags” you find, the more likely it is that the employer cares about his reputation and employees.
✅ In general, good reviews about the company. ✅ Informative corporate website. ✅ Neatly designed page, vacancies, company letters on hh.ru. ✅ High politeness index. ✅ Active corporate social media accounts with posts about employees. ✅ Videos about working in the company. ✅ Personal accounts of company employees in social networks, where they write about their work (ambassadors). ✅ Articles about the company on hh.ru (projects “Life in the company”, “IT projects”). ✅ Russian Employer Rating badge. ✅ HR brand award participant badge. ✅ Special projects to attract applicants (tests, games, quizzes about working in a company).
Let’s take a closer look at each of the points together with Nina Osovitskaya, a labor market expert and director of the hh.ru Brand Center.
Nina Osovitskaya ⮱ Testimonials
This is the main source of information about employers for many candidates. On the one hand, it is reviews that help us learn more about the internal kitchen of the company, because its employees share their opinions. On the other hand, it is important to remember that not all reviews are equally useful. It’s good if an employee talks about both the pros and cons of the company. Such a review deserves attention and trust. But solid negativity and emotional statements hardly speak of objectivity.
If you are looking for information about a company in so-called reviews, try not to take everything for granted. Look at the tone of the sentences – what words does a person describe the situation, evaluate the message – is it a desire to annoy the employer or raise a real problem? Choose the most informative and professional platforms with employee reviews. For example, Dream Job has manual moderation of each review and a fair approach to ratings – employees talk about both the employer’s advantages and disadvantages. Since last year, reviews left on Dream Job can be seen directly on hh.ru, without leaving the pages of the service.

The first step to take after receiving an interview invitation is to explore the company’s website. See what it is like – is it a strange page without addresses and contact numbers or a real portal with detailed information about the organization? Here you can easily find answers to your questions. And also – write down and remember specific facts from the life of the company and use them as bargaining chips in an interview. Employers really appreciate it when candidates come to the interview prepared: they don’t ask general questions, they demonstrate their interest and knowledge of history, areas of work, and the latest company news.
Advanced organizations can have two sites – a presentation site and a career site. Keep this in mind when looking for information. Some employers usually make sections about careers and work in a company on a common site.
What is especially useful to know:
1️⃣ Advantages of the company – what are the advantages for applicants and employees that the employer sees. 2️⃣ The main stages of selection – what you will have to go through as a candidate to get the coveted offer. 3️⃣ Employee success stories — they allow you to understand how close the corporate culture of the company is to you, its approach to people. 4️⃣ Names and surnames of managers – use this information to search for their accounts in social networks. 5️⃣ Photo or video tours of the office/production. 6️⃣ Team building, corporate events, social responsibility – what opportunities do the company have besides work.
To complete the picture, it is important to read the description of various vacancies: what the company offers, what it wants in return, how clear and detailed the duties are, what requirements are put forward for candidates. Such details matter.
💡 Tip! It is useful to compare the website and the company page on hh.ru. If a company broadcasts the same information on different platforms, this is a good sign of a professional approach to work.

⮱ Politeness Index
An indicator of how quickly the employer analyzes the responses, and, as a result, an indicator of the responsibility and professionalism of the HR team. If you understand the courtesy index of a company, you can assume the speed and quality of feedback at all stages of employment. It is hardly worth expecting any reaction from an employer who parses 13% of submitted resumes. And, on the contrary, if communication is carried out promptly – a “plus to the karma” of the employer.
💡 Tip! You will see the courtesy index immediately after you send a response to a vacancy in a particular company.
⮱ Information on social networks
Surely you have encountered a similar situation: you applied for a vacancy, you were called for an interview and were given a huge test task. And you need to understand whether it is worth going further or not. In this case, not only the accounts of a potential employer in social networks, but also the posts of management, employees, applicants can be especially valuable and useful.
💡 Tip! Use hashtags by company name to search. For example, #alfateam #VKOnectesSky #ekfteam #WeAreCisco #ZapposCulture #adidascareers #FitAssCompany #ExraOrdinaryPeople #HumansofPwC #hhgoodplace #we appreciate different people
There is even a separate on the hh. ru page in VKontakte heading #AffiliatePost . In it, employers talk about new areas of work, open vacancies, offices, opportunities for professional training and development. So you can get inspiration for employment here.
⮱ Articles on hh.ru
hh.ru has sections with articles about employers who are most interested in attracting new employees.
“Life in the company” – long reads are collected here: articles, interviews, sketches. They allow you to imagine in detail what the working days of employees of various companies are filled with. And this is not a routine from 9:00 to 18:00, but its own challenges, discoveries and little joys. In general, another great opportunity to get to know the company better as a potential job. And, importantly, the whole story is based on people. For example, here the charismatic employees of Azbuka Vkusa talk about a special profession – kavist, and here you can see one day in the life at SKB Kontur: the employer showed the possibilities of changing the specialty within the company.
From these materials you get a better idea of the corporate culture of the organization. There are more strict and formal ones, there are informal and friendly ones – just feel which style of communication is closer to you. Plus – from the texts you can always “fish out” interesting facts that can become the basis for questions. As already noted, employers love this.
“IT projects” – articles for those who want to enter IT or have already done so. Companies talk about the opportunities and career paths of technical specialists.
⮱ Special projects
This is a non-standard format for companies to communicate with applicants. The very case when a company creates games, quizzes, interactive movies and other interesting activities in order to attract more attention from potential candidates. Together with our hh.ru Brand Center experts, the company’s employees come up with ideas, work out scenarios to win the hearts and minds of applicants.
Special projects allow you to learn more about the organization through active interaction with it. It’s one thing to leaf through a corporate website, and it’s quite another to get to know the team through an interactive screen life movie or a game where you have to guess the words that employees show.
⮱ HR Brand Award
This competition is like an Oscar, but in the HR field. Only relevant, effective and modern HR projects win in it. The HR Brand Award is a sign of quality among employers, a marker that there are advanced HR practices within the organization. This means that the company does a lot for employees.
And the last, but perhaps one of the most important indicators of a responsible and respectable company — Employer Rating 9 finalist badge0080 . To get it, organizations go a long way, almost a year long. The place in the Rating is determined on the basis of three large-scale studies. The last of them – a survey of applicants – is taking place right now, and you can influence its results!
Choose the best employers
In this study, candidates mark the companies in which they themselves would like to work. Moreover, it is not so much the real employment opportunity that is important, but the desire to get into the organization.
For example, you were at an interview, had an internship, worked in a particular company, or dream of becoming an employee of it someday – mark this in the Rating. Each vote is a contribution to the creation of a “white list” of employers: the more opinions, the more objective the results.
The voting rules are simple:
Existing employees cannot vote for their company, and if a company actively encourages employees to vote, it may be excluded from the Rating. Honesty is above all!
Only applicants authorized through hh.ru vote to avoid cheating by bots, while the poll is anonymous.
You can choose up to three attractive employers in any industry.
You can return to your choice or change your mind until October 31, 2022 inclusive.
You will learn about the results of the Rating in February. In the meantime, while waiting, see who took the first places in the Rating in 2021 or even earlier.
💡 Important! Not all Russian regions are represented in the Rating, since the initiative to become one of the best employers in Russia is shown by companies on their own. However, every year the number of finalists from the regions is growing.
It is easy to recognize the finalist of the Rating – the icon is displayed on all company pages on hh.ru, including in search and in vacancies.
Our applicants pay attention to the Rating badge. A new colleague in the selection said that it was the badge that bribed her, she made a choice in favor of us. The technologist who recently came to work with us said the same thing. According to the candidates, this is a sure sign that the company cares about its employees and reputation. Maria Golosova, head of personnel training and development at Agroholding Belaya Dacha
Certificates in different colors are another hallmark of the Rating finalists.
