Our Safety Measures

Keeping children safe is our highest priority. All staff are screened and trained extensively in child safety and youth development. We continue to use the cleaning and safety protocols we developed during the pandemic in order to reduce risk and best keep our staff, children, and members safe.

Important Camp Information and Safety

Campers are assigned to same age Camp Groups for the week. Each counselor provides fun and safe activities. Campers with Y Child Care enjoy traditional camp activities, meet new friends, and stay active throughout the day. Weather permitting, activities will moved outside as much as possible.

APPLYING FOR OHIO PUBLIC FUNDS

The YMCA accepts publicly funded child care through the State of Ohio.

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) helps parent(s) who are working or in school pay for child care through the Publicly Funded Child Care (PFCC) program.

You may be required to pay for part of your child care in the form of a copayment as determined by ODJFS. The amount you pay is based on your gross income and family size.

Please visit the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services website for more information or to apply for Child Care Assistance in your county.

Follow the following steps to apply for our Child Care Scholarships:

Aged skin care | cosmetics MIRRA

Under the influence of unfavorable environmental factors, bad habits, chronic diseases, malnutrition (consumption of preservatives, dyes, etc.), with age, the skin loses its elasticity, changes color, hyperpigmentation appears, dryness and thinning of the skin appear, which manifest themselves in the form of wrinkles.

The first age-related signs of skin aging are found in the form of subtle wrinkles in the corners of the eyes, nasolabial folds, where the mimic muscles are most active. Such wrinkles can appear by the age of 20-25. By the age of 30, wrinkles become more pronounced on the upper and lower eyelids, forming the so-called crow’s feet. Further, the transverse grooves on the skin of the forehead – “thinking wrinkles” – become more and more distinct. They are joined by vertical folds of “concentration” on the bridge of the nose, giving even a youthful face an expression of sadness, and in older people – an expression of discontent and antipathy. The nasolabial folds become more pronounced. The corners of the mouth drop, while the facial expression becomes more and more severe, strict and even sad.

What changes occur in the skin?

1) The predominance of the stratum corneum of the epidermis.

The rate of division of basal cells decreases, the basal layer becomes thinner, while the thickness of the stratum corneum, on the contrary, increases.

2) Degradation of collagen and elastin fibers.

In the dermis, the process of their regeneration slows down, the structure of the fibers is lost.

Collagen and elastin fibers form the frame of the skin, therefore, the skin loses its elasticity.

3) Disturbance of microcirculation leads to deterioration of complexion.

Gradual disruption of microcirculation leads to a decrease in trophism (nutrition), the skin does not receive all the necessary nutrients, which in turn accelerates the aging process.

4) Dystonia of the muscles – a disorder of muscle tone, especially the muscles of the face and neck.

The muscles of the cheek area, on the contrary, sag, forming the so-called “bulldog cheeks”, causing the corners of the mouth to droop and the face oval to deform.

5) Reduction of subcutaneous fat on the face

It is safe to say that optimal care is the outpost of the fight against skin aging. Optimal care is the regular use of individually selected and most effective cosmetic products to ensure all stages of skin care, taking into account the need to prevent aging or combat its specific manifestations.

Below are the schemes of using MIRRA cosmetics, which are most often used in programs to solve various anti-age problems. The programs are developed in two versions: “shock course” and “chronic use”. The shock course is designed to quickly achieve an effect, the chronic course is intended for supportive permanent care (after the shock course).
