Biden spoke in Connecticut about a plan to help working families

The President attended the opening of a human rights center and will give a speech in Hartford

President Joe Biden traveled to Connecticut in the northeastern United States on Friday to promote his plan to helping working families. The President also took part in the opening of a center for the protection of human rights.

Speaking at a kindergarten in Hartford, Biden told the audience about an important part of his economic plan – funding the cost of childcare, which will allow their parents, primarily mothers, to work fully. nine0003

“How can we compete in the global marketplace if millions of American parents, especially mothers, cannot enter the labor force because they cannot afford the cost of caring for children or the elderly?” Biden said.

Biden originally planned to provide $200 billion in funding for preschools and other childcare programs as part of a broader Home Economy strategy to boost economic growth by increasing the pay of childcare and health workers. -social assistance, as well as referral to the labor market of parents who now cannot afford to go to work due to the high cost of childcare services. nine0003

The White House is also pushing for tax breaks for kindergarten companies.

Biden spoke of his own experience after his wife and daughter were killed in a car accident in the early 1970s. Biden, who was already elected to the Senate at the time, said that even on a legislator’s salary, he “couldn’t afford babysitting” for his two sons, adding that he was lucky to have relatives who agreed to babysit his children. nine0003

Biden said he traveled daily by train to Washington from his native Delaware because “daily rail travel was cheaper” than paying for childcare in Washington, the president said.

Biden’s proposals, which also involve climate change, will be included in a multi-trillion-dollar social spending bill currently being debated in Congress.

Biden then visited the University of Connecticut at Storrs, where the president will speak at the opening of the Dodd Center for human rights programs. nine0003

The center is named after former Senators Thomas and Christopher Dodd. The late Thomas Dodd was the lead prosecutor at the Nuremberg International Military Tribunal, where Nazi war criminals were tried after World War II.

Christopher is the son of Thomas, who gained a reputation as a prominent human rights activist through initiatives aimed at ending violations of civil rights in Central America, which he implemented during his time in the Senate, where he sat from 1981 to 2011. nine0003

Greenhouse Film Reinforced with PE Plastic Film

Product Description

Fog is formed in the greenhouse when the temperature drops and the relative humidity reaches saturation, and the greenhouse cover has the function of anti-fogging and dripping. Fog negatively affects plants, the leaves are covered with a thin layer of moisture, top and bottom, and the “next morning” fog blocks the sun’s rays for several hours. nine0003

In order to be able to use anti-drip films with all their advantages without fear of the mist that sometimes forms during sunset and dawn in greenhouses covered with such films, we have developed anti-drip films with a special anti-fogging function. which reduces fogging.
