Building Brain Power

Brain research tells us that all experiences impact the architecture of the brain. At birth the human brain is in an amazingly unfinished state. The hardware is present but the connections are yet to be made. The child’s experiences , when repeated are reinforced, resulting in brain connections. This becomes the neural circuitry that lays the foundation for lifelong learning.

Greenville Park floods with faeces

The elite microdistrict “Greenville Park” in Ivanovo is flooded with feces. Moreover, residents may soon be left without water. The problem also concerns the kindergarten for 60 children. The developer, which still owns utility networks, is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings. What they say in the city administration and in the regional government – in the report.

Elite microdistrict – “Greenville Park”. Closed area, four-story building, townhouses, kindergarten. Away from the city, next to the forest. The air is really different here. But it smells not even of Chanel and Dior, but of feces.

Mikhail Dokolin: “There was a very strong smell in the hallways, feces, just a terrible thing. Especially through the elevator shaft it all goes. Stink, sorry, we even open all the windows, as it were, nothing helps.

Problems with the sewerage in the microdistrict are long-standing. The fact is that the developer, who still owns the networks, IvSpetsGarant, went bankrupt. The house was completed only thanks to the additional investments of equity holders. But communications – water supply and sanitation networks – are still not served here.

Marina Zenina, to correspondent: “Due to the fact that no one maintains the equipment, the pumps at the sewage pumping station failed. In the summer, according to the residents, the waste was pumped out directly into the forest, but now this does not help. Water is still accumulating in basements.”

The house is serviced by the management company “MR Service”. According to the manager, the feces were pumped out of the cellars literally the day before – before the arrival of the film crew. However, the water does not completely disappear. The level drops from 10 centimeters to 4.

Alexander Roshchin, head of the management company “MR Service”:

– We are pumping everything out, last week the city gave us barrels, we are pumping everything out, the city is also coming to our aid. Once a month, at least together with the towns, we pump out, call the barrels and pump out.

– That is, water also accumulates in the towns?

– Yes, yes, he also goes to their basements, soon he will flow into the kindergarten.

As we were informed by the city administration, there are no feces in the kindergarten yet. The building is on a hill. Meanwhile, problems in the microdistrict in the near future may arise not only with sewerage, but also with water. It still enters houses according to the developer’s working scheme – from an artesian well.

Alexander Gig o lai: “One of the capsules, tanks, it is cracked, that is, it needs to be repaired. May lead to lack of water in the house.

And throughout the neighborhood. And since there is no one to supply water from the well to the boiler house, there is no centralized hot water supply in homes and kindergarten either.

Maria Karluk: “I get at least 5,000 a month, only because we heat the water. At 5,000 a month, this electricity is being burned.

In the preschool institution, according to the head, boilers are also installed. Residents are unsuccessfully trying to negotiate with the creditors of the developer – IvSpetsGarant LLC – about the transfer of utility networks or their redemption. The main one is the Deposit Insurance Agency.

Alexander Gig about laev: “We will send an appeal to the bankruptcy trustee, with the question of excluding these infrastructure facilities from the bankruptcy estate. In order to either transfer these facilities to the balance of the city in the future, if possible, again we will talk with the administration about this, or find the organization that guarantees the supplier who will be able to operate these facilities.”

City officials did not comment on the situation on camera. They were informed in writing that, and I quote: “powers in the field of water supply and sanitation have been transferred to the level of the subject of the Russian Federation – that is, the government of the region.
