So you and your spouse are both busy with your careers, working hard to give your family the life they deserve. The thing is, you have a little one who still needs to be cared for, and juggling between your jobs and caring for your child is a continuous struggle. For that reason, most parents are looking for the best child care in Virginia Beach to help them with child care.

You might be thinking that it is probably too early to send your little one to a private school in Virginia Beach. But on the contrary, sending your child to one helps him or her become more ready not only for future academic success but also for social and emotional successes.

If you are still on the fence about whether to send your child to daycare, Rainbow Preschool offers you a few great reasons why a preschool in Virginia Beach is an excellent option for your family when it comes to child care.

1. Nourishes a child’s curiosity

Enrolling your child in a daycare in Virginia Beach nurtures your child’s curiosity as the teachers use the children’s imagination and ideas to create activities. These activities motivate children to learn. As simple as a child’s discovery of butterflies can be a fun learning opportunity for the whole class.

2. Helps develop your child’s motor skills

Your child’s physical coordination develops, letting your child explore their environment and test themselves in new ways. Young children are constantly moving for a good part of the day. The best preschool programs offer several opportunities every day for children to run, climb, and play active games.

3. Boosts literacy and pre-math skills

Young kids exhibit increasing interest in pre-literacy and pre-math skills. They are interested and observant. They want to be proficient in the skills that their families and society value, like reading the instructions for constructing a toy or choosing the correct bills or coins to pay for a purchase. Teachers provide an extensive assortment of games and activities that help children obtain pre- math and literacy skills.

4. Kids learn how to become independent

In preschool, your child is taught the necessary skill to become independent. Even as they interact with kids during playtime, they learn how to take care of themselves. It is important to keep in mind that these games, though they look disorganized, are anything but. Teachers design these games in such a way that kids learn from them.

5. They learn the value of teamwork

As kids work and play with each other, they learn to work as a team. For instance, a teacher might ask a child who is more skilled in drawing a house to help a child who is learning.

Why enroll in Rainbow Preschool

Rainbow Preschool is regarded as the best private school in Virginia Beach, owing to its thirty years of being in operation to help families in Virginia care for their children. They provide a caring environment that is conducive to learning.

They have programs for two-year-olds, three-year-olds, four-year-olds, and kindergarten. The school provides students a fun, relaxing environment that still maintains a uniform schedule.

They offer activities appropriate to their age, such as outdoor play, music, arts and crafts, and group projects.

Virginia’s parents are known all over as America’s super parents. They work hard 9-5 each day at the office, then go home to care for their children.

However, humans have their physical limits; even parents have them too. Thus, they need help in caring for their kids, and this presents another challenge altogether.

The decision of who should take care of your baby is stressful and confusing. Of course, you only want the best for your child. Fortunately, you do have choices. This article weighs the pros and cons of the two most popular options for childcare in Virginia Beach: nanny and daycare.

First, consider your budget.

Budget is always a significant factor for most parents, and it could be one for you too. Preschools in Virginia Beach can no doubt be expensive, especially in Virginia Beach.

Daycare in Virginia Beach can set you back around $9,000 to $14,000 a year, but many parents consider it a small price to pay for the premium care, convenience, and peace of mind they get out of sending their kids there.

We are not saying that hiring a nanny is cheaper. A competent and capable nanny will probably cost more than sending your child to daycare. If you want to hire a nanny but find it too costly, you can consider a nanny share.

Benefits of daycare

  1. Kids develop social skills

Your child will be able to mingle with other children when you send them to daycare. This is probably the most significant advantage of sending your child to a private school in Virginia Beach as children learn together and learn the value of teamwork.

  1. Resources

Daycare centers invest in books, toys, and other resources, and these provide more unique learning opportunities for your child. Had you bought these yourself, they would leave a huge hole in your wallet only to be used for a year or two.

  1. Multiple teachers

Having multiple teachers can benefit your child as they get to learn different styles and form relationships with more than one person.

  1. State regulations

The state highly regulates daycare centers. This assures you that your child is safe and the learning is top-notch.

Benefits of hiring a nanny

  1. You have more control

With the care provider working in your home, you can easily supervise every activity your child engages in, even from afar. You can tell your nanny what you want her to do when it comes to child care.

  1. Individual attention

Your nanny will focus on your child alone. He or she will monitor where your child is, what she is doing, what she is eating, etc.

  1. Flexibility

You and your child can enjoy schedule flexibility as you set the hours for when the nanny can come. Your nanny will work with your schedule.

  1. More convenient

Since your childcare provider will come to you and not you to them, you would not have to pack their things or dress them up.

Key takeaway

Hiring a nanny and sending your child to daycare both have their own benefits. When deciding which one to pick, take time to think about what is essential to your family.

It is always hard to choose who should take care of your child while you are at work. But if you are like most parents, you are perhaps searching for a safe place conducive to learning and where they can get some playtime with other kids.

If you want to give your child a head start before school, it is probably worth sending them to a daycare in Virginia Beach that concentrates on child development and early childhood education.

But if you are still on the fence on whether you should send your child to a preschool in Virginia Beach, here are a few benefits that might pull you in.

Benefits of sending your child to a child development center

  1. Your child will develop a love for learning

Early child education at a private school in Virginia will help instill a love for learning in your child that will last a lifetime. Access to early childhood education can give your child social and cognitive skills that encourage them to develop a positive attitude to learning and become independent.

  1. Opportunities to socialize

Your child will be able to meet other children of the same age when you send them to a child development center. There, they can explore and discover new things together, which is a great way to learn. They would not be able to experience this in a home care setting.

  1. Your child will learn to follow a schedule

The myriad of activities that are designed for the children are performed in an organized fashion. Your child may learn how to do things as per the schedule. That is one of the many benefits of daycare for kids.

  1. They learn at an early age

Sending your kid to daycare in Virginia Beach provides activities that will help your child learn at an early age. The activities they will participate in will help your child learn different educational concepts at an early age.

  1. Structured environment

A daycare center provides a formatted environment for your child. While they will be allowed to explore the world around them during playtime, preschoolers also have plenty of chances to learn. Also, there will be plenty of activities, toys, and learning materials, because the center invests in these supplies for their classrooms. In comparison, it is almost impossible to establish the same structure at home.

  1. Your child will have a successful future

The benefits of preschool education can last a lifetime. In the United States, a 30-year survey disclosed that adults who had outstanding early childhood learning from 0-5 years were more likely to graduate from university and to be constantly employed.

The skills that your child learns in the early years of their life are pivotal for their social, emotional, and academic performance.

  1. Emotional resilience

Daycare centers offer your child an opportunity to acquire social skills, which helps them form strong relations with other people. As your child matures, they will apply their talents to promote friendships that will shape their sense of identity.

From America to Krasnoyarsk / News of the Society of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory / Newslab.

    Ru

among our readers. It is generally accepted that many Russians dream of leaving as soon as possible in search of a better life, while foreigners, on the contrary, will never go to live in harsh Siberia. But it is not so. Meet Ronald (or Mr. Ronnie, as he asks everyone to call himself) from New York, who moved to Krasnoyarsk two years ago.

What was the main reason for moving to Krasnoyarsk? Was it difficult to decide?

I’ll tell you a little about myself – born in New York, lived in Virginia Beach, on the ocean. He lived in Germany for 10 years – he served in the army there, he was a tanker. Then he returned to America, worked as an IT specialist, in addition, he helped in organizing various parties for foreigners. At times, up to 80 guests from all over the world gathered in my house. I have been interested in communication with representatives of other cultures since my life in New York – this city is called the “melting pot of nations”, where you can find people from literally all over the world. At one of my parties in 2007, I met Yulia from Krasnoyarsk – she lived and worked then in America under the Work and Travel program. Then, for three whole years, she came to America every summer, we met, and for the third time I refused to let her go, I said: “That’s it, you won’t go anywhere else!”. And here is 0909/09/2009 (magic of numbers!) we got married in America, and a year later – 10.10. 2010 – we came to Krasnoyarsk to arrange a wedding in my wife’s homeland!

I fell in love with this city at first sight! I remember how I saw the Yenisei, these rocks on the other side – it was very beautiful! And when we later returned to America, every day I asked Yulia: “Do you want to move to Russia?” And at that time she worked for one of Warren Buffett’s companies, in the atmosphere of real corporate America – constant stress, very tired. And in 2012, I finally persuaded her and since then we have been living here.

What were you most afraid of when you made the decision to move? Were the fears justified?

I had absolutely no worries, on the contrary, I could not wait to get to Krasnoyarsk! The only concern was the prospect of finding a job – it was not entirely clear what they would have to do here. I even learned Russian songs – I thought I could suddenly join the music industry here. But I was sure that sooner or later I would find something to my liking.

There was a funny incident when, immediately after moving to Krasnoyarsk, we decided to look for a job, went with Yulia to one Internet company – she was invited for an interview, and while I was waiting for her in the lobby, I got into a conversation with someone from the management. As a result, they hired me, not her. True, I worked there as a designer for only one day – there was no one who could communicate with me in English ( laughs ).

And soon after that, Yulia once advised me to go to the Welcome kids kindergarten – they were just looking for foreign teachers. And I had no teaching experience at all (except for the army experience), and it was a little scary. But I didn’t want to refuse my wife, and I decided to go, but, to be honest, I didn’t intend to work there. I was called to a lesson, I was getting to know the children, and suddenly one little girl rushed away from me. I thought that she was scared, I decided – “Well, that’s enough, Ronnie, it’s time to leave,” but it turned out that she was just playing with me – peeking around the corner and laughing! And then I realized that working with children is very interesting and fun, and I stayed. And for a year and a half, he never regretted his decision. Moreover, I consider it the best experience and the best job in my life.

What are the three biggest differences between Krasnoyarsk and your hometown?

Language. In New York I got used to people speaking different languages, in Germany I learned all three dialects, spoke perfect German. And when I started learning Russian, I learned the alphabet, I thought – it looks like English, wow, now I will learn Russian as easily as I learned German! But when I arrived here in 2010, I realized that Russians speak very quickly, I understand almost nothing – I could not catch the words. Russian is a very difficult language.

Weather. I have lived all my life by the ocean, and the local climate was, of course, a novelty. But I’m not bored, on the contrary, I’m amazed by your nature, these pines, mountains, snow! This is true beauty, and I don’t understand those who say they want to go somewhere, why?

Culture, everyday life. For example, I never got used to taking off my shoes at home. In America, we walk around the house without taking off our shoes. Oddly, maybe Virginia Beach has less dust and more humidity, so there’s less dirt on the street and shoes don’t get dirty.

Food. I like her more in Russia! So many delicious and healthy dishes. I love borscht! In America, more chemicals are added to products, for example, bread can be stored for weeks, but here it just dries. For Yulia, both apples and potatoes tasted the same, with strange additives.

I can name similar things – for example, crazy drivers. They are the same as in New York. By the way, I don’t drive a car in Russia, I like to be a passenger and look out the window.

Do Krasnoyarsk citizens like foreigners? Have you encountered manifestations of interethnic intolerance?

It seems to me that the people of Krasnoyarsk do not just like the Americans (in my person), they adore them! Seriously, I have never felt so loved as I am here. Every day someone comes up to me, hugs me, tells me something, shakes my hand, smiles. It is very nice! Although Russians don’t usually look friendly, I find them very hospitable.

When leaving your home country, what was the hardest thing to say goodbye to?

Of course, the hardest thing was parting with two children from my first marriage, one of them had just started college, the other had just graduated from high school. They are doing well, they have been living with their mother for a long time, but it was still very sad to leave them. But now they even want to come to visit me, I’m really looking forward to it!

The last six months in America, Yulia and I spent a farewell tour around the country – flew around and around it, visited Las Vegas, New York and other cities. It was as if I was preparing to never see America again. I don’t admit how much money we spent – a lot, it’s even scary to remember ( laughs ).

The economy of your life in Krasnoyarsk: more / less salary, more / less spending. Has it become easier to live in terms of money?

In America I had a good salary, here it is, of course, less. Recently, my wife and I opened a beauty salon, so I hope this will help in terms of income.

Actually, it’s strange, but Krasnoyarsk is a very expensive city! And housing, and food in restaurants, and entertainment – the price level is very high. For example, in the beautiful resort town of America – Virginia Beach – you can buy a good one-story house in a decent area for about $100,000, right there for this money you can only buy a two-room apartment. Now in America, in general, rarely anyone buys a home, mostly they rent it. Getting a mortgage is not easy – you must have a good credit history with a bunch of repaid loans.

I also love beautiful and high-quality clothes, but here they are very expensive and often not of very good quality. Moreover, this applies only to men’s clothing, because I like the way local women dress.

How do you spend your free time?

Recently, I acted in a real movie – I was invited to play the role of a drug dealer in the film Roads. It was a wonderful experience, I really liked it, I played such a villain-huckster, I had a lot of money ( laughs ).

I also love music very much, I even sing. In Germany he served in the army together with the lead singer of Snap! And in the army we had a dance troupe, we even performed together with Turbo. Then we parted, but he still achieved success with Snap!, thundered all over the world! We have not seen each other since then, and since a year ago I hear on the radio that Snap! is coming to Krasnoyarsk, they had some kind of combined concert of stars 90’s. I arrived at the club, approached Turbo and he just couldn’t believe his eyes – he looked at me in such surprise, as if he had seen a ghost! We talked all night, it was amazing to meet an old friend at the edge of the world by chance! I also once was friends with Pharrell Williams, who is now wildly popular, we walked with him along the beach in Virginia Beach, when no one knew about him yet ( laughs )

How long have you been living in Krasnoyarsk? Do you dream of returning to your homeland?

We don’t have plans, we don’t build them.
