Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard educational child care center in Flower Mound, TX, located at the corner of Morriss Road and Forrest Vista! We provide the perfect foundation for learning and development through all of our wonderful programs.

Our school offers Infant Care, Toddlers and Twos, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and School-Age programs. We are accredited with Cognia and Texas Rising Star, and we continue to meet and exceed accreditation standards, which are higher than the Texas Child Care Minimum Standards.

We have an outstanding group of teachers on our staff with more than 100 years of combined early childhood teaching experience. To remain leaders in early education, all of our teachers participate in ongoing training throughout the year. The company also offers free CDA’s to our staff, and other great benefits to ensure their education and safety. Our amazing staff cook ensures children receive healthy, delicious meals that are safe for children with allergies or dietary restrictions.

Our building is designed with separate rooms for every age group, plus areas for recreation. I began with Children’s Courtyard in 2016 as a lead infant teacher, and then spent nearly four years as an assistant director before taking on a role as a director. I truly enjoy helping kids develop a lifelong love of learning and helping them feel a sense of accomplishment. I love watching them grow and helping them reach all their milestones. I live in Flower Mound with my husband and 9 year old daughter. I truly love being a part of such an amazing an active community!

I have worked for Children’s Courtyard for 7 years. I started as an Early Preschool teacher but have worked in School Age for 4 years before becoming a School Age manager in 2021. I have enjoyed every minute of my time at CCY. I love being a part of all our children’s lives, watching them grow and develop from infancy to elementary school. I am married with two beautiful daughters, both of which attend CCY and love it. I love being a part of our Children’s Courtyard family!

What are your rates?

Hourly rates are always available.

Hourly:

• $14. 00 per hour – Infants (6 Weeks – 18 Mos.)
• $12.50 per hour – One Child (Over 18 Mos.)
• $7.00 per hour – Each Additional Sibling

Registration: 

• $40.00 annual family registration is required

Adventure Kids University preschool: Weekdays from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

• 3 days per week per month $450
• 2 days per week per month $300
• 5 day Pass-$200/$160 ( $40 a day)
• 10 Day Pass $360/ $288 (buy 10 get one free so $40×9).
• 15 Day Pass $580/ $464 (buy 13 get two free so $40x 13)
• 20 Day Pass $680/ $544 (buy 17 get three free so $40×17)

Camps: Weekdays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• Half Day Camp Flex Pass = 4 hours, 5 visits = $200 first child/$160 siblings

• 1 Day Camp Flex Pass 9-4 = $80 first child/$64 siblings

What are Family Savings Plans?

Family Savings Plans have no expiration and can be used for food or time spent with us. They include:

Are gift certificates available?

Yes – gift certificates can be purchased at our center.

Do you serve meals?

Breakfast: 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Dinner: 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

We are a nut-free facility.

Gluten-free meals are available upon request.

You are more than welcome to pack a snack or meal from home as long as they are nut-free. All meals brought from home can be refrigerated and heated at meal time, if needed.

When are snacks served?

Snacks are served at 10 a.m., 3 p.m., and 8 p.m.

If your child arrives just after snack time and is hungry, please let us know–we’ll take care of them.

Are immunization records required?

We must have current immunization records on file for all children who are not currently enrolled in school. If your child is enrolled in school or a daycare other than Adventure Kids Playcare, we require that you provide the full information, including name, address, and phone number.

Please note that if your child is not enrolled in school, we require immunization records to be up to date and accurate.

If your family has chosen to exempt your child from receiving immunizations, we ask that you provide us with the State Vaccine Exemption Form.

Advice for the care of flowers and bouquets

1. Cut stems at an angle to increase cutting area	2. Fill the vase with clean water up to 90% of the size of the vase itself	3. At least 50% of stem must be in water for all flowers
4. Do not put flowers on the windowsill and near the battery. Avoid sunlight and drafts. Do not remove the decoration of the bouquet. Decoration keeps flower buds at room temperature	5. You can not take out a bouquet without warm paper outside in winter. Minus temperatures cause irreparable damage to flowers. Do not transport flowers without water for more than 1 hour.	6. Observe the dosage of water, at least 50% of the stem should be in the water. Half of the bouquet should be in the water and then the flowers will last longer

Is it important for you that the bouquet lasts for a long time? Then choose a bouquet of resistant flowers

By following these simple rules you will keep your flowers fresh for much longer:

• If there is packaging material in the bouquet (kraft, sisal, mesh, etc.), it is not recommended to violate the integrity of the composition and remove the packaging material. This is due to the fact that some flowers need support and rigid support in the form of a package due to weak stems and heavy buds. The packaging of the bouquet is selected by specialists and allows you to keep the bouquet longer due to the individual characteristics of flowers (especially exclusive positions).
• Prepare a clean vase for the flowers and pour cool water into it (flowers do not like hot or cold water), in such water the flowers will remain fresh longer.
• Be sure to observe the dosage of water, at room temperature the flower stem must be at least 70% in water.
• Cut the flowers with secateurs, a sharp knife or scissors and immediately place the flowers in the water.
• Cut flowers do not tolerate heat, drafts or the influence of cold, of course, you should not leave flowers in the sun either. Eliminate the location of the bouquet near the radiator, window or air conditioner.
• Once a day, it is necessary to add fresh water to the vase, but it is better to completely change the water after washing the vase with cleaning products.
• To make the flowers last longer, cut the flower stems daily after washing the vase with a cleaner and collecting clean water.
