Clark Season 1 is a Netflix series. A six-part drama series about the famous Swedish criminal Clark Olofsson, who is called the “super-famous gangster” who gave rise to the concept of “Stockholm syndrome”, managed to escape from prisons and committed robberies throughout Europe.

Clark Olofsson is played by Bill Skarsgård, best known for his terrifying portrayal of Pennywise in Stephen King’s It. He later starred in Netflix’s The Devil for All Seasons and the Sundance hit Nine Days. On television, Skarsgård is best known for his role in the Hulu psychological drama Castle Rock by JJ Abrams and Stephen King.

Directed by internationally acclaimed Jonas Åkerlund, whose signature visual style is easy to recognize. The manufacturing company is Scandinavian Content Group.

Based on truth and fiction from Clark Olofsson’s autobiography, the series follows Clark’s life from his early years to the present day. The infamous gangster began his criminal career in the 1960s and has become one of the most controversial figures in modern Swedish history. Convicted on multiple counts of drug dealing, attempted murder, assault, theft and dozens of bank robberies, he spent more than half of his life behind bars and left much grief in his wake. At 19In the 1970s, Clark put forward the idea of ​​the existence of the so-called “Stockholm Syndrome” after a failed bank robbery in Stockholm. Since then, Clark has retained his title as the famous criminal who deceived all of Sweden.
