The Biltmore School Reviews

Rating 5 out of 5  3 reviews

The Biltmore School is Miami’s hidden school gem! From the outside, the school looks like charming house that can be a day care, but once you walk onto the property you welcomed with beautiful landscape filled with smiling children learning. The faculty is caring and very knowledgeable. The school becomes your village and work with you on making sure your child grows into a caring, knowledgeable, reflective, balanced and open minded person in the world. Both my kids attend the school and I am so thrilled be part of this Biltmore family. I encourage anyone looking for a school to check out this one. The class sizes are small, teachers stellar, administration on point and the families involved.

My husband and I are are so happy that we came across this school. Our son is in second grade and couldn’t be happier! For the past two years, I have seen how my son has improved in his studies and is excited to learn everyday. He loves going to school and is eager to be involved. I love working with all his teachers and I am happy to know that I always have their support in making sure my son is set up for success. Love this school!

One of a kind- you won’t find another school quite like this! With the highest focus on academics, kids thrive in this inclusive, welcoming environment, with a great program that help students become thinkers and inquirers. Very respectful students, friendly staff, and excellent teachers, in a caring and loving environment really make the school a great place, my kids have been very happy at the Biltmore School!!!

You will not find megacities in this list, but this has its advantages.

Whether you’re looking for an American classic town or an insanely beautiful view, this collection has locations for all your leisure options. Sometimes you really want to get away from the hustle and bustle and endless skyscrapers just to take a walk in the park, have a barbecue in the backyard and walk around the local shops. nine0003

    Portland, ME

From Victorian homes to rocky coastlines, Portland has unparalleled scenery. It is impossible to visit here and not visit the main lighthouse, which offers the best view of the ocean. If one day in Portland was not enough for you, then you can stay at the Press Hotel, which is located in the former building of the local newspaper. Do not forget that there is just a fantastic selection of restaurants. We recommend Eventide Oyster, Honey Paw, Central Provisions and Portland Lobster Company. nine0003

    Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Harpers Ferry is where the borders of West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland meet, and the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers merge into one. The location of the city and the surrounding National Historical Park make for a very picturesque picture, especially in autumn. In Harper’s Ferry itself, tours are conducted both around the city (abolitionist John Brown gained fame after a raid on the local arsenal in 1859), and on the local ghosts. Adventure lovers will not get bored here: you can go kayaking, rafting, go down the cable bridge, get into mountain climbing or go hiking along the Appalachian Trail. nine0003

    Asheville, NC

Asheville has some very good food, and if you want to see it for yourself, visit Rhubarb, Cúrate, or Nightbell, where Chef Katie Button rules. The city has something to surprise its guests in addition to restaurants: you can spend the whole day at the North Carolina Arboretum, the beautiful Biltmore Estate or the Omni Grove Park Inn. Actually, when the Blue Ridge is nearby, this already gives any place a special charm. nine0003

    Nantucket, Massachusetts

Nantucket has been a popular summer resort for many years. Here you can walk around the wood-panelled houses or bike to the lighthouses that line the coastline. The crescent-shaped island, though small, is varied, from sand dunes and salt flats to cliffs. Good photos are guaranteed.

    Lake Placid (NY)

Lake Placid is considered a year-round resort thanks to the Adirondack Mountains and the pristine lake. The population of the city is only 2500 souls. Lake Placid is popular for hiking, fishing and skiing (the city hosted two Winter Olympics, at 1932 and 1980). And luxury is not forgotten here: pay attention to the Whiteface Lodge, Lake Placid Lodge and Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa hotels.

  • Native Share

    Woodstock (Vermont)

For a New England experience, this small town nestled in the Green Mountains is well worth a visit. For lovers of antiques and B&B accommodation, this place is a dream come true. You can stay in houses from the 1750s, and most of the buildings are on the US National Register of Historic Places. Be sure to visit the 1886 F.H. Gillingham & Sons. nine0003

    St.

    Augustine, Florida

Once in St. Augustine, you’ll forget you’re in Florida. The Spanish founded this city by the sea as early as 1565, making it the oldest permanent European settlement in the US. Here you will find Spanish colonial architecture and buildings that appeared after. The city played a key role during the civil rights movement in the 1960s, and you can follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther King along the Freedrom Trail. Be sure to also visit the 17th century San Marcos Castle. nine0003

  • Native Share

    Big Sur (California)

Big Sur is located on the rocks, with the Santa Lucia Range to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. There are few locals here, but guests have the opportunity to stay in two excellent hotels at once: the city has a five-star Post Ranch Inn and a four-star Ventana Big Sur. Fans of the literary counterculture will appreciate that Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, and Henry Miller have much to do with the place, and the latter left behind a whole collection of books and memorabilia from the Beat era. If you have very little time, then you should at least drive through the city on Route 1.

  • Native Share

    Annapolis, Maryland

This magical brick town dates back to the 1600s. Annapolis is located on the Chesapeake Bay, and the local port played an important role in the movement of ammunition during the American Civil War. Then the place became a fishing village, but today you will already see pleasure boats here, not trawlers. The US Naval Academy is located here, and guests can visit the institution’s beaux-arts campus. After the tour, have a bite to eat at O’Learys Seafood Restaurant. nine0003

  • Native Share

    Sedona, Arizona

Surrounded by red monoliths, Sedona draws visitors to its unique location. People come here to play golf or just enjoy the views of the mountains, and on a clear night you will be blinded by the stars. We recommend staying at L’Auberge de Sedona, which has been voted the best hotel in the southwest of the country. The hotel is located in the heart of Red Rock Country, so beautiful views will surround you from all sides. nine0003

  • Native Share

    Bozeman (MT)

Bozeman is located in a region called the Valley of Flowers at an elevation of 4820 feet. To the north of the settlement is the Bridger Range, and to the west is the Tobacco Route Mountains. It was here that the film “Where the River Flows” was filmed, and against the backdrop of local beauty, even Brad Pitt turned a little pale. But only a few.

  • Native Share

    Newport, Rhode Island

Newport epitomizes wealthy and beautiful New England, where sailboats dock at the shore and wealthy guests flank the cobbled streets. Every summer, visitors gather at a place called Fort Adams to attend Newport music festivals. During the colder months, stay warm or visit some of the region’s most famous estates, such as the former home of Doris Duke, heiress to the tobacco baron James Duke. nine0003

  • Native Share

    Friday Harbor (Washington)

This beautiful village is located in the very northwest of Washington state, and from the local harbor you can go to the nearest uninhabited islands. In the past, Friday Harbor fed the region, but today the village lives off tourism. Sea kayaking and whale watching are especially popular, and the ferries keep the village interesting all year round.

  • Native Share

    Santa Barbara, CA

This coastal town is a California classic. Here you will have a view of the sea and the mountains of Santa Ines. Due to the buildings of the colonial past, Santa Barbara is also of historical interest, and for surfers it is simply a paradise here – many sports legends live in the city. For equipment and good instructors, you should contact Surf-N-Wear’s Beach House.

  • Native Share

    Sitka, Alaska

Sitka is considered one of the most beautiful settlements in Alaska. Behind the town are the mountains of the Sisters, and spruces grow almost at the very water’s edge. Wooden houses would look good in a Western, and in general the place is somewhat reminiscent of the Wild West. The natural beauty and remoteness make Sitka a popular destination for hiking, climbing, hunting and fishing. nine0003

  • Native Share

    Taos, New Mexico

The desert city has a rich history. Taos Pueblo, three miles from the center of Taos, is home to indigenous peoples who settled there over a millennium ago, making it one of the oldest settlements in the US (and a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Nowadays, the city has a real cultural flourishing: artists, sculptors and writers have been coming here since 1899. The natural beauty of the place – red canyons, clear blue skies and snow-covered mountains on the horizon – is reflected in art and inspires creators. nine0003

  • Native Share

    Paia, HI

In this small village in northern Maui, all your hermit dreams come true. Yes, the city center is cute and even trendy. Here you can find perhaps the coolest tattoo parlor and buy locally produced beachwear, but those in the know appreciate the beach most of all. Locals love Hookipa Beach Park, and surfers love this place for ideal conditions for skiing. We recommend having lunch at the local Paia Fish Market. nine0003

  • Native Share

    Telluride (CO)

Telluride is on everyone’s lips right now. It’s easy to see why the city is so popular: the ski resort is reminiscent of a movie set, and it’s full of great restaurants and hotels. Or you can rent accommodation offered by Exceptional Stays – you can choose from apartments right next to the ski lift or remote cabins in the mountains.

  • Native Share

    Traverse City, MI

Traverse City is the place to go to enjoy the quietness of the lake. The place was named after the port in the very south of Grand Traverse Bay, and is especially popular in the summer. However, at other times of the year you can spend a great active holiday here. Traverse City will delight fans of good restaurants: S2S|Sugar 2 Salt and Grand Traverse Pie Company are worth a visit. Plus, the region produces some of the most delicious cherries in the country, so don’t miss the annual Cherry Festival in July.
