Recent Review:

As a first-time mom in a pandemic, it was a tough decision to send my only daughter off to daycare. However, she has been attending Gurukul Learning Center for almost a year now and it was the best decision Ihave ever made and I am so happy I chose this particular family-run facility. She started when she was about 9 months old in the infant room. The staff was so understanding and helpful in guiding us through the process. Since the very beginning, the director of the school, Deanna, made us feel welcome and part of the family. The safety measures during the pandemic were top-notch and I always felt as though my daughter was safe and loved at school, even amidst COVID breakouts and closures (which I’m sure, were always a tough call to make). I am constantly floored by how much she has learned and grown over the course of her time at Gurukul. The teachers have been absolutely phenomenal. My daughter constantly talks about her teachers and how much fun she has learning every day. She is always happy when I pick her up, and honestly, barely even says bye to me when I drop her off now! She’s so excited to see her friends that she just walks right in! I am so very grateful to the educators and staff for making sure all of the kids have the best enrichment possible, while maintaining a safe environment for all. With Gurukul, you get all the best parts of the curriculum from the big chains, but with a more personal, welcoming feeling. You’re not just a number to the Gurukul team, you’re part of the family….

Description:

At Bouncing Bunnies Family Daycare, we are dedicated to creating a happy and stimulating environment that offers love, acceptance, and a place where every child feels safe and secure. Here, the safety, needs, and happiness of all children is our top priority. With over fifteen years of experience in the family childcare and preschool settings, we strongly believe that play is the work of young children. It is with this philosophy that we have created our environment, placing an emphasis on learning through play and exploration.
Young minds are given the opportunity to grow and to create their own worlds through imaginary play, using all five senses to learn about everyday wonders. Our program is designed to allow children to socialize and interact with their young peers, while offering them the opportunity to play and explore in a variety of inventive, age-appropriate activities.
Additionally, we enjoy a seasonal curriculum that focuses on the highlights that each season offers. We engage in a hands-on, sensory experience through arts-and-crafts and interactive story time. When the weather permits us to do so, we spend the majority of our time outside. With ride-on toys, a swing set, and neighborhood walks, we allow for an exploration of nature, exercise of gross motor skills, and an outdoor experience that is always fun-filled.
My years as a mother and childcare provider have taught me innumerable lessons, such as the value of fostering creative thinking; the importance of outdoor play, musical enjoyment, and story time; as well as the power of independent reading, problem solving and self-help skills. I always discuss any concerns – physical or behavioral – with parents, and I view strong communication between families and myself with the highest regard. Although it’s always sad to see the children grow up and move on from my home daycare to preschool or pre-K, parents can be confident that their children are prepared to thrive and succeed in a larger environment. Thank you for your interest in our program, and I look forward to working with you and seeing your little ones grow!

If you buy

According to the HM Land Registry for December 2018, the average property price in the capital is £473,822, and in Chelmsford it is £338,606. – £213,548 Terraced houses – £289742, a semi-detached house £363,891 and a mansion £583,284.

Chelmsford is the only city in Essex with city status, which speaks of its great importance. It received this status quite recently, in 2012, and so far it is the youngest city-city in England. It is only 40 minutes from London, which attracts a large number of metropolitan workers who want to move outside the bustling London. In addition, Chelmsford is famous for its good schools and magnificent countryside literally on the doorstep of city houses. No wonder Chelmsford was named the best place to live in the east last year by The Sunday Times.

City of Opportunity

Since the 19th century, Chelmsford has been an agricultural, market town and an important center of industry. It is now one of the fastest growing economic centers in the East of England. Chelmsford’s economy is strong and generates over £3bn a year for the region. In addition, the city has very big plans for further economic growth. The City Council aims to make it also the cultural, entertainment and commercial center of Essex, as well as the leading regional center for the East of England. Due to the large number of jobs and enterprises, the unemployment rate in Chelmsford is very low – about 1%. “Many people think that all residents of Chelmsford necessarily work in the capital, but this is not at all the case,” says Tatyana, 35 years old, “there are a lot of various positions and with good salaries.” In addition to the Essex County Police and Chelmsford City Council, the city also has major national and international companies such as Aon, Visteon, M&G group, e2v technologies, Battelle, MS Amlin.

Education

“Excellent schools were the main reason we moved to Chelmsford six years ago,” continues Tatiana, mother of two children in school. There is no doubt that the quality of local schools is what parents are most interested in when moving to a certain place. Chelmsford can be trusted in this regard. Some of the best and most desirable primary schools are: Chelmsford Hospital School, Mildmay Infant and Nursery School, Chancellor Park Primary School, Thriftwood School, Beehive Lane Community Primary School and Trinity Road Primary School, and the best secondary schools are Thriftwood School and Columbus School and College . Moreover, the city has excellent selective schools King Edward VI Grammar School and Chelmsford County High School for Girls. In addition to several colleges, Anglia Ruskin University also partially settled in Chelmsford. There are also several Russian schools in the city.

About life in the city

“Living in Chelmsford is good and comfortable,” says Tatiana. This is largely due to housing prices, which are lower than in the capital. For families, the fact of education of children is important, as well as their safety. The crime rate in Chelmsford is low compared to the state. “It’s not at all scary to linger somewhere in a bar in the evening and return home at night,” says Tatyana, “although, like everywhere else, there are problem areas. ” In terms of convenience, proximity to the capital is the main factor. “You can work in London, but even with employment in Chelmsford, salaries are higher here than anywhere else in Colchester,” the interlocutor continues.

In addition, Chelmsford is a big city and, accordingly, its cultural life is quite rich. There are several museums, a theater, entertainment and shopping centers, and many educational groups for children. There is also a Lathcoats farm where children can get to know the animals better, where they can buy local products and have a bite to eat. “30 minutes from the city is the monastery of St. John the Baptist, where you can talk with the Russian hieromonk Nikolai Sakharov,” says Evgenia, founder of the Russian Chelmsford society. Chelmsford also hosts a large number of festivals. For example, festivals such as 3foot People Festival for preschoolers and Fling for adults will be held in July. Chelmsford Restaurant Festival, popular Discovery Festival, Rize Festival are all here too!

Russian Chelmsford Community

This is the first Russian-speaking community in Chelmsford, which was founded on February 4, 2016 and started with just a few people. Today, the number of Russian speakers in the group is about 300 people. The goal of the community is to maintain Russian culture and traditions, the native language. One of the important tasks is to build and strengthen Russian-English relations. The society takes part in various events and introduces our culture to the local people. So, last year, the society participated in the Chelmsford Festival, where they presented Russian culture through a tea ceremony, dances, poetry and much more. The society was also invited to the BBC radio morning show and talked about Russian expats in England. Russian Chelmsford Community organizes concerts, creative evenings, meetings and even baby showers for expectant mothers of the community. In the near future, the visit of the legendary violinist M.

Kazinik is planned.

Chelmsford has 20 parks and green spaces.

Istok Russian School

Istok offers classes in the study of the Russian language, speech development, literary reading and mathematics for children from three to 12 years old. Much attention is paid to creativity – the school has its own art studio. There is also a preparation group for the GCSE exam in Russian. Recently, a new discipline “Science for Children” has appeared. The school works closely with the Russian Chelmsford Community.

Theatric Art and Russian Language School

The Theatric began its work in 2004 in Colchester. School students not only study Russian, but also play in performances, participate in festivals and competitions. Last year, a student of the Chelmsford Theater School won the national final of the Living Classics competition and won a ticket to the Artek camp. Now the Theater School has several Russian language classes for children from two to 16 years old.

Address: Quaker Meeting House, 114 Rainsford Road, Chelmsford, CM1 2QL

Russian Community Russian Essex Chelmsford

The modern Russian-speaking community unites not only residents of Chelmsford, but also nearby cities. The community is engaged in supporting the study of the Russian language and the development of Russian traditions. Thanks to the activities of the community, business meetings, creative evenings, master classes for children and adults are organized. Russian Essex Chelmsford is actively cooperating with the bookstore “BukiVedi”, the children’s magazine “Humpty Dumpty” and information portals in England and beyond.

Branch of the School of Russian Language and Literature. A. S. Pushkina

In March of this year, a new ambitious school of Russian language and literature opened its doors. Classes at the school are held on Sundays and include exercises, language tasks and games aimed at developing cognitive processes and creative thinking, and most importantly, Russian language and reading lessons, speech development and creativity. The school plans to introduce mathematics, chess and drama lessons into the curriculum.
