Children who feel valued and included are better equipped to show kindness and compassion to others, including those who are different from themselves.

  • Private Pre-Kindergarten in FULL SWING!

We’re learning about scientific methods at Primrose West Carrollton!. ..

  • Welcome to Og’s Book Corner

Each month we feature a classroom book that helps children feel a sense of belongingness. This month we sat down with Markette Sheppard to discuss her book “What Is Light?” and the message she wants to send to children.

  • Location, Location, Location!!!

Did you know we are located directly off State Highway 121 AND I35??? Very convenient for your daily commute!!! Located near the Indian Creek, Coyote Ridge, Castle Hills neighborhoods. And just a hop, skip, and a jump from The Colony! Come by for a visit!

  • How We Teach Math at Primrose

It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.

It’s a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That’s why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you need a license to run a doggie daycare?

A: Licensing requirements for dog daycare centers vary, depending on the jurisdiction. No federal licensing requirement exists. So, many state, county, and local governments establish laws, regulations, and ordinances for businesses that board animals. Check with your local government administration office and your state board of agriculture to learn about any licensing or permitting requirements in your area.

Q: Does Disney have dog daycare?

A: Walt Disney World’s Best Friends Pet Care provides doggy daycare to guests while they enjoy the park. It features 17,000 square feet of indoor space and 10,000 square feet of outdoor play areas and dog runs. There’s also a 25,000 square-foot dog park. The daycare employs 75 pet care providers.

Q: Does doggy daycare help with separation anxiety?

A: Separation anxiety is typically caused by undependable schedules, the introduction of new people, the loss of a family member, or a move. Separation anxiety can be awful for your four-legged companion. Fortunately, doggy daycare is an effective countermeasure. It gives your dog a dependable routine with lots of mental stimulation and physical exercise, lessening the effects of separation anxiety.

10 private kindergartens in Moscow with a non-standard approach

Public kindergartens have one advantage – the price.

Author profile

How much you have to pay depends on the region, but usually around 3000-4000 R per month. In all other respects, private kindergartens win: teachers try to create a free and at the same time developing atmosphere, monitor the health and nutrition of children, and in the classroom they teach not only to read and count, but also to understand their emotions, speak several languages and take care of the environment the world.

This article contains Moscow kindergartens with the most interesting programs.

Magic Castle

Briefly: learn foreign languages and get to know foreign culture
At what age will a child be taken: from 1 year
Location: Likhov lane, 3, bldg. Chernyshevsky lane, 4, building 1; Picturesque, 3, building 1; 1st Khvostov lane, 11, building 1
How much: 100,000—195,000 R per month

In Magic Castle, staff communicate with each other and with children mainly in English, and the curriculum allows graduates to enter the first grade of a British school.

In addition to English, children can learn German, Chinese, Italian, French or Spanish. Pupils who study only the basic program still get acquainted with the culture of different peoples: they cook national dishes and try on costumes, learn about the symbols and traditions of the peoples of the world.

During the day, children learn to read and count in two languages, go in for sports, learn about how the world works, in science classes, draw, sculpt, make applications and crafts from unusual materials: sand, eggshells, pebbles and even CDs.

What should be in a safe kindergarten and school

Magic Castle also has a “Talent Academy”: in addition to classical painting, singing and choreography classes, the kindergarten also offers unusual courses – a culinary school, a carpentry workshop and Lego robotics classes.

How much it costs: 188,000-402,000 R per trimester + entrance fee 100,000 R

The kindergarten operates simultaneously in three languages and in three educational programs: Russian, English and French . Native speakers are responsible for learning languages. They do not translate their speech into Russian, but actively accompany it with gestures, facial expressions and visual materials: toys, pictures and videos. Even if the child first encountered a new language, he will still be able to understand what the teacher means and get used to new words and grammatical structures.

During the day, the kindergarten does not overload children with “lessons”: most of the classes are held in the format of games so that children learn new things without noticing. In addition to languages, kids are engaged in physical education and creativity, and in the evening they can attend a theater or culinary studio, ballet, art and design, classes in game architecture or street quests.

You can go to the kindergarten according to a convenient schedule: for example, bring your child only for half a day or only for clubs, language courses or a conversation club in English or French. For children from one year old, there is a special group where they go with their parents: kids learn foreign languages at the same time as their native language and get used to them faster.

Montessori Family

Briefly: Maria Montessori kindergarten
At what age will a child be taken: from 9 months – with parents, from 1 year and 4 months – one
Where is Bamannaya, , page 2; Yakovoapostolsky pereulok, 11/13, bld. rule: give the child opportunities for development, and not impose learning from above. To do this, children need a special environment: bright classrooms with many objects that are at the level of the child’s eyes and “invite” him to interact. It can be both educational materials and ordinary household items.

Even in such a kindergarten, trained teachers should work, who will be able to understand what exactly the child needs at a particular moment, and offer him suitable materials, but interfere with the game as little as possible.

Montessori Family kindergarten teaches English and music, including the method of improvisation by Carl Orff, gymnastics based on the soft styles of martial arts. Groups in the garden are of different ages: the younger children learn from the older ones, and the older ones get used to helping and sharing their experience. LavkaLavka is responsible for food in the kindergarten: all food for children is prepared from seasonal farm products.

/toddlers/

How much I spent for a child under 5

The cost of visiting depends on the time the child spends in the kindergarten. Half-day classes cost 65,000 R per month, from 08:00 to 17:00 – 75,000 R per month, and from 08:00 to 20:00 – 85,000 R. You can also go to the kindergarten on Saturdays for yoga classes, music and creativity: three hours will cost 4,500 R per visit, or 24,000 R if you pay for a month at once.

Treehouse

Brief: upbringing according to the Reggio method
At what age will a child be taken: from 3 years old
Where is it: Bolshaya Yakimanka, 50
How much it costs: 70 000 R per month + entrance fee 90 000 on the site

Source: facebook. com

Reggio is an Italian pedagogical technique, somewhat similar to the Montessori method. At the center of her attention is respect for the personality of the child: adults do not insist on certain activities, but offer children options so that everyone can find something to their liking.

The space of the kindergarten is divided into several zones, between which children move freely: swing in hammocks, look out the windows, sit on wide window sills, play with water in the sink, look at plants through a microscope or find a corner where they can play alone.

There are also collective classes in the kindergarten: exercise therapy with elements of aerial yoga, English and mathematics lessons, a carpentry workshop and a theater studio. Throughout the day, teachers teach children to be aware and articulate their emotions, communicate without violating each other’s personal boundaries, and resolve conflicts for the benefit of all parties.

If desired, parents can attend classes: the kindergarten has a special round table for them, at which it is convenient to drink tea or work while the child adapts to the new situation.

Magic World

Briefly: Try yourself in different types of art
From what age they will take the child: from 14 months
Where it is located: Michurinsky Prospekt, 6, K. 3
How much it costs: 60 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 R per month

Magic World Kindergarten follows the educational methodology of the Hungarian pediatrician Emmy Pickler. This system puts respect for the child in the first place and requires maximum freedom for him – educators allow children to choose activities and only pick up their initiative.

At the same time, children in Magic World are divided into age groups. Toddlers get acquainted with musical instruments and learn to communicate with each other, children from 2. 5 to 4 years old begin cognitive activities, and from 4 years old they can join an English group and study at once in two school preparation programs: Russian and international, which was developed by at Harvard.

In addition to the classic preschool “lessons” – reading, counting, studying the world around us – the program includes the theory of inventive problem solving, yoga and arts and crafts. In 2020, an art laboratory for the synthesis of arts appeared in the kindergarten: children try themselves in different areas of creativity and can decide which occupation they feel more inclined to.

Grain path

Briefly: Waldorf school and kindergarten
From what age they will take the child: 3.5 years
Where is it: Miklukho-Maclay, 20a
How much: 25 800-35 500 500 R per month + entrance fee 40,000 R
Details: on the website

Source: putzerna. ru

The Way of the Grain is a whole educational complex with a school, a kindergarten and additional classes in needlework, folklore and several types of gymnastics. All this is connected by the concept of Waldorf pedagogy: teachers strive to grow an independent and harmoniously developed adult out of a child, who has balanced physical health, emotional sphere and spirituality.

Kindergarten is the first stage of such education. Teachers are trying to support the natural desire of children to repeat after others: all pupils study together, regardless of age, in the same way that children were raised in large families before. Gardeners – as educators are called here – involve children in useful deeds. For example, during the day there is a time when adults do housework – if desired, children can join them.

There are also special developmental activities: children learn watercolor painting, wax modeling, baking cookies and doing eurythmy exercises. Once a week, a city walk replaces a full-fledged group trip to the forest: children learn about the life of nature not from books and stories of adults, but observe everything with their own eyes.

Entering kindergarten is not easy: the whole family has to pass an interview. During the meeting, teachers will talk about the principles of the kindergarten, and parents about their expectations and family life.

Classic boarding house of Moscow State University. Lomonosov

Briefly: to reveal the intellectual potential from the cradle
At what age will a child be taken: from 6 months – with parents, from 2 years old – one
Location: Lobachevsky, 118, room 3; Bolshaya Ochakovskaya, 25a; Potapovskaya Grove, 2, building 5
How much: 23,000-90,000 R per month, depending on the program and branch
Details: on the website

Source: pansionmsu.ru Lomonosov takes care of the development of the child from early childhood until graduation from school. Babies are engaged together with their parents according to the early development program, and from the age of two, a child can fully attend kindergarten from morning to evening and even stay overnight if necessary.

The lesson program is arranged according to the principle “from general to particular”: this helps to form a holistic view of the world in the child and teach how to structure information. For example, the geographical block begins with general ideas about what the Universe, the galaxy and the Milky Way are, and gradually the children move on to getting to know different climatic zones of the Earth and their hometown.

/guide/kindergarten-compensation/

How to get compensation for kindergarten

Children learn something new not only during the time specially allocated for “lessons”, but simply during the day: educators integrate information into games, excursions, physical education and drawing. So that such an intensive schedule does not affect the health of children, in addition to teachers, psychologists, doctors and speech therapists look after the pupils.

Luchik

Briefly: early career guidance and individual educational program
At what age will a child be taken: from 1 year old — with parents, from 2 years old — single
Location: Ostozhenka, 7; Alabyana, 12
How much it costs: 35,000-90,000 R per month, depending on the program and branch
Details: on the website

Source: vk. com

Falcon. The Ostozhenka branch offers a bilingual program: from the age of four, children study subjects both in Russian and in English, with most of the lessons taught by native speakers. Other classes are devoted to the development of social intelligence: children learn to manage emotions and make decisions in both normal and stressful situations, master the skills of teamwork and solo work, and become aware of their interests and strengths. During long socio-communicative and economic games, children undergo early career guidance. This allows the family to consciously build further education for the child.

In the kindergarten on Sokol, children do not learn a foreign language so intensively, and the freed up time is devoted to a more comprehensive development of the intellect. For example, design and robotics form logical and mathematical intelligence, an art studio and theatrical games form an emotional and aesthetic one, speech development and English lessons form a linguistic one, and physical education and sports events form a biological one.

At the same time, teachers do not forget about social skills: in the classroom, children learn to set specific goals and analyze their experiences.

Health is also monitored here: educators in a playful way teach children hygiene, harden and prevent colds and flu. In the Sokol branch, a visit to the salt cave is added to this – if there are no contraindications to the procedure.

Daisies-Cornflowers

Briefly: versatile development of the child and convenient service
At what age will the child be taken: from 14 months
Location: Polyany, 41; Residential complex “Butovo Park-1”, 23, building 2
How much: 24 500-35 000 R per month
Details: on the website

Source: facebook.com

There are six different age groups in the Daisy-Cornflower kindergarten. The lesson program takes into account age characteristics: in the nursery, children are not overloaded with teamwork, and classes in the older group include the prevention of dysgraphia and dyslexia, the development of phonemic perception and the formation of emotional intelligence.

At the same time, the main blocks of daily activities are the same for everyone. Every day is organized so that children have time to participate in a variety of activities: work in a research laboratory, go in for sports and music, read or listen to a fairy tale, practice the basics of etiquette and talk in English with native speakers.

Personal experience: what to look for when choosing a private kindergarten

For busy parents, the kindergarten is especially convenient: if necessary, the child can be left there for the night or arrange a transfer – the driver will pick up the child from home, hand it over to the caregivers, and return it back in the evening with all the necessary things.

Yoko

Briefly: kindergarten according to the Japanese method
At what age the child will be taken: from 1 year 6 months
Location: Shelepikhinskaya embankment, 34, building 1
How much it costs: 65,000 R per month + entrance fee 25,000 R
Details: on the website

In this kindergarten, attention is also paid to the harmonious development of the child , but they understand it in their own way. Educators do not immerse kids in an abundance of educational courses, but try to balance the three forces in them – bodies, hearts and learning.

Children train the strength of the body in physical education: classes are held 3-4 times a day for 40 minutes and are based on hatha yoga exercises – this teaches children patience. The strength of the heart, or sensitivity, is developed by music lessons: children play the pionik – a special musical instrument that combines wind and keyboard parts – and learn to hear the tone, express emotions and feel the rhythm.

The power of learning is formed by repeated repetition of reading, writing and counting exercises. Teachers make sure that the level of complexity of tasks is constantly increasing, and the child hears the recognition of his success: this is how motivation for learning will appear by itself.

You can go to kindergarten for a full day or half a day, and not necessarily in the morning: Yoko also offers an evening option. All groups are formed so that there is a minimum difference in age between the pupils, and no more than 15 children are engaged at the same time – so that the educators have time to pay attention to each child.
