Wylie has always been the most welcoming school the first time I ever stepped into a building almost 12 years ago. We have Wylie Way days where we step forward as a community and show how amazing of a school district we really are. The faculty and staff are amazing as well. Everyone is always making sure we have a perfect learning environment as well as making class fun. If I didn’t go to Wylie, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I feel safe walking into my classes everyday and I am always ready to learn! We have so many amazing clubs and after school activities that help me feel more welcomed each and everyday. I have never not felt welcomed in Wylie ISD. If I could stay with this community forever, I sure would!

Wylie ISD not only focuses heavily on academia, but also on personal responsibility and respect for others. Once a semester, academics are put on pause to emphasis a good characteristic, such as grit or hard work, throughout all schools for an entire day! Parents do not need to worry about their kids being indoctrinated into anti-American rhetoric. Most of the schools won multiple awards for high test scores on more than one occasion. The majority of teachers are decent with some exceptions. Most of all, Wylie ISD does not get caught in cheating scandals or anything similar. Overall, I’d give the district an A.

I love the Wylie Independent School District , teachers, staff and the community. Wylie has encouraged me to grow emotionally, mentally, physically and has provided me with a well rounded education. I look forward to pursuing my degree in Education/ History because of a former Jr. High School teacher . This teacher was amazing, encouraging, fun and a true role model. I have enjoyed my time as a TAFE officer while in High School. I have become more outgoing by participating in the TAFE competitions. I am excited about going to elementary schools and assisting in teaching classes with the teachers. Wylie ISD has provided many opportunities to succeed and pursue any career. I look forward to attending college and hopefully coming back to Wylie ISD to be a teacher and then some day a school counselor. I want to give back to the community that provided me with the opportunities’ I was given. Wylie ISD strives to be the best it can be in all aspects . I appreciate & cherish my Wylie ISD

Featured Review: Parent says This is truly one of the best schools you can ask for. The building is old, the classrooms are small, it looks like nothing or low rent. The experience on the other hand is amazing. The kids excel at everything and get a ton of support from the teachers. Students leave Hillside far ahead of most of their peers and a lot more mature. Hillside is a program that challenges the kids and keeps them active. Hillside Academy has been a bright spot. We have our second child going through the program and our other child is already getting paid internships at age 15. The average student at Hillside Academy…They put those little minds to work..
