4. Parent: My son started here in August 2020. I was SO impressed with how the team navigated those difficult times. They worked tirelessly to ensure my son had an amazing experience. His main instructor, Susan, noticed early that my son struggled with reading, so we had him tested. He was diagnosed as dyslexic. I am so grateful for her early intervention. My son actually enjoys reading & writing now! I think Susan both ignited & saved my son’s passion for learning. My son’s 1st grade year was off-the-charts incredible. He loves being at school! He misses it this Summer. Along with the academic side, the emotional & social aspects of this school’s education are beyond what I had expected.    Middle School Student: This school is like most, except for a few notable areas. It has an extensive and large TSA program, as well as a special class called Mustang Productions which is a combination film/media class.
   Also, the eighth graders get personal laptops. Next year (2018), the seventh graders will as well, and then the year after, so will the sixth years.
   The biggest drawback is lack of teachers. Class sizes are ok. But due to the lack of willing teachers in Oklahoma , schools struggle to attract teachers. Thus Cheyenne has a large amount of average-subpar teachers- the bottom of the barrel. Don’t get me wrong, there are some FANTASTIC teachers (Mrs. Macrory comes to mind) but there are a lot of second-stringers. Some are brand new- and I don’t mean out of college.
   There are people who have never taught a day in their life who were roped in at the last second this year. Only a few teachers are truly bad, and only a few great. Most are average- very average, indeed…. Read 4 reviews

30. Parent: I really can’t say enough about how much our family appreciates and loves St. Elizabeth’s.
    Our daughter has been there for first and second grade, starting during a time when DPS was shut down due to COVID. (St. Elizabeth’s had such incredible leadership, staff and community that it was able to stay open.) She has excelled there. We feel that her emotional, psychological, intellectual, artistic and physical needs are all more than met by the school, and are truly impressed by the absolute quality of her overall education.
    Beyond the education is the school itself, which upholds values that are extremely important to our family. The sliding scale tuition ensures true socio-economic diversity. The focus on social impact, diversity, inclusion, equality and empowerment is so refreshing – and genuine. And the staff and faculty! It would be harder to find kinder, smarter and more dedicated people anywhere.

Charter Schools | Oklahoma City

The number of charter schools — or public schools established by contract with sponsors teaching a specific curriculum or learning style — is growing in Greater Oklahoma City. Several Greater Oklahoma City school districts are authorized by state law to have charter schools with most charter schools being sponsored by Oklahoma City Public Schools.

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber and other organizations are working with the Oklahoma legislature to expand the utilization of charter schools. Expansion of charter schools will allow districts to improve their performance as well as give parents more options for their children’s educations.

iPad Continuation Plan
Putnam City School District is proud to be a one-to-one technology district. This individual access to iPads allows our students the privilege to be on the cutting edge of education. To ensure that we can continue this program, students will be held accountable for damaged iPads. Below is the iPad Continuation Plan. Even with this plan, the district incurs a large amount of repair cost. Students will be held accountable for a portion of repair cost upon the second incident of damage during middle school, even if the damage does not occur within the same school
year. Incidents of damage do not start over each year, instead they carry over each year of middle school. Students who have outstanding damage fees will only be allowed access to a computer in the classroom until the damage charge is paid in full. The most common incident reported is iPads being stepped on while on the floor. Please communicate with your student to keep their iPad off of the floor at all times, especially while at lockers and switching classes. We look forward to another year of learning on iPads, and are grateful that our district is able to provide these great learning tools on an individual basis to students. iPad Continuation Plan:

School is one of the most popular settings dramas . Almost any conflict, up to a global epidemic, showrunners manage to put in junhakkyo (middle school) or kodeunhakkyo (high school). A commoner becomes the object of bullying by a group of classmates who call themselves the F4 gang. The situation becomes more complicated when a love triangle forms in the gang, one of the corners of which is the same Chan-di.

With the pace of drama production approaching the Bollywood or Turkish production line, this 2009 story can already be classified as a classic of the genre. The script is based on the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango, which 20 years ago was considered almost a must-have for a Korean television series. As well as the development of two themes: resistance to falling in love and opposition to mossy class or family foundations.

Director Kim Young-soo creates a geometric visual, while an eclectic soundtrack (Primal Scream, Massive Attack, The Pixies, Velvet Underground) adds a layer of irony. There is also a love line – that’s why “White Christmas” still remains a drama.
