Azusa | it’s… What is Azusa?

Azusa (eng. Azusa ) is a city in Los Angeles County, California with a population of 46,616 ^[1] as of 2008. The name of the city apparently comes from the word Asuksagna (English Asuksagna ), which the local Tongva Indians called this place ^[2] .

Geography

The city is located at the entrance to the San Gabriel Canyon (hence the nickname “Canyon City”) on the east side of the San Gabriel River.

Azusa has an area of ​​23.1 km².
