It was not easy having to drop my son off at daycare starting at 8 weeks old, but the director and staff at ChildTime of Santa Ana have helped make my transition back to work the best it could possibly be. The ability to receive photos and updates on BrightWheel and see video footage throughout the day also helps tremendously! I am forever grateful for this team and the love and care they have shown

Our daughter has been enrolled at Childtime Tustin for nearly one year, and we have been really happy with our experience here. My husband and I routinely talk about how wonderful it is that Childtime is part of our lives, giving our daughter thorough care and varied, stimulating experiences, like creative arts and crafts in class, a morning of bowling instruction, and spontaneous dance parties with
. ..
her teachers. Her teachers have all been loving and joyful towards her. I also enjoy the BrightWheel App with the updated pictures of her throughout the day as well as her activities. Also, the live-feed camera provides me a peek into her day, always reassuring me that she is having a great time with her toddler friends and teachers. Childtime Tustin feels like another member of our family with the great care they provide to our daughter and the peace of mind they give to us. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Read what parents are saying about Childtime
When my son was 3, we traveled all around the area looking for a daycare. As educators, it becomes difficult not to look at details beyond a regular daycare. Many of the childcares we toured were good and would have been fine, but CHILDTIME was far above what we expected. There was such a welcoming atmosphere and the providers above all were so thoughtful and dedicated. The facilities at the Santa Ana site were also above the norm. It has been quite a few years since we first arrived and we continue to strongly believe in the care and first educational experiences that started there at CHILDTIME.

my kids started in Kindergarten. At the time the school was great. since the introduction of the Mandarin Immersion Program (MIP), my kids have all expressed how they feel like they are not getting the same attention to their needs as the MIP program students are. This has been expressed to me from quite a few other parents. The test scores have really dropped for the school as well over the years.

Teachers and staff are all great. The principal is always looking for ways to help students grow. It would be of great help to see more parent volunteers. My son has been going to here since Kinder and every teacher every year takes the time to help my son whenever he is falling behind. This year my son joined the robotics club and really enjoyed it.

We love Salem Lutheran School. We currently have three kids attending Salem and they have never had a teacher they didn’t like. My husband and I are both educators and we are very pleased with the academics at Salem. They even offer 3-D printing and robotics classes in their junior high. The teachers are excellent on communication with the parents and we know that our kids are loved and cared for when they are at school. They have an AMAZING art program for an elementary school. Our kids have made friends for life at Salem. I would recommend this school in a heartbeat to anyone.

My children are not Hispanic. The teachers and administrators did nothing when my children experienced bullying. There are no activities for children to experience diversity. There is such minimal parent teacher contact. There is no challenge here for students, unless children are only spanish speaking. There is such minimal college encouragement.

The Principal, teachers and most parents are highly involved in the student’s education. They have great programs like Meet the Masters where students learn about famous artists and do similar artwork. That program was funded by their own PTA program. They also have wind class, my oldest is playing the clarinet and loves it! They also have a lot of educational field trips where kids get to see what they are learning about. Best school, Best teachers and Best Principal and Vice Principal!!! The Ranking is low only because it’s an overall score that they get for all grades. Taking it into consideration that there is a lot of English learner students starting kinder that did not previously attend school. Once you attend the monthly meetings the Principal discusses the growth of each grade level and that’s where you see the students improvement by their grade. Highly recommend this school!

Michelle Pfeiffer biography actress, photo 2022
Biography Michelle Pfeiffer
Michelle Pfeiffer is a girl of rare beauty and rare talent. In many ways, this is why many of her screen images have long become a real legend in the world of big cinema. She was Catwoman, the “Witch of Eastwick” and many other colorful characters.
Her extraordinary acting and subtle ability to transform into a variety of characters brought our today’s heroine many cinematic awards. However, let’s not rush things too much … We will tell about all the most interesting and remarkable moments in the life of Michelle Pfeiffer in our today’s article.
Early life, childhood and family Michelle Pfeiffer
The future star of American cinema was born in the small town of Santa Ana (California) and became the second child in a family in which, in addition to herself, there were three more offspring. The whole huge family was looked after by the mother of our today’s heroine – Donna Taverna, who for most of her life was a housewife. The financial support of the family lay on the shoulders of Michelle’s father, Richard Pfeiffer. Throughout his life, the man owned a small company selling air conditioners and heating appliances.
Michelle Pfeiffer – Legendary Catwoman
As for the more distant relatives of the future American movie star, in this context it is worth noting that Dutch, Irish, German, Swedish and Swiss blood flows in Miss Pfeiffer’s veins. Perhaps it was this crazy symbiosis that predetermined the versatility that our today’s heroine has always been famous for?
Anyway, in early childhood Michelle was a very active and mobile child. She always sat through the lessons with difficulty, and also had a rather steep temper. Once the girl even wanted to be expelled from school. However, the solution to the problem came by itself – just a few months later, the parents of the future actress left the city of Santa Ana and moved to Midway City. After that, there was another move – to the town of Fountain Valley. It was here that the future celebrity graduated from high school.
In addition to the constant absences from school, Michelle had several other hobbies in her life. Like all other teenagers in California, she was very fond of surfing, basketball and acting classes. In this context, it is worth noting that our today’s heroine attended such lessons simply because it was fashionable among her friends. Michelle Pfeiffer did not even think about the career of an actress. More attractive to her has always been the profession of a model.
Hollywood actress Michelle Pfeiffer turned 55 …
However, for a long time she remained something unattainable for a young girl. The thing is that one fine day in the family of the future celebrity, problems with money began. Because of this, our today’s heroine had to go to work from the age of fourteen. At first she was a saleswoman in a clothing store, then a waitress and a controller in a supermarket.
After graduating from high school, Michelle Pfeiffer went to college, but left it very soon, realizing that education is not at all an important criterion for a successful career.
Star Trek Michelle Pfeiffer
In 1978, our today’s heroine showed up at the Miss California pageant. As part of this competition, the girl reached one of the final stages, however, in the end, she still left the race.
Despite this, the competition allowed the girl to catch the eye of prominent American producers, who very soon offered Michelle Pfeiffer the first movie roles.
For the first time, our today’s heroine had a chance to appear on the screen as part of the Delta House sitcom. After this small role in the filmography of the actress, some other minor works appeared. However, over time, the format of Michelle Pfeiffer’s roles gradually grew, and very soon, truly bright and remarkable works began to appear in the track record of the young charming actress. These include the romantic films “Grease 2” and “In the Night”, as well as in the truly cult films “Scarface” and “The Witches of Eastwick”. In each of these tapes, the pretty American beauty got the main roles. She worked on the same platform with such stars as Jack Nicholson, Cher,
Susan Sarandon and others.
Thus, by the mid-eighties, Michelle Pfeiffer had become one of the most popular and sought-after actresses of her time. Already in the status of an accomplished star, the girl starred in several new blockbusters, among which the films “Dangerous Liaisons”, “Married to the Mafia”, “Russian House”, “The Famous Baker Brothers”, “Frankie and Johnny”, “The Age of Innocence”, ” Field of love. Each of these tapes was marked by prestigious cinematographic prizes or nominations.
Particularly in this list, it is worth highlighting the films “Dangerous Liaisons” and “The Famous Baker Brothers”, which brought the actress awards from the British Film Academy BAFTA, as well as the Golden Globe.
Between 1994 and 2003, Michelle Pfeiffer performed many iconic roles, noting herself in the films Deep Down, The Story of Us, I Am Sam, What Lies Lies. Her roles ranged from comedy to drama, from horror to romantic melodrama. However, the next nomination for the prestigious film award happened only in 2003. During this period, the US Screen Actors Guild drew attention to the role of Pfeiffer in the film “White Oleander”. But the main award that year went to another.
Michelle Pfeiffer now
Recently, Michelle continues to please the fans of her talent with new bright roles. She is still beautiful and talented, and in order to understand this, just watch the films “Cheri”, “Stardust”, “I will never be yours”, “Dark Shadows”, “Personal” and some others.
Michelle Pfeiffer has a rich filmography
In this context, again, one cannot fail to note the versatility of Michelle’s images and the diversity of the films in which she is filmed. Vivid confirmation of this is the crime drama “Malavita”, which was released in 2013 and became the actress’s first work in this genre for many years.
Michelle Pfeiffer’s private life
Michelle had two marriages in her life. The first husband of our today’s heroine was the actor Peter Hornton, with whom the girl lived for seven years. Since 1993, the American beauty has been married to screenwriter and producer David Edward Kelly. Currently, the lovers are still together. The couple lives in California and has two children – an adopted daughter, Claudia-Rosa (b. 1992) and a son, John-Henry (b. 1994).

Antonio de Padua Maria Severino Lopez de Santa Anna y Perez de Lebron | Politicians, public figures
The man with the long and sonorous name Antonio de Padua Maria Severino López de Santa Anna y Perez de LeBron was known simply as General Santa Anna, although he had many sonorous nicknames. He was called the Eagle, Liberator of Veracruz, Hero of Tampico, Founder of the Republic and Savior of the Motherland. He organized revolutions and conspiracies, lived in exile, was president of Mexico 11 times and became the actual father of … chewing gum in its modern form.
Santa Anna liked most of all when he was called by analogy with his idol – Napoleon of the West. By the way, this appeal, just like your clairvoyance, he came up with himself. Among his nicknames were such as, for example, the Executioner of the Alamo, who spoke of the dark sides of his nature.
Needless to say, wars and battles, revolutions and conspiracies, feats and crimes in his life would be enough for a dozen adventurers with a lower rank …
Record holder
Santa Anna was born at 1794 in the Mexican town of Xalapa, Veracruz, in an aristocratic Creole family. He had a penchant for adventure since childhood. The development of this character trait was primarily facilitated by the era in which his youth passed: it fell on the years of the liberation struggle of the Latin American colonies of Spain for independence. At first he fought on the side of the Spaniards with the revolutionaries, but then changed his mind, went over to the side of the Mexicans and helped them overthrow the yoke of the Spanish crown. General Santa Anna, by the way, became surprisingly quickly – at the age of 27. In this he is only slightly inferior to the French Napoleon, who became a general at the age of 24.
Courage helped him gain popularity among the people and become the eighth president of Mexico. The first time he managed to lead this country in May 1833, and in total he was its president for 22 years. What a turbulent time it was, eloquently speaks of the fact that only in 1833, Santa Anna managed to be president of Mexico three times with a two-week and three-month break, and in total he was elected 11 times!
From freedom to despotism
A youthful defection to the Mexican revolutionaries heralded many similar betrayals in later years. Santa Anna, depending on the situation and his own interests, often changed political and other views to the opposite. During his rise to power, he was a defender of freedom, but as president, he became a supporter of a strong hand.
“Tell Mr. Poinsett,” he once asked the US Ambassador to Mexico in response to criticism, “that… before my freedom, I tore off my hat with great fervor and complete sincerity, but soon realized the folly of it. Hundreds of years will pass before my people will be worthy of it (freedom)… Despotism is the real government for it…”.
Not surprisingly, President Santa Anna broke away from the people and quickly began to lose his support. The last nails in the coffin of his popularity were driven by the Mexican-American War, as a result of which Mexico lost half of its territory. Despite many lost battles, Santa Anna continued to consider himself a great and indispensable politician and military leader. Having been captured in the battle of San Jacinto, he praised the American who captured him with pathos: “The man who captured the very Napoleon of the West has every right to consider himself a real hero. ”
Fatal miscalculation
Having once again lost power, Antonio Lopez Santa Anna was forced to go into exile. He lived in Cuba, Colombia, Jamaica and other Caribbean islands. In the Danish West Indies, an important meeting took place in his life with the head of the US foreign policy department, William Seward. Mistaking the US Secretary of State’s sympathy as support for the United States, he decided that Washington was ready to help him fight the Mexican government. Blinded by pride and a lust for power, Santa Anna organized a conspiracy at his own expense and went to New York. There he quickly became convinced of the miscalculation and in the end even ended up in the dock. The lawsuit cost him several tens of thousands of pesos. As a result, Santa Anna, by the way, for many years a big fan of gambling and in particular cockfighting, accustomed to a luxurious life for many years in power, was forced to rent a very modest house for a multiple president on Staten Island, which was then still a fishing village and was not even part of New York. There began the last stage of the turbulent life of General Santa Anna, which made him famous not only in both Americas, but also on other continents.
A new adventure
Departing for New York, Santa Anna took with him a large supply of chicle, an analogue of chewing gum, which was popular in Mexico for many centuries before the Spanish conquest and which the general himself chewed with pleasure. Chicle was made from the milky juice of sapodilla, an evergreen tree with a pyramidal crown that grows in the Yucatan Peninsula.
Despite his age, poor health, undermined by numerous military campaigns and battles, and rapidly deteriorating eyesight due to cataracts, Antonio López Santa Anna had a clear mind and a thirst for power and adventures. Santa Anna came up with what he thought was a brilliant idea. He decided to get rich with the help of chikla, recruit an army and regain power in his homeland. Only the general was going to use chicle not as a tasteless chewing gum, but to replace the expensive rubber from which the carriage tires were then made from the sapodilla latex underlying it.
Santa Anna learned about the existence of the inventor Thomas Adams, who also lived on Staten Island at the time, from an interpreter. He shared his idea and asked for help in the implementation of the project. By that time, Thomas Adams’ numerous unsuccessful attempts to vulcanize chicle had fed him, and he was looking for new promising directions for his inquisitive mind. But then something didn’t work out.
Instead of tires
In 1874, 80-year-old and almost blind Antonio López Santa Anna returned under an amnesty to Mexico. After 2 years, forgotten by everyone, he died in complete poverty in Mexico City, never knowing that his latest adventure with chicle could make him a millionaire.
But his former business partner, Thomas Adame, became rich thanks to the chicle. True, he did not use it for crew tires, but as a basis for the production of chewing gum. The inventor expressed his gratitude to chicle by naming the brand of gum candy inside “Chicklets”.
By the end of the 19th century, the Adams Sons and Company, a family business, had grown into the prosperous American Chicle Company. At that time, the largest chewing gum plant in the world, located in New York near the Brooklyn Bridge, employed more than 300 workers.
Chewing gum became so popular that in one of his articles on Prohibition, another famous inventor, Nikola Tesla, claimed that it was more dangerous than alcohol abuse.
A PR genius
Santa Anna owed its popularity not only to courage and adventurism, which impressed many in those turbulent times. To improve his image, in addition to victories on the battlefield, he often resorted to techniques that would now certainly be highly appreciated by modern PR specialists. What was worth, for example, at least a state funeral with full military honors … his amputated ankle, lost in battle with the French at Veracruz in 1838, where he was wounded in the arm and leg. The wooden prosthesis that Santa Anna used after the amputation of her ankle went to the Americans after one of the battles of the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848. Later, this prosthesis somehow got to the famous American entrepreneur Phineas Barnum, who exhibited it as a war trophy in his circus. True, there is an opinion that this is not Santa Anna’s prosthesis at all, but one of the many hoaxes of the famous circus performer.
Whatever the case, General and President Santa Anna’s prosthesis is now believed to be in the National Guard Museum in Springfield. Mexico City demands his return to his homeland from time to time, but is regularly refused.
