Our program offers Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K Early Childhood Education programs. Our focus is to prepare your child for Kindergarten and beyond! We also have Before- and After-School care, as well as a Summer Camp Program for children ages 5-12.

All of our staff is certified in CPR/First Aid and engages in monthly training that is geared towards all aspects of early childhood education. We also participate in necessary training according to the policies and requirements of Michigan State Licensing.

The staff here are so incredibly kind and cared so well for our baby in the short time we had him here. They communicate very well with parents and we got photos daily! Cameras in the classroom make it easy to sneak a peek as well. Tutor Time makes safety their priority which gave me constant peace of mind.

Our son went here for 3 months and he LOVED it. They took such great care of him. The school is organized, staff is super helpful and nice. I was never worried about dropping him off. The only reason we are leaving is due to having a closer location open up cutting down our drive time significantly. I would highly recommend Tutor time on 28th street!

My kids have been going to Tutor Time for over 2 1/2 years since we moved to the area. The staff and teachers are so friendly and amazing. My kids like to go to school and have progress in development since going there. We love the directors Melissa and Mel they are wonderful.

I LOVE Tutor Time! My son is only 11 months old, but has attended since he was 4 months. They have planned activities for the babies and send pictures throughout the day. It is hard having such a young child in day care, but I know he is in great hands! They call me any time he has a temp above 99 or if they feel like he is not acting himself that day. Every staff member knows who my son and will greet me by name. I have never entered the building and not been greeted! It is a little pricey, but the level of professionalism makes the price worth it. I have toured so many daycares in the area and have not found one as professional as this one!

How the subscription works | Preply Help Center

Subscriptions allow students to choose their weekly number of class hours and set up recurring auto payments to top up the number of hours every 28 days.

After the trial lesson, the student can subscribe to lessons with their tutor.

By subscribing, students pay for the first 28 days. The subscription will automatically renew every 28 days until he/she cancels it. When you renew your subscription, we will charge the required amount from the saved card and add training hours for the next 28 days. nine0003

Once the payment has been processed, the student can continue with their regular lessons or add one-time lessons for the next month.

Once a student has scheduled lessons, subscription and scheduling information will be available on the My Lessons page.

Why a subscription?

Based on our extensive qualitative and quantitative research (observing the data and communicating with our students and tutors), we have noticed that tutors teach much more with a subscription (since more lessons are taken from them). We have also noticed that our tutors are getting a more stable income thanks to the new earning model. nine0003

After analyzing feedback from tutors, we also realized that with subscriptions, tutors are more likely to get more motivated and committed students, rather than those who are interested in 1 or 2 lessons and do not want to study regularly. In addition, with subscriptions, tutors will have less frustration associated with the fact that students take lessons without clear goals or a desire to study for the long term.

How Subscription Works

Booking & Rescheduling a Lesson

Lessons can be scheduled at the available times listed on the Tutor’s Preply Calendar. Students should plan their lessons in advance to be able to choose the most convenient time. Lessons not scheduled within 28 days are burned. nine0003

Lessons can be scheduled in advance (within 28 days or even later if the subscription expires). This allows students to keep their balance (it just rolls over to the next month(s)). If a student does not schedule subscription lessons, those hours expire when a new subscription cycle is paid.

Subscription suspension

Students can suspend their subscription if they or their tutor are unavailable. Subscriptions can be suspended indefinitely.

Student missed lesson/Refund

If the lesson was manually or automatically confirmed and the student did not cancel it, the tutor will immediately receive payment for the lesson.

Cancellation of a lesson does not guarantee a refund unless the student was absent and the lesson was confirmed. Preply can refund funds if they have not been used during the subscription period, provided that the payment was made less than 28 days ago.

Unused hours

If a student does not use their study hours for 28 days but schedules lessons for the coming month (or any date in the future), those unused hours will be added to the balance. If a student does not use the clock and schedule lessons, the clock will expire.

Price change

Tutors can change the price of a lesson as part of a subscription. The tutor can simply notify their student of the upcoming changes before applying them.

Flexible

Tutors and students can pause their subscription at any time and take vacations, days off or sick days. All functions will be suspended, including lesson scheduling. If students cancel or end their subscription, they can continue to schedule and book lessons with their remaining balance. In this case, the balance on the balance sheet does not expire after 28 days.

Payment

There are no changes in the payment process. As with lesson packages, you will receive payment for each lesson after it has been manually or automatically confirmed (or if canceled 4 hours before the start of the lesson or less). Payment will not be charged for unscheduled hours. nine0003

Subscription price depends on the tutor’s hourly rate. If the remaining hours are not scheduled for another date within 28 days, those hours will expire and the student will not be able to use them.

Example: if you are a math tutor and your students want to subscribe to 1 hour of lessons with you per week, they can choose the smallest subscription of 4 hours per month. A few examples to help clarify student questions:

My subscription was made on April 1st and I have 8 hours (2 hours per week) to use over the next 28 days. I only use 5 hours. What will happen in the following cases:

1. I will not book for these remaining 3 hours and will be charged for a new subscription on April 29th. From April 29, there will be 8 new hours on my balance. My total balance on April 29th will be 10 hours (8 new hours + 2 hours from the previous subscription cycle). My subscription plan is 2 hours per week so I can accumulate up to 2 unused + unscheduled hours. Accordingly, 2 hours from last month will remain on my balance. I will lose 1 hour if the lesson for that hour was not scheduled in advance. nine0003

2. If I pre-book classes for May for the remaining 3 hours and I’m charged for a new subscription cycle on the 29th. From April 29, there will be 8 new hours on my balance. My total balance on April 29th will be 11 hours (8 new hours + 3 hours from the previous subscription cycle). Since the lessons for these 3 hours were planned in advance, I won’t lose a single hour.

3. If I don’t pre-book lessons for the remaining 3 hours and cancel my subscription by the 29th. On April 29, I will NOT be charged for the subscription and the new watch will not be added to my balance. My total balance is 29April will be 2 hours from the previous subscription cycle. My subscription plan is 2 hours per week so I can accumulate up to 2 unused + unscheduled hours. Accordingly, 2 hours from last month will remain on my balance. I will lose 1 hour because the lesson for this hour was not scheduled in advance. I have 28 days to use this watch.

4. If for the remaining 3 hours I pre-book lessons for May and cancel my subscription by the 29th.
