We took 4 teenage girls who had never really enjoyed these activities before. The first few times they wiped out, but by the end of their 1 hour session they understood it and were able to ride it much better. About 16 kids in our class which was a bit of a bummer because they had to wait a long time between turns. Food offerings are very limited, but if you want pizza then you can. Good entertainment to try at least once.

The kids had a great time!

My husband and I took our 5 kids (for ages ranging between 3 and 15) to SurfXtreme for a 1 hour jump session on Saturday night. They have a summer special, 1/2 off the jump on Saturdays, so it only cost us $24 for all 5 of them. I assumed it would be very crowded on a Saturday night but to my surprise our kids had the entire trampoline area to themselves most of the time. After an hour they were very tired and completely enjoyed themselves. The staff was very kind and helpful. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We will definitely return, because. for a lot of activities. All children are very happy to try indoor surf. Another impressive aspect for me was the food/drinks. I bought the guys each pink lemonade and they were only $2 a piece with which is nice crushed ice AND free refills. Usually, in amusement parks and attractions for children, food and drinks for our family alone will drain our wallets. Therefore, we went out there with 5 devastated and happy kids only spending $34. It was a wonderful experience.

Interesting for teenagers and teenagers

We have been here several times. If it’s not crowded, the kids get to have a good amount of time on the water. The staff is helpful and the kids seem to pick it up pretty quickly. However, don’t expect to be a breeze your first time. It’s very loud – the car runs non-stop to keep the water flowing, so expect it. You can sit outside the surf area and see the surf – if you are sensitive to chlorine this is a good option for you. You won’t get great photos – when the kids fall, that’s fast. The trampolines are a hit – a great way to help them burn off that last bit of energy. We’ve had parties here and the rooms are big and clean. The staff is nice about helping but sometimes they are busy and you have to get help refillers. We’re pretty informal about our groups so that was good for us. It’s surfing, ‘dude’, so you must have that mindset – just chilling’.

Extreme fun!

This place is amazing. I have a 13 year old grandson who absolutely loves it. When ever I’m in Elk Grove visiting it has become our special thing to do. We have been going there for several years now. He is a very active boy and this gives him an outlet for some of his excess energy and gets him off the video games. Interesting for beginners and advanced surfers. And of course he loves showing off for my camera.

I took my Godson and whatever friend he wants to bring with me. They love it and it teaches them separation. One child must wait for his/her turn to sit in. I usually get a coupon to save $.

Surf best indoors with hot water

This is the next best thing to Hawaii’s warm water surfing. The wave is constant, the water is heating and there are no tiger sharks or fears of cleaning up against the reef! The staff is friendly and helpful. When you miss the scarecrow ride and want to stop on the surfboards, the staff will help take you with a rope. The best times to go are at or near closing time for lunch so you get more time at the Wave Hotel and there are fewer people there. They have food and other activities there and are kid friendly so the whole family can spend a couple of hours. Call ahead to reserve a spot at the Wave Hotel or see how busy it is. You can also book paintball, trampoline or other activities. Pretty awesome place.
